RPX Rollup- Episode 12 - Dresden Accelerated

Tonight on RPX Roll-up, ‘Tis I, Crazon! I've convinced (rather easily) Adam, Jeremy, David and One Less Die player and Dresden Files fanboy Josh to roll up characters in Dresden Files Accelerated and generate material for supernatural shenanigans in the quaint Kentucky town of Morehead. *immature joke edited out by Adam*

Today's Rollup Characters

[00:00:01] Hi, welcome to The Roleplaying Exchange. I am review cultist or craze on a man of many

[00:00:27] names and I am here with a bunch of people to roll up some characters based off of the

[00:00:36] Dresden files accelerated. And before we get too far ahead, let's introduce the other

[00:00:40] players or the other people in this chat starting at the top of the list.

[00:00:45] Sue Minesme since I'm at and hello, I'm at and I just started reading the Dresden files

[00:00:52] for the Dresden, I have been to our kicking screen, maybe actual drugs like that. But

[00:00:58] I'm loving it. So this opportunity came an option. I jumped at it and you know, typically

[00:01:08] we don't introduce our players yet. We're kind of our players as we go. Now this

[00:01:13] isn't a critique to you. God, I was fighting the errors introduced to character I'm going

[00:01:16] to create, but we'll get into that. But I'm two books deep into the Dresden files. So

[00:01:22] obviously I need to play the game now. So thank you for having me.

[00:01:26] No problem. And next up, this is Jeremy. I'm a lifelong Dresden fan have been since

[00:01:35] what seems like forever. I'm about 15 books deep in and I have the last two coming

[00:01:41] on the way. So whenever craze on graciously decided he was going to run a Dresden game, I

[00:01:46] was super excited and on board and I definitely appreciate you having me.

[00:01:50] Yeah. And Josh.

[00:01:53] This is this is Josh. And I think I got lost because this isn't one less die.

[00:01:58] Yeah, no, you're you're in the RPX server now. You're at Adam's neighborhood.

[00:02:04] So many cross pollinating.

[00:02:07] So many Americans. Welcome to the hive of scum and villainy.

[00:02:11] I live across from Detroit. It's fine. I'm used to it.

[00:02:16] I am 17 books deep in the Dresden files and currently waiting for the newest one because

[00:02:20] he doesn't write fast enough. Damn it. And I have been pissing craze on off for literal

[00:02:26] years because I read them.

[00:02:28] Yeah, I guess I should also have explained my experience with the Dresden files.

[00:02:32] I saw the show and then I found it was a book series that I thought one of our other

[00:02:38] friends would like. So I let him I told him about it and he got he became such a fanboy

[00:02:44] that he refused that I utterly refused to read the books because he overhyped them

[00:02:48] so much for four years.

[00:02:51] And then when the pandemic happened, I listened to all the audiobooks.

[00:02:56] And the best part was when he found out I read them when me and that same

[00:03:01] friend started talking about them in front of him and his exact words were, Oh, no,

[00:03:05] another one. Yes.

[00:03:08] So I like the Dresden files because like when I got when I got about two books into

[00:03:14] the Dresden audiobooks, I was like, oh, no, I love these.

[00:03:17] They're good.

[00:03:21] So I by any begrudgingness is more on the people than the books.

[00:03:27] I did go it.

[00:03:31] But yeah, so I guess that brings it to me.

[00:03:35] Hi, everybody. This is David, another cross pollinator.

[00:03:39] I've been on several different podcasts because I'm started with RPPR and then

[00:03:46] I just kind of cross pollinated my way into all of them.

[00:03:50] Yeah. So all of your podcasts belong to me.

[00:03:54] I wouldn't say belong to me, but you invited me and nobody has figured out

[00:03:59] the management spell yet so need her.

[00:04:03] And he's a vampire.

[00:04:05] You let him in.

[00:04:07] Well, so I have my own Dresden story.

[00:04:12] I was introduced to the books

[00:04:17] when the series was 15 books deep.

[00:04:20] And I read in this order to start off one to 15.

[00:04:26] And then I devoured the entire series over the course of a weekend because 15

[00:04:32] was just so good.

[00:04:34] And so I ended up powering my way through the entire series

[00:04:40] from one weekend to the next.

[00:04:42] I had a week off of work for whatever reason, and I read the entire series.

[00:04:48] And then I went back and read book 15 twice.

[00:04:52] And I've since reread it, reread it, reread it.

[00:04:56] But now I've joined the legend of the faithful who wait for the new books every

[00:05:01] single time one comes out.

[00:05:04] There are so many of the stories that I have read just repeatedly because

[00:05:10] it's the right season of the year.

[00:05:11] There are short stories out there.

[00:05:13] And if you guys know where to find those and I just snag them as they come.

[00:05:19] And when the Dresden Files RPG book came out, out of all of the books

[00:05:25] that I could have taken to Jim to get signed, I brought that one.

[00:05:31] And not only do I have a signed copy of Dresden Files, but my character

[00:05:36] from the first Dresden Files campaign is signed by Jim because he read it.

[00:05:41] He loved the concept so much.

[00:05:44] Nice.

[00:05:44] So here we are.

[00:05:46] You're basically the closest we have to a canon character.

[00:05:51] It's been signed in everything.

[00:05:53] It's got a seal on it that says it's authentic.

[00:05:56] Okay.

[00:06:00] So yeah, Adam, do you want to take over for the roll up?

[00:06:03] Because I don't know how these things go.

[00:06:05] Okay.

[00:06:06] So Dresden is sorry.

[00:06:09] It's a fake game.

[00:06:12] So we are actually going to be using row 20 to go ahead and create our characters.

[00:06:17] And like other row of said we do this one's actually not just

[00:06:22] percolating, but there's some foundational stuff.

[00:06:26] So we're going to go ahead and go through character creation, which

[00:06:30] should be in a fake game if I'm not mistaken here.

[00:06:33] And accelerated at that it's going to be fairly simple.

[00:06:37] And then we're going to actually kind of jump into the campaign or

[00:06:42] I can't be just kidding but the locale and do a nice little session about that.

[00:06:48] So.

[00:06:50] Am I correct in that so far?

[00:06:52] Yeah, yeah.

[00:06:53] We're, yeah, Dresden files accelerated it uses the fade accelerated system.

[00:06:57] And yeah, we're going to make characters in it.

[00:06:59] And then we're going to try and develop a location for these

[00:07:05] characters to live in and run a game in.

[00:07:08] So.

[00:07:09] So, yeah, I guess character creation was all kind of go well.

[00:07:14] Okay.

[00:07:14] Let me go ahead and throw off here.

[00:07:16] And by the way, craze on Chris, you call just a man of many names.

[00:07:20] Why don't you create a character as well?

[00:07:23] Like it would be fun.

[00:07:24] Like we can all go through this together.

[00:07:27] And if you don't have a cute cool NPC, you have something that maybe

[00:07:30] you can use a little bit later on.

[00:07:31] So we know.

[00:07:33] Yeah.

[00:07:34] Okay.

[00:07:34] Um, here's a question because you and I have talked a little bit about your

[00:07:38] idea for a character.

[00:07:39] Can I make Dr.

[00:07:40] Phil?

[00:07:42] Go out, go with it.

[00:07:43] By all means go for it.

[00:07:45] I don't know.

[00:07:46] I don't, for the audience, I don't mean Dr.

[00:07:49] Phil, the TV, like the fake TV doctor.

[00:07:52] I mean, like a character, a side character that is connected to Adam's character concept.

[00:08:00] I think maybe I should just go ahead and jump into my character concept.

[00:08:03] We can all go with this.

[00:08:05] So full disclosure of the game set in Moorhead, Kentucky, which is actually,

[00:08:12] you know, I graduated college from there.

[00:08:14] I'm intimately familiar with it.

[00:08:16] I've shown, I've shown the city to Chris when he was down and, uh, you know,

[00:08:22] that's kind of where it all started there.

[00:08:24] And I was thinking of local names and just people I knew, just kind of a little

[00:08:28] shout out.

[00:08:29] So honestly, I just started with the name Katelyn because I really

[00:08:33] like these old kind of Old Testament biblical style names, Ashry,

[00:08:37] Obadi, you know, things like that.

[00:08:39] I always loved those.

[00:08:40] Abraham.

[00:08:41] Well, no, that's kind of Moorhead.

[00:08:45] But, uh, so I started with Katelyn because I actually went to school for Katelyn.

[00:08:51] And I was thinking of a name that's from, geographically from this region

[00:08:55] of Eastern Kentucky.

[00:08:57] So I've stuck with, and I really liked the name Katelyn Blackburn.

[00:09:02] So I don't necessarily have the class and all that kind of hammered out yet,

[00:09:07] but that's my name.

[00:09:09] And to look to cat out of the bag, uh, through my character creation process

[00:09:14] on RPG, I typically would jump into an AI, not to still artist hard

[00:09:19] working dollars, but just to bounce ideas around like what he looks like.

[00:09:25] And then that kind of leads to character development in my head.

[00:09:28] And I wanted him because there is a reported sightings of Sasquatch

[00:09:34] in the area.

[00:09:35] I thought it would be very cool if you'd be in a dress again.

[00:09:38] To have, uh, make one of my best friends is a Sasquatch.

[00:09:42] And I, for some reason, I stuck with the name feel.

[00:09:46] Uh, well, I guess we could, I'll just you go into feel more when we get into it.

[00:09:49] But yeah, so that does kind of my character.

[00:09:52] I'm not necessarily set with magic and what I have yet.

[00:09:57] I'm wanting to kind of see what everybody else wrote up as we go through this.

[00:10:00] So Katelyn Blackburn, late 20s, early 30s.

[00:10:04] Okay.

[00:10:05] Then I guess this is a good segue for my for the character I'm making.

[00:10:08] I'm going to be playing a character known as paddling high in Lake

[00:10:13] or as he has become known to the mortals

[00:10:17] through his virtual virtual classes at Moorhead School.

[00:10:24] Dr. Phil, he is going to be a sky.

[00:10:30] Sky path, bigfoot.

[00:10:34] So I have actually found a, a mantle template for big for the, for the forest

[00:10:41] people in, in Dresden files.

[00:10:43] Nice.

[00:10:43] So we will give that a shot.

[00:10:47] Um, and yeah, so I'm going to, I'm going to make, uh, the bigfoot known as Dr.

[00:10:53] Phil, um, for this game.

[00:10:56] So throw them out to our guys.

[00:10:58] Whoever's got an idea.

[00:10:59] Yep.

[00:11:00] Jeremy, I guess you're next on the roster since you're down the list.

[00:11:04] That works.

[00:11:04] Um, I had an idea of a, as Adam actually gave me the idea of a banjo

[00:11:12] playing assassin, which I actually absolutely loved.

[00:11:16] So I just kind of ran with it.

[00:11:17] But, um, my guys, he's a gig musician.

[00:11:24] He's, if you, if he was in the band, he would kind of basically think

[00:11:29] of him as the, the base player.

[00:11:32] He's, he's the guy that sets the rhythm, but he never really stands out.

[00:11:36] So I ended up making my idea was him being a practitioner of magic, but

[00:11:42] the fact that he can see, uh, wave motions.

[00:11:45] So that helps him play music, do everything else.

[00:11:48] And then he actually realized he can start manipulating said wave motions.

[00:11:52] So he's kind of a background, almost a support bard like character that he's

[00:11:58] more subtle aspect builder.

[00:12:01] If he has to get his hands dirty, it's very quick and quiet because

[00:12:04] he can manipulate light and sound and stuff like that.

[00:12:07] Oh yeah.

[00:12:07] I just realized that you could literally like play, uh, like you

[00:12:11] could play the silence, like basically like quite yourself, like completely

[00:12:16] cancel the noise around you and like also like bend light around you.

[00:12:22] That's actually what I was thinking, uh, whenever I was thinking,

[00:12:24] because there's a, I was thinking for his burnout power, he just basically

[00:12:28] caused complete sensory deprivation in a certain area, in a confined area to

[00:12:34] where he's the only one that can see and everybody else has no, is basically

[00:12:38] dead as far as sounds go or is, um, like sensory goes.

[00:12:43] Nice.

[00:12:44] All right.

[00:12:45] Uh, next up, Josh.

[00:12:47] Hi.

[00:12:49] I still don't really have a full idea of what I'm doing, but it's

[00:12:53] an interesting fellows game.

[00:12:55] I have to be a wizard.

[00:12:56] This is the one game I have to be a wizard.

[00:12:58] Yeah.

[00:12:59] You're a wizard, Harry.

[00:13:01] Are they going to be a pyro though?

[00:13:03] I listen.

[00:13:06] You have a record.

[00:13:07] I know.

[00:13:09] And when I woke up this morning, I was still thinking about this going,

[00:13:12] well, Rexord satisfied the lot of the urge to be a pyro.

[00:13:16] Might offer a suggestion to you, Josh.

[00:13:20] One second.

[00:13:21] But then I had to imagine he was building a fire.

[00:13:25] I was like, oh, fire.

[00:13:28] It's like an instant flip to I want to be a pyro men's again.

[00:13:32] Go Adam.

[00:13:34] I was going to say there's a, it's more of a concern in like agrarian areas

[00:13:39] stuff, but in older times, but it was always like a great sin and a

[00:13:44] horrible thing to do to burn another man's barn because you're

[00:13:48] basically cutting his livelihood out from my dream.

[00:13:50] So you don't know what I'm going to do yet.

[00:13:52] I'm not, but I'm just saying like, yeah, it's a good one.

[00:13:57] Thank barn burner.

[00:13:58] Maybe maybe maybe you can kind of get a direction.

[00:14:00] Not saying that you're like a pyro, a pyro that burns down

[00:14:05] people's barns and stuff like that.

[00:14:07] But you know, maybe that's what you're known as.

[00:14:10] Like you were practicing in your grandfather's barn shed or whatnot.

[00:14:15] And whoops.

[00:14:18] It's something to keep in mind.

[00:14:18] Yeah.

[00:14:19] Yeah.

[00:14:20] All right.

[00:14:21] And so, yeah, wizard and.

[00:14:24] Wizard.

[00:14:26] And then we have last but not least, David.

[00:14:29] Well, I just want to mention that when thinking about core concepts,

[00:14:34] I tossed around a couple of ideas, but then I landed on one of the

[00:14:39] greatest lines ever written in any game book ever, which was

[00:14:44] Baron Eric von Karthoff began life as a panther.

[00:14:49] And I found myself thinking, you know, it would be lovely to have a

[00:14:53] were creature within the party.

[00:14:56] Just because.

[00:14:57] And so I started taking a look at the, I started taking a look

[00:15:02] at the were creature template.

[00:15:04] And one of the first things that it says is that you are a

[00:15:07] mortal well versed in one magical spell transformation of yourself

[00:15:11] at will into one specific animal form such as Wolver Bear.

[00:15:15] Chawini.

[00:15:16] Get you cut there.

[00:15:18] And so when I looked at it, basically it says pick a mortal template

[00:15:23] and then attach it.

[00:15:25] And so I'm thinking that I am in fact a panther who has learned

[00:15:30] one magical spell and that is turned into human.

[00:15:35] Well enough to pass.

[00:15:37] There is a precedence in Dresden for that.

[00:15:40] There is indeed.

[00:15:42] Um, and so I thought, you know, might as well just roll right on in.

[00:15:47] And it says roll up and take a look at the mortal templates.

[00:15:50] And upon rolling up, I get to see the, I looked at the wealthy

[00:15:56] template and I went, this fits all too well.

[00:15:59] So I have this thought of that wealthy recluse of a person

[00:16:08] that lives outside of town, that has that really amazing lodge.

[00:16:13] And nobody knows exactly how he got to be wealthy.

[00:16:17] No one knows where the money came from, but they know that he's

[00:16:21] a bit eccentric and you don't talk to.

