[00:00:01] Well, I should probably recap what we did last game.

[00:00:25] So, last time on Poketopia 1911. Your characters were building up the ranch and the automatons and collecting wild Pokemon for the ranch. Meanwhile, Joe was ranching, as he always does. Dashforth was exploring the caves and found a leaf stone. Spelunking, please.

[00:00:56] And Conlon was clearing out bugs in the hills to the north of the valley. Oh, you panties. You guys are great for upping Firo's attack. It is now a new day. By the way, we found a leaf stone. So much for that tournament. And I still have to beat that savage for it. Mm-hmm. What the hell am I gonna do with a leaf stone? I don't need one.

[00:01:26] Maybe we should just sell it. Oh, no, no. Now, you can give it to d*** and d*** can give it... Say, have your stupid leaf stone. I don't want it anymore. I don't need it anymore. She's never gonna join the party at this race. No. Well, if you want, I can write comments since it wasn't actually technically on audio. That you didn't find a leaf stone. That you found more gold or something. Would that be better? Or a different stone. Okay. A moonstone.

[00:01:57] Here, fine. I'll do a list and then have a percentile to it or something. Oh, how it isn't. You find a shiny. Well, how much is the leaf stone normally worth? How much was it worth? It's not a leaf stone anymore. You found a copper light. How much is it normally worth anyway? It's fossilized poo. How much is it normally worth anyway? Just answer the goddamn question. A leaf stone? I don't fucking know. Yeah. Give me a few seconds.

[00:02:27] Okay. Then I'll put it into my notes. I have the equivalent for gold. Like how much gold costs now. Like, in terms of transferring from GP to ounces to pounds to, you know, their currency. Uh, fuck. Depends on which game. Fuck. Oh, damn. Imagine we'd go by the current price, wouldn't we? Because we're going by current stats. Yeah. True. Okay. It's 5,000 Poké Box.

[00:02:58] So... Sweet. Okay, so that much in gold. You get a car! I could get the most expensive car on the market. I would be so happy. And I'd still have a thousand left over. How did we determine price for the TM? Oh... I don't know if I know. The power, like the attack power divided by what, 10 for a dollar? I don't know man, that was all you guys. Fuck. You never shared that information with me. Alright, hold on. Something we should do.

[00:03:28] I did that. Yep. Uh, yeah, I think we're going power divided by 10. Because I think dig would have cost 8 bucks. I think is how we were gonna run that. So, hold on a second here. I just gotta figure my shit out. You would have found 20 bucks. Really? Yep. Okay. I'd rather just have a different kind of stone.

[00:03:57] 20 bucks is not much. Nope. That's about what a stone costs though. Okay. Alright, so you found $20 of gold. Man, Pokebugs aren't worth much are they? No. Well, it's like yen or uh... It's like the Japanese yen, right? Yeah, well I mean... Fucking uh... Like a... The TM for dig is 2,000 Pokebucks, but a Pokeball is only 200. So... And that's like the cheapest thing you can buy. Yeah. Is a fucking Pokeball.

[00:04:26] No, no wait. An antidote is 100 Pokebucks. Hmm. It's going by red and blue. Yeah. So, that's what our... The great Baron Dashforth has recovered from the caves. Um... 20 dollars. 20 dollars worth of gold. With the meaning, box. Crystal or bin. That's so lame. And now you're gonna start getting stuck by a very tall man without a face. It's like, give me 20 dollars, give me 20 dollars.

[00:04:57] Ugh. Anyway, um... You and your Slender Man. Yes. Um, so you guys are uh... You guys called it the night after that. After all that stuff. Um... And uh, you wake up to a rainstorm. Rainstorm? Yup. You sunny day. You sunny day! Sunny, sunny, sunny day. Aw, one of the milk tanks has that. It means you have to go outside. Shouldn't all of them have it?

[00:05:27] Both of them. We have two. Yeah. Oh, I thought we had more. No, I think we have multiple Mareeps and multiple Splanks. We only have two uh... Well thanks. We might have three. Hold on. Check, consult the great automaton list. We shall check, consult the Google Drive. Two. One male, one female.

[00:05:56] Three Mareeps and three Spoinks. Why we have that many Mareeps, I don't know. Because all we're doing is like eating them and shearing them. That's why we're eating them. Never mind. For some reason I was thinking this was like Minecraft and not the real world where we can eat shit. Fucking Minecraft and not getting lamb chops. You can probably mod it to do that. Probably. Oh wait, use the 360 version.

[00:06:26] Yeah, I got PC. Oh really? Yeah. Eric's head. Excellent. So you can get the uh, the Fallout version? It doesn't run very well on my laptop because my laptop is kinda old. Alright Joe, to be fair... It doesn't run on my laptop. At all. No. To be fair, Minecraft is very poorly coded. It doesn't run well on the best of PCs. Okay. So... Alright.

[00:06:55] I just, like I noticed the 360 version runs really well so... Yeah, that's because they basically rebuild the game from the ground up for it. They did the same with the mobile version. They need to fucking do that for PC. Gonna make that shit work. Well... Can't just start bitching at me every time a new iMac comes out. Well, it used to be worse. Bitch then you're slick. But yeah, it used to be worse.

[00:07:23] They optimize it more and more each time they pop up. Okay, so what the fuck's going on? Like I said, it's raining. It's raining? Miles is supposed to use Sunny Day. This is a downpour. Alright. Aren't his Pokemon... It's not even worth it because if our DM wants it to fucking rain, Sunny Day's not gonna work. No, no, no. No, do it. It'll work for five turns. You have them alternate. You have two little things. You have two little things.

[00:07:53] You have two little things. You have two little things. We need some down porridge anyway. Because I gotta go into town and buy some seeds. So I'm going into towns. So we're finally starting to have him do something. I'm going to go get some fucking berry seeds and some apricot seeds. Hopefully some apricot seeds. If I can't get them, then I'm going to go hunting in the fun of my own town. Well, here's my way of wet. Here, get this. Converted into cash.

[00:08:24] But... Yeah, let's go. Here, take this. I'm gonna go outside, get wet with a thunderstorm, just to make it a sunny day. Okay. So you're running through the mud and the rain and it's just downpouring. I'll just get a different kind of stone then. Whatever. You get to your mill tank and you have a do sunny day? Yes. Alright. It does sunny day.

[00:08:51] There is now a pocket of sun of clear sky around the rest of the area is rainstorm. No, no. It works for a battle area. So you gotta consider... So it's even smaller. No, no. You gotta consider it would be a fairly large area. Yeah, it's your property. Because you gotta base it out. Okay, that's fine. Your property is sunny and the rest of the world is raining around you. It's fine. It can be sunny on our ranch. Yeah. There is a hole in the middle of the storm.

[00:09:24] So your trip to town may not be very pleasant. Man, we should turn our ranch into a dude ranch. That was... That was... That was mentioned... I've been saying this all the time. We could have a slogan like... Bitch, it never rains here. Dude. That's one of the things that I was dying of laughter in the third session because that's... It's like... We just... We just smash that crystal against the cave wall and walk away.

[00:09:53] The miners at the next day just like open up the mine. It's like, dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Like I said, I was dying within five minutes.

[00:10:15] Look what you did. You killed him. For those listening, I reduced them to tears by bringing up a moment from one of the third sessions. The cave. Dude. Dude.

[00:10:51] You guys actually do that. It was on the table. I think you've never supposed to refer to that which was like, you guys just like... You guys just like hit the wall of the tunnel and just run as a flood of geodons. You're like, we're reading toward your... Oh my god. Dude. Dude.

[00:11:30] Poor fucking miners. I forgot about that. You saw what I until I heard that episode. That session. You need to listen to that session, dude. It's like non-stop. And us just constantly talking. Okay. Because that session is like pure. Like from start to finish, there's no down time. It's all laughs. It's all like ridiculous laughs. Oh, nice.

[00:12:01] Fuck. Okay. That hurts. But I'm better now. I know. I know. What the fuck was I looking at? Geodudes. Dude. Dude. Dude. We are reduced. This session brought to you by a dude ranch. Where's my car?

[00:12:30] That's a dude. What's your favorite? Baby Dashboard is asking. I was gonna start talking about the subway. I got to tell you. Oh my god. Okay. This is a fly part. My car. The answer is we should have had a dude ranch to begin with and you'd have a car by now. I've been suggesting it the whole time. Totally worth it.

[00:12:59] I don't want a Geodude spawner. Well, an actual dude ranch would be a good idea though. Yeah. We have prime territory for it. We really do. The more we clear because we're gonna be planting and shit, the better we're gonna get. And it's all automated because we're making Pokemon do the work. It's training. Yeah. Training. Training them for the betterment of society. We'll get a bunch of Diglets to run it.

[00:13:30] Remember having a crowd life. That's the one that you guys have. That's one of the ones that I caught. Okay. What was it given to me? It was giving me the ranch. Yeah, the ranch. It's a ranch property. So it's one that I should transfer to a... Probably. There's two then. There's a male and a female. They're both pretty much the same level in stats. They just have... I think the difference is the... Yeah, anyway, I'm having abilities. That's what I was doing. I was doing. It is a crappy, mucky walk. This is the female one.

[00:14:00] It's both three hours that walk. Sorry, that's the male one. That's the male one. Through these... The female one is bolt, which is on the back. ...the mud and just wet woods. But you get back into town. You don't have ability. And... Not yet. One thing you notice on your way into town... That's true. That one of the houses has been burnt down. One of the houses in town is burnt down? Yep. On the way in. Just something you notice. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Um... There's people looking into it, but otherwise it's...

[00:14:28] Your regular day in the rainy town of Anyox. It's just like salt in the wounds. Your house burns down and then it starts raining. Yep. But rain isn't salt in the... So you're going to the... What were you going to town for? We're near the ocean and we are. Hmm? What were you going to town for? I'm going to get... The water that runs up to us is part of an ocean... Seeds. Ah, seeds. So you'll be going to the Yiggs Fortune. Trade shop. Trade store. Sure. Yep.

[00:14:56] And Bishop is there at the E.A.'s counter. Ah, Mr. Grable Jacks! How can I help you today? It's fine. I need a... Seed. Ah, alright. What kind of seeds are you looking for? Bairy seeds. And Apricot seeds. Okay. I think I have some stock of that. Apricorn seeds? Apricorn. Starting off. To make Pokeballs. I said Apricot. Did I? Yep.

[00:15:27] I don't know why I'd say that because I don't pronounce Apricot Apricot. That's what came out. No, I think you're fucking with me. He isn't. I heard it too. You shut your horn out of my mouth. Left. Yes. Left. It's all about the left. Because if you go far enough left, you end up right. I will fucking cut you. So why not just go right then? Let's not even start that shit today.

[00:15:58] But, going left is a shortcut. How is it? It takes longer. That doesn't make any damn sense. To begin with. How much would like, uh, like the tree seeds or whatever be possible? If there's a shortcut, then it would be the shorter route, wouldn't it? No, no, see, what you're doing is a scenic route. Sorry, what? You're buying in bulk, I take it, right? Or like a bag of seeds? A bag of seeds or something like that? Yeah. For the berries and stuff like that? Yeah. Now, the thing is, in this game, they like to do it as fucking trees.

[00:16:27] I think we should do it as bushes, because berries typically don't grow on trees. Yeah, exactly, yeah. That's how I was thinking of it. Okay, cool. Um. Two bucks a bag? They are seeds. Yeah, you're gonna do them by bag, yeah, okay. You're not gonna sell, yeah. I'll go two bucks, I won't fucking argue DM on that and try and fucking find a better deal. Yeah. Because I don't think I'm gonna get one. No.

[00:16:57] Because, again, this town isn't exactly, you know, it's a mining town, not a ranch town. You guys are probably one of the few ranches in town. No, I'm not gonna argue it. I think two bucks a bag is a pretty fucking sweet deal. Yeah, that's for the berries. For seeds, for apricorn seeds, they're actually more like a tree, aren't they? Apricorn? Uh, I'd imagine. So, how much would like... How much are trees now? Like how much would it cost for like a, for tree, for like, the seeds of a tree or something?

[00:17:26] Or it'd be the same thing, I guess, right? It probably wouldn't be all that much. Alright. I'm gonna say for the seed... What, do you want apricorn? Yeah. Yeah. Well, I would assume that my apricorn seed would actually be an apricorn. Okay, yeah. Yeah, that actually makes sense, yeah. And then I'll just, I'll pull up apricorn prices. Okay, go for it. Because I'm sure they've got a sell price, and if they have a sell price, then I can double it for their fucking buy price.

[00:17:58] I mean, logic. It's something. Pokemon mad science. Left. You're gonna get fucking crap, Miles, I'm telling you. You are pushing your fucking locks there. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude too hard and you might get gravelly. I'll show you gravelly.

[00:18:27] That is a terrible, terrible pun. Yes, it is. Blue apricorn. Okay, so apricorns. So that's in gold? Sell for... Got to start playing that game. 100 Pokebucks, so they could be technically bought for 200 Pokebucks. Now, the way we've got this figured out is very poor. Yeah.

[00:18:56] Because it's gonna give us a fucked up ratio of fucking Pokebucks to actual dollars. Yeah. Because currently, 2,000 Pokebucks is 8 bucks. Wow. Granted, that's 1911 bucks. Yeah. So it is a lot more. Hold on. Mm-hmm. Again, it's something, it's like a transition song from the games.

[00:19:28] Okay, so every dollar is worth 250 Pokebucks. So I would say I'd be buying these for a buck each. Okay. Apricorns. I'm actually paying a little more then, but that works out to a fairly solid... Okay, from now on, prices in Pokebucks are 250 to a buck. I'm writing that down right now. Yes. Wow, what is it? So what is it?

[00:19:56] 250 Pokebucks equals one real dollar. Okay. Now I suppose you could divide that further... I guess I need to remove the Pokebucks symbol from my character sheet. Yeah. Or it gets a race oversteck. Wait, I had that in the game? Sure. I had that? Okay, so 2.5 Pokebucks is a penny. Okay. That makes sense. So we could actually do sense and shit.

[00:20:28] Meh. Set up. Yeah, because my list is slowly growing. First I had just mining info, like the gold. Now I have mining info, trade info, or trades info. Yep. Oh, the nigger cat's under the table. The weird thing is that it's not even black. Nope. But his name is phonetically the same.

[00:20:58] And he comes to it. Alright, so how many... That's why I call him that. So how many Icaricorns were you looking for? I would like to get one of each. Okay. Actually, you know what? I think I'm going to get two of each. Yeah. Yep. Alright, we'll call it three of each. That's $21. Well, they aren't really in demand, so here you go. He pulls out like a giant crate onto the counter. But if they're not in demand, wouldn't it be a special order? He just had them.

[00:21:29] Alright. Don't argue it. I'm trying to be nice, alright? I want this game to flow. Alright. And uh... Chloe, you need to play some smooth jazz. Okay, hold on. Because this uh... I don't know which berries I'm getting because there are currently... I'm going to say that the... You get the bag...

[00:21:56] I'm going to say that you get the bag and they'd be like a random set. I thought they'd all be the same. Okay. Like I'm buying like a bag of one type of berry. Okay. Then that you might want to... I might have you roll to see if he has them available. Okay. See? You know, I think I will have you roll for like... what colored hippocorns he has in that crate. He's changing his initial decision. Oh god damn it.

[00:22:27] This is all your fault Miles. It's all your fault. I'm saying left. Chris is to the left of me. Alright, you guys need to switch spots. So crystal change is mindless. No, I think I'm good on this one. Because I don't need to get all of these berries. Um... Just some of them. So uh, did you uh... Did you hear what I said earlier about the apricorns? Um, the colors, uh... Depending on what colors you want, um...

[00:22:55] I'm gonna have you roll a percentile to see if they're in the crate. No, you already gave me a fucking... No, no, no, no, no, no. Keep in mind, you're giving me a fucking crate of these. So I better walk away with at least four types. You can do that. Or you will be kicked squarely in the junk. Alright. Um, for the berries there's six types I want. Okay. Um...

[00:23:24] No, seven. Okay. Or is it seven? Might be eight. Um... Well, I'm thinking having the ones that heal Pokemon and heal poisoning would be very helpful. Yes. So that would be eight types of berries. Um, okay. What kind of percentile am I rolling here? Um, roll percentile and then like um...

[00:23:53] Miles, can you hit me with the dice box? And which one... What types are you looking for for the uh... Um, for the berries I'm looking for... Um... Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qua-lot, Hondu, Greppa, Tomato. It's not spelt tomato, it's Tam-Ado. Yeah. Like not tomato, Tam-A-Toe. But... They're not even trying anymore.

[00:24:23] And I also want Oran and Pecha. Pecha? Okay. Yeah. Um, how many are those? There's eight. Eight? Eight types. Okay. Now that's of a possible 54. Yeah. I was almost saying like roll a D8 a couple of times and see... I have that, but it makes no sense. Hmm. Cause I don't want to just give you ult. Hmm.

[00:24:55] Okay. Well here's an idea. Get a pen and paper ready. What percentage of the possibility of what he can carry should he have? What percentile of the possible... What? Of the total like 54. Yeah. What percentage of that should he have in stock? I'd say probably about 45%. 45? Yeah. Okay.

[00:25:26] Well... Okay, again. It is a mining town. I'll make 25 rolls. Okay. And any duplicates will re-roll. Yeah. Okay. So I gotta roll... I gotta just keep an eye on the... Yeah. I'm gonna give you a whole bunch of numbers. Alright. 53, 10, 30, 21, 42, 48, 42. I just said 42, didn't I? Yep. Okay. 53. 53? You already did that one. Did I?

