[00:00:16] Hello and welcome to Al Dente Rigamortis. I'm Review Cultist.

[00:00:22] I'm Mikey, the East Ends for Evil.

[00:00:24] And I'm the Gamer in Yellow.

[00:00:26] And we're here to discuss those internet stories, most creepy and most pasta, and be critically silly doing it.

[00:00:32] And tonight we have...

[00:00:34] Halloween 64.

[00:00:37] Now some of you might be wondering, Cultist, Halloween was last week. Why are we doing another one?

[00:00:43] Well, Halloween 64, on top of not being really a Halloween-esque creepypasta, is one of those ones that I picked up off the definitive creepypasta iceberg from a while back.

[00:01:01] And is in fact a vidgepasta.

[00:01:03] So it appears to be some kind of a cursed video game creepypasta.

[00:01:07] It merely uses the Halloween 64 logo or title as like...

[00:01:13] It's the game that the character encountered at the time.

[00:01:16] Although apparently the name shifts, or the game itself changes.

[00:01:20] Both like media and format for the player.

[00:01:25] So I thought it was gonna be like Halloween as in the movie Halloween.

[00:01:29] Yeah, like it's just like a cursed like N64 version of like Halloween from like with Michael Myers and such.

[00:01:35] Yeah, I looked it up.

[00:01:37] I'm like there's no Halloween game for Nintendo 64.

[00:01:39] So I don't know what cursed game he's trying to find.

[00:01:42] Yeah, exactly.

[00:01:44] So Halloween 64, it's by Rhaegar on No Sleep.

[00:01:50] Rhaegar is spelled R-H-A-3-G-A-R in standard, you know, leet or internet lingo or internet spelling.

[00:02:00] Rathagar.

[00:02:01] Is it Rath?

[00:02:02] I guess it could be Rhaegar, yeah.

[00:02:04] If you want to pronounce Rhaegar.

[00:02:05] Rhaegar.

[00:02:06] It's like some of those like Slender vlogs where it's like tea time, where it's like...

[00:02:11] It's tea, which is like T-3-A, or T-3-A, and then it's like...

[00:02:17] And then time.

[00:02:20] Or I think there might even be like a two in there somewhere, but silent.

[00:02:24] Silent two?

[00:02:25] Yeah, silent number.

[00:02:26] Yeah.

[00:02:28] Or like, uh, like five zero two, which is like five and then zero, but the O is a zero

[00:02:33] and then two.

[00:02:37] Like the number five, the word zero, except in the word zero it's zero.

[00:02:43] Like the O is a zero, like the number.

[00:02:46] You're saying you're explaining leadspeak to someone who knows leadspeak, right?

[00:02:50] Fair enough, yes.

[00:02:51] It's fine.

[00:02:53] I get it.

[00:02:53] However, also Rhaegar is also J Speziale on creepposs.com.

[00:03:00] So you can check it out either no sleep or creepposs.com.

[00:03:03] And I invite you to do so.

[00:03:06] Um, before you start our episode, but wait.

[00:03:10] Yeah.

[00:03:10] Welcome back.

[00:03:13] Um, with that out of the way, I guess we should give our initial recommendations.

[00:03:17] Uh, I'm going to recommend this one.

[00:03:20] I'm not going to recommend this one.

[00:03:22] I am also going to recommend this one.

[00:03:28] I said, I need to have, I can have like some drum roll play.

[00:03:32] Yeah.

[00:03:35] Goddamn.

[00:03:36] Uh, well, let's, uh, let's dive into this and find out why we gave these, uh, recommendations

[00:03:40] the way we did and see if those change over the course of our discourse.

[00:03:44] Uh, starting with the rundown featuring, I guess, Rhaegar.

[00:03:49] Uh, it's not exactly Nair, but it's, it's, it's since this is kind of done up and no, uh,

[00:03:54] it was done.

[00:03:54] Like I read this on no sleep and that's the whole gimmick of no sleep is that the narrators

[00:03:59] are the character, the, the protagonists or the characters at least you're right.