[00:16:25] So I'm thinking, you know what, I'm just even going to port

[00:16:27] the name and everything.

[00:16:28] So no Baron, but Ulrich von Karakoff.

[00:16:33] Nice.

[00:16:34] So he's very, he's rich.

[00:16:37] He's vaguely foreign because he doesn't sound quite like everybody else.

[00:16:42] And the idea is that most of the people in Morehead think

[00:16:47] that he is a rich foreigner who just moved in some time in the past.

[00:16:53] But at the same time they're also like, yeah, um, von Karakoff has

[00:16:59] been here since, oh, I don't know.

[00:17:01] Granny, did he move in back in your day?

[00:17:04] No, he was here before my time.

[00:17:07] Okay.

[00:17:08] I wonder if this is the younger Baron.

[00:17:11] I mean, it could be a replacement.

[00:17:14] We don't know how old he actually is, but look at him.

[00:17:17] He's fairly young and strapping.

[00:17:20] God bless him.

[00:17:21] Bless his heart.

[00:17:23] Why is it man constantly licking himself?

[00:17:27] Apparently it's one of them foreign things they do that.

[00:17:30] And like all of the things about him that just seem panthery get

[00:17:36] shocked up to he's foreign.

[00:17:38] Suddenly Tommy Wiseau makes so much more sense.

[00:17:42] There you go.

[00:17:47] But at the same time, he has learned to use the money that

[00:17:51] he has acquired as a force for good.

[00:17:54] Cause like whenever there is a charity fundraiser of whatever

[00:17:58] kind, um, people will go to the von Karakoff estate as in, you

[00:18:05] know, mockingly referred to it as that, but you know, big hunting

[00:18:08] lodge outside of town.

[00:18:10] And like I see how the kids would be daring each other.

[00:18:15] It's like, all right, somebody needs to try to sell to sell to

[00:18:21] or Ulrich.

[00:18:22] So who's going to be the one who's going to try it this year?

[00:18:25] Because on the one hand scary, but on the other hand,

[00:18:28] rich.

[00:18:29] So I like the idea of the kids just kind of going, which, which

[00:18:34] girl scout is going to sell him the cookies?

[00:18:36] Which boy scout is going to sell him the popcorn?

[00:18:40] Cause you know that one of them will succeed.

[00:18:42] And basically it's the first one to make it to the door, but

[00:18:45] you're, they don't want to go to the door in the first place.

[00:18:49] So I feel like one of your aspects of the reputation precedes

[00:18:52] you something along those lines.

[00:18:56] Yes.

[00:18:58] Why didn't you just hit the sandlock?

[00:19:00] Why didn't you just knock on the door?

[00:19:01] I got that for you.

[00:19:03] Yeah.

[00:19:05] So as we go through this, those of you who have addressed an

[00:19:08] accelerated book, it starts on page 91 for character creation.

[00:19:12] So I'm going to read a tad bit from the text and it's going

[00:19:15] to provide kind of a framework to what we're going to do.

[00:19:18] And then we're going to go forward.

[00:19:19] So starting off in this game, each player portrays a

[00:19:23] character of their own nature needs, desires, problems,

[00:19:26] transplants, and special abilities.

[00:19:28] But as TS Eliot said, when forced to work within the strict

[00:19:32] framework, the imagination is taxed the utmost and will

[00:19:36] produce the richest ideas total given total freedom.

[00:19:40] The work is likely to sprawl.

[00:19:42] Thus rather than allowing players the freedom to

[00:19:44] write their own characters, however they desire, I have

[00:19:47] provided a framework of constraints, which to create

[00:19:52] each character before commencing with your

[00:19:55] character's creation.

[00:19:56] This is going to queue up our good GM here.

[00:19:59] You and the other players will have discussed the games and

[00:20:02] those parameters as described on page 84, which I have not

[00:20:05] looked at thus garnered a good idea of the spatial

[00:20:10] temporal narrative context considering the character

[00:20:14] creation process.

[00:20:15] So I'm not glancing at 84 real quick, Chris.

[00:20:18] Yeah.

[00:20:18] It's basically like creating a campaign.

[00:20:20] So we're basically we get kind of air out some like things

[00:20:25] to make sure like everybody's on the same page for like what

[00:20:28] they want in this campaign or in this game and sort of trying

[00:20:33] to establish, I guess, I guess character before character

[00:20:35] creation, I guess it is city creation or at least framework

[00:20:39] creation.

[00:20:40] Yeah.

[00:20:41] So yeah, I guess starting off.

[00:20:46] Is there any anything off the table for you guys?

[00:20:51] For like, I can take a yeah.

[00:20:53] I can think of either.

[00:20:55] I feel safe with this group and being someone who sounds like

[00:20:59] to people from here because I can literally be a more head in

[00:21:02] 30 minutes right now.

[00:21:05] I know that you guys are probably there's some kind of

[00:21:10] I sound different.

[00:21:11] They sound different and stuff like that.

[00:21:13] So like with this with this group here, if you were trying

[00:21:16] to affect an Appalachian accident, it wouldn't it wouldn't

[00:21:20] disturb me or anything like that.

[00:21:22] Like I said, I don't think any of you all would ridicule me in

[00:21:25] that way.

[00:21:26] I guess the only thing and I don't think it would ever

[00:21:29] come up with this, but this from someone from the region

[00:21:33] and the only time you ever see us is like they like it's

[00:21:36] like poverty porn on the news.

[00:21:38] I guess you could say, I mean, there is Appalachia

[00:21:42] like any other place has its problems.

[00:21:45] It you know, whenever we're on the news is usually about how

[00:21:49] destitute certain parts of the region are and things like

[00:21:52] that.

[00:21:52] And you know, I don't feel like that's that's what this game

[00:21:56] is obviously going to be about and all that.

[00:21:58] So I'm giving you all my full like endorsement or whatever

[00:22:04] you want.

[00:22:04] And if anything, you know, kind of hits me wrong or I

[00:22:07] think like, maybe not then, you know, I will politely

[00:22:12] speak up and we'll address the issue.

[00:22:14] But yeah, I'm totally cool.

[00:22:17] I'll make sure just take a note of that.

[00:22:18] It's like just again, don't don't overdo it with like, yeah.

[00:22:23] Yeah, like with what crystal crystal does.

[00:22:25] Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

[00:22:28] Or like, yeah, this isn't like the a lot of the

[00:22:33] darker side of like justified, I guess, which

[00:22:37] in just a lot of like meth heads and stuff like that.

[00:22:39] So I'm not going to do that.

[00:22:41] And then, you know, if one were to pull the vampire

[00:22:44] to masquerade approach and like, well, meth heads are

[00:22:46] actually being caused by the white court.

[00:22:48] I mean, the vampire courts or something like that.

[00:22:51] Then obviously that's, you know, very parasitic in

[00:22:55] nature, in my opinion.

[00:22:57] So one thing I like about the Dresden files is the crime

[00:23:01] organizations do exist in the Dresden files novels and

[00:23:04] stuff like that, but they aren't supernatural.

[00:23:06] They're just the mundane powerhouse a lot of the

[00:23:09] time in because the supernatural basically works

[00:23:13] kind of like criminal organizations because they

[00:23:16] have to live in the shadows and they occasionally

[00:23:19] butt heads with the mundane underworld powers.

[00:23:24] So as a matter of fact, one of the bigger

[00:23:27] characters within the series is ostensibly a nothing

[00:23:34] special about him except for an inordinate amount

[00:23:37] of money crime Lord.

[00:23:38] Yeah.

[00:23:40] Yeah, exactly.

[00:23:41] So.

[00:23:43] OK, so.

[00:23:45] So what's your like, we've already introduced more heads

[00:23:47] like what are you kind of I think is what it was getting

[00:23:50] up to in character creation, just like the elevator pitch.

[00:23:54] I guess you could say without showing your hand too much.

[00:23:58] Gotcha.

[00:23:59] Yeah, I have a couple of ideas that I want to throw

[00:24:02] in to more head.

[00:24:04] Morehead being close to cave, a cave run lake.

[00:24:09] I do feel like I'm just going to toss this in here.

[00:24:12] Fomor in a Fomor, a Fomor faction in in the lake.

[00:24:18] What's the lake?

[00:24:19] There's a there's a flooded town beneath the lake.

[00:24:22] I think so.

[00:24:23] I mean, that would be perfect.

[00:24:24] That definitely fits.

[00:24:25] I can see that the human side of it is the drowned

[00:24:29] the people who were in that lake before it submerged.

[00:24:34] So I want to throw like have the Fomor there.

[00:24:37] This is going to be set in 2023 or 2024.

[00:24:40] It's like like the here and now.

[00:24:41] So I think at this point in the timeline of Dresden,

[00:24:44] the Fomor have been pushed back or been struck a pretty nasty blow.

[00:24:49] So they're not in timeline perspective.

[00:24:51] Yeah, the books haven't even hit the pandemic yet.

[00:24:54] OK, yeah.

[00:24:54] So yeah, as of right now, basically, the Fomor like

[00:24:58] are they're still out there, but they're not as big as they were.

[00:25:01] They're not as big a threat as they were

[00:25:03] because they kind of struck their they dealt their hand.

[00:25:05] So I think I've made it up to 2018.

[00:25:09] Yeah, so I think there's not far behind.

[00:25:11] Yeah, because he took some time off.

[00:25:14] Yeah. So I'm going to have like that.

[00:25:16] It was like his house burned down

[00:25:18] and he had a bunch of personal shit that happened.

[00:25:21] And then he wrote two entire series.

[00:25:23] Shit, I didn't realize that.

[00:25:26] Another idea I had was a

[00:25:29] there's a mysterious radio signal that pops in overnight

[00:25:34] that kind of alludes to a

[00:25:38] alludes to war like to like situations that are going on or happening

[00:25:42] or starting to happen in Moorhead or like basically

[00:25:45] kind of gives you guys a direction of like maybe you should look into something.

[00:25:49] The town car, so to speak.

[00:25:51] Yeah, kind of.

[00:25:53] And it's totally not going to have a a intro like

[00:25:57] Hello, my children above and below.

[00:25:59] Welcome to Arcane Dark Radio.

[00:26:02] I am your shepherd on the moon with airwaves.

[00:26:05] Reverend Kalisto or Coltis,

[00:26:09] Reverend Coltis, the word from our sponsors.

[00:26:11] Yeah.

[00:26:13] His hello, fresh.

[00:26:16] He had to bring

[00:26:17] he had to bring the word and warnings of things to go back up bumping the night.

[00:26:22] No, or VP.

[00:26:23] God damn it. Yes.

[00:26:25] So basically, I'm getting so many

[00:26:27] Linn, think, pin vibes like in the Warriors.

[00:26:30] If we illustrate the voice on the radio, all you the only part of the face

[00:26:35] you get to draw is the lower half of the face and the old school microphone.

[00:26:40] Yeah, basically. Oh, yeah.

[00:26:43] And this is totally not me inserting El Dente, Rigamortis into

[00:26:48] into the dress.

[00:26:51] But yeah, so I kind of like that idea.

[00:26:53] We are close.

[00:26:55] We are within basically spitting distance of

[00:27:00] a certain point pleasant in West Virginia.

[00:27:03] Like it's it's not too far away.

[00:27:06] So like maybe like deal with some stuff with between

[00:27:09] the more my catalytic converter that, yes.

[00:27:15] There is also an idea and actually spawned from the Dr. Phil

[00:27:18] like from from Adams, like having a big foot friend.

[00:27:23] I like the idea of perhaps some of his extended family

[00:27:27] coming down, coming coming up from from Florida

[00:27:31] and being basically skunk, skunk ape speed demons.

[00:27:36] So they are big feet that have made cars for themselves

[00:27:40] and are have been

[00:27:43] like to just like race around because like who's going to believe them?

[00:27:47] Who's going to believe the cops that try to stop them?

[00:27:50] Just as a side skunk,

[00:27:51] X speed demon would be the most metal punk band name.

[00:27:55] Yeah, it's pretty badass.

[00:27:59] Because yeah, because the forest people like the in the in the setting of Dresden,

[00:28:03] like the the Skypath, I think or the I think it's called the Skypath

[00:28:08] is basically a tradition that the big feet have

[00:28:11] where they do try to understand and like learn from the human world

[00:28:15] more than like their their forest path kin,

[00:28:18] which are more about like staying away from humanity and stuff like that.

[00:28:21] So and like more embracing nature.

[00:28:23] So I like the idea of like the skunk apes from Florida

[00:28:25] are like these Skypath Sasquatches that are motor heads.

[00:28:33] Yeah.

[00:28:34] I hope it's I'm thinking like theme wise,

[00:28:37] like this game is probably going to have some silliness,

[00:28:39] but also some darkness to it.

[00:28:41] Yeah, I really like that.

[00:28:43] I like that a lot.

[00:28:45] Sounds cool.

[00:28:46] Yeah, as anybody who has been anywhere near Florida will attest that tracks 100 percent.

[00:28:53] And I think it would be a nice thing for like to have your like again,

[00:28:57] like you basically Dr.

[00:28:58] Phil like approaches you there at a and says like, hey,

[00:29:02] so I have some cousins that have come up and they've they're a little rowdy.

[00:29:07] And then you guys have to basically like deal with like perhaps deal

[00:29:10] with the this this group of racing skunk apes

[00:29:16] because they're they're drawing too much attention to themselves, maybe or something.

[00:29:20] Boys, I'll quit harassing down that road.

[00:29:23] Yeah.

[00:29:25] I just wonder what those skunk egg boys are up to next.

[00:29:28] Suddenly there's a freeze frame of this.

[00:29:32] I would call it a Dodge Charger

[00:29:35] that's just frozen in midair with a bunch of big feet hanging out the side of it.

[00:29:40] More head and hazard aren't too far apart.

[00:29:43] All they got themselves in a bucket of syrup this week, didn't they?

[00:29:49] OK, sounds really good, man.

[00:29:52] OK, anything else you'd like to add before we go on to choosing our mantles?

[00:29:58] Well, yeah, actually, well, I kind of wanted to go around the table

[00:30:01] and like so like I those are the things the the main I like

[00:30:05] kind of broad strokes I have for for more head like what's going on in

[00:30:08] more head and such.

[00:30:09] But I also wanted to have a kind of a round table like thing where you like

[00:30:12] each person like suggests something for more head.

[00:30:16] That's like something like the add the supernatural flavor to it.

[00:30:20] So allow me to be the first.

[00:30:23] The no.

[00:30:26] OK, all right.

[00:30:27] So there and again, I know the place you guys can if you wanted to put a

[00:30:31] star what actually they have Starbucks now or mine.

[00:30:34] But like whatever you want, like this on the table.

[00:30:36] But I really there's a folk art museum there.

[00:30:41] Right. I did see the Kentucky Folk Art Center.

[00:30:45] What they don't tell you about is the Folk Art Center

[00:30:49] is that there's also folk art there for people

[00:30:53] who were there even before the indigenous people, but it's in the back rooms.

[00:30:58] Oh my God.

[00:31:00] You want me to throw the liminal space?

[00:31:02] Well, not like liminal space.

[00:31:04] I'm talking like it's just not it's a private collection thing.

[00:31:07] Oh, OK. OK.

[00:31:08] Sorry. The back room says a different connotation.

[00:31:10] Yeah, nowadays it's not for public, but there are.

[00:31:16] There were people before the people that we took the plan from.

[00:31:20] Nice. OK.

[00:31:22] Or were they people?

[00:31:23] But please continue.

[00:31:25] Yeah, no, I am.

[00:31:27] Oh, God, I have I have an idea for that actually to play with that.

[00:31:32] OK. Sorry, continue.

[00:31:37] OK, so basically the special art gallery be inside the art gallery.