[00:25:56] Yep. Okay. 18, 54, 38, 17. Okay. How many numbers is that? 10. 10? 44? 40? 31? 31? 31? Okay. 13? Yep. 14? Profession Rancher. 37? That's it? 26?

[00:26:26] Okay. How many numbers is that? Oh, no craft skill. Damn it. Okay. Well, it's... It's... It wasn't needed at the time. 17. Well, no, no, it really wasn't. 18? Uh... Well, to be fair, at the time we started off with something extremely basic. Oh, yeah, 18's already done. 36? In fact, I even have that. 36? 36. Basic sheet right here. Okay. 14? Really? Okay, how many are we got that one? How long since it got rid of mine.

[00:26:56] 46? That one's already done. Oh, no, I don't get it. That's the one, yeah. Nope, I don't have that. Your next explosion is rambling? Yes. 44? I've never, ever heard you ramble. Huh? How about? We need to get you stressed out. 37? Alright, how about that? Okay, how many do we have? It's actually happening at work. God damn it. You ramble at work?

[00:27:25] Beginning to? Sweet! 15. 50? Okay. 15. Oh, 15, okay. Okay, so here's what you do. We have 38. We get a voice recorder. 26. 1. As soon as you start feeling stressed out, turn it on. 4. Okay. Now we can just play it during the game. 49. 49. Now points us up to what, 22? 23? 14.

[00:27:58] 22. 12. Okay. And 34. 34. Uh, 34. Just checking, down through 4, okay. That should be 25. Yeah. That is. Okay. Um, alright, so I'm gonna get you to read those numbers back to me. Alright. I did so. Uh, was that the right amount of? There you go.

[00:28:28] Okay. No duplicates. Sweet. Okay, so now the fuckin' uh, the berries and everything are highlighted green for what's in stock. Yeah. So anything that you want is that you'd have to order. Okay. Um, okay. So. Yeah, I mean you guys can get them, it's just they're not immediate. Okay. Yeah, well I'm gonna place an order for what I can't get. Um, okay. Um, okay. Apricorns are 1 through 7. Yep.

[00:28:58] Um, how many should he have, or wait we were gonna roll a percentage to see if it was in the box. Yeah. Not how many he should have. He should have. Okay. So, um. 7 divided by 100, just to see, and then just go ahead and list which ones he had. That way. Yeah, I had an idea. It has higher quality than a Rolls Royce. And four times the price. What's that? Oh, the card that I want Baron to have.

[00:29:27] Trying to get a definite price. I'm gonna write it down so I don't have to look it up later. 95% would be good. What? 95% for what? 95% of the Apricorns. I was gonna give you 4% of which types he has. Gotcha. Yeah. 95% I suppose he has all of them. Pretty well. Because that's significantly more than, you know, what, yeah, what 6 would be for percentage. Like, say, if I was to roll 85%, like 85%, that would have been 6. Yeah.

[00:29:57] Well, 95 is significantly closer to 7 than 6. Yeah. So. All right, so I get all of my Apricorns. Yep. Yep. But I only get a few of my berries. Oh, okay. Um. I get my Petscha, my Lapas, my Pemegs, my Kelpsies, and my Grappas. So I get 5 of the types of berries I want. Yep. Um.

[00:30:25] So that's 10 bucks. I'm gonna pay him the 16 now because I want him to order the other three. What's the other ones? Um. Quaalots. Q-U-A-L-O-T. You know what, I'll highlight the ones that I'm ordering in a different color in the chart. Okay. And this is on the Pokemon file? Yep. This is all in the Pokemon file. So the ones that I'm ordering, I'm highlighting in yellow. Okay. Um.

[00:30:55] Oh, fuck. That's green, not yellow. Okay. Give me a second. Just going through it. Um. It's called Untitled right now. Oh, okay. Um. I'll change that name. So you want Quailot, Hondu, Tomato, Q-U-A-L-O-T. Yeah. Sawato. But I'm paying him 16 bucks now. Oh, how much money did we have, guys? You have, um.

[00:31:25] I don't know how much I have. A hundred, or sixteen hundred, or no. One thousand six hundred and twenty dollars of gold. Was that each? Oh no, that's the, uh, the claims. That was the claims. So okay, so you and I each had eight hundred of that. Oh. So we split it evenly, eh? Yeah. Nice. Well, because you and I got, are the ones who actually ended the money from the gold. Miles is being cut in on everything after the fact. Yeah. Um. So eight hundred even? Yeah. Yeah. It was sixteen.

[00:31:55] Sixteen, um, or, it's one thousand six hundred and twenty. Okay. Um, the twenty is actually the gold that he, or the, gold he found from the cave. Yeah. So I think I'm actually down to like. I updated whenever I was going to say something. I think I'm down to like three hundred now. So basically you converted the gold I found into seeds and berries. Yeah. Or seeds and, uh, berries and apricots. Yeah. You said it again. I did say apricot that time. Apricorns. I heard it that time.

[00:32:26] So it was just the three, right? Uh, seeds? Yeah. Hondu, tomato, and, uh, quailot. Or quailot. Oh, tomato. Yeah. Tomato, quailot, and hondu. Those are the ones I'm ordering. All the other ones I can have. Yes. Um, and apricorns. I'm buying three of each, so that's twenty one bucks. So, I'm spending thirty seven there total. Yeah. I can't burn it. Okay.

[00:32:55] I would buy a hoe, except we have ground type Pokemon. Yeah. So, there's no need for me to actually till the ground myself. Doug, it's like Diglett. I was going to say. Ho there. You could also go into the town at night and hang out at the bar. She'll find plenty of hoes there. In a mining town? Probably. A mining town with a port. That's true. Yeah. Oh yeah. Sailors and prospectors. Yup. Both them like them hoes. Yup.

[00:33:25] Alright, um... Bitches are making a mint. Right, so I'm going to have to write out new business. Alright, so instead of getting Butterfree to watch the crops, can we just send him in town and get him making us some money? Who? Butterfree. Uh, what are you... Bring him to town for what? A pimp named Bitches. Or Butterfree. What are you having him do in town though?

[00:33:56] Be a pimp. Oh. Okay. It wasn't obvious? I'm sorry. What would be a good brothel name? The Wet Goose. So the Wet... What was a Goose Pokemon? The Velvet Funhouse.

[00:34:25] Alright, the Velvet Funhouse it is. The Velvet Cloister. Yeah. Yeah, right there. That's it right there. The Velvet Cloister. We are playing a Pokemon game. Run by the sisters, Jenny and Joy. Hello, nurse. Yeah, fuck it. I don't know.

[00:34:55] They didn't have it run by Jessica and Jane. I mean... Since it's a criminal enterprise, pretty much. Yeah. Uh, it's not... I mean, it's... You know what I mean. It's an immoral enterprise. We'll call it that. There. Then we can justify using Team Rocket. I mean, it's... Not at all criminal in Canada anymore. Thank you, Stephen Harper. It's no longer illegal to get a happy ending.

[00:35:27] There. Jessica and Jane of the Velvet Cloister. Bravo. That is a thing now. Also, we did... We figured out that there's actually... There might actually be two taverns in town because... I have like a different name. I have a different like voice for like the two characters... The two bar keeps in this town. Well... And it is a mining town, so... Drunk miners.

[00:35:53] Yeah, so the Blue Lickitung and... So what's a good bar name? Or tavern name? The Roadhouse. Roadhouse. Roadhouse. Fuck it.

[00:36:24] The Roothouse. No. Roadhouse. Okay. Not everything has to have a Pokemon. Alright. That's true. I'm gonna get a meow with the name of Paul.

[00:36:53] Family Guy reference. Okay. What kind of a name... What kind of a name for a cat is Paul? That's a person's name. Yeah. Yeah. Brian. It was Mare West that did the thing about Paul. Alright, so you got your seeds? Again. Thank you, Tim Hortons, for giving me two chances to be disappointed.

[00:37:24] Well, the one I had got a free coffee. I've won a donut and that'll be the only prize I win. I always win one prize. That's never the car. No, it's not. I got a donut this year that I'll never use because I don't eat the donuts. Really? No, when I want donuts, I want more than one. I generally walk in and buy at least a half dozen. It's normally when I'm hanging out with people. Yeah. You usually get one with the coffee. I just...

[00:37:54] I don't know. I haven't been able to do that since I stopped working at Tim Hortons. And then it used to be just a coffee in an old-fashioned plane. That's the question. And then I would do the typical hop thing and dunk my donut in my coffee. You do that with anything else and it's just weird. Should I go for a runabout or a limousine? A limousine would be rather fitting, but a runabout is essentially an old sports car. It's a two-seater. Both would be suitable.

[00:38:22] Both would be ridiculous in this environment. Until this town gets built up to a proper city. That'd be fine. We've got roads. Dirt roads? This thing's got 30 horsepower. The roads in town are made... Dude, these cars were never really meant to be driven on paved roads. Yeah. Paved roads came after. Paved roads weren't a huge thing. They were kind of done because of cars. I mean, until then it was cobblestone. That's true, yeah. Which is weird considering I would imagine... A motor carriage.

[00:38:52] I imagine that riding on cobble... Like in a carriage on cobblestone would suck worse than driving in a car. Yeah, a car at least has suspension. Right. So yeah, what do you think? A runabout, which is essentially a sports car. Or... A limousine. In which case, everybody can ride and when my crew gets here, we'll have a chauffeur. Yeah. I like the... I don't know. Do we go with the runabout or the limousine?

[00:39:21] Because the limousine, we could be chauffeured around. But the runabout doesn't require a chauffeur. Hmm. Why not both? Because I can't afford both personally. Not yet. Not yet. Soon. So get the runabout first and the limousine once we have enough money for a chauffeur. Alright, so you're... I like the carting all the way. I'm high, Rao.

[00:39:52] The runabout is 2,000 bucks. So your limousine is 2,800. Borrowing or renting a... Limousine does a carriage for a cart or something. Plus a driver. Your seeds and whatnot back? Or are you getting them to do it yourself? And it's suitable for a noble. But runabout is... It's a sports car. No, just get a sack. Apricorns are only about the size of a coconut, dude. And I'm only getting 21 of them. And the bags of berries I don't imagine are big bags of berries, considering a berry is like... You know?

[00:40:20] And 2 bucks a bag, I'm probably only looking at a bag. Yeah. Exactly. Alright. So... No, I don't need a... Anything like that. Okay. So how much did we figure that was? It was 37 bucks. I already factored it into my cash. Alright. He supplies you with a sack. I would assume so. Yeah. Here's your burlap sack.

[00:40:50] Considering I did not buy his entire case. Actually, I might have at 21. No. I imagine cases would be bigger. He doesn't have very many left. Yeah, and to be fair, like... Again, like he... Nobody has really touched these things for a while, so it's not even better. Like he's... No, I was just trying to determine whether he would have given me a bag. Yeah. Because he would have given me the sack if I hadn't bought his entire case. Yeah. If I bought his entire case, he'd just tell me to take the fucking case. Yeah.

[00:41:22] Though that said, in 1911, if I was to request a sack, he would probably give me one because it would be rude, not a pig. Yeah. All that and considering the rest of the business we've done in town, we're big spenders. Yeah, we are. We're men about town. I mean shit, I spent a hundred bucks on a sign. A great stone sign. That will live on forever. Toto von Kling. Where's the actual eraser?

[00:41:52] Any of them. Right here. Excellent. We could use one on this side of the table. Alright, so um... Yeah, you're back out in the rain. You and I will share that one. Miles has easy access to Chris. Yeah, he's to the left of me. He's gonna get cut. It's never gonna stop. It's never gonna stop. That's the one who brought it up. So it's really his job. Dave, use cut. It's super effective.

[00:42:25] Miles uses ambulance. It's only super effective because Miles is a bitch. And you're blocking the exit. That and them bitch types. Miles. The bitch types is always getting... Miles uses rollout. It's super effective. Smash. Oh god.

[00:42:50] Alright, so... So your business in town is done then? I would assume so. Nope. Also, can we just like right now like figure out where... What time... Or what the date is right now for this game? Just so I have it. We started in September... In early September.

[00:43:20] Yeah, it was fall. We knew that because of a sauce book. So do we just wanna say it's like this month... Winter is coming. Yes. Yeah. Do you wanna say that it's like in October... Like early October at this point? Sure. Okay. So it is the 4th of October. Winter is coming. Brace yourselves. I think your house is insulated.

[00:43:50] Bales of tea. So what... While Conlon was in town, what has... Joe and Dashforth have been doing... In your pocket of sunlight. Well, we were discussing a joint business venture. Okay. Discuss. This will be the 3rd time we've discussed this. We've become exceedingly efficient at it.

[00:44:20] By the way, the delivery for those seeds that you want will be in about 2 weeks. 2 weeks? Let's do something else. Do we have a list of the TMs that we have? Or are they one use only? Not an official list, and they are one use only. Okay. Did we go with one use only? Yeah. Um... It's one of those situations where even though it's a book, this message will self-destruct. This book is laced with explosive runes.

[00:44:49] Self-destruct runes. Okay. I prepared explosive runes today. Bam! Your expression was perfect for that. Fuck. Ugh. Okay, so we are counting as a one use item. Yeah. They haven't invented CD-ROMs yet. I'm just trying to... Which is hilarious because in that anime, I love how that anime is like, here, here's a TM! It's a floppy disk!

[00:45:18] Oh, just ones in general. Because I think my Pokemon are the ones that don't have TMs. Yeah, the origin. Because TM's look like a fucking ball in the uh... In the game? Yeah. Yeah, in the game it's like a... Apparently it's supposed to be a CD-ROM. I can believe that except for the first game. Yeah. Because the first game in... Earthquake. It looks like a Pokeball. Yeah. But that was also because of sprites. Well, I already used my Earthquake. In X and Y it is a Pokeball. Oh, is it? It's a yellow Pokeball. Okay. On the field. Right, yeah.

[00:45:51] The Cardio is called. Because I know you got that. It's super effective. So... I actually had it written on my old Pokemon sheets wherever they went. Because I have at least one that I haven't used. Because I realized that my Onyx couldn't actually learn it at the time. Alright. Okay, so I'm going to take the berries and I'm going to go... And then the apricots and I'm heading back. And then I'm going to get the... Some of the Pokemon to help me plant them.

[00:46:20] And keep them watered and shit. Three hours later, you're back at home. Oh, that's a good question. And back... And then still... Now drenched, but you know... It's sunny on your problem. I'd be fucking... Way... What? Hold on. What? It would've been in the notes section though, right? Um, yeah. It would've been right at the bottom. Oh! That's my magic. Perfect. Hey, we're getting warmer. Yeah, before we go, I'm going to go and talk to who I need to about getting a Firestone.

[00:46:50] Uh... Um, that will be the, uh... Probably should. Okay. They're the ones I have control over. Okay. Um... Alright, uh... You go into the, uh... Their main offices, like you guys have done before. Um... You go into the... I already know their catalog. Um... It's fairly overpriced. I already knew so. Um... For the people that are ordering it from this town. Um... There's apparently a fire... There's a fire type...

[00:47:20] Uh... Because of the fire type ban. Um... Or, um... Yeah, but I'm ready to show it. It would probably be it. But it's still expensive to get it, uh... To order it from into this town. That just seems wrong. I'm kind of a good idea. It shouldn't cost any more than order it from the other town. Goddammit. Sure. Yeah. I'm doing that for nothing. Yeah. I could see... Upping the... Upping the price of them for other reasons, but not because of the fire ban. That doesn't seem right. Alright. Well, I have those two. Alright.

[00:47:49] You gotta call on those other reasons. Because they're freaking awesome. The one you've given me is pretty weak. Especially Flash Cannon. He becomes a laser snake then. No, how much more? Um, like double. Double? Yeah. Jesus Christ. Okay, fine. I'll pay the 40 bucks for it. Yeah. So when your character level's up you're gonna get like craft carved or something. Do they have them in stock or do I need to order? They do have some in stock. Sweet. Alright, cool. So that means they're... They're bolted. Bolted. Yeah. Because again... I'm actually gonna ask them while they're here if they have a...

[00:48:17] While I'm there if they have a safe area where I can use it. Um, yes. Just, uh, we have, uh, actually we've made it, we've had one custom made in the quarry nearby. Sweet. Alright, we just come this way and our, uh, security offers will, we'll escort you to the, to the evolution room. Making sure I don't, I'm not trafficking them. Yeah. Exactly. Um... Use your firestone here. You can't traffic these things. Yeah, exactly. Firetimes are illegal. Yeah. Okay. Firetimes are illegal in town. Alright.

[00:48:45] So, yeah, you get down to this, like, they literally take you down to the bottom of, like, a small, shallow quarry. Okay. And, um, they're just, like, at the, at the, uh, the root and just let you go into the middle of it and do whatever it is to you. So, yeah, I'm gonna, um, evolve Growlithe. Okay, into an Arcane? Yep. Alright. Um... Cause now, now, I can ride him home! Once you get out of city limits. No! Unregistered, dude! No, no, you're not allowed to have your, your fire Pokemon out, um, until you're out of town.

[00:49:13] Yeah, but my fire Pokemon is not, does not have fire on him. He's a dog with fur. I can understand for, say, a Ponyta or Rapidash or even a Charmander that have active flame on them to not allow them within city limits. But Growlithe or Arcanine, they're, they only have fur. They don't even breathe fire or anything. Do they still have fire attacks? Roll a diplomacy check.

