[00:00:31] Hi, welcome to One Less Die. We are- We're recording? I had no idea! We are at TennoCon2024 in our hotel room and we are going to try and run the sequel to the last session of our Star Wars Worlds campaign, Star Wars Homeward, when shit hit the fan. So it is early- Thanks, Barrett.

[00:00:54] Yeah. It is early 10 A.V.Y. after the Battle of Yavin, and previously on Star Wars Homeward. The Chucklefucks unleashed a Starweird that had been imprisoned on Dagobah for several centuries by Yoda's kin. And yeah, now it's wreaking terror across the outer rim.

[00:01:21] It has been a few months, or cycles, whatever Star Wars does for time units. Yes. And you guys are probably aboard the Xanatos' ship, the Homeward. Which is what I'm naming Shane's character's ship now, moving forward. Since it's kind of like your home base. And stores all your other starships.

[00:01:50] And yeah, before we get too far ahead, let's introduce characters and see what everybody's been up to for the last few months as terror has been reigning across various planets in the outer rim. So starting with Karen in alphabetical order. Hi there! You don't have to do Dag Limbo. You can skip that one for now. I'm Sterling Oharo. I'm a Lepi, not a Kushi-Ban. A Lepi.

[00:02:45] You have, from previously, or after you dug through the ruins of the collapsed temple and prison of the Star Wars from the previous session, you were able to find or salvage what looks to be some ancient amber lightsaber. It has a mysterious aura about it. Yep. I have a Corridor crew. Brown lightsaber? Brown lightsaber? No, it's amber. God, it has a smell.

So anything you've been doing in the last, uh, like, few cycles? Um, making more lightsabers. You did steal a bunch of- Sorry, acquired a bunch of, uh, kyber crystals. Because your last thing is you have many lightsabers.

If I remember correctly from the last session, actually, you were going to use, um, uh, the kyber crystals you took from, uh, Jag, uh, Mark's character, to make a bayonet for his TIE fighter. Right. Yes. Sorry, TIE interceptor. That's right. My TIE defender. My TIE defender. Yeah, that's what I was talking about. So you, yeah, you could, you could have done that in that time. Okay. Alright. Yeah, that's, that's what I did. I made, uh, a ship-sized lightsaber.

[00:04:14] Unfortunately, you have to turn it on because it's a Jedi weapon and... Does a Jedi have to turn it on? No, no. I think in some of the canon you're like, in early canon it was, in later canon they kind of fixed it. In early canon it was, um, that a Jedi had to build the lightsaber and that some Jedi made the switch to turn it on internal so that only a Force user could turn it on. Oh, because you have to use the Force to manipulate the switch inside. Yes. I see.

[00:04:43] Uh, and it was also canon at the time that a non-Force sensitive person could not use a lightsaber effectively. Because of how long. Because they are so unwieldy. Because they are so light. Yeah. That you would just wind up hurting yourself. Yep. So it required Force sensitivity to use, not that it actually required it. You could hold it and swing it, it just, it would be so awkward you would take yourself out.

Uh, you've been hearing tell like places, uh, like certain planets and cities and planets

[00:15:07] that are, uh, going into, uh, chaos and riots, uh, as a, as a dark shadow, um, kind of, uh, seems to, uh, seems to be cast over those worlds. Um, and then even some settlements have even gone dark. Like just nobody's like heard from people in those settlements on various, uh, planets in the Outer Rim. Uh, so it's not very good. And also ships are going missing. Tons of ships are going missing, uh, by just like, they, they, they do a hyperspace, a

[00:15:36] jump and then they just never come back. Or they, they never reach their destination. Or come, come off from down on the planet, and the, uh, the shadow is cast away. And you kind of zoom in, you kind of zoom through the stars with this shadow as it is cast off from this planet. Um, to, um, another planet that looks off. You kind, you may, you kind of recognize it.

[00:17:31] Um, it, it is a broken world. Like it is half of a planet, and then the, but the core is exposed. And there is dark presences there. Lots of dark presence, small dark presences, and then this large presence in the core of the planet. It's where it's exposed. I was just gonna say that. Hmm? It's Christmas. Presences. Goddamn it.

[02:58:56] and actually as that happens there's suddenly as all of the haunted fleet just explodes i thought there was gonna be a dubstep theme song for a second yeah yeah yeah basically all the suddenly like amidst like they just start like crashing into each other or just exploding of their own of their own volition and the remaining bits of the fleet of the other fleets like the the the um the striking fleet kind of like managed like start like
