Actual Play – The Sprawl – S2 City at War – Episode 9

The crew finds themselves in the center of a dangerous, high stakes effort to band all the city’s gangs together against a powerful common enemy. After securing the Space Needle 2 as a “descrete” venue, the crew rushes to prepare defenses and escape routes in case things take a deadly turn. Surely these are unneeded precautions.

GM – Joe
Adam – Banshee
Brownie – Watch
Chris – Craig Sirota
David – Elena Lobacheva
Jeremy – Julian Black

[00:00:00] you're listening to the Roleplaying Exchange.

[00:00:02] Tonight's game is The Sprawl.

[00:00:05] I am your GM, Joe.

[00:00:07] Let's go around and introduce the characters in player alphabetical order.

[00:00:12] Hey, this is Adam and I will be reprising the role of Banshee,

[00:00:17] the Driver playbook last week.

[00:00:21] My recollection of it is I don't think I drove so much,

[00:00:25] but I really had a good opportunity to talk to the CyberDow group.

[00:00:33] So that's kind of my highlight.

[00:00:35] You definitely made them feel your...

[00:00:41] Well, convinced them that you understood their frustrations with reality as it exists.

[00:00:48] Hi, I'm Brownie. I'm back once again playing Watch.

[00:00:52] Not much of a talker, but my arts and crafts speak for themselves.

[00:00:56] This is Elena. I am the killer playbook.

[00:01:00] Also most dangerous woman in all of Los Ligaros.

[00:01:04] I have that on business cards now. Look, it's great, see?

[00:01:08] And this is Jeremy. I'll be reprising the role of Julian Black, the Fixer.

[00:01:13] Hoping to recreate the Warriors in a positive way and not get shot like Cyrus,

[00:01:18] but actually reunite the gang. So we'll see what happens.

[00:01:23] Alright, so first things first.

[00:01:28] You have established the gang conference.

[00:01:33] Craig has gone off to do his own thing.

[00:01:36] He's got other leads to investigate unrelated to this particular matter,

[00:01:40] but probably definitely related to the Chameleon.

[00:01:45] Or he's sleeping underneath the bench in a boat or the trunk of the car somewhere again, you know, like he does.

[00:01:51] Elena has absolutely no idea why Craig is currently sleeping in trunk of car,

[00:01:57] bound, gagged and chloroformed.

[00:02:00] Also, have no idea how I ended up with this bottle of chloroform in hand.

[00:02:06] He's crazy! He's mystery!

[00:02:08] Craig says he was going to hurt us.

[00:02:11] Wow, he said chaos going to reign. So, you gotta reign that in however you can.

[00:02:18] It was nighty night time.

[00:02:20] So our gang member conference, where did we decide we wanted to end up?

[00:02:26] I know we said maybe Hellen's, but Hellen's wanting out of the game.

[00:02:29] With Craig taking a thunder nap, I don't think we can use his place.

[00:02:32] And then there was the space needle as an option, or maybe one of the row houses we cleared out earlier.

[00:02:36] What are you guys thinking?

[00:02:38] Row houses are entirely full of homeless people we rescued from the sewer.

[00:02:42] I mean, by definition they're no longer homeless people.

[00:02:46] Formerly homeless people we rescued from sewer.

[00:02:50] I like the idea of the space needle just for the fact of it's no one's territory and it's up high.

[00:02:58] We can have sight lines. It's going to be easy to fortify.

[00:03:01] I like it. I think it's a cool idea.

[00:03:04] This is of course the lesser space needle. Space needle 2, electric boogaloo.

[00:03:11] And you know after the event it's very inexpensive conference space.

[00:03:16] It sure will be. They're really going to drop their prices after nothing bad at all definitely happens there.

[00:03:27] I guess I'm going to bring up some space needle blueprints.

[00:03:32] That definitely won't put me on the FBI's watch list.

[00:03:37] Have you ever seen an olive on a toothpick?

[00:03:41] Yes.

[00:03:42] You're done.

[00:03:43] I mean, I know what the space needle looks like.

[00:03:48] There are the incredibly rickety monorails that lead there still right?

[00:03:53] Why wouldn't there be? Holy shit there are blueprints.

[00:03:57] Nice.

[00:04:00] What? Okay, well interesting.

[00:04:05] Well I guess the big thing we got to do besides getting to the space needle 2 electric boogaloo is the fact that we need to figure out how to make good on the promises that we made.

[00:04:14] Apparently they're going to put glass floors out on it. Make it even creepier. Anyway.

[00:04:21] So what promises were made?

[00:04:24] Essentially the Juggler assassins want a shot at the chameleon.

[00:04:30] The screaming eagles just want a shot at anything and the cyber phoenixes want Nano Link specifically.

[00:04:42] I think if we could get a line on something Nano Link,

[00:04:45] we could potentially two birds with one stone when it comes to the cyber phoenixes and the screaming eagles.

[00:04:53] We could have the screaming eagles come in as like the basically what Banshee had mentioned before with the basically them being NASCAR bootleggers.

[00:05:03] Have them do the running of this stuff that's getting stolen and the cyber phoenix is actually doing the unlocking of the doors so they get the stuff to steal.

[00:05:12] We have a piece of Intel if we want to cash that in for potential lead for something.

[00:05:18] We basically have our very own Augustine AI, right? That could help us out with something with Nano Link.

[00:05:24] I mean we don't have it. We know.

[00:05:27] You know of one. You could ask it very politely and maybe it'll do it.

[00:05:33] I mean you do have a bunch of like brains with a ton of security knowledge for the local area if you want to interrogate them.

[00:05:42] Now you'd have to get the equipment to do that. It's not like you could just come up with it.

[00:05:46] That would be a whole job.

[00:05:48] I mean without Craig here we could also talk to HackerMan.

[00:05:51] Yes, you could talk to HackerMan. Now Craig is out of the job at the moment.

[00:05:57] Just brainstorming. No bad ideas.

[00:06:00] So I guess we do. We just book the conference room at the Space Needle.

[00:06:09] Yeah, it's a microcorp that owns it. Space Needle, Incorporated, LLC.

[00:06:17] And they will rent it out for five cred. They make no promises.

[00:06:25] Is there a way we could negotiate that down?

[00:06:28] I mean you could try, but like they have a standard cost.

[00:06:32] They'll give you food. Like they'll provide a spread.

[00:06:37] But they're not going to provide any security or anything other than...

[00:06:47] The locale?

[00:06:48] Locale, right. And some kind of elderly conference tables.

[00:06:55] Elena will cover. It's exactly what we want.

[00:06:59] It's a nice location. They're going to provide sandwiches and privacy.

[00:07:07] There will be no one there. So Elena will go pay for the conference room and then sweep for books.

[00:07:15] Yeah, we need to either have that, do that and also maybe have some type of white noise generation.

[00:07:20] So we make sure that there's nothing peeking in.

[00:07:24] We should negotiate to get the cleaning fees included.

[00:07:27] If we're paying full price, cleaning fees are already included.

[00:07:31] Put the Fago on ice.

[00:07:33] Da, Fago on ice. It must be slightly chilled.

[00:07:38] Yeah, not too cold. You want to get the full flavor and if it's too cold you won't.

[00:07:44] It'll be the hard Fago, right?

[00:07:47] They have some hard Fago.

[00:07:49] Okay.

[00:07:50] It's a thing now.

[00:07:51] David, I'll jump in. Let me throw two creds in on that.

[00:07:55] I appreciate the selflessness, but I'll throw two in on the expenses for the conference room.

[00:08:03] Banshee is wanting to leave this place in a better position than what it was when she found it.

[00:08:12] She's kind of feeling bad about our death though.

[00:08:15] Well, you're going to feel worse.

[00:08:22] I'm just saying, you know.

[00:08:25] We're in shit's hitting the fan territory.

[00:08:29] Alright, so it's going to be the Space Needle.

[00:08:31] You set them up.

[00:08:33] It's a long drive. It's slightly outside of Los Ligueros.

[00:08:37] It's not the real Space Needle. It's Space Needle 2. It's a sad clone.

[00:08:43] The original Space Needle was destroyed in a terrorist attack in 2070.

[00:08:48] So they built a duplicate outside of town where it could be better protected and Los Ligueros kind of grew up in the in-between space.

[00:08:57] What security measures are you taking?

[00:09:00] Laudmila, the tweens, extra ammunition.

[00:09:03] Perhaps a couple of engraved grenades that say send to occupant.

[00:09:10] To whom it may concern?

[00:09:14] Current resident.

[00:09:15] I assume I have a camera feed to my car.

[00:09:18] I would think that like a dash cam or something like that.

[00:09:21] So, I mean, yeah, there's no reason you wouldn't have that.

[00:09:24] So yeah, I'll park it out somewhere where it's nearby the building and can kind of watch the outside in case, you know, somebody tries to break up our party.

[00:09:32] But also I got guns that I can fire into the building from the car.

[00:09:35] So, you know, I'd like to leave the world at a better place than I found it.

[00:09:40] But I'd also like to be in that world.

[00:09:42] Yeah.

[00:09:44] If absolutely necessary, we will in fact, shoot up Space Needle.

[00:09:49] But everybody who is coming to this party is very well aware of the fact that we will in fact shoot up Space Needle.

[00:09:56] So I don't think we're going to have to until that's true.

[00:09:59] That's true.

[00:10:01] So yeah, I'd like to actually start.

[00:10:04] Is there a way to put a viewer out to see if we find that the gangs are making like an unusual activity leading up to it?

[00:10:13] Like, I don't know, hopping in fast cars and talking about family and hijacking a weapon shipment from whatever to take to it.

[00:10:23] Yeah, that sounds like you're going to use it.

[00:10:25] You're going to hit the street and use a contact.

[00:10:27] All right.

[00:10:28] So, yeah.

[00:10:29] So which one do I do first?

[00:10:30] Hit the street or make up a contact?

[00:10:33] So when you go to a contact for help, roll style, that is hit the street.

[00:10:39] You can make up a contact first that would know this and then rolling hit the street will provide you with the information of, you know, hey, does anybody has anybody heard about this thing?

[00:10:53] Right. My contact is a local smuggler of goods.

[00:10:58] He just, you know, kind of a wheel man.

[00:11:01] We have some we have some contacts in here if you want to use one of those.

[00:11:05] You could check out who just talked to before.

[00:11:09] Somebody talk to Skippy from the Fifth Street murderers.

[00:11:13] Yeah, that was David.

[00:11:17] David. Yeah, that's right.

[00:11:20] Re-intimidated in a minute.

[00:11:22] Tell it Aleta what she wanted to know.

[00:11:26] So roll style then.

[00:11:28] Yeah, I'll pull up there and check him out.

[00:11:31] So I'm sure you'll see the car pulling up anxiously looks and sees the passenger door opens up and Craig pops out.

[00:11:40] So whoever wants to come with me can come with me, but Craig doesn't pop out.

[00:11:43] If it's just Craig, it will be an audible sigh of relief.

[00:11:46] Yes.

[00:11:47] So, all right, let's throw that.

[00:11:50] Actually, I'll just do go ahead and do the play.

[00:11:54] How are you doing there, Skippy?

[00:11:55] Been a while.

[00:11:57] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:11:58] It's been a while for you too, Banshee.

[00:12:02] Damn.

[00:12:03] It kind of looks around.

[00:12:05] Alena around.

[00:12:08] Possibly.

[00:12:09] Oh, shit.

[00:12:10] Look, man, what do you want?

[00:12:13] Look, look, every time she's around, I get in trouble.

[00:12:16] We're threatened and it makes me uncomfortable.

[00:12:19] You know what I mean?

[00:12:20] I'm the only person who's going to be talking to you on the streets here.

[00:12:22] So you have nothing to worry about.

[00:12:23] It's just me.

[00:12:24] But yeah, look, we got that.

[00:12:27] We got some shit that's been hitting the fan lately.

[00:12:29] And what I was wondering is, have any of the other gangs been making it up?

[00:12:35] What I was wondering is, have any of the other gangs been making any unusual purchases or moving warlike products around?

[00:12:46] What not as of late?

[00:12:48] You know, because I mean, excluding us, I don't have to talk about us, right?

[00:12:53] No, no, no.

[00:12:54] You know, you guys are cool.

[00:12:56] That's the first time I've ever heard somebody call a gang called murderers.

[00:13:00] Cool, but great.

[00:13:02] So, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:13:04] So now make the roll.

[00:13:06] OK, now this is I'm doing hit the street, not fast talk.

[00:13:09] Not fast talk.

[00:13:10] Right.

[00:13:11] OK, so I just do a base zero on that.

[00:13:14] And let's see.

[00:13:16] That's a seven.

[00:13:17] All right.

[00:13:18] Choose two.

[00:13:19] It's going to cost you extra.

[00:13:20] It's going to take some time to put together.

[00:13:22] Going to attract unwanted attention, complication or consequences.

[00:13:26] Your contact needs you to help them out with something.

[00:13:29] I'll do it.

[00:13:30] It costs more and it will.

[00:13:35] I don't want to owe him.

[00:13:36] I don't want to make this like a Gordian nod of a scenario.

[00:13:39] We're going to take care of everything, so it'll it'll take some time.

[00:13:44] All right.

[00:13:45] Yeah, let me let me talk some folks and I'll get back to you.

[00:13:49] I will say it takes some time means you're not going to know until right before the conference what what state of readiness to be in.

[00:13:58] That's that's a little up in the air.

[00:14:01] I like it.

[00:14:02] But you'll know like right ahead of time, you'll get a text from this guy saying, yeah, you know, the Golden Phoenix has bought all new golden arms or whatever.

[00:14:12] I appreciate I appreciate all your help and efforts.

[00:14:15] You know, just let me let me know what I know.

[00:14:18] Yeah.

[00:14:19] And we'll set it will settle up with it.

[00:14:20] But let me just on the deal here.

[00:14:22] Let me tell you something.

[00:14:24] This corporate shit, it's it's getting bad, man.

[00:14:27] And they're not going to they're going to clean house and with the house.

[00:14:33] So, you know, the murderers that just there's safety numbers.

[00:14:38] That's all I'm saying.

[00:14:39] There's safety in numbers.

[00:14:40] Listen, listen, you're you're sliding me some primo info here.

[00:14:44] This is good, right?

[00:14:45] Like, you're not bullshitting me like there's going to be a sweep or something.

[00:14:50] It's it's congenial.

[00:14:52] I can't prove it.

[00:14:53] I can't prove it, but they're they're drawing attention of everyone else.

[00:14:56] And look, this is just this is me into me into his tuition here.

[00:15:01] I don't want you to put your eggs on one basket.

[00:15:03] God damn where my accent going with this.

[00:15:05] I took a one.

[00:15:07] Where are you going all over town?

[00:15:09] That's right.

[00:15:10] But just being honest with you, man, like, look, they're going to want to pin this on someone when they kiss and make up.

[00:15:16] They'll blame it on one of us.

[00:15:18] OK.

[00:15:19] All right.

[00:15:20] Yeah, I'll let the boss know and my pals and we'll we'll take the appropriate measures.

[00:15:27] I'm picking up what you're putting down.

[00:15:30] Hope it's not be misconstrued.

[00:15:32] But you hope he's picking up what you're putting down, not picking up something else.

[00:15:36] Yeah.

[00:15:38] Remember safety in numbers, safety in numbers.

[00:15:41] I got it.

[00:15:42] I got it.

[00:15:43] All right.

[00:15:44] Anybody else going to do anything before this conference to prepare?

[00:15:48] I think we should at least sweep the do some type of sweep on the room that we're going to be in to make sure there's no bugs and no nobody listening that shouldn't be listening.

[00:15:58] But that's more of a tech side.

[00:16:00] I'm definitely not that guy.

[00:16:02] I definitely have some ability to do some surveillance, see looking stuff around that.

[00:16:08] I would say so.

[00:16:09] Yeah.

[00:16:10] I also want to either really set up or set up in a way that's plausible if investigated that maybe the base of the tower is rigged to blow, you know, in case anything goes horribly wrong and as a way to keep the peace.

[00:16:26] I mean, mutually assured destruction is something the screaming eagles will remember from the 80s.

[00:16:31] It sure is.

[00:16:34] Also, while we're setting things up there are going to be a couple of zip lines and bungee cords on side of building or from balcony of needle bungee lines or hang gliders.

[00:16:47] We can do all three.

[00:16:49] Quick escape if necessary for us.

[00:16:53] Do you know how slow and ponderous those elevators are with the near near near near near is going to make you sitting ducks for helicopters.

[00:17:05] If the corporates decide to, you know, crash party.

[00:17:08] I wouldn't mind if I can get up into the space needle a little ahead.

[00:17:13] Maybe we can assess and check out sight lines and see like what the quickest way to escape is and stuff is.

[00:17:18] That would be a good idea.

[00:17:20] Okay.

[00:17:21] So what I'm hearing is be prepared to blow the space needle up.

[00:17:28] Check sight lines have an escape.

[00:17:31] Not up just over.

[00:17:32] Yes, thank you.

[00:17:34] Also, we're going.

[00:17:36] Elena is going to bring additional party favors.

[00:17:39] It's time to break out Bambi and Fumbar.

[00:17:42] Some people say that playing with RPGs is childish, but rocket propelled grenades are always, always useful.

[00:17:50] All right.

[00:17:51] Sounds like you're blowing a lot of cash here, guys.

[00:17:54] I mean, I can always rattle around in the storage shed and see if I find, you know, this that or the other thing that we need for the job.

[00:18:03] Yeah.

[00:18:04] I mean, you can get it from your maker space buddies.

[00:18:09] Some of that will be a little more experimental than traditional weapons.

[00:18:13] If you want to go that route.

[00:18:15] I was thinking about using my storage move.

[00:18:18] Okay, that's fair.

[00:18:20] What do you want to get out of storage?

[00:18:23] Well, I don't imagine I'd have rockets in there for Elena's plan, even though they are explosive.

[00:18:28] Maybe I do.

[00:18:29] Maybe I have rockets and I've just never had a delivery mechanism to go with.

[00:18:33] Yeah, you have a rocket, but no no tube to fire it at.

[00:18:38] If that'll cut down on the charge for Elena, I would be happy to do that one.

[00:18:42] That means you'll have to separately acquire or build the explosives instead of just having some.

[00:18:48] I think.

