Actual Play - Red Markets T-Minus - EP 4 Bugging Out

Road Salt being on an exchange program that is really out of this world, we are joined by his dependent Sparky. The world performs a little cookie monster on our takers and U-Beasts return to the world.

Nick – The Market

Adam – Shake – A soon to be family man, fringer, unemployed weed dealer, current grow op operator, living outside of the enclave society.

Brownie – Sparky – Old salt miner who was Road Salt's menor and dependent and an avid scavenger. Think crazy old prospector with a salty twist.

Crazon/Review Cultist/Chris – Balto – Pre-crash medic with a latent brother and an ambulance as a dependent. Playing the Driver Tough Spot.

Ethan - St. Bernard - A deeply flawed man, cracked in detachment, definitely not Benny. He's our face, but can handle himself in a fight. Playing the Fenceman tough spot.

[00:00:02] Hello and welcome to The Roleplaying Exchange. I'm Nick and I'll be running tonight's game of Red Markets T-Minus. We have our four takers back with us again ready to help the moths take down the DHQS. Really? Four of us?

[00:00:25] I said help the moths. The moths will be the big player. It's not like the four of you are taking on the entire United States Army. I'm hearing four. I mean all the players are back maybe not all the same characters. Yes, let's have each of you introduce yourselves and remind each other and the listeners who you're playing because it has been a little bit of time for us.

[00:00:49] Oh, okay. Hello guys, this is Adam and I'm playing Shake. I almost said I'm Shake and I'm playing Adam. You know, it could be either. Really getting deep into the character here. Robert Downey Jr. in Tropic Thunder. I don't know who you are, do you? I'm a dude rolling a dude. This guy's a little dude.

[00:01:13] So Shake, he's a weak spot. He's kind of got his heads in clouds and he's soft spot is he's a, why can't we be friends? I'm playing the Fringer playbook, which is something that was that Nick is playtesting here. And Shake is basically he's part of the Enclave, but he isn't in the Enclave because he lives outside the Enclave with his pregnant girlfriend.

[00:01:39] And they're expecting a little bud, which is another weed joke that I could tie in there real quick. And yeah, he's trying to make the, make the loss a better place for his child. Also, this has been an Adam character. I've already committed one execution this season so far. Next would be... Brownie, following the ABNs as always.

[00:02:04] Hi, I'm Brownie. I was playing Road Salt in the previous game, but as you probably heard at the last, at the end of the last game, I will not be playing Road Salt for a little while. I'm going to be picking up as Sparky, who was Road Salt's dependent, as you'll see as the game begins.

[00:02:22] Sparky is an old miner who worked as kind of like a mentor and a dependent to Road Salt, who is playing the Scavenger playbook, and you'll be meeting him pretty soon. All right. I'm Crazon, or Chris, and I am playing Balto. He is...

[00:02:46] He's got a bit of survivor's guilt after the crash, and he's got two dependents, technically. Ralph, his brother, who's latent, and also his car, the Shambulance, because he is a former paramedic and ambulance driver.

[00:03:06] And, uh, yeah, he's feeling kind of bad about unwillingly selling one of his friends into slavery or into indentured servitude. I mean, you weren't the one who directly talked to the, uh, to the spacers, right, Ethan? Speaking of, hello! I'm Ethan. I've sold a man into slavery. Also, I'm playing, uh, St. Bernard. It's more of a rent-to-own situation than slavery, but you know.

[00:03:37] Yeah. It's more of a title loan into slavery, all right? I'm getting off my back about it. The side of that, he's not trading his teammates for favors. Uh, he's a former fenceman, adopted daughter, to full life.

[00:03:57] And before we move on into the next session, I felt like we should have one scene to, to finish and wrap up the last one. So you guys drive back in your shambulance through the gates of Hatch. And all your dependents are, are there, or, or show up shortly after to, to welcome you back.

[00:04:23] And the three of you, St. Bernard, Shake, and Balto, see Sparky coming towards where the shambulance is from the direction of the fuel depot. This is gonna suck. Yeah, just giving the other guys a little bit of a, like a guilty, like, like, oh no. Look. Well, hey there, fellows. Where's Road Salt? Oh goodness, he looks like a, looks like a puppy trying to find his brother.

[00:04:54] Ah, hello. Uh, you're, you are again. I see you got my wrench there. Yes. Uh, yeah. Oh, Sparky, we, we met. What about that wrench? Would you? You see Sparky's eyes fall. No, no, no, no, no, no. He's good. He's good. He's good. He's, uh, helping some people go to the moon.

[00:05:22] It was on a, he's on a farm somewhere. That's right. No. What, what kind of jokes did he put up, put you guys up to? Hey, Road Salt, come out of that shambulance. It sounds like him. Yes, it does. Running away from home. Joining space farms. Now, now, now, now kids, this is getting to be not funny. What's going on? I grabbed the spanner wrench and I step out and I, I go to one knee and hold it up to

[00:05:50] him much like, like a knight or something like that. That's a sparky is help is helping the, the space cadets build a rocket to escape. He did that. So they would not kill us. And now we've got to figure out how to get Sparky back. So he's okay, but help me out here. Shamblins. I look at the vehicle.

[00:06:19] It doesn't help. Now look up at Chris's character. It's an inanimate object. Sparky, who I am, kind of looks at you shocked. Oh, my bad. Takes Excalibur from you. And you see what, as he grasps it and takes the weight, his hand drops a little bit. He wasn't ready for how heavy it was. And he's just looking at you a little bit in shock and puzzlement. To the moon? He really helped us a lot. The, uh, yeah, yeah.

[00:06:48] I want all of you, even Sparky to give yourself confidence. Control checks. Oh, God. I thought his name was Road Salt and this is Sparky. Yeah, this is Sparky. You said Road Salt. No, you said Road Salt. Yeah. You said Sparky when you said you're supposed to say Road Salt. Like, I'm Sparky. Yeah. Uh, there it is. There it is. I'm still too confused to take any detachment from this. Uh, yeah. 12 over seven. So, yeah, I'm good. Yeah. Nine over two.

[00:07:18] Okay. All the critical fail. Oh, God. Uh, take three to detachment there, St. Bernard. Uh, huh. As you're just stumbling to explain this to Sparky, he looks confused. And when it finally dawns on him and he just, you see the look of despair come across his face.

[00:07:45] It just eats into you because deep down, you know, this is, you know, not entirely your fault, but most of it is. It's totes your fault. Sparky just pops the wrench up onto his shoulder and says, if you need me, I'll be down at the fuel depot. And he walks away. Well, that's what we call a crumble. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Oh, it crumbled? Oh, shit. I had two.

[00:08:12] So I start, I start cracked and detachment because, you know, fencemen. And I had two. And we haven't done vignettes. Uh, can you, there's no way to project this at Delta Green. No. Damn it. So, uh. Fight, flight. Now, remember, you gotta choose importantly now. Fight, flight, or catatonic. Oh, no, this is crumble. This isn't crack. This is, this is crumble. Never happened to me in a Red Markets game.

[00:08:40] Okay, I'll, I'll, what did you roll shake for your self control check? Oh, I'm sorry. I wrote seven over five. Okay, you're fine. Let me look it up. But crumble is. Bad. Is bad. That's like when you choose between like addiction, uh, hallucinations, that kind of thing. Everywhere you see is rose salt. I know it's not in the game, but if rose salt came back successfully, I mean, that might cure that one.

[00:09:10] Yeah, I, I, I'd give you guys some healing if he comes, when he comes back. If he comes back. I love that. If. Hey, nothing certain in this world. No. What is exactly the crumble? I'm checking myself. I'm trying to find in where. Humanity 310. Humanity. Oh, humanity. Okay. I was looking at sanity for some reason. I played too many RPGs. Uh, crumble.

[00:09:39] Begins to crumble. The damage to their humanity becomes permanent. Uh, disassociation, delusion, or dependency. Do you have a preference there, Ethan? Hmm. So, is there anything I should know about each option? Yeah. Uh, delusion means a recurring hallucination that you must struggle to remember is false and impossible. Dependency is you rely on some external item to get through the agony of existence.

[00:10:09] And disassociation occurs when relationships no longer seem worth the effort or pain they require. The disassociation regret affects relationships. If a character fails self-control with the dependent or reference, they can no longer maintain the illusion of normalcy. It just makes you unable to get the favor from the reference or heal humanity with the dependent. Oh, fuck. I have two suggestions for you. One of them's a cheap out and one of them isn't. Dependence.

[00:10:38] The cheap out is dependence on the shamblance because you already kind of have that. The other one is huffing that high test ethanol. Oh. Because it can be substance dependence. Yeah. So one, he becomes more just as dependent on the shamblance that I do.

[00:10:57] If you want to think it over for a little bit until like after vignettes, I'll let you do that because then we can get into the greater world information update and then we can do vignettes. And then you can let me know what you decide if you need time. I was going to say like, I sort of perceived the crack in detachment as being somewhat along the dissociation kind of thing where it cause it's kind of like, well, you've been murdering.

[00:11:27] Well, not murdering, but you know, you've been headshotting, walking corpses of people for so long. It's like, well, a little fucked up. So that seems in line with the conception of how fucked up I was already. So. So you're going with disassociation? I'm going with disassociation. Oh, God. That means when you're doing dependence or reference, you'll have to do a self control check.

[00:11:55] And if you fail, you can't go through the interaction and you don't get the benefit from it. Oof. This is this is an interesting development that I didn't see, but I like it. You should play his character like it was a like a manager at Lowe's or Walmart. You know how they're just like cow cow's bastards. If so, they're so to that devil. For the greater good. Back to the world in general. We could two passes before you finally get the update from Ward.

[00:12:26] Ward is very happy with the jobs that you guys have gone on recently through the job with Lex with the guarding the shipment. And through the job that she offered getting the supplies to bribe the archivists with you have managed to obtain a source of food for the army. So they could move into the area early.

[00:12:52] And the DHQS won't see them coming from like Colorado and other far places. In addition, the archivists being bribed allows you to house more people and hatch without complaints. Store some weaponry down in the mines in the areas where the archivists have control of. So you have secured both storage, housing, food.

[00:13:16] So word tells you that now that all that is taken care of, you guys can focus on more of the offensive sort of preparation. Dealing directly with the DHQS and those who support them. How does that all sound everybody? Sound exciting? Great. I love, I love, I love committing terrorism. I no longer view humans as people, so let's do it. Oh, your poor daughter.

[00:13:48] She's immune to it. Now come on. No, she's late into it. No. Oh. I laugh because I cry. It's another few weeks of time when you get word that it's time to go over the fence again. But there may be some jobs available for you to make some money to put towards the war effort. Or you also hear from Ward that they have a job.

[00:14:16] But before you go out and consider any of that, it's time for vignettes with your dependents. Would anybody like to go first? Yeah, I need to, I got some, I got a little fucked up in it. I mean, I'm not crumbled, fucked up or anything. But you know, I got some stuff I need to heal. So I would like to do a vignette with, I assume, my girlfriend?

[00:14:44] That was Mary Jane Sass Cat. I was going to say, I know your girlfriend has multiple names. But the one thing I do know for sure is that it has been played by Crazon in the past. Yeah. So what do you do with your girlfriend? So I guess this is where we share a moment. And then I'm going to think about road salt. And then I got to make a test to succeed.

[00:15:11] And then if so, I lose one point of stress that I'll immediately gain back as soon as I walk out the gate again. Yeah. So are you going to be? Bearing a burden. Not bearing a burden. Coping. Coping, yes. So you're going to be coping? Yeah, I'm going to be coping. So we're, I think the way I would be coping for this is I would be sitting there with her trying to go pick up baby names and stuff like that.

[00:15:40] Like we're just sitting there trying to like, I'm focusing on something that is positive and uplifting and stuff like that. And we've got a bunch of books out. You know, I even had something pulled up off Ubic with baby names and things like that. And also, yeah, let's kind of go through this. Okay. Let me just pull up a baby name generator. A baby name generator. I was going to say, well, how about bubble gum?

[00:16:11] Are you going to fantasy name generator? All right. There we go. But no, we do actually. Nope. We're going to fantasy name generator. And then you were going to argue. All right. The category is you've got to pick a horse's name. Okay. Now, seriously, that's one of the options there is you can pick out a horse name. So that's what we're going to be going with. If I can find it. Yeah. I'm trying to find horses in this. Fantasy name. Just click fantasy names and then horse. All right.

[00:16:40] You don't want to go with ogre? No. Hell, hell names. Honey, I really think get hell, hell names. Wait, it's not generate them. Fuck. I'm dragging a scene out too long. Honey, I was thinking if we. I think Scorn Tooth might be a good one. Scorn Tooth. No, honey. I think I was thinking Penny would be a good one. Would you think Penny be a good name for a little girl? You son of a bitch. Sorry. Sorry.

[00:17:11] Real combative scene it's become. I picked the name I knew it was. I know that he did. I know that he did. Mick, it was the equivalent as I was walking in front of him and slug my hand back and clipped him in the junk real quick. That was what I've done. Fair boy. Honey, you know, I was thinking Penny if it was a little girl. And then. Dime. Dime back. No, dime. We'll go with dime for a boy. How do you. Like the car.

[00:17:41] Like a Chrysler. I think Jingleheimer might be a good one for if it's a boy. Or maybe Doodles. Doodles. I had an uncle who drew a lot. That reminds me too much of him. Oh, then he'd be like, like, maybe that'll inspire him to be an artist. Oh, you know, that's a good thing. Artists are good names. That's if it's a boy, of course. Yeah. And see. I have no idea.

[00:18:10] I just hit anyone name generator, but I can't pronounce any of this and I don't think it works. So as we go through with this, you know, what about, you know, I had a I had a cousin named Charlie. So I'm thinking we can name this one Chuck. Chuck. Really? I mean, like. I don't know. Like, I didn't really like that. That old TV show. Uh, and like that kind of gives me like bad vibes. But that that old TV show.

[00:18:40] Oh, yeah. What about? What about Keanu? Now I'm at the real self control. And then I will go ahead and institute this as I go through the name generator. And that's the name. Yes. Maybe it's actually we're using a name generator to pick out names and stuff like that. We're actually using like on Ubix, the, the fantasy name generator. It's called baby Ubic. Yeah. I know you're fine.

[00:19:10] I click on one and it says salty. And then I start thinking of rose salt. And I'd zone out for a moment. Give me a self control. Honey, you okay? You know, eight. Eight. No, wait. How much I got in that again? No, it's seven over five. I succeed. Yeah, honey. What about this one? Rocky road. Fuck you. I'll make another one in you. See, see, see. Snap out of it. Hear the Rocky.

[00:19:40] And then fuck you as you go back into another extended daydream about rose salt. Five over three craze on you. Biscuit eater. You can heal your, your column of humanity. I, I asked for all that. I'm sorry. It's all good. St. Bernard or Balto. Would you like to go next? Either of you? I, I'll, I'll go if unless St. Brian, unless Ethan wants to go.

[00:20:10] Feel free. Okay. Yeah. Um, yeah. Balto is, um, is coping. He's, uh, he's all, yeah, he is also coping to try and to get that stress, get some of that stress off. He does not want to get cracked. So yeah, I imagine he's since his, uh, their, their return trip from, uh, from the space museum. He is, uh, he's given his, his brother a tablet. I believe it was.

[00:20:38] So yeah, he is, uh, he's now probably like playing, maybe playing some games with them. Like, like through his, oh, yeah. Through his like you big specs. Do I actually have you big specs? I can't remember what I have in this game. Sorry guys. It's been a while. Yeah, I have you big specs. So he's probably like, like maybe they're playing some kind of like, um, like some simple egg ARG games in, in, uh, uh, in like the communal, like the kind of the communal room of, uh, where, uh, where his brother's like staying. Yeah.