[00:31:41] Yeah. OK. Got that written down.

[00:31:47] What about Jeremy?

[00:31:48] Do you have something you'd like to add to Moorhead?

[00:31:52] For some reason, I had it rattling around my head that like

[00:31:56] basically a like a subsection of the Fae

[00:32:00] or one of the courts has a stealing operation

[00:32:06] has a has a stealing operation.

[00:32:10] Actual moonshine, actual moonshine.

[00:32:14] I like that actual moonshine.

[00:32:17] I feel like Wild Fae fits that better.

[00:32:20] Oh, yeah. Or some of the some of the Earl Kings boys.

[00:32:24] I was even thinking it's like it's the the Earl Kings Wild Party.

[00:32:30] Oh, wasn't that Rex search?

[00:32:35] Yeah, I did actually throw that into the Rex search or one of our other

[00:32:38] or whatever campaigns of one less die where it's like,

[00:32:40] well, he's the Earl King, but he's also King Earl.

[00:32:44] Yeah, so that was fun.

[00:32:47] Yeah. So OK, actual moonshine.

[00:32:51] Wildfabe, actually, or a wildfabe distillers.

[00:32:54] OK. And Josh, honestly, you know me, I'm a fan of North North Smith.

[00:32:59] You said you're throwing in the four more unhappy.

[00:33:02] OK.

[00:33:05] Anything else you'd like to see?

[00:33:06] I honestly, I got nothing.

[00:33:08] I got no idea. It's like I haven't left Ontario, man.

[00:33:11] I don't fucking know.

[00:33:12] But you know Dresden, so like anything from Dresden aside from the foam

[00:33:15] war and so that you'd like to see more head.

[00:33:18] Honestly, without just like picking like I want all of this.

[00:33:21] No. OK.

[00:33:23] Although actually, actually, sorry,

[00:33:25] thoughts are real quick.

[00:33:26] I would like more.

[00:33:28] First Nations in there because we only ever get

[00:33:31] the one in what turncoat.

[00:33:33] Yeah. And that's really all we get.

[00:33:36] I would like more.

[00:33:37] OK, I will try.

[00:33:39] I also want to be for that.

[00:33:41] So yeah, I know.

[00:33:43] Yeah, but that is something I have wanted to address.

[00:33:46] Yeah, OK.

[00:33:48] It's it's something I believe is a key with the people that were here

[00:33:51] and their remnants I can find every time that we plow a field

[00:33:57] and we pick up error heads.

[00:33:59] I'm sorry.

[00:34:00] Yeah. All right.

[00:34:02] Actually, maybe I could use something with

[00:34:05] member Adam the mammoth cave thing.

[00:34:07] Yeah, where they they just they started like digging up that that Jepson.

[00:34:13] And then they just stopped for some reason.

[00:34:16] Oh, yeah, we took a picture of that, I think one of us.

[00:34:19] Yeah, that could be interesting to play with.

[00:34:21] Maybe like they went maybe that that maybe a group went somewhere else

[00:34:26] and then have maybe started like making a return.

[00:34:28] I don't know what to see again.

[00:34:30] That's that's good addition.

[00:34:32] Yeah.

[00:34:33] Well, thank you.

[00:34:35] Turncoat is my favorite book, so I had to throw in more.

[00:34:39] Fair.

[00:34:40] And David.

[00:34:42] Well, one of my favorite set pieces in all of Dresden is Macalene's bar.

[00:34:49] I was actually just thinking that

[00:34:52] just because it is the one place that is always, always, always treated as sanctuary.

[00:35:01] Nobody ever gets up and be within Mac's bar.

[00:35:04] And one of the things that has been a part of that is because it's Mac.

[00:35:11] OK, for those who haven't read all the way.

[00:35:16] I will say that Mac is a powerful entity of some sort.

[00:35:21] The jury is still out as far as what exactly is Mac.

[00:35:26] But there has been some pretty powerful speculation.

[00:35:31] But the one thing that everybody does agree on is that if Mac says no funny

[00:35:36] business beyond this point, there is no funny business beyond this point.

[00:35:40] So I kind of want there to be the one space that everybody has agreed.

[00:35:48] There is no fighting here.

[00:35:51] Like there is one place that is a neutral ground.

[00:35:55] I was just going to ask Adam, because you are local, what would be the one place

[00:35:59] that everybody has agreed no funny business here?

[00:36:02] Maybe not a bar, but maybe something else.

[00:36:06] Could it be like a hotel like kind of like the continental?

[00:36:10] If I may be so bold, I'm off man's down here.

[00:36:13] Well, of course, they're not that.

[00:36:14] Yeah, like I said, I said it's close, but it's like two hours away.

[00:36:17] I know, I know.

[00:36:19] All right, hear me out.

[00:36:21] One of it's actually I'm a basing off by the way, if you work for this place,

[00:36:26] you want to give me a free book because that would be great too.

[00:36:30] But one of the big staples is either in Morehead was they had a coffee place

[00:36:37] called the fuzzy duck and they so it was also a bookstore.

[00:36:42] So if it's near the campus, it's actually in a remodeled

[00:36:47] old theater, you know, back in the day when theaters were like one theater kind of deal.

[00:36:52] There's several different types of like bars from like local like towny bars

[00:36:57] also to like the college kids because it's a college town as well.

[00:37:02] But those are like that kind has to be.

[00:37:05] Yeah, the fuzzy duck is how it ground.

[00:37:09] Well, yeah, I like that.

[00:37:11] Dare I suggest that there is that little offshoot, the Bell Book and candle,

[00:37:15] the New Age Book and Gift.

[00:37:17] Yeah, let's run by the aging proprietor that everybody is absolutely convinced is

[00:37:23] supernatural in some way, but nobody could ever agree exactly how

[00:37:29] she is supernatural like people swear that she's a vampire because they never

[00:37:35] see her walk out during daylight.

[00:37:37] But then there's other people who swear that she's a witch because she always

[00:37:40] has all of the accrued Ramon.

[00:37:44] Some people think that she is a member of the Faye like that the jury is still out

[00:37:50] as far as just what this poor old woman actually is.

[00:37:54] I leave it as dealer's choice, but I personally am convinced that she's white

[00:37:58] court like she's she's one of the wizards and she just retired here thinking

[00:38:04] that this would be a place where it's like nothing ever happens at Morehead

[00:38:08] and puts down roots in the next week.

[00:38:10] God damn it.

[00:38:12] God fucking damn it.

[00:38:14] Yeah.

[00:38:15] So what was that called in?

[00:38:18] Bell Book and candle.

[00:38:20] Is that an actual place or is that just something you came up with?

[00:38:23] It's a place that has been referenced in a number of different things.

[00:38:26] It started out as a movie, but it is courtesy of Mercedes Lackey.

[00:38:33] It has come to be the occult book story in a bunch of different places.

[00:38:38] OK, how about how about this?

[00:38:39] It's it's so the Bell Book and candle, the bookstore is behind the fuzzy.

[00:38:46] Or it's like it's part.

[00:38:47] It's like it's like there's the fuzzy duck, which is for the mortals.

[00:38:52] But then you go behind the fuzzy duck and there's just this little building

[00:38:55] like squeeze between it and another building called the Bell Book and candle.

[00:39:00] It seems like it's just a tiny little bookstore, but it's bigger on the inside.

[00:39:04] Yeah.

[00:39:05] The reality is that it actually isn't bigger on the inside.

[00:39:09] The building's just crowded it and most of the location is underground.

[00:39:13] I actually like that.

[00:39:14] Yeah, it's actually just an old speakeasy.

[00:39:16] Or yeah, yeah, a speakeasy or they just like there's somebody like turned.

[00:39:20] Like they found a cave underneath

[00:39:23] underneath the building and they just like converted it into the into a space.

[00:39:28] I just wanted to retire and open a bookstore.

[00:39:33] You rascals.

[00:39:36] Dragon. OK, so yeah.

[00:39:37] So that's good.

[00:39:38] So yeah, so yeah, that's going to be her name, though.

[00:39:42] Or not our name, but that's going to be her attitude to Dragon Lady.

[00:39:47] Oh, yes.

[00:39:49] It's like ancient my but

[00:39:52] but it's like but yeah, I actually yeah, I like it's like a yeah.

[00:39:55] She you're not sure what she is, but like she's totally a dragon.

[00:39:59] Yeah, let's say she may just actually be a drag.

[00:40:01] Yeah.

[00:40:03] Like I want there to be the speculation like

[00:40:05] everybody is absolutely convinced that she is something nobody can agree on what.

[00:40:11] But the one thing that they do agree on is you don't fuck with the lady at the

[00:40:15] bookstore. Yeah.

[00:40:17] Like no, no, if she just kind of growls at you or just gives you the look,

[00:40:23] it's like I'll be good.

[00:40:25] The bookstore is basically her horde.

[00:40:27] Well, what's was Harry Potter?

[00:40:29] No, she's power and I hoard power.

[00:40:33] What was Harry Potter the ship?

[00:40:35] Shed up just one notch and certain courses at the college.

[00:40:39] This is where you get those books.

[00:40:42] I like that.

[00:40:43] But the bookstore is also the

[00:40:46] like the front section of the bookstore where there is the little coffee nook

[00:40:53] is the accepted holy ground.

[00:40:56] You know, you don't know fighting here because you don't want to piss off

[00:41:00] the ancient one.

[00:41:02] It's like three little tables with one chair each.

[00:41:06] More than one chair like.

[00:41:08] Yeah, it's got to be like a meeting.

[00:41:09] But it's a neutral it's a neutral ground for there's three tables with three

[00:41:14] chairs each because the power of three is very important within this building.

[00:41:19] Or there's a appropriate amount of chairs for the amount of people that come in.

[00:41:24] Oh, I like that even better.

[00:41:27] The chairs are there's always exactly enough chairs to accommodate the people.

[00:41:32] There's always room for one more.

[00:41:34] Yeah, literally.

[00:41:37] We need a name for her to like.

[00:41:40] George.

[00:41:43] Just call her Ma.

[00:41:45] Joyce Fitz or I like the idea of giving her either one of those really,

[00:41:51] really old time names like Mildred or Gertrude or Agatha.

[00:41:58] But I also kind of feel like she's spoken about in whispers.

[00:42:02] So she's called things like the ancient one.

[00:42:06] Like or Anastasia, which means resurrection.

[00:42:10] Oh, yeah.

[00:42:12] So Anna or Anastasia.

[00:42:14] Yeah.

[00:42:17] I was almost thinking is like Mama Anna.

[00:42:20] If you want to go Native American, it looks like a Chumana.

[00:42:23] It means snake maiden if you want to go Dragon Lady.

[00:42:26] Yeah, I kind of like that.

[00:42:30] So many options.

[00:42:30] Yeah. OK.

[00:42:32] The second that you try to give her a familiar nickname, though,

[00:42:36] you get the glare.

[00:42:38] So she is full named at all times.

[00:42:40] You turn the stone.

[00:42:43] She's nobody knows what actually happens.

[00:42:46] But it's one of those things where if it was

[00:42:48] Anastasia the first time somebody comes in and goes, hi, Stacey.

[00:42:52] They end up walking out.

[00:42:54] Why does a sheet going don't ever do that?

[00:42:57] And they mysteriously disappear within 24 hours.

[00:43:00] We don't know what happens to them.

[00:43:02] We just don't see them again for a while.

[00:43:05] And then when we do see them, it's like Miss Anastasia.

[00:43:09] Bowling full formality.

[00:43:12] Like, yep, learn the hard way not to do that.

[00:43:15] Then after that, never again.

[00:43:18] Yeah. What did you do?

[00:43:21] Seems like we got quite a bit here.

[00:43:23] Yeah, I'm going to have to add the

[00:43:25] bell, book and candle to not just factions, but also locations of interest.

[00:43:30] Yeah, I have a little I have a Google doc I've been making for this.

[00:43:34] There are quite little things here.

[00:43:37] I'm not going for a second one and stuff like that.

[00:43:39] But I'll just share in the chat.

[00:43:43] This is I see this every time I go.

[00:43:46] Well, it sounds weird if I say I go there.

[00:43:49] But

[00:43:50] well, we're out.

[00:43:52] So my brother is a wife.

[00:43:57] When occasionally I go up to their family stuff,

[00:44:00] so, you know, because like my nephew's birthdays and stuff like that.

[00:44:04] But I always drive by this right here, which is the dollhouse.

[00:44:10] And it's just this guy in his yard.

[00:44:13] He just got all these dolls.

[00:44:16] That is like that.

[00:44:18] That is definitely some kind of location.

[00:44:23] Yeah, that's not terrifying at all.

[00:44:25] No, that's that's like the teddy bear.

[00:44:26] That is literally like the teddy bear house I saw when I was traveling through

[00:44:30] Newfoundland. It's just a house where they've stapled and nailed teddy bears

[00:44:34] and other plushies to the outside of a of a of a coastal house.

[00:44:40] Well, we've got a place here in Springfield where they've made a fence

[00:44:43] entirely out of bicycles.

[00:44:46] Nice.

[00:44:47] By like welding them together.

[00:44:49] And I feel like this is the same thing.

[00:44:51] This is the toy collector.

[00:44:52] Yeah, they call him the Toy Man.

[00:44:56] Well, so let's let's deep dive on that.

[00:45:00] There is a toy collector in a bunch or there are toy collectors in a bunch of

[00:45:04] different places. They all seem a little strange.

[00:45:07] They all seem just a little out there, but they they collect wavered toys.

[00:45:13] Normally, they're the ones who find

[00:45:15] the plushie that has been abandoned and they're the ones who clean it up.

[00:45:20] And then the ones that cannot be cleaned are respectfully added to the teddy bear

[00:45:24] wall or in this case, the baby dolls that get abandoned, get cleaned up where

[00:45:29] they can and then get donated to children's hospitals and things.

[00:45:33] And then the ones that can't end up as part of the fence.

[00:45:37] For those listening at home, we'd like to tell you if you Google

[00:45:40] Kentucky's home for wavered baby dolls, you can see a little page on Kentucky

[00:45:45] for Kentucky about it.

[00:45:46] David, they run this front through the paddler's mall.

[00:45:51] So so there's like three markets and paddlers, malls in the area.

[00:45:56] So that would be, you know, maybe that's where they

[00:45:59] do the wheeling and dealing for the dolls and whatnot.

[00:46:03] So I had a peddler's mall.

[00:46:05] Yeah. And I'll stop adding stuff.

[00:46:07] I mean, I want you to because like I need I need locations like to kind of help

[00:46:12] familiarize with it. So at the university has a big space program.

[00:46:17] Yeah, the nun, the what is it?

[00:46:20] The nuns?

[00:46:21] Nunn Hall, I think Nunn Hall, which is this when I first looked at it in Street View.

[00:46:25] It's just this big imposing rectangle building on the side of a hill.

[00:46:30] It's just like, oh, that looks like it belonged to stranger things.

[00:46:35] People, I had a friend who graduated through their program when it first took off.

[00:46:40] And while he turned the job down, NASA tried to recruit him like I mean,

[00:46:45] he did internships at Berkeley and stuff like that.

[00:46:48] But you know, just starting off in that building.

[00:46:51] So there's a cool little thing that they got like this.

[00:46:54] I'm trying to think of anything else.

[00:46:56] That's just what she knew about Nunn Hall.

[00:46:57] So yeah, I mean, if anything else comes up, I'll just throw it out there.

[00:47:02] I don't want to hold you guys up into town creation too much longer.

[00:47:05] No, this is really cool.

[00:47:07] Yeah, I'm just I had like I have a list of just things I wanted to help establish

[00:47:11] for like to get to know like so we can figure out like who's who and who's

[00:47:15] who's in this town like with you guys?

[00:47:17] Like what is what is causing problems and what is who are who are

[00:47:22] like established factions in the town?