[00:49:41] Whatever, I will, I will walk them to city limits and then, yeah, yeah, they're fine with you then. Yeah, they're like, it's just, their, their law is like, there's no fire attacks in town. Did you not notice the, the, the building that was, that was burned down? So? So? I'm registered. So? It's law, it's the law, it's like jaywalking. It's a bylaw. Exactly. It's like parking. I mean, if you do it, you get a ticket. Yeah. And then, it's just, it seems a little ridiculous. We can afford to get tickets.

[00:50:10] Considering that the registration I paid was for that town. Like, anyway, yeah, okay, whatever. Well, worst case scenario, just town limits. It's not that far. Yeah, no, it's not. So, yeah, it's fine. It's like. It's still, it's gonna drop the fucking duration it takes to get home. Huge. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, so there's this huge, like, he evolves and like a huge pillar of fire and whatnot, and it's all flashy and awesome. It's singed. Yeah. Well, no, no, it's, uh, it's not in an open quarry, so.

[00:50:41] Okay, so the quarry bed is singed. Yeah. Um, and, uh, then you're, uh, you catch your, put your Pokeball back, put it back in your Pokeball and they tell you all the jazz I just told you. Yeah, not within city limits. Or you'll get a ticket. We'll bend you over and give you a round of old Rusty. Question. Yes. Does this town have a newspaper? Um, it probably will soon. Cause it's starting to thrive. We should get on that. Making the newspaper? Printing press, yep. Okay.

[00:51:11] Yep. We make the news. We are. We really are. You guys need to, we're the biggest thing to say for this town. I'm gonna say, you guys probably should have your, have like, like some kind of base of operations in town then if you're gonna start doing that as well. Fuck that. Cause you're two hours out of town. No, that's fine. The town will expand to us. Exactly. We're in prime location. Where, where were those, those, uh. No, we need to call the newspaper something really, really good. Oh god, now I'm thinking like a, like where you guys live now, like within a couple

[00:51:40] years there'll be a sub, suburb that's called Totobone Greens. Totobone Estates. Yeah, Totobone Estates. Oh god. Oh, I know. I know. Totobone Heights. We will call our newspaper, The Preacher's Wife. Because nobody gossips more than The Preacher's Wife. The Anyox Preacher's Wife? Alright, I'm writing again.

[00:52:10] Pocatopia 1911. I like it but I think we can come up with something better. Preachers. News, j-journalists. Wolfix News. We're gonna make the first tabloid. I'm gonna call that The Preacher's Wife. Yes. So we'll have a tabloid and a newspaper. Yeah. So the Anyox something or, and then the, The Preacher's Wife. Hey, we can advertise our, uh, claim for free. Yeah.

[00:52:39] We'll call our newspaper. Which will become a dude ranch. Dude. Slash dog. What is it? What? What is it? We'll call our newspaper. Slash dog. I don't get that. Oh, I love how that jump up and went over Chris's head. You're kidding. Oh my god. Slash dog? What? What if we called it Reddit then? We lost him. Yeah. Holy crap, Chris.

[00:53:10] You need to internet more, sir. Yeah, seriously. I don't know. Wow. Wow! I'm gonna spend a day on a computer. I don't go on the internet most of the time when I'm at work. Dude, I work in a foundry and I know what Slash dog is. I know what Reddit is. I pour hot metal. That's what I do. Goddammit. I know what's up. Wow.

[00:53:40] Wow. I'm sorry I'm not a nerd enough, guys. It's like worldwide nerd news. Brilliant. Like that's... I've never heard of it. Like honestly, I've never... I've heard of Reddit. Slash dog covers a lot of scientific topics and a lot of current events things. So they cover like... They'll come up with things from like random countries.

[00:54:09] Like, did you know that this country is trying to do this? Or this country is, you know, impinging on net neutrality. Oh, okay. A lot of their stuff has to do with technology. So basically it's all about Russia. Yeah, there's a lot of shit about Russia these days. There's been a bunch about the Ukraine too. Yeah, well they just started yet another invasion. Yeah. I think we just need to invade Russia. Sure. Invade them first. To strike. Canada versus Russia.

[00:54:40] Yeah, that'll go for a while then. The nukes go. Hey, you know what? It's easy. We just give our entire army hockey sticks. Because the Russians always... Ah, the Canadian halberd. The Russians always roll over when it comes to hockey. Oh. It's true. It's true. Well, if we had any Russian fans, they're gone now.

[00:55:09] They'll be back. They'll be back. And in bigger numbers. All right, so what is the... That's gonna be great. What is your newspaper gonna be called aside from the Preacher's Wife? Well, we haven't even built the place yet. I know, so... I'm just putting it down for future reference. We'll sit on it. We need something really good. Yeah. For now, the Preacher's Wife. Like... The New York Times. The Antioch stuff. Then we won't have any credibility. Based out of Antioch.

[00:55:39] Yeah. Oh my God. All right, so you're home. We could recommend every single book on the planet. New York Times bestseller. Right? All right, make a ride check. Makes me sound like a fanboy for the New York Times, but every book I've read in the last three years has been a New York Times bestseller. I know, right? Oh my God. All right, so you have your Arcanine. You're getting... You get out of town.

[00:56:08] You mount your Arcanine. Roll a ride check. No need for a ride check. I'm not doing anything tricky. Point A to point B. Goddamn, fine. I'm done. Exactly. It'd be a handle Pokemon check. Ride checks are for difficult terrain and tricky maneuvers. And rain? The mud? Yes, but I'm on the back of like a dog. It's been raining like all night and day. Their paws are more sure-footed than hoofs. Yeah, seriously. So I don't see the rain being an issue.

[00:56:38] Especially considering it's hard pack road. Mud slide. There's no mud slide. We're in the mountains and it's hard pack road. You're just trying to force a check where there is no check. Fine. He loves to do that. I know he does. Because I don't feel like I'm doing my job. Normally I'll just fucking roll the dice for him, but seriously. He has 20. It's like, roll the dice, just humor him. There's gotta be a point where I go, no Chris. Enough is enough.

[00:57:08] There we go. He rolled a natural 20 on his whatever check it needed to be. Why am I playing this game? Fuck you guys. I'm going home. Okay, you're in the DM now. Good. I want to play this game. Jesus. Alright, since I'm the DM now, you two are going to fight to the death. Challenge accepted! I know what you guys are doing. There's no reason for us to fight to the death.

[00:57:37] Except that the ground drops out from underneath you. You both fall into an arena. Sweet! Happy Hunger Games bitches, fight it out! That's a terrible roll. That's a 14 hit. Alright, so you make it home. I'll make it home. Let's see. Flat-footed. I'm going to round up the ones that I need. Yeah, as you bet your ass I'm getting a preemptive strike in.

[00:58:07] Alright, rolling for damage. Did we? We... We didn't get any grass types. Alright. I'll just deck you in the face, five damage. That's weird. We don't have grass types, eh? We didn't get any for the ranch. We didn't? No, we've got... I thought we had some on the list. Apparently not. We've got... Paris. Paris.

[00:58:38] That's who it was, Paris. But we only have one. We have the male. Yeah, because we keep finding more males. Yeah, and we gave up after we caught the fucking Butterfree and the extra combi, because we just figured, eh, it's a bug type. But it's our grass type. That's what we were using it for. Yep. Right, we need another Paris. I'm going to highlight Paris in a darker green then, because... Fuck that noise. Oh no, that's the text color. Sure.

[00:59:07] So what has Joe and the Baron been doing? Weren't you paying attention? We're fighting in an arena that suddenly appeared. Apparently. Alright, well... We were discussing on potentially starting up a game. Okay. It's all about acquiring terrain and other such assets. Okay. This game happened to have something called Monopoly.

[00:59:35] It is about acquiring Monopoly, yes. As my likeness on the cover, of course. Who else? Of course. And you shall get credit for the game design itself. So you're... He seems to be quite good at it. You're planning on being the inventors of Monopoly. Yes. In a nutshell, yes. Alright.

[01:00:04] We have it all planned out. We're going to get little figurines all made up. Possibly carvings. Abortably easy. By the way, this is... In a world like this, Monopoly's probably going to tank. Are you kidding? At this point in time, there's already several different variations of the game out. But...

[01:00:32] I'm not barbecuing actual history. I'm saying that in a world of Pokemon, I know I'd rather go out and fucking battle Pokemon than sit around the house playing Monopoly. Just saying. But then there are going to be nerds. That don't want to leave the house. Some people don't want to have battles to the dead at the dinner table. I will use cut on you.

[01:01:00] And because you are a bitch type, it will be super effective. I thought you'd have to use hit for that. No, it's called slap. Well, slap also works. Note to self. Make one player Monopoly. Yes. Yeah, let's see here. So...

[01:01:30] I'll essentially be Uncle Pennybags. We'll have Growlithe on it. Steamship. Pokeball. A Top Hat, of course. I think we've got a good thing going here. Okay. Well, then I can start working on it then. There we are. And once we get enough funds, we can make it out of a printing press. That's what the tea comes. Oh. Interesting. It's a little... Oop. Gone forever.

[01:02:00] It's not being made into tea, but it's not gone forever. Now it's gone forever. That's what the tea comes as. It's a little hand-packed ball of green tea leaves. Hmm. Hmm. And then it, like, blooms in the pot. So I... I didn't think I threw in very much tea. Now looking in the pot, I'm like, wow, I threw in a fuck-able lot of tea. Cause... Now you know. That's what's left for leaves. Holy crap. Yeah. Holy crap!

[01:02:30] I didn't think I threw in very much tea. You have a whole garden in there. Right? I didn't realize how fucking tightly packed those things were. Man, I have so many things to look up now. Things to look out. Yeah, like how much a printing press cost in the 1900s. Expensive. Hey, the Ripe Brothers could do it from a bicycle shop. We can do it too.

[01:02:59] What is bitch-type effective against? Effective against? Yeah. I don't know. It's elf. It's like dragon. That's so interesting. I like it. Thank you, Miles.

[01:03:28] It's only strong against itself, but it's weak against a bunch of other types. Uh, this is the game that goes nowhere. Cause it's a rainy day. I'm going home and playing one player Monopoly. Keep on, challenge him. And win! Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba. He's actually already like drawing up the board. For you guys. He's your artist.

[01:03:58] With his blood-stained bone knife. Scrape. Scrape. Cue. Bone. Cue. Bone. Uh. Damn it, we have to teach you English. Actually, we can't since he's wild. Yeah. I know, right? Maybe if somebody caught him. Can you hand me a mountain dude? Sure. Hell no, I didn't even want him. He's following me around his own accord. Dude. Dude. Dude.

[01:04:27] Dude. I can't believe I broke the **** there. Again. I know. Seriously, we should do that. Make a dude ranch or? Yeah. Or smack that crystal against the side of the- Do it. Please. I was the one who suggested that. Yes, you were. Yeah, you were. And nobody takes my suggestion. You were- Until they realize, oh, that's freaking hilarious. Yeah. I literally listened to it, like, two days ago, and you were- You were saying, oh, I'm just gonna smack this against the wall and just run as a flood

[01:04:57] of Geodudes floods our tunnel system. Wait, that was done as a suggestion and it was taken as real? No, it wasn't. Okay. He- They want to do it though. I wanted to do it as long as we just did. I don't have any objection to it. It'll just be entertaining. I'm always giving it a shot. It'll be a- It will be a challenge for you guys. What are we gonna do with all those Geodudes? Are we actually going to ranch them properly or are we gonna have a dude ranch where they can be hunted? Oh, man!

[01:05:27] I think we need a dude ranch. Like a hunting ranch. Like I've been saying. No, like the hunting ranch. That's what I meant the whole time. Well, you already got a- We'll let them hunt dudes on our dude ranch. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude dude dude dude dude. Dude dude dude dude. Goddamn that Growlithe keeps laughing at me. Oh fuck.

[01:05:57] Dude hunt. Bull. Dude. Alright, that's what you guys are doing. Alright, so we need a catapult for Geodudes. Fucking holding Totodile by his collar and his tail. Pull! Dude. That'd be great.

[01:06:27] Man, this is getting ridiculous. If I get a, I mean God. Yeah. And his, we're taking it. Yeah, but no, if you guys want to do that, I'm all for it. Oh man. I don't know. Wow. Sorta takes us away from the whole- What are we doing? It's an open world. You guys can do- I just had the-

[01:06:57] The original premise was that you guys were prospectors in 1911. Well, we'll hang on to that idea. We'll save it for later. When shit hits the fan. Let me click, you know, a live skeet launcher. Yeah, we gotta set all the groundwork for it first. Dude. Okay, so yeah, I'm just going back and I'm planting. Okay.

[01:07:27] The Parris we have, because Parris can look after the crop. I mean, I don't really need him for planting, I just need to tell Parris that he's supposed to be looking after these plants. As well as the water types. And the butterflies. Yeah, and the butterflies. Yeah, gotta pollinate. Yeah. Oh, and the combis. Combis. And the, uh, Starlays. Okay. It'll take a little while, but I'm training them to look after the plants.

[01:07:57] While getting the ground types to actually till the ground, the water types to keep it moist, and I'm planting the seeds. Okay. And then I'm training the others to just look after the plants. Fuck, I could have Onyx help till the ground. Basically tell the Starlays the only, the only fucking bugs you let near these plants are these butterfrees. Yeah. Everyone else dies. Could I possibly till a large section of land with an earthquake? Yep.

[01:08:27] Um, no. Because it shakes it up. It would probably cause a lot more, like, aftershocks on... It might cave in your tunnel. I'm not sure that it would clear land. I mean, it would. No. But if you're not really... Not so much clear it, just till it. I wouldn't. No. Shake it up. No, cause all you're, you're shaking it, but you gotta consider that it's, the earth is kinda, as it is, kinda hard packed. Yeah. So. Alright. Alright. In that case, I'll have Onyx help.

[01:08:57] Diggs for a living. And for fun. You know who digs for living? And for travel. Dudes. Diggs. Diggs. Diggs. Diggs. Hi. Who, actually somebody has a geodude. I think one of you guys caught one of the geodudes. No. That was great. I have a job for you. No. I'll blow down the farm. I don't have a dude. And I don't think Eric has a dude. I don't have a dude. Miles doesn't have a dude. I honestly had zero interest in one.

[01:09:27] Steph wasn't with us. Well, y'all need to step one into the mines with us. No, she showed up after when we were fighting the O-Nite. Yeah. Cause all she heard was scream, it's like, oh my god! Cause you guys didn't know what it was. Initially. And she heard, and she was like just outside your cabin and she heard that from within. And, uh, fun times. Anyways. Okay, so you guys are tilling your property, getting your, uh, the farming done. Yup.

[01:09:57] Um. Yup. Uh. Okay. Okay. So what do you guys want to do while you do that? Um, well, it's nice and sunny. For now. Yes. And we're tilling. So, are the Pokemon getting experience? I know we did that in the past. Oh, did we figure that out? Uh, yeah. But I don't think we figured out how much experience.

[01:10:27] Uh. So, just say yes and we'll figure it out. I don't know. I guess we could do it based on, based on what they're doing as a level one enemy. That's what I was thinking, yeah. So that it's not really any tough thing. It gives them experience, like, it gives them some experience, but it's going to give them less and less as they get higher level. Yeah. As it should be, right? Mm-hmm. Cause, and it's going to be, remain static because. Or, it doesn't have to be a level one. We can treat it as, you know, level whatever. Yeah. But. I think initially we treated it sort of like crafting.

[01:10:58] Uh, yeah. That was how we did it. Using their, what was it? Attack. Yeah. Or special attack as in the case maybe. Mm-hmm. As their bonus. Um, I was just thinking for experience, we'd treat it as like a level one enemy. Yeah. Cause then they get experience as a level one. They get a little bit of experience, but. Yeah. And it's going to decrease. At least the more they do it, right? Yeah. As it should. Mm-hmm. Yep. Alright. So.

[01:11:30] So roll to see how effective it is. And then I guess we just use the, uh, your, the, the experience calculator. And just have it like level one. Cause it's. Well, but. No, that works out because, um, you're not, you're not dying or fainting or anything like that. So then. So you just like, you, you roll to see how well you do for like a certain amount of time. And then after that you finish. Like there's. So the, the role is basically to determine essentially how many level ones. No, no. Take out. No, no, no.

[01:11:59] No, we're doing it as a crafting check. To determine its success. Yeah. We're only using the experience calculator for how much experience you get for doing it. Because we're going to give them experience for doing these chores. Exactly. Um. But the, the question. How are we doing the crafting check? If the crafting check is successful and high and it, we're treating it as a level one Pokemon,

[01:12:24] then even if it's low and successful, it's still, there's no bonus for doing it extra. Yeah. I don't know. Um. Well, we're going to do the crafting check is. However, we're going to benefit from this in another way. We're going to do it as how many, how, how, uh, the value of what we were doing. Like if they're tilling so much ground, um, you know, how much, like we're going to give that a set value.

[01:12:53] And then the crafting check determines how much they cover in a day. Mm-hmm. So we need Chris to determine like a value for it. I don't know the joys of creating a game. Yeah. I don't know. I think he's been enjoying it. I have been enjoying it. It's been interesting actually building the mechanic for this game. Mm-hmm. Cause that kind of stuff like intrigues the hell out of me, but D&D is already built. Yeah. So, you know, what do I do? Pretty well anything I can think of to build someone's already made something simple.

