[00:00:04] Hello, welcome to the Roleplaying Exchange. Tonight we'll be playing Red Markets, New Campaign, T-Minus. We have four intrepid takers with us here tonight. I'll allow them to introduce themselves, and then I'll let you guys know a little bit about the enclave that we are using before jumping on into the game. If we'd like to start in alphabetical order, I know it's risky, but first is...

[00:00:33] First is Adam, since we don't have to worry about Aaron. Double A always throws me off. Hey, this is Adam, and I am going to be playing the role of Shake, or Shaker. We're kind of going with the theme as you're going to pick up on this as we go through the names.

[00:00:48] And Shake is, you know, in the previous world, he was a low-level kind of college frat boy who made money on the side, you know, selling weed and stuff like that. And then the entire economy started regulating weed, and then he was out of a job, and then the economy collapsed, and he sucked out in the wild, and he doesn't have a job.

[00:01:14] So he lives a little bit outside of the enclave. He doesn't live with the... inside the enclave itself, which I can't remember the name of the enclave.

[00:01:27] And I live with my girlfriend, Mary Jane. And at this point in the story, just to make things interesting, since I don't have two charisma, I don't need two dependents, but I've got one on the way.

[00:01:38] So milestone is I've got to add another point into charisma so I can have a baby. Does that make sense?

[00:02:03] The character I'm playing tonight is Road Salt. He is a mine engineer who has been living in our enclave since it was set up during the crash.

[00:02:18] I'm playing Balto, who was a paramedic before the crash, and he drove the ambulance and took a call out by the Hutchinson Salt Mine during the crash.

[00:02:31] And reluctantly stayed in the safety of the salt mine when it happened.

[00:02:39] So he's got a bit of a survivor's guilt going.

[00:02:43] Totally didn't hear those calls for help over the radio.

[00:02:45] Yeah, no, totally didn't. Nope.

[00:02:47] They need to do.

[00:02:49] Yeah, he's the transporter.

[00:02:51] He's got the shambulance.

[00:02:54] Yeah.

[00:02:55] That's about it.

[00:02:58] Well then, we're skipping D.

[00:03:07] He's a fenceman, a former fenceman.

[00:03:10] Kind of a face build.

[00:03:13] Walked away from the fenceman life to take care of his adopted daughter.

[00:03:17] Well, that's all the takers of the crew called the Salty Dogs,

[00:03:21] which are based out of Hatch,

[00:03:26] which is out of the local salt mine in Hutchinson, Kansas.

[00:03:31] When we did enclave creation,

[00:03:34] we looked for good starting positions and used Google Maps and the world to create the enclave.

[00:03:42] But going forward in the campaign,

[00:03:44] we won't be too specific with locations.

[00:03:48] But the salt mine in Hutchinson, Kansas

[00:03:52] was a position that a lot of people ran to in and around the area.

[00:03:57] And they retreated down into the salt mine to wait out the torpor.

[00:04:05] They came out, built up the fencing around the area,

[00:04:10] did makeshift walls with cars and train cars.

[00:04:15] They've incorporated the nearby prison and other equipment from the nearby factories

[00:04:22] to set up a successful salt mine,

[00:04:26] which digs salt out of the ground and transports it to the various enclaves of the loss.

[00:04:32] Salt being a very important thing to have,

[00:04:35] both for just quality of life and actual survival.

[00:04:39] This taker group came together.

[00:04:41] How did you guys come together again?

[00:04:44] Well, I'll say I haven't quite joined the group yet.

[00:04:47] That'll happen as part of the first episode.

[00:04:51] I think that with Shake,

[00:04:54] the deal is I've got a little grow operation.

[00:04:58] I'm sick to what you know.

[00:05:00] So like Shake and his girlfriend have got a raising marijuana,

[00:05:07] stuff like that off the reservation,

[00:05:09] not reservation, excuse me, enclave.

[00:05:10] And he is constantly taking stuff into the enclave to sell and stuff like that.

[00:05:20] So it's just,

[00:05:20] I mean,

[00:05:21] his medicinal herbs,

[00:05:23] I guess you could say.

[00:05:24] So he's,

[00:05:26] he's in there quite often.

[00:05:28] And since I've already kind of pre-established that she's expecting that we're going to have to improve our quality of life.

[00:05:38] I would even say that Shake is actually living in a bunker that he found while scavenging outside the enclave and just lives there.

[00:05:47] So yeah,

[00:05:48] he keeps going back and back just to not only do his day job,

[00:05:52] so to speak,

[00:05:53] but,

[00:05:54] you know,

[00:05:55] for necessities and things like that.

[00:05:57] Not like a big bunker,

[00:05:58] but it's,

[00:05:58] it's,

[00:05:59] it's big enough to live in and to not worry about that much.

[00:06:06] It's almost like,

[00:06:07] when I say bunker,

[00:06:08] let's just go ahead and call it what it is.

[00:06:09] It's like the house has fell down on top of it,

[00:06:12] but he has access to the,

[00:06:13] to the cellar.

[00:06:14] So he's just living in a dilapidated cellar.

[00:06:19] At least Crazon,

[00:06:20] I mean,

[00:06:22] Balto was approached by the foreman of the mine,

[00:06:29] the rest of you have at least interacted with each other in some way.

[00:06:35] And it was brought up that due to,

[00:06:39] the exist to your possession of the shambulance.

[00:06:46] You guys could help him out and he'd be willing to pay you for a job.

[00:06:52] Since you have one of the few vehicles that is free at the moment.

[00:08:03] So we were kind of everybody walking up there trying to look for work,

[00:08:10] And just a conversation kind of breaks out amongst us.