[00:47:25] So

[00:47:27] and then

[00:47:29] I would say so we I think we have like a pretty decent like startup for like

[00:47:33] for things and we can also add things later.

[00:47:35] Like if you guys want to have an idea, like

[00:47:37] shoot it my way and we'll we'll toss it into I'll toss it into the into a

[00:47:41] a spray like a Google Doc for that I'll share with you guys.

[00:47:45] OK, of like all the stuff that's going on in Moorhead and such.

[00:47:49] There is another like campaign seed idea I have, but I don't want to spoil

[00:47:54] what it is because it I want to leave it for the surprise.

[00:47:59] But it might have to do with with somebody getting a package at their door

[00:48:04] that they have to deal with.

[00:48:07] So

[00:48:09] a potato gram.

[00:48:11] Yeah, something like that.

[00:48:14] So

[00:48:16] OK, so we have so and then I guess the next thing here like now that we have

[00:48:21] like we've kind of helped establish the setting and we know what we're going

[00:48:25] to do with the hero now in Moorhead.

[00:48:28] We have some factions that we I can play with in Moorhead

[00:48:32] and for the game and such, I guess the next thing is to actually set up

[00:48:37] the players, the player characters.

[00:48:39] And then like once once we do that,

[00:48:41] we'll also figure out where once we've got the characters like actually like

[00:48:44] flushed out, we'll then figure out where they

[00:48:47] where they are in Moorhead and like how do how do they connect to these

[00:48:50] other factions or like or like to this to this town.

[00:48:53] So OK.

[00:48:55] So

[00:48:57] though the mantle you select for your character encompasses a character type is.

[00:49:02] So is that it's that like wizard or what?

[00:49:05] Yeah, the mantle is

[00:49:08] so for Dresden files accelerated, it's a little bit different from normal

[00:49:10] fate accelerated in that they give you a mantle to kind of

[00:49:14] basically it's an archetype within the Dresden verse that you you feel.

[00:49:18] So like mortals like pure mortal as a mantle and like what kind of like

[00:49:22] archetype or career do you have as a mortal?

[00:49:25] If you're playing one of the supernatural elements,

[00:49:27] you can play as like an infected red court or a white court,

[00:49:31] vampire, wizards or or or somebody with magical talent is a is an arc is a mantle.

[00:49:40] They're also like various like change

[00:49:42] links for the Fae or you can play a true Fae creature as well.

[00:49:45] So where is the mantles in a book here?

[00:49:50] It's in it's on page

[00:49:52] 16 114.

[00:49:54] Yeah, yeah.

[00:49:56] It's on 114.

[00:49:58] It starts actually on 119 to 120 is where it starts giving you mantles.

[00:50:03] So yeah, because page numbers start differently.

[00:50:07] Yeah, the actual PDF one.

[00:50:09] Yeah, I'm looking at the actual like page number on the on the bottom.

[00:50:13] Yeah, damn you PDFs.

[00:50:15] Yeah, I know. I hate that feature too.

[00:50:17] Oh, it's on this page.

[00:50:18] Oh, it's not four pages ahead.

[00:50:19] Yeah. So

[00:50:22] everybody seems a little magical and I hadn't really picked anything out yet.

[00:50:28] But everybody can be a practitioner of some sort.

[00:50:30] Is that correct? Yes.

[00:50:32] Yeah, you can everybody can be like the same thing if they want it to be like

[00:50:36] it's not like it's not that kind of game where like, oh, no, you can't be

[00:50:40] like a paladin like I already I'm already a paladin the kind of thing.

[00:50:43] We've got one paladin.

[00:50:45] We've got loops all paladins.

[00:50:46] Yeah. Yeah.

[00:50:48] You can all be a fan, vampires.

[00:50:50] You can all be wizards.

[00:50:51] Yeah, it's up to you guys.

[00:50:52] I'm thinking the closest thing that my character would be

[00:50:57] is the medic with this also a practitioner.

[00:51:02] So, you know, kind of going with this and I even talked like like a vet tech.

[00:51:07] Maybe it's a vet like on paper.

[00:51:09] He's a vet, but he could do other things.

[00:51:11] But there's a they come with you, which which granny's

[00:51:16] and deeper south, but would be Appalachian granny witch.

[00:51:20] What I'm kind of thinking that my character may have been raised by

[00:51:24] and kind of picked up some of his some of her ways.

[00:51:28] So I've always been and David, I know, is aware of this type of thing.

[00:51:32] But there's the blood player and things like that.

[00:51:35] It's in people swear by certain people do that you could

[00:51:41] or you could say I think it's like from the book of Ezekiel.

[00:51:43] But if if a person who has either been taught, I can't remember the parameters of it.

[00:51:50] But they can hold, they can put their hand over a wound and say the prayer

[00:51:54] and it will stop the bleeding kind of stuff like that.

[00:51:56] And I kind of like that to be, you know, there's magic.

[00:52:00] This character would have magic involved.

[00:52:02] But, you know, the big mantle will be the healer or the cleric.

[00:52:07] OK, so if I may make a suggestion for how to put that on paper,

[00:52:12] that might help you.

[00:52:14] OK, please.

[00:52:16] So the basic one as you're looking at is on page one, twenty eight,

[00:52:22] as far as the thing is concerned for medic.

[00:52:25] Yeah.

[00:52:26] But there is also if you look down here a little bit,

[00:52:30] I'm scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling.

[00:52:33] They see me scrolling and they hate it.

[00:52:38] So under spellcasters, there's also focused practice practitioner.

[00:52:43] Yeah.

[00:52:44] While lacking the raw power and training requisite for a full magic practitioner,

[00:52:47] you've been gifted whether by purpose or providence, some small yet potent

[00:52:51] mystical capability that permits considerable strength across a more limited spectrum.

[00:52:58] They they recommend the act of master more delinquents.

[00:53:03] And more is basically a spirit speaker right up until he gets way focused.

[00:53:10] There's a point when more is just the biggest badass, but within a very narrow section.

[00:53:17] I can see that.

[00:53:20] So basically it says here this mantle requires advanced preparation because

[00:53:23] magical power can manifest in countless ways, consult the DM in rules for

[00:53:26] creating stunts and modifying mantles for guidance.

[00:53:31] You usually operate at the supernatural scale.

[00:53:33] So basically you get a couple of the things that a mage has,

[00:53:40] but you don't get all of the wizard stuff.

[00:53:44] Yeah.

[00:53:44] It's basically there is one spell that you are very, very good at.

[00:53:48] And I could see that being

[00:53:50] you have a very high talent for healing magics and that's it.

[00:53:55] Yeah.

[00:53:55] Because you've you've learned the blood prayer

[00:53:59] and it works exceptionally well for you.

[00:54:02] Not only can you make the bleeding stop, but that wound that should not close

[00:54:09] somehow manages to close in some of the supernaturally created wounds that are

[00:54:14] not supposed to heal will heal when you focus on it.

[00:54:18] And it's one of those things that even the local wizards are like that shouldn't

[00:54:22] happen and you just chalk it up to, oh no, I said the blood prayer over it.

[00:54:27] It's all right. It's fine.

[00:54:29] Yeah.

[00:54:31] It's totally not fine.

[00:54:33] That this should not happen.

[00:54:35] It's magic.

[00:54:36] Yeah, it's fine.

[00:54:37] This doesn't follow the rules of magic.

[00:54:39] Who are you to tell me what the rules of magic are?

[00:54:44] I've never been one for rules, but I appreciate that.

[00:54:48] Thank you so much.

[00:54:49] I'll do that under advisement.

[00:54:53] No, I'll take it like that's what I wanted.

[00:54:55] Yeah, it did also actually it through that it also kind of you guys

[00:55:00] know what the scale system is in Dresden files accelerated.

[00:55:04] No, it is something they added to the Dresden files thing.

[00:55:08] So basically there there's a tiered scale system

[00:55:12] from mundane supernatural otherworldly legendary and godlike.

[00:55:17] And sometimes based off of your mantle and stuff like that or based off

[00:55:21] of certain creatures that you're dealing with,

[00:55:24] that scale gives basically bonuses to somebody who is higher than

[00:55:30] another person on the scale.

[00:55:33] So like mundane is like all things absent of supernatural influence,

[00:55:38] like regular humans.

[00:55:40] Supernatural is the majority of the mantles.

[00:55:43] So like basically like Knights of the Cross, very courts, vampires,

[00:55:48] the practitioners and stuff.

[00:55:51] Otherworldly are the most powerful of the supernatural forces in the mortal realm.

[00:55:56] So like the senior council of wizards,

[00:55:58] the big families of like the various courts of vampires

[00:56:03] and even like the she know and like she nobility or like fey nobility and stuff

[00:56:07] like that legendary are like Queen Mob is a legendary.

[00:56:14] The dragon Farovax in is one of those.

[00:56:18] They don't even qualify as godlike.

[00:56:20] Oh my God.

[00:56:21] Godlike is like the angelic host and all the gods,

[00:56:27] like the all the different gods that show up here and there in Dresden.

[00:56:32] So when applying scale to two opposing forces or individuals,

[00:56:37] compare the sides levels and determine who is higher and by how many levels,

[00:56:42] they get one of the following benefits on any role action against the lesser.

[00:56:48] You get a plus one per level of difference to their action below the role

[00:56:54] or plus two per level of difference to the result after the role, if the role

[00:57:00] succeeds and one additional free invoke per level of difference to the result

[00:57:08] of a successful create advantage action.

[00:57:11] So it basically help you're going up against a basically it's kind of like

[00:57:19] if you're going up against something above your belt,

[00:57:21] be prepared to that it's going to be a harder fight because the thing gets

[00:57:26] some advantages over you as a result.

[00:57:29] And that's not just in combat, but also like in in like social duels or like

[00:57:34] that could also be like social things and and other like actions and stuff like

[00:57:38] that. So don't try and swing too high above your weight class.

[00:57:42] Yeah, exactly.

[00:57:43] Yeah. No, we're all going to take on something God like let's go.

[00:57:46] All right, guys are going up against.

[00:57:47] Yep. Yeah.

[00:57:49] Cthulhu rises out of Cape Run Lake.

[00:57:51] No, well, it's time to go by.

[00:57:55] It's also scary to think that, you know,

[00:57:57] Mab doesn't qualify for God like.

[00:57:59] Yeah.

[00:58:01] That is both one makes her less terrifying and more.

[00:58:07] Yeah.

[00:58:08] I will say while Mab is not the mothers of the fairy courts are.

[00:58:12] Oh, so that should tell you something

[00:58:15] about them. Yeah.

[00:58:17] Sorry, sorry, Adam, we are kind of no, it's totally fine.

[00:58:21] Like I'll find out one day.

[00:58:22] But one day.

[00:58:24] Yeah, actually, you're not too much far off.

[00:58:26] You got a couple more books before you encountered the fairy stuff.

[00:58:29] So if we hurry up, face just like I'll get back to.

[00:58:32] Right, right, right.

[00:58:34] We're hurrying.

[00:58:35] I'm actually jealous.

[00:58:36] Adam is reading them and I'm not.

[00:58:38] I have got to slug my way through wheel of time.

[00:58:41] All right, so I know I'm only on book five.

[00:58:46] So Adam, so your mental, yeah, so I guess you're going to go.

[00:58:48] Were you thinking like sticking with the

[00:58:51] spellcaster sounds like it's like David's.

[00:58:54] I mean, I'm paper, I'm a medic and I probably do have like.

[00:58:58] Yeah, like you have asked maybe that works with the vet tech more.

[00:59:02] Like, yeah, I can help you.

[00:59:03] I can, you know, doctor your cow.

[00:59:04] Well, but I can help reattach your severed limb or large animal bit.

[00:59:10] The mantle is what your character is like, basically the mantle is how is a package

[00:59:16] of stunts and stuff you can use your high concept and your troubles and stuff like

[00:59:21] the stuff that fate accelerated like has for like making your core character.

[00:59:24] That can still be like the vet tech and stuff.

[00:59:27] OK, yeah.

[00:59:28] The mantle just kind of gives you a package of stunts that you already that

[00:59:31] you get before you actually can then start taking some other stunts if you

[00:59:34] want, because I think in this system, they the Dresden files, the one they

[00:59:38] the mantles help beef up your character to a Dresden character.

[00:59:42] OK, they do.

[00:59:43] And basically, if you look into each of your different sections like they give

[00:59:49] you, so for instance, do, let me let me scroll back up to mine.

[00:59:55] So for mine for a rare creature, I've got some unique conditions that come

[01:00:01] along with it and then I got core stunts, which I start with,

[01:00:04] which are Beast Whisperer and the human touch.

[01:00:08] I have additional stunts that I have access to, but I have to actually

[01:00:15] pick them up.

[01:00:17] Yeah, so I have to say, for instance, Beast Form Adept, choose one of two

[01:00:22] approaches switched after transformation and plus one to it for all actions

[01:00:26] or healing transformation once per session when you resume human form

[01:00:29] after a transformation recover from in peril or start, but not fully

[01:00:33] recover, doomed, providing either condition reflects physical injury or Beast

[01:00:39] Collar once per session, garnered the aid of an animal or group of animals of

[01:00:43] your type shifting a depth.

[01:00:45] Yeah, when you transform into your animal form, clothes and everything else on

[01:00:49] you actually transform with you as opposed to, well, I really like those pants.

[01:00:55] Tear.

[01:00:56] Yeah, yeah, the the the kid from Twilight just turning into a werewolf

[01:01:02] and always having to like hold on to jeans or a pair of shorts.

[01:01:07] Jacobs always go on Commando, sir.

[01:01:10] Yeah, exactly.

[01:01:12] Or fleeting transfer.

[01:01:13] Yeah, basically, I wouldn't know those are the ones that I have access to,

[01:01:17] but I don't start with those.

[01:01:19] I actually have to pay to pick those up.

[01:01:22] Yeah, that's when you're like using your refreshes to buy those.

[01:01:25] Yes.

[01:01:26] Yeah.

[01:01:27] So and for because I know that Adam is all about the theme.

[01:01:32] Every concept or aspect that I add to this thing is going to be a song title.

[01:01:39] So my high concept is Panthers.

[01:01:43] My trouble is walk like a man.

[01:01:51] Other aspects are money, money, money.

[01:01:55] Hungry eyes.

[01:01:56] And I don't give a damn about my bad reputation.

[01:01:59] I I hate that I can propose this.

[01:02:03] What if you guys were all in a band?

[01:02:07] I mean, I'm already set up for it.

[01:02:08] That's what I mean, like between like between like the lyrical

[01:02:11] like like flavoring of your your aspects there, David.

[01:02:16] And that is like and Adam's

[01:02:18] propension for naming his character off of a off of a country.

[01:02:22] Music star.

[01:02:23] Mm hmm.

[01:02:24] It's like what if you guys are just like that's what binds your characters

[01:02:27] together, your all bandmates?

[01:02:31] I can kind of see that.

[01:02:32] We got Dr. Phil on lead.

[01:02:35] Oh, he's he's he's on an upright base, sir.

[01:02:39] That is true.

[01:02:40] Yeah, we're a bluegrass band.

[01:02:43] Of course, I've got natural guitar picks.

[01:02:48] Josh, what medicine do you want?

[01:02:51] Fuck if I know vocals.

[01:02:54] The Jow heart.

[01:02:56] Frankly, I was going to suggest that

[01:02:58] since Adam is going vet tech, I was going to say I know the linking thing

[01:03:04] because one of the bits that we get to do in here is

[01:03:09] with most Dresden files, you have to pick a background event,

[01:03:12] which is how you met one of the other characters.

[01:03:15] Yeah.

[01:03:16] And I was going to say I can totally see

[01:03:19] stumbling my way in to see Adam.