[01:13:23] So I'm not really building, I'm modifying. Just don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it. I'll modify this shit out of anything. Okay. So you need me to figure out the value of what? Of the, uh... Well, basically... Of the work that needs to be done. Okay. The value of the work that needs to be done. And from the craft check we determine how much that work gets done in a day. Gotcha. Holy shit. Um... I was actually paying attention to what you said too. I wasn't just agreeing blindly. Oops.

[01:13:53] Alright, so how do I do that? Bro, I figure out the value of your shit. Uh... It's the land. So... Do you know how much land we have that hasn't been touched? So it was a crafting check plus... Hasn't been touched? Is it attack bonus or special attack bonus?

[01:14:09] You guys cleared stuff. How much? Yeah. Um... I'd say probably like... Five, six acres. Okay. And how much would you say that a person could accomplish in an hour? Like I...

[01:14:36] Say in between us, how much do you think we could accomplish in an hour? Like one person killing a square. Like square footage. Oh... Yeah. It really depends on the tools. Like properly for planting, I personally feel like I could accomplish a 30 by 30. 30 by 30? No. No, I couldn't. Because there's... Um... Because one acre is 43,560 feet. Okay. Square feet. Well, we're talking square footage. Yeah.

[01:15:06] So square footage, so... We'll be talking about for how much we can do in an hour. Yeah. Um... I think I could probably do a 15 foot square in an hour. I think at least. Yeah. A 15 foot square. I mean 15 on... 15 a side. Not, you know, seven, but whatever. You know what I mean. Mm-hmm. I guess it would be more like a four... Finally found it. Three point something. But no. Uh... I think I could do a 15 foot... 15 foot a side in an hour. Mm-hmm. So...

[01:15:36] What was, uh... What was the hourly wage for a farmhand then? Uh... Give me a second. Farmhands now. It's been kinda complicated, but... Yeah. These are the things that I'm sure they factored in in D&D that they never find out about because it's just... They give you... They just tell you the end result. They don't tell you how they came about getting it. So there was an equipment guide. Yeah, seriously. Also, I found out how much it'll cost to get a printing press.

[01:16:06] Nice. As much as a car? Actually, yes. Slightly more than a runabout. Less than a limousine. Sweet. It'll pay off in the end though. We could print... We could print novels. What a novel idea. I thought so. It could be about the Baron's adventures.

[01:16:37] In the hell dimension. Yes. You have... You have... You have... You have multiple notebooks of that. Multiple? Yeah, remember they kept coming. Oh, right. Yeah. And then when you pulled out your pocket like... And then you keep... Whenever you filled them up you put them back... Why can't I hold all these notebooks? No, no, no. How I picture it is that they keep popping out of your pocket and then you put the other ones in the other pocket. When you were finished you put them in the other pocket and then when you cut back you just start... Whoop. Whoop. Whoop. Whoop. Whoop. Whoop.

[01:17:07] And it wasn't that you had more space it's just for some reason they were... They would be... Just those books were able to fit that properly in your pocket. A limited edition run of handwritten journals. Ramblings. Well, it's not just ramblings. It's the Baron's journal of his adventures. All right, so... Yeah. Yeah, anyway. I don't know what... What's... What was a dollar then? What's it worth now?

[01:17:36] A dollar then is worth $25 now. A dollar then is worth 25 hours. I think that's what we... $25 now? I think that's what we figured it out, yeah. So then it would be safe to say that a farm hand might make 50 cents an hour. Yeah, because I was being paid... Well... Yeah. Well... All right, let's put it this way. The average wage for a person was about $500 a year. Okay. At that time period. Actually, I was actually... I was technically a farm hand. The average wage was $500 a year.

[01:18:06] Yep. Okay. So that's for the average layman. If you were really good, like say the Wright brothers, they made $5,000 a year. So... Okay, so the average person made $500 a year. Hmm. Okay, so that's 52 weeks of work because they didn't have fucking vacation time then. Mm-hmm. Um... I'm pretty sure that came after. Yeah, because they just said weekends, right? Or Sunday.

[01:18:34] Yeah, and you'd get probably 60 hours of work then, right? A week at least. Mm-hmm. Probably more like 70. Mm-hmm. Um... We'll call it 60, just to be on the safe side. Mm-hmm. There you go. Here we go. Here we go. So that's 3,000 hours... Well, 31, 20 hours a week... ...a year that you'd spend working, so... Buy that by 500.

[01:19:03] So you come up with a wage of 16 cents an hour. So each 15 by 15 would cost 16 cents. Mm-hmm. And that would be how we're factoring it. So it would be, um... Um... Your d20 value... Um... You'd have to roll and beat... We'll call it a fucking 12, because it's so menial work. And we're not trying to do any expertise in this.

[01:19:30] Against a dc12, if you succeed, then your check is, um... The difference times the dc for value in pennies. So if you beat the dc by 4, you're multiplying 4 by 12 to get your value for what was accomplished that day. Okay. More or less how crafting works in D&D. Mm-hmm.

[01:19:59] More or less. Oof. Without going and citing any exact rules, I'm gonna have to call it that. Yeah. Uh... Huh. Okay. Just regular tag. Err, no. Special tag. It doesn't matter. For which one? This is Diglett? Yep. Well...

[01:20:29] What's it Diglett's name again? Toothy! Toothy! Yeah. Oh, right. Can't tell the sea. Alright. So you're just like, Toothy! Toothy! Till! Uh, Arms and Equipment Guide. Cost of a laborer. Whether or not they have any skill whatsoever. One silver a day. Twelve plus two. One silver a day. Yep. So fourteen, so we beat it by two. I'd probably still have come about in this chain.

[01:20:55] So a total of twenty-four cents worth, so... Twenty-four cents of... yeah. An hour. How the crafting works. Yeah. It's probably a little more like that. Well, that'd be how a profession would work, I guess.

[01:21:24] Because if we're going for... the multiplier is... How much it would cost? How much it beats by its DC. Yeah. And then... The DC is... Yeah. What's it's multiplied by to find out? Well, yeah, basically you're... it says solve for blank. Mm-hmm. Like if you know how much land you're doing... Mm-hmm. You can figure out how long it's going to take you based off your check. Mm-hmm.

[01:21:52] And if you know... And then you take Pokemon into account which would just accelerate it. Well, it's the Pokemon that's making the check though. Mm-hmm. Um, and then I guess you'd multiply that by how many Pokemon are doing it. Make a blanket check for the lot of them. Can we use the check that I already did? Because I rolled for that. Hey, someone took my die out. I had an 18 on that. It's null and void now. It's left the ball. Bullshit. We were still determining... Kidding. ...how it worked out.

[01:22:23] Well, we already determined that it was a craft check plus attack, right? Yes. But we hadn't determined how it actually worked. Well, that's just for the end result. True. Oh, a Pokemon... Onyx! Cause he... Oh God! He tunnels underground. It's perfect. He goes into a blood rage, destroys half your... No, we're not gonna be a... I was actually... Wandering around underground is nice and calming for our hearts. I was getting all my...

[01:22:51] All the ground types we got for the ranch. Like our sand crews and... Yeah, but I want Onyx to do something to keep himself busy. Okay. He's not supposed to be fighting all the time. That's cool. He needs to do something nice and calm. Well, and that would... That would work towards calming him down. Exactly. Exactly my thought. Anyways. So... He doesn't have anything for crafting kill him. But, rolled an 18. His attack adds a 2 to that, so 20 total. Yeah. So whatever we figure out with all that...

[01:23:20] Is the Onyx too big for this kind of work? He's only 8 feet long. He's only 8 feet long. He's not very tall. Well, and I'm not trying to kill Rose is the thing. Right now it's just about breaking up the earth and opening it up. Yeah. I can get Sand Troost to do the actual fine work. That's true. Either way, digging underground in a line is perfectly easy for him. Yeah. Yeah, but all I'm saying is that even if he was too big... Well, yeah. It's not bad because I can get him to do the rough work while Sand Troost does the fine work.

[01:23:49] True. True enough. All he needs to do is just jump around. Yeah. Just get him to shred up a whole bunch of earth and it's good. Yeah, indeed. He's going to have to keep going over and over it because you'd assume that basically he's going to leave chunks everywhere and you need him to break up those chunks. So you'd have to just keep hitting the whole area for a while. Roll out! So... I guess the thing is... 8...

[01:24:19] So you got 20 essentially, right? So it's 8 times 12 to find the multiplier and then... Have I mentioned that math is not my forte at all? Yes, yeah. And there's another addition for the number of Pokemon helping? Uh... Yeah, we're going to multiply by how many Pokemon we're going. Okay, so... Or you could do it as adding... Like giving a static bonus per Pokemon that's helping. Like a plus 3 for each one that helps. Or plus 2 for each one that helps.

[01:24:49] Yeah. Plus 2 is standard. Yeah. So... So he beat it by 8, so with the dig that the... I think he also has a Sandshrew helping him because I want Sand... Yeah, I want the Sandshrew to get some experience. Yeah. Should the Sandshrew do a craft check to make sure he beats it to... No, because it's assisting. Yeah. But normally you roll to... Yeah, but all the... You're actually helping. Cubone is grounded. Oh, yeah, okay.

[01:25:18] So you got to beat a base on... They say base 15, but on the fucking DC's a 12. So I'd say we roll at 12 on that. So, yeah, someone... Fuck. I don't have Sandshrew's fucking stats here. Shit. We should have it written down somewhere. I have... I just didn't fill in their stats because... Time constraints. Yeah. So, let's see. How many ground types do we have working on this? We have Onyx, we have Diglett, we have... Sandshrew.

[01:25:48] Sandshrew, we have Cubone. Did you roll for Cubone? We have to roll for all of them? All the ones that are helping to make sure they beat the 12. What level was Sandshrew? Yeah. Because they don't beat the 12 and they're not really helping. Watch Cubone not help at all. Yay, you rolled 15. What level was Sandshrew? Uh, 12. Okay, I got it. So... And it's using an attack or special attack? Well, read me off all stats. Special because it's ground. 37. So...

[01:26:17] So... It doesn't matter. He'd beaten... What? So he would have gotten an 18. That's a bonus, dude. Oh, sorry. You beat it. You're adding to the... 28. 28. 8. Plus 2. Plus 13. 13 Cubone. And 18. Onyx. I figured... Okay. Oh. Someone roll a d20 for Sandshrew? 12. Alright. 12. Needed.

[01:26:45] Yeah, I'm sure with the special attack he beats it easy. And the 12 meets it right, so... No, he actually does better with standard attack. So does my Cubone. However, we're using special aren't we, so... Why? Because it's ground element? No. Yeah, but it's a physical thing. It's a physical attack, so it's normal. Well, that could look even better than that. That's a 19. It's basically digging in the earth. That's why I figured... I just... I said special if it applies based off who the fuck knows what might happen. Right? Yeah.

[01:27:17] Like, for instance, I'm kind of expecting Mareep to function kind of like a bug zapper as well. Hmm. So... You know, that would be special attack. Because a lot of the fucking bug types are flying types, so... Alright, so...

[01:27:40] Our end result is $1.92 per hour of work done. I think that check was supposed to be for the day. Oh, for the day? Yeah, I think that's how crafting checks work is by the day. So... And paying hirelings is also by the day. So it was $1.92? Yeah. 1, 9, 2, 5, 5, 16. It's $1.92. It's $1.92.

[01:28:08] So we got about $12.92 hours work for like a laborer for that. Well, it's not terrible. I mean, things are always lower for D&D because I look at things and I'm like, man... Like the fucking crafting check. I'm gonna make a sword. That might take you three days. I'm sorry, but if a fucking blacksmith sat down and fucking decided he was making one sword, he would get that sword finished. Yup. Yeah. That would be it for the end of the day, but D&D rules don't always allow that. So...

[01:28:38] The way they figure is basically if fuck-ups come along, you're gonna have to start over. So... That's alright. So we got a 180 foot a side square. Hmm. That's not bad. Not bad at all. No, it's not. You're supposed to plant trees about 12 feet apart. So... We're back down to it. I can do a row of fucking... Uh... 12 trees. Mm-hmm. Or 15 trees. You'll have your orchard.

[01:29:05] 12 feet apart, 15 trees start to end... Or end to end. And then there's... I could do 12 rows either fucking way. 12 rows of 12... Or... 12 rows of 15. No, 12 rows of... Numbers! 15 rows of 15. There we go. Yeah, that's it. I could add 15 rows of 15 and I'm only planting 21. And then the rest is bushes. So... They can go in between, right?

[01:29:34] Well, basically for bushes what you do is you kind of plant like a section. And then... Or you plant a line. That's the best way to farm them. You plant a fucking line of them and then the bushes grow up as one like hedgerow. Yeah. Um... But I'm only planting... What? Six rows? I think it's six. I think. I think. Pachal, Lepa, five. So how many... How many do you have? Did we use?

[01:30:04] We use... One, two, four. We got Pachals, Lepas, Pomegs, Kelpsies, and Grepas. Cause... Diglett, Santru... Doesn't have any experience to resist the level of... Well, he does get experience, he just doesn't level up. How many berries are you seeing in a bag? Oh, fuck. Um...

[01:30:34] Like... I said berries about... You said berries about... Yeah, eight big and... And about a... So... Probably about... Ten berries? Probably about that, yeah. Okay. So we can make... We can make rows that are... Ten berries, one berry, twenty feet long... Ish. Twenty-ish feet long. About about two feet between each berry in a row. So... So about twenty foot long rows of each berry. So, uh... He gets two experience. What? Apparently.

[01:31:03] Yeah, cause it's against a level one. It's a level one of the... Um... Uh, and there's four Pokemon in there. I don't know, maybe you should base that off the hours they work. Okay, so... Like, each... Each hour they work is a level one. Okay, so... Uh... Twelve level ones? Or give them their experience based off how many hours they worked. So it'd be like a horde mode. So that would be, what, twenty-four experience then? Yeah, but I mean, if they...

[01:31:32] If you based it off the hours they worked, you'd call it an enemy of blank hours. A blank level. Oh, okay. So, like, if they worked for... They did, what, twelve hours worth of work, we determined? That would be a level twelve enemy. I'm okay with that. No, granted, that's a level twelve enemy split four ways. Yeah. But that's still... But it's still more experience than defeating twelve level ones. I had a 257 experience. Each? Uh, well, for Onyx. I'm going by level.

[01:32:02] Okay, but you divided... You divided it by four? Yeah, four Pokemon in the battle, and then level of defeated Pokemon was twelve. Cool. Alright. Alright, so, who's the next Pokemon that's on the roster for level? So... It was two... It was 257. Huh. You dinged? No, no, he just exactly doubled what he had. He has 257 currently. Nice. Alright, what's the next Pokemon that was in that roster? I'll let you do Cubone. Yeah, Cubone. It was a twelve. What was Sandru?

[01:32:31] Sandru's a twelve. Oh, so Sandru and Cubone are doing it the same. Cool. I'm just going to run an experience counter on the side, and whenever we decide to level them up... 150. ...then we have the experience to go with. 150? Yeah. 150. And then ding it, which is level 6. And we see a ding for Cubone. 300. Session 9, the session where we do numbers. The session where we hammer out rules and make shit work.

[01:33:02] Where we test out new ideas from the games into the game. It's not all killing things and eating ratatas. Skinning ratatas like rabbits. So, should we write down what we figured out with the hours being the level of the Pokemon? Yes. So you might want to write that down. Fuck. You might want to write that stuff down. There's a notebook somewhere on the shelf. It has an elastic band on the cover. It's not like an elastic band, it's like a cloth elastic.

[01:33:32] Oh, Jesus. You know the book I'm talking about, right? Okay. I'll be on the bookshelf. I'll look over here. Yeah, when it was on the bookshelf, it was nice and visible. It does not appear to be on the shelf. Fuck. Just grab me one of those random sheets then. Those ones. You got your hand on them. I'll just write the shit down on the back. There is a black notebook here. It doesn't have anything binding it. What?

[01:34:02] That's a notebook. No, it's not. Can I see that? Sure. Well, this is my notebook of random. Okay. This is where I wrote down random shit that I was thinking so that I didn't forget about it. That's handy. I actually have stuff in the Pokemon tabletop written down in here. From the early stages. Well, yeah, because you want to keep a running tally of how long the different steps. Yeah, the different stages. Yeah.

[01:34:33] So using the XP calculator, the number of Pokemon is the number of Pokemon that is working. The level of defeated Pokemon would be the level one times the amount of hours worked. On the land? Was that it? No. The level of the Pokemon is the... The level of the defeated Pokemon. Yeah. Would be the level of, like one level times the amount of hours it worked. Yes. Yeah.

[01:35:02] And then each Pokemon's level that was involved working on it. To get their individual experience for working on a manual task. Are we finished doling out the experience of them all? Yeah. Cool. Cubone needs to level up. Okay. He has exactly eight points over. Nice. Give me a second. I will jump up a side poke. What is Cubone level now? Thirteen. Serious.

[01:35:32] Level sixteen, you said? Level level? Thirteen. Serious. Why so serious? Yes. Because my mom died. Because my parents are dead! Alright, so his HP is now forty. Attack is twenty-two. Defense is thirty-three. Special attack is nineteen. Special defense is twenty-two. And speed is eighteen. Alright.

[01:36:01] So we've all met, we ended up with a dollar and ninety-two. That was just straight pennies. Like, of work done. Yeah. Crazy. And then we did have four Pokemon doing the work. So we're supposed to go into EVs. That would've been a pretty high multiplier. I'm supposed to go into EVs for that. I don't find it that hard to believe now. That makes no sense. Well, because each Pokemon additional beyond the first was adding two to the multiplier. Yeah. Fair enough.