[00:21:08] Like just like maybe like on the table, you can like where you can have like those, uh, like through like the goggle, through the glasses and through like the camera on the tablet, you can like see something that's not there. It's like in the actual screen, probably just like a little, little fun, maybe slightly competitive game. Obviously they started up a UB sleek here. Oh yeah, exactly. Yes. Yeah. It's a UB sleek. Now that we have a tablet to play with. Mm-hmm. Absolutely. Yeah. I can reply, reprise the role of Ralph, your brother. By all means.

[00:21:38] Yeah. Hey, uh, I'm trying to think of like a good U beast name. Hey, uh, uh, ghost to puss. Yeah. Yeah. Well, watch, watch that ghost. Like get, catch that ghost to puss. It's just, it's, it's sliding off the, uh, it's sliding off the chair there. Well, I'm, I'm trying, I'm trying. Hold on. Hold on, brother. Oh, I got it. I got it. I got it. Awesome. Yeah. And this is like a coping thing. Yeah. So we're basically just playing and like shooting the shit.

[00:22:09] So, um, uh, I hope, uh, how, how's the, uh, how's the tablet treating you? Like, uh, it's, uh, how's the experience with the, uh, with the U beasts? Um, like the glasses seem to be a little bit different, uh, from what I've heard. Yeah. Yeah. It's great. These are, these are some, uh, these are actually some broken U bix, but they still work well enough. We could plug them into the tablet. Somebody else here had those. We put them together and we have a whole U beast league going inside the, uh, the latent section. Now you're actually pretty popular because of the tablet. Thank you, brother. Yeah.

[00:22:39] Not a problem. Um, and, and I'm going to just give you this, I guess, uh, is that like, uh, as he, as, as like, I'm being thanked, I'm, I'm starting to think on like, well, like I'm thinking it's like, well, it's not really me. He has to thank it's, uh, or like, or like, I started thinking of, of, of where I got the tablet. You remember being behind the information counter, cutting it away from the, the security, uh,

[00:23:07] cable from it, looking up and you seeing a whole bunch of the spacers around their car, talking excitedly, pointing in the direction to the other side of the parking lot where you see road salt standing in front of a bunch of equipment and you thought, oh, they must be happy to get some of the equipment out and everything. But now that you mentioned it, they were probably talking about road salt and everything. And you just looked right back down and got that tablet off for your brother. And instead of have, instead of realizing what was really going on, give me self control.

[00:23:36] Yeah. I'll roll that self control. Uh, that is 11 over five. Okay. You're fine. You're fine. Uh, you snap out of it and, uh, you go back to playing UBs. Yeah. I catch a, I catch a, a macho bug. Just this like big muscle bound beetle. That's like on my brother's head. It's just like kind of, you just, it pops up on his head and I just like use the, uh, my Google, my Google glasses to, uh, to grab it. Flicking your UB sketching ball. Yeah.

[00:24:06] Yep. The UB, uh, the, my UB, uh, net. I think they call him a UB snare. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, hold still brother. And I just basically start like, I like not now going to, going to shove those, those thoughts back in my head. We can just enjoy the day. And you enjoy the day with your brother. Um, so you can heal your column of or columns of humanity. Column, I guess if you have one dependent. Yeah. Brings us to St. Bernard.

[00:24:35] I think I'm playing little girl, aren't I? Uh, well, I have, I have three dependents and I think, I think there's one I haven't the scene with yet. Anna, Moe and Arthur is what I have noted down here. Although Moe's in parentheses. So I don't know if that's correct. It's probably not because I have Arlene. Okay. Yeah. I don't know why I have Moe in parentheses. Unclear. Maybe this is where you broke.

[00:25:05] Maybe it was Moe and you think it's Arlene now. Just, I just walk in and I'm Arlene beer. Like what? So Ethan. Wait, uh, do a scene with, with Arlene. Uh, okay. Who is Arlene? Uh, played by Adam, I guess. St. Bernard's, uh, old friend. And you play that her too, if you want. Sure.

[00:25:35] So what are you doing in this scene in particular? Uh, so as is tradition, I cannot remember the three types of vignettes. Cope, bear burden, or engage in the community. But bear burden seems like it would be awfully appropriate at the moment. But, oh, is, is trauma the humanity threat? Is that like physical trauma? That is the threat of damage to yourself. Physical damage to yourself.

[00:26:04] Like, uh oh, I'm gonna get bitten. I think I may have got from being shot in the chest that one time. That'll do it. I can't remember exactly, but let's do, uh, let's do that. Seems appropriate. Okay. And can he, since he's already crumbled, can he actually go back on the other tracks and remove a column?

[00:26:29] Just remove the farthest right columns that you can actually remove. We'll just be putting a band-aid on this compound fracture. All right, so, so honey, what are we doing today? Ah, there's still a little bit of, uh, uh, stitching I've torn. You wear the bullet wound right there below the rib. Just like, he says that, but it's like thousand yards there.

[00:27:00] I was asking about lunch, but okay. Uh, so... She stared down at her grilled cheese sandwich as she's cooking. Oh, you need me to, so you need me to actually check his wound or something like that to see if the bone's set or anything? Stings a little bit. Give me self-control check there, St. Bernard. I'll reach out. I'm feeling around there. All right.

[00:27:30] All right, here we go. Three, red, zero, which is a ten. So you failed? So I have failed. You're here with the chest wound. And, you know, you go out there over the fence to help these people. And all you need is a little help, you know, stitch yourself back up, and she's talking about lunch. Oh, okay, honey. Like, is it this one?

[00:27:59] Oh, my finger... Oh, God, I don't think my finger's supposed to go that far into your chest. Oh, shit. Oh, oh, God. That's very uncomfortable. Why don't you just continue cooking breakfast at whatever meal we're at? What time is it? 10.30. It's brunch. And then there's the awkward silence.

[00:28:21] So you don't heal any humanity as Arlene goes off to, or helps you a little bit before just going back to lunch as you're just not in the mood to put up with her. I drink heavily instead. Ought or even, Ethan? Even. All right. Your sandwich is not burnt. At least we got that right.

[00:28:49] Man, though, you cut the crust off. And I cut it in half so it's manageable just for my little guy. Triangle is not down the middle, right? You're damn right. The way God intended it. You hear from Ward that she wants to tell you about a job that she has planned out. So you guys go to the fuel depot to meet up before hearing from her.

[00:29:19] And that's when Sparky, you're at the fuel depot as usual. You've thought things over. And you see your friends, three co-workers, sitting across the bar at a table together and talking. Not as usual. Sparky is sober. And he comes over. He's totally going to whip your ass. Oh, hey! Hey, how's it going, Sparky? It's been better.

[00:29:47] I did get a hold of RoadSalt. He's doing fine. He told me to tell you all that he's going to spend his first couple of weeks with them upgrading their network infrastructure because, I think he said, windows don't open in space. Oh, Jesus. I know. I didn't quite understand it, but hey. Well, it's good to... This is vast and mysterious. Yeah.

[00:30:16] So I guess you guys are down a man. And, you know, I may not look it, but I can be a help. You know, I'm really good with tools. And it's not like I, you know, live to this age being useless. Sparky, I'm worried. You're still sober. Yeah. Is everything all right? It's not, but it's going to be.

[00:30:42] You all could say no, but I talked it over with RoadSalt and he agrees, you know, I should go out and keep an eye on you all and keep you safe. What do you say? Well, if... This is like Falto looking at everybody else as well. It's like, I mean, well, if RoadSalt says it's good, then I mean, we can trust him, right? Right, guys? Oh, yeah. Elbows shake.

[00:31:12] I taught RoadSalt everything he knows except for his sense of humor. Yeah. He got that on his own. Well, we're happy to have you. We don't know what we're doing yet. And I just occurred. It occurs to shake that we're going to have to let the cat out of the bag that we're in bed with the moss. Yeah.

[00:31:39] But I, not being a player who wants to screw you all over, am not going to mention that verbally to your characters. Sparky's like, hey, fellas, what are we doing today? We're like, terrorism. Now, I know all you are looking kind of nervous in between you, but RoadSalt already told me about your lack of insect repellent. So, you know, don't worry too much about that. I'm on board. Huh?

[00:32:09] Yep. I elbow shake again. He said to say, um, lamp. Yeah, the lamp thing. Lamp. Fuck. No. They love lamp. Yeah, he does love lamp. That's part of why he's getting him to get rid of windows to go into space. You see, you see Shake's eyes like open up wide and he opens his mouth to almost let it out.

[00:32:35] And then I assume that he looks over and, uh, Balto is glaring daggers at him. He's like, I'm ready to like, my arm is ready to just slap over your mouth. It's like, don't you do it, you motherfucker. And then I just kind of close my mouth and meekly nod and then look down at my crotch for some reason because it doesn't. Okay. Have you ever been radicalized before?

[00:33:03] Well, I've been radical all my life. Excellent. You're a perfect fit. I glow in the dark. Oh. Sparky does a kickflip. Dubular. Oh, God. You hear Ward has a job for you. So you know that and you know it's going to be competition free. You can find out more information about that.

[00:33:30] It appears that one job that that one merchant who was stranded out in the loss was paying like 20 bounty for. It seems like some other crew must have been stupid enough to go after it because that's no longer on the market. But you could always see if there's another job available. We also have to find out what the price is for the Ward's job, right? Yeah.

[00:33:53] For Ward's job, you could ask around various moth contacts to try and find the price as well as the type of job it will be. And then you could also find additional jobs and information about that additional job. Can we huddle real quick on this? Out of character or in character? No, this isn't an X card. Okay. But, so gentlemen, look, we've got some connected.

[00:34:23] Is Sparky with this huddle as well? Yeah, Sparky would be involved. Look, we're doing all this stuff and blah, blah, blah. Good. Everything like that. I think that we need to see if we can get a little help finding something space-oriented to trade off to the little cadets. You know what I mean? To get Road Salt back.

[00:34:50] And I think that somebody connected, like, then he looks over at Balto and, like, connected. We'll be able to find us something that we could trade. What do you think? So, like, you're thinking of, like, trying to, like, look around and see if we can find something on our own? Or, like, seeing if anybody else is looking for something similar? I think we need to do some, we could do something like that.

[00:35:16] Or we could just try to add that into our negotiations for this. Kind of work, work them. Because, I mean, we've got two different ways to go about this. That's a loose end, but that's also a valuable asset that's lost in the field right now. Loose ends get, you know, stuff. Valuable assets get requisitioned, if you get what I'm saying.

[00:35:42] So, just food for thought as we go into this and moving forward. He's, like, we may be able to kind of work some leverage out with our people, with these people. Definitely if we do a real good job. Oh, okay. So, like, with our friends, like, we'll try and get them to give us a hand with our space case. Yeah. Okay, I see what you mean. I was worried for a second.

[00:36:09] I thought you were like, let's just go out into the wasteland and see if we can find some kind of space junk for them, for those nutters over at the space academy or camp or whatever. I was worried for a second. Oh, no, nothing like that. If you looked at my browser history, it'd be like space shit in the Midwest. You just, like, slide your tablet away. It's okay. So, just wanted to kind of add that out there.

[00:36:38] And, you know, so maybe we can get some help. Okay. So, with that in mind, I think that we probably need to grease the wheels a bit and where we can breach the subject with our benefactors. Maybe we should look into their job. What do you guys think? St. Bernard? Sparky? It's good to have friends in high places. It ain't higher than mine.

[00:37:08] Woo! Just gives you a slick, slow head turn. All right. So, I guess somebody... Well, we should probably... Do we want to... Let's find out and see if we can find, like, what they're planning on paying us as well. Because we also got to eat. And I got to gas up occasionally. Not necessarily in that order, apparently. Looks wistfully in the direction of the shambulance.

[00:37:39] So, what would you guys like to look into first? I think the price of the job. Sure. How are you going about doing that? I think I would probably do, like, a networking check, I think. I mean, to be frank with you. I almost feel like they should just tell us up front what it is and stuff like that. But I'm going to call up... What's the name of the moth person? Ward. Ward. I'm going to call up Ward and, like...

[00:38:09] Man, I got to... I'm going to start rattling on. Like, man, I got a lot of bills I got to pay, son. I mean, I got some stuff going on here. I need to at least make as I flip over to... My... Jesus Christ, 13 break even. I need at least 13 bounty on this job here. And I've been looking around. So, I guess I'm trying to yeehaw around there just to kind of see if it's going to be worth my while.

[00:38:39] Would you mind me... Allow me to do that with Ward since we have a pre-established relationship with a successful networking? If he would kind of just at least say, don't worry about it. Just stick with us. We'll be okay. Maybe something big like that. I don't know. Give me a networking check. All right. I feel like this is a stretch. So, am I pushing my limit, Nick? It would probably be more like you contact other moth people. Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. All right. So, I got a plus one in that.

[00:39:08] And that's a critical success. Four-four without being modified. It'd be five-four modified. Five-five. You find out not only that it's a 12 bounty starting price for this job, this is a sabotage job. Apparently, you need to go to a location and sabotage some of DHQS's assets on site. All right. I am fighting my urge to do the sabotage song.

[00:39:37] We've all got our mustaches now. Yeah. So, you know everything about Ward's job. With that critical success. I also want to toss out that we already have Ward's weak spot as well. Yes. Which is Moral High Ground. Did we find out the price, too, or just the particulars? 12 bounty starting price, and it is a sabotage job. Well, that's my break-even, so. Yeah. Ah, that's not going to cover mine.

[00:40:09] Sparky's got bills to pay. Hell yes. Can I do some... I'm trying to use my first aid to see if I can find... Maybe ask around. Maybe go do some rounds or help some people with some aches and pains and stuff like that. Doing medical stuff for people. Some medical checkups on certain people.

[00:40:34] And see if I can not, like, hear some gossip on, like, some other things that are going on around the place. Yeah, you can do that. Okay. So I can roll my first aid on that? Yes. Cool. That is 13 over 2. You hear that Brother John and some of his followers have come to the Enclave and are looking to hire some takers. Okay.

[00:41:02] Guys, a little earlier, I was helping out some people and asking around for some... Or asking around to see, like, what jobs were available and stuff. And it turns out Brother John and some of his people are asking around for some help for some... I'm not really sure on what the bounty would be, but it might be worth at least looking into to see if we can't, you know, get a little bit more. At least just see what we're getting into.

[00:41:31] See if we have some other options. I know people around the Enclave here pretty well. I could ask around a little bit to see if I can get the price on that job for you. Does that sound good? It's good by me, but what about you? I'll go... Looks at the others. Man, it's all good for me, man. If you want to check that out, I'm not really too crazy about sick of my head in a hornet's nest right now with the government. I don't trust them.

[00:42:01] Never did. And, yeah. So, mechanically speaking, we already... I did so well on my row. I think it's worth, you know, Sparky looking into it if he's up to it. Also, Brother John, who... Like, is he... He's new to the Enclave. If you guys haven't heard of him before. Okay, so we don't know what his crew is all about, or what his group is about. No. Okay. Finding the other job would be a helpful negotiating tactic, if nothing else.

[00:42:33] Do we want to know the price, or what the job's about? Or do we want to know about that one? Because I can find out either thing. Price is probably the... I don't know. What if Brother John's helping the DHQS, huh? What if he's doing that, and we're just getting ready to end up inadvertently double-crossing ourselves? But, uh... That's a good point. I think it's more important we figure that out, if you ask me.

[00:43:01] At some point, Nick cursed under his breath at my clever deduction. I chuckled. And I was going to make the snide comment of, Let's just leave all these problems behind and join the spacers in Rhodes Salt and go to Mars. I'm going to roll networking to figure out the particulars of that job. That is a natural 6-6.

[00:43:28] I'm going to stomp on over to the bartender, Mo. Because, you know, he knows people who come through here. He knows people who travel and have met other people. And you see me in some close conversation with him for a little bit. And then I come back and give you some exposition about what his job's about. Yeah, you hear that Brother John is offering 16 bounty for whatever starting price for whatever crew wants to take their job.