[00:04:03] So, uh, yeah, the story is a warning and instructions on how to survive.

[00:04:07] If you find yourself with the same cursed video game popping up in your life as Rhaegar's, uh,

[00:04:14] this game will appear at your door and can assume the form of any game cartridge or disc.

[00:04:20] Uh, for Rhaegar, it was an N64 cartridge with no label or writing on it.

[00:04:26] Uh, when Rhaegar played the game, it opened as a Halloween 64 title and he could turn off

[00:04:36] or he couldn't turn off the game, uh, or even the console or the TV or even leave his house.

[00:04:43] Once he got into the, into the, um, uh, into the game itself.

[00:04:46] Um, entrapment.

[00:04:49] Um, you have, according to Rhaegar, you have 10 lives and.

[00:04:55] And the things that happen in the game happen for real.

[00:04:59] Q.

[00:05:00] You die in the game.

[00:05:01] You die for real, uh, stay alive slogan.

[00:05:03] There are currently three or there are, uh, three levels to this game.

[00:05:07] Uh, level one is a neighborhood and you just have to keep walking through it, avoiding the creeping darkness.

[00:05:14] And in real life, keep your concentration glued to the screen and keep playing no matter what this tries to distract you or you will lose a life.

[00:05:23] Uh, the game, uh, until.

[00:05:25] Hours.

[00:05:25] Yeah, four hours until the game.

[00:05:27] That is important.

[00:05:28] Yeah, yeah.

[00:05:29] Four hours, uh, until the game itself gets bored and eventually sends you to level two.

[00:05:36] Uh, in level two, it's a house.

[00:05:38] Uh, these levels are personalized or all these levels seem personalized to the, the player.

[00:05:43] So like, for instance, uh, the neighborhood is Rhaegar's old neighborhood from childhood.

[00:05:49] And then the house appears to be one that's familiar to him as well.

[00:05:53] Um, and you must collect all the weapons in the house, but you can't equip any of them or your character will commit suicide and you will lose a life.

[00:06:00] Um, it should also be noted that like, as you lose life, the first life you lose it, uh, it'll, uh, kill, it'll actually kill, uh, any pet that you have first in real life.

[00:06:11] Um, and then moving forward, like you'll just get sicker and worse.

[00:06:14] Like you'll feel like crap and crap, uh, or get sick or like has nose, have nosebleeds and all that kind of jazz.

[00:06:21] Um, the, the more lives you lose.

[00:06:24] So it's just not a fun time as you're playing this game.

[00:06:27] At all.

[00:06:27] Yeah.

[00:06:29] Um, and then once all the weapons are found in level two, you will move on to level three, which, uh, has you in front of a bed where a personalized person of some affection.

[00:06:40] Or a flick or affiliation to your life, uh, lays, and you must kill them with a weapon from level two.

[00:06:48] Uh, killing them means winning the game, but you physically feel the sensations and pains of harming and killing this person.

[00:06:58] Um, and that's about it.

[00:07:01] The game presumably goes off to a new victim.

[00:07:04] Um, Rhaegar kind of passed out at the end of the, after, after they finished the game.

[00:07:08] And I guess the game vanished.

[00:07:11] And, uh, now they're posting this online, hoping that it might find somebody, um, and, and warn them, or at least give them instructions, uh, in case the game comes across their path.

[00:07:24] Finn.

[00:07:26] So, uh, yeah, that's, uh, that's Halloween 64.

[00:07:29] And, uh, I suppose we'll move on to...

[00:07:32] Everyone tolerates the Grandway Inquisitions!

[00:07:34] At this point.

[00:07:35] Now, I have a very serious question for all of you guys.

[00:07:38] Did you categorize your notes by level?

[00:07:40] No, I'm kidding.

[00:07:42] Of course I did!

[00:07:43] Why wouldn't you?

[00:07:45] I did not.

[00:07:46] How?

[00:07:47] I didn't.

[00:07:48] Yeah, I didn't either.

[00:07:50] I was tempted to, and I was like...

[00:07:52] Sorry.

[00:07:52] Yeah.