[01:03:22] And so Adam is one of the few people who actually knows about the cat transformation

[01:03:27] before everybody else does and just kind of he knows the truth of it.

[01:03:31] It's just did you did you realize that that that that guy with the very

[01:03:37] dark hair, olive skin and very intense staring green eyes that just seems to never blink?

[01:03:45] Did you did you realize that he could turn himself into a cat?

[01:03:48] That's what Adam just kind of goes, no, that's actually a cat that turns into a person.

[01:03:53] There's a difference slide, but it's there.

[01:03:56] That's why I don't have rock and chairs in my office.

[01:03:59] Yeah.

[01:04:01] OK, so for I guess, yeah, for the so you're going to go if you're going to go

[01:04:04] with the focus practitioner mantle, then that's something you'd add.

[01:04:08] You'd put that on your your mantle.

[01:04:13] The Dresden Falls accelerated sheet in the

[01:04:17] in World 20 doesn't actually have it slotted as the mantle like where to put it.

[01:04:21] So I would say just put under your your aspects.

[01:04:24] There's a spot that says mantle does your name and then mantle right?

[01:04:28] Oh, what?

[01:04:30] I need to make mine bigger, I think.

[01:04:32] Yeah, I think that's my problem is like it's like all squished down as

[01:04:35] right under the title.

[01:04:38] Yeah, I don't like for me.

[01:04:40] Yeah, those are blank for me too.

[01:04:41] OK, if you hover over them,

[01:04:44] it shows up like all text.

[01:04:46] No, no, it's not showing that to me.

[01:04:48] Oh, no, I think I concept is right.

[01:04:51] It's besides the numbers like flared focus, etc.

[01:04:54] Yeah, so yeah, there's if you it's under the second of the second set of spaces,

[01:05:00] not the top very top one because the very top one doesn't have any like editable.

[01:05:05] I see high constant trouble in other aspects, that's it.

[01:05:08] No, so above that, there's

[01:05:10] there's lots for like character name and then next to that,

[01:05:13] there's two things that say mantle one and mantle two.

[01:05:16] Oh, OK, those.

[01:05:17] Oh, yeah, it's not.

[01:05:19] OK, yeah.

[01:05:20] All right, so I will put that under focus practitioner.

[01:05:25] OK, cool.

[01:05:26] Well, I appreciate that.

[01:05:28] I guess that's enough for me right now if you all want to go ahead and move on

[01:05:32] to the next guy, I think David already kind of started his.

[01:05:35] So it seemed like it would be natural for him just to kind of go ahead and

[01:05:39] finalize that.

[01:05:42] Now, I need to scroll all the way back up to page nine to two.

[01:05:45] Come on, book.

[01:05:47] Also, I am hyper self-conscious about the fact that

[01:05:51] when I am around Adam, my

[01:05:55] southern Missouri accent comes out a little bit more strongly and not

[01:06:01] just want to just want to cover that.

[01:06:04] This is me being around you in the granny side comes out a little bit

[01:06:09] more, sir. This is not me.

[01:06:10] A big I never took a disaster.

[01:06:13] I am a Dementic virus.

[01:06:18] So choosing name and appearance.

[01:06:21] Now we do have a certain ladder to attach

[01:06:26] that has all of the different approaches.

[01:06:29] We use a ladder of adjectives and numbers shown here to read your character's

[01:06:33] approaches, the result of the role, such as

[01:06:36] bloody bully, blah, blah, blah.

[01:06:38] Yeah.

[01:06:40] That is basically the equivalent of skill.

[01:06:44] Yeah, you're yeah, they accelerated.

[01:06:46] They did away with

[01:06:48] I think it was all of the different skills, all the different skills.

[01:06:51] And they just went with like a set of like basically your attributes and your

[01:06:55] skills are rolled into aspects to use like D and D terms or Boston terms.

[01:07:03] So

[01:07:05] pulling up aspects.

[01:07:07] Where the hell is that?

[01:07:10] Yeah, so for example, like Flair is for like doing stuff that is

[01:07:17] like distracting or like distracting and such forceful as for like basically brute

[01:07:22] strength and power, haste is for speed and dexterity.

[01:07:27] Focus is like methodical and like investigative

[01:07:32] kind of stuff.

[01:07:34] Guile is I think for cleverness and like espionage and like stealth.

[01:07:40] And then there's intellect is like more like the knowledge kind of stuff.

[01:07:44] And they do even give like how like some examples for like how to build your character.

[01:07:49] So like if you want like a character that's kind of a brute,

[01:07:52] there's a listing of like how to

[01:07:55] how to adjust the the the pluses in my the pluses in zero like the

[01:08:00] the latter, which is it's a rating system for character creation

[01:08:06] approaches are started have a good, which is plus three,

[01:08:11] two for fair, which is plus two, two for average, which is plus one and one.

[01:08:17] That's mediocre, which is a plus zero bonus.

[01:08:23] And just for like for like when you guys are like considering that

[01:08:30] when it comes to the actual game and like with the latter,

[01:08:33] the latter setup is terrible as minus two, poor as minus one, mediocre as zero.

[01:08:39] Average is plus one, fair as plus two, good as plus three, greatest plus four,

[01:08:44] superb as plus five, fantastic as plus six, epic as plus seven.

[01:08:49] And then the last one at the very top is like legendary plus eight

[01:08:53] for like bonuses or like things for your role and such.

[01:08:57] When it tells you how you do with it, basically.

[01:09:00] Yeah, like how well you do for things.

[01:09:02] And there is also

[01:09:05] another spot where you can list for mantle.

[01:09:09] If you happen to have a if you happen to have a mantle related role.

[01:09:15] Right, because there are some that like for the wild, for example,

[01:09:19] I think I saw it with the if you're a Herald of the Earl King or something,

[01:09:24] you get a you can get an approach called wild.

[01:09:29] And similarly, I think if you're a scion of or or somebody who works

[01:09:34] for the summer court or the Faye court Queens,

[01:09:37] you get a one for like for summer or for winter.

[01:09:43] And that that plays into like your mantle.

[01:09:46] So as far as stunts are concerned,

[01:09:50] you take a look at the stunts that are provided by the mantles themselves

[01:09:54] and you get all of the basic ones that are attached.

[01:09:57] But then each mantle has a series of other stunts.

[01:10:02] You get to pick one of those to start.

[01:10:04] Yeah, so you get your core stunts to start and then you pick an additional.

[01:10:09] So you take your unique unique core and then you get one additional. Got it?

[01:10:13] Yeah.

[01:10:14] So with the the focus practitioner,

[01:10:20] there's like special core rule stuff.

[01:10:24] How do you deal with that?

[01:10:25] I've never done that.

[01:10:27] As it says, you're basically making up one one default combination of approach

[01:10:31] and action and then so on and so forth.

[01:10:34] It doesn't give you core stunts.

[01:10:36] You make them up.

[01:10:37] Yeah, that's the thing because like because you're a focus practitioner,

[01:10:39] you basically you and I have to basically we have to basically work our way

[01:10:42] into like setting up how your stunts work because you're using

[01:10:48] that you have a focused like individualistic like ability basically like magical talent.

[01:10:55] So

[01:10:56] so that's going to come into play with Adam and I both.

[01:10:59] Yeah.

[01:11:03] The Lord give us and then the Lord take it.

[01:11:08] A wonderful combination of approach

[01:11:11] action that gains the benefit of the supernatural scale, which may be done

[01:11:17] or it may do whenever you please.

[01:11:19] Yeah.

[01:11:20] So yes, because you have like three levels of manifestation for your talent,

[01:11:26] which I'm guessing actually end up becoming like basically three stunts,

[01:11:29] like three core stunts effectively for the for that character.

[01:11:33] Yeah.

[01:11:34] Yeah, because usually core stunts you usually have like three core stunts

[01:11:37] for a mantle.

[01:11:39] So I believe that the stunts section is right there underneath the quote unquote

[01:11:45] skills because I've got three core stunts for wealthy, which are big spender

[01:11:51] consumerism and taking out loans.

[01:11:53] Yeah.

[01:11:54] And then I can just basically pick up entourage, get out of jail, not free.

[01:11:58] Blue blood, that's not going to happen.

[01:12:01] I am definitely do vu reach.

[01:12:04] Yeah.

[01:12:06] But the thought that just occurs is just the

[01:12:09] but yeah, here under focus practitioner basically since so blah, blah, blah, blah.

[01:12:16] Jeremy, you understand that Mort as an

[01:12:19] ectomancer basically would be he can do a lot of things when related to ghost

[01:12:24] because of focus practitioner.

[01:12:26] So when what you do is you get to put in the unique

[01:12:29] incisions of exhausted and burned out.

[01:12:33] So you add those underneath your condition tracker down here

[01:12:37] where the stress indebted in peril doomed.

[01:12:40] And the thing is that those two conditions apply whenever you're using your

[01:12:45] magic magic talent stunt.

[01:12:47] Now, your core stunt of magical talent,

[01:12:51] you basically just put what your just magical talent and then just yeah,

[01:12:57] what is your theme?

[01:12:58] So you're going for wave man, correct?

[01:13:03] Yeah, basically.

[01:13:05] And so

[01:13:07] you put in your default combination of approach and action that gains the

[01:13:11] benefit on the supernatural scale, which you may do whenever you please.

[01:13:17] And then you have a themed stunt that you can use when you mark exhausted

[01:13:21] and a very powerful themed stunt that you use when you mark burned out.

[01:13:27] And so it's got the rules right there as to exactly what that means.

[01:13:33] And each of the different things just like here's your basic thing that you are.

[01:13:38] This is the always on always doing thing.

[01:13:41] So for instance, for Adam and his focused healer, I would suggest that

[01:13:47] his default approach is that he is always healing.

[01:13:52] Be healing.

[01:13:53] Yeah, so basically Adam always succeeds on checks for basic medicine because yeah,

[01:14:00] there's something about his touch that's always a it's always a healing touch.

[01:14:04] A themed stunt that you mark exhausted when you focus on say

[01:14:12] treating trauma.

[01:14:14] And then you've got your mark burned out when you do something that is beyond the

[01:14:19] human scale. So yeah, think of it like this.

[01:14:23] The wounds always heal when they're around you.

[01:14:26] When you say the prayer, when you actually focus, you can stop bleeding and you can

[01:14:32] basically help to recover a condition.

[01:14:35] You mark burned out when you take somebody back from the doomed.

[01:14:39] Yeah, that would definitely work for that.

[01:14:42] So it's like, yeah, you can heal somebody that should not be healed because that's

[01:14:48] beyond what people are capable of patching up in that moment.

[01:14:52] At least they're like in the short run versus the long term.

[01:14:55] Yeah, but when you do that,

[01:14:58] it's going to take you a while to be able to magic again.

[01:15:02] OK, that sounds cool.

[01:15:04] And we were putting these under what part again?

[01:15:08] So the conditions have had to the right of the stress and dead, it perduated.

[01:15:14] Yeah, so underneath those, there's a little box that says add

[01:15:18] and say you can add your two extra conditions, which are going to be exhausted

[01:15:23] and burned out. Yeah.

[01:15:25] And then you click the add box on the right and that's where you add your

[01:15:29] additional stunts. OK, awesome.

[01:15:32] And I appreciate you guys using me and Jeremy to do this since we're both

[01:15:36] kind of the same deal here.

[01:15:39] I was looking at all this other stuff and kind of trying to figure out where it goes.

[01:15:45] Yeah, well, the focus practitioner gives you the most freedom,

[01:15:49] but you have to like you're effectively making some mechanics.

[01:15:55] Yeah.

[01:15:56] So in me and Jeremy,

[01:15:57] like while everybody else continue to we can kind of compare sheets as we

[01:16:01] as we finalize this off mic.

[01:16:04] OK, definitely.

[01:16:05] Yeah, don't let us hold you up.

[01:16:06] I just figured as far as a roll up goes, that's going to be the most

[01:16:10] loosey-goosey part.

[01:16:11] So I wanted to point that out.

[01:16:12] Yeah.

[01:16:14] OK, so yeah, you guys are both being

[01:16:17] focus practitioners, Josh.

[01:16:20] So I guess you're going to be a magic

[01:16:23] magical practitioner like the wizard.

[01:16:26] Yep. Full on wizard.

[01:16:28] So similarly to the focus ones, you get the condition exhausted and burned out

[01:16:32] for your forecasting like big magic and such.

[01:16:36] But you also gain the third eye because you've got wizard sight.

[01:16:41] Mm hmm.

[01:16:42] So yes, you just add that to that underneath

[01:16:45] the doomed underneath like in the stress and stuff.

[01:16:49] And then as like, yeah, course stunts, I guess, yeah, you get evocation,

[01:16:52] thaumaturgy and a soul gaze as your your core stunts.

[01:16:59] And this is actually kind of interesting

[01:17:01] because your additional stunts you get to pick you get to pick one to start.

[01:17:05] Yeah, but it opens up to

[01:17:09] some of the others later on.

[01:17:11] So I can see that.

[01:17:12] I've got the problem.

[01:17:14] OK, good. Yeah.

[01:17:16] Well, for our listeners at home.

[01:17:17] Yeah, this is yeah.

[01:17:18] Yeah, listen to this.

[01:17:21] Don't worry, I will later.

[01:17:24] Yeah.

[01:17:26] So does it you have to be a way like council membership or like?

[01:17:30] I don't have to be white council.

[01:17:33] But if you want to be a warden, you must have a silver sword.

[01:17:37] Yeah.

[01:17:38] And to be fair, you don't have to be a member of the White Council.

[01:17:43] But

[01:17:44] you don't have to buy by the rules.

[01:17:46] I was planning on that.

[01:17:47] That's the one I'm taking. OK.

[01:17:49] To be fair,

[01:17:51] like the benefit of the backstory I immediately made after I said I didn't

[01:17:55] have anything. Yeah.

[01:17:59] You could instead go for evocation specialist, enchanted item,

[01:18:03] Loremaster, combat wizard, dualist wizard, bloody, bloody, blah, blah, blah.

[01:18:06] There's a bunch of different options down there.

[01:18:10] But here's the thing.

[01:18:11] If you do not go with white court membership,

[01:18:14] look at what Chris has

[01:18:19] available against you.

[01:18:22] If you go off the rails too far,

[01:18:25] he can throw wardens at you.

[01:18:28] Yeah.

[01:18:30] And they are not they are not

[01:18:33] they are not yielding or they are not a gray area.

[01:18:37] It is black or white.

[01:18:39] Yep. Oh, I'm aware of the books.

[01:18:43] One of my personal favorite lines is still that's a technicality.

[01:18:47] Dresden, you know it.

[01:18:50] OK, so that I guess

[01:18:54] that is basically Josh's core stents and such.

[01:19:00] David.

[01:19:01] So I am in the process of adding as we speak.

[01:19:06] And I'm laughing to myself about the fact that I'm technically taking

[01:19:12] the other side of these things, but it still works.

[01:19:14] Yeah.

[01:19:15] So

[01:19:17] because of the wealthy,

[01:19:19] I picked up big spender consumerism and taking out loans, which basically

[01:19:22] means that I can throw money at problems.

[01:19:26] Now you throw problems at money.

[01:19:29] Well, in this case, the rich is just there.

[01:19:33] But my core stunts for the lycanthrope form is

[01:19:39] take the form of the animal aspect in addition to your other aspects.

[01:19:44] Whenever I use it, I do swap the ratings of any two approaches with any other

[01:19:49] two approaches to reflect my animal form.

[01:19:51] For instance, if I'm a where Fox and my highest approaches in human form are force

[01:19:55] and intellect, I might swap my ratings and hasten guile for those two while

[01:19:58] transformed. And I'm thinking seriously about what those are going to be.

[01:20:05] So we'll get back to those in a moment.

[01:20:08] Let's see.

[01:20:09] My core stunts for the where beast are beast whisperer.