[00:43:55] And the reason why the contact knew about it is because the chain gang, some of the other miners who were part of Hatch who got fed up and started taking, were talking about it. They were looking into possibly taking Brother John's job as well. So you know the price and the competition. Well, that does pay better, but it's still not paying all that much better. And we got competition. Hey, I gave you a 20 bounty job and you passed it up.

[00:44:26] We were trying to do the right thing. I mean, they were trying to do the right thing. Saw how well that went. I mean, Brownie and Adam really saw how well that went. Oh, and Ethan with that crumble. It's related. True. Directly related. Oh, I know what you mean, Nick. Yeah. So the only thing left to find, Ethan, is the type of job Brother John is offering.

[00:44:56] I will say for free that you don't hear any other mutterings about possible jobs on the market. Oh, I mean, does it sound like we have any interest in that job or? It pays better, but yeah, I see your point, Shaq. If this happens to be working against the Maws, we're just going to be shooting ourselves in the foot. I mean, honestly, we've already got the line on it.

[00:45:23] I don't think that's a bad move for us to follow that through for a while. And like I said, maybe we can work in a little bit of a bonus, so to speak, to where maybe we get some help later down the road with... Some goodwill. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I could always find out what the job is just to know. You might as well. I mean, we already got everything else about the other...

[00:45:53] Well, except we could increase the price, could we not? That's a scam action. Oh, yeah. Sorry. It's okay, Sparky. You're new to this. No, I'm kidding. Your colleague, what you think is best, man? I mean, there's almost no reason not to find out what the job is, right? Like... Yeah. I can do awareness eavesdropping on other takers.

[00:46:24] Okay. Yeah, that's good. All right. Well, Black 4, Red 6, so, you know, continues. You don't overhear any information. That's, uh... Oh, yeah. With the... Even with the plus two, that would be a tie of 6-6, and ties go to the market, so fail again. Yeah. I mean, you can tap a reference if you want, but you'd have to pass a self-control check to put up with them. Hmm. I don't know if it's that important. I think you're fine.

[00:46:55] So my history of passing, not just self-control checks, but any check so far has not been great. Hmm. Well, which job would you guys like to go after? I will put my hand in with the moths, as much as it's going to hurt me, probably financially. Well, like Rootsalt says, I love lamp. Like Sparky says, I like people in high places.

[00:47:25] You guys hear that Ward has actually moved into Hatch, and has been spending her time down in the mines. More specifically with the archivists, keeping... Or as you guys believe, keeping an eye on the vast arsenal they are hoping to grow in there. Maybe not trusting some crazy people to, uh... Completely safeguard it. Weird. Weird. Weird. No, this H-bomb... This H-bomb needs to be in a museum. So do you! No, sorry.

[00:47:58] They just... They just what? Like... Stuff. Like kill and stuff. Ward is an example... Prime example of the anti-government movement. They file her under M. For moth. Oh no. It's like, trust me, in a couple of centuries, you'll be a perfect relic. Crazy people with a good catalog system. We need more moths for our collection. Oh god.

[00:48:25] You walk in, there's pins pinned more to the wall. Exactly. You head down into the mine of St. Bernard, and make your way over to where Ward has set up a little war room in the back of the archivist area. You knock, you hear, uh, come in, come in! Oh, hello, St. Bernard! Hello. Uh, hear about that job, I presume? I presume correctly. Good.

[00:48:53] You did such a good job the past few jobs. Um, I'm sorry about your teammate, but I'm... I'm coordinating, or I'm seeing what I could do about bringing him back to hatch. Um, don't worry. Uh, we moths, unlike the DHQS, we don't leave anybody behind. Oh, certainly not. He just, like, thinks about, like, I left a man behind. You sit down and make that leadership check

[00:49:23] to see how this starts off. Ah! All those bad rolls have paid off. Here we go. Uh, that is a eleven over two. Ooh! Nice. Um, what is the natural black? Fine. You guys have five rounds of negotiation. Would you like to go first, or second? Uh, why don't I go first? We know his, uh, his weak spot, don't we? Her weak spot, yes.

[00:49:52] Um, moral high ground. Believes that they have a noble, uh, she and the moths have noble cause, and that makes her right over everybody else that's not the moths. Ward, I am, uh, I and the rest are certainly ready to embrace the cause once again. In fact, we've, uh, recruited a replacement. This zealotry is equal to our own. Oh, who's this, um, this new, new person?

[00:50:21] Have they passed your, your vetting process and everything? They certainly have passed the vetting process. He goes by Sparky. Never heard of him, but I, I trust that if you're willing to work with him, it'll be alright. Oh, you soon will hear of him. Okay. Give me persuasion check. Bright young lad, a real rising star. I have over one. What are your spots,

[00:50:51] St. Bernard? Uh, top spot, men is maketh man. Uh, weak spot, we are the walking dead. She's going to go, yes, yes, uh, Sparky. Sounds good, sounds good. And, and just lean back and, and read your, uh, final spot so she knows both your spots. Um, so you move up one and, uh, she stays put.

[00:51:21] So, scam, first scam action. Uh, could I rule, um, networking to try and get her, uh, because I assume we want, we want, like, soft spot? You can find soft spot or tough spot. Oh, we can also do the tough spot. Yeah, I'll, I'll go for the, the soft spot through, uh, networking. If that's cool. Unless somebody else has any, have objections. No, I'm fine. No? Okay, cool.

[00:51:51] Yeah, so I'm basically just, like, browsing her, um, her, I'm looking through her, like, her lifelines, I guess. See, like, her lifelines profile to see if I can, can't, uh, sniff out some details about her for her soft spot. Make that roll. Uh, that is, oh, um, that is 10 black, 10 red, um, but not natural. Not natural. Do you want to spend a will or a tap a reference? Um, dude,

[00:52:21] your call, man, like, I will tap a reference because I've not done that really at all. In this game, so. Keep things flowing, uh, just mark off the reference and you find out her soft spot is preserve the innocents. That is one of the biggest reasons why she's in this to fight the DHQS. She sees all the havoc and chaos that the stewards make, or,

[00:52:51] you know, it's claimed that the stewards make and really just wants to preserve those out there who are just trying to make a buy, who are innocent, who aren't in this war between the moths and the DHQS. So that is a big, big thing for her. All right. So that is another spot for you to use St. Bernard. Also, I should probably spend a charge, correct? On my, on my Yupix specs. Yes, that would be a charge on Yupix specs. Um, so would you like to go first or second, St. Bernard?

[00:53:20] Go first again. That was her tough spot? That was her weak, that was her soft spot. So you still have her weak spot and soft spot. We know both? You know both. Moral high ground and preserve the innocence. Oh, I'm so glad you, uh, were eager to hear of Sparky and, uh, soon-to-be pursuits in the global goal without claws. Yeah, I can assure you, my, he's already met my, uh, my young daughter,

[00:53:50] who, I think, may know her, Anna. Uh, yes, I think you've talked about her before, yes. That's quite a lovely child. Just turned, just turned eight, eight years old. Grow up so fast, don't they? Yes, yes, they do. So young, so innocent. Give me that persuasion check. It's, uh, twelve over eight. Twelve over eight, success. She's going to go.

[00:54:19] I am surprised that you bring that up because I thought that, um, you wouldn't fight for the innocent. I, I thought that you were just fighting for the, the sake of fighting just to, to keep on going because, um, I thought you thought we were already dead, that we are, you know, the walking dead, lives are meaningless, just keep on going until we eventually succumb to the blight or, or die. Um,

[00:54:48] the death's inevitable. Um, I'm just surprised that you would say that. So she's playing your spot. We are the walking dead. Uh, you can defend against it with deception. Let's do it. Dice have been hot, this negotiation. Let's go again. Ooh. Yeah. That's a six over three. Nice. Uh,

[00:55:17] so she only moves one and you move two. You are at hazard pay. She is at a hundred percent markup. Um, and we go into the second scam. You guys can price fix. You guys can find a tough spot. I got an idea. Um, Nick, do you remember the, um, special party piece for Sparky that we talked about? Yes, I believe so. And if not, I'm sure once you mention it, I will remember, but I know I okayed it. Yep. So, um,

[00:55:48] would you allow persuasion for Sparky to write a note about his special skill set and capabilities that will be very, very beneficial on this job for, uh, St. Bernard to pass to, uh, Ward, uh, make, making that a persuasion role on why, on what, what he's, what he's bringing to the table, quote unquote, that will make this job more of a success potentially? What effect are you, you looking for? Uh,

[00:56:17] fix the price, make it more expensive. This, this is the, what we're willing to devote to doing your job for you. Can you pay us a little more, uh, to bring on this kind of, uh, skill set? Okay, uh, sure. Uh, give me that persuasion check to see how well you can whip up a persuasive profile. Okay. That is a 11 over 8. What is the natural black? Uh, 10. 10. Okay. Um, so when you were previously talking

[00:56:47] about Sparky and bringing on a new teammate, St. Bernard, you handed her a little dossier folder for her to add to her collection of agents. Yeah, the Sparky handed to you and asked you not to read. They said, he said it was for her eyes only and you'd find out why later. She finally opens it up. You hear her, her talk about something and she mentions that she's willing to up the starting price of the job by 10 bounty. So now the starting price of the job

[00:57:16] is 22 bounty. And we proceed into round three of five. So, St. Bernard, would you like to go first or second? I guess, I guess I'll go first again. My dad, you can see in that letter, a good friend, Rhodes. Nope, not Rhodes. Spike. Crumbled brain is like, you, you actually say that you just like Rhodes Sparky.

[00:57:47] Rhodes Sparky, good old Rhodes Sparky. As you can see from that letter, good friend Sparky there. He is talented and, he's quite, really in this moral cause of ours. I see that he's definitely qualified. Uh, but you say he's, he's got the morals for it? Does. Or of heart that one. Okay. Roll persuasion. To the fact, he could have retired ages ago,

[00:58:16] but he's been working for the betterment of the community down in the salt mines or something. Oh, look. It was starting to come to these roles. Will. Spender will point. Flip that three and the eight. That's a success. She is going to go. You, sir, are, there, I have to say that you are one of the

[00:58:44] most gentlemanly negotiators I've, I've come across. Uh, you definitely are, um, nice and generous and listen. And it's not, it hasn't evolved into a shouting match. You, you definitely have some chivalric, chivalric nature there, but that doesn't translate well to the field completely out there. It's, you know, casualties chasing you, gunfire, bandits, DHQS.

[00:59:13] And I, I just need to know. Yes, you've performed well on these, these simple missions, but we're confronting the DHQS. Now I need to know that you were willing to put away your manners. Because the DHQS won't reciprocate. So she's playing your, your spot. Manners make it the man. Oh, dare she? I can defend with deception again. Yes. It could be like, uh, I only do it for you, my dear. Or, or,

[00:59:40] or something else that you come up with. Uh, nuts. It's a fail. So like he like flashes back to, um, flashes back to brunch. It's like, I can put away my manners whenever I want to, but just not convincing enough. Uh, so you both push two and you don't move. You guys just on hazard pain, a hundred percent mark off. So scam. Scam.

[01:00:11] Who's got a scam left? I believe Adam. That's me. Uh, you can find a tough spot, uh, tough spot, or I guess if you really want to try and fix that price even more. Uh, I feel like the best thing would be the stuff spot to be frank. Probably. Also, did I hear that right earlier? We got 22 bounty now because of the, because of Sparky. Yeah. You got a natural. Damn. Nice. Okay. Okay. Man, such a giver. Mm hmm.

[01:00:42] All right. So I believe I will to get the tough spot. I think, uh, would it be appropriate if I use scavenging to go through the junk coming out of the, uh, the archivist? Mine. What junk? Sure. Keep everything. Through the little trash that they throw out. I mean, I, I've, I've also got like, uh, uh, criminality and stuff like that.

[01:01:10] So I could try to steal something and all that. So. No, I like scavenge. It's a classic. Yeah. I just, I'm just, I'm going through the shredded document. I'm lining everything up. There's a cut scene of me, you know, walking in the house with, uh, a plastic bag for, which is great. Cause we have to, you got two plastic bags of trash. You take one and dump it over and a whole bunch of just rotted food comes out. You're like, Oh fuck. And then you flip over the second one and that's when the papers come out. Yeah, exactly. You're like,

[01:01:39] I should have looked before I dumped this. Damn it. All right. Uh, so that is a plus one and yeah, six over one. So what did, what kind of stuff do I find going out of their communication wise? That would indicate her, uh, you find out that this is a location that is in the outer section of, um, St. Louis. But yeah,

[01:02:06] the job site is going to be just on the outer part of a major city, which, you know, post, oh, it's Kansas city, not St. Louis, Kansas city. I got my DHQS black sites wrong. Wait, black set. No, I mean not black sites. Uh, don't worry about it. Dark, dark gray sites. It's fine. I mean, fun sites, but yeah, it's,

[01:02:36] it's just outside Kansas city. So you know that you will be a near a hot, hot site. Yeah. Super fun site without the D. Yeah. Oh, is it actually super fun site? Yeah. Okay. I've always, I always thought, uh, I've always heard it as the super fun site. I've never actually heard it as the other one. Okay. I mean the ball pit at Chuck E. Cheese is pretty dirty, but no. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:03:05] The asbestos killer. Yeah. So that's, that's a tough spot. You're going to go into a hot zone with lots of casualties, potentially, but most likely. And what, and what are, uh, you know, grand leader sees when I present to him a, uh, sits together map or something like that, that would have things circled and all that. And I look at it and I hand it to him real please. And he shares at me blankly. And then he looks at where we're going and frowns.

[01:03:34] And we cut the camera cuts right to that frown. Word will start and go, okay, so you guys have the, the, uh, a tacky person to replace road salt. That's good. Because this X, the expertise is needed on this job. You've probably figured out this is a sabotage job. We're going to be sabotaging some DHQS equipment to make our job easier on us down the road,

[01:04:00] which is why I've managed to secure you guys some supplies to help you with the job. She goes out the door for second and comes back with an electronics kit. She goes, here's a, here's a whole electronics kit for you to mess with some of the DHQS systems. I'm sure Sparky can figure out how to use it. She went first. I assume. Yes. And she gave you a gift. Well, that will be, I'm sure quite useful. Of course,

[01:04:31] of quite a bit of use in a super fun site, as it were, be the most valuable thing I keep on me at all times. This pistol here. As well, you know, I was a fenceman. I can pull the trigger with any amount of lightness or rudeness, but either way I can find the bridge of a casualty's nose in my sleep. Hard not to bring the hand up right now.

[01:05:00] Okay. Um, give me a persuasion check. Let's see. That should be seven over three. You guys both push two and you're still at a hundred percent markup and hazard pay. Okay. So you guys don't have another scam because road salt does not make a triumphant return, which means we skip right to round five. Intimidate. Nothing will work. I mean, yeah, that was,

[01:05:29] that was my thought was intimidate to things off by going first and intimidate. So brother, John, he, he ain't dicking us around. Uh, would you like to, to go first St. Bernard or should word go first? It would like to go first. Okay. Oh, then it seems. We are on in agreement. I think it's high time. We. I hadn't be about her business after all. Without us.

[01:05:59] Cause might very well be lost. Would hate to. I would hate to have to walk away to my companions empty handed. You were trying to intimidate. Yes. Subtly implying like, well, you need us. So I could walk away right now and fuck you over. I'm polite about it. Oh, double nines. Can I.

[01:06:27] Then the will to downgrade that to a failure or would it really matter? No, it matters. Probably. I'm going to be honest with you. It probably wouldn't matter. You're better off holding onto that. Cause. The, the failure to intimidate doesn't like, you don't automatically force yourself to move down. It's just that you don't move up. Yeah. Which would happen on a failure anyway. That's what I figured. Cause he's too damn polite.

[01:06:55] The threat just doesn't land. Word goes. Cause I was right about the manners thing. Wasn't I? Oh, that's cute. Yeah. I'm going to hold onto some money because we're going to need it for future operations. And like I said, we want to get road salt back. So I'm going to need to hold onto some money for that too. So I'm not going to pay you as much because think of it as an investment further down the line. We're already giving you a whole bunch of money. Plus you guys have the shambles.