[00:07:53] I was tempted to, and I was like, no, I don't, it's not really that necessary.

[00:07:57] No.

[00:07:58] Um, but I will...

[00:08:00] I appreciate the gag, though.

[00:08:01] Yeah.

[00:08:01] Well, I mean, after, like, the last days of October with all the chapters, like, I could not just, like, do that.

[00:08:10] So, uh, yeah, I'm gonna start with, uh, this thing for grammar acquisition.

[00:08:13] Um, be prepared to witness every terrible experience of your past.

[00:08:18] All of those things you have repressed, forgotten, or, and maybe even went to therapy to try work through it.

[00:08:29] So, I feel like it should say...

[00:08:33] Uh, so, uh, uh, forgotten, and maybe even went to therapy to try to work through it.

[00:08:40] Yeah.

[00:08:40] I know there's a lot of twos in there, but I think an extra two actually would help that sentence.

[00:08:46] Hmm.

[00:08:47] Do you mean extra two twos, or just one extra two?

[00:08:50] Well, one extra two, yeah.

[00:08:52] Oh, okay.

[00:08:52] Yep.

[00:08:53] I hate the English language.

[00:08:54] Too many twos, throw one away.

[00:08:56] Yeah.

[00:08:56] Yeah.

[00:08:58] See, right there, you can just throw one away, not two.

[00:09:01] Ah.

[00:09:03] I'll move on to the next one.

[00:09:03] Do you want to get rid of the two twos?

[00:09:06] Yes.

[00:09:07] Don't look good on me, I tried.

[00:09:09] And this is not a ballerina creepypasta, so let's move on.

[00:09:12] Yeah.

[00:09:14] Um, I'm gonna start with this one.

[00:09:15] Uh, my next one here is, uh, like the former levels, I believe that it custom-tailored to the person who is playing.

[00:09:23] So I think it should say, I believe that it's custom-tailored to the person who is playing it.

[00:09:30] Yeah.

[00:09:31] Mm-hmm.

[00:09:31] Um, or, I mean, alternatively, it could be, I believe that it custom-tailors, uh, to the person who's playing it.

[00:09:39] Yeah.

[00:09:39] Cause it's like, kind of like, it's like either making it, uh, like a, just changing up a little bit, like, so it like, but like, not like changing the tense at all or anything like that.

[00:09:47] So.

[00:09:48] Mm-hmm.

[00:09:48] I actually prefer it that way, personally.

[00:09:50] Yeah.

[00:09:50] Mm-hmm.

[00:09:51] Uh, and then my last one here, I saw the body, my best friend who passed away 10 years ago.

[00:09:58] I believe that's, I saw the body of my best friend who passed away 10 years ago.

[00:10:06] But, uh.

[00:10:07] Was it otherwise?

[00:10:08] Uh, I believe the body, my best friend who passed away.

[00:10:12] A little caveman speech, but that's fine.

[00:10:14] It happens.

[00:10:16] Yep.

[00:10:17] Happens to the best of us.

[00:10:18] Uh, but that is the end of my grammar acquisition.

[00:10:20] So, Mikey, these stands for evil.

[00:10:23] Uh, I have an It story.

[00:10:25] And now, an It story with Mikey, the E stands for evil.

[00:10:30] Take it away.

[00:10:31] It can disguise itself under any platform and does not abide by the rules of our universe.

[00:10:40] It had manifested itself into a blank Nintendo 64 cartridge with no writing or sticker logo and was placed outside my front door with no note or instruction.

[00:10:54] It also displayed a few fake dev companies like Eulogy Inc. and Glass Breath Software.

[00:11:04] It does not matter how hard you pull.

[00:11:09] It will stay locked in place.

[00:11:12] It is best to not equip them, as your character will only use them to commit suicide, thus resulting in the loss of more lives.

[00:11:24] It took me 20 minutes to stab them to death.

[00:11:28] And I could barely hold the controller when it was over.

[00:11:33] Same.

[00:11:35] Wow.

[00:11:36] So, I kind of got the impression that, like, he was just stabbing this cartridge 20, like, for 20 minutes until it died.