[01:36:29] I'm actually kinda really glad that we are like building this game, like the system, while we're playing. Because otherwise like, I wouldn't know half the stuff we're working. Or it would take me that much harder time to actually read through it and try and understand it. So I can learn things when I'm actually doing them. Learn by doing. Toss you into the firing pan. Cast them into the fire.

[01:36:59] I do really wanna play this game as a character. The problem with this is that I'm normally baked off my ass when I'm making these rules. So unless you say things like write them down, I don't think about it. But the idea for the rules comes to me so much easier when I'm just like fucking done. Mmhmm. I have a question for TMs. Yes. Do you remember what the costing was?

[01:37:26] It was power of the attack divided by 10 and pricing in dollars. Yep. But running off that system, now basically if you look it up and get a TM price, you're looking at that price in every 250 is one... Every 250 Pokedollars is one real dollar. Okay.

[01:37:52] So if a TM is 2,000, it's 8 bucks. Okay. We got some things accomplished today. Yep. Rule wise. Yeah. Really, that's... We're getting to the point where I'm gonna have to start fucking making subfolders on the fucking Pokemon... in the Pokemon folder. Yeah. This section is for everything that pertains to the game. This is other stuff that we needed to figure out from our own adventures. Items, berries, like items.

[01:38:22] So it would be like berries, apricorns, items, TMs. Sidebar, how to plant your own. Yeah. It's like a tax. Yeah, if we ever make this into a PDF file or something like that, this is gonna be interesting. Easy enough. I got a PDF editor. So do I. It's called InDesign. Okay. The Adobe InDesign is what most companies use for... or what most newspapers use for building their papers and laying them out and stuff. Printing. Oh, okay. Yeah, aside from the small ones that for some reason still use Corel.

[01:38:51] Corel? Really? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, wait. I'm glad I didn't say we planted the rose. Yeah. Fall is harvest time, right? Yep. We gotta wait until spring to plant this shit. Because winter is coming. Yep. Good that we have firetips around. Okay.

[01:39:21] Other question. Harvest times. Different berries come in at different points during the spring, summer, fall. Oh. Do we want to get that complicated? Do we? I don't mind it. Are there berries that are specific for winter? Considering all the shit we've done? No. Considering all the shit that we are specific about, I'd say that we should just have them as like a... A seasonal thing? Maybe just like a summer thing. Yeah. Like they produce berries all summer long. Yeah. Boom. Yeah, because you gotta... Yeah. Because... Yeah.

[01:39:52] During the summer. Yeah. Same with fucking apricorns. The thing is we... Like we get apricorns during the summer. Because we started off with a system that was just like bare bones. Yeah. We've already added a ton of complexity, but we wanted to try and keep it... It's because we keep finding more things we want in. Yeah. Like abilities and shit like that. And I have no problem building this system that we all want. I'm just... That's why I was asking like, do we want this? If not, cool. We'll just do it as summer months. Yeah.

[01:40:19] Summer months, they grow their berries. Yeah. We'll just leave that one sort of... So like June, July, August, we get berries off these guys. Yeah. And apricorns. Yeah. Apricorns, we're gonna have to wait another fucking year in game though. Yep. So you're... Whatever. Thinking ahead. We've already spent like a few months. Yeah. Yep. Um, well, you know what? I'm gonna get the apricorns started now. I'm gonna go get pots in town. And put us in some...

[01:40:48] And start them in pots in the cabin. Well, if they're anything like acorns, then you'd bury them for the winter and they grow in the spring. Uh, yeah, but I... The way Bulbapedia says it is that they think it's a cross between acorn and apricot. Which is why it's apricorn. Um... Well, there you go. Just take the acorn side of it. They also say possibly chestnut. Because the Japanese name is apparently really close to chestnut. Oh yeah? What's the Japanese name?

[01:41:18] Uh, bongan... Bunguri? Bung... Yeah, bonguri. Bunguri food. And I think it was... I think Nihanguri is chestnut. Which makes... Yeah, there you go. It does look like an acorn. Yeah, but do we want to do that? Because they from fucking oak trees don't give acorns for the first 50 years of their life. That's not it. I don't know. It's a game. You don't need to be that realistic. It is an alternate reality fantasy game. Yeah. Oh.

[01:41:47] Oh. Worst case scenario, use a leaf stone on it. What about apricots though? What? The thing in the cave. What? That stone. Right. Yeah. Yeah. We can rack it up against one of the other ones. We've got a broken one. You've got two... Yeah, you've got two tubes of it. Let's take some of that and fucking grind this shit up and use it like a fertilizer and mulch. Oh God. Wouldn't that just give us like more seeds? No, it'll give you... It... There's different very... There's different things that happen to it.

[01:42:16] There's different things it could do, but basically you would assume that the plant would be soaking up the energy from the... From the energy. Perhaps. Yeah. From the stone. The way it was described to me, the thing is like missing no. So it's... It's... There's... I've made it two... Yeah, but it made Firo evolve. Yeah. It's missing no in that... It also made... Um... It's just Pikachu. Yeah, because it... It came in contact with one of those stones. It's essentially a missing no and... They're basically going to evolve. Yeah. From seeds into plants. Yep. Wow, it's like Bulbasaur. Yeah.

[01:42:45] Bulbasaur starts as a bulb and grows into an actual plant. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, Eric, the way I had that stone is that it's missing no in the weird like glitchy like reality shit it does. It's like... But it's also the root of all the evolution stones. It's more... Don't think of it as missing no. Think of it as a data cluster from Saints Row 4. Exactly. Yeah. It allows you to do cool glitchy shit in the world. But it also acts as the... You get data clusters to build up your superpowers. Yeah.

[01:43:14] That's how you buy your superpowers. I knew that much. But I haven't played the game. Yeah. It's fun, dude. It's how I integrated missing no into the game. I may be able to pass it off your way soon. I haven't... I actually haven't finished 3 yet, so... Okay. Because I'm a bit of a completionist, so I want to get everything done. Some of those missions are goddamn hard. I'm normally a completionist until someone ruins something for me. Like my little brother got into Saints Row 3. Oh God. Then shut up. Fuck that. Drop the game. Because I know he's not willing to go out and spend the money on Saints Row 4 right

[01:43:43] now because he'd rather spend that money on other new games. So, I'm safe for a little while. So I'm playing Saints Row 4. Nice. That said, it feels like Saints Row 3. It really is. I know. It's just... I don't know. I feel like adding superpowers took away from the game. Um... Because I don't drive vehicles anymore. Yeah. Unless the mission demands that I drive a vehicle. I just don't drive them. I can run and fucking... Yeah.

[01:44:11] I can run, jump, and glide faster than I can fucking get somewhere in a car. Yeah. And it's fun. Exactly. The only time I take a vehicle is uh... There's an alien fucking ship that I will occasionally jump into if I have to fly like clear across the map. Because then I don't have to run and jump and run up all these fucking buildings and glide and shit. I just take the fucking plane and... Yeah. Straight line. I had fun doing that in Prototype. Which is essentially the exact same movement system. I had fun doing it too. It's just... Eventually it becomes...

[01:44:41] Repetitive? Yeah. Fair. Ugh. Okay. So... So yeah, you guys can totally just... Let's uh... Let's treat it like Harvest Moon. We plant the seeds and in a year they bear fruit. Yeah. But I do want to try at least a controlled test with that. Alright. Okay. So we'll take one of each apricorn. Because I have three of each. Um, we'll take one of each. Rooms into a Bulbasaur. Yeah. A Pseudo-Woodo. Damn it. No, no.

[01:45:10] That's a rock type. You know, if I planted a stone apricorn... You know, I carve a rock to look like an apricorn and add some of that stuff. I'll get a Pseudo-Woodo. I'll get another Ify. I think we should do it. So... Um... Well, it's probably end of day. Yep. So, um, I'm... We're... I guess we'll go to bed. Yeah. And I'll run into town and grab some clay pots. Okay. Big enough for them tomorrow.

[01:45:41] Okay. Cool. Alright. Uh, so... Next morning... Rain! Of course. Of course. It's fine. Daylight? It's sunny day. It's sunny day. I'm honestly fine with rain because it... We're... We got soil that needs water. Mm. Mm. They also have water types. It's true. But... The world is actually... Maybe something to do. The water types would actually like to have the rain. Yeah.

[01:46:11] Because then they play around more. Same with the grass types. Yeah, Totodile's just like... Munchie's just like... Yeah! Just freaking out. So happy. Munchie... Knowing Munchie's personality, he'd be setting up like a slip and slide. Yeah. All mud. Just fucking run and go for it. Right into the creek. Which is starting to... Exactly. That way you're not dirty. You fucking land in the creek. You want it to roll off. You know, you're good. Yep. Pokemon are Pokemon.

[01:46:42] Except my Totodile, he's more like a person. That's why I actually love him. No! Oh! Unlike Eric's Pokemon that can't even win a battle. I know, right? He can win a battle when it's up against a Rattata or a Grimer. And when the odds are against him... He can win the battle when it doesn't matter. Yeah, exactly. When it has absolutely no relevance to anything else going on. Except for his own personal plot.

[01:47:10] Which I guess that's fair. The other ones do just fine. I disagree. Anyway... Jules is a star. Yeah, okay. Anyway. They will do pretty well too. Okay, so... Next day. It is the next day. I'm gonna get Arcanine out. Okay. And ride into town. Alright, you're riding a... And several while you're there. Will do.

[01:47:39] Can I give you an order for some TMs? For some TMs? Give me money too and yeah. This shit don't come free. It's because we're not fucking... You know, we're not the common folk. When we order things we pay in advance. That way people know we have the money. Yep. It gives us more prestige to pay for everything in advance. To be fair, he came from a common family. He was a Rager.

[01:48:08] That's true, but he's now part of our enterprise. Which means we need to straighten him out. Mhm. So... Which TMs are you getting? Also fill up money for a suit. Earthquake, Scald, Rock Slide... Okay, because I have pictures of screenshots that give prices for a lot of these. Really nice. Which ones? Earthquake? Yep. Okay, hold on. I don't have Earthquake pulled up yet.

[01:48:38] We did already get an Earthquake at one point. Yep, that was using the old... Earthquake was power 100. Is Earthquake a TM? Yeah. I haven't got it for QBone. It's TM 26. I just don't have it on my screenshots. So... We'll call it 10 bucks. It's sent by the old system. What is it? And Scald...

[01:49:04] It's the base form wearing a new hoodie of the revolved form. So that's 8 bucks. So... They were pretty cool, so I got some. I like the Dratini. Do you have Scald with a new system? Um... Well... It all depends on if I have... A screenshot. Because that's where I'm... I'm taking them from as screenshots. Yeah. By the old system it was Power 80. You know what?

[01:49:34] Actually, I can find it on Bulbapedia. Because Bulbapedia will give you the fucking TM. There you go. So Apricorns were for gold edition, right? Were in gold? Gold and silver, yeah. Sweet. Okay, I might have to start playing that game. Just to kind of get a vibe through that stuff. Yeah, then you would get an Apricorn and you would bring it to... The Pokemon maker. Yeah.

[01:50:04] Exactly. I will at some point implement a Pokemon Craftsman... Like a traveling Craftsman. To, you know, give you an in on getting the crafting skill for it. Perhaps. Let's do TM. So you want generation 6, right? So it's TM55. And it had a link to it. It's right at the top. Oh, we're there. Sweet. Okay. Scald. Not available. In black and white or black too. Oh, wow.

[01:50:34] As a TM, but in... It's not available for purchase. Yeah. That is what it is. But the thing is, the price is different between heart gold and X and Y. Yeah. Um... So, hold on a second. Do they give it to you for free? No. Buy three, get one free. Well... I think we just have to go that one by power. Yeah. Okay, so that's eight bucks. Yep. Yep. Yep. I think that's just gonna have to be how we do that system.

[01:51:04] It is, but just by power, keep it simple. Well, I mean, unless we have an actual purchase price for the TM, which at that particular one, we did not. Okay. Next one... We can fill it out later. Um, earthquake. Earthquake. Not available. Not available. So that would be ten bucks. See you see? Apparently they just give it to you now. Yeah. Uh... A lot of them you can find.

[01:51:29] You can buy a bunch of them, but a lot of the TNs were not available for purchase in any game. Yeah. It's the same in any game though. Scroll down a little bit. Well, they have prices there. Can we use that? Sell price. Um... 12,000, uh, PC? I don't even know what the fucking thing is because it's not the same unit of currency. Oh, yeah. Just use the power. That's battle points and... Yeah. Poke coupons.

[01:51:59] Poke coupon, what? Yeah. Like this is... Yeah. Um... That's for... Generation four. Yeah. We'll just... I'll try and make a list, but we'll call it ten. What's the next move? Rock slide? Rock slide. I have rock slide. Um... Have you used it? Yeah. Then. That's good. We'll have to get another one. Yeah. Um...

[01:52:26] No, rock slide is, uh, it's on, um, on, uh, Teddiarza. Um... Didn't get a price for that one. There's no... It's not available for purchase. Uh, hold on. Um... Power is 75 on rock slide, so that's eight bucks. Is, like, no key I'm available for purchase anymore? Apparently they're all fine. You can just find them or you can give them to them. I mean, I got... I walked up to a yard. There are, like, Fire Blast is one you can purchase. But the thing is, is in each game there were some that you could buy and some that you

[01:52:56] had to find. Or some that you'd win. Okay. We happen to be picking the ones that, for current pricing, you have to find. Sure. Next one. Whatever. That's another one that we would've gotten. Uh, yeah, I have it. Possibly nine bucks, but let's check the PM. And X and Y. Not available.

[01:53:26] Eight bucks. All right, so... Basically, I'd give you 40. Not to cover it. 10 because 10 per. So you have a little bit extra to get a suit with. Excellent. Yeah, but... I've got to look the pert. You'll get change. It's, you know, six bucks less than that. Yeah, so six bucks. It's what? Eight, eight. Eight, eight, eight, ten.

[01:53:55] Yeah. What's the name of that, uh... Uh, yeah. That's eight. Cause... Fucking flamethrower's at 90 power. What's the name of that, uh, tie to the old young southern gentleman? Cravat. No, no, not a cravat. Uh, an ascot. No, not that either. It's just like a, it's like a string essentially. Oh, the polo. Oh, really? I think it's called a polo or a string tie. Okay. So I figure his character needs one of those. To complete the rancher look.

[01:54:25] It's a string tie. Okay. That's what they call it. So we need to give him a suit that looks good with a string tie. These are the ties you're talking about, right? Oh, God. It's the curls. Yes, yes. The curls thing. Not this one. Can't unsee. You're thinking more like this. Um... No, I was thinking like those. You were thinking like that? Yeah. That's a bolo. Okay. That's a bolo tie. This is a string tie. Oh my God. A string tie would work too, but... Yeah. A bolo would suit the character better, I think. Okay.

[01:54:55] Can't unsee. Tiny body, big head. Oh, that, yeah. It's the colonel's, uh... Yeah. Uniform. Uh... So... Do we know the price of a suit? Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum. Uh... Actually, I might be able to find a hint with that, because I think that's in the D20 Call of Cthulhu, uh, price listings. For 1920, anyway. That'd be close. Mm-hmm. Then you just maybe boost up the price a bit.

[01:55:25] Well, a buck now was worth what, then? 25, then? Actually, I have a conversion rate. A buck, then, is worth 25, now. Okay, so it's about four bucks for a suit. You can get a suit for about 100 bucks. There we go. So he can get all of his TMs and a suit and still get change. There you go. There you go. No, I think it would cost a little more than 100 bucks now, so it'd probably be all of the TMs and a suit, even.

[01:55:55] It'd be a particularly nice suit. Yeah. Well, of course it would be. It's handmade. Mm-hmm. And 11. Mm-hmm. All right, so there we go. 40. Okay, so we'll get you a suit, too. Mm-hmm. All right. So we're gonna pick up those TMs for you. You can make notes of that. And I'm going to go to, I guess it's the same store I bought the seeds from, to get the pots. Yes. Okay. That's what I'm going to.

[01:56:25] Now, I'm... Oh, okay. Yeah, just say special orders on the TMs. I know that we had to order some of them. Some of them. Rock Slide, you'll be able to get right away because it's mining town. Mm-hmm. Probably Earthquake as well. Mm-hmm. Did you have to wait for Earthquake, or did you get it right off? Um... Because I know you bought it. I had to order it. Okay. Flamethrower's in order. Scald is in order as well, is it not? No. No. No, Scald was available. Okay, Scald and Rock Slide are available. Earthquake and Flamethrower have to be ordered. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:56:55] I need to make a fucking TM list. Not hard. Tailored silk dress suit cost 75 bucks in 1920. A tailor-made dress suit is 75 bucks in 1920? Yep. Tailored silk dress suit, according to the Call of Cthulhu D20. Um, in 1920s it was $75 plus. I think the dollar had already devalued pretty much. Yeah, it really has. Well, because, uh... I'm just going to check something here. ...in 1920, the war had already been fought. Mm-hmm. And, yeah. Okay.

[01:57:25] Yeah, actually, you know what? Um, how much... How much did you guys think that was the, um... Uh, his suit would cost? Uh, well, it was six bucks is what we gave it. Yeah. Six bucks? Okay, yeah. It's about 150 bucks. Yep, that's actually accurate to this. Of today's dollars. Yeah, that's actually accurate to the inflation here, so, yeah. So, no change! No change. Okay. You get your TMs and you get your suit. I'll be bringing two of them back for you with the suit. So, Colin is just doing flesh!