[01:20:13] You inherently understand and may communicate with any animal of the same

[01:20:16] type as your wear shape and thus may interact with them as you would humans.

[01:20:20] So I can talk to all of the big cats up to you,

[01:20:25] whether I can talk with the small cats or if I just scare them too much for them

[01:20:29] to actually say anything.

[01:20:31] But from what I know about just cats in general, even the little ones

[01:20:37] will just look at a big cat like, have you seen the video of the cougar

[01:20:41] walking up to the back porch and just staring down the house cat on the

[01:20:46] other side of the glass and the house cat just swatting the glass repeatedly,

[01:20:51] like let me add them, let me add them.

[01:20:53] Yeah.

[01:20:55] So I'm pushing for maybe get to talk to cats.

[01:20:58] I don't know.

[01:20:59] Then there's the human touch as long as the intended recipient knows you're

[01:21:03] a where creature, you may communicate simple, single word concepts,

[01:21:07] run, attack, guard, distract, etc.

[01:21:10] That casual observation will not detect.

[01:21:13] I am thinking that I kind of want to go for either

[01:21:19] shifting adept or

[01:21:22] fleeting transformation as my extra one.

[01:21:27] So I'm either really, really good at shape shifting and have learned how

[01:21:32] to keep the clothes and return on damage when I shift back,

[01:21:36] which would be fun and that just basically makes it to where we don't have

[01:21:41] to deal with the extra role of why are you naked?

[01:21:45] Why aren't you too shy?

[01:21:48] He's rich.

[01:21:49] He gets to be eccentric.

[01:21:52] He's rich.

[01:21:53] He gets to be eccentric, but I figure that the shifting adept is going to just

[01:21:59] basically just dry erase that thing from it's going to make things easier for

[01:22:05] everybody.

[01:22:05] Yeah.

[01:22:06] So I think your shifting adept is probably going to be the one I'm going to take.

[01:22:10] That's definitely that fits.

[01:22:13] All right.

[01:22:14] And then for me, I will for my character, that's probably going to end up becoming

[01:22:19] more of a support character in this game.

[01:22:23] I got that.

[01:22:24] So like I said, I have this custom forced people mantle.

[01:22:29] And so I get to tap the source.

[01:22:32] So mark one of the condition box

[01:22:36] to access my mantel's powers similar to like how like the fey and I think even

[01:22:40] hunger works for vampires recovery, recover fully at the conclusion of any scene

[01:22:48] in which you did not use the mantle stunt.

[01:22:50] If you ever fill the track and the track, I have five boxes on this condition

[01:22:56] that I can tap for this thing.

[01:22:59] If you ever fill the track, you feel the urge to return to nature and have two

[01:23:04] options.

[01:23:05] You must immediately return to nature and head for the nearest dense wilderness.

[01:23:09] You return at the start of next session with it with all your boxes cleared.

[01:23:14] You fight the urge to return to nature, but there is there are side effects as

[01:23:20] you become much larger and hairier at the GM's discretion.

[01:23:24] This sudden change catches the eyes of curious mortals and their cameras

[01:23:29] or something or someone worse.

[01:23:32] You may recover a box at the end of every session in which you avoid your stunts.

[01:23:38] And then I'm guessing once you get one cleared box, it kind of reverts back to

[01:23:43] the whole thing where you recover fully at the conclusion of a scene that you

[01:23:48] didn't use your major, your mental stunts and so is my guess on that.

[01:23:53] And core stunts, I get Thaumaturgy

[01:23:59] and then I get a faster, stronger, tougher, which is a fey thing in the powers.

[01:24:06] Like it's on page 145 in the book.

[01:24:09] And then prophetic dreams and premonitions.

[01:24:12] So once per session, you may declare that you have a vision of things to come

[01:24:17] and can gain some insight on the current situation or trouble ahead at the GM's discretion.

[01:24:24] Those are my core, my core idea, the core stunts I have.

[01:24:28] And then additional stunts,

[01:24:31] taking the edge off, which basically I can spend

[01:24:36] fate points to get two boxes of tap the source back.

[01:24:41] But I must describe how I'm placating the urge to return to nature.

[01:24:47] And then I also have Tree Walker,

[01:24:49] which I mark a box to arrive in any scene at any time provided the setting contains

[01:24:55] a group of trees from which I can emerge from.

[01:24:59] This is Kentucky, there are trees everywhere.

[01:25:01] Yeah, yeah.

[01:25:02] But I mean, like if we're inside, I can't like just like

[01:25:06] there's a cluster of ficuses in the corner.

[01:25:08] Yeah, there's a cluster of ficuses.

[01:25:10] I always keep a plant in the side corner.

[01:25:12] There's a cluster of ficuses.

[01:25:14] I'm like, hello.

[01:25:17] I also get the option for like evocation, glamour,

[01:25:21] cloak of shadows, which I think allows me to like see

[01:25:25] things that are hidden and stuff and master crafter.

[01:25:29] So those are all like ones that are in the book already like preexisting.

[01:25:32] So there's like page numbers.

[01:25:34] The glamour one might also be handy because if I because the way Adam described

[01:25:39] this character to me, Dr.

[01:25:41] Phil is a big foot who is attending Moorhead

[01:25:43] University for the sciences, but he's a virtual student for obvious reasons.

[01:25:52] And non-traditional.

[01:25:54] Yeah, non-traditional.

[01:25:55] And yeah, so like I think I might use glamour just so I can like occasionally

[01:25:58] like appear as just a really big dude.

[01:26:01] It was really awkward that first year when they make you take at bullshit

[01:26:05] university like getting used to college orientation.

[01:26:09] Orientation was really annoying.

[01:26:11] I had to avoid all the I had to avoid like all the

[01:26:15] the metal railings.

[01:26:19] The glamour just would have like popped or something.

[01:26:23] You were kidding.

[01:26:24] The characters, the first people are not Faye.

[01:26:27] They are a mortal race on Earth.

[01:26:30] They just are adept at magic.

[01:26:34] Your cake saying crushed cake.

[01:26:36] Glow, sir.

[01:26:37] Yeah.

[01:26:41] So yeah, I guess I'm going to add that stuff into.

[01:26:46] Also, Adam, because I'm also like relying on you for this character.

[01:26:49] So like he's he's working in the sciences.

[01:26:51] What what do you want Dr.

[01:26:53] Phil to like focus on in the sciences Moorhead?

[01:26:58] You know, anthropology really sounds good to me.

[01:27:03] OK, I thought you wanted to like sit like a space.

[01:27:05] I was thinking about space.

[01:27:06] I mean, none I'm open for anthropology or space.

[01:27:10] I do like space big foot or time travel.

[01:27:12] So maybe I theoretical physics or something.

[01:27:15] Oh, that would be funny.

[01:27:18] He's learning physics, theoretical physics.

[01:27:20] OK, that'll be like, I guess my high concept or one of my aspects will be

[01:27:25] like theoretical physics major.

[01:27:29] Or maybe I don't know because like,

[01:27:30] I guess we'll get into high concepts in a minute.

[01:27:32] But so here's the other thing to think about.

[01:27:36] We all start with a refresh of three.

[01:27:39] If you would like to take additional stunts attached to your mantles,

[01:27:44] or if you've got other ones that you really think are going to be good for

[01:27:49] your character that you want to just create or just go from the stunt list,

[01:27:55] you can do that, but it costs one refresh per stunt.

[01:27:59] Yeah.

[01:28:00] So I'm having a hard time with my exhausted stunt.

[01:28:04] OK, I can't figure out.

[01:28:06] I can't figure out my middle ground like I've got my first one.

[01:28:10] Like manipulator of wave motion and it talked about basically tagging something.

[01:28:14] So I use guy all when manipulating energy because he's more of a sneak thief.

[01:28:20] I'm up in well, I'm going to note in this thing real quick.

[01:28:25] It sounds like it's maybe a part where we need to do some bookkeeping.

[01:28:28] So yeah.

[01:28:29] So I'm going to put in break.

[01:28:31] I'm also going to go get a jar of banana peppers peppers.

[01:28:34] Because that's what I'm covering right now.

[01:28:36] I'll be right back. All right.

[01:28:37] Let's break it.

[01:28:55] So we we return with now that we've like sat down and actually looked at our

[01:29:01] mantles and figured out what what our core stunts and such are.

[01:29:04] So Adam, do you want to go ahead and lay down your your stunts and such

[01:29:10] or Oh, OK.

[01:29:12] Yeah, if I can find it on my screen, I've got way too much.

[01:29:17] Here we go.

[01:29:17] So David mentioned this beforehand and I'll just I'm glad we had an opportunity

[01:29:22] to talk about this here.

[01:29:24] So I am always hearing so minor stuff.

[01:29:28] I'm kind of putting it over the core magical talent.

[01:29:31] There is a quicker one which he came up with the name

[01:29:35] wound singer, which I really liked it, which is an accelerated,

[01:29:39] you know, you can kind of watch it go.

[01:29:44] You know, the wound close before your eyes and then finally there's the burned out

[01:29:48] one that I got or what it does to my character anyway.

[01:29:52] And it would be it's like revive.

[01:29:55] It will clear an emperor doomed.

[01:29:57] And he was we were working title was revived file.

[01:30:00] But I really like I'm calling it Lazarus in my head.

[01:30:06] So I've got my Lazarus ability.

[01:30:09] So we're but it's it's it boy, I'm tuckered out or to quote my grandfather.

[01:30:16] I'm war to frazzle, which is I can explain that to you all if you need me to.

[01:30:21] But yeah.

[01:30:22] All right.

[01:30:24] Is that it?

[01:30:25] Yeah, I mean, I think it's about only have the three right now.

[01:30:29] Yeah.

[01:30:30] All right.

[01:30:32] And I guess I'll go since I'm since I have a character, technically.

[01:30:38] I so Phil, Dr. Phil is of the forced people mantle, which is a custom one.

[01:30:44] I will probably send Adam the PDF of the custom mantle that I have here.

[01:30:50] OK.

[01:30:50] So for like for because there's some things on it that are

[01:30:53] that there are some of his stunts that are from that directly.

[01:30:58] And there's some that are from the book directly.

[01:31:00] So condition wise, they get tapped the source, which is a custom thing that

[01:31:06] basically I tap that I tap up, I cross across off a box on this condition.

[01:31:13] And I can use one of my stunts.

[01:31:15] But if I fill up all my condition boxes, I either have to return to nature

[01:31:21] and leave the session or like have the character basically like return next

[01:31:25] next session fully, fully cleared or I like refuse the urge to go back to nature.

[01:31:34] And I become more hairy and larger and basically draw attention to myself from

[01:31:40] either pesky mortals or worse.

[01:31:44] And that goes away.

[01:31:46] I get one box cleared every at the end of every session afterward.

[01:31:51] So until it's like emptied.

[01:31:54] But as part of my stunts for this class, I get Thaumaturgy, which is on page

[01:31:58] 140 on 140, faster, stronger, tougher, which is on page 145,

[01:32:06] prophetic dreams and premonitions, which is a custom thing for this mantle.

[01:32:11] And it basically once per session, I can

[01:32:15] get some get some information about the about the coming trouble that is

[01:32:20] happening in the in the adventure in the scenario at the GM's discretion.

[01:32:24] And then I took Tree Walker.

[01:32:26] So Tree Walker is Markabox and arrive in any scene at any time,

[01:32:33] provided the setting contains a group of trees from which I may emerge from.

[01:32:40] So if there's a ficus in a in a building that the scene is in,

[01:32:47] I can technically appear from behind that.

[01:32:50] I love it.

[01:32:51] Or I have a real quick question for you.

[01:32:55] So do I need to add all the additional stunts into my character as well?

[01:32:59] No, you only you only select one additional stunt.

[01:33:02] OK, yeah, you select one to start with.

[01:33:06] And then if you want more of them, you have to take away from your total refresh.

[01:33:10] Yeah, so I'm actually taking a second one.

[01:33:13] So my total refresh is going to go down from three to two.

[01:33:16] OK, where did the refreshes go in this?

[01:33:20] OK, so on the sheet,

[01:33:22] bottom left, you've got your stress boxes.

[01:33:25] And then underneath there, you've got the four boxes across the.

[01:33:29] OK.

[01:33:30] Yeah, box number four, the one that is furthest to the right,

[01:33:33] is where you put your total refresh and then it will put your

[01:33:38] current refresh into box two.

[01:33:40] Box one is where you keep track of your fake points.

[01:33:43] OK, that's really interesting because again, like for some reason,

[01:33:45] I maybe it's just like the way my computer is or something.

[01:33:48] It's not showing me what those are.

[01:33:50] It's just like unless I scroll over it, then it says fake points and refriend stuff.

[01:33:53] Yeah, it's not doing that for me.

[01:33:55] I'm just trusting David on this.

[01:33:57] OK, cool.

[01:33:59] But yeah, OK, so there we go.

[01:34:00] Yeah. And yeah, the the first three I had were my core stunts.

[01:34:06] And then I took Tree Walker as my my additional stunt.

[01:34:10] So cool.

[01:34:11] Well, I'll figure out my other two.

[01:34:13] I don't want to hold my other one.

[01:34:15] I don't want to hold that up here, but that's cool.

[01:34:18] Neglected that.

[01:34:19] I am leaning fairly heavily into the Weir Creature to be fair.

[01:34:25] I do want to go.

[01:34:26] Like we'll go out of turn, whatever.

[01:34:29] But if you want to do yours next.

[01:34:31] Oh, if and y'all don't mind.

[01:34:33] Before before I don't know if I'm even doing this right.

[01:34:37] So go for it.

[01:34:38] So because I've got two mantles

[01:34:42] because Weir Creature requires me to take a basic human mantle as well.

[01:34:48] So I went for wealthy.

[01:34:50] So I basically get a track for money

[01:34:54] nice underneath my damage counters and it's a sticky track, which means I can use it

[01:34:59] immediately and I get the stunts, big spender consumerism and taking out loans

[01:35:05] just as a basic of having money.

[01:35:07] So basically that's ways that I can just use money directly

[01:35:13] in a situation because I'm a one percenter.

[01:35:16] Yeah.

[01:35:17] And then I also get for being a Weir Beast,

[01:35:22] Beast Whisperer, the human touch

[01:35:25] to start off with and I get

[01:35:29] one free stunt out of any of the tracks that I want.

[01:35:33] So I went with shifting adept so that when I do shift

[01:35:37] to Panther form from human,

[01:35:41] I don't have to worry about that whole, hey, what happened to all of the clothes?

[01:35:45] Well, shit burst right out of them.

[01:35:48] So I've learned how to shift with my possessions as well.

[01:35:52] So those just go to a space in the

[01:35:54] never, never when I'm not actively wearing pants.

[01:35:58] Yeah.

[01:36:00] I decided that because it is our transformation takes longer.

[01:36:08] I wanted to go for the speedy transformation.

[01:36:11] So that is a fleeting transformation.

[01:36:14] It takes it from being a

[01:36:17] well, basically it takes it down to sticky so I can just

[01:36:21] shift forms almost as a reflex.

[01:36:24] Nice. And it may.

[01:36:26] I'm picking those two specifically to make things easier during game play.

[01:36:31] If this makes any sense.

[01:36:33] This way we don't have to worry about, well, how long is the transformation

[01:36:36] sequence actually going to take?

[01:36:39] Do we have to sit around and wait for him to actually change

[01:36:42] versus snap my fingers in Panther or snap my fingers in human?

[01:36:48] And not having to worry about is he currently wearing pants is a thing.

[01:36:54] Yeah.

[01:36:56] And in other news, the Moorhead,

[01:36:58] the Moorhead's Krieger has struck again.

[01:37:01] Well, I'm sorry, but you I have to now tell you

[01:37:04] the story.