[00:18:49] Let me check the book.

[00:18:51] I'm going to look up this move.

[00:18:53] It's pretty cool move.

[00:18:55] The gist of the move, at least the mechanics piece is you can look through your accumulated parts and supplies for equipment that might help with the current mission.

[00:19:02] Roll mind and there's, you know, levels of success in there.

[00:19:05] Right.

[00:19:06] Okay.

[00:19:07] If you're not 10 plus, you get three deer.

[00:19:09] Holy crap.

[00:19:10] And my chosen area of expertise is pyrotechnician, which yeah.

[00:19:15] All right.

[00:19:16] I would say pyrotechnics would stretch to include rocket propelled grenades.

[00:19:21] Yes.

[00:19:23] What is a mortar but a rocket propelled grenade?

[00:19:25] Some people collect thimbles.

[00:19:27] It's not.

[00:19:28] Some people collect heavy munitions.

[00:19:30] Right.

[00:19:32] Let's see.

[00:19:34] Fuck it.

[00:19:35] All right.

[00:19:36] That is a six.

[00:19:40] Oof.

[00:19:41] No.

[00:19:43] I just have the display models.

[00:19:45] It's not going to actually work.

[00:19:47] Yeah.

[00:19:48] At least you get an experience out of it.

[00:19:50] Well, these are my show explosives.

[00:19:52] You know, these are the ones that you showed a company, not the ones you actually use.

[00:19:56] Right.

[00:19:57] This is what I could make for you.

[00:20:02] Actually having the explosives there when you go like try and get a freelance job is like

[00:20:09] selling somebody the gun with the ammo included.

[00:20:12] They can rob you.

[00:20:13] Don't do it.

[00:20:15] Well, I guess I'm going to roll a Cess to see if I can figure out sight lines and stuff.

[00:20:19] All right.

[00:20:21] And I imagine you're going to be the fixer they go through to make these gear acquisitions.

[00:20:25] Oh, of course.

[00:20:27] That was a seven.

[00:20:28] Yeah.

[00:20:29] But we're rolling not hot tonight.

[00:20:31] Hopefully it's it works better.

[00:20:35] All right.

[00:20:36] So you have you could ask one of these questions.

[00:20:39] Potential complication.

[00:20:41] Notice despite an effort to conceal it.

[00:20:43] How is blank vulnerable to me?

[00:20:45] How can I avoid trouble or hide best way in out or past get the most advantage biggest threat and who or what is in control here?

[00:20:57] Best way out.

[00:20:59] Your best way out.

[00:21:01] Your best best way out would be to have drones available with a remote controller who you could contact.

[00:21:08] You waiting to scoop you up out of the windows and fly your asses away.

[00:21:14] Second of that would be the bungee jump or hang glide solution.

[00:21:20] They both have their own problems.

[00:21:23] The bungee cord is of course going to be attached to the building and could be noticed.

[00:21:28] Hang glider will if it's put together it will definitely be noticed.

[00:21:33] If it isn't you'll have to assemble it and they're not exactly quick.

[00:21:39] The sparing that you could if you piled into the elevator and released it.

[00:21:49] It's not impossible that you could add a manual control mechanism for it where it will control mechanism but engine to drag it up and down the shaft apart from the usual speed it would have.

[00:22:05] So that it would be under your control.

[00:22:07] That would be another thing you could do to escape.

[00:22:10] Unfortunately the thing about the space needle is there's really only two ways in or out.

[00:22:15] Taking the elevators up, taking the stairs up or you know flying in or out through a window.

[00:22:23] How much would four wing suits cost?

[00:22:26] Well if they're unarmored I'm going to look them up.

[00:22:31] That's what the gear chapters for.

[00:22:33] Maybe we could just embrace it.

[00:22:36] I'm not necessarily hell bent on an easy escape if we have to Jeremy.

[00:22:42] It's cool if you want to buy them and all that.

[00:22:46] I'm going to say let's say two cred each.

[00:22:50] It's a complex and restricted gear.

[00:22:53] Oh okay.

[00:22:54] Then yeah we'll look at something else because that'd be eight cred right off the ribs.

[00:23:00] Yeah.

[00:23:01] Where's the hang glider you can just get one cred each.

[00:23:05] Like you can just have it.

[00:23:08] Is that still one cred for a tandem hang glider?

[00:23:11] Yeah.

[00:23:12] Creds pretty flexible.

[00:23:15] Can we get one of those you know touristy four-person hang gliders just to spend one cred?

[00:23:21] I mean sure but if that means if it gets shot you're all going down you know.

[00:23:27] Can we pay like one cred for a harpoon gun to shoot out of the car into the building and then slide down it like.

[00:23:35] At Man's Style?

[00:23:37] That'll be more expensive.

[00:23:40] It's a harpoon gun.

[00:23:42] That'll cost you two cred.

[00:23:44] But you know it's a harpoon gun like you'll have it.

[00:23:47] It's also two cred that you know versus eight cred guys.

[00:23:51] If you want a good escape that way then it's like and then we can just you know it's just zip lining guys.

[00:23:57] It's just zip lining.

[00:23:59] And then we could blow the needle on the way down.

[00:24:01] It'll be fast.

[00:24:03] Yeah.

[00:24:04] Very fast.

[00:24:05] It leads right to car.

[00:24:08] I'll throw two credits for that.

[00:24:10] Alright so I'm going to put in the chat a list of stuff you're going to buy.

[00:24:15] Stuff you're going to buy so far we have harpoon gun for shit box.

[00:24:25] Sounds like a Ramones album.

[00:24:31] Parentheses, zip line, close parentheses.

[00:24:36] Alright any other purchases we're going to make for escape reasons?

[00:24:41] I mean you'll have the you can just get the little hangers for the zip lines for free.

[00:24:46] Yeah.

[00:24:47] I'd like the nobody mess with us we'll blow the space needle explosives.

[00:24:53] Explosives okay.

[00:24:55] Now you've got two options if you buy them you can get them right now and you'll be able to do something else.

[00:25:02] I'm still going to make you roll a hit the street.

[00:25:06] Actually probably it'll be Jeremy rolling it.

[00:25:09] That's just going to determine whether it attracts attention really.

[00:25:15] Or you could make them and then that will be what you're doing the entire time between now and the conference.

[00:25:22] Do we have anyone else who can work on the surveillance system to make sure that you know it's not basically tap into it and make sure that we're not being surveilled against our will.

[00:25:33] What skill is that?

[00:25:35] I was going to use a bypass and neural interface and Jack in if it was me.

[00:25:42] I've got the neural interface such as if it was actual programming and stuff like that is that that edge.

[00:25:50] Yeah, I mean you would use assess Jackie and won't help you here because brownies can use it with his cyber arms and stuff.

[00:25:59] I think but that would just be a straight assess role for checking for bugs and whatever like your for your version of checking for bugs would be pretty manual like you literally just crawl over every inch of it and see if you found them.

[00:26:13] And hoped you didn't get tired and quit like a third of the way through.

[00:26:17] I mean I've got one in excess if anybody's got anything better than that.

[00:26:21] I've got a two.

[00:26:23] I can assist.

[00:26:24] You guys do that because I like I have an idea for the explosives that I want to make.

[00:26:29] Okay.

[00:26:30] Right.

[00:26:31] Good a grave everybody's name on it.

[00:26:35] This bomb has all your names on it.

[00:26:38] Alright, so if Banshee assists can I get a plus one off of that.

[00:26:43] Yes.

[00:26:44] And what's Elena doing like what's.

[00:26:47] Sighting in targets alongside of space needle but otherwise, what do you need Elena to do.

[00:26:53] Aren't you shopping for rockets.

[00:26:55] Oh, yes.

[00:26:57] Alright rocket shopping.

[00:26:59] As an eight for assess for the for the bug sweep.

[00:27:04] Right so in eight you get to ask another one of these questions.

[00:27:10] And the answer is easy you want what do I notice despite an effort to conceal it.

[00:27:15] There are bugs here.

[00:27:18] You're not sure who they belong to, but they look pretty corporate.

[00:27:23] So you probably want to dispose of them or cover them with a white noise generator or what have you.

[00:27:29] They're AV looks like they're in the light fixtures in the ceiling is where they have been placed.

[00:27:37] What's the have a lot of pretty good coverage.

[00:27:40] What's the cost on a white nose machine.

[00:27:42] It's just going to be if you don't care whether they know that their bugs have been circumvented.

[00:27:48] It'll be one if you want to provide them with actually there's been no conference here.

[00:27:53] That's probably going to be too.

[00:27:55] That's the one I want.

[00:27:57] The second one because I wanted to make it look like we didn't know they were there but they just didn't catch anything.

[00:28:03] All right.

[00:28:05] See.

[00:28:07] And Alaina you were checking sight lines.

[00:28:10] The end rocket shopping or rather rocket launcher shopping just getting tools.

[00:28:17] Yeah.

[00:28:18] Like I said that's just going to be like that's going to be a role for Julian to make sure you guys don't get noticed buying all this crud.

[00:28:33] But I mean it's going to be expensive.

[00:28:37] It's going to cost you four credit.

[00:28:40] Are these going to be face to face interactions or none.

[00:28:48] It doesn't have to be face to face.

[00:28:50] It can be face to face if you prefer it.

[00:28:52] But if you would prefer it to be remote then if it's face to face I get a bonus.

[00:28:57] That's the reason I was asking.

[00:28:58] All right.

[00:28:59] Well it's face to face.

[00:29:00] Who do you who is a weapons dealer you know who can get you this stuff on the short notice the harpoon gun and the RPG or missile launcher actually I think is what it is.

[00:29:10] 100 K's a merc.

[00:29:12] I will tell you this when you contact 100 K he is on a job and he can't help you.

[00:29:19] Like he's he straight up says hey Julian.

[00:29:22] I don't know what you need but I'm on a job and so I'm not going to be able to provide you with any services.

[00:29:27] Like on the voicemail.

[00:29:30] No he does see your like number and he's like okay yeah I'm going to answer this guy but I'm going to tell him what the deal is.

[00:29:38] Let's see we go to Roger.

[00:29:42] He's our other guy.

[00:29:43] I'm going to go to Roger.

[00:29:45] He's our other go to between the guy that we go to when we don't want things associated with us.

[00:29:48] Yeah.

[00:29:49] Roger will help you out.

[00:29:50] I forget what Roger's character was like but we're just going to go.

[00:29:53] Roger pretty laid back.

[00:29:54] Yeah he was mostly just laid back knew a guy that he could pin things on.

[00:29:58] Yeah.

[00:29:59] Julian.

[00:30:00] Hey Roger.

[00:30:01] Not too bad how you been.

[00:30:03] Seems things seem to be lightened up pretty well.

[00:30:06] Yeah.

[00:30:07] I'm assuming the business is probably pretty good for the likes of us.

[00:30:10] Business is great.

[00:30:12] You know these friggin corpos man they're real hot for killing each other.

[00:30:18] Yeah they are.

[00:30:20] You know my dad was in the last war and he warned me but I didn't believe him.

[00:30:25] It's much crazier than I thought.

[00:30:28] Yeah.

[00:30:29] People with infinite amounts of budget and infinite amounts of disposable assets tend to throw people out as all willy nilly.

[00:30:37] And it gets a little crazy but you know we're trying to do some stuff to keep the peace.

[00:30:41] We're seeing if we could get some fun little toys to try and kind of balance the equation a little bit if you know what I mean.

[00:30:50] Yeah.

[00:30:51] Yeah I heard about that.

[00:30:53] Working with the chameleon.

[00:30:55] Bold.

[00:30:56] Bold move.

[00:30:57] Yeah well as slimy as he is he's at least trying to keep the citizens from getting caught in the middle because if he doesn't have any constituents he doesn't have an office to run so it's not altruistic but at the same time it's a little bit of a challenge.

[00:31:12] So what do you need me to do?

[00:31:15] Just looking for some tubes to throw things some long distances and make a little boom out of it.

[00:31:23] Gotcha.

[00:31:24] Alright.

[00:31:26] Yeah I can hook you up with that.

[00:31:29] No problem.

[00:31:30] That's what I like to hear.

[00:31:31] You know you're the only other person that I trust that would be able to do this type of stuff so I'm glad to hear that you got some connections because mine are a little busy right now so.

[00:31:40] Yeah I imagine they are.

[00:31:42] So what do you need me to do?

[00:31:45] Just looking for some tubes to throw things some long distances and make a little boom out of it.

[00:31:50] Gotcha.

[00:31:51] Alright.

[00:31:53] Yeah I can hook you up with that.

[00:31:55] No problem.

[00:31:57] Yeah I imagine they are.

[00:31:59] So what do you need?

[00:32:01] Sorry it was late night last night.

[00:32:03] I was running a lot of jobs.

[00:32:05] I give him the list that Alaina gave me.

[00:32:09] Alright harpoon gun for cyber car.

[00:32:12] No problem.

[00:32:13] RPG.

[00:32:14] White Lose Machine.

[00:32:16] Okay so that's going to be 2, 4, 2 so 8.

[00:32:21] It will cost you 8 cred.

[00:32:24] And what else is it going to cost you?

[00:32:27] Out of the 2.

[00:32:30] Out of the 1.

[00:32:31] I'm hard to find.

[00:32:33] You're hard to find.

[00:32:34] Okay so just pick one.

[00:32:35] How much would it be on cost extra?

[00:32:38] It will be one more for each.

[00:32:41] Everybody cool with that?

[00:32:42] That's paying?

[00:32:44] Not that very much.

[00:32:46] Alright so one extra.

[00:32:47] That's good.

[00:32:48] Alright it will cost 11.

[00:32:50] Alright I got my 3 thrown in.

[00:32:52] Okay.

[00:32:53] Yeah I can have this stuff to you tomorrow.

[00:32:55] It's going to come from my private stocks.

[00:32:57] That's why I got to upcharge it.

[00:32:59] But I can get it to you no problem.

[00:33:01] Well I definitely appreciate it.

[00:33:03] If next time something comes along we'll definitely shoot you a line.

[00:33:07] If you have any eyes on any good equipment you let me know.

[00:33:12] And we'll definitely scratch each other's backs a little bit.

[00:33:16] We've got more work than we know what to do with right now.

[00:33:18] So it's not a bad problem to have.

[00:33:20] Sure isn't.

[00:33:21] Yeah you keep me in the loop I'll keep you in the loop.

[00:33:24] Sounds good.

[00:33:25] Drop into chat how much you need me to take out for that Jeremy.

[00:33:30] I've stepped away from the keyboard.

[00:33:32] I'll pay my fair share.

[00:33:33] You just tell me what I need.

[00:33:35] Okay I threw in 3.

[00:33:37] And you said it was 11?

[00:33:40] Yeah I threw in 3 for the white noise machine.

[00:33:43] 11 total yeah.

[00:33:45] 11 total okay.

[00:33:46] So I've got 3.

[00:33:48] I'll toss in 3.

[00:33:50] 3, 3, 3 so I guess I'll go 2 then?

[00:33:54] Or that makes 11?

[00:33:56] Okay.

[00:33:57] Alright that brings us to I think the mutually assured exit plan.

[00:34:03] So you know when you go to a conference how they have that like that bunting up that says welcome to blah blah blah con just up around places up on sides of buildings that kind of thing?

[00:34:16] Yeah.

[00:34:17] Imagine something like that of course cybery right?

[00:34:21] So bringing one of the narrowest parts of the tower welcome to needle con because we don't want to say what it actually is right?

[00:34:33] Yeah.

[00:34:34] And you know it drapes around the entire building.

[00:34:39] There are panels that have little tiny hollow emitters in them that are emitting at times you know welcome to needle con and then occasionally a screaming eagle and occasionally a golden phoenix and occasionally a magnet you know rotating like it does in kind of an attract kind of thing.

[00:34:59] But each of those hollow emitters has a shaped charge aimed into the building that can be set off as needed.

[00:35:05] Cool.

[00:35:06] That's what I'm going for.

[00:35:07] Alright.

[00:35:08] That's pretty neat.

[00:35:10] That is definitely reasonably taking up a lot of your time.

[00:35:14] Yep yep had to make it worthwhile.

[00:35:16] So I'd be doing this with my cyber arm which would give me a plus one forward and would you allow me a plus one forward for my pyro technician?

[00:35:25] Yes.

[00:35:27] Alright that's plus two forward rolling on synth which gives me a total of an eight.

[00:35:31] And we are rolling.

[00:35:33] Alright eight.

[00:35:34] Eight is something.

[00:35:38] The boom boom bunting is what it's called.

[00:35:40] Boom boom bunting.

[00:35:42] And I of course want to have a little bit of video of me assembling this thing so I can if I say you know I wouldn't do that or we'll blow the whole building and then have a little montage of this obvious welcoming sign that they all saw when they came in because it's bright

[00:35:56] and flashy.

[00:35:57] Right.

[00:35:58] Right just so they know what it is kind of at a glance easily.

[00:36:02] Yeah that makes sense.

[00:36:07] Just so I can play it over conference screens hollow emitters something like that if the need arises.

[00:36:13] Alright so I'm going to say because you're building bombs that are supposed to have a specific purpose.

[00:36:22] I'm going to you roll off of the mix it up sheet.

[00:36:27] You rolled an eight so you'll choose to you make too much noise advanced relevant mission clock making too much noise in this circumstance would be had to source a lot of materials and obviously for making bombs.

[00:36:40] You take harm as established by the fiction.

[00:36:43] Obviously that would be like there was a misfire at some point.

[00:36:49] Not necessarily enough to do serious harm but you got some scorch marks or you know or mangle my cyber arm for this mission so I can't use anymore.

[00:37:01] Yeah, that would be appropriate.

[00:37:04] An ally takes harm as established by the fiction that would indicate that you realize and not until too late that the charges are not placed as precisely as you would like it if you do put them blow them off like somebody on your side is guaranteed to get hurt or something of value breaks.

[00:37:26] Let's go with the cyber arm not functional for this mission.

[00:37:30] Okay, has as harm for the fiction.

[00:37:33] Okay.

[00:37:34] As one of the little Dennis Nedry from dress to pop up and go now.

[00:37:39] You didn't say the magic word.

[00:37:43] All right, yeah.

[00:37:45] There's a minor explosion while you're, you know, mixing the chemicals together and assembling the bombs, and it does some damage to the to the cyber arm.