[01:07:26] You guys can pick up stuff off the road. And these archivists here, they'll give you anything for a shiny hubcap or whatever. So she'll, she'll push one. You go down to labor and she stays at hazard pay. So give me that final leadership check. That's my leadership. Makes it a tie, which goes to the market. Do you want to use a will? Yeah, I think I do. So you guys are at hazard pay.

[01:07:55] Start rowing up Moe. Ethan. So, so what is, what is everyone's, is everyone's break point three, except St. Bernard's is five. Is, or does somebody have two dependents? Not yet. 16 earlier. The fuck? Sorry. Probably Balto's break, or point is my break point is four.

[01:08:26] Oh, mine's three. Uh, Nick, I do have a, a question about the character sheet too, dude. It sounded like you were about to say complaint, but no, I'm kidding. Yeah. Yeah. What's your question? Oh, okay. Well, it's saying my maintenance is nine and I've got only two items and I know it's 1.5. Yes. But that would make my handgun would be, are you also including your backpack in the cost of rations on the front page? Oh, that's included too. Yeah. Oh,

[01:08:57] okay. I'll adjust my bounty. Okay. That makes sense then. Yeah. I, I, I will take your comment and note it down. Maybe I should not include the backpack in the rations, but I will, I will take that under advisement and ponder. Okay. At least I feel like I've accomplished something for future generations. So it's okay. No, it's good. They don't worry about it. Three, three, four and five is 15. Sparky only has one dependent, right?

[01:09:27] Sparky. Correct. Okay. And it's road salt. Yes. So 22 plus 15 is 37. Plus it's only two legs. Yay. So two bounty per taker per leg, which is eight. Vignette. 45 bounty, 45 bounty. All right. Let's split four ways. That's a 11 and one person gets 12. We're going to have to pick up some goodies along the way. Yeah.

[01:09:57] By the way, guys, I just like to point out, I have three charges for the, for the, for the shambulance. Did you see Adam's comment about you getting more bounty than everybody else for the last one? I did. Okay, good. Just wanted to figure that in. Oh, for wait, I got, okay. Hang on. You would, you would get an extra one bounty the way it broke down. It was 19.33. So if Nick wants to French, you want 0.1%. Just break that bounty in half.

[01:10:26] I will front you the one corner of an ID card. Yeah. You can always sell the vehicle, but so, um, more telling you that, um, the DHQS has a set up a speaker system throughout the Kansas city, especially downtown Kansas city area, where they've wired a bunch of sirens to the buildings and set up a network. That way, all the casualties that are in the city,

[01:10:54] stay in the city and don't flood out into the various farmlands where Alassine, um, has set up farms along with, with the help of helping hands. And so the casualties don't gunk up the various auto harvesters that frond engineering has leased out. It saves both manpower, maintenance, and such like that.

[01:11:20] If someone was to go into one of the buildings and work some magic on one of the sirens hooked up to the network, and let the moths get a little peek inside, um, when it comes closer to the time of the attack, that system could mysteriously no longer work. And manpower stationed in settlement Liberty would have to be dispersed into the greater area,

[01:11:47] making the general forces that you guys would have to attack be a smaller amount. So that is what this mission is. You are going to set up a future sabotage. You're sabotaging now so you can set up problems down the line and not have to worry about as many soldiers shooting at you. Okay. Word says that if you travel down and meet up with the Kansas, uh, river and take that into the city, you'll eventually come to a failed, uh, failed, um, enclave.

[01:12:18] That was called bridges. Apparently they had linked a bunch of buildings together with rope bridges into the sort, but, um, it went dark and is assumed to be a failure. Um, and that's where one of the siren networks has been set up. It seems like the DHQS moved in, took over the existing infrastructure that was set up by the failed enclave, and then just put a speaker there.

[01:12:47] Any questions? I sell my shambulance for a boat. No. Uh, no, not offhand. Is it possible since we're getting ready to like, can they at least provide us with a narrative mass to wear? So to speak. So we're not just, you know exactly where to go. Yeah. Yeah. So you, you've, you've got the route, you know where to go. It's not like I'm going to make you drive randomly through the city streets. No. Looking up ahead for a speaker. I mean,

[01:13:17] an actual, honest to God mask. Oh, so. Yeah. Is that like narratively we can have those? So. Uh, yes, you could, you could have a mask for free. I'm not going to have you charge a bounty to get like a piece of cloth to put across your face. And then you're going to charge me 1.5 piece of bounty for. The stingy red markets game. You chose that character, Adam. I did. I was like, fuck it. Nobody's picked it before.

[01:13:48] Ah, so great. No, I'm not salty about that. I was just. No, no, it is a good point. I should probably, uh, think about that further. Great. Just think about, oh yeah. Identification. If, if, if, if I, if I do change it out of, I will let you take it into effect. Are you charging me for the extra refresh? I can haul to like, I mean, like mechanically, I'm just curious. no. Okay. I was going to say that would be like, really like, Oh, you get this extra ability and I'm going to charge you for it.

[01:14:19] That would be red markets. Um, so any, any, any preparation you guys would like to do before they leave the enclave? Are you going to take the shamblings? Oh yeah. Shoot. Yeah. I actually, I addressed you guys like, do, should we, because like we, this seems like more of a stealthy kind of thing. And the shamblance is not stealthy. It like looks at the big, dirty white coverings and the, the S, uh, an H on the ambulance. Now, I think we only need stealth once we get there.

[01:14:49] And we need the shamblance to be able to, uh, pack some additional bounty into our legs. Does the S on that thing not stand for stealth? I wish it did. I wish it did. Damn it all. Well, let me tell you, I don't know what kind of life you lived. I mean, I'm right with the Lord right now, but I'm, who am I kidding? I'm not, but, uh, listen, if they, it's a DHQS even caught word of that, our vehicle driving anywhere out there. And this thing goes tits up anyway,

[01:15:19] even if we got out of there, if they'd seen the shamblance in the, in the region, then, you know, they're going to have us pegged. I mean, shit, they probably got drones flying around doing surveillance anyway. Like, I think that as much as I hate walking, uh, I think that the best bet would be to leave it behind. And then, uh, that's one less thread that can lead back home. Yeah. I mean, so far we've been pretty, uh, uh,

[01:15:48] they know you have that. We've been pretty lucky about not, you know, pissing them off, but like, this is definitely going to go on their radar. Yeah. If, I mean, if we did it perfectly, then no, not know till it's too late, but if we mess up, like, I'm just saying you all make your decision. I just think contingency wise, we should, uh, hedge our bets a little bit. I really think we should take it on the first two legs and then enter the actual job site on foot,

[01:16:17] but that's just me. Okay. Out of character. So I'm going to roll, I'm going to roll, uh, uh, a, uh, stress check when, uh, when we leave, when we, when I have to abandon my, my baby. No, no, no, don't worry. I, I'm going to make you do all that. If you have to abandon your precious vehicle. I do want to offer, see if we could do, if we're going to take that particular, uh, path that Brownie has suggested there.

[01:16:43] Can we at least do some research and figure out a good spot to leave it? That would be safe. Like, can we narratively like go through the maps and I check everything and find a good, give me a research check. Oh, that ain't me, but that's somebody else. I can, I will, uh, research. Yeah. Using like Ubix and, and you map. I'll burn a charge. If you don't have Ubix, I'll burn a charge. Uh, by the way, do we have goal net? Uh,

[01:17:13] I do not have goal net. Do you have Ubix, Ethan? I do. Let's see. Like I'll buy it. I've got Ubix, but no, I just got optimized. Uh, I have it with goal net. Okay. So, okay. Okay. So we can jump off of yours. Yeah. Um, I got, yeah, I got a seven over three for research to research that up. You find just outside the city,

[01:17:40] there is a nice little low bridge that you believe you can hide your car under and black it off from view, like both aerial view and from side view. And with any luck, it doesn't become somebody else's leg. About that. It'd be really funny if like in your, your red markets game that you guys played like earlier this week, there was a leg with a ship with an ambulance. Hey, prophetic. All right. Doing awareness check. Oh,

[01:18:10] I see two normal guys and an asshole keeps talking about how he was right. Like, yeah, that way. They encountered something much worse than an ambulance. Oh, good. Yeah. But also no ambulance. You guys get ready to head out. And that's when Sparky comes up to you with, Hey guys, I need your help to, uh, to load this crate into the back of the shambelance. Uh, can you, can you help me with this thing here? And it's a roughly, you know,

[01:18:40] a little bit bigger than human size, uh, wooden crate. Uh, it's, it's equipment for the mission. Um, just, just help me, help me lift it up in here. It's all right. I got it. You try to shift one end of it. It's going to take more than just you to lift it up in there. It's heavy. And when you tilt it at an angle, you hear like a nice solid thud against the side of the crate. Lord, what is in that rocks? It,

[01:19:09] it's equipment for the mission. Go ahead. Load that in there. You'll find out a little bit later. Uh, yeah, yeah. I guess Balto also like jumps out of the drive, out of the driver's side and, gives, gives a shake a hand. It's a surprise tool. That will help us later. Who has the electronics kit? It is also tailored. So it's not, not clunky. Uh, I, what would you spend to use? What's the benefit? I'm not familiar with that piece of equipment. Somebody,

[01:19:35] it allows you to do mechanics checks on like electrical equipment and stuff like that. And spend charges. And spend charges. Yeah. I have, uh, only one point of mechanics. This work, he has more than I think it would be better for him. I've got one point of mechanics, but two points of mine engineer. Mine engineer would probably help. Yep. Yeah. We get done with this. We could, if we don't keep it, we can sell what's left of it. Mm-hmm. All right. Oh, God damn. So we,

[01:20:04] we lifting an anvil of a sort. It's all right. You, you lift the, the anvil into the back of the shamblings. And after loading up and making sure everything is secure, is it going to be Balto driving St. Bernard in the passenger seat up front? Like the past few times. I think he's got the best awareness. All right.

[01:20:30] The snipers give the all clear that there's no casualties in the vicinity. I can roll mechanics, don't I? Or is it just drive? I will only make you roll mechanics when you're out in the field. Okay. Thank God. Not, not leaving the enclave. I got to make sure you get on the mission before I can, you know. I'm sorry, Cass, the shamblings did not start today. It's too cold a weather. Unless you want to fake it. Then it would be a deception check. Can somebody bring a solar panel over here and like, we got, we got to boost it.

[01:21:00] Oh God. You head out through the gate. No self-control check this time. You've, you've gotten over your, your jitters plus road salts out there and you guys have to go get them back. And you drive off. So mark off that charge of fuel, that precious, precious fuel. How much fuel do we have? We have two now. Do we have enough to make it back? That is a question of the day. what's, what's, what's red con that and say we like, what's not like, we wouldn't have drove out the,

[01:21:30] at the door without gas. Don't make it. We had three charges. By the way, if I, if I lose this car, I'm going LA LA. Same, same Bernard. You're driving, you're, you're being driven along and you are on your way to meet the Kansas river. And you're passing through a slightly forested area, but with some, some open fields. Um, and you spot down the road ahead, sort of like a hunting blind in one of the trees. You can give me the wings check.

[01:22:01] And this is where we get sniped. Yep. That's a fail. Hmm. Yeah. You just see a hunting blind coming up on the right. In a tree. Okay. Uh, I assume I don't see it. So we just keep going. Yep. Just, just tracking. It's up to St. Bernard. If he, if he wants to point it out. Oh, so we actually did see it. Yeah. Yeah. He, he saw it. He doesn't see anything else besides just the hunting blind up in the tree.

[01:22:31] I'm doing blind up there. Oh, uh, uh, is anything else to see? Just, just that, um, that alone cannot stress enough. How little else I see. I slow down a little bit and, um, I guess like pull the, uh, I can't remember like an ambulance is they have like a little like shunt or like, uh, like to like speak in the back. Or is it like just a little entryway? It's just a little entryway. Yeah. In the entryway. Yeah. So I just call back.

[01:23:01] It's like, guys, uh, uh, do we want to stop? There's a, there's like a hunting, hunting cover or something out near us. Uh, St. Bernard says, it says it's just that she doesn't see, he doesn't see anything else. Well, mechanically we need a, we need more money. He says it looks clear. Oh, I mean, I have, I have trust St. Bernard in his, uh, cataracts implicitly. Yeah. I'll hop out. I would like to,

[01:23:30] do I get an awareness check or? Yeah. When you're looking at it, you can give me an awareness check. I slap shake with a glove. Impugn my honor. Okay. It's 10 over nine. So this hunting blind is sort of like, there's planks nailed into the tree. And then there's like a, a wooden platform sticking off of the tree. You look up and you see what looks like a person sitting in a chair, but they're, they're,

[01:23:58] you can't really see like them from the back back, but from the, like the, the back of the shoulder that you can see, they're facing away from you. Uh, no movement though. I'll be following him on foot. Hmm. So they obviously probably heard us. Like, I mean, it had to be dead or blind, not to hurt the scene. The animals drive by and heard the door shut. It sounded like you said dead or blind, but I'm going to assume that you meant deaf or blind. No, he may be dead too.

[01:24:29] Uh, look, uh, he may have something up or with him. Um, you think I should come up here? Sparky. See what we got. Oh, what? Sorry. Uh, Sparky. Yep. Yep. Yep. I'm with you. I'm with you. All right. Uh, look, Hey, you, does he move? No movement. Uh, I can go walk up and, tap him on the shoulder with the end of my shotgun. Uh,

[01:24:59] he's up. I think he's up a tree. Isn't he? He's up in the tree. Yeah. Look, do you got, is that all you got to shotgun? No. Also heft my big wrench. A little unsteadily. I'm going to hand you my handgun. Is it silenced? Yeah. Everything. Dude, that's, that's, there's two things Adam Thornsburg does in RPG. In Call of Cthulhu, he has seven, at least 60 or 70 in Dodge. And in Red Marcus, he always has a silenced weapon. Wait, so, so,

[01:25:29] shake, are you sending the new guy up into the tree? No. No. I mean, you guys don't cover him. Yeah. New guys cover me with something. It's not going to paper me with shot. Okay. Then the old man up into a tree. First day on the job. You better limber up. I mean, I could definitely do it. He's going to do the, do the dirty work. I do got, uh, well, shit. I will let you know that I have athletics at three.

[01:25:58] I wish I had, I put all my points in Malay for some reason, instead of an armed. That sucks. How about you take the wrench? Sir? Yeah. I'll take the wrench. Old man strength. Well, not strength, just Bendy. So, I'll, do you mind swapping out the wrench with me? No, by all means. All right. So, I'm going to climb up into the tree cautiously. Now, I'm kind of wanting to, like,

[01:26:26] I'm probably asking something that only, it doesn't matter, but is it boards nailed up to get up into the tree, or do they actually got, uh, there's. A board, like, boards nailed into the tree. Like, okay. A tree house sort of situation, I think. They also got these things that screw into a tree for like pegs, but okay. Um, yeah, I'll, uh, shimmy up that. You just like shaking the person on the shoulder or tapping them with the wrench or.

[01:26:55] Or I'm looking real quick. Like when I get up there, I'm kind of looking to see if I see breathing, no movement, no breathing. Um, you see a hunting rifle across the person's lap. Cause you see the, the, the butt of the gun, just sort of just slightly sticking out. And from over the corner, you could see that the person has binoculars in their hand held tightly.

