(Homebrew): Pokemon Prospectors - Episode 5: Corporate Secrets and Deals

And actually I'll even say with your, um, uh, Conlin, your, with your check, um, you actually even heard, uh, another sound amidst it. Uh, it sounded, uh, it's very muted, but it kinda sounded like, oh! Okay. It's that guy we heard last time who probably also damaged our Colosseum. No, no, no, that was a, uh, unfortunate graveler accident. So you say. Yes.

You see a ton of insect Pokemon, and bird Pokemon, running toward you guys, like at a fast pace, like a panicked pace. Like they just ignore you and just keep going past you. And you guys get, and as you get, well, if you're running toward this as well, you'd be

[00:17:13] getting, you'd be getting some bug and bird Pokemon going panicked away from this area. Couldn't be easier. And as you get closer, you start seeing trees coming down. And what's not just small trees, you have big trees that have been upheased. Like continuously coming down or already down? A couple of them have just, like a few of the last ones have just started crashing down the trees. But there's no more. Which bug Pokemon?

[00:17:42] Beedrills, weevils, all the lower, all the different types of all the different like evolutions. It's hard to grasp Pokemon that you get annoyed of. Cyphers? Roll me. Spot. Spot. Spot. It's the only thing we have to watch in this game. What's that, a five? That's a five. Oh wait. No, I don't. You don't see a cypher. What about a joltik? Ah, it's even worse. Joltik? I saw nothing. It's a electric flyer. It's a walker. It's a walker. Yeah, you guys are seeing all these like lower form of insects running by and a bunch

[00:18:11] of birds, like Pidgeys and Pidgeos flying by and some of that, but you're not seeing anything big. And you get far, the closer you get to this, you realize that like the ground has been completely upheavaled. There's boulders like just scattered, like where they fell. And there's giant timbers that have come down. Um, and you eventually get to what looks like a mix between a crater and um, a deep gouge in the earth, like for about 70 feet long and about maybe 10 feet across.

[00:18:40] And it, there's whole, and it looks like something burst through on one end and then went through the, on the other end. Or did we arrive at the time? Yeah, you guys all arrived roughly. You on one side of the 20 foot gouge. The fuck is this from? There's like boulders, like, like massive boulders. There's massive, like, yeah, like the, it looks like, like a bulldozer. Like in our time period, it would have been a bulldozer just came through and just started digging or like ripping through the earth. Hmm. So there's a big hole and then this patch of like ripped up ground and then another big hole. Yeah.

[00:19:09] Let's go down the hole. And tons of trees have been destroyed. There's gotta be rock type. Correct. All of which are fucked up by water. So we get my Totodile, your Amistar, and your Squirtle to fill the holes with water. Rachel's also there too. Thereby fucking up any Pokemon. Yeah, you have a Lepre Strait. Are we really filling this crater up with water? No, because water doesn't actually- Because I think Eric's all over that. Water actually doesn't attack the Pokemon, it's water attacks. I know.

[00:19:38] You can put an Onix in a river without hurting it. Same with a Growlip. And a Charmaine can go in just fine, just as to its tail stays above the water. Well, are we going down the hole? You guys can roll me a spot or a search check. Or you actually maybe want to roll a geology. I was talking quite good. 19. 19? Okay.

[00:20:04] With your spot, you noticed that these are really roughly done holes or tunnels. They probably could collapse in it, roughly. What were we rolling again? [00:21:00] There might be Pokemon like half buried in huge sloth of turned up land. Or destruction. Yeah. And hey, more timbers! I'm going to start searching through the rubble to see if there's any hurt Pokey. Okay. Roll me a- This would also be a search because you're- 18 plus 2, 20. Alright. Um, after a little bit of searching you find a half buried Pikachu. And it looks pretty- It's uh- Four Pies. Like horribly, like slit mangled.

[00:21:29] Horribly slightly mangled. I'm going to go sister and catch this- Only slightly horrible. Made in this wounded Pokemon. Meat! What? I have to catch them all. Um, so- I'm going to give it a potion first before he gets at it. Which one? A potion! It does kind of look- Like a healing potion. Those I bought, so you can't save it. Yeah, yeah, those ones are fine. They're manufactured. Those ones were previously purchased. Yeah. I didn't make any of those because I already had some. Yeah.

[00:21:56] Alright, you spray some potion on it and its wound starts healing. Reject. I already have an electric potion, but I'm not into it. I'm going to jump. I'm going to jump. You're a terrible person. Like I said, like I've said before, this game goes from grim dark to Saturday morning cartoon in ten seconds flat. Sometimes even more than that. You have to beat them up in order to capture them, so- I'm going to kick its fucking ass! Aw, poor thing.

Giselda, it seems that this Pokemon, this Pikachu, and everything- all the Pokemon around it have been accosted by a large onyx and a strange man standing on its head. [00:23:53] Okay, so I'm going to pass on the information to everybody else because I don't know anything about him, but- Also, you guys- It may be of you. Yeah. You guys also notice that somebody else or a couple of other people from town are coming to invent a hell of his event. One of which has a Smeargle running up behind it. I'm going to draw my gun to the crown. A Smeargle? Huh? A Smeargle? A Smeargle. Smeargle is this weird looking thing. It's a beagle artist Pokemon. With- Yeah, it's tail looking like a paintbrush. It's literally- It's based off of a beagle, but its tail has a paintbrush on it.

[00:24:23] Paintbrush. And it uses- and it draws and paints- And it has a painter's hat on its head. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've heard Diglett found a half-buried- Actually, excavated it. And he looks like a Pseudowoodo that lost one of its arms in the surge of Earth. Pseudowoodo, you say? It's a rock Pokemon. It looks like a tree. Yes. Catch it! Yep. Catch it, son of a bitch! Get squirtled out. Get that shit done. He's lost a limb! Fucking cow.

[00:25:44] But the guy with the Smeargle behind him, who also has curly hair and some sideburns and glasses. Kind of looks like a Jew. So it's- It's two halves of glass. It has like a nice suit on and some of that. And the Pokeball. Walks over and it's like- Can you tell me what size the Sonics was? Yes. Two halves of glass and has a little aluminum band around the middle. And did it have a man on its head? Yes. Do you know what it is? Let's see. Do you know what it is? Let's go! And they start running down into the tunnel.

[00:26:13] I'm gonna chase after them because clearly they know what's going on. Okay. I'm gonna- Hey son, safe! Where are you going? Get back here! What am I- Which- I'm going to kick his dog.