[00:37:56] I got to get some, some of those little micro gears replaced and some of the cyber nerves there, it'll still function like it's got full regular hand functionality but it can't do any of the precision stuff usually needed to.

[00:38:11] Yeah, we'll get the maker space on printing those gears out for me for next mission. Yeah, it's going to take some time you know they're special or. Yeah. All right.

[00:38:19] Any other actions that can be taken before we start the conference and also who's going to be doing the mediating because somebody is going to put this plan to them.

[00:38:32] And I'd like to know who that is.

[00:38:35] Like what's the team that's like, listen, you should stop fighting each other so we could fight the corpse and win.

[00:38:40] I'm going to assume that's probably me because I'm the talker. I would hope so, but it would be funny if it was Elena and her solution was well just hold a gun to each other.

[00:38:51] It's they're going to do it or I'll kill them. And then the next guy who comes up, they'll do it.

[00:38:57] We'll call that the plan B.

[00:39:00] I'll be standing with Mr. Black and indefinite to Mr. Black sensibilities instead of using instead of wearing normal clothes.

[00:39:09] I'm going to go with the formal intimidation, white skirts, slit clear up to hip really, really spiky still at those and I'm going to be fully armed.

[00:39:21] Oh, suggestion. Why don't we all just go in there? I mean, we're, we're trying to get all them to come in and you know, it's like we're just putting all the cards on the table.

[00:39:33] So to speak. And now, granted, you know, we have a few up our sleeve in case the game gets a little heated to use that analogy.

[00:39:40] But I mean, personally, I'm all in favor of we all walk in there.

[00:39:44] We are all on site.

[00:39:46] I think we should basically have one giant round conference table, not anything to where it looks like we're not all equals to start.

[00:39:53] OK, I'd be the one giving out name tag show.

[00:39:57] Yes. Here's who you know is going to show up.

[00:40:01] Obviously, Mecha Mullet and Golden Phoenix Mecha Mullet's lieutenant whose name is Bad Lieutenant.

[00:40:13] That's every one of Mecha Mullet's lieutenants gets their name changed to that.

[00:40:19] And got ahead.

[00:40:22] Pyr is going to be there with Golden Phoenix.

[00:40:26] And of course, of course, Void Clown is going to be there with two heavy hitters, Bob and Doug.

[00:40:36] So that's everybody who knows going to attend now.

[00:40:39] So we can't basically funnel them in at a certain time, like tell the Juggalo assassins to show up early so they can.

[00:40:48] You can tell the Juggalo assassins to show up early. That's not going to be a problem.

[00:40:52] They're the ones that are supposed to be the peacekeepers.

[00:40:54] So we kind of want them early, them there early and then the Golden Phoenix is in the the Screamin' Eagles can show up whenever they do.

[00:41:02] We're not going to tell them when to show up.

[00:41:04] And if whoever shows up early, that's fine.

[00:41:07] But we just if we're going to be there early, we want our media or our backup mediators to be there too.

[00:41:12] Right. Cool. So they show up first.

[00:41:16] Nod. Is Chameleon going to be at this conference?

[00:41:21] Oh, he is not. This is a this is a thing between us being handled by us and brokered by us.

[00:41:26] He is on the outside.

[00:41:28] He gave us some things that we could potentially broker with, but he will not be at this meeting.

[00:41:33] All right. You let us know where he's going to be when you know it.

[00:41:37] We'll just take him right out of the equation.

[00:41:39] Well, we'll worry about that after we all get paid for this.

[00:41:42] So fair enough. I can't I can't broker with a dead man.

[00:41:46] So true. Get his money first. Smart. Yep.

[00:41:51] Void Clown. Very nice to meet you. Bob, Doug. Also equally equally pleasure.

[00:41:57] Bob and Doug have very powerful handshakes.

[00:42:01] I was like, oh, man. That's why we brought you in.

[00:42:07] It's very nice to meet you, gentlemen. I've heard good things about you from Craig.

[00:42:10] I heard you were good at what you did and level headed enough to be able to be muscle for us.

[00:42:17] And I appreciate you coming. We will we'll make it worth your while for a job well done.

[00:42:24] Hopefully we can get in and get out before anything stupid happens and we can all go home to a more peaceful neighborhood.

[00:42:30] One moment there, if you don't mind. Bob, I got your name here. Here's your name tag.

[00:42:35] Doug, now do I spend a new love? Oh, I'm sorry.

[00:42:39] But Doug, now is this like D.O.U.G. or is this like past tense for dig?

[00:42:44] I just want to know how to write this.

[00:42:46] Past tense for dig. Oh, put an E on the end.

[00:42:50] With an accent. So many umlauts.

[00:42:55] Let me go over it with this highlighter here, because you're special for us. Thank you.

[00:43:01] There's a there's there's a catering spread on the table there.

[00:43:05] There is some Faygo on the chill.

[00:43:07] If you feel free to help yourselves until the till the other gentlemen arrive.

[00:43:11] All right. They they avail themselves of the spread.

[00:43:15] The spread is C plus to B minus.

[00:43:19] Definitely not the worst you've ever had.

[00:43:21] But for the amount of money you're paying, it could be better.

[00:43:24] Well, if things go badly, this place is going to go down.

[00:43:27] So it doesn't matter. That's a fuck.

[00:43:29] Maybe we'll blow it up anyway.

[00:43:31] We wanted cucumber sandwiches.

[00:43:34] Boom. Essentially the one the breakfast buffet at a high.

[00:43:38] You're like, man, I paid two hundred dollars for his hotel.

[00:43:41] You think they give me more than fucking waffles?

[00:43:43] Yeah. Waffles. I got to make myself and rubbery eggs.

[00:43:47] Well, if you're in Texas, they're Texas shaped waffles with pecan maple syrup.

[00:43:51] That's amazing.

[00:43:52] And, you know, the world's worst oatmeal.

[00:43:59] No one has ever eaten it.

[00:44:01] No one ever will.

[00:44:03] It's like one step from wallpaper paste.

[00:44:05] I mean, it really is terrible.

[00:44:07] Well, on the other hand, sometimes the pastries are good.

[00:44:10] Sometimes pastries are good. Yeah.

[00:44:12] All right. So, uh, yeah.

[00:44:16] Next to show up are the screaming eagles.

[00:44:19] Although the Golden Phoenixes arrive right behind them.

[00:44:23] Oh, yeah, you get the word from.

[00:44:27] Skippy? Yeah.

[00:44:30] Oh, God. I like his name up again.

[00:44:34] Skippy. You get the word.

[00:44:36] You get the word from skippies like, well, I mean, they made some buys and,

[00:44:41] you know, there's some talk of if, hey, if this thing goes down bad,

[00:44:47] there's going to be big gang war.

[00:44:49] They're prepped for that.

[00:44:51] They got some vehicles and stuff, but I wouldn't say it's like completely

[00:44:55] beyond the pale.

[00:44:57] But, you know, if it goes wrong, it's going to be bad.

[00:45:01] I got to tell you that.

[00:45:03] I also heard what you're trying to do.

[00:45:05] I think you're nuts.

[00:45:07] Yeah. If it goes wrong, it's yeah, it's going to be blood in the streets.

[00:45:12] And that's coming from a murderer.

[00:45:15] If it goes right, then, you know,

[00:45:18] the streets will just run with piss, I guess, instead.

[00:45:21] But whatever. It's none of my business.

[00:45:25] I appreciate the warning.

[00:45:27] I think I really know what you're talking about now.

[00:45:30] So, yeah, we'll be we'll be prepared.

[00:45:34] Well, you take care of yourself, Skippy, and thank you for everything.

[00:45:40] You got it.

[00:45:41] Listen, Banshee, if you're next time you're around,

[00:45:45] you know, give your buddies, give me a ring.

[00:45:47] I mean, we'll go on a long drive.

[00:45:49] And he winks at you and then he hangs up.

[00:45:53] It was FaceTime.

[00:45:55] I could dirty.

[00:45:57] You should.

[00:45:59] He does that to everybody, though.

[00:46:01] Dirty, but not special. Got it.

[00:46:03] Yeah.

[00:46:04] Almost everybody.

[00:46:05] Well, yeah, he wouldn't do it to Elena, Elena,

[00:46:07] would kill him out of hand.

[00:46:09] The idea of it for something, Joe, when you're like one more thing,

[00:46:14] kind of you almost columnal.

[00:46:18] Just one more question.

[00:46:20] All right.

[00:46:23] So Mechamola rolls up to Julian, shakes Julian's head.

[00:46:28] Julian, glad to see your broker in his piece or whatever the Christ it is.

[00:46:32] I got one question.

[00:46:34] What's your question?

[00:46:35] What the fuck is Needlecon?

[00:46:36] What is it?

[00:46:37] Needlecon?

[00:46:38] It's a sewing bee.

[00:46:40] I don't know what this is.

[00:46:42] Are you into mackerel?

[00:46:43] Can you fucking put this up?

[00:46:45] Needlecon?

[00:46:46] Yeah, all this butt-ticking shit.

[00:46:49] Needlecon, what the hell is it?

[00:46:51] Well, we're trying to put a spike in here.

[00:46:53] It's got an eagle that screams on it and it's got like another bird

[00:46:56] that looks like it's pissed itself all over the place.

[00:47:00] Well, we're trying to put a needle, be the needle in the haystack

[00:47:04] and we're trying to get in and mess with the corporations.

[00:47:07] So we might as well have a convention around it.

[00:47:10] Is this sort of a roundabout way of telling me this is a cover?

[00:47:14] Basically.

[00:47:16] All right, you could have just said it's a cover.

[00:47:18] Well, I try to wordsmith it the way I can.

[00:47:21] Sometimes it comes in, sometimes it doesn't.

[00:47:23] Oh shit, is that banana figo?

[00:47:24] He just leaves.

[00:47:26] Mr. Bad, it's nice to also see you as well.

[00:47:29] Yeah, yeah.

[00:47:32] Hey, listen, I hope you guys, if this is a setup, you guys are dead.

[00:47:36] You know that, right?

[00:47:37] If this is a setup, we're all dead.

[00:47:39] So we're not special in that aspect.

[00:47:41] So we're really trying to help out here.

[00:47:44] We're trying to get everybody on one same page

[00:47:46] and go against the corporations, not against each other.

[00:47:50] Oh, is that what your pitch is going to be?

[00:47:52] Yeah.

[00:47:53] All right, well, just as a courtesy, I'm opposed,

[00:47:58] but fucking Mr. Banana Fago there, he's double fisting hard banana fagos.

[00:48:06] He'll probably be in favor.

[00:48:09] He's a dumbass.

[00:48:11] Well, I appreciate your candor and I definitely,

[00:48:14] if it was any other circumstance,

[00:48:17] we'd be having a different conversation.

[00:48:19] But with the corporate war going on,

[00:48:21] we really don't need to be at odds with each other

[00:48:23] with civilians in the middle.

[00:48:25] We need to, there's a lot more money to be taken from the corporations

[00:48:28] than taken from our own blood.

[00:48:31] I mean, it's a good argument.

[00:48:33] Anyway, I'm going to have one of those cucumber sandwiches.

[00:48:37] I'll be back.

[00:48:38] Make sure you get your name tag from Banshee over there.

[00:48:42] Oh yeah, all right.

[00:48:43] Yeah, just put bad on it.

[00:48:46] Oh, it says bad, Lieutenant.

[00:48:47] That's fine.

[00:48:48] I don't care.

[00:48:49] Come on.

[00:48:50] Golden Phoenix himself comes up.

[00:48:53] He just nods at you and sits down.

[00:48:58] The pyre gives you like a side eye as he sits down

[00:49:02] and throws you the wishy washy motion under the table

[00:49:07] where Golden Phoenix can't see it.

[00:49:10] I gave him a little nod because I know he didn't want to be at this meeting.

[00:49:14] All right, anybody want to do anything before we kick this pig?

[00:49:19] Can't think of anything.

[00:49:21] Let's boot this bacon.

[00:49:23] Watch, you got anything?

[00:49:25] Just fiddling with the explosive remote, that's all.

[00:49:29] Okay.

[00:49:30] In my meat hand.

[00:49:32] In your meat hand, right?

[00:49:33] Mm-hmm.

[00:49:34] All right, gentlemen, I think you probably already know the gist

[00:49:37] of what we're doing to meet here.

[00:49:39] We're trying to kind of quell the corporate war in our neighborhood.

[00:49:45] I know that we're all trying to kind of jockey for position,

[00:49:48] and we all really think it's a good opportunity to advance our own agendas,

[00:49:52] but with the corporations coming out in force and battling each other,

[00:49:57] I don't think this is a good time for us to be battling each other.

[00:50:01] I think there's a lot more to gain from striking back into corporations

[00:50:05] than there is to striking against each other.

[00:50:07] And also if we can come to a coexistence here,

[00:50:10] maybe we can all profit.

[00:50:13] We can all keep the civilians out of the line of fire.

[00:50:16] We can all come out ahead on this, and if we can coexist a little bit more, great.

[00:50:22] Just right now I'm worried about how the neighborhood's going to end up,

[00:50:25] and I don't want it to be a giant smoking crater at the end that we caused

[00:50:29] whenever we can actually take it away from the corporates

[00:50:32] that are trying to cause it.

[00:50:34] I mean, listen, I'm happy to go against corporations anytime, anywhere,

[00:50:41] but we got to secure ourselves first.

[00:50:45] GoldenFedex says,

[00:50:46] I agree with this, uh, how lesbians like... person.

[00:50:53] Well, one of the ways that we can help secure ourselves is to stop the outside threat.

[00:50:57] Once it's done, you guys can do whatever you want,

[00:51:01] but until then we really need a truce to stop the bloodshed,

[00:51:06] because they've got infinite numbers, they've got infinite amounts of money,

[00:51:09] they've got the latest tech, they've got expendable soldiers.

[00:51:13] We're just, we're finite.

[00:51:15] The argument you're making is for less peace, not more.

[00:51:20] To proceed successfully against the corporations,

[00:51:23] we're going to require an enormous amount of resources.

[00:51:28] Certainly we would not be able to gain those,

[00:51:30] even anything even close to those resources if we were to split

[00:51:34] the territory of the melting pot and the rest of Los Agueras between ourselves.

[00:51:41] Split the melting pot?

[00:51:43] Are you listening to yourself?

[00:51:46] Um, I typically do.

[00:51:49] Pardon me for interjecting,

[00:51:51] but if you're trying to steal from people who have five dollars and you take four,

[00:51:57] you are four dollars richer, but you took that person's last four dollars.

[00:52:01] If you take from a corporation that has five million dollars,

[00:52:05] they won't notice the ten.

[00:52:08] You'll be able to take more money from corporations

[00:52:10] than you would be able to take from the little people.

[00:52:12] Why would you try to steal from people who have nothing?

[00:52:16] Your famous American robber, what was it, Jesse James,

[00:52:20] once said that he steals from banks and stagecoaches

[00:52:23] because that's where the money is.

[00:52:25] Why would you rob the melting pot?

[00:52:28] Why would you try to do crime in the melting pot,

[00:52:31] taking from people who have nothing

[00:52:34] than you could take from corporations who have everything?

[00:52:38] Well, I'll make two counter arguments.

[00:52:40] Although they are the same argument.

[00:52:43] First is, um, Alina, has anyone ever robbed you?

[00:52:49] Successfully.

[00:52:50] Many times.

[00:52:52] But I usually end up shooting them after the end

[00:52:54] and getting whatever it is that they take back,

[00:52:57] except for the feisty ones.

[00:52:58] Exactly.

[00:52:59] Exactly.

[00:53:01] So, it's much easier to rob someone who is,

[00:53:06] let's admit it, we're all adults here, defenseless.

[00:53:10] Which is what most of the people in the melting pot are.

[00:53:13] Ah, so what you're saying is that you are a bully?

[00:53:17] Yes, I am a criminal.

[00:53:19] No, you are a bully.

[00:53:21] Criminals.

[00:53:23] Criminals?

[00:53:25] Criminals are people who know how to do crime successfully.

[00:53:29] Bullies are people who simply attack the weak and helpless.

[00:53:34] So all you are is just big bully.

[00:53:36] Is that what you are saying?

[00:53:38] Or are you trying to claim to be criminal?

[00:53:40] Because if you're trying to claim to be criminal,

[00:53:42] that means you need to up your game and take from people

[00:53:45] who actually have the money to steal from.

[00:53:48] Alina, we're not all Robin Hood.

[00:53:50] He obnoxiously checks the time on his cyber arm

[00:53:54] which pops up like big letters.

[00:53:57] Is this, am I going to be preached at?

[00:53:59] Is that the goal is here because if that's the case,

[00:54:03] I am ready to move along.

[00:54:05] Well, let's not be hasty here.

[00:54:07] She does raise a good point.

[00:54:09] If you have a corporation that what we steal is basically a rounding error,

[00:54:14] we can continue to take from plus latest tech,

[00:54:17] plus we heard a line of,

[00:54:19] you know, I know that you're looking into NanoLink

[00:54:22] and NanoLink is looking to potentially outfit some people with what we

[00:54:27] very rightly may be calling super soldiers

[00:54:32] and cyberware and potentially cyber brains.

[00:54:36] Sounds like something you guys would be interested in.

[00:54:39] I mean, certainly, but if we were willing to take on NanoLink,

[00:54:42] we would do it ourselves.

[00:54:44] Uh, out of our own organization,

[00:54:48] it wouldn't need any elaborate piece to do so.

[00:54:51] But if we come in,

[00:54:53] if you guys come in from the back door,

[00:54:54] know exactly what you're looking for

[00:54:56] and you work together with the Screaming Eagles

[00:54:59] to come in and use them as potential getaway drivers.

[00:55:03] I mean, it's a win-win.

[00:55:05] Mr. Black, I thought you were a professional.

[00:55:08] You understand that small teams can steal from corporations for a short amount of time.

[00:55:14] But you also understand, unless you've gotten into deep to the game,

[00:55:19] that the lives of your average anti-corporate criminal

[00:55:26] is extremely short and extremely brutal.

[00:55:32] Now, I respect Elena and I respect Wash.

[00:55:35] I see you over there and I respect you, Julian.

[00:55:39] And Banshee, you've been around a long time.

[00:55:42] But the word is out.