[00:11:45] The way that I saw it is, like, he's describing, like, whatever it is, and then he says, like, it's the cartridge.

[00:11:51] Then, like, it's on his front porch.

[00:11:53] But then it's, like, it's a blank cartridge, but it's also displaying the titles of different devs.

[00:12:00] So, I don't know if those are, like, holographically floating over it or if they're actually on the cart.

[00:12:05] And then it's, like, you can't pick it up or something like that, no matter how hard you try.

[00:12:10] So, like, he's bending over trying to pick it up and it's just glued to his porch.

[00:12:16] Yep.

[00:12:19] Fair.

[00:12:19] Fair.

[00:12:20] Those are the kind of weird visuals you get when, like, he grabs all the sentences in the story that start with words that they probably shouldn't.

[00:12:26] Like, it's ends or buts, because there's always better words to use.

[00:12:29] Indeed.

[00:12:31] Gamer, what do you get?

[00:12:31] Having said, this one's sort of informal.

[00:12:33] Yeah.

[00:12:33] Because it's just, like, whatevs.

[00:12:36] Yeah.

[00:12:36] I mean, this is, like, borderline a ritual pasta.

[00:12:39] Oh, it's, yeah.

[00:12:40] Yeah, it is.

[00:12:41] It's a ritual pasta, but it's not, like, it's a warning about, like, it's like, all right, look, if you find yourself in this situation, here's how you get it.

[00:12:48] Here's how you progress through.

[00:12:49] Yeah, it's a protection pasta.

[00:12:51] Yeah, yeah, it's a ritual.

[00:12:53] It's a helpful ritual pasta.

[00:12:55] It's not one that's, like, a conventional one where you're trying to, like, summon something.

[00:12:59] I should bring this up in my actual thoughts a little bit, but.

[00:13:01] Anti-ritual pasta, technically.

[00:13:03] Yeah.

[00:13:04] Yeah, okay.

[00:13:05] There needs to be, like, that needs to be a subgenre within that subgenre of creepypasta, which is already a subgenre of, like, literature and medium online.

[00:13:16] Instruction pastas.

[00:13:19] Instructional pastas.

[00:13:19] I mean, and, like, technically, like, a lot of analog horror that's coming out nowadays might even, like, fall into that niche because, like, a lot of it is instructional, like, videos.

[00:13:32] Or, like, that kind of, like, VHS instructional video format on how to deal with, like, certain supernatural threats.

[00:13:38] So, like, actually, that all, I think that already exists.

[00:13:41] It's just called analog horror.

[00:13:42] Yes.

[00:13:43] Or at least analog horror falls into that category.

[00:13:46] Yeah, because this isn't analog horror.

[00:13:48] No, this is.

[00:13:49] Actually, is it?

[00:13:49] I mean, no, no, this is definitely.

[00:13:51] If this was done in, like, again, like, a grainy, like, video format, like.

[00:13:58] No, what he saw exactly.

[00:13:59] The graininess of it.

[00:14:00] No, no.

[00:14:01] I mean, like, the instructions.

[00:14:03] If they were done up, like, an old, like, instructional video.

[00:14:06] Yes.

[00:14:07] And not, like, post on Reddit No Sleep or something like that as a warning kind of thing.

[00:14:10] But the story itself is analog.

[00:14:13] Oh, yeah.

[00:14:13] Like, through an old cart.

[00:14:15] Kind of.

[00:14:15] I mean, again, that's, like, analog horror is more about, like, the instructional aspect of it.

[00:14:19] Okay.

[00:14:19] The old analog, like, VHS instructional videos that you see that you'd get at work and such.

[00:14:25] Fair enough.

[00:14:26] Yeah.

[00:14:26] Although now I think about it, like, also, like, those, like, PowerPoint presentation things and those, like, quizzes they have to do for, like, WMIS and stuff like that.

[00:14:33] Like, like, at work nowadays, I think those might actually fall under analog horror if you were to make them, like, an analog horror thing as well.

