[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_08]: La tiara è ad nesterone voi c'entrate

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Hi there and welcome to One Less Die and or the Roleplay Exchange!

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Uh, this is Chris or Crazon.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Uh, and i'm gonna be the GM, and I have wrangled some folks together to run a rather cathartic game of Nights Black Agents.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_07]: So let's go down the list of characters and players.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Starting at the top.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess that's me.

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Double checking.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm at the top of the alphabet.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: This is Adam, and I am going to be playing the role of David Alan Doyle.

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00]: He is of the playbook cleaner.

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, he goes by code name Dad because of his name,

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: because I'm really clever like that.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, he knows he's worked with these guys before.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_00]: They have a long and checkered history that I'm going to leave the heavy lifting to one of the other players to figure out.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_04]: That brings you to me. Hi, my name is Brownie.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll be playing Marvin Swamps.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: He is an ex-CIA wet worker who was fed LSD over a period of 11 years

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_04]: and thus is very paranoid and full of conspiracy theories and lives in a bunker.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_08]: It was a cold day in Dayton, Ohio when Eric Snow received a phone call from his friend over in Sporks.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_08]: This is Chris.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm playing the most ridiculous private investigator possible.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: This is Joe.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm playing Giancarlo Nervetti.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That goes by John because he doesn't actually speak any Italian.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a muscle.

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_09]: He did a lot of hard-hitting work in Iraq, which leaves me.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Hello, this is David and I am going to be playing our totally not super gritty Catholic priest-ish or Orphan Siegel.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Look, I was called in for a reason and usually that reason is last rites.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_03]: God damn it.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_07]: So here's the pitch.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_07]: It's 2005 and a retired colleague turned small town sheriff gives you guys a call.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_07]: His name is Chuck Eagle.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_07]: He's calling in a favor as he fears his daughter Nella has been taken in with a family who may be drug dealers.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Unfortunately, between his own closeness to the situation and a series of killings near his town that is sparking tension and worry between the populace, he can't focus on his daughter's situation.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_07]: His guts is saying something's rotten here and is asking you guys to come out to Rainy Sporks, Washington for one last favor.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Remember, Helsinki.

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so that as you guys are hopping on planes from Ohio.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_07]: And or wherever you guys are from.

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Just like, are you guys all coming in for like different airports in Ohio or is it like just like you guys are all just like happenstance being the same plane in in in like a major Ohio Airport.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Just for flavor text, by the way, player players at home.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, if you're playing along with us listeners at home, basically the majority of us picked what we were from Ohio and David Allen been from Akron has traveled down to Cincinnati to the airport, which Joe by the way, the city that the airport is in Kentucky.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But like not surprised.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we coordinated some of us or maybe I how this is kind of a quicker.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we need your help now not for you to drive across the country and stuff like that.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So I say you guys are probably red eye.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I personally could not bring myself to live in Ohio.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So my bunker is actually located in Sporks.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, he just like, all right, I mean, you just like elevator goes up and you're suddenly in Sporks.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_06]: He's just like in the wilderness.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's behind the Timber Museum.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, of course.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_07]: And for everybody listening at home Sporks is just forks Washington with the names filed off.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_07]: So you can follow again, you can follow along on Google Maps or whatever if you wish.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And for anyone wondering the only two things in Sporks are a bunch of vampire cutouts and a Timber Museum.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Though in our in our version of Sporks or works it's there's no vampires, clearly no vampires guys.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, it's all those those heartthrob zombies right from warm bodies.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so yeah, as you I guess as you guys catch planes and flights out to Washington and then I guess get vehicles or rentals or some kind from the airport somewhere in Washington, I'm guessing not near not actual sports by Seattle.

[00:06:08] Yeah.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_03]: For some reason I'm seeing all of us just I have the montage of everybody getting off the planes and then realizing we're in the same airport.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So are we just going to rent a vehicle together then did Charlie call you guys to he called in health, thank you.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_09]: Must be serious to get us all in one place.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to go right as a sprinter.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_09]: How's that sound?

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_05]: We get off in the same car.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Have a great day.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_07]: And then we as you leave, as you leave the, the side wipe happens.

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Some hours later, you guys find yourselves driving into rainy Sporks it's it's the weather is just constantly drizzly.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_07]: And as you're as you're walking as you're driving through town, you guys spot on your way in a sign for the town.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Welcome to Sporks best of both worlds.

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_07]: And then behind that sign, there is what looks like a shabby looking guy in like kind of like hemp clothing.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_07]: And he's got a cardboard cutout like a cardboard piece of Bristol board or something with a sign out like this.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_07]: He's painted on it.

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_07]: They walk among us.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_07]: And he just kind of has like a crazy hair and kind of a crazy look to his eye as he just like showing waving the sign to anybody driving by.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And this part of the world, they who walk among us are Democrats.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And we break on something fair.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So something just occurred to me.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Did we rent this under an assumed name?

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_07]: And should we make a true do we need to have a cover?

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_07]: One of you guys had to spend a cover.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Man, I got nothing in cover.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't bother.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Let me see.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I have cover.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no way.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I got 10 in cover.

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_09]: You always start with 10 points.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_09]: I mean, I'm not the driver, so probably I've got foreign driving.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Does anyone have anything better?

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_09]: So for I'll spin.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll spin the I'll spin the point.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So back in the airport, Johnny went over to the I'll get the car.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_07]: And then as you're walking up, dad shows, I was like, don't worry, I got this.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And I feel for that the paperwork will Chamberlain.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'll go well.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Not there.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll just pick something generic name.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So I guess I'll spin to is that a row for that or just kind of a flimsy.

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's just it's just an like you can just spend it to have that.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_07]: And then I think you have to roll a you had to roll a test and you can spend from that pool that you've just made for that cover to try and see if it falls under scrutiny or if it's marked as a false ID by.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Various systems.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I guess we get plus two on a one D six.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_07]: If you're if you're just straight up like spending the points for that for that cover.

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but then in that covers burned or it's it's you don't want to use it.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_07]: You don't want to try and use that again because otherwise you won't have any points for it.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_09]: Did that make sense?

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_09]: Thanks.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess me being putting, you know, you know, Johnny Smith, that I didn't need to be blown after the or be kind of flagged.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_07]: But it wouldn't be flagged.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_07]: You just you wouldn't have any points to like boost up your your your scrutiny your your role again if you use that ID, which is going in for a simple murder mystery.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not murder.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Simple murder.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_03]: A simple mystery murder.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_03]: The history is who we're going to murder first.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_00]: All right. So it would have been seven on the row.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But I have a plus two.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_07]: That's that's more than enough.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, sorry about that.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Now to the riveting game.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, so we yes.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, back to the back to the the drive into into sports.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_07]: I assume one of you guys would have called like called Chuck in, like let him know that you guys have arrived at some point.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, yeah, yeah.

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_07]: And he told you to meet at to meet him at what's that that diner brownie that's in forks.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Carver's Cafe.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he tells you to meet you at the Carver's Cafe.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_09]: So that is kind of the first stop, I suppose, in sports.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_09]: And sure enough, once you guys.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Park in there, you see that the sheriff's car or the sheriff's truck is in there.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_07]: And if you go inside, he's waiting at one of the tables.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Also, this won't be like entirely accurate to it because like I'm just going to bullshit some stuff because.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_07]: We're just using the map as like a generalized location spotter.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah, so yeah, you guys all walk into this into the diner and meet up with with Chuck Chuck Eagle.

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_04]: The waitress walks over and hands you your menus and you can't help but notice it's actually me.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, Marvin in in disguise.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_04]: And I slide into the booth.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Nice.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Wow, Marvin still doing this, huh?

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, yeah, he is.

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, with Justin Bieber being a reptoid, you know, you got to be careful.

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I can't can't let those reptoids sneak up on you.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you still got a gun license that it even instituted mental checks for that yet?

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Who needs a license?

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Fair enough.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_04]: This is America.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Not like that heathen place up north.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Oregon.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So David Allen, you know, being the trade craft expert to David Allen is immediately upon walking in and goes to the jukebox and with a handful of coins or quarters, if you would just start shooting up the most obnoxious songs because, you know, we're having kind of a private conversation.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And if honky tonk, that don't don't is playing in the background like it's kind of like a, like an ice pick in your ears, so to speak.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_08]: So, you know, you're playing what's new pussy cat seven times in a row.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes. Yeah, exactly.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: See, I was also going to go with girls, girls, girls.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, David, put in a put in a coin for me.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm too sexy and Espanol.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yo, so heck not.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, you'll queue it up.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So obnoxious music playing in the background.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there's some groans from the people on the far end of the the diner but no one, no one's going to spark trouble or anything like that.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I hate to fucking have.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Congrats, Adam. You've just, you just gained your guys some heat.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Another another waitress confused walks over and gets you guys all coffee.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm still wearing the light yellow waitress outfit sitting at the table.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I just put in my hands in my head already.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_07]: I want to thank you guys for coming to such short notice.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_09]: This is a bit of a tense matter for me.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_09]: So, yeah, I need you guys to

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_07]: surveil the the Collins is their place there.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_07]: They're a family in town and see what's going on at their at their house at their residence and

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_07]: see what they see if you if anything is on the is on the the down low.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_07]: If they are in fact what I suspect, which are some kind of cartel or or connected to some kind of cartel or drug dealers.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_07]: If you could extract my daughter, that would be a hand.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you sure they're not selkies?