[01:57:54] Marks the TMs and giving you the money. Done. As Wind and Rain are whipping by, and then he jumps off his, uh, his, uh, Arcanine and balls it, I guess, and sheathes it or whatever, and then walks into town. Anything else you need to do? All the stuff I want to do costs too much money to do it. Yeah. For now. Get mining! So, I already did. Yeah. It came away at 20 bucks worth, apparently.

[01:58:24] So, I can't do any more until, what is it, next week or next month? How does the, uh, perform? Uh, we were doing it, it's monthly. There you go. Yeah. So, I won't be able to do any more money until next month. Apparently. Now, which ones did you actually get once? Uh, the... You got flamethrower. Well, yeah. No, I mean which ones did you order, cause I'm doing price. I ordered Earthquake and flamethrower.

[01:58:53] Earthquake was 10 bucks? Yep. Flamethrower was 8. Yep. Scald was 8. Yep. And Rockslide was 8. Yep. Okay. There. Now I've got the cost factored in for what we know immediately. Wait, we said 10 berries, didn't we? In a bag? Yep. That's right. 20 cents a piece. Cool. Alright. Um... Light!

[01:59:21] I started looking like vampires in here. This happened last week too, when I came in and it was like dark, and I'm like, what are you gonna do? Okay. Um, yeah, okay, so the pots. Mm-hmm. Clay pots. Clay pots. Um... Well that said, I want 7 of them that are about the size of that blue box. Gotcha. How much did we say a dollar was in this time? It's like 25. 25 dollars? Yeah.

[01:59:50] A dollar then is 25 now. Okay, how about, um... But you have to think that... Yeah. Clay pots weren't as easily made as... That's true. They are now manufacturers. 50 cents? Well... I mean, people also didn't value their work as highly as people do now. Yeah. 25 cents? Like a quarter? I'd probably say more than that. So 50? 75?

[02:00:19] If you'd said a buck, I was gonna try and handle you down. Yeah, I'd say... I was honestly gonna go with 50. 50 and 75, I'd say is probably better. Yeah, I was honestly gonna go with 50 originally. Okay, we'll go with 50. So I'm spending 350 on clay pots. Yep. We've come a long way from... I'll give them 4 bucks to deliver. Okay. Because I gotta... Cletus will be pleased. Seven clay pots that size on Arcanine's back. That's gonna break. Yeah, it's not half. Yeah. Uh, okay.

[02:00:48] Arcanine might be able to drag it, but how am I gonna fit seven of them on when I ride bareback? Yeah. I don't have a saddle or anything for it. Uh... See, this is why I want a car. Soon. Soon. How much for a car? 2,000? For a two-seater, 2,000. Yeah. For the Limo 2800. What's the...

[02:01:39] What's the... Yeah. I think that's the term they use for it in Tropico. Yeah. A Boncass can hold two families. Okay. Now where would that... You think would that be in... I'm actually just... I'm literally just going through the... Like naming off the districts of Anyox and where things are. Yeah. Um, and I'm just wondering like would that be in the hillside which is essentially in between the docks region and the upper strip which is where the Pokestan is, where the Pokemon

[02:02:06] or where the arena is, where um, where uh, what's his name? Where all the major businesses... Bunkhows would exist where the laborers live. Well they already have... That's actually still in separate part. That's in the mining district and that's actually like 30 homes. But you also have dock workers and things, right? Yeah, so there'd be Bunkhows... People don't want to live too far from where they work. Yeah. Especially because in that day and age they walk. So I'm sure there's... So you'd actually have bunkhouses built throughout Anyox. Okay, so I'll just say that there's bunkhouses.

[02:02:34] Basically wherever there's low paid, like wherever there's like unskilled workers, there'd be bunkhouses. Well yeah, I'm not... Yeah, that's true. Yeah, cause I put the velvet cloister um, in the hillside which is the in between of everything. Alright. So I got the pots. Yep. I'm uh, I'm heading back to the house. Most things at the time we're doing like over 5,000. Um, wait. I'm gonna see if they have a mortar and pestle made of stone. I would imagine they would, considering the era that we're in. Yep. Okay.

[02:03:02] I'm going to buy a large-ish mortar and pestle. Okay. Buy a large-ish... I mean, I'm looking for one that's marble. That's about the size of a... Um... A cannibal pot. Like a mason bowl. Like one of these steel bowls. Gotcha. Um... So the mortar that would go with it would be... Would that be at the trading post or would that be at the Masons? Wouldn't be at the... I'd... Well, maybe at the Masons. If not, he could make it.

[02:03:32] Probably. Probably. Rockwork. It is. It's stone carving. So probably at the Masons, I guess. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. It would probably be at the Masons. Yep. Yeah. Cause if you're doing...

[02:03:59] You're using both fucking arms, like driving down on it. Yeah. It's set up on like a fucking tree stump and you're doing like corn for flour. So we should get to know? Ah, this is for the fucking stone. I'm going to take some of the fragments of that fucking glowy stone. Alright, alright. That's going to be fun. Do you even know how many copies of mortars and pestles you're going to have after that? It does do random shit when you grind it.

[02:04:26] It probably shouldn't function that way though because it works on smaller sections of the stone. And it's a controlled effort. I'm not smashing it with the mortar and pestle. It's a grinding action. Tell you what. We can roll a percentile. If you get over 90, then something will happen. If you get under 90, you're fine. Okay. But yeah, so yeah, you go over to... I think his name is George or...

[02:04:57] 50. I'm good. What's that? Milk. Chocolate milk? Chocolate milk. Okay. In a glass bottle. Yeah. I like to drink it like Link. Alright then. Foodland. Nice. And it is fucking amazing chocolate milk. Is it more expensive or...? It's three bucks for a liter. You end up paying five for your first one because there's a two dollar deposit on the bottle.

[02:05:27] Okay. But you can take the bottles back to food land. So... After your first bottle, it's three bucks a bottle so long as you keep bringing it back. I have one that I keep as my drinking bottle. But whenever I buy the milk, I just drink it. It's a straight bottle. So I think I have a couple of anyoks mapped out in terms of like where the districts are going on. Hey. That's good. The road to... Oh yeah, by the... Yeah. So... Walmart has shit for Flo-Flobs. So I'm gonna have to look elsewhere.

[02:05:57] I looked and I just didn't like it. And the road to it is actually in the mining district. Well, we can go more private work, but... So the miners district... Actually, I'm gonna call it the guild district because that makes more... That's more... That would probably be a little more like PRS much because that's also... The guild district is also where the town hall is because they're the founders of the town. Like I get home from work one day, then I'm home. And the upper strip is where the sheriff's office is because now we actually have a sheriff's office. At some point, I will probably have some Bible campers come in and send the church.

[02:06:26] Where would the cemetery be? Because I mean, regardless of if there's a church or not, there would be a cemetery. I mean, I might try and manage it then. Okay. Because I'm not going to sleep. No, I'm not going to sleep. Alright, so it's right beside Tama Hockey's house. I mean, I might try and catch a nap. Her house is in the northern outskirts. It's gonna be... The perfect place where a witch decided... No, honestly, there should be... There should probably... If there's a cemetery, should there not be some kind of like at least a chapel or a missionary or something in town? If there's a cemetery in town? Not necessarily. There could just be a shrine. Okay. And... Shrine? Alright, so... Are there strangers in town?

[02:06:56] We figured out that... We were like... A place... Does it have a... A town like Antioch's back then? Would probably have a chapel. Okay. Chapel. Because by the standards in 1911, you would not be able to call Antioch's a town without it having a chapel. Yeah. Otherwise it would be a hamlet. It would be a hamlet. So, sorry, Tamahaki, but your neighbors are Bible-bumpers. Okay.

[02:07:24] Because I put her house in the northern outskirts of town. And the mining operations are in the southern part of town. That's right. She doesn't have to stay there. Also, we did find that, we didn't realize that Antioch's like, if you look at Google maps and so that, Antioch has a dam that makes up your... actually is building up the water or the water body that your river goes and your creek goes into, and it's a generator. It was... there was actually an electric generator there. In 1911? Yep.

[02:07:55] Question. So if there's a shrine, does that mean there are going to be shriners there? No, they were out at that time. No, we made it a chapel. Okay. Now the thing is, is would that dam have been built? Um, I think so actually. I did look at it, I think I remember looking it up, but I'll double check it. Would that dam have been built in this world? In this world, I think they might be... Would you need hydroelectric dams when you have Pokemon? Yes. Still, yeah. Guild of Industry. Industry. Yes, however... It's not the Guild of Pokemon.

[02:08:25] In Pokemon, the Pokemon generate the electricity. Yes, but they still have an electric generator. So, I'd say that they were... That was what the Pokemon were used for. I know, but I'd say they'd still be building it. A Pokemon of Amsterdam? No. They can't just zap all day. No, dude, I'm pretty sure I've got a lot of people. I've seen pictures of like, electrodes with electrodes on them. Like, you know. Uh, it was in the 1920s, Chris, the dam wasn't built yet. Okay.

[02:08:51] So the... yeah, so your creek is still a creek, not a flood plain down in the southern part of your valley. Oh, trust me, we'll be fucking fighting that. Just out of principle. I don't like the fact that there's a dam, there's an electric dam in this world. Alright, so... That ship further down the stream. Would there at least be a generator station then? Like, on the river? Where the dam was being built?

[02:09:21] Or was it gonna be there? If there was no dam, probably not. Okay. The dam would have been their source of electricity. So, if it wasn't existed yet, they would be using electric type Pokemon. Okay. Because there are places where we kinda have to have it, like the Pokemon Center. Yeah. Has to have electricity, so... Alright, so, that removes that from that. Uh, so yeah, Town Hall.

[02:09:47] So, yeah, the Guild District has the Guild offices, the mining bunkhouses, the smeltery, mines, slack fields, and the town hall. Um, the upper strip has the Anyox Pokemon Center, the arena, the sheriff's office, and the geeks, uh, trading post. And then everything else is there. Okay. Hmm. You know? Guilds in the series would probably really like that dam. Yeah? Yeah, it was a pretty big, um...

[02:10:15] Like, I'm surprised, like, they built it and then... It says here that that was the tallest dam in Canada for many years. Yeah. And then it, then the town went out of business, it became a ghost town. Well, that wasn't until 35. Yeah. That's when the mine shut down. Yeah. Um, okay. So... Also forest fires. Yeah. Hence why there is a goddamn fire ban. Anyway, um...

[02:10:45] Yeah, so I'm just, I'm gonna head back to the house and that's what I'm doing is my grinding. Okay. And I'm gonna grind up enough to give a good sprinkling on each pot. Okay. And he gets a suit in his TMs? And he gets a suit in his TMs. Oh, to the TMs. Yeah. Well, the ones you're getting now. Yeah. So what are you putting in the money anyway? Somebody roll me a, um... A what, a squirrel? Yep. Um... Makes sense.

[02:11:15] Mm-hmm. Somebody roll me a D20, please. Actually, oh... Roll a D20. Gotta be a montage. Montage! Pretty much, yeah. Montage is done in the suit. One piece at a time. Down, down out. Down out now. No. No. No. Buckling the belt buckle. Barron's just staring at him. Barron's just staring at him. Barron's just staring at him.

[02:11:44] Except the thing is, he's fucking twirling like Sailor Moon while it's happening. Oh god. Like pirouetting around the fucking, the cabin sliding on gloves. In the name of the moonstone? I went there, Eric. Um, what time is it by the way? Do you think in this point? No, no, no, no. He means in the game. Um, before noon. Yeah.

[02:12:13] Uh, so what are you guys doing for the rest of the day? Um... Well, I assume, uh... That was the gravel jack. He goes back to Muse. Huh? Just let it soak. I asked him to gather Muse. It's soaked. I asked him to gather Muse. I asked him to get a Muse. I asked him to gather some Muse from the town. So we know what's going on. Oh, my God, it's so... Apparently Eric, uh, Baron, uh, asked Conlin to gather some news from the town. He said yes. Well, that would have been part of my general goings on. Okay. Gotcha. So what did I hear? Um, well, you heard that, uh...

[02:12:41] Cause I mean, I don't just walk in and to the store, especially being a gentleman, Yeah. and go, I want this. Yeah. You know, I talk to the storekeeper. Alright, well they tell you that, um, it's been, aside from the rain, it's been otherwise wisely eventful, except for that a, uh, mysterious stranger came into town, uh, not too long ago. Um, and, uh, um, set in flames, or, or was seen, um, was seen around the, uh, the properties that got, uh, affected by the fire.

[02:13:10] Okay. Um... I have a description of said gentlemen. Black, um... You're going to make them black? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. A black, uh, like a black duster, um... For real, Chris. Oh, Chris is going there. A moose tank, uh, hat, uh, and a bandana over his, uh, or like a scarf or a handkerchief, like a, like a bandana over his, uh, face.

[02:13:35] Um, and he seemed to be, he, the only really real connection between him and the fire was that he showed up into town, uh, proclaiming that the fire ban was a abomination against, uh, Pokemon and their freedoms, and then kind of vanished, and then poof, one of the buildings went up and flipped. So he's a fucking loon. Alright. Yeah. Alright, follow. Those kind of people existed back then? Yep. Wow. They've always existed. Since the dawn of time.

[02:14:03] Man, I should have bought a fucking fire stone forever ago. I can't save the earth, and that's appearing since the dawn of time. Right. Dawn of the earth, maybe? Dawn of knowledge of the earth. There we go. Um, aside from that, um... Like, yeah, there's not a whole lot of other stuff around town, uh, at the moment. Okay. So, yeah, that was the biggest thing that happened in the basement.

[02:14:33] Well, I will go back and tell Eric what I have to do. What do you even call that in this day and age? Did they, did they call them terrorists back then, too? Or just arsonists? Um... I just called them, like, like, uh, bandits. Or, I guess not bandits. Yeah, bandit was a word for anybody who was... Scoundrel. Yeah, scoundrel, yeah. I think they, they probably did call terrorists terrorists, though. Hoodlums. Yeah. The laggards. It's like he doesn't realize he's gonna burn down the whole forest.

[02:15:03] So, what's... So, if this, uh, eco-terrorist is burning our village down, does that make him Robin Hood? Or Mel Brooks? Both. Both. Leave us alone, Mel Brooks! Yeah, but every time they make a rub in this movie, they burn our village down. After he's done grinding up all that crystal? Yep.

[02:15:32] Which I don't know how you want me to run with that. For what? For what? Check, or how long it takes. Already, already done. It's already done? Yep. Okay. Um, once all that's done, I'm gonna mix it in with soil in the pots, and then plant the apricorns outside. Okay. And then get the, uh, the polywipes to water them for me.

[02:15:54] Alright, so polywipes are watering them. Um, and that'll happen at some point. Um, or something will happen at some point. Um, so, uh... That was a great sounding one. What? What? Um, so what else are you doing during the day? Um, I'm going to head back to where I was fighting those Lee Bandys.

[02:16:24] Okay. You, um... I'm gonna use the bathroom so you can talk to one of the other guys. Alright. What are you guys doing? Well, um, he's been crushing the rocks and sprinkling them and doing some farming. Uh, how long does it take to teach TM? Um, I think just really like, uh, you roll and handle the Pokemon. Yeah. Um, and see if you, uh, and that, and depending on how long that, that's how long it takes.

[02:16:50] Could be, within one session, could be, could take two sessions of, uh, of training. So it's the middle of the day, right? Yep. Alright. Yeah, it's probably about, probably one or two now because he was crushing up that rock and stuff. I'm gonna go into town. Alright. And I'm going to see if there is a bounty posted at the Sheriff's office. You said there's a Sheriff now, right? Mm-hmm. There's always a Sheriff. There's a bounty board. Is there a Clapshaw beside it? No.

[02:17:19] There's a Jigglypuff. See, look at that. You're just funny everywhere. Cause they don't exist in Pokemon. Yeah, they're actually called Meowts. Is there a Meowt beside it? Yeah, there's a Meowt. Excellent. Chris is killing our Clapshaw dreams. Anyways, so. Hey, you guys. Is there a... You wanted a baby clutch? What can you say? Yeah, sure. What's he worth?

[02:17:49] What? We've all lost. Um, see how they're, he's only suspected of lighting that flyer? About 20 bucks. Chump change. There is also a picture, there is also another one. Um, a very elaborate drawing. Um, of a guy with a taxidermed cat-eared, um, uh, cab hat. Um, and he's worth about a hundred dollars. That's a bit better. Hmm.

[02:18:19] Um, for capture... But his onyx is really big. Yeah. It is a 50 foot onyx. He also really, you guys haven't really caught much news about him recently. He might still be out in the wilderness. We're not really sure where he is. Um. The full length for an onyx is what, 28 feet normally? Yeah. And of course, the last place we saw him, the tunnels collapsed. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.

[02:18:50] Um, you do also see some other bounties. Though they're not really for people, per se. Um, they're more or less just kind of like job opportunities, um, for blowgetters. For, uh, $30, the Guild of Industry is, um, asking anybody who has, um, particularly useless water Pokemon. One second, one second, one second. Okay. Okay.

[02:19:19] I'm writing down numbers here. Alright. Um, Guild of Industry is something about water Pokemon? If you have a, if for anybody who has particularly useful water Pokemon, like strong water Pokemon, um, there is a downed ferry, um, in the middle of the inlet. Um, because of the onyx man. He, he destroyed the onyx, he apparently unleashed his onyx on the, on the ship. And then, um, it sank.