[00:55:44] You're on the clock, folks.

[00:55:48] You're on the clock.

[00:55:50] I don't think I'm going to get my gang entangled in your private war against Sygen.

[00:55:56] Um, and maybe Nana Lincoln,

[00:55:59] God knows how many others that Craig has roped you into.

[00:56:03] Uh, the corpse are coming for you.

[00:56:06] They have their war.

[00:56:08] They also have their suspicions about how that war started.

[00:56:10] You're not the only people with contacts.

[00:56:13] And I'm telling you right now, they are on the lookout for you.

[00:56:19] And if I attack them, now then they'll be on the lookout for me

[00:56:23] and the rest of my gang.

[00:56:26] And I don't see eye to eye with Mecha Mullen.

[00:56:31] But I think we could both agree that one of the things we're most supposed to do

[00:56:37] is look out for our members of our organization.

[00:56:40] Is that right, Mecha Mullen?

[00:56:42] Well, I mean, technically yes.

[00:56:46] It should be cool and awesome when we do stuff.

[00:56:50] And don't get me wrong, I'm going to blow these motherfuckers up just as much as you guys.

[00:56:54] Uh, I mean, I'd like to be able to come out with some rad shit

[00:56:58] instead of just, you know, a bunch of bullet holes

[00:57:02] and a serious case of lead poisoning.

[00:57:06] Okay, so you can join him.

[00:57:08] I'm sure that if you look really, really hard,

[00:57:11] you can find a baby to steal candy from.

[00:57:14] I mean, that is hilarious.

[00:57:15] Have you ever done it? It is hilarious.

[00:57:18] They cry a lot.

[00:57:20] And they like reach out with their little pudgy fists,

[00:57:22] but they can't get it because they're so huge and they're so tiny.

[00:57:26] Nobody else is like, I think it's funny.

[00:57:29] Let me just trick this fake out.

[00:57:32] Look here, yes, so they're after us. We know.

[00:57:34] Like we're...

[00:57:36] We're on our way out one way or another,

[00:57:38] but that doesn't mean that the melting pot has to be on its way out.

[00:57:42] You have an opportunity, gentlemen.

[00:57:43] This is the first time in our lif...

[00:57:46] Sorry, my chip's acting up.

[00:57:48] You understand.

[00:57:49] And then, you know...

[00:57:51] But basically, look, this is the first time in our lifetimes

[00:57:54] that this opportunity has happened.

[00:57:55] They're going to be... They're fighting amongst each other.

[00:57:58] So a decisive slice and we could cut the heads off of two snakes.

[00:58:03] And that's the only way...

[00:58:05] I'm just going to speak normal, Joe. I'm losing it.

[00:58:08] But look, if you cut the heads off,

[00:58:12] the only way to kill a snake really is to cut the head off.

[00:58:14] It's the...

[00:58:15] Don't think about the other way around.

[00:58:17] The only way to kill...

[00:58:18] To take out an empire is to take out the king.

[00:58:21] You have an opportunity.

[00:58:22] They're looking at us and they're looking at each other.

[00:58:27] They're not looking at third parties and all that.

[00:58:30] And you all have already been trying this.

[00:58:33] Like each one of you have been trying to gather up more turf

[00:58:39] with their absences, stuff like that.

[00:58:41] But I mean, this is just a tsunami.

[00:58:43] Like the way the water is receding,

[00:58:45] from the shoreline, it's going to come right back.

[00:58:47] And you're going to be in the same place that you were beforehand.

[00:58:50] Like what we're offering here is we get in there,

[00:58:53] we take these corporations out,

[00:58:55] we take over or you take over these corporations.

[00:58:59] You know, like you legitimize.

[00:59:01] This is what I was speaking about beforehand.

[00:59:03] We legitimize what you're doing.

[00:59:06] You're taking care of your people and you're getting filthy rich.

[00:59:11] You want the latest tech.

[00:59:13] You want the latest tech.

[00:59:15] You have it.

[00:59:16] You want the latest shooty, shooty bang bang kind of stuff.

[00:59:19] You have it.

[00:59:20] Like the only difference between you all and them is the bankroll that you got.

[00:59:25] And if they're busy with each other right now,

[00:59:28] you're never going to have another chance.

[00:59:30] You're going to remain in the same place that you were and you always were.

[00:59:35] And maybe I'm a bit of a Pollyanna on this here,

[00:59:40] but I think it should be like,

[00:59:43] do you all really want to keep this up?

[00:59:45] Like looking over your shoulder all the time.

[00:59:49] You don't think they're criminals?

[00:59:51] They're criminals,

[00:59:52] but they sleep well in nice places.

[00:59:55] Criminals, stuff like that.

[00:59:56] There's no difference between us and them,

[00:59:59] except for how they got we get to where we're going.

[01:00:04] So in closing,

[01:00:06] like, look, like you could, you can walk away totally understandable,

[01:00:12] or you could sit here and see you says once in your lifetime opportunity,

[01:00:17] put your differences aside,

[01:00:19] go for the big prize and change your destiny.

[01:00:25] Change your cruise destiny.

[01:00:27] So sorry guys.

[01:00:28] I kind of went into my roundabout rattle monologue.

[01:00:32] All right.

[01:00:33] Make a make a roll for it.

[01:00:35] We're going to get I'll give you two assists for Alaina's argument and Banshee's argument.

[01:00:41] They can we throw out the the pardons on the table too for an extra?

[01:00:46] Yeah, that'll give you an extra plus one.

[01:00:49] Now that will now the pardons.

[01:00:51] Here's what will happen with the pardons.

[01:00:53] You can use the pardons to get them to stop fighting each other,

[01:00:56] at least for truce.

[01:00:57] Any use of the pardons will get you a truce at minimum,

[01:01:01] but the pardons will not necessarily guarantee that they go to war against corporations.

[01:01:07] There's really there are two separate asks here.

[01:01:10] Peace between you two guys and then we all fight the corpse together.

[01:01:15] One of them is outside of your technical remit from the chameleon.

[01:01:19] He just wants them to stop fighting.

[01:01:22] So this is going to be a single roll.

[01:01:25] If you use the pardons, you know, you'll get to truce territory,

[01:01:29] but even on a fail,

[01:01:32] but they will definitely not have anything to do with you because they think

[01:01:37] what will happen on that fail is yeah, OK, they'll stop fighting each other,

[01:01:40] but they're just going to wait for you to die

[01:01:42] because that's what they expect and they're going to think you're crazy.

[01:01:46] Like you have some sort of crusade going on.

[01:01:48] You've been infected by Craig in some fashion or other,

[01:01:51] and they don't want any part of it.

[01:01:53] Like, yeah, of course, they're going to die.

[01:01:55] That's just part of the ecosystem that everybody lives in now.

[01:01:58] And this is not the way to get best advantage out of it.

[01:02:05] But if you succeed,

[01:02:07] they will agree to consider attacking the corporations provided you can give them a good plan.

[01:02:13] All right. So,

[01:02:14] at a bare minimum, we can burn the pardons and they just don't care.

[01:02:20] Right. And they will just stay out of your way

[01:02:23] and stick to their own territory as it stands right now

[01:02:28] until this corporate shit is resolved one way or another.

[01:02:31] OK. All right. Well, let's see how this roll goes.

[01:02:35] I've got plus two for them, plus one fast talks or plus one

[01:02:40] FaceTime. So that gives me a plus.

[01:02:42] Well, they give me an effective plus five starting.

[01:02:44] So pretty good. You got a pretty good chance.

[01:02:46] Don't roll. I mean, you're going to have a seven.

[01:02:49] You could roll a seven.

[01:02:51] We'll see. Eleven.

[01:02:53] All right. Full success.

[01:02:56] So look at the pardons.

[01:02:58] OK, let's say fellas, this is just a

[01:03:01] this is just a token of appreciation for us,

[01:03:03] for you all coming together to listen to our

[01:03:06] listen to our proposal.

[01:03:07] These are pardons granted to us by the great state of Seattle

[01:03:12] for anyone you want to sign the name on.

[01:03:16] You put it on there and they're scot free.

[01:03:19] So they take them, put them in their pocket.

[01:03:22] They say.

[01:03:24] Mecha Mollet and Golden Phoenix look at each other and they nod

[01:03:27] and Golden Phoenix says,

[01:03:29] We present a plan for this assault.

[01:03:33] We will consider it.

[01:03:35] We may want to make, I'm sure we will

[01:03:38] want to make alterations to that plan.

[01:03:41] But you have made a convincing argument

[01:03:44] that the corporations are going to be more open to assault

[01:03:48] and provide better benefits in an assault

[01:03:50] than the regular people.

[01:03:53] Well, that's one of the reasons that we're going to be

[01:03:55] meet on equal ground here.

[01:03:56] We we meet on the level.

[01:03:59] And I always wanted to pull up a casino

[01:04:02] and also a casino can go any time.

[01:04:05] But the whenever we come together with this plan,

[01:04:09] we will all be involved and we will all have our roles to play.

[01:04:12] Everyone knows or everyone at least suspects

[01:04:16] that we have hits out on us.

[01:04:19] At the very least, we can stand up and do our job.

[01:04:22] It's a good time for this to happen.

[01:04:25] So you hear several loud thumps

[01:04:30] and a sizzling noise from the ceiling.

[01:04:38] And then the ceiling melts away at literally a big,

[01:04:44] massive amount of heat.

[01:04:46] And that's the reason why we're going to be

[01:04:49] then the ceiling melts away.

[01:04:51] It literally a big flat of molten steel lands

[01:04:57] like 20 feet away from where you guys are sitting and splashes

[01:05:01] and it burns like some of the serving folks

[01:05:05] and they go down screaming.

[01:05:08] Doug, I love shooting you in a G and an accent

[01:05:12] goes down. He's he got nailed in the face yet.

[01:05:16] So you come up and you start just firing through the hole.

[01:05:20] Yes. OK, give me that role.

[01:05:23] It's going to be blind.

[01:05:25] All right. Mix it up.

[01:05:27] What's going to happen here?

[01:05:29] Choose to make too much noise.

[01:05:31] Advanced relevant mission clock.

[01:05:33] You take harm. Ally takes harm.

[01:05:35] Something of value breaks.

[01:05:37] I'll take the harm. OK.

[01:05:39] And I think that this is advancing the mission clock

[01:05:41] because timing.

[01:05:42] It absolutely is.

[01:05:46] So, yes, you squeeze a couple of shots off,

[01:05:49] hear somebody cry, they fall through the

[01:05:53] through the hole on the ground into the molten

[01:05:57] steel where it rapidly cooling but still hot

[01:06:00] and they roll off of it screaming.

[01:06:03] So you nailed one of them.

[01:06:05] There are several after that several grenades fall down

[01:06:09] and they begin smoking.

[01:06:12] This is clearly some sort of gas attack.

[01:06:17] What actions do people want to take?

[01:06:19] I guess we're we have an extraction.

[01:06:24] Well, we do, but we probably need to buy some time

[01:06:28] for our allies unless we're going to have a

[01:06:31] has stood and is screaming, fuck you motherfuckers

[01:06:34] over and over again as he just like fires to

[01:06:36] auto pistols up into the in the hole.

[01:06:40] The gas is like going up around the meanwhile,

[01:06:43] Golden Phoenix and Pire Pire has thrown a table

[01:06:47] over and stuck behind it.

[01:06:49] Golden Phoenix is making his way to the elevator.

[01:06:51] The two juggle the one remaining juggalo

[01:06:55] and the void clown are radioing for backup.

[01:07:00] You don't know what that means.

[01:07:03] I've got to point towards the elevator

[01:07:06] and get out.

[01:07:08] Elena cover.

[01:07:10] Yeah, I'm just basically yelling at like Pire

[01:07:13] Pire Phoenix, Mecca bad.

[01:07:16] Get out of here.

[01:07:18] All right.

[01:07:20] Yeah, give me a let's say fast talk

[01:07:23] talking to get it out of here.

[01:07:25] I'll give you a plus one for Elena

[01:07:28] and a plus one for the situation.

[01:07:31] OK.

[01:07:33] All right.

[01:07:34] Because I will do it.

[01:07:36] So they're going to make a mulligan pulled away

[01:07:39] by the bad lieutenant.

[01:07:41] Empire basically drags the table in front of them

[01:07:45] as he backs towards the elevator.

[01:07:48] Um, so

[01:07:52] this is S harm, which I have not used yet.

[01:07:56] And I want to look up the exact effects.

[01:07:59] So everybody's going to have to take harm

[01:08:02] from the smoke grenades, from this, whatever this gas is.

[01:08:08] So you have to roll to take harm.

[01:08:11] That happened a lot in this game.

[01:08:13] You guys have been pretty, pretty harm free.

[01:08:16] So I'm sorry.

[01:08:18] I mean, to be a D6.

[01:08:20] That's right.

[01:08:21] And we're not rolling a particular stat, just to these

[01:08:25] just to D6.

[01:08:26] You want to roll low on this.

[01:08:28] Is that the roll harm button on the on the ship?

[01:08:30] Sure is.

[01:08:31] I roll eight.

[01:08:33] Where's the roll harm button?

[01:08:35] Front underneath the clock, the harm clock.

[01:08:37] Oh, OK.

[01:08:39] An extra cred.

[01:08:40] I never hit it.

[01:08:41] I just rolled.

[01:08:42] I got eight.

[01:08:43] So I only got six.

[01:08:45] I only got seven notches.

[01:08:47] I keep it.

[01:08:48] Well, it tells you on the

[01:08:50] thing what happens when you take damage.

[01:08:53] Yeah.

[01:08:54] So I've got a minus two to that particular roll

[01:08:57] because of my dermal plating.

[01:08:58] This doesn't protect you against this.

[01:09:01] OK, so that four would actually be a six.

[01:09:03] Right.

[01:09:04] I mean, it still doesn't matter because it's a six.

[01:09:07] Alaina, you just automatically step out of the way

[01:09:10] of the of the gas like you find a corner to be in

[01:09:14] where you can still cover the hole.

[01:09:17] Julian, like one of the grenades just rolls

[01:09:20] like right next to your foot.

[01:09:21] Choose one of these.

[01:09:23] You're out of the action, unconscious, trapped, incoherent

[01:09:26] or panicked.

[01:09:27] You would be rendered unconscious.

[01:09:29] Take the full harm of the attack, which would be

[01:09:31] being rendered unconscious.

[01:09:34] Lose the use of a piece of cyberware until you can

[01:09:36] get it repaired or lose a body part.

[01:09:40] That would mean that either one of those would

[01:09:45] mean that you get rendered basically inebriated

[01:09:50] by the gas.

[01:09:51] You aren't going to be out yet, but you'll be

[01:09:53] out soon.

[01:09:54] For those who rolled seven through nine, you

[01:09:58] either lose your footing, lose your grip on

[01:10:00] what you're holding, lose track of someone

[01:10:02] or something you're attending to, or someone

[01:10:04] gets the drop on you.

[01:10:06] Losing your footing would be scrambling out

[01:10:08] of the way.

[01:10:09] Lose your grip on something you're holding

[01:10:11] would be like you cover your mouth instinctively.

[01:10:14] Lose track of someone means you get like a

[01:10:16] big gulp of it.

[01:10:18] If someone gets the drop on you, you kind of

[01:10:20] like turn away and then they can come down,

[01:10:23] maybe get shot by Elena, but they'll still

[01:10:25] be able to shoot you.

[01:10:27] Can I pitch something for my nine?

[01:10:30] Absolutely.

[01:10:31] Have you seen those videos of when people

[01:10:34] are being, have tear gas grenades shot at

[01:10:38] them and they will put like a traffic cone

[01:10:40] over the top of it and swirl a bottle of

[01:10:42] water and it neutralizes whatever is

[01:10:44] making the smoke?

[01:10:45] Yeah.

[01:10:46] Something like that, but with stuff you'd

[01:10:48] have at a conference, and I'm distracted

[01:10:50] trying to do that so people can get a

[01:10:52] look at it.

[01:10:53] But if, but that's why.

[01:10:55] Okay.

[01:10:56] No, that makes sense to me.

[01:10:58] Jeremy?

[01:10:59] I'm going to choose lose a piece of

[01:11:01] cyberware until you get it repaired.

[01:11:03] Like I'm blind.

[01:11:04] The only thing that has cyber is.

[01:11:06] The smoke just like it's bad for this

[01:11:08] brand of cyber eyes so they got to reset.

[01:11:11] As your eyes water, they're not supposed

[01:11:13] to do that.

[01:11:14] It's just supposed to be lubricant.

[01:11:16] Can you say something for me?

[01:11:18] What's that?

[01:11:19] My brand.

[01:11:20] My brand.

[01:11:25] You said one of them was like falling

[01:11:27] down or getting, or losing your footing

[01:11:29] or lose your footing.

[01:11:30] Yeah.

[01:11:31] Yeah.

[01:11:32] I'll go for that.

[01:11:33] All right.

[01:11:34] So I'm just going to say you trip

[01:11:35] over the table where the table cloth

[01:11:37] and like the spilled food as you're

[01:11:39] trying to get away from the smoke.

[01:11:41] So you will be prone.

[01:11:43] All right.

[01:11:44] So yeah, Elena, it's just you.

[01:11:46] I'm going to give them half a second

[01:11:48] to do right.

[01:11:49] And then as soon as they start poking

[01:11:51] their heads around the hole and or

[01:11:53] repelling down or whatever it is that

[01:11:55] they do to join in, I'm going to

[01:11:57] area spray and hit all of them.

[01:11:59] All right.

[01:12:00] You're going to you're going to

[01:12:02] suppress them.

[01:12:03] All right.

[01:12:04] Roll it.

[01:12:05] Nice.

[01:12:06] You achieve your objective.

[01:12:08] All right.

[01:12:09] Yeah.

[01:12:10] So you hit all of them.

[01:12:12] What what what is the harm on

[01:12:14] you?

[01:12:15] You hit all of them.

[01:12:16] What what what is the harm on your

[01:12:18] one miller?

[01:12:20] Six.

[01:12:21] Six.

[01:12:22] Savage.

[01:12:26] Yeah.

[01:12:27] So you blast a couple of guys and

[01:12:29] gals and non binary pals

[01:12:31] who are lurking around up there.

[01:12:33] It does not go good.

[01:12:35] You see one fall off.