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this is the right area for selkies, right?

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't think they're selkies.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus, guys, why can't you deal with your problems the normal way?

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Booze and drugs.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Chuck, really?

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Is this this is really like you're pretty sure their cartels or whatever, like they're not just weirdos.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the Pacific Northwest.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: They could just be real crunchy.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Then maybe they're weirdos.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know. Like I just got a gut feeling that something's not right there.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_07]: So now Nella and Teddy or Tedmond Collins, one of their one of the younger kids, the younger kids hooked up.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Sounds pretty crunchy. Yeah, Tedmond.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. He they hooked up earlier in the summer in the school year.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_07]: And after a while, Nella started kind of acting kind of funny.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_07]: And I figured it was probably just teen angst stuff.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_07]: But then she got really like she was starting to come in home like less and less often.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And when she did come home, she was kind of bedraggled.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_07]: And like I almost said it like I was I was kind of getting that drug vibe like a like a druggy vibe off of her.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_07]: OK. And like she was very like distant more so than since like the since the divorce.

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_07]: But eventually she she lashed out at me, said that she was moving in with with Teddy and and the Collins's.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_07]: And I haven't seen her really since then.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_06]: That was about a couple of that was a couple of weeks ago.

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_06]: So we might have a Stockholm situation thing going on.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I hope we're going to be teaching them a lesson or we're just going to get her out.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I want you guys to I I can't really get these the Collins are kind of deep in in town.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Dr. Carl Carl Collins is the is the town doctor and the kids are like they move around the around the town a lot.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_07]: So I can't really get too close to it.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you guys to kind of surveil and get into this like Sporks is a tourist town.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_07]: You guys are outsiders. That's nothing new.

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_07]: So sounds like this may be a cult situation.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_07]: God, I hope not. We got to me and that would make the second cult we've had in town.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_07]: No, I guess not called. But there's a commune on the other side of town.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_07]: A bunch of hippies or old like old old hippies.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Dad, tell me you didn't fall in for this cult horse shit, please.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, John, I've dealt with enough enough cults in my day to see the signs.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you and Dayton, Ohio. We all know it's the hardest city on Earth.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I love this. No regrets.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't buy this called bullshit. Thank God. All right.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Like look, they got this thing called Facebook and all that.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to, you know, honestly, I say if we kind of look around, I don't know,

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: social media, I don't think it should ever really catch on or anything.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: But we'll get to the bottom of it.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, here's the thing. Like I was I did do something that I could at the office.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_07]: The cons are squeaky clean.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_07]: They're model citizens as far as I can tell.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_07]: But they don't they have like there's no traffic, like no criminal record, no

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_07]: apparently any information that I was able to locate.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_07]: The only thing I know is that they're from before they moved to Sporks to fill in for the town doctor.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_07]: They were from fucking Alaska.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_07]: I've been looking into like the school, like they got no they pull their kids during all the photo days.

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_07]: There's not a single photo in any yearbook in the school for the kids.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_07]: So like I got it's just it's it's it's screaming like drug dealers or some kind of like some kind of illegal activity going on at that house.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Like and they every other every other week, the whole fan the whole lot of them drive out a drive out of Sporks.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know where I haven't been able to track where they go.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_07]: And then they come back like clockwork for the kids to come back to school.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_07]: But like it's every other week there they're gone.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not taking pictures of themselves and they're not willing to do it.

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But look, ATM drive, you know, drive through ATMs and stuff like that.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_00]: They're out there somewhere.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see the word out actually if you could kind of grease a little wheels around the local establishment sort of some advice to dealing with your town folk.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We want to create too big of a problem.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll do what I can.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_07]: I honestly got to leave soon from this from here and go back to the other side of town because we've got some we've been getting some we had we had a couple we had at least two killings in last in last week out by the new subdivision.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: This was barely got a Walmart.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_00]: What the hell's happening here?

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_07]: And as far as we can tell, it's animal attacks.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Somebody some something kind of a large wolf or something picked on picked out some hikers.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_07]: So I got to deal with that crap right now.

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know what, Charlie, I'm going to go with you for that.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_03]: That seems more like my expertise.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Are you sure it's animal killing?

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_07]: That's what the that's what our coroner is saying.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Who is also Dr. Collins.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_06]: I just realized that out of game.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Did you realize that?

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems awful suspicious to me.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems like maybe wouldn't trust his reports if you suspect he's a member of a drug cartel or whatever the hell.

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_07]: So I guess I guess having another set of eyes, an outsider set of eyes would help.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Also, just just don't don't talk about the selkies or the leprechauns.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's all fun and games until somebody loses a shoe.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just here to surveil this family right and see what the hell they're doing and whether your daughter's problems are related to them at all.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Right. Yeah.

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_07]: And if it looks like she's in harm's way, it's better out.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Right. OK.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Standard surveillance gig.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Gotcha.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: All right. Well, let's go do it, man.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_01]: This should be a couple of days.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we'll visit the Timber Museum.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Chuck, I really don't expect any problems out of this.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_06]: I hope not.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You care if we swing by swing by the house for a shock.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd like to check out the look at a room just check around there.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_00]: See if there's anything you know, you said eyes you might have missed.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, sure.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll give you the second.

[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll give you one of the keys.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Drug cartel, huh?

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know we got to watch out for you know how Pablo had those those cocaine hippos.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Jesus Christ moose.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, I can I can case the joint surveillance on their house.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_07]: All right.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. And he gives you the address of where the Collins is residences.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_07]: It's slightly out of town like it's like off off a beaten road that kind of goes into the hills.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Marv, are you serious about these cocaine moose?

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Because that would be pretty fucked.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh God.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: What's out of the Sasquatches?

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Don't encourage him to hunt.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be bad.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_01]: It would be pretty bad.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, Sasquatch be worse than cocaine moose.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, it would be if Sasquatches existed.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_04]: They do.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_07]: All right, Marv.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_07]: OK.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Siegel. All right.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Come on. Come with me.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's go take a look at those bodies or the you want to check out the bodies of the the crime scene.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Or like the killing scenes first.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I should probably go with you and check out the bodies as well.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_07]: I appreciate that.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen some stuff.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I do have out of character a three in diagnosis, so it seems like the sort of thing you would do.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_09]: It is.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_09]: OK.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_09]: So yeah, so I guess we're splitting the party.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Sounds like indeed.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: All right.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_07]: So so Johnny and Siegel are going with Chuck to the other side of town.

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_07]: It sounded like Eric Snow is going to the call is going to try and case the Collins's place.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_07]: That's the plan.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, actually, Chuck does is like, OK, Eric.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_07]: So the kids should be still in school.

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_07]: The the doctors at his office or probably helping with the investigation right now with the killings.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_07]: They're the wife, Emma.

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_07]: She she's as far as I can tell, she's a stay at home mom or like she works from home and occasionally she goes and visits her her husband at the office.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_07]: So she's she might be at home just for I.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, don't worry.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll be discreet.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, it's the first time I've had to take pictures with folks around just like Dayton, just like Dayton.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so you're going to do some surveilling and then I guess that leaves dad to go head back or head over to the the eagle residents of the eagle nest.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_07]: The Eagles and and take a look at Nella's old old room.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, the narrative question here.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Not, you know, three fourths of us were by airplane and we could not smuggle weapons and stuff like that over.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to how do you want to handle our inventory?

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Brownie, would it make sense like if they contacted you and you basically set up caches?

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, we just need to stop over the Timber Museum.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it also makes sense for me to have a concealed carry license.

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_08]: You know what was being a private investigator?

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not getting on a fucking airplane with that, I don't think you can.

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_04]: You can check it.

[00:25:43] It's fine.

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to get that out of the way instead of like, yeah, well, my MP.

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I got one of those.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, yeah, so you guys.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so you guys can make if you guys want to do a quick stop over at the Timber Timber Museum.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I checked my sword made out of meteoric iron.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_04]: As I stand up, I pull at the waitress outfit.