[02:19:50] What a jackass. So, there are, um, it sunk so a lot of like, the menial, like a lot of like, so that wasn't waterproof is gone, is crap now. But, there is a, uh, there is, um, uh, a number of like, um, like supplies and stuff of that that were in like, bolts, or in like, um, like, uh, uh, like sealed boxes or crates or containers and stuff of that.

[02:20:17] Uh, and there is actually the banks, or the Anionk Banks, um, like, dues, essentially, still down there. So, is there something that's on the, on the board that you're noticing? Yeah, I'm gonna, too, mind spit that. Mm-hmm. On one hand, you can just loot it. On the other hand, I could be, I could just turn it in and increase reputation. Reputation. Yeah, let's go for that.

[02:20:47] Better rep means more money in the long run. It is a couple of kilometers out in the inlet. Um, it's not something, I don't, I don't think it's something that you will do right now because I know I just have that out. But it's just, it's, it's an, uh, it's a job opportunity. Um, they're just looking for somebody who has the, who, who has a particularly good Pokemon for it to go out there and do it. I happen to have a particularly good Pokemon for it. Well, we're gonna have to save that for next game. Must we? Mm-hmm. It seems like the most entertaining thing here right now.

[02:21:17] Hmm. What about it? Well, it was, uh, munchy again. Thirteen right now? Hmm. Is he decent candidate? It's a quarter? Eleven, I believe. Thirteen. Yeah. Right. What's the quarter? Eleven. Fariot treasure and assumption chip. Oh. Hmm. I've already thought about that. Yeah, but there's actually a job posting to go get it. Oh, okay.

[02:21:49] Hmm. What's for an arsonist? Has nobody died from the fires? Nope. It was one of the, um, less used, um, where the homes are called. It's one of those, like, about halfway home. Um, sorry, I had spice. Went down my throat. No, spice went down my throat. Mm-hmm. Um, it's, it's just like, yeah, it wasn't like nobody died from it. Uh, some people were injured. Mm-hmm.

[02:22:19] But, um, it was just, uh, and nobody knows that, uh, nobody can really, like, nobody saw him actively do it. It's just, he was around, he showed up proclaiming that the fire bamboo thing was over, was a mistake, and blah, blah, blah, and then a house burned down. Or a property burned down. Yeah. So, the cop, the, the, the officers are drawing conclusions to a suspect. And it's probably to bring him in alive, right? Right now, it's 20 bucks to bring him in alive.

[02:22:50] Okay. Questioning. What are our list of, uh, Pokemon that we have for the, uh, ranch? We also have two drawlets. I'm gonna use this one. Hoo-hoots. Perfect. Yeah, we caught a couple hoo-hoots for, uh, nighttime watching. Exactly. We're gonna make use of those soon. Very soon. Probably tonight. What levels are they? About 13.

[02:23:20] Sweet, okay. Alright. I'm gonna return back to the claim. Hit. Three hours later. Three hours? Raining still, dude. It's only, it's only not raining on your property. Rain makes you move slower? Much. Yes. Whatever. Uh. As you dry out your beard. I don't know, mustache. He doesn't have beer for it.

[02:23:53] Alright. I'm gonna borrow a hoodoo. They're ranch use, man. I know. But just so you know where it is. Well, it's totally cool. We don't really need them for plant watching, because there's not really any plants to watch. Well, they'd be watching over the claim in general. Yeah. Our night watchmen. So, we'll leave one here. I'm gonna take one with me. I'm gonna stay up the night. Okay.

[02:24:22] I'm gonna see if I can find this arsonist. Would anyone care to join me, or would you rather sleep? I'll join. Okay. Well, wait. I was supposed to be getting Hunt and leave Annie's. Yep. I probably got at least one fight in before nightcare. Yep. Are you using a fire type? Uh. Because it is still raining outside of your property. Yeah. I was gonna use a fire type. Okay. You were gonna do it, or no? Yeah. Okay. He's not injured by the rain. Yeah, but... It's not an attack.

[02:24:51] However, there is a status effect on fire types in rain. In battles. It deals less. Which is? It's in the... I've encountered it before, or like recently. And you didn't just research it prior to throwing that at him? It's fogging down the game, man. Fire type attacks deal less damage. What about you, Joe? Would you be up for it? Half damage or something like that.

[02:25:20] But then, essentially because it's doubled, because it's an effective attack against the target, it basically makes a regular attack. I don't need it. I'm not using fire types. I would assume. I'm also using a flying type. Okay. The flying type will be fine. Anyways. You know the fire type does have a problem. Joe! Yeah. Would you care about me? Yeah, I can join you. Cool. Spiffing. Splendid. Excellent.

[02:25:48] I will join you, but I'm currently a few hours back. Yes. 50%. Okay. It's... The thing is though, that's under the effect of rain dance, not rain. Yes, but I mean it's the same thing pretty well. Like it's a rain storm. Except how one is specifically called by a Pokemon to cause and effect. Yeah. That's alright, I will roll with it. Because...

[02:26:17] So there has to be one of those said Pokemon in the area. I could see... I know I... Pokemon can cast that ability. Hmm? Unless there's a cult of Pokemon that's doing rain dance, and it's making it rain, and our sunniness is making it... So it's not. It's pissing them off. It's like, why are they so sunny over there? I won't argue. It means you get more experience. Right? Yeah. Come on, man. I gotta make some... I'm throwing environmental things at you guys. I'm not arguing it. I know. I just...

[02:26:46] I'm just saying... I don't want to throw environmental shit at you guys. I'm playing devil's advocate. Okay. I'm only arguing with you for the sake of arguing. Okay. As you do. I'm not actually trying to change your mind. Okay. I'm trying to make you possibly change your mind. Naturally, our ranch is discarded by like a small swat Pokemon. So it's relatively safe. The guy comes around. Yeah. I'm trying to make you make you change your mind. Make me think that I should do something. Like maybe get myself. Yeah, that's it. Basically.

[02:27:15] So what a player usually tries to do to the GM. Oh, okay. So you're actually making me a better GM. By me actually, you know, standing my ground on something. That's exactly what I'm doing. And totally not just I don't want to fucking do this. That's it. Yes. So. Because I definitely need trading when it comes to you. He's been targeting things just on the outskirts of town. So. So you're going up against Alicia. Figure out how many targets. Leave Vanny. Stay good. I do.

[02:27:45] We're going to have Hooded flying around overhead with its sharp eyes looking. Okay. So. Doesn't like the fire ban. And lights things on fire as a result of it. Mm-hmm. Doing it on behalf of fire type Pokemon. So he probably has fire type Pokemon with him. Mm-hmm. Which will be hindered by the rain. Since we've already established that. Yep.

[02:28:16] Moves are hindered by the rain. Yeah. Not necessarily fire type Pokemon. That's fine though. Yeah. Because it's the moves that we're worried about. I mean, that would be fun. So you just. Oh, yeah. Yeah. You're hunting? Rolls. Yeah, roll to see if you can. Roll initiative. Dude, I'm sure I'd find at least one. Yeah.

[02:28:46] They're probably enjoying. I mean, they're leaf Pokemon. They are plant Pokemon, right? Like plant bugs. And bugs. See, I'm sure they're enjoying the fuck out of this rain. Along with every other plant Pokemon in this area. Okay. That's 10 plus my survival of 7. Yeah. So 17 didn't find one. Yeah. That's a 21 on my initiative. Okay.

[02:29:16] And I think, yep, that's definitely higher for Fearow. These are all higher for Fearow. Fearow's got a 25. And Arcanine's got a 21. Ooh. Sorry, I'm going to have to write those down in a second. So I'm just shutting the shit down. Okay, so. Noveni. So what was your, Grelleth and Fearow was it?

[02:29:45] Fearow was 25 and Grelleth was 21. Okay, so this thing got 21 as well. What's your roll? My roll was a 9. A 9? Yeah. My bonus is a 9. Your bonus is a 9? Yeah. Okay, you win. My bonus is an 8. Okay. Arcanine's fucking stats went... As soon as I fucking evolved him. Holy shit. That's so... He went up with at least two points in almost every fucking stat. Like, two bonus points.

[02:30:21] Well that's right, so Arcanine's on the tail end. Mm-hmm. That's totally cool. Alright, what water attacks does Squirtle have? Uh, right now? So... Bubble. So I guess it's a Furious. Oh, he also has another one, but it just raises a defense. Doesn't actually deal with it. Um... Yeah, I'm just gonna roll for a fucking Fury attack.

[02:30:51] Okay. Uh, that's a 16 to hit. Physical. Physical. 16 to hit. Physical. Here's my plan. Okay. That actually misses. Spot the guy. I didn't figure it would hit. Yep. Alright, so he dodges it as he... swoops down... What was he using again? Attack. Fury attack. Fury attack. And his Pokemon. Yeah. Swoops down and tries to do a Fury attack and misses. So, water done. Ruining his coordination.

[02:31:21] Then Joltik. Uh... Livani is going to strike with a... Zap the hell out of the boat. Razor Leaf. So... Oh, man. Because if it's just raining, it's not really going to hit everything. It'd have to be standing. It hits the rope and misses the Arcanine. Hmm. Okay. That's all it does. Hilarious. It works, right? Yeah. Yeah. 13 damage.

[02:31:51] 6 damage. Well, electrocution planned. And it will cure him of his depression. You? You're out of your mind. What? Miles. Likely. I don't know what the fuck he's talking about, but I heard lightning and curative depression. That's not how shit works, let me tell you son. It is how shit works. They've proven it.

[02:32:21] Maybe you get struck by lightning and you're cured of depression? No, that electro shock therapy? Yeah. Only works for depression. Um... It's, uh... Um... They also use it to treat something else. Um... Schipfrenia. Apparently, you can zap the voices out of someone's head. Convenient. But yeah, I'll have to remember that.

[02:32:48] Apparently, it's only a temporary treatment because they will start to slip back into it after a while. Okay. So, the really bad schizophrenics, like the ones who are fucking locked up, they're locked up because they need that constant electro shock. Like, they get electro shock like every other day. Hmm. So... Yeah. So, schizophrenia? Depression. So, lightning can get depression. Alright. Okay.

[02:33:17] So, wait, why did he get half damage? Was it because he's... Because it's a grass type attack against a flying type Pokemon. Come on. I just wanted to know because... It's because I'm resistant. Yeah. Are you fucking... Oh, that's a seven. No, that's still a miss. Unless he has a fucking... What is it? 16 special defense. Nope. I didn't figure. Alright. Um... So, top of the round. Alright.

[02:33:47] What was he attacking with? Like a fire? Or a flamethrower? Yeah, a flamethrower. Yeah. It's still his best chance. Yeah. Flames pass through steam as the rain comes down. That's 18 to hit. Physical. 18 to hit? Yep, that hits. For fury attack. Yep. Sorry, I'll move this out there. I just don't have a whole lot of room. Dude, neither do I.

[02:34:15] If you're not in the game, just keep that up for me. Sweet! That is... 6. I didn't get anything. You did both? Yep. I don't get anything. Like, three weeks in a row and I haven't gotten a similar fucking thing. I've been gifted a fucking donut. A free donut.

[02:34:43] That's the only thing I've gotten in like three weeks of getting coffees every day. Where's the justice in that? I want that one. Free coffee. Merry Christmas. And you're giving it to me? Whoever bought it. Okay, yeah. Well, I should take it as Miles, but... There we go, so I gave it to Miles. Sorry, we're giving it to you. Damage-wise, what was that? 36. Jesus! Okay.

[02:35:13] I got all five attacks. Yeah, no, no. That's why. So there's just like a fury of just like, just stab wounds in this thing. While maximum five chances to hit, I got all five. Nice. Okay, yeah, this thing is just, like it's holy right now. But it's still up. Yeah, it's hurting but still up. It's not haggard. But it's going to attack and retaliate with a leaf, another leaf attack.

[02:35:45] There's a cold coffee. There's going to be a leaf. Is that so? What do you want, my coffee? I wonder if it's a winner. No, I've got a drink. Uh, that would be 22. I'm going to jump on it. I was just thinking last. If the guy's still up, then we can use either...

[02:36:14] Actually, I could fight him. Because most people are normal types, right? Garen is a fighting type. Times two damage against normals. Bam! The funny thing is, we could attribute that to that you're better trained than the average Joe. Hence fighting type. We have that all figured out for the new character sheet whenever it's ready up. Whenever I get that. Anyway... 21 to hit. With its leaf attack.

[02:36:43] He only does half damage to both. Okay. That was a... 14 damage. Minus it's 7. That being said, we only do a die 4 damage. Fail and fail. What was that? 7 damage to each? I take it the T is done. Oh, yeah.

[02:37:11] So we don't need the cups on the table anymore. Oh, shit. The tea is done. Where the fuck is the teapot? Right there. If you want tea, you can have tea. I think he meant like, is the tea actually done, like as we're no longer having any. Is that what you meant? Oh, if you want more, fuck, go ahead dude. I'll be eating if you want. No. No? No, we're done. Cool. We just set them here on the island. So, yeah. The teapot's my responsibility. Razor sharp leaves.

[02:37:41] Or, or, or sail your Pokemon, but they are resistant. Yes. And it is Growl, sorry, Arcanine's turn. Have you named Arcanine yet? Nope. That is a 20 weight. Nah, it's a 19 to hit. That'll hit. Yep, that'll hit. Alright.

[02:38:09] And this is the fire blaster, fire attack? Flamethrower. As a burst of flame surges toward the leafy, uh, leafy, uh, leafy, uh, leafy. 5 and 8 plus 15 damage. Okay. 15 damage. Alright, so. It's multiplied in half, so.

[02:38:36] He has been lit a flame, the dampness is not causing too much problem, but he's not aware we're, he's still hurting a lot. I have a percent chance to burn him. Yep. Because, from what we understand, he's against the bylaw. And, also doesn't seem to want to kill anyone. Based on the fact that he. Well, he's torched what, two houses now? Probably not ten. One house. Only one? It was like, one of those, again, it's like a bunkhouse.

[02:39:04] Yeah, so it was, he put two families out of a home by burning one house. Okay. Yeah. So he's probably gonna do his next thing as far away from there as possible. So there's a ten? Yep. Either way, the hoodoo will be watching. Okay. I figure, we would wait in like a sort of triangle. And when the hoodoo sees something. No burn.

[02:39:34] No burn? I'll go burn. So. So it's Lee Vanny's. Or, no, it's Fearos. Yep, Fearos turn. That's a hit. That 20, that hits. Yup. Because we have flying types as well. So the hoodoo can just relate to them. They can relate to us. So that'll make it a bit faster. Basically, this guy's getting caught.

[02:40:03] And we're gonna have, what, three witnesses? Yeah. Pokemon witnesses. And us. And us. So we'll get there. Yeah. Because he'll be at the scene of the crime. Hmm. Because he's not just gonna try and set a fire and run. He wants to make sure it burns. Although... That is... 30 damage. He's dead.

[02:40:33] Yeah, he's stabbed to death. Was it raining when the hoodoo hurt? Well that was a pluck, so that was like... Yeah, so he's being... Yeah, he's just eating. It's been raining for several days. The final blow is being devoured by the Fearow. Um... Because when he went into the town the first time... It was still raining. We had our... Yeah. Arcanine's a 16, Fearow's a 13. Previously? Arcanine's a 15. That's what was implied. Okay.

[02:41:03] This thing was actually 20. Yeah, I know. 7 and 69. 7 and 69? Yep. It's not a bing for Fearow, but... And then what was the other one? Arcanine is a 16. 625. Alright, hold on. What was Fearow again? Fearow was 7... Say it was 13? Yep. 7 and 69.

[02:41:36] Fucking close. 48 experience off. And then after this I would have been at home and... It was 625 for Arcanine? Yep. Okay. I'd have been at home and discussed the plan with Eric and John Wyff. Yep. Alright. With the Baron you mean? Yes, with the Baron. So what's the plan you guys are doing with the Owls?

[02:42:05] Or the Shekudoos? I have one question for you first. Yes. And the house was burned down. It was already been raining for a while since then, right? Um... The rain actually started the day after it burned down. You guys didn't really... Like, yeah, it burned down sometime before... Or sometime the day before. Alright, so the question is, is the guy gonna start a fire in the rain? Or is he gonna wait until it stops? Things are less likely to catch fire in the rain. Yeah.

[02:42:36] Yeah. And if he's not the sword to light a fire and run away, because he wants it to burn, then it's less likely he would do it because... He... there's more chance of him getting caught. Mhm. Well, in my case we wouldn't be doing anything tonight, now would we? Oh. After we till the weather clears up. Damn! Alright, alright. By the way, did anything happen with my plants? Um, what time is it now?

[02:43:04] Or you guys are like, been conversing and realizing that you're gonna have to go? It's been hours, like, we're planning out the whole time. Alright, well, it was three hours for him to do his... Yeah. Because it was three hours for me to do the town. Alright. Um, I will speed things up. You guys aren't doing anything in town then? Or you guys are just kind of like... Well, there's nothing we can do, because it's raining. Okay. Um, you guys... It's about mid... It's about, uh, it's getting close to dusk. Um, and, uh, you guys start hearing a rumbling outside.

[02:43:35] Okay, I head outside. Okay. Um, the... I should look at the window. Sproutlings are growing at a very rapid rate. Um, they start getting... Uh, they get about maybe five feet. Okay, so they immediately shoot to like saplings. Yep. Okay. Huh. That's cool. We discovered bone meal. Yeah. They're corn-bearing height now. So... In the summer, we'll all be able to craft Pokeballs for us. Yep.