[01:37:05] I worked at the Moorhead Walmart

[01:37:09] in college for a brief six months.

[01:37:12] And I can remember it was Christmas.

[01:37:15] It was near Christmas time and that was right.

[01:37:17] I mean, there was snow like where they cleaned the drive with the parking lot.

[01:37:21] The big piles of snow.

[01:37:22] I mean, it was cold.

[01:37:23] It wasn't melting and stuff like that.

[01:37:25] And this guy got caught shoplifting early on Sunday morning.

[01:37:28] And he proceeded to say, I got a damn thing.

[01:37:31] And then he stripped down to nothing,

[01:37:35] put his boots back on and walked out the door.

[01:37:39] They later arrested him.

[01:37:40] The snowmiles were in his clothes, but that was one attempt.

[01:37:43] Wow.

[01:37:46] There is a precedent, says all I'm saying.

[01:37:49] And so the Moorhead's Krieger strikes again.

[01:37:52] Here he comes.

[01:37:53] Look at it.

[01:37:55] Yeah.

[01:37:56] Feel like the Moorhead's Krieger needs to be in the game now.

[01:38:00] Sorry, sorry.

[01:38:01] I'm sorry, David.

[01:38:02] You're building a world.

[01:38:05] It works.

[01:38:06] I mean, it really works.

[01:38:07] Yeah.

[01:38:09] But yeah, I'm taking aspects to prevent being the Moorhead's Krieger.

[01:38:13] That's a different guy.

[01:38:15] Yeah.

[01:38:16] Oh God, I just realized he's one of the he's from the the the wild party.

[01:38:24] It's just a thing who just like

[01:38:26] he just likes like throwing people off.

[01:38:30] It's like a fey on Rumspringer.

[01:38:32] Yeah.

[01:38:34] I feel like there's one or one of two things that's going on with that guy.

[01:38:38] It's either that or he's somebody else who is also afflicted with the

[01:38:42] lycanthropy and it's like, Jimmy, we talked about this.

[01:38:45] I know.

[01:38:46] Emergency pants.

[01:38:48] Where do you keep your emergency pants?

[01:38:50] In the never, never.

[01:38:53] And why are you not wearing them?

[01:38:55] Because they're in the never, never.

[01:39:01] I like that response because they're in the never, never.

[01:39:05] OK, it's like I put them in there,

[01:39:07] but then I forgot how to get back to the never, never.

[01:39:09] Jimmy, every single time for the love of God, show me one more time.

[01:39:16] I'm going to write.

[01:39:16] All right, I'm at it.

[01:39:18] Jimmy, the Jimmy, the like the where of the where person is going to be

[01:39:22] the Moorhead's Krieger in the Moorhead's Krieger.

[01:39:25] Jimmy, the Moorhead's Krieger slash werewolf.

[01:39:28] What's that?

[01:39:29] I don't know.

[01:39:30] Look, the Moorhead's Adam for you.

[01:39:33] Jimmy, the Streaker or also known as Jimmy, the where possum.

[01:39:37] Oh.

[01:39:41] He's so fast.

[01:39:43] He is.

[01:39:44] He's here.

[01:39:44] So now over.

[01:39:46] Play dad.

[01:39:48] Scary. He'll fall down.

[01:39:49] Fine. We'll get it.

[01:39:52] I don't get him.

[01:39:53] I heard.

[01:39:54] That's so awesome.

[01:39:56] Sorry to interrupt you guys with tales of nudity and Walmart.

[01:39:59] No, it works.

[01:40:00] It's it's kind of like we got out of it.

[01:40:03] Yeah, we got Jimmy.

[01:40:07] All right, I think Josh or Jeremy,

[01:40:09] which one of our Jays want to go?

[01:40:11] Yeah, I don't know.

[01:40:13] Yeah, I'm not the only J anymore.

[01:40:14] This is weird.

[01:40:15] All right, Jeremy, you're up.

[01:40:18] OK, I went for my mantle.

[01:40:21] I went for focus practitioner with a specialization on

[01:40:25] Wave Motion, say, light wave sound waves and the like

[01:40:30] for the stunts.

[01:40:31] The stunts were interesting for the fact that we,

[01:40:35] both Adam and I were able to kind of create our own stunts and be real

[01:40:40] loosey goosey with it, which was pretty cool.

[01:40:44] For my main stunt, I picked a manipulator of Wave Motion,

[01:40:48] which allows me to use guile when doing any type of energy manipulation

[01:40:53] based on waves.

[01:40:55] For my exhausted, I put white noise generator,

[01:40:59] which allows me to overload a scene that makes me basically be able to remove

[01:41:03] my own self from the scene to everybody in the scene.

[01:41:07] And for my burnout, I took total sensory deprivation,

[01:41:10] which basically he wipes out all waves in the in the area.

[01:41:14] So light based sound waves.

[01:41:18] Basically just makes it a big separate sensory deprivation tank for everyone in the area.

[01:41:24] Yeah, well, within a plot relevant amount of area.

[01:41:28] Yeah.

[01:41:30] But that I just like imagine as like just like, oh, that would suck so hard.

[01:41:36] It's really just like all your cave.

[01:41:38] Well, it's it's it's basically the Dresden version of No Evil.

[01:41:42] Yeah.

[01:41:44] And then for my last stunt, I took

[01:41:49] ritualist because I had had it in mind to where he's kind of the the keeper of the

[01:41:54] veils and the magical Q type person where he's making.

[01:41:58] He's doing rituals on objects to make them magical or areas to make them veiled.

[01:42:03] That gives me plus two prep roll and reduced number of

[01:42:06] a recent number of costs by one on any ritual that I take that I do.

[01:42:12] Is it wrong that my alternative thought for the Sasquatch?

[01:42:17] Because he said the upside is that he wears the magical hat of disguise.

[01:42:21] Yeah.

[01:42:22] But the downside is Fedora,

[01:42:24] but my other thought was like, well, just put on these glasses and nobody will ever know.

[01:42:29] Yeah.

[01:42:30] The Clark.

[01:42:31] All those Superman glasses.

[01:42:32] Clark Kent glasses.

[01:42:33] Yeah.

[01:42:35] Yeah, that also works.

[01:42:37] Either or really we can figure that out in the scene.

[01:42:41] Like that's probably that would probably be our character scene, like intro scene.

[01:42:45] So all right.

[01:42:46] And Josh.

[01:42:49] Assuming I did this right.

[01:42:52] Magical practitioner and anyone who knows me means I'm a pyromancer.

[01:42:58] Of prize like nobody.

[01:43:00] The exhausted burned out.

[01:43:02] Yeah, yeah.

[01:43:02] Yeah.

[01:43:03] Got the same as the.

[01:43:04] Yeah.

[01:43:04] Yeah.

[01:43:06] Third eye.

[01:43:07] I can open my third eye.

[01:43:09] Soul gaze.

[01:43:11] If I stare at your eyes too long, well,

[01:43:13] we both get the fucking God.

[01:43:17] You get to know each other a little too well.

[01:43:20] Yep.

[01:43:20] There you go.

[01:43:22] Evoke evocation and thumb aturgy.

[01:43:25] And I spelled that wrong in my thing.

[01:43:27] I just fixed and White Council membership is the other one I talk.

[01:43:33] OK, so you're in good standing with the White Council.

[01:43:36] Yes.

[01:43:37] Well, it kind of makes sense with the backstair in thinking of right now.

[01:43:42] OK, cool.

[01:43:45] And is that all you got for the stunts and such?

[01:43:47] Well, I did.

[01:43:48] Yeah, I'm just I'm just a little bit.

[01:43:52] Where's the corpus my one additional?

[01:43:53] I don't have to offer me fair.

[01:43:56] All right, then I guess we'll move on to now that we've gotten the mantles out

[01:44:01] of the way, I guess we'll move on to the the high concepts, the troubles and any

[01:44:05] extra acts aspects of the characters.

[01:44:08] So, Adam, what's what what do you got for for Blacks Blackburn?

[01:44:15] Oh, Blackburn.

[01:44:16] Oh, buddy, buddy, buddy, do I got trouble?

[01:44:18] Well, I've had choices today.

[01:44:23] I was born sorry, David and maybe Jeremy got the short films reference.

[01:44:27] But

[01:44:28] honestly, I think I'm a person of that high healing caliber is probably sought

[01:44:33] after and that's a problem.

[01:44:36] To know, you know, so,

[01:44:39] you know, you lose free will, so to speak, so maybe even

[01:44:44] important people have noticed me.

[01:44:46] OK, so you potential like the White Council could be one of them.

[01:44:50] Like, oh, you have magical headhunters or like or

[01:44:56] what's like when they're trying to like yeah, headhunters.

[01:45:00] Yeah.

[01:45:01] So there's headhunters who want your head and then there's corporate

[01:45:06] headhunters who is like, I want this person to work for me.

[01:45:09] Yeah, we want you.

[01:45:10] We want you.

[01:45:11] We want you as a new recruit.

[01:45:13] Oh, yeah.

[01:45:14] The Troubles Term could be headhunters on all sides.

[01:45:19] OK, the Rockman, the Kentucky headhunters.

[01:45:23] Because like maybe did something that pissed off the White Council

[01:45:27] and so you're on like a short leash maybe or I don't know.

[01:45:30] Because like that's usually what the because the Wardens are headhunters,

[01:45:34] literally like they that's why they had the sword.

[01:45:37] I kind of feel like the White Council.

[01:45:41] It's one of those things where like, look,

[01:45:43] you're not a member of the council because you're not a full on wizard.

[01:45:47] But they also don't like you very much

[01:45:50] because of the fact that you are blatantly healing

[01:45:54] anybody who comes in.

[01:45:56] Like, yeah.

[01:45:57] Somebody who comes to you requiring healing, you're going to go, look,

[01:46:01] I swore an oath, I have to patch up everybody who comes through here.

[01:46:05] That means everybody.

[01:46:07] And so they dislike you because of the fact that you stuck to that particular gun.

[01:46:13] You know what the fighting is too?

[01:46:14] I'm just debating spending one of my refreshes for Warden.

[01:46:18] So you could well, you could be the prohibition that basically the on site

[01:46:22] like Warden just make sure he doesn't like like you're basically waiting

[01:46:24] for him to fuck up.

[01:46:26] Basically on you.

[01:46:28] If he does fuck up, you call in the real wardens.

[01:46:31] But in the meantime, you're watching.

[01:46:34] Yeah, I'm a sword.

[01:46:35] Yeah, real warden. Fuck you.

[01:46:38] Anticipating.

[01:46:41] It's like, congrats, Josh.

[01:46:42] You're now Randall from recess.

[01:46:46] Fuck, I know.

[01:46:48] Also, you know, of course.

[01:46:51] OK.

[01:46:52] I was like it was in like grade eight when I started watching it.

[01:46:56] But yeah, that's about the difference between us.

[01:47:00] Yeah. Yeah.

[01:47:01] So yeah, I mean, that works out pretty good.

[01:47:04] So I mean, the White Council with them being I don't particularly see them as

[01:47:08] being as pure as they like to pretend and all that.

[01:47:13] I mean, it's kind of like politically left wing, right wing, same damn bird.

[01:47:18] I didn't vote for the high.

[01:47:19] I didn't vote for the Merlin.

[01:47:23] Not my Merlin.

[01:47:24] That is actually the Merlin, I think is like the high is like the leadership of

[01:47:28] the White Council, like it's a title.

[01:47:31] It is.

[01:47:33] Arthur.

[01:47:35] Damn it.

[01:47:35] Lancaster or something like that.

[01:47:37] I just saw it yesterday.

[01:47:38] Yeah, I just saw it.

[01:47:40] Something like that.

[01:47:40] It's a proper British name.

[01:47:42] Yeah.

[01:47:43] Langtree, maybe?

[01:47:44] I think it's honestly something more like Lancaster, like land, something I

[01:47:49] believe.

[01:47:50] The one thing that I do remember is Dresden just basically saying, look,

[01:47:54] you don't get to be the Merlin by collecting bottle caps.

[01:47:58] Yeah.

[01:47:59] Yeah.

[01:47:59] I'm mentioning the fact that there is a time that we see him throw down.

[01:48:03] Yep. Yeah.

[01:48:04] Arthur Langtree.

[01:48:05] Langtree, there it is.

[01:48:07] I have land right, like I said.

[01:48:09] But I could remember.

[01:48:10] Do I need to offer up any other aspects?

[01:48:13] So other aspects are just so that you get one other aspect that you can

[01:48:18] do for like that just kind of like helps build your character.

[01:48:20] But it's if you can't think of something during character creation,

[01:48:23] you can wait till you play the game and figure out that out like in play kind of thing.

[01:48:29] Yeah, just like I'm repeating myself over and over almost.

[01:48:32] It's like, I mean, dude, it's just he just, you know,

[01:48:36] he's just a simple country boy who wants to do some good, but doesn't want to

[01:48:41] get caught up in all that stuff.

[01:48:43] He's also a good old boy.

[01:48:45] Never been.

[01:48:46] I was also good.

[01:48:47] I'm just a simple country chicken.

[01:48:49] He's actually a weird chicken.

[01:48:51] I'm just a simple country hyper healer.

[01:48:55] Yeah.

[01:48:56] OK, I mean,

[01:49:00] I have nothing more than I'll leave.

[01:49:03] I'll leave those blank and we'll film out and play.

[01:49:06] OK.

[01:49:08] So Dr. Phil,

[01:49:11] his high concept every time is big.

[01:49:15] You'll like this.

[01:49:16] His high concept is Bigfoot on campus.

[01:49:20] As he is attended, he is a he's a skunk ape,

[01:49:25] a skunk ape college student

[01:49:30] at Morehead University or I guess university student.

[01:49:34] His trouble is rowdy relatives.

[01:49:37] So

[01:49:38] after he moved up from from Florida to Morehead,

[01:49:43] he's got some relatives that have

[01:49:45] that are a little rambunctious, i.e. the skunk ape speed demons

[01:49:50] who are have decided to come up north as well and hang out with his with their

[01:49:55] cousin and they are a rowdy bunch and probably stirring up trouble between

[01:50:01] like supernatural and mortal elements.

[01:50:03] So that he has to contend with relatives with his with his ruckus relatives.

[01:50:10] And then I gave him one other aspect,

[01:50:12] like another aspect, which is he is a theoretical physics major.

[01:50:17] So advanced sciences or that

[01:50:22] when it comes down to it.

[01:50:23] So yeah, that's that's paddling high in Lake or or Dr. Phil.

[01:50:30] Next up is Jeremy.

[01:50:33] My guy, his name is Lester Les Gibson.

[01:50:36] He

[01:50:39] his high concept is a wave writing thief turned musician.

[01:50:43] He was a once he realized that he could manipulate sound waves and light waves.

[01:50:47] He turned into a kind of a little life of crime because he realized he could

[01:50:51] make it to where no one could see him.

[01:50:53] And he could also manipulate cameras and stuff like that.

[01:50:58] After that, he realized that he just he needed to get out of life because

[01:51:03] things were starting to he was starting to become noticed and getting a little bit

[01:51:08] of a reputation. So he turned to where he could see and manipulate the waves for

[01:51:12] music and turned it into a musician.

[01:51:15] Now he he's basically a gig musician and he can play anything because he can

[01:51:21] actually see how the notes form.

[01:51:25] His trouble is former underworld coyote.

[01:51:28] He used to shuttle

[01:51:31] basically anybody that didn't want to be seen by either the White Council or any

[01:51:36] type of mundane type of police around because he could either make them look

[01:51:42] like someone else or just make them vanish entirely.

[01:51:45] Yeah, Jesus.

[01:51:47] You'd be that would you be incredibly good at that?