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a tear away.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_04]: And they're in a final shirt and some jeans.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_07]: As you walk by the by the by the diners like dump the like garbage bin, you just throw it in there.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I love how you just start to be like a basketball player taking the floor after the bitch jerk it off your poor way.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: That's great.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so who do you want to tackle first?

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_07]: I guess do I do the as you guys go and get your stuff, your some of your gear and such.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Eagles, you have one Collins is or yeah, that's true.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it seems like it's a pretty walkable town.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_01]: We could probably just walk.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's really not.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?

[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything's fall apart.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_04]: But I do have my beat up old tan suburban.

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_06]: OK, so oh yeah.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_06]: So you're already there.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_06]: You're in the your your trucks in the back.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_06]: They didn't see your car.

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, he covered it in brush.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_04]: No, it is under a ghillie net.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Also, sorry, Ronnie.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_07]: I totally get and like forgot like where you were going to be going.

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Sorry.

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I was thinking about going with Chris out to surveil the house.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And but if that were the case, I would have taken off the waitress costume and there'll be a ghillie suit underneath.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Of course, but that's in the truck.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I can drive, drive our detective out to the woods and then surveil with them.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_04]: All right for me.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't want transportation situation.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_07]: And then Adam or dad can take the other truck and then the others can hop into Chuck's truck.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so yeah, again, who wants what do we want to tackle first?

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_07]: The killings, the Collins is or the Eagles.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, oh, by the way, the combo on the weapons locker at the Timber Museum is 1963, the year of the Kennedy assassination.

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Of course it is.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_04]: He's still alive, you know.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Swap ass swamp foot.

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_09]: Swampy.

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Skunk.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_04]: He's in Kentucky with the tree dolphins.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh yeah.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's let's just do the bodies first.

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: No one else is volunteered.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so you guys, yeah, he tricks you out to the other side of town.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And there's like it's like kind of a looks at the start of like a subdivision like they're starting to build some houses and like clear some land for properties on the other side of the road is what looks like an overgrown kind of large

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_07]: like farm property or like an orchard property.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Like there's just a bunch of kind of it looks like they at one point the apple trees were like lined up in rows like in like kind of an ornate row.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_07]: But like the people that live there have clearly let the land regrow around them.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_07]: And there are like spots that are where people have it's there signs that people have like are going out to those orchards like to those trees and stuff from the farmhouse that's on the very end of the property.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, they it's just been left to kind of sit and go wild.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_07]: And you guys pass that into a to a trailhead just down the road from that and start kind of as you get out, it's like, yeah, this is the this is where we found the bodies up just up the trail.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_07]: The we should have somebody over there already taking a look at like keeping an eye on the on the site.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Dr. Colin might even be up there as well before we get the bodies moved.

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Geez, OK. What's your excuse going to be to get us in?

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You put that on us. Yeah, guys.

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's OK, Johnny. All we have to do is just stand there, look intimidating and they'll draw their own conclusions.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure. All right. I mean, I can do that. That's not a problem.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just, you know, remind me to draw the correct conclusions.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_09]: Do you have covers? Yes, I know.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_09]: I know. Yeah, you guys start walking up the trail.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Probably about five minutes before you come to like a spot where like you can see like there you can see them off in the distance.

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_07]: There's some yellow crime tape and there is a single deputy waiting around at the at the site.

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_07]: And there is no other person aside from the deputy and the bar and the bodies that have been at this point.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_07]: There's some like tarp put over them.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to worry about it. You can get rid of this fucking deputy.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, the sheriff sheriff is like, wait, deputy, where's the where's the where's Dr. Collins?

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Wasn't he here when I left and was like, oh, Dr.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_07]: has gone down to the come back to his office is they're going to go get the the ambulance and stuff.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, fuck. OK. Well, I guess that makes it easier.

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_07]: The deputy to go to the end and to meet them is like, yes, sir.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_09]: So, yeah, the deputy walks off down the trail, eyeing you guys as he walks by.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_09]: I just ignore him. And there are two bodies.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_05]: All right, let's take a look at these corpses. OK.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: OK. I guess I will spend a point of diagnosis.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_07]: OK. Yeah. So you pull the bodies open or the the the the people that you pull the tarp over off the bodies.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_07]: OK. And yeah, they look very pale.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Their throats have been just mangled and like basically worried their throats to nothing.

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_07]: OK. The strange thing is, there's not a lot of blood,

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_07]: but it does kind of look like a like some kind of a wolf or a dog attack by the look of the worrying on the neck.

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So they got. Yeah, it could be exsanguinated.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, coyotes up here could be wolves, could be bears.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_09]: There's no blood on the site on the scene here.

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_07]: There's very little blood. That's very odd.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they should have bled every goddamn place like it's it's it's kind of it's lightly like misting right now.

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's not enough to wash it away.

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_07]: So the bodies also look like at first it looks kind of looks like they were fighting for whatever happened.

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_07]: But then there's something off about it.

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Some signs of a struggle, but not much.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Any other wounds? Any other like self-defense wounds?

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_07]: You check the arms. OK.

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_07]: You open the push back the sleeves and such. Right.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_07]: As you see some kind of a marking. And it does actually look like there is some bruising on the arms.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_09]: Arm bruising like.

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_07]: It's weird. It kind of looks like like finger like like somebody like grabbed onto their arms and like really tightly to the point of bruising.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's very odd. That does not consistent with animal tech.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_03]: How big are those bruises? Like let's look at the size of those.

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_09]: Are they compared to the size of a standard human hand?

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it it matches that of a human hand like the size of a human hand.

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Certainly not. Certainly not like the paws of something.

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe somebody held them down to get mauled.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Maybe. I mean.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, fuck. I hope this isn't so that you know that or you saw that orchard we went by on the way here.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's the that's the hippie commune.

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_09]: Fuck, they've got dogs.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_09]: I don't think but like I know I know they're they're kind of their matriarch.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_07]: They wouldn't I don't I don't they've never they've never done anything like this.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_07]: David, what's your character's name again?

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Seagull Seagull Seagull.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe let's let's try to find this blood.

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to take a look around and see what kind of tracks we got in the area and stuff.

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's reasonable.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_03]: There are a couple of different things that would.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Exsanguina target.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, both both John and John or both Chuck and John I roll.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: All right. Yeah, but let's look.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's let Sherlock Holmes this shit, right?

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's not move to the improbable before we rule out the probable.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Right. I'm just saying that lampreys are a thing and this is the right area for lamprey.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_03]: But those foods are very big for lamprey.

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Those aren't lamprey wounds and they're not underwater.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_03]: We're at a seaside that the blood could be in the water.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_09]: I just like stared him in blank.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_09]: I think that's also Chuck's doing that.

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: All right, well, let's see if there are any human or land mammal interventions first.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's take a look.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_03]: We should, but I'm just pointing out the obvious.

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll put lamprey on list.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like it looks like these bodies have been drained completely of blood because otherwise there would be more of it here.

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I agree with that. That's obvious.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Actually, so you spent one point of diagnosis, you said?

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, diagnosis.

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_07]: That's under is that general skills and that's a investigative ability.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Not so. Yeah.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_09]: It's academic.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_09]: So like what killed this person?

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so yeah, so it's an exsanguination because that would be extremely interesting and not the throat slashing.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_07]: So take so you're looking I assume you're you're probably well, he's looking around and try and like looking around for tracks and stuff with that or like looking where the blood is outside.

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_07]: I imagine you're looking like deeper at the.

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm probing the wounds and whatever.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_07]: So first of all, let's get I guess so seagulls looking around.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, would this be an outdoor survival to basically see where it's like look if this was a standard wild animal killing the blood would be here here here here and here and it's not.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, you're you're looking around the the area around the trails up and down and even in the woods.

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're not seeing so what you're not seeing is you're not seeing any it the grounds kind of like a mix of like gravel and like there's some mud patches.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_07]: But you're not seeing any real substantial footprints.

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_07]: You're not seeing any blood.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_07]: But as you kind of go off into the woods, you do catch you do see a there's like it looks like a torn piece of cloth on like a bramble.

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_07]: So it looks like it's like a piece of like manufactured like it's like something like somebody's like somebody's like denim.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Proper denim or Levi's.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Cheap denim or Levi's I should say Levi's.

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_03]: So the hi-yat stuff.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Somebody was wearing fashion jeans.

[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And actually as you're as you're out there looking at the woods seagull, you do see some motion off in the brush.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Something just moved like like passed by some like some small trees or like ferns and stuff like that in the in out there in the woods.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_09]: Something relatively big, but going back to to Johnny.

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_07]: You look at the throat wound and at first it looks like a dog bite or like a cake like some kind of an like a large animal with a muzzle like into this person.