[02:44:07] Um, pretty much what I had done was just roll a d20, and that was how many hours it was going to take for the shit to take effect. I see. Yeah. See, I didn't know for sure, because I figured if you didn't let... If nothing happened, my plan was to go out with a fucking shovel and fucking stab the earth at each one. That would have been hilarious. And see if I give it a fucking sharp impact if that activates the fucking powder. No. No, it's... The trees hurt. Like a fucking stab and a fucking, you know, get thrown back by this sudden rapid growth of a five-foot fucking sapling. Yeah.

[02:44:38] Well, you know, they just... Essentially, uh, is it fair to say that, like, that much rapid growth would have probably broken the pots, or were they now still... Uh, five-foot sapling in the pots I bought? Yeah. No. Okay. So there's still 11 pots. You can get a five-foot sapling in a pot that big. Pot what big? As big as that blue box. Oh, yeah, yeah. Easy. Yeah. So, you now have... That said, I will be transforming them to the earth and breaking the pots. Quickly. Oh. Well, maybe not breaking the pots. I'll probably, like, try and get... Maybe dump...

[02:45:07] Well, we've got a Pokemon to help lift us, lift them out of the fucking... Out of the fucking pots. Yeah, we do. Yeah, so... We just need to go hunting for Mitch Hamps and Chokes. Yeah. They would exist as much, right? Just dig a hole and fucking plant them. Where would... Yeah, where... That's the one thing. Where would... That's just it. In the world. They weren't on the list because they don't have any real animal analog. They're one of those things that went up in the air. Yeah. I kind of figured they'd be like... They'd be like dinosaurs, but I mean, they're not actually dinosaurs. They'd be like an urban. They're humanoid. That's true. Yeah. Like, they're fighting Pokemon. Like, they're not...

[02:45:37] They're not animals. I'll look at... They're dojo Pokemon. They're urban. That's true, yeah. So they'd be basically... We would be able to get them. It would probably be like a barter thing. Oh, no. Machop or Machops are often found in caves. Yeah. That's generally where you find Machops is in caves. And you guys do know that there are at least four Machamps in town. No, there's about five Machamps in town. Yeah. Because a handful of the... Like, the arena uses them as bruisers. It'd be in the caves. Yeah, so...

[02:46:06] We'd be able to find them in caves. They might actually... Yeah, they might just live in the underground. The Stonecutter uses them as well. Yeah, he has two of them. Cletus, I think, has one. At least. Or maybe he just borrows one from the arena. I still haven't really... It's just... I threw that up in the era's plot. It'll come when it happens. Yeah, so you have your... All your apricorns are now five feet tall. Cool. Alright. Well, I'll be repeating this process at least once you're twice more.

[02:46:36] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. He goes one up. Yeah. Which means I might do it with the berries as well, just to get the bushes started. Because that way I'm getting a stronger harvest the first year instead of later. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I can see it now. Squirrel's in the middle of the night, decides to take a leak on one of them. And then, short while later, he becomes a Torterra. What Pokemon? Oh. Oh.

[02:47:06] It's a Tertwig. It's a Tertwig. Um, well yeah. He's talking about making a grass-type turtle because he pissed on grass. Gotcha. Like, pissed on a plant and the fucking... Would Tertwig exist in this area too? Probably. Because it's kind of like a painted turtle. I kind of always saw it as a painted turtle or a snapping turtle. Probably a snapping turtle because the... Because it doesn't have any sort of tropical tree on it. Yeah. Or plant. In fact, it has a deciduous tree and it's based off all of them. And I always kind of picture the...

[02:47:34] If you think about it, those mountains that it's supposed to imitate on its back could be like a spiky shell. Yeah. Like... So yeah. It's probably on the list. That's also probably the same reason why Bulbasaur was not, because it has a freaking palm tree. Yeah, I know, I know, but... Come on. Yes and no. I mean, you can't really call it a palm tree because it's got flower petals off the top. Like, it doesn't have palm leaves until you look at its mega evolution. It also has vines though. There's vines in Canada, dude.

[02:48:04] There's vines in fucking Orillia. Not like vines like that stuck around. I'm not arguing that, but we're talking about a fucking plant... Like a plant-type creature that uses them as an attack. Yeah. Like... I'm just stating arguments. I'm not arguing the decision. Yeah. I'm just being that guy. That's all. It does make sense that they would exist a little bit farther south than Canada even. Though, again, you have to understand...

[02:48:32] As much as I understand that the Redwood Forest is a pine forest, it is still technically classified as a... It's a redwood forest. Not a pine forest. Sorry, yeah, but it is still considered a rainforest. Yeah. It's a boreal rainforest though. It's not... Yeah, okay. It's not a tropical rainforest. There's a difference. Alright. So, wait for the rain to stop. So fucking close. It's probably gonna strike at night. It's easier to hide and run away. Once that did actually bump up.

[02:49:00] Alright, so the next day, I'm going to question people. Find out when this fire happened. I'm assuming night just because it makes sense to me, but... Could be in broad daylight probably, though. But... The next day. So, I guess we're going to bed now? Yeah. Yeah, if you guys have anything else to do. Yeah, I'd assume so. I mean, I'm... I'm going to wait until fucking morning to do anything more with the fucking plants. Yeah. In fact, I might not even put them in pots.

[02:49:30] I might just put them straight in the fucking ground now that I know what kind of things do happen with it. Mm-hmm. Um... The question is, do we want to continue? I mean, it is almost three o'clock. We are just now finally getting the ball rolling with stuff because we... But we were extremely productive amidst the side chat. Yeah. There was rule shit going on. Yeah. Because we usually like to stop these at night or like when you guys are going to bed

[02:49:59] because that way, next morning, I can... This is the start of the next game. Yep. That makes sense. Okay. I'm actually going to do some updates to my notes. Yeah, we've had, um, what, two days passed so far? Yeah. Yeah, something like that. Ooh. I might not have the same ability anymore on Arcanine. Because he was a Grawlith before. Wouldn't it have all the same abilities like the Grawlith did? Ability not attack. Right. Sorry.

[02:50:28] I'm still not used to that jargon. I understand. It still makes sense that it'd be the same, but whatever. Um, some, some Pokemon's abilities change. Hmm. Um, the way they describe it in the game is basically if, if your ability was the second one on the list and when he evolves, that ability changes, you gain that new ability and lose the old one. Okay. It's also where they throw in that your Pokemon might have extra abilities.

[02:50:58] Because sometimes, um, a higher evolution will gain an extra ability that the other one didn't have access to at all. So you would gain that extra ability as well. Yep. No, I already got him. It doesn't change between Arcanine and Grawlith. Cool. So he stays the same. The first day was... Oh shit. The iOS version of the Pokemon X. That attack from Vero should have actually been 40 damage. Oh no. Because Vero's a sniper so he does triple damage on a critical. But it's weird how you get to it. Nice.

[02:51:29] Because I looked at Onyx and the only way I could access Steelix was through its evolutions. So Onyx has that evolution, I click on it and it gives me the page and the whole write-up for it. Hmm. Same with Leafeon. So, if it's an evolution that was added onto one of the original 151, it's accessible in this now. Nice. Yeah. Convenient. For me anyways. Because I now have just about all of our Pokemon here. Sweet! That's actually something that had textures up in half.

[02:51:59] Oh? It's just a list of all Pokemon. Oh, it doesn't have favorites or anything? No. Okay. Dude, that would be awesome. That's one of the reasons why I like this. It has the Poke Dex. What? It has a Move Dex, it has an Item Dex, it has favorites. And then you go into Tools and it has Stat Calculators and IV Calculators. I just got two new attacks for Arcanite. Nice. Because there's two attacks that he has access to upon leveling up.

[02:52:28] And I'm going to take both of them. Because why the fuck not? Yep. Because I don't really like Lear. Not on Arcanine at least. Arcanine's a fucking heavy hitter. I don't want him knocking people's defense down. That's what other Pokemon are for. But, Fire Fang and Thunder Fang sound fucking great. Holy crap. So the guys who made that Poke Dex app, they also made a Pokemon creator app. Oh really?

[02:52:56] That allows you to completely customize a Pokemon and then send it to your DS or 3DS to use in the actual games. What? Like a fake mark? Well no, like here's an example. Bulbasaur. They made him level 100 and they can just toss it into a DS or 3DS game. Yeah. That sounds like... It just does it through the wifi. Weird. That sounds like something Nintendo wouldn't approve of. No, of course not.

[02:53:24] And you'd get banned. Yeah. Sure sounds like it. Sounds like you'd get knocked the fuck off the Nintendo network for that. Yup. I always viewed it as a single player game anyway. Well, it's for trading. Well, for trading, yeah, I guess. It's designed to be a social single player game. Because the game is designed to force you to talk to other people and bug it and work with them, right? Two versions, right?

[02:53:54] Yeah. Well, generally at least three. Well, yeah. Normally you need at least two partners and you need to plan what you're going to do. Because you get one part... You know, one guy takes one Pokemon and then normally they end up doing a whole fucking circle. That's how I did it with red and blue. So I had a buddy that had red and another buddy who had blue. I had blue as well. We each picked different starters. And as soon as we got to the fucking town and were able to train, we'd keep our starters from evolving.

[02:54:20] And then I'd trade to one guy and then trade to the other and we'd keep trading until we're back with our originals. And then level them back up. Or we'd keep one that we'd switch to so that they gain extra experience. And fucking level them up and then swap them again. And that way everybody gets all the fucking Pokedex entries for them. Yeah. And you need it for things like fucking Omanyte and Kabuto because you can only get one or the other.

[02:54:50] Um... Yeah, they do that in like every game. Yeah. There's one fossil that you can only get one of. Yeah. It also gave you a fucking higher chance of getting all three legendary birds. Because then if one guy fucked up, you just fucking trade them. Gives you all your fucking trade evolutions. Like, uh... Gengar, Machoke... Or... Gengar Machamp and, uh... Alakazam. And later on things like Steelix. Yeah. I never played Gold or Silver on cartridge. I only played Red and Blue on cartridge.

[02:55:20] Until I got to fucking, uh... Well, I played Black for a little bit. I started playing Gold and I was like, There's nobody playing anymore. Why am I doing this? Yeah. So if you're done with your sheep there, I was going to fill you in on the plan. Oh, yeah. Go ahead. Alright. So once it stops raining, we are going to head out to the outskirts of the town. We're going to make a sort of triangle formation.

[02:55:50] So I'll be at one corner of the town, Joe will be at another corner of the town, and you'll be at a different corner of the town. We will have a Hoot Hoot flying up somewhere around the middle, watching for fires or light or anything out of place. Okay. It'd relay the mission to our flying types, who would return to us, and then we'd converge on them. When we get there, we'll have Munchie, Douse him, his water gun or whatever ability he has. And then Joltik will fry him. Okay.

[02:56:19] And whatever Pokemon he happens to have with him. Because if he's doing this for a fire type Pokemon, then he probably has a fire type with him. Probably. Yep. Yeah. And worse comes to worse, we do have our water types with us. I think Teddius is helpful there as well, because I think Rock Slide is good against fire types. Hmm. Well, you have a fire type. You're leveling up right now,

[02:56:49] what's a weak tier. Yeah, I'll find out in a second. Rock. Ground, rock, and water. Yeah, it's listed right there. So, yeah. So basically we are completely set. Teddius is good in that fight, and fuckin'... Onyx, Cubone. Yeah. Totodile. Jewels in particular. Rock and water. And I've got a Molga to help in the fuckin' zapping. Cause a Molga's got thunder. Hmm. Hmm.

[02:57:20] What does it do exactly? Well, considering that Chris wants to roll with the abilities that it fucks up fire types, thunder has a hundred percent hit chance during a storm. Yep. So, since there is currently a storm going on... Well, this is it. He's not gonna light any fire as well as storming, right? You never know, he might. In which case we'll end up going out every night and getting drenched every night. Dive pneumonia. Or dysentery. I don't know how it happens, but...

[02:57:50] Trench run. Yeah, that should happen in 1911. Or trench foot, rather. Yeah, but the difference is we can go home to a dry house. True. True. We're not stuck in a fuckin' trench. We're gonna go home and change our fuckin' clothes. So there's no need to get... There's no way to get trench foot. Okay. Okay. Trust me, I've had it. Mm-hmm. But yeah, how powerful is thunder? Thunder and a mulga's... You guys are putting skittos in this game because you guys are in the mountains. It is.

[02:58:20] In the wooded mountains. I was gonna use Electrowipe, which would also slow them down. Fuck, I didn't write it down for a mulga. Ha! You're gonna get the last. I think it's because I hadn't factored stab yet. I can't believe they have a poodle in this game. But I've got the chart for stab now, so it's not an issue. Thunder with a mulga is 4d4. Whoa! Yeah, because it's stab.

[02:58:46] It's a d10 by itself, but because of the stab bonus, it jumps up to like a 16. And we decided reliability over... Because it jumps up higher than 16. Just so you're aware, we are trying to capture him alive. Okay. What? Oh, the dude. We're trying to capture the dude alive. Yeah, yeah. We can kill his Pokemon. Yeah, alright.

[02:59:14] Although they're captured Pokemon, we assume. Oh, a mulga also has... A mulga also has Thunder Shock. So I don't have to use thunder. I can use Thunder Shock. Which is? I think it's like a d6 in fucking a mulga's paws. Yeah, it's a d6 for mulga. I'm not even lying. D6 plus...

[02:59:45] 3. There's Bleat and Leap, they call it Candy Pokemon. Okay, a mulga will use that. It's Confectionary. It's a fairy tale. And Joltik will use... What's it called? Electroweb. So that's a die plus 5, but it's also minus 1 speed. Oh. Because we assumed he wouldn't attack while it's raining because the last one was done when it was... Dry. Because it allows for easier set and run.

[03:00:12] It might even take a few days past the rain. Especially now that it's been raining 2 days. Yep. Yep. Because he's gotta wait for things to dry out a little bit. Depends on how fucking powerful his fire type is. Yeah, exactly. We don't know that yet. Like... If it was like, say, my Arcanine... My Arcanine, I wouldn't have any worries about starting a fire right now. And my Arcanine's only fucking level 17. But...

[03:00:40] I mean, I'm rolling 3d4 plus 7. Though that said in the rain, that's at half power. For all we know he could have like a Magmar or something. Yeah. Yeah, I'm at... That's actually at half power, so that's really more like... I think it's considered a d10. When it's unstabbed. Well, stab isn't double power. Stab is 50% power.

[03:01:11] Um... Plus 50%. This is actually halving it, so I'm rolling, you know, 3d4 plus 7 divided by 2. So... Minimum, 5. Maximum... Less than 10. Minimum's like 9. Still respectable. Well, the most damage I can do right now with Arcanine and Flamethrower is 19.

[03:01:41] That's standard damage. Not multiplied. But yeah, I figure we have a decent strategy for capturing this guy. The question is, when is he gonna show? Yeah. So I figure, if we slept tonight, we could ask Brandon Morrill, find out when he actually showed up. At night, during day, whatever. And my weaker fire attack actually has the potential to do the same amount of maximum damage. And has a higher minimum damage.

[03:02:11] Nope. Slightly lower minimum damage. His fire fang is a d10 plus 9. Because this is the difference between special and physical. Arcanine's physical attack's higher. Hmm. Okay. Yeah. And fire fang's a physical, so... Mm-hmm. I'm doing minimum 10. No, wait. I do... I have the same minimum damage and the same maximum damage for those two attacks. Hmm.

[03:02:40] Because fire fang has a physical attack, and physical's higher damage for me. Like, minimum... Minimum 10 standard, and maximum 19. I think the only weapon I have that's that powerful is my Biblium. Like I said, Arcanine jumped when I fucked up. Like, I knew his stats were gonna go up, but I wasn't expecting that kind of a stat increase. Like, it was just... It was crazy. Like, I got like a 2 point bonus on almost every fucking stat. Hmm. Jules.

[03:03:10] Yeah. Like, 2 bonus point bonus. Yeah, like, I rolled from a fucking like... I think I had... My stat sheet beforehand was listing Growlis' fucking bonus, like attack bonus as 6. And, uh... I'm fucking rolling like I got a plus 9 now. Yeah. Granted, that's a level and... That. But, uh...

[03:03:39] I don't think his level actually gives him all that much, to be fair. No, he'd still have a fucking plus 9. Hmm. I don't think he would've had a plus 9 before. I think he only had a plus 9 because of his EVs. Hmm. Because I've been, uh... I've been hunting Livannies. And the Livannies, uh, give, uh... All 3 EVs to, uh, attack. Hmm. That's why I've been hunting them.

[03:04:09] Every 2 I kill gives me a 1 point increase to those Pokemon. I should start hunting them too. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Especially with Cubone sucking so fucking bad. Except he doesn't get EVs. Yeah, you'd have to catch him for that. But... Not until he proves himself a problem. Nope. Well, this is it. I had no intention of ever capturing him. Okay. Do you not remember the backstory?

[03:04:38] I know the backstory. Follow me around. Okay. And yet you had him qualify... Wait, did you actually have him qualify in the, uh... In the arena? Yeah. But he's not yours. That's technically illegal, I'm just saying. No it's not. No one knows that it's not his. That's true, yeah. They just know that he doesn't keep him in a Pokeball. Besides, keep on agreeing to it. Alright. He just needed... He just needed a cover guy to...

[03:05:06] Okay, that was... Poketopia 1911. We are done. Oh, we can do this and whatnot.