[01:12:37] You hear them like kind of slide

[01:12:38] down the roof and fall past the

[01:12:40] windows bounce off the little track

[01:12:42] they have out on the outside.

[01:12:44] Then

[01:12:47] some lands from the hole.

[01:12:49] They waited till the steel solidified

[01:12:53] and it's fucking

[01:12:55] hundred K and he's wearing

[01:12:57] full military harness.

[01:12:59] I had that feeling.

[01:13:00] Yeah.

[01:13:02] He's like, hey, fellas,

[01:13:04] where the fuck is Craig at?

[01:13:06] I'm sorry.

[01:13:07] Who?

[01:13:08] Pulling pistols and just unloading

[01:13:09] into him.

[01:13:10] All right.

[01:13:13] OK, so what actions are everybody

[01:13:15] else going to take to?

[01:13:17] I'm going to say that watch.

[01:13:19] You probably do effectively neutralize

[01:13:21] one of the grenades.

[01:13:23] Yeah, I was going to say act under

[01:13:24] pressure with pyrotechnician to

[01:13:26] basically disable the rest of the

[01:13:28] grenades.

[01:13:29] Most of this is going to be act

[01:13:30] under pressure like force a hard

[01:13:32] reboot, get up off the ground

[01:13:34] and draw your pistol or whatever

[01:13:36] weapon you have, et cetera.

[01:13:38] Well, that's my play.

[01:13:40] Power technician to disable the

[01:13:42] remaining grenades, disable the

[01:13:43] remaining rates.

[01:13:44] Makes sense to me.

[01:13:46] All right, Banshee.

[01:13:48] It would also be act under

[01:13:50] pressure to like fire the

[01:13:52] harpoon gun for a quick escape.

[01:13:54] I need to probably ventilate this

[01:13:56] place first before

[01:13:58] we start staggering

[01:14:00] around trying to find the

[01:14:02] harpoon gun.

[01:14:03] So I was thinking about the car.

[01:14:06] I'm connected to it nearly.

[01:14:08] Yes.

[01:14:09] So I will just kind of, you know,

[01:14:11] pivot up and just start.

[01:14:13] I don't want to blow up watches

[01:14:15] explosions.

[01:14:16] So do you can?

[01:14:18] Well, they're shape charges.

[01:14:20] They shouldn't go off from random

[01:14:21] bullet fire mostly as long as you

[01:14:23] don't like unload directly into

[01:14:25] one.

[01:14:26] If you fail, then that would be

[01:14:28] bad.

[01:14:29] Yeah, it's all cyber C4.

[01:14:31] So it doesn't go off without the

[01:14:33] electrical charge.

[01:14:34] I mean, you might be you might

[01:14:35] disable a charge, but you won't

[01:14:37] blow them up.

[01:14:38] I think I probably ought to just do

[01:14:40] the harpoon gun on second thought.

[01:14:42] We need to go ahead and have it

[01:14:43] exit established.

[01:14:45] So I probably can't get up and do

[01:14:47] that at the same time or can I

[01:14:48] with my neural interface with the

[01:14:51] ship box?

[01:14:52] You can, but I'm going to give you

[01:14:53] a minus one on act under pressure

[01:14:55] for that.

[01:14:57] Eleven.

[01:14:58] Nice.

[01:14:59] All right.

[01:15:00] So you get up and you fire the

[01:15:02] harpoon gun.

[01:15:06] Yeah.

[01:15:07] So it fires exactly where you want

[01:15:09] it to land through the window into

[01:15:12] the roof spikes deploy.

[01:15:15] You've got a taunt line out.

[01:15:17] Julian, I'm basically just yelling

[01:15:20] as a guys I'm blind.

[01:15:22] I need I'm in need of assistance.

[01:15:24] Okay.

[01:15:25] Take no action.

[01:15:26] Well, I mean, I don't know

[01:15:28] where I'm at.

[01:15:29] I'm smoking my eyes quit working.

[01:15:31] I'll start making my way toward

[01:15:33] him if no one else is.

[01:15:34] I think David's got his hands full

[01:15:36] right now.

[01:15:37] So either me or Brownie can probably

[01:15:38] do that.

[01:15:39] Just whoever wants to.

[01:15:40] I think this round I'm finishing

[01:15:42] with those grenades.

[01:15:43] By the way, I rolled a 13 to

[01:15:46] disable.

[01:15:47] All right.

[01:15:48] Nice.

[01:15:49] Okay.

[01:15:50] So all right.

[01:15:51] Let's resolve that that shot.

[01:15:53] Elena can mix it up.

[01:15:55] Let's put many bullets in that

[01:15:57] trade is piece of shit.

[01:15:59] A bullet for him.

[01:16:01] It's okay.

[01:16:02] I took a bunch of bullets for you.

[01:16:04] All right.

[01:16:05] So what are the pistols?

[01:16:07] What's their harm?

[01:16:08] Also six.

[01:16:10] Any AP on that?

[01:16:12] Um, they are three harm near far

[01:16:18] loud auto fire in linked.

[01:16:20] So no AP.

[01:16:22] No armor piercing.

[01:16:23] Okay.

[01:16:24] So yeah, most of them ping off.

[01:16:28] He gets nicked like the shoulders.

[01:16:31] Fuck.

[01:16:32] Come on, Elena.

[01:16:33] Just I just need to know where Craig is.

[01:16:35] You guys are just collateral.

[01:16:37] That is probably the most insulting

[01:16:40] thing that you have said to be in the

[01:16:41] right.

[01:16:42] Well, I guess I have to do this now

[01:16:43] then.

[01:16:44] So he pulls out a grenade launcher.

[01:16:47] That fucking wrath.

[01:16:49] When he's pulling grenade launcher,

[01:16:51] I am closing and switching weapons.

[01:16:53] Okay.

[01:16:54] Got to be awful hard for him to

[01:16:56] fire that grenade launcher with my

[01:16:58] sword in his arm.

[01:16:59] I mean, it will be all right.

[01:17:02] Don't fail.

[01:17:05] Other actions.

[01:17:06] Anybody else going to do anything?

[01:17:08] I'm just like, I'm yelling and I'm

[01:17:09] yelling into the comms.

[01:17:10] Like where are you?

[01:17:11] Like tell me which way to move.

[01:17:14] We're in a crowd.

[01:17:15] We're in two.

[01:17:16] Okay.

[01:17:17] You got to guide them out.

[01:17:18] Yeah.

[01:17:19] So two quick things.

[01:17:20] Are we going to try to wave our

[01:17:22] allies towards the zip line to get

[01:17:24] them out as well?

[01:17:26] They're already in the elevator

[01:17:27] going down.

[01:17:28] All right.

[01:17:29] Since that was the goal.

[01:17:31] Well, if I have a chance to

[01:17:33] operate this turn based on what I

[01:17:36] was doing last time disabling the

[01:17:38] grenades, can I just toss a couple

[01:17:40] of grenades kind of on the other

[01:17:42] side of was it 10 K?

[01:17:45] 100 K.

[01:17:46] 100 K.

[01:17:47] 100 K.

[01:17:48] Thompson.

[01:17:49] Oh, that's right.

[01:17:50] Yeah.

[01:17:51] So I have grenades.

[01:17:52] Can I toss them on the other side

[01:17:53] of 100 K Thompson for myself?

[01:17:56] Yeah, that's going to be mix it up.

[01:18:00] You will not get the advantage of

[01:18:01] your cyber arm, but you will get

[01:18:02] the advantage of pyrotechnics.

[01:18:04] Well, let's give this a try.

[01:18:06] Let's call it two.

[01:18:08] That's a 12.

[01:18:09] Nice.

[01:18:10] So he's been stabbed and blown

[01:18:12] up and shot.

[01:18:14] I mean, he's going to have an

[01:18:15] opportunity to strike back here.

[01:18:18] Really all the grenades are doing

[01:18:19] is pushing him closer to Elena's

[01:18:21] sword.

[01:18:22] Right.

[01:18:23] Yeah.

[01:18:24] So he takes some frag damage to

[01:18:25] the back.

[01:18:26] Not a ton.

[01:18:27] Elena, you slice into him.

[01:18:30] Give me a description.

[01:18:32] Well, basically I'm not aiming

[01:18:33] into him as much as I'm trying

[01:18:35] to take that grenade launcher

[01:18:37] hand off.

[01:18:38] Yeah.

[01:18:39] OK.

[01:18:40] Like I'm going to take his hand.

[01:18:41] What's the I need to know the

[01:18:42] damage on the sword to damage

[01:18:44] on the sword is only a five.

[01:18:47] It's a sharp sword.

[01:18:48] OK.

[01:18:49] I get to it.

[01:18:52] Part of it is reasonably sharp

[01:18:54] sword.

[01:18:55] And part of it is that I've got

[01:18:56] muscle grafts.

[01:18:57] All right.

[01:18:58] You swing real hard.

[01:19:00] I swing real hard.

[01:19:02] You chop harder than you shoot.

[01:19:06] All right.

[01:19:07] So yeah, so you catch him in

[01:19:10] the hand.

[01:19:11] It cuts through the army takes

[01:19:12] to to harm.

[01:19:13] The hand is not off, but he

[01:19:15] drops a grenade launcher.

[01:19:16] It fires in a random direction.

[01:19:19] That random direction is

[01:19:20] unfortunately at the harpoon

[01:19:24] line.

[01:19:25] It hits it blows up.

[01:19:28] There is now no longer a line

[01:19:29] out.

[01:19:30] 100 K is still there and he is

[01:19:32] angry.

[01:19:34] It's just a job.

[01:19:35] You guys are supposed to be

[01:19:36] fucking professionals.

[01:19:38] Fucking do it then.

[01:19:40] There is nothing professional

[01:19:42] about going after your former

[01:19:44] allies.

[01:19:45] If somebody had told me that

[01:19:47] they had the job to take out

[01:19:48] you, I would have told them to

[01:19:50] go fuck themselves.

[01:19:51] But you put money over

[01:19:54] friendship and that's why you

[01:19:56] must die.

[01:19:57] All right.

[01:19:58] Elena, you're going to get

[01:19:59] shot by a sniper.

[01:20:01] I figured.

[01:20:02] Yeah.

[01:20:03] So roll harm.

[01:20:06] Your armors too, right?

[01:20:08] It is.

[01:20:09] That's gonna hurt.

[01:20:10] I thought you had like six

[01:20:12] armor or something.

[01:20:13] Well, I've got the

[01:20:16] dermal plating, which allows

[01:20:19] me to subtract two from my

[01:20:22] roll unless it's flushet, in

[01:20:24] which case I subtract three

[01:20:25] from my roll.

[01:20:26] And then I do have body armor,

[01:20:28] which is an armor of two.

[01:20:30] So four.

[01:20:33] So you will be effective.

[01:20:34] Well, yeah, it subtracts two

[01:20:36] from the roll for the actual

[01:20:38] taking of harm and the armor

[01:20:40] subtracts from the harm.

[01:20:41] OK, right.

[01:20:42] All right.

[01:20:43] So those are two different

[01:20:44] things.

[01:20:45] All right.

[01:20:46] So you're going to take four

[01:20:48] harm as you get shot in the

[01:20:50] back appropriately and you

[01:20:54] get to choose one of these.

[01:20:56] You lose your footing, lose

[01:20:57] your grip on what you're

[01:20:58] holding, lose track of

[01:20:59] someone or something you're

[01:21:00] attending to or someone gets

[01:21:02] the drop on you.

[01:21:03] OK, so that was lose my

[01:21:05] grip on what I'm holding?

[01:21:06] Or lose your footing or lose

[01:21:09] track of someone or

[01:21:10] something you're attending to

[01:21:12] where someone gets the drop

[01:21:14] on you.

[01:21:15] I will gladly lose grip on

[01:21:17] what I'm holding.

[01:21:18] That sword is sort of sharp

[01:21:20] ish, but it's not nearly as

[01:21:22] great as any of the other

[01:21:23] weapons.

[01:21:24] Right? Yeah.

[01:21:25] Fair.

[01:21:26] All right.

[01:21:27] So you drop the short sword

[01:21:29] as you get shot through

[01:21:30] the back.

[01:21:31] It blows through,

[01:21:33] but you've got enough armor

[01:21:34] that it's not going to blow

[01:21:35] through you and, you know,

[01:21:37] do anything to 100K.

[01:21:41] OK, cool.

[01:21:42] What's everybody else doing?

[01:21:44] Was there any any extra

[01:21:46] elevators or anything like that?

[01:21:48] There was just I mean,

[01:21:49] there's a whole bank of

[01:21:50] elevators.

[01:21:51] All right.

[01:21:52] There's three of them,

[01:21:53] one on each side.

[01:21:54] Yeah.

[01:21:55] It's anything like the

[01:21:56] actual space needle one.

[01:21:59] I got a quick question.

[01:22:00] Sure.

[01:22:01] Can my car automatically

[01:22:03] like is it just a one and

[01:22:05] done harpoon gun or can it

[01:22:07] reload and fire second

[01:22:09] one?

[01:22:10] Like if you're going to get

[01:22:11] a fancy harpoon gun

[01:22:12] for your car, it's got it could

[01:22:13] fire more than one bolt.

[01:22:15] OK, probably only like

[01:22:16] three though.

[01:22:17] All right.

[01:22:18] So I will go ahead

[01:22:19] and try to fire another one.

[01:22:21] OK.

[01:22:22] All right.

[01:22:23] So I did as I was

[01:22:24] reading this, it does say

[01:22:26] when you act under pressure,

[01:22:28] real plus cool.

[01:22:29] Well, since I'm using

[01:22:30] the neural interface

[01:22:31] plus the car's power.

[01:22:32] So let's see.

[01:22:34] Let me look at my car's

[01:22:35] power.

[01:22:36] I knew there was something

[01:22:37] I was looking up.

[01:22:38] So that would be a plus

[01:22:40] four for that.

[01:22:42] I hate how I had to actually

[01:22:44] go back over and like plug

[01:22:46] in that number.

[01:22:47] I don't know.

[01:22:48] It just always mess with me.

[01:22:49] Eleven again.

[01:22:50] About is very unintuitive.

[01:22:52] All right.

[01:22:53] Yeah.

[01:22:54] So boom, right next

[01:22:55] to the first one.

[01:22:56] Perfect aim.

[01:22:57] And I was previously

[01:22:59] trying to get.

[01:23:01] I mean, unless you want

[01:23:02] to shoot 100 K with that

[01:23:03] harpoon, that would be funny.

[01:23:04] That would be hilarious.

[01:23:06] You know what?

[01:23:07] Are you glad?

[01:23:08] I can write out of the room.

[01:23:09] You want to keep

[01:23:10] straight out the room?

[01:23:13] Get over here.

[01:23:15] Yeah.

[01:23:16] So I mean, we at least

[01:23:17] remove that threat then.

[01:23:18] So it's like you say,

[01:23:20] if I may narrate,

[01:23:21] tell me if I'm doing wrong.

[01:23:22] So he's holding his wrist.

[01:23:25] Here's a glass break

[01:23:27] for one quick second

[01:23:28] and then shoot right through

[01:23:30] his chest and then shocked

[01:23:32] look on his face and then

[01:23:33] it just retracts.

[01:23:34] Yeah.

[01:23:35] I'm going to say Alainic

[01:23:36] sort of staggered from

[01:23:37] staggered just past him

[01:23:39] as she was shot and then he gets

[01:23:40] blasted with the harpoon

[01:23:43] and then the car takes off

[01:23:45] and he gets yanked out of the window.

[01:23:50] It is pretty safe to say

[01:23:51] that 100 K is dead.

[01:23:52] It's a long fall.

[01:23:54] And he's getting road hauled.

[01:23:57] Yeah, he's going to get

[01:23:58] crushed into another building

[01:24:00] bounce all around

[01:24:02] and just for him to fall

[01:24:03] straight down, all you have

[01:24:04] to do is hit the brakes.

[01:24:05] So I got that.

[01:24:07] Our getaway is just going to be delayed,

[01:24:09] but he seemed like the

[01:24:10] biggest threat in the room.

[01:24:13] Uh, OK, Julian,

[01:24:14] what are you going to do?

[01:24:16] You're still up.

[01:24:17] No one has helped you

[01:24:18] with your cyber eyes.

[01:24:19] I'm trying to stagger to where I thought

[01:24:21] or I think either a bank of

[01:24:22] elevators were or where we had

[01:24:24] a pre-arranged something.

[01:24:26] Because if he was firing

[01:24:27] from the car with his

[01:24:28] neural length,

[01:24:29] if he's still helping me,

[01:24:30] then yeah, then I'm basically

[01:24:33] using Banshee as a C&I dog.

[01:24:35] OK, so you've been

[01:24:37] guided to the elevator.

[01:24:39] Watch.

[01:24:41] Could I use my neural interface

[01:24:44] on Julie with Julian

[01:24:46] to give him vision

[01:24:47] through my eyes

[01:24:48] so he at least has something?

[01:24:50] Yeah, you could jack into his

[01:24:51] cyber eyes.

[01:24:52] That's a thing.

[01:24:53] Well, I'll go over there

[01:24:54] and be the other side of the

[01:24:56] the carry for him

[01:24:58] and try to give him some vision

[01:25:00] so we can see what's going on.

[01:25:01] Where's that piece of shit?

[01:25:02] Where'd he go?

[01:25:03] I heard a smash and then

[01:25:04] I heard something fall.

[01:25:05] Where did that little piece

[01:25:06] of shit go?

[01:25:07] Is he dead?

[01:25:08] I'll replay the site of it

[01:25:10] through the video feed

[01:25:11] that I'm sending him.

[01:25:12] Oh, good.

[01:25:13] Remind me to piss

[01:25:14] on his grave later.

[01:25:15] That piece, that traitor's

[01:25:16] piece of shit.

[01:25:18] He's not going to have a grave.

[01:25:20] Also get in the elevator fast.

[01:25:22] There is sniper.

[01:25:24] Come on, Elena, we got to go.

[01:25:25] Let's get moving.

[01:25:26] This place can kind of

[01:25:27] can tumble once we're done.

[01:25:28] OK, so I'm going to

[01:25:29] need to move under pressure

[01:25:30] from everybody unless

[01:25:31] Elena is going to try

[01:25:32] and shoot back.

[01:25:33] This is an extreme range.