[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_07]: That's that's what it's got to be.

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_07]: But there's you're looking at like the what's left of the veins that like are leaving like kind of going around the that the part of the wound.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Right, right.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_07]: And there's like a blackening.

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_07]: There's there's a there's a there's some kind of a discoloration.

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_07]: That you know is more in line with like us like somebody getting like poisoned or venom like with interesting and venom.

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, I smell for putrefaction.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, there is putrefaction.

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_01]: OK, yeah, more so than normal.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, this is pretty fast even though it is very damp up here.

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, you see that.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_07]: And there is absolutely no blood in his system.

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Now that's not possible.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Not possible.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: That role stability.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll spend a point on it.

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_01]: So plus one is a four.

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so you I think four is fine.

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_07]: So you don't lose your you don't lose anything more.

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_07]: That's but that's impossible.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I feel a little green.

[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_07]: So we cut away as the camera like drones away from that site to to we'll say the the the the Forks residence.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So on a way, the Eagles resident, the Eagles residents, the Eagles residents on the way there because you know trade craft and all that he saw he had, you know, cigarettes and whatnot.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And he picked up a large bag of ladies potato chips and I am he is put them in the glove box.

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_00]: For a special occasion, OK, because you can light those on fire and it will burn entire product.

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, yeah, seriously, like potato chips burn pretty good.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I mean, they are oil.

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so, you know, a little bit of trade craft in case things go sideways.

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want to do that around, you know, the senior members of our group just in case, you know, they kind of think I'm a shooter.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, pulling up what's the house look like?

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been here.

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We just I worked with Charlie beforehand, but you know, we've never really been to one other's houses.

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Who would want to go to?

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_07]: It's it's a nice place, like pretty quaint as I pull up an image of the of the Swan residence in Forks.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's a white panel like kind of vinyl paneling.

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_07]: It's got three three floors and a basement by looks of it.

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_07]: As you pull into the driveway, like there's a garage that goes down into like the cut like into the basement level, like it goes down into like the driveway goes down into a garage area.

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you pull in it's basically like a white, a white vinyl vinyl house.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And he hasn't finished his cigarette, so he doesn't want to walk in the house smoking.

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So what he does is I want to kind of just kind of walk around the perimeter looking for like if she's ran away and stuff like that, I'm kind of thinking, do I see like, I don't know where a ladder had been placed outside of a window or like things like that.

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So just I mean, if there's anything there, I mean, this is passive.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not really spinning points or anything like that.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like everything's more inside, mechanically speaking.

[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. Yeah, you walk around.

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_07]: You don't initially see any any signs of like a ladder or like even like the any kind of like dense or anything like that on like the window.

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_07]: So where you you presume her or any of the windows would be.

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, on the outside it doesn't look like there's anything like any kind of specific weirdness or about it.

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_07]: And then afterward you you walk in or you go to the door and go in.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll go ahead and walk in.

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Walk as I he kind of I guess gave me to run down to the house, but I was kind of like I'll walk up and I want to see if there's like that like call records, you know, like a caller ID.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And then kind of scroll back through and look for numbers and stuff like definitely around the date of when it happens.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_00]: That she disappeared. So so what were you doing there? Looking through the caller ID on the phone. Oh, gotcha.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, yeah, just, you know, going back through the dates in, you know, writing down numbers that appear.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Definitely ones around the time of her disappearance and I guess getting cold numbers basically.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going moments.

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Collins is like it's not it's not Colin, it's it's Collins with the with an O, not a you.

[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, I think coming in the air tonight if it helps.

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, yeah, you go through and you get some numbers.

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_07]: You even see like Dr. Dr. Collins is office a couple of times like his number.

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_07]: There's another number that says Teddy because she actually programmed in the on the on the phone on the home phone when he was calling at some point.

[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_07]: There was a lot of Teddy calls before the date of the rough date of when like she was she left beforehand.

[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_07]: And then there was a couple after you kind of presume there's also that are mingled with like numbers like Nella's cell or some of it along those lines.

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_07]: So you presume that like those are like maybe Chuck trying to contact his his daughter after the the lash out and and the leaving of the house.

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So OK, well go ahead and make it up to the room.

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Look for look around the seat. There's a computer with a dial-up modem.

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_09]: So there isn't a computer.

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_07]: The how the the room is actually pretty Spartan.

[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_07]: It's pretty bare like it looks like it's been cleaned out.

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_07]: There is a Jack where like it like to us to a router where like a laptop could have been put or like even like a computer could have been put on like one of the desks.

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_07]: But that's about it.

[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_09]: So it seems like she brought her she took her laptop with her.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I would like to I think I have in six.

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll give you this because like this is again I'm trying to get used to gum shoe and just giving you clues as you're like you're like well this was a waste and you start walking out the door.

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's when you see just under the there's a bedside table right next to the bed and you can just see the corner of a what looks like a small booklet or like a compositional book under like that was slid underneath that that that bedside table like you wouldn't have like noticed it because it was like that.

[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_07]: So the way the table is there's no there's just like a little like kind of space like a couple of inches in size.

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_07]: So like but like the corner of this booklet is sticking out slightly from underneath it.

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I do have notice it through.

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like my senses.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you you like you turn around and you just like beeline your eyes for that.

[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You'll be all sound.

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_07]: And you you go pull it out and it is it says Nella's Diary.

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I enjoy this blatant clue.

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I will take it also it's a window locked because I'm still thinking like Romeo and Juliet.

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, a rise fair sun killed the obvious moon for his obvious or whatever the fuck it is.

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, the window is locked.

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_07]: It looks like either Nella locked it or or Chuck has since locked it.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_07]: There are some there's some weird markings on the outside window sill though.

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So I've got the book I've got I've got a forensic six.

[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got a forensic pathology at.

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_00]: For so say for a a point spend, can I say that I have I have my little kit to take fingerprints.

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, I've already put on my rubber gloves.

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to contaminate the scene.

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to kind of go over the window.

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Try you know, this guy doesn't have pictures elsewhere.

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But if he's involved in drugs and maybe we have prints of him somewhere in a government database.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to spend the rest of the scene just kind of going through even to the point

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_00]: because I've been fixating on windows with like ladders and stuff like that.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm even going to kind of open the window and then just start kind of going around the exterior of it.

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_00]: If the weather hasn't affected that, you know.

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so you do that and like you look you open the window and you get a better closer look at those those markings on the windows on the outside window sill.

[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_07]: So you didn't see a ladder like signs of a ladder being put up.

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_07]: And this is like on the second floor of the build of this house.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_07]: There's no there's no trees and there's no you're looking outside and there's no real way to climb up.

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_07]: But the more you look at those markings, the more you realize those are finger like those are fingertip markings that have been like kind of from the weight of somebody has like

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_07]: lifting themselves up from the window sill into this window.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Fuck like, yeah, like that's what it looks like.

[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_07]: And you look at some parts of the window, like on the edges of the window, there are some fingerprints of somebody like that would have like pushed the window up.

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Then I guess kind of walk back eventually I'll look and see if it looks like it's been the locking mechanism had been sprung or something like that on the window.

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But I tell you what, I'm walking away from the noise.

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_00]: How about if there's something else here, can we get an info dump from like that's bizarre.

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Do I need to make I don't have to make a stability check for that.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That's just kind of weird.

[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if you'd have to make it. Yeah, that's not that's not like the blood of the person has been completely like drained.

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Stability check. I don't think that's it's that necessary yet.

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm going to step outside on the back porch.

[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, for a break and read the book.

[00:50:09] Okay.

[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_07]: And do you want us to switch to the next scene or like do you want some info from that book.

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Say that inform everybody's opinion, like I make a phone call or anything like that.

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So I guess we'll just say yeah, just go ahead and dump it here on me real quick and we'll call it.

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay. So it starts off kind of like normal like Dear Diary like like I met a nice boy today.

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_07]: And then it kind of just as the as the days go the dates go on, they become more and more nonsense scribblings and like draw like the right drawings of certain like symbols and just kind of rambling about Ted about Teddy.

[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_07]: And at first you're like again, it's kind of looks like it's just like preteen or like teen teen kind of nonsense or angst.

[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_07]: But the symbols are what kind of catch your eye. Like there's something off about those like those aren't regular those aren't a teen girl doesn't know a 17 year old girl doesn't.

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_07]: You wouldn't think they do like draw those kind of symbols unless they're like a goth or like a really like high creative.

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_09]: Or like a real like we are really a bookworm into some real esoteric stuff.

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_07]: And the what she's writing about Teddy, it sounds almost like she's addicted to like his it like it's like he's addicted to his scent his like being around him.

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_07]: A lot of like there's a lot of trigger words for like addiction of some kind or like an obsession.