[01:27:24] And as you get closer, you smell sort of like a sweet sickly smell. Hmm. Hmm. Could be, it could have turned. I, I kind of, uh, I think he's dead. Stand. I'm still training the gun on what's going on up there. You see me reaching up to grab his leg and I'm going to try to jerk the dead body out of the blind onto the ground. So I'm,

[01:27:53] I'm reaching up with like, I'm holding off my left hand, reaching up with my right hand, grabbing, you know, you jerk him out of the chair that he sent. Yeah. Jerk him out of the chair and onto the ground. So would that be a strength check? No, I'll just say that you, you do it. You, you jerk him out of the chair and before you could jerk, they fall out of the chair and onto the floor of the blind. Um, and before you, you jerk them again, you, you see the full body before you could jerk them further to the ground. Uh,

[01:28:23] it appears this person has died recently. You don't see any black veins or anything, just the slight start of decay. The thing is this person, it still has the binoculars in their hand, like arms, like the elbows at 90 degree angles, angles with the binoculars in their hands, death grip. Uh, and they have just a look like the thing that gets you though, is their face eyes are wide open and glazed. And their mouth is just frozen, a gape, like a look of horror across their face.

[01:28:54] So I'm telling you, you should look the direction they were looking. You ain't. So I'll get, this ain't going to be good. So I'm going to go ahead and climb the rest of the way up. And, uh, I guess take the binoculars and look in the direction of the way they were looking. Give me a self-control check. 10 over 7. 10 over 7. Just lose one to trauma. Okay.

[01:29:23] What are you wearing right now? Describe what Shake is wearing. It looks like. I like that. That's my question. All right. Shake is wearing his, uh, baklava, but it's not down around his face yet. It's just around it. Like up over his head. Shake is also wearing a pair of black, uh, Oh, I wouldn't say black, but like a hundred green cargo pants and a black, uh,

[01:29:51] sublime t-shirt that's for 40 ounces of freedom, which is a good apple. So you look out, uh, this, this blind looks out into a field down below, very distant and you pull up your binoculars and you see movement. Looks like a single figure moving across and you zoom in further and it's a casualty. It has the same, well,

[01:30:18] it looks like it has the same little wisps of hair color as you and a balaclava around its head and the boots with the green cargo shorts, except it's sort of limping as it goes. Like it's got bit or injured on that one cargo short. And it's wearing the same t-shirt as you, except like in the shoulder area, there's just a huge wound where the blood's crept down over the, the shirt. And,

[01:30:43] and that's when it stops like it's nose it's being looked at and it just slowly straightens and looks up in your direction. It looks directly at you and it's you. It's you. It's you as a casualty. And you swear it's miles when it recognizes that you recognize it. And you see the binoculars start to tremble and shakes hands.

[01:31:10] And he stares at it for a long second and then hurriedly drops the, I assume that the binoculars have like a, the, uh, the binoculars have a, uh, uh, sling or strap to them. Yep. So, so, I mean, they're hanging around my neck. I'll grab the hunting rifle, nudge the body over. And as I shimmy down, I'm going to go, uh, searching, searching, searching. We gotta go. We gotta go. Do you need me to come up and help you scavenge?

[01:31:39] I'm half. So what are the rest of us see? If we just like kind of look around the area though, I'll just trees. You can see like an open field in the distance down below. He's sort of like on a slight hill. We're in an awful hurry. I stopped midway down when he's talking about scavenging and I'm gonna, I'm kind of, okay. Okay. So I've got the hunting rifle slung over my shoulder. Hang check to see if it's loaded. As I'm crawling back up,

[01:32:08] I want to, um, I've done drugs. This is the character. This isn't Adam. I'm not confessing anything to you guys right now, but like I've done drugs before and I've done hallucinogens and things like that. when I get to the top before I quickly scavenge around, when I look around the eye hole of, I mean, the eyepieces for the binoculars, does it look like there's like a film or a grimy kind of like, am I,

[01:32:38] I'm starting to wonder if I'm hallucinating. No, it, it doesn't, it doesn't seem like that. Okay. Scaven check. Oh God, what do I got in scavenging? I got a one. That's a failure. There's nothing up there. I've got one. I need a hunting rifle and your new trusty binoculars. Of doom. Of doom. Uh, I guess that would probably also count for the corpse on the ground. Yes. We can't,

[01:33:06] we can't double dip on that. No double dipping. Okay. So I'll go ahead and make my way down. Sparky. Dude, I just fucking like, and then I think back to, I start to tell you what I saw. And then I just shut up. All right. Let's, let's get out here. All right. Here's your handgun. Thanks. Here's your wrench. Oh, thanks. Like, do you want, is there, I mean, it's obvious I'm shaking.

[01:33:37] Um, like, I don't even know if there's really an awareness check or a sensitivity check you need to make to know that whatever I saw up there, it's a scared of shit out of me. Are we all right there? Should we just move on? As, uh, as a player, I want to tell you the character. Oh, as a player, I don't, but the character wants to, I guess. I think out of curiosity, just like, we got a game is the, are the binoculars electronic or analog?

[01:34:05] They're old fashioned metal binoculars. Just glass and glass metal. Mm. Okay. You know what? If we're walking back slowly, I want to put the binoculars up to my eyes again and look out there and just see if I can see me. Empty field. Nothing there. You turn around with the binoculars, like towards the, uh, the ambulance. He's right there. That'd be me. Sorry.

[01:34:32] I've got seen in Monty Python where the guy's just running up the hill for like a minute and a half. And then he's just right there. also Adam, congrats. It's, it, it follows. Oh God, it's snoops. It's snoops. Uh, like, Oh God. So yeah, I guess I'm going to get into ambulance or shambelance and kind of tap, tap the seat. Sparky, go. Uh, all right. Oh, sorry. Sparky. Sorry. He's driving off. Sparky's like walking toward.

[01:35:04] Hello. Sorry. Couldn't resist that little prank. I don't, I don't do that. Yep. I guess you seem, seem awfully worried. It's going to set the binoculars down. Like I take them off my neck and I just set them down. It's like, uh, I just, I'm saying, I think the heat's getting to me. I'm, I'm seeing shit, man. It's all right. Okay. Um, what'd the guy die from? Do you shoot himself? I,

[01:35:35] well, I, I didn't look really. He had a look of terror on his face. Like the body didn't seem blighted. What? Yeah. It's, uh, it's a damn thing. Like he just looks like he died of fright. Well, maybe, um, I mean, I mean, there's a lot of weird shit. Maybe he died of dehydration. Maybe he stayed up there too long. I've seen that in that movie, uh, with Kevin Bacon. Uh, what was it? Footloose. I think.

[01:36:07] Footloose sandworms. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Uh, so yeah, I guess, I guess, I guess, uh, we're going to keep moving. If, yeah. Give me the beats on that gun. It's a hunting rifle from Famblin goods. Oh, I'll post something up for you. Oh, it's in the character sheet. You all mind if I hold onto it to the end of the session? Unless somebody needs a gun better and more than, Oh wait,

[01:36:36] Sparky doesn't have a gun. I hand it to Sparky. Oh no, Sparky got himself a shotgun. I won't be able to use that once we get to the job site. All right. I'll just hold onto it then for the meantime. So burn off another charge of fuel. Uh, drive on down and meet up with the Kansas river and you're driving along the river. You can give me a, uh, awareness check there. St. Bernard guys, we are down to one fuel charge left. Good thing. You don't need them on the way back. No legs.

[01:37:07] Pass. Okay. So driving by a marina, a lot of the boats look decrepit and, um, you know, half sunk, um, flooded, worn down. Uh, except there is a nice little rowboat out. It just, it not in the middle of the river, um, but a little ways out. Just wait, like just out of, in the river. Yeah, there's a rowboat.

[01:37:36] It's got a little motor attached to it. Um, it looks, it's got an anchor that seems to be keeping it in place in the river. Yeah. It looks well taken care of just floating out there. Looks like someone might, uh, be using this, uh, a, don't see anyone out there, but it is, you know, a good, a little ways out. You think these boats got some fuel in them we can use? I, I could try to scav it up for you. Uh, it's, I'm pretty good with that. Do,

[01:38:06] uh, do we want to like, maybe see if we can see if there's any like signals in the, in the area? Cause like that boat's way too well maintained to just have been, uh, sitting there out in the loss for, for more than five years. I guess I can go ahead and burn the charge on Ubix and see if I pick anything up. You don't need to burn a charge for this. Uh, you see that there's a Ubix signal, um, very faint coming from the direction of the rowboat. You want me to reach out and talk to this fellow?

[01:38:36] Might be handy. Um, rather than, you know, negotiate or rather than negotiate, then we could also just kill him afterward. He does not say that. Um, yeah. yeah. When I look, I'm a peek at, when I look at the, I'm going to use the binoculars. Oh no, don't cry. Hell on the roll. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Oh Jesus Christ. You're right. I, I, I don't know what's going on. I'm really, I'm really, I do not. No, no, no, no,

[01:39:06] It's, it's the old joke with tech diff where every time, uh, one of their players use binoculars, they crit failed and smash. Yeah. Poor Ethan. Other Ethan. His, uh, his binocular use. I won't, I won't make you do an awareness check for this. Cause it's a little tiny narrow boat that you're looking at a pod. You're not looking for a needle in a haystack. Um, I don't think he was looking for that necessarily with that aware. Oh, were you looking for something else there? Adam? Did I misinterpret what you were saying? I,

[01:39:36] it's, it's, it's a, uh, poor K. No, so. So I'm looking for that, but I'm also kind of looking to see if I see me or anything. Like I, I don't, I didn't believe in ghosts and stuff like that. I mean, but like that was weird. And I know it couldn't have been me out there. And I know like, you know what I mean? It's like, I'm looking just to, you know how you like, you get a sword in your mouth and you keep poking it with your tongue.

[01:40:06] Right. Yep. That still hurts. So, don't worry about looking for the, um, the weird thing. You, you look out upon the boat. Uh, I'll start with the boat. Uh, you look upon the boat. Uh, it's a small rowboat. Like you can't hide on it unless you're like laying flat down on the, the bottom of the boat. And who's going to do that. You see a little bit of, of blood on the side of the boat. And you, uh, when you look at the front and you make your way down towards the back and,

[01:40:36] uh, you notice that there is a body in the boat. You see a lot of blood, um, but there's a body. Uh, you can't make out more than that unless you actually want to make an awareness check to find out more about it. Uh, I mean, why not? I've got two in awareness. I might as well try to, you get a plus one from the binoculars too, right? I think so. Yeah. I think that's a deal.

[01:41:06] So give me an awareness check. Well, I critically succeeded that I got tens. Nice. The body doesn't have a head. Perfect. And you see a fishing line, fishing rod, uh, with a line going into the water. Um, and it looks like the, um, the end of the rod is bouncing up and down, maybe going with the current, but the rod is pinned under the, the headless body out there. Uh, and that's when it dawns on you to maybe,

[01:41:35] maybe you should check to see if, if that, that thing you saw in the field is around and, and you'd look around and look back down the road and, uh, give me another self control check. Critical success. Two twos. Well, it's still going to be one to trauma. Unfortunately. Can we move? Sorry. Just getting clarification on like the headless body in the boat. Do you mean like headless as in like splat or headless? Like it got blown off. Okay. I was thinking of like, cause you were like, cause I was thinking like, like, as soon as you said like it's headless and the bob on the bottom is like

[01:42:05] bobbing. I'm just imagining like, is the head at the, like, like at the lure or something like that, like something like really fucked up game. Somebody's playing. No, I didn't mean that. I apologize if I implied that. That's something I would have done, but I like to do a little creepy, but I don't like to do that level of creep. Might, uh, request that like, okay. So I, is you, you want me for critical success? You want me to take one and a trauma. Is it okay that I actually just, I've already seen the trauma of it. Would that be more stress or do you want me to put on trauma? Actually, no, let's,

[01:42:34] we'll say this is stress. Then one, one distress. Okay. I'm just trying to distribute my, my failures. What was the last thing that you saw your wife in before you ended up? One last thing she was wearing. Yeah. She was wearing a, the Joan Jett and, and, uh, was it the Blackhearts? Yeah, I think she's wearing a, like a, a, it was like a extra large vintage Joan Black and a Blackhearts. And it just,

[01:43:02] I remember looking at her stomach and her belly that's starting to grow. I mean, she's not nine months or anything like that. I would assume we can, we can canonically say right now that we're like in the first trimester. So, you know, okay. Three, three months long, but just, I can remember it just being kind of pronounced in that shirt. Like I could see it and she was just wearing that and nothing else. It was kind of sexy in a way. It was a nice way to end the day, to start the day out. But, uh, you see walking down the road, uh, at a distance, uh,

[01:43:32] the, the casualty that looks exactly like you spinning image with the, the, the wounds has an arm around, uh, over the shoulder of, uh, another casualty, female casualty in that same getup. Uh, it looks, looks a lot like your wife. Hey, I'm still, as I'm looking at it, I'm like, my hands were shaking again. And, uh, I go, uh, Hey guys, look down the road. What do you see?

[01:44:02] Like, well, I guess we look down the road. Uh, do you give them the binoculars to look shake? No, I don't want to lose sight of it. Like it's, it's in my vision. Yeah. I'm just looking down the road where he's pointing. It's hard. It's hard. It's hard to see down the road. Like maybe there's something down there on it. That can make me roll an awareness. Uh, you can give me an awareness. If anyone wants to look closely. Fail. I'll do it. I feel like I do. Oh, wow.

[01:44:33] Okay. Yeah. Seven over, um, something to, uh, seven over three. Yeah. So I, I don't see anything. It's hard to, for those who succeed, um, for those who fail, you, you, you see two shapes to two things on the road, maybe down the ways, but it's, it's hard to see there. They're, they're always out. Yeah. Hard to tell without any. No,

[01:44:59] you lose sort of two blobs on the road. Uh, it's me and my, it's me and my girlfriend. What? It's what? No, no, no. I mean, this like, I'm not that much. I know that I'm fucking you all over as a player and I'm sorry. Okay. For the upcoming checks, but narratively speaking, I mean, he saw it once and played it to the vest, seeing it a second time. And I, as I'm still watching them walking my way, it's like, look, I went,

[01:45:28] I got up in that tree and I grabbed these fucking binoculars and I looked out. I saw me wearing the same shit that I'm wearing right now as a casualty. And I looked up at me and I smiled and I thought I've been drugged. And all that, but it doesn't feel like that, but there's something like, I know this sounds crazy, but like, I'm looking right now.

[01:45:55] And if you want to take these damned binoculars and look down the road and see what you see. And like, but maybe you don't want to do that. I don't know. Put a hand on your, on your forehead to like, try and see if you're like, if you got like a fever or something like there's like, if you're like sick or something like that, or see, is he fine? Or do I need to roll first aid on that? Or just like the tell. If you want to roll first aid, go,

[01:46:26] he doesn't have fever. I'll tell you that. Is he reacting to something? Yeah. Like I want to like, see if he's reacting to something. Like, cause I, I'm aware of his, his, uh, his, uh, pastimes. Fuck. Um, that's six over nine or six, six under nine. Sorry. He seems stressed, but other than that, you know, he seems fine. If you want to look, he's offering the binoculars. Let me see that. Yeah. Uh, I just, I'm offering the binoculars.

[01:46:55] If anyone wants to say, like, I, I don't know if I'm going crazy and I don't know if like touching this stuff makes me hallucinate. I don't believe, I don't believe in a lot of anything since this, all this shit went down. I mean, God goes, whatever, but there's zombies walking here. So what the fuck ever, excuse me, casualty. These people get funny about that, but yeah, I, I hand them over to the St. Bernard. If he wants to look, if he doesn't, then he doesn't have to.

[01:47:25] I'll take a look. Who's looking. I think Sparky is Sparky. Sparky said it first. Yeah. Okay. Are you telling them, uh, are you telling them specifically like, Oh, this is my wife. I last saw her in this outfit. That's her walking down with me. That kind of thing. Yeah. I'm, I'm going full disclosure. Like Sparky, you take the binoculars and look down the road. Uh, and you see just a single casualty shambling down the road. It seems to be like a,

[01:47:55] a slightly overweight woman in the same, not necessarily the same exact shirt that shake just described to you, but it's at least got the same color shirt, same color pants. Uh, and that's when the, uh, the, the, the wig that is the same color as his girlfriend's hair that was described to you sort of like falls off the casualty's head and hits the ground as the casualty just keeps shambling along. I, I describe what I'm seeing down the road there.