[01:25:35] Oh, I'm shooting back.

[01:25:36] OK.

[01:25:38] I am going to cover for my team.

[01:25:41] OK.

[01:25:42] Because I get experience

[01:25:44] for putting myself in harm's way.

[01:25:46] So yeah, sure do.

[01:25:48] May not be able to do

[01:25:49] some damage with that,

[01:25:50] but I'm hopefully going

[01:25:51] to suppress that person.

[01:25:52] Like they'll duck as oh, shit bullets.

[01:25:55] Right.

[01:25:56] So I'm going to try to

[01:25:57] suppress that person.

[01:25:58] All right, give me mix it up

[01:26:00] for suppression.

[01:26:02] All right.

[01:26:03] Yeah.

[01:26:04] So you successfully suppress

[01:26:07] any further shots.

[01:26:09] Everybody else piles into the elevator.

[01:26:11] You will be up here by yourself.

[01:26:13] They are on their way down.

[01:26:15] Banshee, this would probably

[01:26:16] be a good time to bring

[01:26:17] the car back around

[01:26:19] because you're going to want

[01:26:20] eyes outside to see if there's

[01:26:22] anybody out there waiting for you.

[01:26:24] OK, so just, you know,

[01:26:26] locks up, E-brake,

[01:26:28] S-end slings around,

[01:26:29] corpse slams into building,

[01:26:33] releases a rope and then,

[01:26:37] you know, rushing back.

[01:26:38] So do I need to drive to get back?

[01:26:40] Yes, you're going to need

[01:26:41] to drive to get back.

[01:26:43] We have an intel just

[01:26:45] hanging out there too.

[01:26:46] Sure do.

[01:26:47] If we need a basically a clear path,

[01:26:50] like a covered path,

[01:26:51] because we know that there's at least

[01:26:53] one sniper shooting it.

[01:26:54] Yeah, and you guys should have been

[01:26:56] able to identify the general direction

[01:26:58] of the sniper.

[01:26:59] Yeah.

[01:27:00] So it's I say we burn that

[01:27:02] and then we know exactly where

[01:27:04] to park the car and I can we can

[01:27:05] relay it to Elena so she knows

[01:27:07] where to extract.

[01:27:08] That is the way to do it.

[01:27:11] Or I could get the car back

[01:27:13] and Elena can repel down

[01:27:15] or, you know, zip line down too.

[01:27:18] I mean, you would rather.

[01:27:20] Well, I mean, we just we need

[01:27:22] the intel is going to be for us

[01:27:24] having a covered spot to wait while

[01:27:26] the car does whatever it needs to do.

[01:27:28] Well, it needs to be down there

[01:27:30] to do eyes on the ground in case

[01:27:31] of ground people that think

[01:27:33] that's kind of what Joe was

[01:27:34] talking about there.

[01:27:35] So I mean, we can we can hold

[01:27:37] that intel for our getaway

[01:27:40] grand escape.

[01:27:41] We get everybody back.

[01:27:42] So get to garage.

[01:27:44] I am taking the stairs.

[01:27:46] Fill me out momentarily.

[01:27:48] OK, drive check, by the way,

[01:27:50] Joe, here we go.

[01:27:52] Twelve.

[01:27:53] OK, the sniper also attempts

[01:27:56] to take a couple of pot shots

[01:27:57] at the at the shit box,

[01:27:59] but they miss.

[01:28:01] So yeah, you come down

[01:28:03] in the elevators.

[01:28:04] You're in that sort of glass

[01:28:07] floor area.

[01:28:08] Not a lot of cover.

[01:28:11] And you make yourself

[01:28:13] you can get to the correct

[01:28:14] location, pull the ship

[01:28:15] box around with the.

[01:28:17] Now, as the ship box is

[01:28:19] coming into the garage,

[01:28:20] you do notice that there is a team

[01:28:22] down here in the garage

[01:28:24] waiting for you.

[01:28:26] So the ship box pulls

[01:28:27] around that corner

[01:28:28] and starts going down its ramp.

[01:28:30] It receives a ton of fire.

[01:28:32] You can try and drive through

[01:28:38] the fire to get to where the

[01:28:40] you are going to exit

[01:28:43] the into into the garage.

[01:28:46] Or you can take the ship

[01:28:50] take the ship box away.

[01:28:51] If you drive through the fire,

[01:28:54] the ship box is going

[01:28:55] to receive some damage.

[01:28:58] You know, it will not be at top

[01:29:00] in top spec because they are also

[01:29:03] using armor piercing weapons here.

[01:29:05] Like they're not fucking around,

[01:29:06] whoever these clowns are.

[01:29:08] No grenades yet,

[01:29:09] but they could have.

[01:29:11] I mean, I mean, there is

[01:29:13] there are assault rifles,

[01:29:15] I believe, attached

[01:29:16] to the ship box.

[01:29:17] Yeah, you could fight them with it.

[01:29:19] Yeah, that'll work.

[01:29:20] But again, it's your I'm going to tell you

[01:29:23] right now if you fight them with it,

[01:29:25] it's going to take damage.

[01:29:26] Yeah, I see how much damage

[01:29:28] does the ship box got?

[01:29:30] Ship box would have two armor.

[01:29:35] And you know, if I actually

[01:29:38] there's a move I have in my playbook

[01:29:40] here, which is Daredevil.

[01:29:42] When you drive straight into danger

[01:29:44] without hedging your bets,

[01:29:45] you get a plus one armor.

[01:29:47] If you take one or more harm,

[01:29:49] Mark experience.

[01:29:51] So yeah, so I mean, it's a good challenge.

[01:29:55] So I'm going to try to kind of run them.

[01:29:57] Are they just standing there

[01:29:58] like dipshits and I can just like

[01:30:00] hammer on the gas and just know

[01:30:02] they're there are duct behind cars

[01:30:04] and columns and stuff.

[01:30:05] But like if you put if you punch

[01:30:07] the gas and you will definitely

[01:30:09] be able to crash into a car that

[01:30:11] will then run over the guy who is

[01:30:13] standing behind that car or duct

[01:30:15] in that car.

[01:30:16] I hate to do it, but I'm going to do that.

[01:30:18] So it's up to you if you want it

[01:30:20] to speed off and then get a lane

[01:30:21] and we can find a different way out.

[01:30:23] And that's just we're all we're

[01:30:25] all in this together.

[01:30:27] So I'm going to go at do we row

[01:30:29] for damage too?

[01:30:30] Because I mean, I'm going to go

[01:30:31] ahead and do my car row right now.

[01:30:32] Yeah, I don't know.

[01:30:35] We'll just say the car does for

[01:30:37] it.

[01:30:39] I wrote a whole team.

[01:30:41] Damn.

[01:30:42] All right.

[01:30:43] All right.

[01:30:44] I'm going to say the car your car

[01:30:45] doesn't take any damage from the crash.

[01:30:47] It's going to take some from the

[01:30:48] bullets that take two harm from

[01:30:50] the bullets.

[01:30:52] So your car has the same track as

[01:30:53] a human being.

[01:30:55] And I got three armor does that

[01:30:57] you just want to say I just take

[01:30:58] two harm anyway.

[01:30:59] It's going to take two harm

[01:31:00] anyway.

[01:31:01] I've counted the armor in.

[01:31:03] OK, I'm trying to see where I

[01:31:04] actually put my health for my car.

[01:31:06] I've never actually took damage.

[01:31:08] I don't think or yeah, I have.

[01:31:10] But oh well, we'll figure it out

[01:31:11] later.

[01:31:12] Right.

[01:31:13] So that will put the car at

[01:31:16] eighteen hundred.

[01:31:17] Right.

[01:31:18] So next, you guys.

[01:31:21] So the car does that.

[01:31:23] You are not in a position to

[01:31:24] make a run for it.

[01:31:25] I mean, you could, but you're

[01:31:27] going to get hurt.

[01:31:28] What actions do you want to

[01:31:29] take, if any?

[01:31:31] I want to get to the stairs

[01:31:34] and take the stairs down like

[01:31:36] flip a table up, duck down low

[01:31:38] and then yeah, use cover.

[01:31:41] Use cover and get to the stairs.

[01:31:43] That is going to be act under

[01:31:44] pressure.

[01:31:45] You stumble, hesitate or flinch.

[01:31:49] I will offer you a worst outcome

[01:31:51] hard bargain or ugly choice.

[01:31:54] I'm going to offer you an

[01:31:55] ugly choice.

[01:31:56] I think it's a pretty

[01:31:57] insignificant piece of gear for

[01:31:58] you to have a scope.

[01:32:00] I will give you an opportunity

[01:32:01] to get a sight on whoever is

[01:32:03] shooting you.

[01:32:04] You're not going to be able to

[01:32:05] successfully shoot them back

[01:32:06] from here.

[01:32:07] Just the windage and Ludmila's

[01:32:10] range is not far enough.

[01:32:13] But you could see who they are.

[01:32:15] If you do that, I'm going to

[01:32:17] shoot you another time.

[01:32:18] You're going to roll damage.

[01:32:19] You know, you're going to

[01:32:20] roll harm again and I'm going

[01:32:21] to do more damage to you

[01:32:22] or you can get down the

[01:32:23] stair.

[01:32:24] You know, I think I'm going to

[01:32:26] take that hit because I at

[01:32:27] least want to know who it is

[01:32:28] shooting so I know who to

[01:32:30] shoot later.

[01:32:31] I thought you would.

[01:32:34] All right, roll harm.

[01:32:36] Roll low.

[01:32:38] Nice.

[01:32:39] All right, so you're going to

[01:32:40] take this shot.

[01:32:43] Just get winged because the

[01:32:44] table is sort of in the way and

[01:32:46] you just sort of peek up over

[01:32:47] it and you get shot in the

[01:32:49] shoulder.

[01:32:51] The sniper is poor, used to be

[01:32:57] inexperienced Lexi.

[01:33:00] So you could take two harm

[01:33:01] for there.

[01:33:02] I think you're pretty,

[01:33:03] Elena's taking a lot of

[01:33:04] damage at this point.

[01:33:06] In fact, you might be passed

[01:33:07] out if you take, yeah, you

[01:33:08] took four right off the bat

[01:33:10] and then two more.

[01:33:11] That's going to put you

[01:33:12] down.

[01:33:13] But let me check the harm

[01:33:14] rules.

[01:33:15] I do believe that my armor

[01:33:17] will absorb two.

[01:33:19] Yeah, it's the reason like

[01:33:22] you're taking the two is

[01:33:23] after accounting for the

[01:33:27] armor.

[01:33:28] It's AP.

[01:33:30] They knew you were going to

[01:33:31] be up here, Elena.

[01:33:32] I think she said 2300.

[01:33:35] All right, well, that would

[01:33:36] be okay.

[01:33:37] You said it was four first

[01:33:38] and then two additional.

[01:33:39] Yeah, yeah, that would like

[01:33:41] we got one.

[01:33:42] Okay, so you need to you

[01:33:43] need the attention of a

[01:33:44] trained medical professional.

[01:33:45] You don't need an ambulance

[01:33:46] right fucking now.

[01:33:48] So you're going to be

[01:33:49] bleeding out as you travel

[01:33:50] down, but you will still be

[01:33:51] alive when you get to the

[01:33:54] bottom.

[01:33:55] But don't get hit again

[01:33:56] because that would be very

[01:33:57] bad.

[01:33:58] All right.

[01:33:59] There is no one in the

[01:34:00] stairwell.

[01:34:01] It's just going to take you

[01:34:02] a while to get down.

[01:34:03] Probably like 20 minutes.

[01:34:05] It's a long way down.

[01:34:06] You're going to climb.

[01:34:07] Go down this whole fucking

[01:34:08] space needle building.

[01:34:10] All right.

[01:34:11] At the bottom, what is your

[01:34:13] move?

[01:34:14] What do people want to do

[01:34:16] doing this to see if we

[01:34:17] can find a quick way out?

[01:34:19] I think that's a good idea.

[01:34:21] The distraction of the top

[01:34:22] of the building blowing up

[01:34:23] with the detonation may be

[01:34:26] help.

[01:34:27] Yeah, that may be distract

[01:34:29] create enough a diversion

[01:34:30] where we could get the

[01:34:32] fuck out to the car at

[01:34:33] least.

[01:34:34] Well, so long as Elena in

[01:34:36] the elevator is below, you

[01:34:37] know, the level that it's

[01:34:39] going to snap off.

[01:34:40] She's in a stairway, I

[01:34:42] think.

[01:34:43] Yeah, that's right.

[01:34:44] Say, y'all, Elena, Elena

[01:34:46] sound off where you at.

[01:34:47] We're fixing to make a

[01:34:49] big, make a big boom.

[01:34:51] I am currently in stairway

[01:34:54] with bullet holes.

[01:34:55] Um, I wish I could...

[01:34:58] What floor?

[01:34:59] Yeah, what floor?

[01:35:00] There are two floors to

[01:35:02] Space Needle.

[01:35:03] There is either an

[01:35:04] observation deck or ground.

[01:35:06] Other than that, is long

[01:35:08] stairway between.

[01:35:10] It's still got labels.

[01:35:12] She's probably like going

[01:35:14] pretty fast.

[01:35:16] She's probably like, I

[01:35:17] don't know, 50 feet down

[01:35:19] right, right just past like

[01:35:20] the thin neck point.

[01:35:22] Let's let her get a

[01:35:24] couple of quote unquote

[01:35:26] floors between her and the

[01:35:28] explosion point and we can

[01:35:29] finish the distraction.

[01:35:31] I see at least somewhat

[01:35:32] since he jacked into my eyes.

[01:35:34] Uh, yeah, I'm going to

[01:35:35] give you a minus one for

[01:35:36] assess because you're using

[01:35:38] somebody else's vision.

[01:35:39] That's not, you know,

[01:35:41] exactly the way your brain

[01:35:42] was designed to work, but

[01:35:43] you could still do it.

[01:35:44] Give me that assess roll.

[01:35:46] That's a 12 even with a

[01:35:48] negative one.

[01:35:49] God damn well, there's a

[01:35:50] good time for these good

[01:35:51] rolls to come in.

[01:35:52] Yeah, no shit.

[01:35:53] Game three hold.

[01:35:54] You can ask your three

[01:35:55] questions.

[01:35:56] What potential

[01:35:58] complication do I need to

[01:35:59] be wary of?

[01:36:00] What do I notice despite

[01:36:01] an effort to conceal it?

[01:36:02] How is blank vulnerable to

[01:36:04] me?

[01:36:05] How can I avoid trouble or

[01:36:06] hide?

[01:36:07] What is my best way in out

[01:36:08] past?

[01:36:09] Where can I gain the most

[01:36:10] advantage?

[01:36:11] Who or what is my biggest

[01:36:12] threat in this situation?

[01:36:14] Who or what is in control

[01:36:15] here?

[01:36:16] Um, uh, how can I avoid

[01:36:18] how can how can I avoid

[01:36:19] trouble or hide here?

[01:36:21] Okay.

[01:36:22] Um, I'm going to ask you

[01:36:24] to answer this question

[01:36:26] here.

[01:36:27] Okay.

[01:36:28] Um, so a quick look around

[01:36:31] through brownies or I should

[01:36:32] say watch his eyes.

[01:36:34] Uh, quick watch.

[01:36:36] Look over to the left.

[01:36:37] Um, yeah, you see there is

[01:36:41] sort of a snaking path from

[01:36:44] the entrance to the garage

[01:36:46] to where the ship box is

[01:36:49] parked currently.

[01:36:50] Um, alternatively, there's

[01:36:53] another snaking path that

[01:36:54] is out of the garage.

[01:36:55] There's a two emergency

[01:36:57] exits on either side, but

[01:36:58] the one on the left has got

[01:36:59] a lot of cover and you

[01:37:01] should be able to make it

[01:37:02] as long as you, you know,

[01:37:03] don't fuck up Royal.

[01:37:05] What's the best way past?

[01:37:07] It depends on what your

[01:37:10] egress situation is.

[01:37:11] Your best way past is to

[01:37:12] pile into the car and

[01:37:14] bounce.

[01:37:15] I mean like what's what's

[01:37:16] the best way?

[01:37:17] I guess what's the best way

[01:37:18] past all the all the

[01:37:21] cyber ninjas that we're

[01:37:22] going up against to make

[01:37:23] it over to the, uh,

[01:37:24] so the best way past them

[01:37:26] would be, uh, yeah, take

[01:37:31] the car, spin it.

[01:37:32] So the garage in this

[01:37:36] version is a similar sort

[01:37:39] of sell cylinder that the

[01:37:41] space needle is.

[01:37:42] So it's about the same

[01:37:43] size as the big top

[01:37:45] spaceship looking part.

[01:37:47] Um, the ship box and

[01:37:49] weave through the parked

[01:37:51] cars because you know

[01:37:52] they're spaced very oddly

[01:37:53] and avoid a lot of damage.

[01:37:55] Come circle around behind

[01:37:56] your entrance and then

[01:37:58] pull around front.

[01:38:00] Uh, and if you do that,

[01:38:02] you'll be able to get in

[01:38:03] the car and then just go

[01:38:05] in reverse and get out

[01:38:06] and the car won't take any

[01:38:07] damage, which means you

[01:38:08] guys won't get successfully

[01:38:09] shot again, assuming that

[01:38:11] Banshee doesn't lose

[01:38:12] control.

[01:38:13] Yeah.

[01:38:14] Uh, I'm willing to try

[01:38:17] it.

[01:38:18] One more question.

[01:38:19] Where can we gain the

[01:38:20] most advantage?

[01:38:21] Cause we got to try and

[01:38:22] get Elena out and she's

[01:38:23] currently bleeding out.

[01:38:24] Uh, offer, can I throw

[01:38:26] something out there and

[01:38:27] you shut it down?

[01:38:28] Yeah.

[01:38:29] Advantage last harpoon

[01:38:32] in the door, drive off,

[01:38:34] leaving rope, lane, it

[01:38:36] grabs door handle, hit

[01:38:38] gas.

[01:38:39] If Elena, we don't kill

[01:38:41] Elena.

[01:38:42] She serves on a door

[01:38:43] out of the parking

[01:38:44] garage.

[01:38:45] It's a car speeds away.

[01:38:46] I'm going to do the

[01:38:47] last act of Titanic and

[01:38:48] motorbike.