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_09]: So that's that's about what you get from that from the from the book itself.

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, well, you'll just seen then so and then we we cut across the town again to the Collins is residents or at least just outside of it.

[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_07]: So how do you want to tackle the Collins is there detective detective snow and and bogs or is it is it swamps bogs or swamps.

[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I switched to swamp so it wasn't just a complete copy paste.

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, so swamps.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_08]: What I would suggest is I'll pull out my camera try to find a good point to surveil.

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And just take pictures. Okay, so the property. There is a winding road that goes up to the property into the basically into the into the pine forest.

[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_07]: And it looks like the house is kind of on a slight hill. There's a river on the one side of the house, the property is on an incline goes into the into the pine woods.

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_07]: The only real access to it is from like a road, like a very long winding driveway that goes all the way up into the onto the property.

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_07]: And there is a creek on the one side of the property.

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Where the house would have like a view of like some of the more like larger like hills and like kind of like the escarpments or mountain range of the area.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I know if we only want to get eyes on it I know an old logging trail that will get us you know fairly close on the other side of the creek.

[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay, I think that's probably the smartest moves of.

[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_09]: So you guys go off that down the logging trail.

[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, drive drive the suburban up most of the way and then switched on foot. Yeah.

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay. Okay. So yeah, you get pretty pretty close to the creek and like the creek is actually on the property so you can it's on the other side of the on the one side of the creek where you guys are on.

[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_07]: It's like the tree line. And then on the other side of the creek it looks like they've, they've opened up the property so that they can see the creek itself from these massive open windows like view like a viewpoint on the one side it looks at the one side of the house is just windows.

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_09]: All right.

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_09]: So, first things first, I'm going to zoom in see if I can see any movement inside.

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay. I don't think you had to spend for that so yeah it's just.

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you, you see.

[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_07]: It looks like somebody moved from one room to another in the through the windows that you're these giant open windows you see like somebody move through like a living area, a living room area to like the kitchen.

[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Gotcha. Yeah.

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_07]: It's a very nice house like it is it you're thinking it definitely cost couple of digits.

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh great.

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_07]: I wonder if this guy's a doctor or something. Yeah, it's almost it's almost like that guy's a doctor.

[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm also surveilling through a monocular a monocular okay.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Nice.

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you see the same kind of thing then the same movement.

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_09]: The something. Yeah, the house.

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_09]: I guess from this distance.

[00:55:25] [SPEAKER_09]: There's a lot of portraits.

[00:55:28] [SPEAKER_07]: On the wall on like on the back wall of the living room area.

[00:55:34] [SPEAKER_09]: Most of them are paintings, or in fact all of them are paintings.

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_09]: So, there is that as well. But you guys would have to get maybe a little bit closer to find out more details and such.

[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, as of right now I'm just trying to get some shots of the person moving around. Okay, yeah. Yeah it's a, it's a woman looks like she's in her like 40s.

[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Like, kind of curly brownish red hair like shoulder length, pretty pale fact like snow white you'd say detective snow.

[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_07]: And, but she's very, she's like gliding through the house like kind of very elegantly.

[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay, so definitely a homemaker.

[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm hoping I can surveil long enough for her to leave the house and then we can do some breaking it up. Okay.

[00:56:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we'll say you guys are out here for about an hour before she eventually leaves the house.

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_07]: It looks like she got a call.

[00:56:47] [SPEAKER_07]: And she, she heads out and if you guys are, do you guys try and get a beat on like what she's driving.

[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_07]: That is a, that's a nice cherry red Ferrari.

[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I take a picture of it. Yep. I try to get the license plate number.

[00:57:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_07]: You do so. Oh, actually hang on. Sorry I just missed I forgot something. Were you using your camera to like surveil her or using regular binoculars like your and your eyes, and such as using my camera.

[00:57:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry, I actually forgot to add something to the was so for Brett for for for swamps.

[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_07]: You're using your monocular right.

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and you're seeing this woman going through the house for Detective Snow.

[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_07]: You are seeing it's, it's, it's obvious that it's a woman.

[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_07]: But the face is constantly like there's constantly distortion on with your, your machine with the, the your camera, like your camera is unable to identify is unable to get a clear picture of her, no matter how well you, you know,

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_07]: how, no matter what angle and whatnot. Like there's almost it's almost like there's like some kind of artifacting going on with your device.

[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Alright, I can't get a good shot. My camera is on the fritz. But when when she does drive out I will take a picture of the car and the license.

[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and you may yeah you can do so.

[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_07]: You get a picture of the the the the car and the license plate are fine. Yeah.

[00:58:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Still getting the artifacting on her face though. Oh yeah, and unless she like basically it's only when she's not like visibly in the scene that your machines is artifacting.

[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are. Yeah. Well you know that's from the facial recognition that the Illuminati, you know, have programmed into all the, the software so that you can't get pictures of their members maybe she's a member of the Illuminati.

[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_05]: We're gonna put a pin in that.

[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_09]: And I want you to think about what you've just said.

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_04]: He just kind of makes that no scrunched up kind of mouth partly open look looking at you like he's thinking.

[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Nice.

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, after a few minutes, she is driven down the driveway and is gone.

[00:59:23] [SPEAKER_09]: I will relay information to the same members of the team, which I guess would be the same member.

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, me.

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_04]: And while we were out in the woods together you heard all about how Jimmy Hoffa is alive and he's actually our postmaster here in town.

[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be pretty easy to determine just take a look at the guy. Yeah, he's got a beard now.

[00:59:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.

[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, cool.

[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_09]: He'd be old as dirt.

[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Kind of looks like Al Pacino.

[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Just a little bit.

[01:00:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Just like, I can't even with these people.

[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_01]: He was 62 in 1975.

[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_06]: It's 2005.

[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he'd be in his 90s.

[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, he's on those those preservatives.

[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Remember I mentioned the Illuminati.

[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Clearly.

[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to call up John.

[01:00:36] Okay.

[01:00:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, what's going on?

[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, wife's out of the house now.

[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna break in.

[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Was having trouble getting any good shots of her?

[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_08]: There were some weird artifacting going on with my camera.

[01:00:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Also get me the fuck away from this guy.

[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay.

[01:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll do my best.

[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at these corpses.

[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's weird.

[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_01]: No blood at all.

[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Other fluids exist.

[01:01:08] [SPEAKER_01]: No blood.

[01:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[01:01:12] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to break in and see if there's anything we can find.

[01:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think this is a sideline.

[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a weird thing.

[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But you know, it probably doesn't have anything to do with us.

[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let me know how the break-in goes.

[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_07]: John and to a lesser degree Snow, you both hear...

[01:01:36] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're hearing this over John's phone.

[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_07]: You hear an animal growling.

[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Something's here.

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I gotta go.

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Hold on.

[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Hang that burner phone up and turn.

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_09]: Hand on gun.

[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_09]: So we cut over to where Siegel was.

[01:02:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Siegel, you saw some motion in the brush.

[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Something big.

[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Were you going to do anything about that?

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, yes.

[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go...

[01:02:13] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's condition two.

[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Basically reach for the shoulder holster.

[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Pull hammer back on pistol.

[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And well, yeah, you know what?

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Fuck it.

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Draw gun.

[01:02:27] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[01:02:28] [SPEAKER_09]: As you do so.

[01:02:30] [SPEAKER_09]: And then circle.

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, as you go circling.

[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_09]: Out of the brush.

[01:02:39] [SPEAKER_09]: Walks very calmly, it seems.

[01:02:43] [SPEAKER_09]: A large wolf.

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_09]: Like larger than a normal...

[01:02:48] [SPEAKER_09]: Than you would think a normal wolf.

[01:02:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So really big.

[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Really fucking big.

[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, like dire wolf.

[01:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:02:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Not that big, but like it's pretty big.

[01:03:02] [SPEAKER_07]: It's bigger than an average wolf.

[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Wolves get big to start with.

[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they do get big to start with.

[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_07]: This one's like the biggest wolf you fucking see.

[01:03:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Hello, Waheela.

[01:03:11] [SPEAKER_07]: And it does growl.

[01:03:13] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's what John hears.

[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_07]: As you turn around.

[01:03:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Just leveling gun.

[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Just hello, Waheela.

[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Are we going to be civil about this?

[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_09]: It sits in the middle of the trail.

[01:03:29] [SPEAKER_09]: And watches.

[01:03:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Lower gun, but still have it in hand.

[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So.

[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think this is you.

[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_03]: This does not feel like the M.O. for a wolf.

[01:03:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So do you want to tell me about this?

[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, it begins panting.

[01:03:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, John how are you handling this?

[01:03:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Are you talking to a wolf?

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And expected to get answers?