[01:48:23] I take the binoculars back to verify. It's what I just described to Sparky. Maybe there was something up there in that tree that you're just, just get working out of your system. All right. I just said that. I've been out of tree mold or something. Maybe, maybe I'm just, I'm, I don't know. Just keep, you know, keep a lookout, man. Maybe, uh, maybe or something on this. Uh, Oh yeah. That dude's got his head cut off and there's a line jiggling like it's caught on something. Uh, I don't know how you get your head cut off and you row out in the

[01:48:53] middle of the water. That can't seem kind of fucked up. Oh, good. Great. I love, I love this place. Y'all, y'all want me to scavenge, uh, the Marina area here? Yeah. Yeah. Let's, let's, uh, let's, let's do that. Uh, while we still got some time. That is a natural eight, eight. Go into the, the club shop, the club shop slash clubhouse kind of thing. It's not really a clubhouse per se, but it's like a common area with some seats and then a little,

[01:49:22] little store that you could buy some food or snacks in or bait. Um, and then a little back office for the person who would tend to the boats when the owners weren't around. Um, it seems like the person set up shop here. Not too bad. You find in the back bait area, little storage area for guests. You find three charges of guests. Hey, Balto, it's, it's payday for the shambalance.

[01:49:52] Check this out. Oh, thank God. Something, something good's happening today. Long Robert Downey, Jr. Rowan, his eyes look towards you. I'm not even looking at you. I'm, I'm walking over to the gas to grab my, to grab my gas cans. I say, man, do we need to go out to that? Like something right? You know, this ain't right, man. That dude's head's cut off, but I mean,

[01:50:21] there's a body in a boat. We might get something, but that rod, you see it. It's just like, is there a, is there a casualty on the other end? Is it caught on a rock? I mean, is there a big catfish? I mean, it's not that white girlfriend under there. I mean, whatever. Jason Voorhees. I'm going to like, pop out like, rawr. There's a giant moose from Canada in the water. Yeah. Her giant lake, giant river eels.

[01:50:52] What do you say? Yeah. Yeah. I really got to, sorry guys. I got to shut up. I'm giving Nick ideas. I think I've had some pretty good ideas right now. You have. I'm terrified. Ethan. I want to know what the fuck. Take somebody's head off while they're on the water. Can I have that again? I think Nick did clarify that it was a headshot. Yeah. I said it was blown off. I thought if I didn't say that, I apologize.

[01:51:23] Well, Shane's telling us it's cut off though. So yeah, that's true. That is true. Do they have them flying barracudas? Is there any way to pull that boat in here without going out on the water? Could we scavenge for someone's got a hook? Try to like, uh, hook it with like a grappler or something.

[01:51:53] It's gotta be something on this, in this, in this marina that we've got to swim out there. Unless you want to take the time to cobble together some sort of raft or fix up a boat or, or something. Well, I know casualties can't swim. Uh, and I don't think there are any, any big carnivorous fishes around here. I could swim out. I think we may just let it go. Right. Right. Right. Can we, can, can, can Balto scrounge up some rope and, and,

[01:52:23] and, and something like a hook, like, like an anchor thing to try and like use to like throw at it? Or is it way too far? Oh, it's, it's too far out to grapple it, to grapple. Yep. I, I don't want to have Sparky just go under the water. I don't want to have to explain the road salt that Sparky got ate by. Oh, I wouldn't go under the, under the water. It'd be more like a doggy paddle. Maybe a backstroke. Sea serpent of the Kansas river. Got him. I've only got like one in athletics. Oh, I mean,

[01:52:52] I mean, maybe like a big catfish or something, but that's about it around here. Is that athletics? Oh yeah, it is athletics. Damn, it's one. Um, fuck. St. Bernard. What do you got, buddy? I got three on athletics. God, I got an athletics of also one. Well, I do. I do mine yoga. You know what? Sparky, I pull up the rifle. I'll cover you. All right. Sounds good to me. Worst idea.

[01:53:22] So Sparky, if you're swimming out there, give me a thought. Sure. Hey, real quick. What's this? Hey, uh, one of you guys, maybe if we took like rocks and threw it further down the stream, whatever, maybe it'll distract it. Let's wait just a second. We'll see if, if we, if we start making water noise in the water, if the pole reacts to it. Cool. Yeah. The pole's just bouncing rhythmically. Oh, okay. Okay. Nevermind. Then we're just, whatever. I'm good. I'm up for thinking.

[01:53:53] Yeah, this is going to go great. Well, well, I'm glad I have three in athletics. Is that as a 10 over nine? You managed to not inhale some water. Failure for this would have just been take some stun damage to the chest, but you make it out there and pull yourself up on the boat. Um, yeah, it appears this person has shot their head off or had their head shot off. You look around the boat and there's just like a little, little box full of lures.

[01:54:23] There's the fishing pole wedged under the body. Uh, you don't see any gun. Well, it could have fallen out of the boat or how about those you big specs? They're not on his head. Well, his head ain't on his head. Give me a scavenge check. Uh, no. Four under nine. Uh, you look around, you don't see the, you big specs,

[01:54:51] but when you're like flipping over the body, the rod start kicks up and starts falling into the water. Give me athletics check. If you'd like to hold onto it, I'll snatch that rod. Uh, but I, I do not succeed. That is a six under eight. You fumble with the rod and it falls into the water and quickly sinks. And I imagine the body does not have his idea on him. No. All right. Is it, is this boat? Does it have a motor or anything?

[01:55:21] Is it something we could drive in? There's a little motor on it and there's some oars. There's two oars. Well, let's see if I can get that motor started and just drive it in. Is it, is it anchored? There is an anchor. Yes. Let's see if I can get it started and then I can pull up that anchor. Give me a mechanics checks to see if the, you can start the motor. I think I poured water directly into it. I got a one, one. Uh, he must not have fueled it. He must've been saving the gas for extreme measures. And he wrote out here.

[01:55:51] I was going to say there should be some oars on the, in that boat. Yeah. There's two oars. Hey y'all, there's nothing on this boat. Do you want me to try to, to rope back in or are we good? Um, yeah, I think it might be safer if you bring, if you, if you rope back. Um, I don't like the idea of, of going in that water. Something's fishy about it. Yeah. That's that one was for, for road, for road salt. A point to, all right. I, uh, I elbow, um, uh, shake. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

[01:56:21] You're just like, whatever. I don't care. Is the Ubix signal what it do when the pop rot was released? Uh, it's the same. It's still out there. So it's running from underwater. Or it's on the boat and I couldn't find it. Okay. All right. Spend a ration and you can row the boat in there. Sparky. All right. Done and done. That's two total rations spent on this endeavor. But yeah, you bring the boat to shore. Okay. Uh,

[01:56:51] I guess we can't like, since it's a one and done sort of thing, we can't try and look for that, uh, that Ubix signal, even though it's still there somewhere on the boat. Yeah. You just can't find it. Weird. Well, let's mark this on the map. Somebody might want a good work. And, and some Ubix. Yeah. Are we not taking the boat to farther downstream? Or do we need to go for a little bit further with the shambulance? You know that you can get there with the shambulance, but it's up to you how you want to get there. Well, yeah, that's the thing.

[01:57:19] Cause I thought we were planning on like hiding the shambulance somewhere and then either walking the rest of the way or, uh, were we taking a boat to the, to bridges? No, you could walk there. Okay. Yeah. As long as we, we, we spotted a spot anyway to put it. Parking under and under overpass. Yeah. Um, do, do we see the, uh, the casualties getting closer or like the, what, what, what we were told are casualties. Yeah. That,

[01:57:46] that one casualty that appears to be a slightly overweight woman in the same color clothing that was described to you is, um, closer now where you could see it without the binoculars, just slowly making its way down the road. Uh, the hair is a different color now because, uh, the wig it was wearing fell off. Shake, do you want to, do you want to pick this one off? Just, you know, get some closure. I look over at you and I'm thinking, do you want to shoot your, your dead girlfriend? And I just go, I'm good.

[01:58:16] It's okay. Let's go. I don't want to think about none of this anymore. Thank you though. It doesn't look like your, your dead girlfriend now that you got a closer look at it or, but yeah, it's, it's whatever you feel like shake. Uh, it's, I just, no, it just feels weird. Uh, I'm going to say the bullets for the mission. All right. All of you, um, are fine. Right in the shamblings, uh,

[01:58:46] mark off another charge of gas. Yep. Now is that three, three, we spent on two legs is what you're saying. Uh, you spent one to get to each leg and then one to get to the job site. I guessing the job, like getting to the job site, like we're able to like the, uh, hiding it near the job site, but we're, we're going to be able to walk into the job site. Yes. Yes. So should we go ahead and burn at least one ration for all this? Or why do you want to just in for a try? That would probably be good to burn one. Okay. Okay.

[01:59:15] Where is my rations on the sheet? Um, all right, I guess, uh, St. Bernard, if you want to use the, uh, glass that you want to use the binoculars, cause they're obviously safe. Yeah. Not cursed. Glad we checked. Yeah. Well, Sparky didn't have it, but if you want to use it for your awareness checks. Yeah. What is that? A plus one? Thanks. So Sparky, do you want to open your crate?

[01:59:45] Oh, once we get parked underneath that, uh, overpass. Yeah. Yeah. You've, you've parked. You don't have to worry about that. All right. Can you, can you guys help me get this out the back here again? Sorry. Uh, sure. Sure. Um, yeah, it walks over helps. Do you just want us to set it down or are we? Yeah. No, no, no. Just set it down here. It's good. Okay. Uh, yeah. I assume something else helps me or Sparky. I'll help. Yeah. I look like I'm helping, but I don't think it's too much help.

[02:00:16] You, you unload it without any trouble. All right. I, I open the end that's facing away from everybody and go inside. And, you hear some, some, the sounds of some clunking a little bit and a little bit of, uh, maybe some buckles jangling. I look to shake. I'm just like, and then you hear, and the side away from you swings open, like it's a door and out step Sparky, uh, in an XO suit.

[02:00:45] Oh my God. This is, this is Bessie. Uh, she, she and I worked the mines together. I've been fixing her up last few years. Well, ain't you a regular Rippling? Okay. That, that three athletics I have is, is paired with, uh, three athletics XO suit. Just so as y'all know, God damn. That's pretty great. Sparky's got himself, uh, a long history. You know, he's got a job, a good, good resume. Does Sean know that you're finally,

[02:01:15] someone's finally using his damn XO suit? Oh, I've used his XO suit before. Oh, okay. Yeah. Was there a game where it was all XO suits or did that, was that just a fever dream? That was a, we were joking about that. Damn. Okay. No, I, someone finally, uh, cracked the seal on Randy. So I've used the XO suit once previously. Nice. Oh my God. You, uh, walk your way down to bridges. As you, you approach,

[02:01:43] you can see that bridges is made up of three different structures. Oh, sorry. Before we continue, uh, as I'm, as I'm leaving the, the shamillons, I'm going to give you this. do you want me to roll a, uh, a, a, um, a stress check? Yeah. Give yourself a control check. Yeah. Self control. That's what it is. I feel it's only fair. I feel like a little bit responsible for pushing Adam to like lose his shit about, about zombie wife. Um, I don't care. It's it's that's a, that's an 11 over seven.

[02:02:14] Okay. You're fine. You've, you've hit it. Well, yeah, it'll be here when you get back. I'll be back, baby. Bridges is made up of three, three different structures. One is an office building. One is a parking garage and one is a hotel. You can see rope bridges spanning between the, um, fourth, fifth, and sixth floors of these structures. The parking garage only goes up six floors. Um, so it, um,

[02:02:41] the highest bridge goes to the top floor of the parking garage. You, you were told that, um, there should be a fire escape that bridges used to enter through the third floor of the hotel. Um, if you wish to make any other entrance feel free, but be aware that the whole point of this setup was for the DHQS was to use a siren to attract casualties to the area. Yeah.

[02:03:11] The, the fire escape is on a, the far side away from the siren. The siren is attached to the office building. So it is like the farthest point away from where the siren is. So it has the least traffic. And as far as they were aware is clear, or at least clear enough for you to try and climb up without any immediate danger, unless you attract attention to yourself. Is this parking structure meant to service both the hotel and the office building?

[02:03:42] Yes. Uh, is it relatively nice, like newer fancy at all? Not really. Like what, what kind of feature were you looking for? Well, I'm thinking about Vegas where every level of the parking structure that's attached to the casino has, uh, a bridge to go into the casino or, or nicer malls, whatever. Oh no, no, no. It's, it's old school. It's just a single structure.

[02:04:05] It's not connected to either of the adjacent structures except for the rope bridges that were put up post crash. Sparky looks up at the rope bridges and down at his exosuit and says, well, shit. I made this mission before you made Sparky. I apologize. Well, we'll see. Well, what's the best way to do this folks? St. Bernard has a checkout. Do you see anything in the,

[02:04:34] in the around here? Uh, let's make an awareness check and find out. And you see my dead girlfriend. girlfriend. Or is he's himself? Why, why do we all see your girlfriend when we close our eyes? Don't close your eyes. That's a failure. It seems fairly clear around that fire escape that you, um, were told of,

[02:05:01] but maybe you could try and go up the parking garage too. Uh, you don't know how well secure it is. How do y'all feel about being, um, thrown? Find it to be an, an enticing, uh, experience, I guess. Uh, yeah. Uh, uh, who would be the best one to throw? You suggesting you fastball specialists? More like an under, under, underarm lob, but you know, yeah.

[02:05:30] Is that a resistance check? Nick, if I catch. Resistance check to catch someone being thrown up to you? No, I think it's a resistance check to, a check to see if you can catch the fire escape. Oh, like to grab it as you're being. Athletics to grab it. I phone it. Well, we all got one. So yeah. Fuck it. Yeah. Just an option. Sure. I'm good. Let's do this. I love this plan. I'm excited to be a part of it.

[02:06:01] Well, let's, let's go up that, uh, and the wind up in the pitch. Yeah. Uh, so we could head up that, uh, this is just an idea. You don't have to do it. We can go up that, uh, parking garage and I can toss you across to the fire escape. Lightly higher. And so that's a higher, like that's a couple, like another floor up. Oh yeah. We go up to four and I toss you across the three. Oh, uh, I, I apologize. Um, the fire escape is not on the same side that faces the parking garage. I was saying like,

[02:06:28] you could go up the parking garage and try to make it to the upper levels through that. Or you could try the fire escape. It's the fire escape. Just not the bottom part. Just isn't extended. Is that the, it's just the ladder has been pulled up for the, that last. Oh, okay. I, I see what I, I get what we're going on. Okay. Yeah. I think somebody up to that. Maybe. Yep. Let's see if you can boost me. All right. Uh, athletics check there. Shake. All right. So I guess I need to burn, let me burn that charge while I'm thinking of it.

[02:06:58] Otherwise I'm just going to be, meanwhile, cut back to me eating a protein bar. I'm like, I wonder if a giant robots going to throw me later today. All right. That is, thank God I got this in here. That is, actually. Yeah. It, it's a, and it's ties to go to the market. I guess it was. No, it's a seven. I thought it was one. Yeah. It's eight over two. I'm sorry. I thought I had a one,

[02:07:27] two with a plus one, but ties go to the market, but now it was a seven. I just can't read. I'm blind. You get lifted slash boosted up to there. You grab hold and pull yourself up. Ladder. It's a little rusty, but you can lower. Can I do a mechanics check to grease it up? So it doesn't make noise. Yes. But how are you going to grease it up with what supplies or with what, how are you, how are you doing it? Yeah.