[01:38:49] Yeah.

[01:38:50] I mean, Joe, you can say

[01:38:52] no or no, that's fine.

[01:38:54] That's going to be an act

[01:38:55] under pressure role for

[01:38:57] not for firing at the

[01:38:58] door.

[01:38:59] That'll be super easy.

[01:39:00] Uh, you're both going

[01:39:02] to have to succeed for

[01:39:03] Elena not to get flipped

[01:39:04] over and, you know,

[01:39:07] road hall, road hall.

[01:39:09] And like that would be

[01:39:11] bad at this point.

[01:39:12] Uh, you know, in, in

[01:39:15] other iterations of the

[01:39:16] game, it would just be

[01:39:17] funny, but at this point

[01:39:18] it would be bad armor

[01:39:20] will still protect her.

[01:39:21] So she would be able to

[01:39:23] she wouldn't get like

[01:39:24] smushed immediately or,

[01:39:26] you know, ground down

[01:39:28] into, uh, meat

[01:39:31] instantaneously.

[01:39:32] She'd have an

[01:39:33] opportunity to like

[01:39:34] get out from under the

[01:39:35] door and climb along

[01:39:36] the rope to the car.

[01:39:38] But like that armor

[01:39:40] would get shredded by

[01:39:41] that action.

[01:39:42] And then anything else

[01:39:43] that goes wrong,

[01:39:44] like, you know,

[01:39:45] and then anything else

[01:39:46] that goes wrong,

[01:39:47] she would get hurt.

[01:39:48] David, we, that sounds

[01:39:50] like a lot of risk right

[01:39:51] there. I don't want to

[01:39:52] kill you.

[01:39:53] Hey, if I die now,

[01:39:55] I've had a good run.

[01:39:56] Let's do it.

[01:39:57] Okay.

[01:39:58] And that's a crit.

[01:40:00] All right.

[01:40:01] Nice.

[01:40:02] No, yeah, that's,

[01:40:03] that's crit.

[01:40:04] Like that's going to

[01:40:05] make it work.

[01:40:06] You do it.

[01:40:07] No problem is

[01:40:08] rules say.

[01:40:09] So I just need to

[01:40:10] do my end now, right?

[01:40:11] Yeah.

[01:40:12] You just got to get the

[01:40:13] car in place.

[01:40:14] Fire.

[01:40:15] You don't even need the

[01:40:16] car in place at the moment.

[01:40:17] Like the car has the

[01:40:18] ability to rotate this

[01:40:19] thing, punch it into

[01:40:20] the door.

[01:40:21] It just when it's

[01:40:22] time to leave.

[01:40:23] God, I feel so

[01:40:24] nervous hitting this

[01:40:25] button.

[01:40:26] All right.

[01:40:27] Well, hold it.

[01:40:28] So what you guys

[01:40:29] are going to do is

[01:40:31] just chill it here or

[01:40:32] you're going to like

[01:40:33] juke them out with

[01:40:34] the car.

[01:40:35] Like what's the plan

[01:40:36] to wait till Alaina

[01:40:37] gets down because

[01:40:38] you're going to be

[01:40:39] waiting a hot

[01:40:40] 10 more minutes

[01:40:41] to get down here,

[01:40:43] which is a lot when

[01:40:44] there's gunfire going

[01:40:45] on.

[01:40:46] Once she gets past

[01:40:47] a certain spot,

[01:40:48] like we can blow

[01:40:49] the space needle.

[01:40:50] You know what?

[01:40:51] You know what?

[01:40:52] The fun thing about

[01:40:53] the fact that those

[01:40:54] guys have armor

[01:40:55] defeating course,

[01:40:56] I'm shooting like

[01:40:57] a heavy machine gun

[01:40:58] that probably

[01:40:59] doesn't give a fuck

[01:41:00] actually have to hit

[01:41:01] them.

[01:41:02] I can shoot above

[01:41:03] them and make

[01:41:04] the ceiling come

[01:41:05] down on them.

[01:41:06] You could.

[01:41:07] So I mean,

[01:41:08] you know,

[01:41:09] barrage shooting

[01:41:10] above them,

[01:41:11] trying to pin

[01:41:12] them under rubble

[01:41:13] and stuff like that.

[01:41:14] All right.

[01:41:15] That's going to be a

[01:41:16] mix it up roll.

[01:41:17] Watch.

[01:41:18] This would be a good

[01:41:19] time to detonate

[01:41:20] the space needle.

[01:41:21] OK.

[01:41:22] Boom, boom, boom.

[01:41:25] You hear the vibrations

[01:41:27] of that down here.

[01:41:29] And then there is

[01:41:30] a couple seconds

[01:41:31] of silence because

[01:41:32] everybody in here

[01:41:33] heard it's all the

[01:41:34] gunfire stopped

[01:41:35] and they're all

[01:41:36] pros.

[01:41:37] They know this is

[01:41:38] an explosion.

[01:41:39] They just don't

[01:41:40] know what blew up.

[01:41:41] Yeah.

[01:41:42] And then the space

[01:41:43] needle hits.

[01:41:44] The disk hits

[01:41:45] the ground.

[01:41:46] I'm going to

[01:41:47] be an act under

[01:41:48] pressure for everybody

[01:41:49] not to get like

[01:41:50] thrown all the

[01:41:51] Christ over the place.

[01:41:52] David, if you want

[01:41:54] to retain that

[01:41:55] 12 for that,

[01:41:56] I will allow it.

[01:41:57] I will keep that one.

[01:41:58] Yeah.

[01:41:59] You're in the clear.

[01:42:00] That's a six for me.

[01:42:02] That's 13 for me.

[01:42:03] Apparently I'm

[01:42:04] better blind.

[01:42:05] Eleven for me.

[01:42:06] Well,

[01:42:07] I was looking where

[01:42:08] you were pointing me

[01:42:09] and I didn't see

[01:42:10] you.

[01:42:11] I was like,

[01:42:12] on the left.

[01:42:13] Oh, shit.

[01:42:14] You only have you

[01:42:15] do not want to see.

[01:42:16] You do not want

[01:42:17] to see.

[01:42:18] Yeah.

[01:42:19] So you're just going to get

[01:42:20] you're going to take harm.

[01:42:21] You're in the wrong

[01:42:22] place at the wrong

[01:42:23] time.

[01:42:24] Watch.

[01:42:25] Do you have any armor?

[01:42:26] I have one armor

[01:42:30] in an armor jacket,

[01:42:33] an armor jacket.

[01:42:34] Great.

[01:42:35] It will help

[01:42:36] because you're

[01:42:37] looking for Julian

[01:42:38] is pointing you

[01:42:39] at the ceiling.

[01:42:40] It hits and you're

[01:42:41] you're not paying

[01:42:42] enough attention.

[01:42:43] When you look up,

[01:42:44] you're getting hit

[01:42:45] by a big piece of

[01:42:46] concrete that's

[01:42:47] crumbling out

[01:42:48] of the ceiling.

[01:42:49] Of course,

[01:42:50] most of the bad

[01:42:51] guys are also

[01:42:52] getting hit by

[01:42:53] crumbling concrete

[01:42:54] and you will

[01:42:55] take three harm.

[01:42:56] Go ahead and do

[01:42:57] it.

[01:42:58] Mix it up.

[01:42:59] A lot of.

[01:43:00] Yeah.

[01:43:01] Yeah.

[01:43:02] Go ahead and do

[01:43:03] that mixed up roll.

[01:43:04] Another 11.

[01:43:05] Nice.

[01:43:06] You guys will

[01:43:07] with that,

[01:43:08] you're going to

[01:43:09] get down here.

[01:43:10] You can make a run

[01:43:11] to the car right now,

[01:43:12] in fact,

[01:43:13] if you want.

[01:43:14] They're all

[01:43:15] OK.

[01:43:16] Watch you

[01:43:17] heave that fucking

[01:43:22] 25 pound

[01:43:23] hunk of

[01:43:26] stone off of yourself

[01:43:27] and you can chase them.

[01:43:30] You know,

[01:43:31] you've got some

[01:43:32] broken ribs at least.

[01:43:33] All right.

[01:43:34] We can get it

[01:43:35] replaced later.

[01:43:36] So you guys

[01:43:39] dash to the car

[01:43:41] and Alaina is

[01:43:44] at the door.

[01:43:45] Fire the

[01:43:46] harpoon.

[01:43:47] That's no problem.

[01:43:48] All right,

[01:43:49] Alaina,

[01:43:50] give me another roll.

[01:43:51] Don't mess up.

[01:43:52] Don't mess up.

[01:43:53] Stay conscious.

[01:43:54] Stay conscious.

[01:43:55] Don't mess up.

[01:43:56] Stay conscious.

[01:43:57] OK.

[01:43:58] Nine.

[01:43:59] Nine.

[01:44:00] You stumble,

[01:44:01] hesitate or flinch.

[01:44:02] You'll get a

[01:44:03] warning.

[01:44:04] You'll get a

[01:44:05] flinch.

[01:44:06] You'll get a

[01:44:07] worse outcome,

[01:44:08] hard bargain or

[01:44:09] ugly choice.

[01:44:10] Here's your

[01:44:14] Would you like to

[01:44:15] see the cars roll

[01:44:16] to the pre make

[01:44:17] that decision?

[01:44:18] That final decision

[01:44:19] for her?

[01:44:20] That would be fair.

[01:44:21] Yes.

[01:44:22] Eleven.

[01:44:23] All right.

[01:44:24] Here's your here is

[01:44:25] your ugly choice.

[01:44:26] You know that

[01:44:27] the shot was just

[01:44:29] just too high,

[01:44:30] just a little bit too high.

[01:44:32] You know when it tears the

[01:44:33] door out,

[01:44:34] the way the

[01:44:35] torsion is going to work,

[01:44:36] it's going to flip the

[01:44:37] fucking thing over.

[01:44:38] Now you're prepared for it.

[01:44:40] So you'll definitely be able

[01:44:41] to get onto the rope.

[01:44:43] Your armor will be gone.

[01:44:44] You will personally take

[01:44:45] no actual real damage.

[01:44:47] A couple cuts and scrapes,

[01:44:49] but you'll be completely

[01:44:51] exposed to anything

[01:44:52] else that happens to you

[01:44:53] between you getting

[01:44:57] from the harpoon gun cord

[01:44:59] into the car.

[01:45:01] You know that's going to be

[01:45:02] another act under pressure roll.

[01:45:04] Alternatively,

[01:45:05] you could just let them drive off

[01:45:07] and make your way to the same exit

[01:45:09] that Julian had identified earlier.

[01:45:12] You'll still have the same amount of cover

[01:45:15] that will be a different

[01:45:16] act under pressure.

[01:45:18] Except, you know,

[01:45:20] your option won't be

[01:45:21] reduced to I fall.

[01:45:24] I lose my grip on this

[01:45:25] moving rope

[01:45:26] and fall to my doom.

[01:45:28] It will be I get trapped

[01:45:29] behind a car

[01:45:30] and you'll have it.

[01:45:31] You can shoot back.

[01:45:32] Let's put it that way.

[01:45:34] I'll take the shoot back option.

[01:45:36] OK.

[01:45:37] So door gets pulled off.

[01:45:39] You guys drive away.

[01:45:41] When you check back,

[01:45:43] Banshee,

[01:45:44] Alaina is not on the door.

[01:45:45] She is not surfing the door,

[01:45:47] which is good because

[01:45:48] it definitely flipped over

[01:45:49] exactly the way

[01:45:50] you didn't want it to do.

[01:45:52] Alaina, I imagine you tell them

[01:45:54] you're going to try

[01:45:55] and cut through the parking lot.

[01:45:58] Yeah.

[01:45:59] All right.

[01:46:00] So it'll be pretty easy

[01:46:03] for you guys to pull around

[01:46:04] to where that exit is.

[01:46:06] Alaina,

[01:46:07] I'm going to give you a plus two.

[01:46:10] You already know

[01:46:11] that there's a safe route.

[01:46:12] It was marked out by Julian

[01:46:13] and there's a lot more cover

[01:46:14] because of all the explosions

[01:46:16] and, you know,

[01:46:17] a big falling restaurant

[01:46:19] and big gouges out of the ceiling

[01:46:22] and a lot of stuns

[01:46:24] We're not very currently accurate thugs.

[01:46:28] We're assassins.

[01:46:29] We're somewhere in between.

[01:46:31] Did we use our intel

[01:46:32] or did we still have that in our pocket?

[01:46:34] We're holden.

[01:46:35] Yeah, you've held it.

[01:46:37] OK.

[01:46:38] So Alaina,

[01:46:39] if you want to use the intel.

[01:46:41] I will.

[01:46:42] I'm using the intel

[01:46:43] and by the way,

[01:46:44] I am through being nice.

[01:46:45] I've switched from the twins

[01:46:46] in Ludmilla

[01:46:48] to the rocket launcher.

[01:46:50] OK, that's fair.

[01:46:51] All right.

[01:46:53] Mixing it up is also a fair option.

[01:46:55] If you're just like,

[01:46:56] yeah, I want to kill everybody here,

[01:46:58] who could hurt me between me and the exit

[01:47:00] with this rocket launcher.

[01:47:02] Legitimate.

[01:47:05] All right.

[01:47:06] So give me mix it up

[01:47:07] instead of act under pressure.

[01:47:09] Fucking nice.

[01:47:13] All right.

[01:47:14] You step out of the doorway.

[01:47:15] The smoke clears

[01:47:16] as the door gets pulled off.

[01:47:17] There's still a lot of coughing down here.

[01:47:20] We got a rocket launcher

[01:47:21] on your shoulder.

[01:47:23] You can take it from there.

[01:47:25] I just got to fire the first three shots

[01:47:27] and say that is your warning.

[01:47:29] Get out

[01:47:31] and then continue firing.

[01:47:34] OK, yeah,

[01:47:35] the rocket launchers got four missiles.

[01:47:38] I don't think you expected

[01:47:40] to have to use more than four.

[01:47:41] That would have been very bad.

[01:47:45] And yeah,

[01:47:46] you fire three

[01:47:47] missiles at the three closest groups of dudes.

[01:47:50] They blow up the cars there.

[01:47:52] There's a lot of chaos.

[01:47:54] Things on fire down here now.

[01:47:56] They're screaming.

[01:47:57] There's writhing.

[01:48:00] They start booking for the exit.

[01:48:02] Do you kill them

[01:48:04] with the last missile

[01:48:05] or do you just fire it

[01:48:07] at random?

[01:48:08] Are there any that decided not to run?

[01:48:11] Because they're not dumb.

[01:48:12] No, they're not dumb.

[01:48:13] That's the last one.

[01:48:14] You think it's probably the last one.

[01:48:16] Hey, man,

[01:48:17] if you leave one alive,

[01:48:18] that's how you get Conan.

[01:48:20] Yeah,

[01:48:21] you know,

[01:48:22] fire at that last vehicle leaving

[01:48:24] and I'm going to grab the last guy on the way out.

[01:48:26] Just pick him up by the scruff of the neck

[01:48:28] and just drag him with.

[01:48:30] All right.

[01:48:31] Yeah, you blow that vehicle up

[01:48:32] that they pile into.

[01:48:33] It's just a van

[01:48:35] explodes

[01:48:37] in a big ball of flame,

[01:48:40] almost as though they just blew up a big

[01:48:43] barrel of gasoline and not a regular car.

[01:48:46] And you grab one of the

[01:48:49] very seriously injured guys

[01:48:50] who was on the ground by his neck

[01:48:52] and you're dragging them towards the exit.

[01:48:54] It is the hardest thing

[01:48:55] you've ever done in your life,

[01:48:57] or at least it's in the top 10.

[01:49:01] Yeah.

[01:49:04] OK.

[01:49:05] You climb up,

[01:49:06] hauling this guy behind you.

[01:49:08] Thank God for synthetic muscles

[01:49:11] because, you know,

[01:49:13] human muscles might not do what you tell them to

[01:49:15] in this circumstance.

[01:49:17] Thank God for synthetic nerves

[01:49:19] because those are the ones

[01:49:20] that I can turn off the pain sensors.

[01:49:21] That's right.

[01:49:22] You're like, oh, pain.

[01:49:23] I don't need that right now.

[01:49:24] I already know I'm hurt.

[01:49:28] And you come up in the exit.

[01:49:30] You do have to push

[01:49:32] a big sort of lump of dirt out of the way.

[01:49:37] When you pull the door open,

[01:49:39] but you get out the shitboxes there,

[01:49:42] you get inside with your

[01:49:44] with your hostage or your

[01:49:46] interrogation target.

[01:49:47] Left him in the trunk.

[01:49:49] All right.

[01:49:50] Trunk pops open and he goes.

[01:49:53] All right.

[01:49:55] Elena is going to need a welder

[01:49:58] and surgeon.

[01:49:59] We're calling Dr. Frank on the way.

[01:50:01] Yeah.

[01:50:02] Dr. Frank picks up.

[01:50:03] He says, Dr. Frank.

[01:50:05] Frank, Frank, we need you, buddy.

[01:50:07] Oh, Elena's hurt real bad.

[01:50:09] Oh, Elena's hurt real bad.

[01:50:10] Well, it's not you this time, Julian.

[01:50:12] I'm open.

[01:50:13] I'll clear my schedule.

[01:50:14] Say I need a reboot.

[01:50:15] Watching Elena both hurt real bad.

[01:50:17] All right.

[01:50:18] OK.

[01:50:19] Well, I'll get your asses over here.

[01:50:20] I'll fix you up.

[01:50:21] You know, Dr.

[01:50:22] Frank's got your ass.

[01:50:23] Yeah.

[01:50:24] I have a lot of glasses in stock.

[01:50:26] Was anyone shot in the ass?

[01:50:28] I think Elena was shot all over.

[01:50:30] This is not a time for joke.

[01:50:31] OK.

[01:50:32] All right.

[01:50:33] It is.

[01:50:34] We need new cyberglutes.

[01:50:35] Come on.

[01:50:37] All right.

[01:50:38] So Banshee, this is another act under pressure role.

[01:50:44] You know, you have to because you don't know the route to get to Dr.

[01:50:47] Frank's that isn't going to pass under the snipers purview.

[01:50:50] You have to risk it.

[01:50:51] Well, you know, I still think there will apply to that too.