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_03]: We're having a conversation.

[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Which it said so far.

[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it agrees that it didn't do this.

[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_03]: It does?

[01:04:10] [SPEAKER_06]: You want to roll stability again there John?

[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Again.

[01:04:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Only sane people.

[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't want to roll stability.

[01:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe it.

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not belief. That's incredulousness.

[01:04:28] [SPEAKER_07]: I just mean like at the situation you find yourself in.

[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Also, I think maybe, I don't know, you think, uh, should seagull roll stability?

[01:04:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Because like holy shit, a wolf?

[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean if you want a stability roll for look at this goddamn wolf that would be fair.

[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit we're going to get jumped by this enormous predator.

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'd say that maybe.

[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Alright, I'm going to roll with a plus one again.

[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.

[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Alright, good.

[01:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay and I'll give you my roll for holy shit wolf.

[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a six.

[01:05:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, you guys, again, it's like okay, I'm in this situation.

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Both of you are like that.

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_07]: It's like alright.

[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah the wolf, um, it's sitting there panting and then it just kind of runs off into the woods.

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_09]: Like away from you.

[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: We should have killed it and we could have examined its intestines to see if it had consumed any human blood.

[01:05:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to follow the wolf.

[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_03]: He obviously wants me to follow him.

[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, John, your partner is running off into the woods after the wolf.

[01:05:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to look at Chuck and shrug and then run after him because my drive is companionship.

[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Fuck, oh god.

[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_07]: And then you see as you're leaving you hear Chuck like on his radio it's like, deputy get back over here now.

[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_05]: I wish I had a bigger gun.

[01:06:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you guys run off into the brush.

[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_07]: We will get back to you in a bit.

[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey seagull isn't it a little cold out here without your rifle?

[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you chasing any wolves?

[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[01:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's fine.

[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I've got a 45.

[01:06:30] [SPEAKER_09]: Alright.

[01:06:35] [SPEAKER_07]: So, I'm trying to remember your names again.

[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Adam, what, Dad.

[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm just going to refer to you as Dad, the acronym.

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_07]: So you finish up looking through the notebook and what have you on the porch.

[01:06:53] [SPEAKER_07]: What are you doing next?

[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_07]: What time of day is it? What day of the week is it? What hour is it?

[01:06:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I will say at this point you guys got in pretty early.

[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Just before lunchtime.

[01:07:06] [SPEAKER_07]: At the diner and stuff.

[01:07:07] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's been maybe about an hour or so since then.

[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's about one or two in the afternoon on a, we'll say a Thursday.

[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I'm just going to probably cruise around town.

[01:07:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to cruise around the high school in particular and kind of be on the lookout for cameras.

[01:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And stuff like that I could have picked up.

[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Eddie?

[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Teddy.

[01:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Teddy, excuse me.

[01:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to get a print.

[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe call in a contact and see if these people are on the radar for drugs.

[01:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm sane even though I've been exceedingly left out of that conversation.

[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_07]: So you drive by the school and such.

[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_07]: It just occurred to me that Chuck never gave you guys, I'm going to say Chuck gave you guys descriptions of the Collins' so you know what to look for.

[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_07]: That's just on me like forgetting.

[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_07]: They're very pale.

[01:08:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, very pale.

[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_07]: They've all got brown to blonde hair.

[01:08:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Brown, reddish to blonde hair.

[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_09]: As far as you can tell their eyes are all green.

[01:08:26] [SPEAKER_07]: And Chuck remarked also, they're the ones in the nice clothes.

[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_07]: In the rich clothes.

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_09]: So yeah.

[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're driving by the school, we'll say it's at a period where they'd be outside.

[01:08:45] [SPEAKER_07]: There's definitely some security cameras.

[01:08:47] [SPEAKER_07]: You can tag where they are like around the entrances and exits of the school and such.

[01:08:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So I may break into the school later when it closes or kind of go in.

[01:08:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a potential thing.

[01:09:01] [SPEAKER_00]: As far as everything else I can go, I think I would call.

[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess.

[01:09:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Actually I will say as you're going through, so you told that they'd be wearing like rich, like kind of like the expensive clothing and stuff like that.

[01:09:15] [SPEAKER_07]: And while you don't see them, you do see some very like uncharacteristically expensive looking cars in the student parking lot.

[01:09:26] [SPEAKER_00]: OK.

[01:09:28] [SPEAKER_09]: Is there anybody watching me?

[01:09:33] [SPEAKER_09]: Not that you see.

[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_09]: That school's in session.

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_07]: School's in session.

[01:09:39] [SPEAKER_07]: There's still a little bit of drizzle.

[01:09:41] [SPEAKER_07]: In fact, even a little bit of like a foggy mist kind of around.

[01:09:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So I just want to go over and get prints of the car door handles.

[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_05]: OK.

[01:09:55] [SPEAKER_09]: Sounds good.

[01:09:57] [SPEAKER_09]: So give me a cry.

[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going for samples.

[01:10:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So going to the nice car, you know, pulling in like is there like somebody watching me pull it?

[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Is there a gate I got to go through?

[01:10:10] [SPEAKER_07]: There's no gate.

[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_07]: It's you just you're able to like it's an open kind of an open access like parking lot area.

[01:10:17] [SPEAKER_09]: As far as you can tell, there's nobody like watching you or anything like that.

[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_09]: Give me a second.

[01:10:29] [SPEAKER_09]: What do you have? Do you have anything in notice?

[01:10:33] [SPEAKER_09]: I hate to tell you, but I am the world's greatest noticer.

[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Plus, I have three yet.

[01:10:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.

[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_07]: You are ever vigilant.

[01:10:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you show you go into the parking lot like you you're able to like time it's like there's you get into there and like you're just like when no one's like no passerby are looking or no cars are going by and you just get in and sneak it kind of like just slip in.

[01:11:00] [SPEAKER_07]: And you you get out of your car again.

[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Nobody's looking as far as you can tell.

[01:11:05] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're you get up to the one of the nice.

[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_07]: It's a really nice truck.

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what a nice truck would be, but it's a really expensive looking truck like it looks like it gets waxed on the on the regular.

[01:11:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, one of those escalate trucks.

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_09]: Sure. Yes, it's an escalate.

[01:11:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Or is a good piece of American steel here.

[01:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a denial not denial.

[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_00]: A GMC anyway, so I do see the nice vehicle.

[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to just, you know, if nonchalant as possible, pull into parking lot.

[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, pull up next to that.

[01:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Walk by with my shitty cell phone because smartphones did not come out to 2007.

[01:11:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So we've got a little, you know, Nokia or flip phones with snakes and shit like that on it.

[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So what by tag plates with my phone and then quickly pull up my forensic kit that I've established that I have.

[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And just go ahead and pull a little thumbprint on fair print off the door handles.

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to go ahead and pull up again.

[01:12:19] [SPEAKER_09]: OK, you're doing that there.

[01:12:24] [SPEAKER_07]: So you're doing that.

[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_07]: And then you like look through the like you're as you're getting up from doing that, like you've got the prints and some of that.

[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_07]: You can get those like tested to see if they match like other from print fingerprints and such.

[01:12:36] [SPEAKER_07]: You look through the windshield like between like through the car cabin basically like and it kind of looks out into like the tree line near the school.

[01:12:46] [SPEAKER_09]: And then things go black for you.

[01:12:52] [SPEAKER_09]: You get hit by a car.

[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: You get hit by two cars simultaneously.

[01:13:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I got to double check to see how you.

[01:13:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.

[01:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: DJs know.

[01:13:08] [SPEAKER_07]: I just want to double check to make sure there's nothing that you have to you can actually roll against this.

[01:13:18] [SPEAKER_09]: That triggers a viper security system.

[01:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember those commercials for back in the day?

[01:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I probably are.

[01:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, I do.

[01:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[01:13:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I never had a car nice enough to need a security system, so I don't remember.

[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my old Buick with the you that fell off the big didn't need it either.

[01:13:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, OK.

[01:13:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Can you roll a stability check for me, please?

[01:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Sir, I can roll stability checks all day.

[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: The moment that I find my character sheet over here, that is not in the Dastrak.

[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I would like to go ahead and it looks like my stability is nine.

[01:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You can spin stability or is it just based on I'm trying to remember?

[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_03]: You can spend stability to give yourself a bonus to make the roll or you can roll at base.

[01:14:07] [SPEAKER_03]: But depending on where the difficulty lies, most of the time they're right around a four.

[01:14:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's usually better to spend a point and make the roll than it is to just fail.

[01:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll spend a point and a roll, and that was a five, so I rolled a six on stability overall.

[01:14:29] [SPEAKER_09]: OK.