[02:07:57] I don't have a kit. Do I? Can I always go into the hotel? I had people and see what they got in there. Can I burn a ration and say, I use my Capri Sun or that kind of goofy, but I was going to say, I was thinking butter or something. He had some kind of buttered like sandwich or something, but I could try to scavenge if like, if I couldn't burn a ration to do that. I'll say that. Cause it's a little weird. I'll say it's two rations to do that. I'm all about that.

[02:08:25] If that's going to keep the casualties at bay and, and out of character, me being a fringer, I get an extra, don't I get an extra? Uh, refresh. You get an extra hauler refresh, whatever. Wait, what? I don't know. And refresh all and refresh. Okay. Then yeah. All right. So yeah, I'll, I'll burn. I'll, so I'm shoving Twinkies in it. Cause I've done so many versions of these. Is that a mechanic check on top of spending two charges?

[02:08:54] No, that's fine. Okay. So as the Twinkies in your combo ladder, gently glides down to you. Uh, yeah, you guys all have access up. I imagine that if I wanted to go up there, it would be an athletics XO suit just to make sure I can do it. No, it's, it's fine. You can make it up. That's a nice ladder. Not one of those Harbor Freight ladders. Okay. Um,

[02:09:23] so you all make it up the ladder and climb to the third floor. You know, that there are various bridges, like I said, on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors, that crisscross to the various buildings. And you're on the third floor. So you need to make it to the stairs and where you enter through the fire escape, you see down the hall to the stairs on the other side. Some of the doors to the hotel rooms on the side are open.

[02:09:53] Um, but it's straight a shot across. Um, you don't see anything in the hall. Um, give me an awareness check. Whoever would like to make an awareness check. Uh, ties go to the market fail. Is this a one and done or can we all have our eyes out? I'll let all of you do it. Whoever wants to. All right. That's a nine over seven. Uh, that is a 11 over three.

[02:10:24] Why? Why? no, it's fine. I was just rattling off. I succeeded. Well, I know I have no interest in making sure a zombie does not bite my face off. Um, so the three of you who succeed sees that. Facualty. A good portion of the floor halfway down the hall. The carpeting seems to sag down a bit. Almost as if there's no floor supporting it underneath. I've seen this before. Uh, maybe,

[02:10:54] maybe we have to go through some of them rooms, maybe with open doors is the, it's the way that they, they do that. So it's a trap. Yeah. St. Bernard, watch your step there. Everyone else notices. Just home alone. It just, what? One of, like someone like grab St. Bernard. Yeah. Oh my, oh my God. Yes. This carpet is terribly dirty. I would have. I would have soiled my shoes. Yeah.

[02:11:24] Yeah. That's all you would have done. Yep. Thank you. Yeah. We can see if we can go into the joining room and go through the wall or go, uh, maybe there's a, a joining like door, like Sparky mentioned. So you, you check some of the side rooms and you notice that some of the walls have been blown out in, um, consecutive rooms to make a path down the side of the hotel. You climb through them and you can make it to the other side where the stairwell,

[02:11:54] where the stairwell is. All right. There is also the elevator doors missing or just there, there, they're closed, but I'm just saying that there's also an elevator. Good. Yeah. Cause that's going to be not a death trap. No, no. Speaking of traps, you guys can give me a foresight check. Whoever wishes to, I do not have foresight. Actually, hang on.

[02:12:25] I have one. I got one. Who hasn't wrote road would be, I mean, I'll let whoever wants to roll, roll for this. I know this game is big on one and done, but for seeing who understands what, when everyone gets the chance to understand it, it seems a little weird to me. That is a nine over one. On foresight. For me. Yeah. Anybody else? I don't. So I succeed. L.

[02:12:55] Yeah. Uh, I mean, I didn't get much better. Three under eight. Okay. So the two of you who succeed realize that the enclave or what was left of the enclave most likely is between the fourth and sixth floors. If there's anything like this trap or just dangerous or hazardous situation, you don't know if this was intentional or the floor gave up below the carpet. Um,

[02:13:23] you could potentially bypass it by climbing up the elevator shaft to the floor that you want. Well, that's also if you trust the elevator shaft. So you, you know that the elevator shaft can be used to quickly, uh, to go shimmy up the cable. Yes. Okay. In an exosuit. I'm just relaying information that you guys want to do with it. Yeah. That's how cool it is. No, just pitch. Sorry. I'm just picturing from justice league, just like the, the, the Batmobile, like,

[02:13:52] like the spider Batmobile, just like going up the walls. Sorry. So you head up the stairs to the, of the hotel. Um, and this area, the, the, the, the staircase to the, uh, higher levels, um, is blocked off. So you can't pass it, but that's when the sidewall to the hotel hat, you notice has been blown open and you see your first rope bridge leading across to the parking garage. So you guys can cross the rope bridge,

[02:14:22] uh, it seems a little rickety, but you know, it's, it's still there. Uh, the real question is sparky. Yeah. Hmm. I mean, all of us could try, but I don't think all of us would make it. And that's where we need to get to, uh, turn or to, uh, sabotage. You know that the siren is in the office building. So you see that there is a rope bridge that goes from the parking garage to the office building.

[02:14:48] So you at least need to go from the hotel to the parking garage and from there to the office building. Great. Okay. Is there another right way? Or is that the only way we can see? There is a rope bridge from the hotel's sixth floor to the office building. How does that one look? Uh, that is also a, uh, wooden rope bridge. This is gonna be some sorcerer shit, isn't it? Except instead of a truck, it's an elevator. Or instead of a truck, it's a, a mech walker.

[02:15:19] Well, it sounds like I might be sitting part of this one out. Uh, is there anything I can do to be of any kind of assistance? Uh, like maybe going in through the ground floor of the office building and meet, not meet y'all or just, uh, you know, uh, I don't know, stand outside ready to catch somebody. What's down on the street below us? Like, uh, do we see casualties like in the streets? Now that you're not like the back alley, you see that the entire just square and roads down below are just shoulder to shoulder casualties. Um,

[02:15:50] no, Sparky, I don't think you're going to be able to get to the, uh, the, the office building from the ground. Fuck. Even if we did try to abseil up that, uh, elevator shaft, I don't think that I would be able to get across on the sixth floor. Yeah. I may end up being, sir, not appearing in the rest of this film, or I could just leave my Mexico here and follow y'all. We may not be coming out this way. Yeah. That's if,

[02:16:18] could we break the Mexico down and carry it piece by piece with us? I don't, I don't think Bessie'd take kindly to that. Okay. So it's one piece. It's not like, there's a lot of pieces, but no, yeah, that's fine. Ethan, what's your input on this? So like, I mean, it's a rickety rope bridge and we got to get a giant robot across it. Huh? Yeah.

[02:16:45] What I'm thinking about now is I just go and leave it at the bottom of the fire escape on the other side. And I just have to pick it up on my way out. I just, just follow you guys on foot. I mean, I mean, we could stash it just so we don't waste time. You know, I mean, we can, I can just grab it on my way out. I can hop in pretty quick. If I got to run. It's your, it's your decision to, I mean, it's your equipment. Yeah. I mean, I don't want to keep us from, from hitting our objective. So let me just quick, quick do that.

[02:17:15] Take the exosuit, go back to the, through the rooms, go to the fire escape, go down the fire escape, take the key out, obviously, because Bessie has a key and just have her ready to go right there at the bottom of the fire escape and come back and join my cohorts. You guys wait a bit for Spryker to do that. And you head across the bridge one at a time, I would assume. Yeah.

[02:17:39] Each of you give me self control check as you're on this rickety bridge above a teeming mass of casualties. Oh, I've been so good at these so far. Oh, I passed one. I got a crit success with two, two. Eleven over one success. That is a 12 over one. Okay. You guys are all fine. You make it across into the parking garage.

[02:18:07] You see the ramp going up to the next level down the length of the parking garage. You walk down and head up the ramp. And you turn around and you see the bridge heading to the parking garage, to the office building. Just a short ways down. Whoever's in front can give me an awareness check. I do have like two in that, Ethan, if you don't want to do it. But I think,

[02:18:36] I think it's kind of running gag. You should keep doing it. Yeah. Yeah. I should keep failing these. I failed it again. Again. With a tie. Again. Jesus Christ. Are you using your binoculars? Or is that possible? That would boost it over a tie. That's true. It would. Because I have a plus two. I rolled four under six. So. Count the binoculars. I don't want them. I'm using binoculars.

[02:19:05] I'd succeed by one. You're like in a parking garage. Would you be using binoculars in a parking garage? If it's a long distance, yeah. Or if it's too close, just look through them backwards. Plus one's a plus one. Dan's got a point. Would you really be using binoculars in a parking garage, Ethan? It's fine. We'll take the failure then,

[02:19:35] if that's what you're in. If you really would, I'll let you do it, but I want you to be honest. How many feet is it, Nick? It's not far. I mean, sounds like he's not buying it. Nick, think of it like this. He looks with his eyes and squints. Then he picks up the binoculars. We just really realize he just needs glasses. Oh, God.

[02:20:04] Something that people always forget about is succeeding at a cost. I don't know if you want to try that. No, you can, you can succeed. No, no, dude, it's your call, man. If you say we're not using them, I don't think you'd use a binoculars in the parking garage. All right. I didn't want to say anything. So just give me a self-control check there, St. Bernard. Self-control? Oh, God. Success. So you don't lose anything.

[02:20:34] So you turn the corner and you head down. And that's when you hear the motor of, um, you hear, and you look to the right in between two cars, you see, uh, two, uh, like small turrets set up. DHQS on the side. And they both point at you and you hear click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, And you just have a faint heart attack. Cause you think you're, your flight flashes before your eyes. Uh,

[02:21:02] and that's when you realize that the guns are empty and you haven't been shot. You're fine. You're fine. But yeah. What state are your pants in right now? St. Bernard. I'm glad I wore my brown suit. Oh God. This is a, this is a haunted house scenario. And that's when you noticed further down, uh, not the direction you came from,

[02:21:32] but sort of like further down the side of the building. When you were crossing the bridge, you noticed like there was a small pile of dead casualties up against the parking garage. And you kind of realize now that the DHQS must come through here. From time to time and just clean shop from the casualties that happened to wander up here. Mental note. If we kill anything up here, we're going to have to drag it over to that pile. Oh yeah. Cause they're going to wonder why. Yeah. Or is that a mental note? So like,

[02:22:02] as in like you weren't speaking. No, I'm saying it out loud. Okay. Um, but yeah, apparently they didn't have a refresh for the guns the last time they came through or. Whatever they shot at. Didn't go down. Whatever you, you want to think of that makes you more happy. Um, but yeah, you make it through the parking garage. You get to the bridge. You had a cross. No self-control check this time. Cause you did it previously. It's a lot more solid.

[02:22:31] Of a bridge. And you make it to the office building. Um, once again, you see the stairs on the opposite side of the room that you're in. Someone or everyone, whoever wants to can give me an awareness check. I'll do awareness as well. Just critical success. Oh God. I didn't see shit. Ties go to the market. Full fours. Nice. Balto.

[02:22:59] You see the trip wire. Between two of the desks. In the narrow stretch of opening in the cubicles ahead of you. Um, but Balto, you see the various trip wires set throughout the room. You mean, you mean, uh, St. Bernard, you notice that there are more than just that one trip wire. You see a couple of them, not just at foot level, but at various heights.

[02:23:26] And you notice that they are attached to mines or at least some improvised explosive device. Hold gas. We got, we got us. We got a trip wire. And then that's when St. Bernard, I guess it says we got more than one. We have greater than or equal to one trip wire. Oh, where, where's that at? What is it? What is it tied up to? Variance explosives.

[02:23:56] Is that a claymore mine? No, but it says face front towards enemy. You know, what's valuable in a mine explosives. You know, what's going to be missed. Explosives. Oh yeah, it's true. Hey man, look, I broke into pop machines as a kid. I know how this shit works. That doesn't make sense. It's a very transferable skill.

[02:24:24] You guys can either give me a mechanics check or some equivalent demolitions check, or I don't think any of you have, to disarm the traps. Or you can give me athletics checks to, uh, with, with, I'll give you a bonus since you have a critical success on spotting them, um, to worm your way through the various traps to get to the other side safely. I will give you a plus two to your role athletics role. Now,

[02:24:53] is this the end objective? Is there somewhere else we have to go past this? On the sixth floor, there should be the thing. So you just got to make it through this room and then you'll get up to the sixth floor. I will have you do your various sabotage checks there. And then that will be the end of the session. If that's what you guys are asking about. Can we do a mechanics check on the way back to arm it again? Yes. We got to disarm and then rearm. That's, that's two chances to lose an arm. I think we're,

[02:25:22] we might be better off with the one role as much as, as harrowing as it's going to be. Especially since, uh, St. Bernard spotted them so well, we see where they all are. Effectively a plus two bonus to that athletics role. I'm good with that. Here, here, let me, let me show you. Sparky just starts warming his way through. Limbo, limbo, limbo. Sorry. Uh, effective 14 over eight. Oh shit. Damn. See, see, just follow where I step guys. It's, it's, it's, it's good.

[02:25:52] Sparky gets the other side and waves when he says that. Okay. And it's incredibly spry. I told you mind yoga. Laugh all you want. Oh man, this is going to end up like the fucking Raiders of the Lost Ark. Wait, no, not that wrong. Wrong. Whatever. I succeed. Remember, you have a plus two from the check and you can spend rations. Oh, okay. Rations. Before you roll.

[02:26:22] Before I do it. Yeah. Uh, that's a 10 over four. Waiting on shake. Oh, okay. Well, the second you said that I was trying to remember what I wrote. I think it was a failure. And then you said rations, but it's already happened. So yeah, I'm just a burner. Will you guys make it through to the other side and go up to the sixth floor? Uh, give me an awareness check. Whoever wants to make an awareness check. Sparky's still on a high from going on underneath those strip bars and does not see anything.

[02:26:51] What? Uh, I fail. Actual fuck. Another four plus two, six. That's six. Oh, so you failed. It's not, it's not just the same. Like I failed. It's, I failed by a tie with the same two numbers as like the last three times. Well, yeah, I, I also got a six, six, but anyone want to use will. I succeeded with a seven over four.

[02:27:20] The binoculars are acceptable. Give me an awareness to see if you can spot the, the blue wire on the bomb. Can I use the binoculars as a microscope? Getting real close. But one of you succeeded. I did. Yeah. You see in the middle of the room, sort of a conference room with glass walls,

[02:27:50] um, there's a lot of various computer equipment set up and wires leading out to a section of the wall, which according to what you've been told should be where the siren is. It's, it's a glass wall along with the door wooden door. Um, the thing to catch though, is there is a video camera inside the room pointed at the door.

[02:28:21] And also can see through the glass walls that are pointing into the greater, like out onto the floor. So if you approach, you have to somehow not get spotted by the video camera. This sounds like a, uh, a case for somebody with some UBICS and some criminality. If you ask me. Yeah. I got UBICS, I got criminality and also got stealth. Or if you get in and you're good enough,

[02:28:49] you could somehow delete the footage, edit it, or come up with some other explanation to why it no longer exists with you on it. Loop it. Hack the planet. Uh, but you do not, you do not see any wireless signals coming from the setup. It is all wired, which is when you check your electronic, like when you check the electronics, um, toolkit, there is a, uh, like a wireless,

[02:29:19] uh, setup. You're supposed to hook up into it. So you can, um, is it motion sensitive? Uh, you do. You don't know. Unless they kept it on charge, then it would be like sleep mode. Maybe. We could call in a reference to help us out. Yeah. You can call in a reference if you want. All right. Um, I mean, that seems logical.

[02:29:48] The only other thing would be, I would say is just look outside the window and see if you can see me on the edge, but you can go outside and look if you want, shake. I think I'll just burn a reference. We haven't done that. So I will go ahead and call up my good, my good buddy, uh, hacker man. That's okay. He's very uncreative. And he's also in this for all game that Chris and I are playing with Joe. So his,

[02:30:15] his name is hack space or space man with a question mark. Uh, yeah, he has a lung problem, but we don't talk about it. Nevermind. Isn't, isn't that question mark exclamation point? Cause I dealt with question mark and I didn't like him. Yeah. Shake. Uh, what do you want? Look, man, I, I can kind of use, I got a problem, man. I'm trying to break into, to a YMCA. Don't ask questions.

