[00:01:02] We are continuing our Dresden campaign in Dresden Files Accelerated with Moorhead Mysteries. So, before we get too far ahead, let's reintroduce characters since it's been a mega week since we've all hung out for this. Hey guys, this is Adam and I'm going to be reprising the role of... I've opened up Jeremy's Kermit Street.

Yeah, you stopped the librarian and also freed a bunch of keeds.

[00:04:31] Uh, and yes, I think that... That kind of summarizes what happened last time. You guys were... You guys decided before you went and, uh, tried to rescue Phil in Ickor Falls... Uh, you were first going to... We'll get him one of these guys. Yeah, you were first going to, uh... We'll remember he exists at some point. Yeah, you were first going to redeem or, uh, or, like, help, um, pass on, um, the little girl that was made of fire in the lamp, or in the, in the train lamp. Um, and so you...

[00:05:01] You went into the micro-Demesny, I guess, that was inside the lamp. And fought her... Her father, the librarian. And... And freed a bunch of the souls of children that were also, uh, in Ickor Falls there. Um, powering the lamp. Uh, and it basically rendered it, um... Rendered it inert. So it is no longer a magical artifact. Uh, it can no longer summon a ghost train and open her way into the Ickor Falls.

[00:05:30] Um, and I think you also gave the whistle to the, uh, jade vampires. Yeah, they have... Yeah. Yeah, and they have fed upon it and given you an inert version, so... No, no, no, no. Yeah, they said, hey, give us an hour or so and we'll do this. And we're like, well, we got time to kill. You want to go kill an outsider? Yeah, I made the mistake to GM of giving you players the, like, time to dilly-dally. Yeah.

Like, I think when you guys got back, like, um, uh, Jeremy, um, Lester got a call about, uh, saying that the, um, uh, the whistle had been drained, basically. Yeah. Yeah. Perfect. So how do you guys want to, uh, uh, how to proceed? Well, you seen that montage for the, we're in commando where Arnold gets all the guns and strapped them on him and then like slides a knife in the, in the sheath and all that. I think that's what we need to do.

[00:07:56] Just like a long montage and you just give us all the guns. Oh yeah. Yeah. I actually saw that movie fairly recently. Well, Adam, uh, you're, you're a resident of Moorhead or like nearby. Yeah. Good. What's it? What's the local gun shop? Well, mainly as pawn shops. There's that's, you know, that's about the bulk of it there, but you could probably get everything. I've even seen like SAG is there for sale. Well, to be fair, the gun shows right here shows.

[00:08:26] For you Canadians, allow me to explain how finding a place to find a gun for sale in America works. Uh, we simply need to pick up a rock and throw it. Yeah. Yeah. That's true. Did they have a Walmart? Yeah. That's so. I forget. Yeah. Yeah. I, cause we are, well, but did used to carry guns. I don't know if they do anymore, but no, I imagine. Yeah. Now. Yeah. You just go to can tire. Yeah. But I mean, I don't even know if guns are actually, they're usually in a parking lot.

Like, how are you guys prepping for, for, for the oncoming rescue? Rescue? That is a good question. Uh, we should probably pick Miss Worm's brain about what we're actually going to be walking into. It's a sort of a combination of like a forest slash a mall, like an eighties mall. It looks like the wall or the mall that Robin sparkles was singing about going to. Hmm. Um, I'd like to know if there's a back way in that voice.

[00:09:51] Like we did see the, uh, did you, did we see the vision of him running? Did I dream that? Or, yeah, you, you guys, I think, you think you guys saw that, uh, in, in a dream. Um, and it was, I think you specifically saw it cause it was your friend. Um, I think I want to take that angle. Yeah. He was, he was running and hiding from something through a combination of a forest and a mall. So it appears that he is actually trapped inside the mall or the forest.

[00:10:21] Um, the mesnies and, and never, never, never realms are strange. I miss worm. I hate to bother you here, but you know, he'll he's, he's, he's good people. And, uh, I had a dream about him and he was running and he was scared. He's hiding in a mall, but it's a mall in that, uh, that, uh, upside down kind of place.

[00:10:44] But, um, what I'm thinking is, is there a way that we could use my dream to kind of hone in on him? Cause I know that there's a mall in Huntington, West Virginia, or would that mall being on this side of the realm and the other mall, but maybe be connected in a ways. And if so, you know, can we use that to, to get in there? Because we just really ruined this deal by destroying all the items that they, this, uh, this, uh, king of the forest.

[00:11:14] Uh, yeah, you might be able to, and yeah, usually it's, he has to, he wants, uh, the stillwood king has to want you in his domain.