[01:14:34] [SPEAKER_07]: So you looked through the cabin as you were finishing up with your collecting your forensics,

[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_07]: your fingerprints and so that and for there is an instant where you saw at the tree line a lanky,

[01:14:48] [SPEAKER_07]: like late teen pale kid with like brown kind of wild hair and very piercing green eyes.

[01:14:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And then things go black for you.

[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're suddenly no longer in the parking lot.

[01:15:08] [SPEAKER_07]: You're back in your truck driving out of town about a mile before you come to.

[01:15:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Is this another stability check?

[01:15:24] [SPEAKER_07]: I think this is another stability check.

[01:15:27] [SPEAKER_07]: No, your stability check was for that happening.

[01:15:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I rolled the attack and it succeeded.

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_07]: So the spillage check was for that part.

[01:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, obviously lock up in the middle of the fucking road.

[01:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's the truck starts kind of, you know, it's a real drive anyway.

[01:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So, like, you know, the ass in the front end, like I'm having a little bit of trouble where just kind of.

[01:15:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And then if I don't hit anything, I come to a complete stop in the middle of the road.

[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Stop on the 101.

[01:16:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, basically.

[01:16:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you're you're about a you're you're you're about a mile out of out of sports.

[01:16:17] [SPEAKER_04]: There's not much traffic around that part of the highway.

[01:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So going to go ahead and pull over to the side of the road and look and see if my forensics kit and all my shitters with me.

[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_09]: They are not.

[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_00]: But I didn't have the other ship that I took from this one thing out there.

[01:16:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Just like, yeah.

[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Your forensic kit has been is nowhere in the car or in the truck.

[01:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're in luck, Adam.

[01:16:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a dead simple two lane highway.

[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So you just make a U-turn.

[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, so go out, release the the you know how the underneath these trucks like the spare tire and then like the like Jack thing like all the apparatus is out.

[01:17:11] [SPEAKER_00]: The jacks up would be in the cab.

[01:17:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So I free the jack part of it, not the jack part, but the handle parts.

[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: At least I have something and I'm going to drive back to school because you don't nobody blacks David on his step.

[01:17:24] [SPEAKER_07]: David Allen, as as you're getting ready to turn around, you are like right neck.

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_07]: You're fairly close to a like what looks like a like a speed sign or traffic sign.

[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_07]: And with your notice, you you've got to notice you.

[01:17:38] [SPEAKER_07]: There is a message for you in blood on the on the sign on the on the back of the side that you would you would notice because it's like it's the sign was for like on the opposite coming traffic.

[01:17:50] [SPEAKER_07]: But on the on the on the back of the sign, it says get out just in in red that's dripping off of the sign.

[01:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Goddamn, Goddamn shame. I'm cold.

[01:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's going to catch a tire into the face of teenagers about to learn some lessons, hard lessons.

[01:18:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, not so hard, but a harsh truth of Akron, sir.

[01:18:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, not as hard as Dayton.

[01:18:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Speaking of we come back.

[01:18:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Akron's pretty hard, actually.

[01:18:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Way more.

[01:18:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's yeah, we come back to the Collins's residence that swamps and and snow are about to break into.

[01:18:45] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's why you can't trust all those conspiracy theorists.

[01:18:48] [SPEAKER_04]: The earth isn't flat.

[01:18:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It's hollow as it fades in.

[01:18:57] [SPEAKER_08]: So there's this new movie that just came out.

[01:18:59] [SPEAKER_08]: It's called What the Bleep, What the Bleep Do We Know?

[01:19:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[01:19:07] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so yeah, you get how are you how are you infiltrating the house?

[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I guess is what I'm asking is.

[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm looking out for cameras on the house because they're always watching with technical skills.

[01:19:23] [SPEAKER_08]: I could try doing an infiltration check.

[01:19:30] [SPEAKER_08]: I could also do electronic surveillance to see if I see any cameras.

[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_09]: Gotcha.

[01:19:40] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so you have electronics infiltration or you have that electronics.

[01:19:47] [SPEAKER_09]: Both of you guys see that there are no cameras on this house.

[01:19:55] [SPEAKER_09]: Like where there should be or even where there shouldn't be.

[01:20:00] [SPEAKER_09]: That doesn't seem right.

[01:20:01] [SPEAKER_09]: They're always watching.

[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_09]: Maybe that they don't believe that they need to be.

[01:20:12] [SPEAKER_09]: Or the Internet so bad out here can never get out.

[01:20:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, the Internet in sports is pretty bad.

[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Like it's it's it's it's it's fluctuates.

[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah, there's no cameras from what you can tell with a that's just a free without spending like there's nothing there.

[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And you want to spend a point on your of mechanics to get to get to the locker?

[01:20:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Sure.

[01:20:40] [SPEAKER_08]: It would actually be infiltration though.

[01:20:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, infiltration.

[01:20:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Sorry, that's what I meant.

[01:20:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_08]: So I'll spend a point on infiltration and make a roll.

[01:20:48] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, that's a six.

[01:20:50] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, yeah.

[01:20:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Front or back door?

[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Back door.

[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, so you go through those like there's like underneath those massive windows, there is like a kind of a ground level like because it's like the house is kind of like on the back.

[01:21:07] [SPEAKER_07]: There's kind of like it's on the hill.

[01:21:08] [SPEAKER_07]: So there's like the basement kind of goes into the hill.

[01:21:13] [SPEAKER_07]: And you you open you you managed to get through the the back the back door that way.

[01:21:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Did I manage to get any pictures of what where I would expect certain rooms are?

[01:21:26] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, we'll say that.

[01:21:29] [SPEAKER_07]: So like up top where like those big windows were it's basically like a kind of a dining like dining room living room open concept and then like there's a kitchen.

[01:21:38] [SPEAKER_07]: When you're going around the house, it looks like on the other side is where like there's probably like bedrooms and such.

[01:21:44] [SPEAKER_07]: And the basement that you're kind of going into right now also has some windows underneath like a porch area.

[01:21:52] [SPEAKER_07]: There are there's like a kind of like a like a sports den, you would say you call it I guess.

[01:22:00] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, so what I think we should do is try to find Tedman's room.

[01:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: How many kids do they have?

[01:22:11] [SPEAKER_07]: So the Collins is because I am terrible GM and didn't give you guys all the information.

[01:22:18] [SPEAKER_07]: The Collins is have the doctor Collins, his wife, and they have five kids.

[01:22:27] [SPEAKER_09]: Jesus.

[01:22:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It takes a bit to find the room.

[01:22:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, I'll keep an eye out for that room, but I'm also keeping an eye out for any, you know, cartel drug paraphernalia stuff like that, you know.

[01:22:46] [SPEAKER_07]: As you as you get inside, like to the basement and stuff, there's a hallway that you have to take to like out of the main room to go to the stairwell.

[01:22:55] [SPEAKER_07]: You do notice that this hallway is just lined with graduation hats.

[01:23:04] [SPEAKER_09]: With placards under them.

[01:23:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Like how many graduation hats are we talking here?

[01:23:11] [SPEAKER_09]: Dozens.

[01:23:13] [SPEAKER_09]: All right, I'll take pictures.

[01:23:15] [SPEAKER_09]: OK, because you want to be in and out quickly.

[01:23:18] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep, fair enough.

[01:23:22] [SPEAKER_09]: And then if you're not doing anything with that, you go aside from taking the pictures.

[01:23:27] [SPEAKER_07]: You you go up the stairs to a to the open concept area, but on the other on the one side of the house is an open concept like area.

[01:23:37] [SPEAKER_07]: And then there's a hallway that goes down the middle of the house where on the front of the building where the driveway is.

[01:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: That's where all the the bedrooms are.

[01:23:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Holy shit.

[01:23:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Are these bedrooms packed with things?

[01:23:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Like not like hoarder style where it's just like a whole mess, but like the there are just like a collectic.

[01:24:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Like densely collected paraphernalia and and like like CDs, eight tracks, cassettes, vinyls, books, comics.

[01:24:19] [SPEAKER_07]: There's posters of various kinds.

[01:24:21] [SPEAKER_09]: And there's also no beds in the bedrooms.

[01:24:29] [SPEAKER_08]: OK, I'm going to keep snapping pictures.

[01:24:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, like one of the bedrooms has like is clearly like a girl's room.

[01:24:37] [SPEAKER_07]: Like it has like pop stuff, but like pop stuff from like across the decades, like prolifically across the decades.

[01:24:47] [SPEAKER_07]: There's one that is just a library of books and stuff like that with a with a reading chair.

[01:24:53] [SPEAKER_07]: There's one that's like a trappers house, a trappers room.

[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Like there's like antlers on the walls and like skins of animals on the like on the on the ground and on the walls and and what have you.