[02:30:46] Uh, now I know that there's gotta be a way around this. I mean, it's, this thing's been sitting here. They just kind of leave it here. These writers do to, um, you know, like catch people going into the little depot and stuff like that where they're gone. I don't understand. I don't know if it's got a full battery charge or not, but I'm looking for like, how can I get past this? Do you know anything about this particular show me the setup?

[02:31:16] You fix specs lightly peek around the corner. Not on my head. Just kind of, this is Raider setup. This looks like a little advance for Raiders. They stole some DHQ as. Of the lost arc. Uh, don't worry about it. There's some symbol on some of the equipment. What is that? I can't get a good look at it. Dude, you're getting paid. Dude, you're getting paid. Come on. Don't fuck with me. I mean, if I know who I'm dealing with, the better information I can get. But, uh,

[02:31:46] I mean, just from a cursory view, that's some fancy stuff you got there. Um, so I got it basically termed DHQS. Well, you don't necessarily have to say that. Yeah. Say it's that level of technology. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I say it in an unconvincing manner. It's like, this is a level like DHQS would have. Not that this is DHQS. All right. Okay. Is it, is this like, uh,

[02:32:16] Alessine? Top loss? Something, something. Uh, don't, no, no, I gotcha. I gotcha, Jake. Don't worry. Um, if it's out there in the loss, um, they're probably gonna have to conserve battery, which means it's probably hooked to a motion sensor. Maybe. Yeah, but I think it's a motion sensor setup. Um, it looks like there's a blind spot along one of the walls.

[02:32:42] You could sneak along the wall and break through the glass. If you don't care about that, we can come in through the window. Okay. Yeah. Motion sensor. Uh, just hold like a big sheet in front of you and move very slowly. Won't pick up any movement. Honestly, if you kept steel and you slowly moved and it like, that might possibly work.

[02:33:12] I mean, yeah, uh, no movies, other stuff. Use the sheet. Okay. So, I don't mean like it's, it's, I got the idea for the movies. Like, you know, myth busters did it and all that stuff. Oh, oh, I mean, that's, that's a gospel. Okay. Gotcha. All right. So what we're going to do. All right. So, uh, yeah. What do y'all want to do? You want to try to go in through the window? I don't want to like, we, we haven't made a mark so far. Can we, uh, what's the,

[02:33:41] what's the situation out there? by the way, behind the, by the window. Like, is it, is there a ledge? You'd have to go check. Did you want to check shake or Balto? I'll do it. I'll, I'll check the window. I'll check the window for traps first. No, you go over the window. There's no traps. Yeah. Yeah. The siren is set up on like a small little platform just outside the window to that conference room. You would have to jump across and grab on,

[02:34:10] but you could potentially lift your, like, walk, like jump to the, like little narrow platform that the speaker's on and then climb in through that. We still have to go back out though. Yeah. Yes. All right. And everybody had to make that check. Everyone who wanted to go that way. I mean, I could, I could shimmy my way outside. We're trying to get to the speaker, right? The speaker's outside, isn't it? Uh, you need to get to the, uh, computer, the, like the,

[02:34:39] the computer that controls the whole siren and everything. So mechanically it'd be an athletics check to climb outside and then. It's just athletics check to jump, to jump like the little tiny gap. And that's it. Just a little tiny gap. Got this. Six floors up. Yeah. Yeah. There, there it is. I mean, I done worse down in the mine. Or you could like get a sheet from the hotel and just very slowly move your way to the door, unlock it.

[02:35:09] And then very slowly move your way in. And then, you know, you're good. That would be a stealth check. I've got two in stealth, but you got three in athletics. Mm. I mean, like to the family of Sparky, I hope I don't have to write that. To, to, to, to, to, uh, roads, road salt, I deeply regret. To, to road salt, Sparky left you this operator's manual for his XO suit.

[02:35:39] He died as he lived. Short. For shortly. So what do you guys want to do? Um, any, any opinions? Ethan, you've been quiet. Sparky does have a pretty good, uh, athletics check. It's all that mind yoga. How much wheels does Sparky have? Yeah. Does Sparky have wheels? Two. Uh, well, I mean, no guts, no glory. And you do you have, I think honestly,

[02:36:08] you probably have a better chance doing this than we might have with stealth. All things like it, like just by the numbers. So, uh, so the idea is I, I shimmy on out that window, hop over, uh, and then I immediately get into that room or, or what am I doing? Am I, am I, you immediately get into the room? Well, hand me that athletic or that electronics kit and I will, uh, take care of this. Y'all good?

[02:37:00] Yeah. Window. And there is the computer equipment set up there. Give me a mechanics check or something equivalent to, you know, install the back door for the moths to, to hack in and, and do their sabotage work. Can I spend charges off the electronics kit to help with the, uh, roll? Yes, but just remember the first one enables you to do the roll. Okay. Uh, let me spend,

[02:37:31] four on top of the one. Oh, that's good. That's an 11 over nine. You succeed. You guys get a call shortly afterwards from Ward saying that everything looks good. You guys can come back home. I want to shimmy out on the ledge, kind of help Sparky as he jumps back across as a support. Give me a awareness check. Awareness doesn't sound good. It does not. Does it? Good thing.

[02:38:01] That's a seven over three. You succeed. Yes. So there are some checks that you wish to fail and not succeed. So you're going out to grab onto him and you see like Sparky prepared to jump and you see a cross over his shoulder in the building behind, just staring out the window. You again, just watching you. I'll take that stress. Smiling. Okay. I really want to hear your, like,

[02:38:30] I don't know if I get to find this out this session, but I'd really love to know. I can't wait to find out what exactly is going on with me. Okay. Just take one to stress. Give me that athletics check there, Sparky. Shake seems to be a little distracted. You know what Will's good for? Will's good for flipping stuff. Sparky jumps across, sort of hands outstretched to Shake. Shake just doesn't grab on. So Sparky quickly adjusts and holds onto the edge and starts pulling himself up.

[02:38:57] And that's when Shake snaps out of it and pulls Sparky up and back into the building. You doing all right there, buddy? No. All right. Well, something's telling me that Shake's having kind of a bad day. Let's just, let's just get on out of here. Yeah. Can I spend a wheel to fail stuff? Okay. Is there anything to scavenge on our greater exit out of here that may be worth money back home? Yeah.

[02:39:26] I will let you do a scavenge for each building, the office, building, the parking garage, and the hotel. I have a two on scavenge. Does anyone else want to scavenge? I just got a one. I've just got a one. I was just saying you do it. Yeah. All right. Well, for the office building, I just rolled a natural eight, eight, natural eight, eight. Okay. Find two hall worth of office supplies. Okay. I'm writing that down.

[02:39:57] Two hall office supplies. In my, as Chris would say, serial killer fashion. You'll see what I mean later. One to scavenge the parking structure, you say? Yes. That is a natural seven over two. So success with a black of seven. Find one hall worth of car parts that are in usable condition. Do we all have enough hall to car parts? I got,

[02:40:24] I've got extra hall with my wrist hall on this character sheet. By strength. Whatever your strength is. Okay. Oh, okay. I've got three hall. I've got one. I have one until I climb into Bessie. So I can, I can pack. That's fine. Same thing with me with the, until we get the shame. So. Okay. And then hotel, um, scavenge check. Uh, that is a, uh,

[02:40:52] five over four natural three on the black. Find a hall of cleaning supplies. Nice. Mm-hmm. Sweet. And you guys make it back down. Your exosuit is still there. The shambulance is, Don't you do it. Still there. Okay. And mark off a charge as you drive back to hatch. Okay. I had to make a,

[02:41:21] I just had to make a self control check on myself. Jesus. Uh, so you guys had, uh, 45 bounty. You have like four haul worth of goods to sell. You have a hunting rifle to sell. If you wish to, you also have binoculars. You could sell or keep. I think that's all the new stuff that you got. Guys, I can't, I can't keep this gun. I'm going to hemorrhage money. Yeah.

[02:41:50] We need to steal some stuff. I'm feeling the same on this electronics kit. I think that can go into the pot. And we have the electronics kit that you can sell. Yes. I forgot about that. Um, but we, we could do all the bookkeeping off the mic. All right. So question, comments, concerns. Thank you for, I know it's a late night, so thank you for everyone for, for playing so late. I'm glad we could finally get back to playing this. I was excited to do so. And I hope you had a fun session. Yeah. It's probably,

[02:42:20] it's probably my distractedness, but I had difficulty telling like, Oh, it's in this building when we got there. That's probably my fault, uh, on, on detention span tonight. Oh yeah. Same kind of, I was like, there was always like, wait, Oh, okay. I thought for some reason, I thought like you had to like, we had to like jump between buildings. Like for some reason, that's what the way he was going to toss us. So. Oh yeah. My idea there was get, get into the parking structure and then toss you across to whatever building we had to be in. Oh, okay. So that's what, okay. Yeah. But there was no receiver.

[02:42:50] I probably should have put a little diagram. I had a little diagram in front of me. I should have just taken a picture and posted it. So that's cool. I will remember to do that next time. I hope I wasn't like inner inner, uh, interjecting too much with like my silliness during this game. If I was, I'm sorry. No, no, it's like, dude, we have fun doing this. I know. I just, I, I sometimes worry that I over talk. I had that same concern this time. So I think it's, it's a, it's a fair share of concern among all of us. You know, we, we don't mean to do it and we try to avoid it when we can.

[02:43:20] Answer that question for us. Cause I goofed off too. Does that as a game master, like, yeah, I, I mean, we're obviously having fun, but like, do you want us to kind of straight lace it a tad bit more? No, I, I, I think it's fine. This wasn't the most serious mission. If it was a more serious mission, then, um, I would, I would probably say something, but you were, you were just trying to be sneaky and go into a site that there wasn't anybody at. So I wasn't going to push too hard. Yeah. I like that. I have said,

[02:43:49] I said this to you the other night with her offshoot and, uh, you know, I'm glad Brownie got to experience both of these with me as well. Like, I think that you, your game mastering style. And I mean, it's like every time you, you haven't run anything that I haven't enjoyed, but like, you've got this slow burn kind of like fucking dread that you put into some of this shit, even from the D and D, you know, the great bake off thing that you did, like you've,

[02:44:18] you've got a way of establishing and setting a scene that I feel like makes it an extra fucking character that we're dealing with here. And I mean, I just got to commend you. I have no idea what's wrong with me. Uh, you know, I'm in the next, I feel like telling you, you should start a clock for my research into this. Cause I can tell you that, uh, shake is going to start a search in the UBIC message boards and see in the pastas. Yeah.

[02:44:48] Yeah. And the creepy pastas and all that, but like, I don't understand what's happening to me and it's, it's entertaining. I mean, I don't feel like I'm not upset that this is happening to my character. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm also a big fan of the, uh, sometimes you want to fail a check and not succeed. I love that whole idea. Yeah. Now you're going to have me second guessing every check I make. Therefore it's going to be all Ethan checks all the time.

[02:45:17] Every check I make, you'll be watching you. Ethan's safe. He fails everywhere in his check except for the ones that count. Exactly. I'm immune to this shit. Ties go to the market. Yeah. Damn. God. Also. Yeah. I just like to commend you as well. Like on like the horror aspect here. Cause like it, I was like, I had to, I had to like mute myself a couple of times because I was like, Holy shit. Just like how deliberate and like slow and deliberate you, you do the, uh, the, the,

[02:45:46] the reveals on certain things. I was like, ah, like I'm, I'm trying to figure out what the hell the Kansas blight mimic is. Yeah. I, I also, I also like doing the, you suffer the damage first and then I describe what causes the damage. Cause I feel like that's a lot more tension buildup. Yeah. Cause I'm like, yeah, I lose three and you're like, Holy shit. What did I just say? Yeah. Can you tell, at least tell us unless it's going to give too much, to weigh the boat, like, like what exactly was going on there. So I,

[02:46:16] I left out a part of it cause I didn't want to be super creepy and weird, but, um, it was just a, a Lala person living out by themselves. And on the fishing rod, there was like a casualty and, um, he reeled it up. It bit him and he just, you know, bit the bullet and the gun just happened to fall over the boat. Oh, so I was actually right on that. Okay. Okay. And where was the, uh, you'd expect supposed to be hidden in the tackle box. Um,

[02:46:44] there's just like a little hidden compartment kind of thing. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, I don't want to ask, but like, I I'm really curious as to what the, uh, what, what, what's up with those binocs? Yeah. I'll also put, um, possible boat location down as a thing to sell. But, um, before we end the recording, anything else you guys like to include about just, um, the game in general? Um, no, it was, it was fun. It was, I think this was actually a really good one. Uh, I mean, they're all good. Sorry. That sounded really bad. They were,

[02:47:14] yeah, no, like this one was, this one was good. Um, I, I think I felt like I personally, I felt a little bit more comfortable in this one. Um, like for like the vignettes and stuff like that. Like, I think the last couple of ones, I, I was a little uneasy because like, it's my first time. It's one of my, one of my first times kind of getting into a red markets campaign. So I actually felt really comfortable with the, the, how the vignettes and stuff went out. So. Yeah. And as you build your character, the vignettes come easier because you are more comfortable with,

[02:47:42] what your character might do and might not do. Yeah. I felt a little bit bad about, uh, being part of the impetus for the crumble there in that very first scene. But at the same time, it's something that we don't actually hit all that often in red markets, even though it's built in. So it's probably a good thing. Yeah. And oh crap. I can't stop this voice now. I didn't think Ethan would crit fail. It was just supposed to be like a zero two. And I'm like, Oh, it's a two. It won't be that bad. And then he Chris fails.

[02:48:12] Well, I have to upgrade it. It's a three. And then he's like, I crumbled like, Oh crap. I didn't think I gave him that much attachment trouble. Oh God. Is this voice. Okay. Or is it kind of annoying? Actually, I feel tacked. I feel taxed by that Brownie. Cause that's how I sound. I've been doing that same kind of voice. I think. So no one's called me out on it. Well, all right. Ethan. I know you failed a whole bunch of checks tonight, but you had, you had a good time.

[02:48:42] I, yeah, I, well, I failed a bunch of checks, but I rocked most of them during the negotiation. Yeah. That was actually a really good negotiation. It was just unfortunate that I went to five rounds and you only had three scams. Yeah. You've also shed the person that calls you Bernie. So that's kind of good. That's over lighting. Please don't, please don't send me back to the farm up state before I get to use my exosuit one time.

[02:49:12] I'll discuss it off. Mike. Awesome. Sparky, Sparky's like, Hey, Bernie. And I'm like, who can I trade this guy to? When I, I made, I have all these, these jobs planned ahead of time from now until the final confrontation. And I mean, I could have probably changed it up to accommodate your exosuit, but. No, no, it's, it was good. Yeah. I honestly think it was a good,

[02:49:41] like obstacle because it's like, ha ha. It kind of shows like the nature of Evelyn goods. Right. If you wanted to try and go across, I would have given you a chance, but I would have had like, obviously the result of the test of a fit, like the failure result of the test be a lot more dangerous. Hold on. Let me spend some more charges on this exosuit. Yeah. Yeah. Again, I'm just picturing like, like those movies where like the, the, the big old clunky truck has to get over that,

[02:50:09] like that jungle bridge over a review, over a chasm. Ah, yeah. It's not going to be good. So again, Nick, thank you so much. Ethan Brownie, Chris, thank you all as well. I've had a great time and yeah, I'm looking forward to this. Let's do this again sometime, you know, maybe before two months, Mark, but let's do this again sometime. Yeah. And thank you again for playing.

[02:50:38] And thank you for tuning in folks out there. And until next time, we'll see you later. Bye-bye. Bye. Bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Thank you.