[00:11:24] Um, but if you're, yeah, he, she like pawned upon his, it's like, I suppose if you were to create, do some kind of tracking ritual in a simulacrum of, of his home, I like that mall and using the knife to cut away into the never, never, like through the, what you got from the, uh, the, um, from William Harker.

[00:11:49] You could potentially slip through into, into that mall space that way. Basically like combine the ritual with your, with your, uh, walking through the ways, uh, that you got through, uh, basically like from, uh, what, uh, Lester has, uh, with, has access to. Mm-hmm. Uh, otherwise, um, you, you've, we've kind of done away with the ability to access Ickor Falls through the, the train station. Uh, hang, hang on.

[00:12:19] I've, I think I might have something we might be able to use. Uh, she goes into like the back of her, her space and you hear her like shuffling through like books and, and boxes. Uh, and then she, she comes out about five to 10 minutes later, um, with, uh, a framed, uh, kind of like a glass, like a framed, uh, map, uh, under glass. Yeah. Uh, she like blows dust off of it.

[00:12:45] It's like, uh, I have, I have this, uh, a memento from, from my days at Icker Falls. Uh, and she hands you guys a map of Icker Falls, which I'm going to put into roll 20. Yeah. Uh, once I fucking, uh, oh, well, you're, well, we ain't got the train whistle, but in the mall, they had it, they have this little choo-choo train set up there for tocks that you can, you know, little kids.

[00:13:14] And like, before you got, you can't, you get honestly, you did. Yeah. All right. Who's got a quarter? We're going to need it. Yeah. Jump on the hobby horse. Yeah. There, there were a number of like, again, like novelty, like, again, like, like, especially closer to like the food court where he was like running from. There were like, and around like a fountain, there were like novelty, like train track things for like kiddies and stuff. Oh my God. Everyone get on one at the same time. We start, we start them all. You see, you see a security guard. Get off that.

[00:15:08] Putting a very rough map of his world of Icar Falls in the tourist book I have. And then me laying that over a plot of land next to where Icar Falls is supposed to be on Google Maps. Hence why there's like topographical information there. You fancy son of a bitch. What can I say? I'm a graphic designer. You son of a bitch I'm in. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah.

[00:15:38] It looks like the mall on the map, Candle Cove Mall, is actually on the outskirts of town in the Stillwood Forest. Across the Arithea River. Which technically where the titular falls of Icar Falls are. And you can see like also like the train station is there like in the south. But it's as Miss Wormis kind of said like it. Because you guys got rid of the artifacts, like basically depowered the artifacts.

[00:16:09] The chances of accessing that avenue is kind of, at the very least, a lot more difficult. I really like the idea of a similar lackerman riding around on the little train, on the little mall choo-choo. Yeah. But, uh, yeah. We should probably be smart about this. Granted, he's probably going to know we're coming. We haven't even been smart about anything. Well, that's fair. But he's going to at least know that we're probably in his domain. He may not know exactly where we're at.

[00:16:36] But it'd be nice to have at least somewhat of an upper hand. And don't worry, guys. Once you guys get into the mall, or if you get into the mall, I do have a map of the mall. Well, AB Toys. That's where it went. Um, but with Dr. Phil being stuck there running in between trees, should we set up some type of thing to where he could potentially jump out once we come in?

[00:17:02] Like, if he's running in between trees, could we potentially set up some type of ritual marker spot where he could basically just teleport out once we open up a way? We could just bring a tree. We just cut down every tree except for one. Fair. Well, it would work. I kind of feel like Dr. Phil would object to that idea just a little bit. I would like to point out, this is not exactly on this mortal coil. Like, so it's right. Like, it's one of those things where it's their trees, but they're not.

[00:17:32] They're not ours. So what if we brought our own tree? Now, look, I'm not a magic man. But look, why don't we cut, why don't we find a sassiapon and we split it? I actually have an idea. Isn't there a bonsai in the bell, book, and candle? Yeah. You all look to the counter. Yeah. Canonically, there was because you showed up one day. Yeah, because that's how we got into this place once. Yeah, I think that's how Dr. Phil got here.

Well, my idea, I mean, the bonsai tree's great, but what if we took a tree, a small one, split it in half, and put part of it in the real world and take the other part of it with us over into the other world and quickly plant it,

That's kind of what I was thinking, because you want to conduit between two spots, because right now he's stuck between everything that's just in the mall. We can do that with the bonsai. Kind of. Yeah, we can cut a little baby bonsai. Mm-hmm. Just cut a little branch off of it, keep it in your pocket. Mm-hmm. Or just whatever y'all want, that sounds like a row kind of thing. Yeah. [00:19:01] I mean, if we're just snipping pieces off, like, basically artfully snipping pieces off of the bonsai tree so we can have a link. I'd take my sword to it, no. Jesus.