[01:25:08] [SPEAKER_07]: And then like there seems to be a locked larger room or like like you probably assume it's the parents room is locked.

[01:25:13] [SPEAKER_07]: And at the end of the hallway, there is what looks like a boys room.

[01:25:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Which is just packed with all manner of books, but also like various types of various types of like music in different types of media from analog to digital.

[01:25:35] [SPEAKER_09]: All right, Marvin, I think this is the room.

[01:25:37] [SPEAKER_09]: Let's look for a diary.

[01:25:41] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep, I'll search.

[01:25:42] [SPEAKER_09]: OK, you're searching around.

[01:25:46] [SPEAKER_09]: I do want to point out I have a notice of two.

[01:25:49] [SPEAKER_09]: So OK, you do find a laptop.

[01:25:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I also have a notice of two.

[01:25:55] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, yeah, yeah.

[01:25:56] [SPEAKER_07]: With your with your notice of two, you guys find the laptop.

[01:25:58] [SPEAKER_07]: You find a laptop by one of the there.

[01:26:01] [SPEAKER_07]: It looks like there's two chairs in this one in this room and one of them has a laptop.

[01:26:06] [SPEAKER_07]: So all right.

[01:26:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I steal the laptop.

[01:26:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Fair enough.

[01:26:14] [SPEAKER_07]: As also as you guys were like going down the hallway and stuff like that, this wall doesn't have the graduation hats.

[01:26:21] [SPEAKER_07]: It has paintings like you saw from in the open concept room on the other side of the wall.

[01:26:28] [SPEAKER_07]: And they're paintings of that fit the description of the kids and like the people that you were you were told about like these Collins is.

[01:26:36] [SPEAKER_07]: There is not a goddamn single photograph of these people in their house.

[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_07]: They are all oil paints.

[01:26:46] [SPEAKER_07]: They're all oil paintings.

[01:26:48] [SPEAKER_09]: Well, again, snap as many pictures as I can.

[01:26:52] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.

[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll be reading the plaques underneath the paintings.

[01:26:57] [SPEAKER_07]: OK, yeah, it says there's there's one of a woman and a man and it's Carl and Emma.

[01:27:08] [SPEAKER_09]: Collins 1912.

[01:27:18] [SPEAKER_07]: The next one is of a of a of a kind of a teen girl, probably like 1819 and it's Garnet.

[01:27:31] [SPEAKER_09]: 1962.

[01:27:34] [SPEAKER_09]: There is another one of another girl red flowing hair.

[01:27:38] [SPEAKER_07]: The previous one had like short cropped brown hair.

[01:27:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Rosario.

[01:27:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Sorry, sorry.

[01:27:45] [SPEAKER_07]: This one's of a boy.

[01:27:48] [SPEAKER_07]: With flowing long hair, Rosario 1975.

[01:27:53] [SPEAKER_07]: And then there's one of another lanky pale guy, probably is 18 with wild brown hair.

[01:28:04] [SPEAKER_09]: Tedmond 1922.

[01:28:07] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's kind of like the that's kind of the gist of what you're getting on these paintings is like they they seem to be of the Collins is with really weird dates on them on the paintings.

[01:28:19] [SPEAKER_08]: I can just assume a very strong family resemblance.

[01:28:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Sure. Yeah.

[01:28:25] [SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, you.

[01:28:28] [SPEAKER_07]: You get more you aside from that.

[01:28:30] [SPEAKER_07]: That's about all you find in the house.

[01:28:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Otherwise, it's pretty clean home.

[01:28:35] [SPEAKER_07]: There is no with your roles.

[01:28:37] [SPEAKER_07]: So that you're looking around.

[01:28:38] [SPEAKER_07]: There's no signs of like drug paraphernalia or cartel information at all.

[01:28:43] [SPEAKER_04]: None of the hallmarks know, you know, hold out weapons here and there.

[01:28:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I would know what to look for.

[01:28:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[01:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[01:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[01:28:50] [SPEAKER_07]: For like like stashes like easy like those things where you push on the thing and something pops up and yeah, I get you as your you go down to the you go down to the basement where those with that Hall of graduation hats are.

[01:29:06] [SPEAKER_07]: And they start from like early 80s.

[01:29:11] [SPEAKER_07]: And then they skip a couple.

[01:29:12] [SPEAKER_07]: They skip about 10.

[01:29:13] [SPEAKER_07]: They skip about 10 years.

[01:29:16] [SPEAKER_07]: And then they start up again.

[01:29:18] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no, sorry.

[01:29:18] [SPEAKER_07]: They go about like the 60s or 50s is when they started and then they skip about 10 years and then they go into the 80s and then they skip another 10 years.

[01:29:26] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's now or and like the it looks like some of these are from it looks like some of these are from a local that the local school from like 50 the earlier ones.

[01:29:38] [SPEAKER_07]: And then there's some graduation hats here that are not from this school, but from somewhere in Alaska.

[01:29:43] [SPEAKER_07]: And with your you have trade craft, I assume.

[01:29:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Right.

[01:29:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[01:29:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Also Brownie.

[01:29:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Do you have to guess?

[01:29:49] [SPEAKER_07]: One.

[01:29:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[01:29:54] [SPEAKER_07]: You see, yeah, you would guess like if there were they might use they might hide.

[01:29:59] [SPEAKER_07]: They might hide the like either like a safe or something that behind something like either one of the paintings or the graduation hats or something like that with your trade graph.

[01:30:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Gently probe so as trying not to knock anything down.

[01:30:14] Okay.

[01:30:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you get to the end of the hallway down the basement where the graduation hats are.

[01:30:20] [SPEAKER_07]: And you feel something like there's something different in behind the last graduation hat which is of Edmund from 1982.

[01:30:32] [SPEAKER_07]: In a town and like it says the the school it says it's from is Katsubo or Katsubo high school.

[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a delightful orange satin hat, isn't it?

[01:30:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[01:30:48] [SPEAKER_07]: And you pull up you do do lift it up from where it is.

[01:30:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[01:30:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[01:30:53] [SPEAKER_07]: There is a little keypad underneath the underneath the hatch.

[01:31:02] Hmm.

[01:31:05] [SPEAKER_04]: On marks no smudges.

[01:31:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[01:31:08] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's it's clean.

[01:31:10] [SPEAKER_07]: There's there's no smudges.

[01:31:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Black light from my pocket anything.

[01:31:14] [SPEAKER_07]: There is some like okay.

[01:31:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you see there's a couple of digits of like have like some smudging on there or like there's some signs of like residue.

[01:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Assuming a four digit code I quickly run through all all the combos of those four digits hopefully until it opens.

[01:31:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[01:31:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, after about five minutes there is a code that the accesses and the the wall at the end of the hallway that you're at clicks and a seamless an almost seamless like door opens up.

[01:31:49] [SPEAKER_07]: And there are stairs that go down this serial killer shit right here.

[01:31:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And because I know we have time constraints today that might be a good place to cut it.

[01:31:57] [SPEAKER_07]: I was thinking the same thing.

[01:31:58] [SPEAKER_07]: That that seems like a good space like what's down the rabbit hole tune in next time listeners.

[01:32:05] [SPEAKER_03]: The quite literal rabbit hole.

[01:32:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Teenagers get bludgeoned to death in a parking lot of Pasco.

[01:32:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Apparently it's a 40 year old man did.

[01:32:18] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.

[01:32:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, we'll call for tonight or for this morning and we'll have to I guess finish up next time next next week or when is when when's available.

[01:32:31] [SPEAKER_07]: So comments questions, how do you guys like it so far?

[01:32:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, this is great.

[01:32:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[01:32:37] [SPEAKER_06]: That's very interesting.

[01:32:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Have a good time.

[01:32:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, run into the woods chasing a wolf.

[01:32:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Have a good time.

[01:32:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Not chasing following there's a difference.

[01:32:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I think I think Joe's chasing you.

[01:32:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you're following the wolf.

[01:32:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I enjoyed the definitely enjoyed the forest scene there with that.

[01:32:58] [SPEAKER_00]: The banter going on there.

[01:33:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[01:33:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm I'm liking where it's going.

[01:33:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Like I'm kind of just like diving into this and I have notes and I'm just kind of improv a little bit as it goes to have like build the story so I think it's working pretty well.

[01:33:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Cool. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

[01:33:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Indeed. And with that, I have to run.

[01:33:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, loving every minute man.

[01:33:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm going to see you later.

[01:33:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And I guess yeah with that I guess we will if there's nothing else to be said before we tell the bot to leave.

[01:33:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, let's boot the bot.

[01:33:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Indeed.

[01:33:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Have a good one Internet.

[01:33:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Take care. Sleep well.

[01:33:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