[01:50:54] If I'm driving straight in a danger, you're just like, fuck it.

[01:50:58] Do you give me your best shot?

[01:51:01] I would say yes.

[01:51:02] I'm when Elena climbs in the car, I'm basically covering her because I'm

[01:51:06] the only one that isn't seriously injured.

[01:51:09] You just had a malfunction.

[01:51:12] Yeah, I'm basically body body checking her and throwing myself over top over.

[01:51:16] All right.

[01:51:17] Now, if I like, I don't know, I've been rolling pretty hot and now I'm

[01:51:22] scared.

[01:51:23] But like the gods are going to go, no, sir, no, sir.

[01:51:28] Yeah.

[01:51:29] But basically what I was going to say, Joe, is also narratively also got the

[01:51:36] guns training on the rooftop.

[01:51:39] So if I get like an amazing critical success or something like that, I

[01:51:42] want to light somebody up.

[01:51:43] But if that makes sense, that makes sense.

[01:51:46] Like if you're going to drive like right the fuck at the building, like

[01:51:50] the top of this building is still going to be a far shot, but it's not

[01:51:53] going to be extreme range.

[01:51:55] Yeah.

[01:51:56] OK.

[01:51:57] Can watch basically play spotter to give him a plus forward?

[01:52:01] Yeah, you absolutely can.

[01:52:05] That's going to be an assess that will be for if.

[01:52:10] Yeah.

[01:52:11] Yeah.

[01:52:12] Just give me an assess role.

[01:52:13] And if you succeed, we'll just bump however much hold you get over onto

[01:52:17] the other role.

[01:52:19] That's a line process.

[01:52:21] Right.

[01:52:22] So you got one hold.

[01:52:24] You have pretty good ideas to which rooftop it is.

[01:52:28] You don't know exactly where she's at.

[01:52:30] I'm looking through Bant or looking through watches eyes, even though

[01:52:33] I'm covering Elena.

[01:52:34] Can I roll one too?

[01:52:37] Or is it a little too brain melting?

[01:52:39] Probably too.

[01:52:40] It could be too hard.

[01:52:41] It's not this isn't a thing you've trained to do before.

[01:52:44] Right.

[01:52:45] Like Banshee can do it because she's figured out how to do two things at

[01:52:49] once.

[01:52:50] Oh, yeah.

[01:52:51] All right.

[01:52:52] So before I pull out there, like center, you know, shit boxes, idling,

[01:52:57] put the break in search, smoking the tires.

[01:53:00] Like, I mean, this is just my narrative.

[01:53:02] I'm not trying to get fit out of doing this.

[01:53:04] So like it's smoke is starting to billow out of there.

[01:53:08] Got like the gun pretty much trained on where I think she is and

[01:53:13] roll 16.

[01:53:15] Oh shit.

[01:53:16] Nice.

[01:53:19] Please.

[01:53:20] All right.

[01:53:21] You're row anymore today, Joe.

[01:53:22] I'm afraid God's going to start you down.

[01:53:23] Yeah, you will be able to hose her down.

[01:53:26] Can't be sure you'll kill her, but you'll definitely tag her as

[01:53:29] you go by their big bullet.

[01:53:34] It's going to hurt real bad.

[01:53:37] Hard to kiss.

[01:53:41] Yeah.

[01:53:43] She catches a couple of those bullets before she ducks behind

[01:53:46] cover.

[01:53:47] That was not an anticipated reaction.

[01:53:51] So yeah, just plowing on through just in fact, if it's a, you know,

[01:53:59] if we've got David took a hostage, right?

[01:54:02] Yes.

[01:54:03] A severely wounded hostage, but a hostage.

[01:54:07] I almost want to see where we open the car door and just have his

[01:54:11] head dangling out at next to the road.

[01:54:13] Like, tell us, tell us kind of thing like that.

[01:54:15] I think you might want them to be all healed up before you attempt

[01:54:19] something like that.

[01:54:20] Yep.

[01:54:21] I think I can, I would it be much benefit for me rolling first aid

[01:54:23] on David right now as opposed to bleeding.

[01:54:27] That would be good.

[01:54:28] Yeah.

[01:54:29] I'll row that.

[01:54:30] That's that's just act under pressure straight.

[01:54:32] I can give you a plus for that because I got, that's a good idea.

[01:54:36] Yeah.

[01:54:37] Okay.

[01:54:38] So I'll row like so the car, I love the fact that the car is

[01:54:41] the car.

[01:54:42] It's like, I have a Tesla that's driving us.

[01:54:44] Have you seen where they take the white salt and put around it in the car?

[01:54:48] Thanks.

[01:54:49] It is, you know, the road and it's like a block in a circle, like a demon.

[01:54:54] Yes.

[01:54:55] That's a 14.

[01:54:57] That'll do it.

[01:54:59] So I am, yeah, not only added three because of what the plus one there.

[01:55:05] So I do have in my inventory somewhere, it said stems or trauma,

[01:55:10] Derms.

[01:55:11] Yeah.

[01:55:12] Yeah.

[01:55:13] Trauma, Derms are good.

[01:55:14] You slap them.

[01:55:15] That'll stop the bleeding.

[01:55:16] You apply them correctly.

[01:55:18] Reduce harm by two segments.

[01:55:21] All right.

[01:55:22] Reduce harm by two segments.

[01:55:24] There you go.

[01:55:25] Don't worry, love.

[01:55:26] I got you.

[01:55:27] She rolled the doctor Frank's everybody piles out.

[01:55:31] He clears a bunch of tables.

[01:55:32] Elaine is in the worst shape.

[01:55:34] She gets first.

[01:55:35] I insist go with others.

[01:55:39] No, no.

[01:55:41] You were not arguing about this, Elena.

[01:55:44] Get on the table.

[01:55:45] I'm still armed.

[01:55:47] There is still argument to be had.

[01:55:50] Yeah.

[01:55:51] Well, do the argument from the table.

[01:55:53] Well, I get to sedate everybody anyway, so I might as well just start with you

[01:55:57] and then you will know what order I do them in.

[01:56:00] I just need to know how to reboot my reboot my eyes.

[01:56:03] Banshee or watch.

[01:56:04] I can take care of that after this is done.

[01:56:07] Yeah, I get a robot doc will help if I said I'm more I could get out the

[01:56:12] little reset pin, but it's not working.

[01:56:16] I'll throw that one in for free.

[01:56:18] We'll reset pen to reset his eyes.

[01:56:20] I mean, oh, OK, I'll do that for free.

[01:56:23] That's no problem.

[01:56:24] Like a CD-ROM draft.

[01:56:26] Yeah.

[01:56:27] All right.

[01:56:28] So everybody goes under Dr. Frank.

[01:56:33] Damage show, but I don't think I did.

[01:56:36] You did not.

[01:56:37] You and I both didn't.

[01:56:39] Yeah, Dr. Frank sedates both watch and Elena.

[01:56:44] He's like, I got to do Elena first because she's got an open wound and

[01:56:47] that's just how it is.

[01:56:49] Watch his broken ribs aren't going to do anything for now.

[01:56:53] I'm basically just sitting there with a gun in my hand because I'm not

[01:56:56] trusted in anybody outside of this crew at the moment.

[01:56:59] And your injured guy also gets sedated.

[01:57:02] He's like, and that dude's next.

[01:57:06] But it's a long it's it's a long surgery while series of surgeries.

[01:57:11] It's like 14 straight hours.

[01:57:15] Eventually, Dr. Frank just tells Banshee, look, this is just how you

[01:57:18] reset.

[01:57:19] You take this, he hands you literally a syringe.

[01:57:22] It's thin enough.

[01:57:23] You just see that like right at the corner of the eye there.

[01:57:25] You see that little hole?

[01:57:26] Just poke it in there.

[01:57:28] If you got to poke poke, poke in the skin, not the eye.

[01:57:31] The eye is very delicate.

[01:57:33] If you have to miss, it won't be.

[01:57:36] You don't need to roll.

[01:57:37] You manage your good control.

[01:57:40] It's not you're not in a dangerous situation.

[01:57:43] You're perfectly safe here.

[01:57:46] Hopefully.

[01:57:49] And so you reset the eyes, which is good because, you know, when you

[01:57:54] were linked to watch his eyes, you weren't you couldn't see when he

[01:57:57] went out.

[01:58:00] So yeah, you got your own eyes back and now you're just waiting

[01:58:05] for an opportunity to, I guess, interrogate somebody perhaps with

[01:58:09] advanced interrogation techniques.

[01:58:12] I'm going to check him, see if he had I'm assuming he doesn't

[01:58:15] have ID on anything or anything that says no identifying

[01:58:20] materials.

[01:58:21] He may have identifying marks.

[01:58:23] He's got some tattoos.

[01:58:25] I'm going to be looking at those and taking pictures of those.

[01:58:28] Yeah.

[01:58:29] But other than that, nothing to identify him.

[01:58:31] He seems pretty professional.

[01:58:33] It's like a good time for Craig.

[01:58:35] Craig would probably be the best for interrogating me.

[01:58:37] So I mean, it's like 1030 right now, too, if you all want to

[01:58:42] say we can do the we can do the meetup with the chameleon next game

[01:58:47] if you want to for the payoff.

[01:58:49] Yeah, I mean, you could how you could go get the payoff from

[01:58:53] the chameleon right now.

[01:58:54] If you guys want to leave your fellows and Dr.

[01:58:57] Frank's care, I would say do that because if Craig is there,

[01:59:00] Craig will sabotage the meeting with chameleon.

[01:59:02] He's already promised that fair.

[01:59:05] And what we have?

[01:59:07] What was our what was our plan?

[01:59:09] What was our what was our clock pushed up to?

[01:59:12] I take a look here.

[01:59:15] You didn't move it that much.

[01:59:17] I'm going to put three on the clock.

[01:59:20] There were definitely two, I think, from last time.

[01:59:23] We went pretty fast.

[01:59:26] We went pretty fast and didn't go pretty fast.

[01:59:29] It's just like the beginning of this, like all the prep work

[01:59:32] is just going to push the clock up.

[01:59:34] But I'm going to say two or three.

[01:59:38] Three, three on the clock.

[01:59:41] So you're rolling with a plus three.

[01:59:42] You'll be rolling with plus three.

[01:59:44] Would you rather just me go?

[01:59:47] And then that leaves you with the with the watch at the at Dr.

[01:59:54] Frank's.

[01:59:55] Yeah, that's fine.

[01:59:56] Like I'm I'm ready to put a bullet in something,

[02:00:00] but it's not going to be Dr.

[02:00:02] Frank. It might be the other guy.

[02:00:05] What kind of skill do you have to roll for this?

[02:00:07] Nothing. You just roll legwork, which means you roll to D six plus

[02:00:12] three in this circumstance.

[02:00:14] You roll to D six plus whatever your legwork clock is left.

[02:00:19] It basically means if you take no prep.

[02:00:21] So a nine, choose one from the list below.

[02:00:24] Oh, was that with the plus three?

[02:00:26] That's no, that's not what the plus three with the plus three.

[02:00:29] It'll be a ten or ten plus twelve.

[02:00:33] Yeah, yeah.

[02:00:34] You'd be rather be getting three.

[02:00:35] Yeah, choose three.

[02:00:36] It's not a set up or an ambush.

[02:00:38] You're paid in full.

[02:00:40] You already know who the employer is.

[02:00:43] The meeting doesn't attract outside attention and you learn something from

[02:00:48] the experience.

[02:00:49] The last one everybody marks experience.

[02:00:52] OK, so paid in full.

[02:00:55] So we're getting paid triple.

[02:00:56] Yeah.

[02:00:57] OK, so paid in full.

[02:01:00] Right.

[02:01:01] If it's just me, it sounds like not an ambush would be a great thing.

[02:01:04] I believe that idea you would be pretty, you'd be a little hard up for an

[02:01:08] ambush.

[02:01:09] And then the only other thing unless you want to unless you want to take

[02:01:12] the experience is doesn't attract outside attention, which would probably

[02:01:15] be good.

[02:01:16] Yeah, I think that's fine too.

[02:01:18] I mean, we do if we want to figure out who did it, which I wouldn't

[02:01:21] put it past the chameleon like that would have been perfect for him

[02:01:24] anyway.

[02:01:25] But yeah, I think that I'll just go with the don't attract outside

[02:01:29] attention.

[02:01:30] Try to keep his low profile if everybody agrees with that.

[02:01:33] Mm hmm.

[02:01:34] Right.

[02:01:35] Million is waiting for you at Helen's.

[02:01:38] He's digging into a piece of pie.

[02:01:41] This appears to be apple pie.

[02:01:43] Ah, you're Banshee, correct?

[02:01:48] Yes, I'm Banshee, but I think the thing is most important is I'm not

[02:01:52] Craig.

[02:01:53] Sorry about that.

[02:01:54] Yes.

[02:01:55] That is I'm very happy to see there are no sororities in the

[02:01:59] vicinity.

[02:02:00] Jobs done?

[02:02:01] Yeah.

[02:02:02] Gangs are going to stop causing trouble.

[02:02:05] I doubt they're off the street, but yeah, they're not.

[02:02:09] They're not going to be taking any new territory and they're not

[02:02:12] going to be attacking each other.

[02:02:15] So that was the letter of the assignment.

[02:02:18] It sure was.

[02:02:20] I can check that with my own sources.

[02:02:22] So I'm just going to give you your money.

[02:02:24] How much do we agree on?

[02:02:26] Let's scroll up and find out.

[02:02:28] A lot, yes.

[02:02:29] Because I think Elena herself put in 20.

[02:02:32] I did.

[02:02:33] Jesus.

[02:02:34] We need to start tagging where we.

[02:02:37] Yeah, I see it here.

[02:02:39] I think we all put in five except for Craig.

[02:02:41] Craig put in 10.

[02:02:43] Watch put in four.

[02:02:46] Craig put in 10.

[02:02:49] Banshee put in five.

[02:02:51] Twenty.

[02:02:52] 132 credit.

[02:02:55] 132 credit is a lot.

[02:03:00] That is all of his money.

[02:03:02] He must be expecting a big payday.

[02:03:05] 132 credit is an enormous amount.

[02:03:08] You could buy your own 747 for that and fly out of here tomorrow,

[02:03:12] complete with pilots and full service like you could get the whole

[02:03:19] crew, the pilots, the copilot, the flight staff, the in-flight service,

[02:03:25] the whole bar.

[02:03:27] We're a number of other things.

[02:03:29] So you guys are obscenely wealthy from this fucking job.

[02:03:33] The implications, however, are that the chameleon has a lot more

[02:03:39] money to spend than you anticipated.

[02:03:42] Well, sir, I would say that the chameleon has a lot more money

[02:03:46] Well, sir, it's been a pleasure doing business and I'm sorry to be started off

[02:03:51] on the wrong foot.

[02:03:53] And yeah, as a mime, you enjoy your pie and hopefully, yeah,

[02:04:01] she just stands up.

[02:04:02] Have a good day.

[02:04:03] You enjoy that life changing amount of money, my friend.

[02:04:07] She just, you know, door, close like she thinks that the chameleon was

[02:04:15] going to make money off of getting rid of them.

[02:04:17] That seemed like get all your enemies in one spot and OK,

[02:04:23] I think that's where we'll leave it for tonight.

[02:04:25] Questions, comments, suggestions about the chameleon job.

[02:04:30] That was a good one.

[02:04:32] That was a great one.

[02:04:33] That was the end show.

[02:04:35] Yeah, I knew it wasn't going to be a simple negotiation,

[02:04:40] but I didn't know how tits up it's going to be.

[02:04:42] I liked how you had everything was kind of set up.

[02:04:45] Like, I mean, I figured there would be like some kind of complication

[02:04:50] like that going on.

[02:04:52] You know, I liked how you kind of did this Chekhov's gun kind of

[02:04:56] like if you don't see 100 K, if you hear 100 K in the first act,

[02:05:00] then you're going to see him in the second act kind of thing like that.

[02:05:04] That was nice foreshadowing.

[02:05:08] You did that like that was you guys calling 100 K

[02:05:12] and I already had slated them to be like on Team Assassin

[02:05:16] or Team Capture or whatever the team was.

[02:05:21] So, yeah, you know, you helped.

[02:05:26] You helped with that.

[02:05:29] I like how we didn't kill David.

[02:05:31] Yeah, that's good.

[02:05:33] I am.

[02:05:34] I also like how we didn't kill David.

[02:05:37] I am going to put my surveillance team on out looking for Lexi

[02:05:40] because that bitch got to go.

[02:05:42] Fair.

[02:05:44] It's business.

[02:05:45] It's business, but she's got some splaining to do.

[02:05:48] I've cracked a root before so ouch.

[02:05:53] Yeah, not good.

[02:05:54] I mean, it could have been a lot worse.

[02:05:56] It could have been like a crushed pelvis or something.

[02:05:59] I've never had that before.

[02:06:01] I mean, you would need a new pelvis.

[02:06:03] You need a new pelvis.

[02:06:05] I got the cyber pelvis.

[02:06:06] It's like a jackhammer.

[02:06:08] Really would need that cyber ass.

[02:06:11] Really would need that cyber ass.

[02:06:14] But yeah, that was a good time.

[02:06:16] That was way more intense than I expected.

[02:06:19] And then I really enjoyed it.

[02:06:22] I'm glad to hear it.

[02:06:24] You're welcome over my head.

[02:06:27] With that, next time I'm sure will be Rwengay.

[02:06:35] It's going to be prepping for the extraction

[02:06:38] and also interrogating some poor fool that decided to try and kill us.

[02:06:43] Yes.

[02:06:46] I will give you this one for free.

[02:06:48] And this has just occurred to me.

[02:06:51] I have not been contacted by any other players.

[02:06:54] But you know, Craig is a wild card.

[02:06:58] It would really kind of suck if Craig got all that money himself somehow

[02:07:02] and then did something crazy with it.

[02:07:05] Not saying anything, just saying.

[02:07:07] For that to happen, he would have to know where it is.

[02:07:10] And we're not telling him where it is, are we?

[02:07:15] No or no.

[02:07:16] All right.

[02:07:18] And with that, let's leave it for tonight.

[02:07:21] Next time, some answers.

[02:07:24] Good night, everybody.

[02:07:26] Good night, everybody.