[01:51:52] His other aspects, he has Keeper of the Vales because in my mind,

[01:51:56] he sets up the Vales for different meeting spots or

[01:52:01] kind of the the vets clinic, he could make it

[01:52:05] invisible to anybody that's not supernatural or need to be hurt or anything like that.

[01:52:11] His other concept is his other aspect is magical Q maker of things.

[01:52:16] As he takes this magic and it and views it into different mundane objects.

[01:52:22] Say the vet needs to be able to look at do an X ray on a magical creature.

[01:52:28] So he does a ritual to make a permanent object or a monocle

[01:52:32] that's like an X ray now instead of it not because you never know how magic is

[01:52:37] going to work around different magical beings.

[01:52:39] So you don't want to pull in an X ray machine.

[01:52:41] Yeah, that's true.

[01:52:42] Yeah, because magic does have an anti technology field sometimes.

[01:52:47] And then my third aspect.

[01:52:49] One to the right.

[01:52:50] Yeah, yeah.

[01:52:52] And then my third aspect to be determined in gameplay.

[01:52:55] Yeah. OK.

[01:52:58] Josh.

[01:52:59] All right. So I guess the high concept right now is

[01:53:02] Pyraments rewarding.

[01:53:04] Go fake your game.

[01:53:05] All right. Burn and 18.

[01:53:07] Burn and made everything. Yes.

[01:53:09] So you're it's like it's like burn burn the whole city to the ground

[01:53:13] to kill one wizard.

[01:53:15] I mean sometimes you got to kill it with fire.

[01:53:18] Yeah, exactly. That's my motto in life.

[01:53:22] OK. But my trouble if Chris if Chris OK, is it?

[01:53:27] Does everyone remember who Corpse Taker is except you, Adam?

[01:53:30] And what they do?

[01:53:32] Taker, isn't that the ghoul?

[01:53:35] It's a ghoul like creature.

[01:53:37] Yes, do you remember what specifically you can do?

[01:53:40] So I don't.

[01:53:44] Deadbeat.

[01:53:45] I do believe that's the one that is known for swapping bodies.

[01:53:50] Yep. Oh.

[01:53:52] Yep. Really?

[01:53:56] OK, so I've been Freaky Friday.

[01:54:00] Oh, nice.

[01:54:03] I like that.

[01:54:05] Yeah, we can make it Corpse Taker or someone who can still also use that ability.

[01:54:09] Yeah. No, I do like that.

[01:54:12] You've been Freaky Friday.

[01:54:14] So your body, your current body is not your original body.

[01:54:17] Yep. And to put it in eclipse phase terms, I've been cross-leaved.

[01:54:22] So I went from a male to a female.

[01:54:24] OK. What do I do with these things?

[01:54:28] Exactly. Interesting.

[01:54:30] All right. Walk like a man.

[01:54:33] What's your character's name?

[01:54:35] Have you come up with one yet or?

[01:54:37] For the four.

[01:54:38] Well, now that they've been body swapped, Elizabeth.

[01:54:41] OK.

[01:54:42] Well, because before it's like, oh, Alice works for a male version of that.

[01:54:47] Yeah. So I listen to Elizabeth and I kept the last name the same.

[01:54:52] So I kept that as Skarsgard because I'm still secretly Swedish apparently.

[01:54:56] That's my secret.

[01:54:57] I'm always being.

[01:55:00] Which is funny because the character is actually Norwegian.

[01:55:02] Got you.

[01:55:04] I'm sorry.

[01:55:06] Is your body dead?

[01:55:08] Is it gone?

[01:55:09] I actually know what I have an idea for for what happened if unless unless Josh does.

[01:55:15] No, I've got nothing like it could literally just be corpus.

[01:55:18] It's ditched somewhere along the line or another one still out there, whatever.

[01:55:24] It won't be corpus.

[01:55:25] So it won't necessarily be a quarter bigger from like specifically corpus.

[01:55:29] Staker, but it will be a somebody similar to corpus.

[01:55:32] Staker and I have an idea to hide into something that I want to run throw

[01:55:36] into this game at some point. So perfectly fine.

[01:55:38] All right.

[01:55:40] Go for shadowing.

[01:55:41] I like that. Yeah.

[01:55:42] Well, the reason I'm also Norwegian is because one

[01:55:45] like I was when I was thinking about my Monday making it Monday,

[01:55:49] it's like I can be an iron yard.

[01:55:51] I think yeah, that's true.

[01:55:53] They're just they're not super power of the gifted.

[01:55:55] They're just undead, technically undead warriors from Valhalla.

[01:56:00] They still die, but they're normies.

[01:56:04] Right.

[01:56:04] I thought it's all doctors like oh, so much I want.

[01:56:08] Yeah.

[01:56:10] OK.

[01:56:12] I guess that's me then.

[01:56:14] Yeah.

[01:56:15] So one of my conceits,

[01:56:18] but let's be fair, I I tend to approach these things and play with them a little

[01:56:25] bit. All of my high concept, everything is going to be song based.

[01:56:33] So my high concept is Panthers, because I'm a Panther who is a were human.

[01:56:39] My trouble is walk like a man

[01:56:42] because there's going to be a bunch of times when because I began life as a Panther,

[01:56:46] there are human things that I don't quite get yet.

[01:56:51] One of the big ones that I'm definitely leaning towards is that I

[01:56:56] don't know how much I contact is too much

[01:57:00] and I tend to stare people down without realizing that I am staring people down.

[01:57:06] But also things like this is a keypad on this doorknob.

[01:57:09] Why is door not opening?

[01:57:11] I'm doing the thing to make door open.

[01:57:13] Why does it not work?

[01:57:14] You've got to punch the numbers in.

[01:57:16] Why does door not work?

[01:57:17] Not work.

[01:57:18] Damn, you.

[01:57:19] Why does door not door?

[01:57:25] Yeah.

[01:57:27] It angers and confuses us.

[01:57:30] I do have to take one of my aspects to be the form of the creature.

[01:57:36] So for form of the Panther, I took hungry eyes.

[01:57:41] I don't have to take one that ties into my other

[01:57:46] mantle of one percenter, but I thought that I would.

[01:57:50] So that's money, money, money, ain't it funny?

[01:57:54] You know, rich man's world.

[01:57:57] Because let's be fair in certain parts, especially in rural South,

[01:58:03] there are times when if there is that one person who does have the inordinate

[01:58:08] amount of money, that person is a force in the community, whether they want to be or not.

[01:58:14] And so that is an aspect that is going to come into play and it's going to be

[01:58:19] something that gets tagged a lot both by me going, hey, I'm going to weaponize

[01:58:23] this money and also my Chris weaponizing the money against me.

[01:58:27] I want to give you just a solid

[01:58:30] handle for why does this involve me in any way?

[01:58:33] Well, the church fuck or well, the school has decided that they're going to ask you

[01:58:39] for damn it because you got to help these kids.

[01:58:43] You got to help the kids for the kids.

[01:58:46] Pretty kids.

[01:58:47] But I also feel like

[01:58:51] there is a certain bit of but don't you care about your reputation at the town?

[01:58:56] No, I don't.

[01:58:57] I know I have a bad reputation because of the fact that

[01:59:01] well, I'm always a little bit strange.

[01:59:05] I'm always a little bit weird, but I literally do not give a shit about what

[01:59:10] people think until I have to.

[01:59:12] So I don't give a damn about my bad reputation as my third aspect.

[01:59:17] You have that panther cut that big cat confidence.

[01:59:22] Yes.

[01:59:23] And I would like to mention that because where creature is a thing,

[01:59:28] I have to pick two of my approaches that shift when I shift.

[01:59:33] So the two that shift are into force and flair to haste.

[01:59:40] So as a human, I have an end of three and a flair of two.

[01:59:45] But I've also got a force of zero and a

[01:59:50] and a haste of one.

[01:59:52] So those switch when I go cat.

[01:59:55] OK.

[01:59:58] I think that's basically it then for

[02:00:01] character creation, because I mean, there are the approaches.

[02:00:03] But I mean, they just like yours is a special situation because you have

[02:00:08] to swap certain approaches.

[02:00:09] But like, do we really need to say what our approaches are or?

[02:00:14] No, I think so.

[02:00:16] Yeah, because they either.

[02:00:17] Yeah.

[02:00:18] But yeah, we've gone in or we'll go in and like basically set them up

[02:00:24] appropriately for our character.

[02:00:26] What are the approaches?

[02:00:27] Like that is about to have the same thing.

[02:00:30] OK, so well, so you so for approaches.

[02:00:34] You get one at plus three, two at plus two, two at plus one and one at zero.

[02:00:41] Basically like saying like how good you are at something versus

[02:00:44] like and like all the way down to like how like mediocre you are at something.

[02:00:47] And it's like flair, focus, force,

[02:00:50] guile and hasten, intelligent and intellect.

[02:00:53] And that's basically like how you

[02:00:55] like that's what you're basically rolling.

[02:00:58] You're rolling it with your aspect when you're trying to like overcome

[02:01:01] something or do something in this in this game.

[02:01:05] Can you do me a favor and throw that in the discord?

[02:01:09] Because the numbers I'm not going to remember otherwise.

[02:01:11] Oh yeah, sure. Yeah.

[02:01:12] Oh, we're going to handhold each other through this game here.

[02:01:15] This first couple says it's like we did boss.

[02:01:17] Yeah, yeah, we're learning.

[02:01:19] We're learning is the motto of our of One Let's Die and this campaign in RPX.

[02:01:23] And I love the fact that, you know,

[02:01:27] the gaming groups that we participate in and all that is usually new systems

[02:01:31] all the time were not and not knocking people who,

[02:01:35] you know, just want to play Pathfinder and nothing but Pathfinder or Delta

[02:01:39] Green or anything like that.

[02:01:40] They're all great games that just,

[02:01:43] I don't know, I just really like the diversity of the things that we can kind

[02:01:47] of bounce between and yeah, this is going to be fun.

[02:01:53] Yeah, I've got a lot to work with now.

[02:01:55] I had some ideas that I wanted to like throw for you guys for

[02:01:59] this first like this this campaign, this like this test run in Moorhead.

[02:02:03] But I now have even more fodder

[02:02:07] and more things I can tie into the stuff that I want to throw at you guys.

[02:02:11] So yeah, well, yeah.

[02:02:14] So for for everybody tuning in, thank you so much.

[02:02:19] Chris Creson review cult of some man of many names.

[02:02:21] Thank you so much for, you know, taking us through this.

[02:02:26] David, you were an invaluable reference as well.

[02:02:28] Yes.

[02:02:30] I've fated before a number of times.

[02:02:32] I know the system a little bit.

[02:02:36] And I'm glad that we have somebody because that's

[02:02:38] that's also one of the things I want.

[02:02:40] I wanted out of this is I want to learn the fate system because I have so many.

[02:02:45] I have a bunch of fate books and

[02:02:47] we've had trouble in the past me and my my meat space group

[02:02:51] like for one like one less die, like trying to like figure out how to play

[02:02:54] or run this system and I don't want to just give up on it.

[02:02:59] Well, hold on to that tangible book you have.

[02:03:02] Apparently it's gold right now.

[02:03:03] I looked online.

[02:03:04] I know it's like it's had a print and I was like,

[02:03:07] eBay, I saw a copy for a hundred dollars.

[02:03:09] Like, Jesus, I know I was yeah, I was also looking at the.

[02:03:14] Yeah, I didn't realize that the fate accelerated one was also like that was

[02:03:18] the newer one and it's already out of print.

[02:03:21] So yeah.

[02:03:22] So I guess

[02:03:25] also Josh, thanks for joining me.

[02:03:27] That is an officer, but Josh, thanks for joining us over on RPX.

[02:03:31] Hey, thank you for having me.

[02:03:33] Where can we find you guys at Chris, Josh?

[02:03:36] Well, you could find me with Chris.

[02:03:38] Yeah. And when we're not playing this Dresden game on RPX,

[02:03:43] we also have our own actual play podcast called When Let's Die

[02:03:48] where I run a number of different systems from Shadow Run, fourth edition to D

[02:03:54] 20, Cthulhu and Pathfinder and fifth edition.

[02:03:59] There's also Monster of the Week.

[02:04:01] And even some some other Power by the Apocalypse games and just a smattering

[02:04:08] of different games that I've managed to wrangle my D20 players into playing

[02:04:12] other non D20 games.

[02:04:14] So so awesome.

[02:04:18] And David, you are quite prolific as well, aren't you, sir?

[02:04:22] Oh, yes, I'm a member of RPPR,

[02:04:26] which is where I got my start.

[02:04:28] And I've just kind of cross pollinated to a number of different podcasts.

[02:04:34] RPX is my home as well.

[02:04:38] But I've also got a lot of friends north of the border, apparently.

[02:04:42] I get to spend some time with One Let's Die.

[02:04:45] I think I've been part of two campaigns now.

[02:04:49] Well, you're part definitely the Boston loft game.

[02:04:51] I don't know.

[02:04:53] Were you in?

[02:04:53] And I don't think you were in another one that we did.

[02:04:55] Not yet. Not yet.

[02:04:56] I mean, this one, this one will be it.

[02:04:58] But yeah, and there might be some other ones.

[02:05:01] Yeah, to come.

[02:05:02] So yeah.

[02:05:03] So there's at least three right there.

[02:05:07] Also, you can find me on Bits of Tectif.

[02:05:09] You can find me in Bits of, well, yeah, just everywhere.

[02:05:13] But just if you if you really want me to play in one of your games,

[02:05:17] just run red markets at some point in time and I will get started in your

[02:05:21] podcast. It's it's a thing.

[02:05:24] Yes, eventually show up as a taker.

[02:05:29] Much much like you as a podcaster, you just you wander in to other people's

[02:05:35] settings and or invited.

[02:05:38] Yes. Once I'm invited in, you cannot get rid of me.

[02:05:42] Vampire rules, bitch.

[02:05:44] Yeah.

[02:05:46] And Jeremy, I guess you could be found with me.

[02:05:48] I'm right here.

[02:05:50] He's been here this whole time.

[02:05:53] That's right.

[02:05:55] Actually, like a bad penny.

[02:05:56] You can't get rid of me.

[02:05:57] Jeremy will actually be appearing on One

[02:05:59] Let's Die technically because I think I'm going to be posting the

[02:06:04] Chuck's Angels games.

[02:06:06] Oh, yeah. Yeah.

[02:06:07] That was the other one that David was the other one.

[02:06:09] Yeah.

[02:06:10] Yeah, we'll be seated over here to spread the wealth.

[02:06:15] Yeah.

[02:06:16] So well, thank you all so much.

[02:06:18] And for those of you listening, thank you so much.

[02:06:19] If you're listening to us in the month of January, 2024,

[02:06:23] God, it feels weird to say that right now.

[02:06:26] That means your Patreon subscriber and we really appreciate it now.

[02:06:29] If this is like May or April, I can't remember the gap that I have between

[02:06:35] these episodes and you would like to get more of these row ups

[02:06:39] three or four months in advance.

[02:06:40] You can be a patron subscriber of ours.

[02:06:44] And you can find us at patreon.com slash real plan exchange.

[02:06:49] We're also on Facebook.

[02:06:51] I rarely remember it, but it's facebook.com slash real plan change.

[02:06:55] And finally, there's Twitter because I refuse to say X because that's stupid.

[02:07:01] And, you know, we're at RP exchange and I think we were at RP exchange at Blue

[02:07:06] Apron, I almost said Blue Sky.

[02:07:09] I blew it on.

[02:07:10] Blue Apron.

[02:07:12] We have a new sponsor, Blue Apron.

[02:07:16] But they still around.

[02:07:17] I haven't heard anything about them in years.

[02:07:19] They got a Hello Fresh sound.

[02:07:22] OK.

[02:07:23] But anyway, thank you all for tuning in and until next time, we'll see you all later.

[02:07:27] Bye bye. Bye.