[00:14:39] Because they usually do them, like, they're usually, like, from, like, a couple of years back when, like, it was, like, not analog, but, like, old school, like.

[00:14:49] Internet styling or, like, old school, like, computer, like, instructions.

[00:14:56] But I digress.

[00:15:01] So, Gamer, do you have any grammar in yellow?

[00:15:05] Um, yeah, kind of.

[00:15:07] Okay.

[00:15:10] It's, like, it's sort of grammar, sort of not, but regardless.

[00:15:14] I'll read this quote.

[00:15:15] Like former levels, I believe that it custom-tailored to the person who was playing.

[00:15:20] Again, this level remains in first-person view.

[00:15:23] You will enter a bedroom and see a person lying on the bed asleep.

[00:15:27] They may resemble a loved one, a friend, or yourself.

[00:15:30] So, I'm bringing this whole couple of lines up.

[00:15:33] A few lines up, I guess.

[00:15:35] Because, like, the wording of it seemed weird to me.

[00:15:38] Specifically because, like, if this game is custom-tailored to the person.

[00:15:45] Yeah.

[00:15:47] This, like, whole level layout could be different.

[00:15:51] It could not just be the person that's different in the level.

[00:15:56] Like, how...

[00:15:59] Also, like, how does Nair, Rhaegar, whatever,

[00:16:05] um, know that it can only be a loved one, a friend, or yourself?

[00:16:10] Like, this line is kind of talked like,

[00:16:14] Nair made the game?

[00:16:16] Yeah, maybe there should be, like, an ad bit where, like,

[00:16:19] the game tells you, like,

[00:16:22] um, you must kill this, uh, you must kill your loved one,

[00:16:24] or something like that, or you must kill your friend, kind of thing.

[00:16:26] Well, that doesn't matter, because, like,

[00:16:27] again, if these levels are custom-tailored to the person,

[00:16:32] um, how would Nair know all the different variables?

[00:16:36] I actually...

[00:16:37] Because he only has one instance of it.

[00:16:39] Like, technically, he does know all the variables,

[00:16:42] because Nair is also the writer in real life.

[00:16:46] But, yeah.

[00:16:47] The game, uh, the story actually does, uh,

[00:16:50] explain this in the first line.

[00:16:53] I had heard rumors of the game's existence

[00:16:55] on various gaming sites and message boards.

[00:16:58] But I had never guessed it was, it to be real.

[00:17:01] So, he could have read other people's accounts.

[00:17:06] You know what? That's fair.

[00:17:07] Yeah.

[00:17:08] Okay.

[00:17:09] Because, yeah, just...

[00:17:11] But that's a good point.

[00:17:12] From him going through,

[00:17:13] from him going through on his own experience of this,

[00:17:17] not reading other people's accounts,

[00:17:19] it would seem weird to assume

[00:17:21] that it could be this or that or the other.

[00:17:23] Yeah, unless they had, like, in-depth knowledge

[00:17:26] on, like, the mechanics of the game.

[00:17:29] Yeah.

[00:17:29] It's sort of like, yeah.

[00:17:31] And actually, I'll even feel like,

[00:17:33] that falls like, yeah,

[00:17:33] are you the creator of this game?

[00:17:35] Like, are you secretly the creator?

[00:17:37] They just, like, what have I done?

[00:17:38] Oh, no.

[00:17:39] Like, here's the rules, guys.

[00:17:40] Uh, I fucked up.

[00:17:41] I'm sorry.

[00:17:44] Which, actually, that would be a really cool idea.

[00:17:45] Like, like, like, uh, set up.

[00:17:47] It's just, like, the creator...

[00:17:48] It's sort of like Frankenstein's remorse

[00:17:50] for, like, creating his monster.

[00:17:52] Yeah.

[00:17:53] Like, Dr. Frankenstein.

[00:17:54] Mm-hmm.

[00:17:55] Um, and he's just like,

[00:17:57] oh, shit, I've done fucked up.

[00:17:58] Um, I gotta write down, like, some notes,

[00:18:00] some instructions, some warnings.

[00:18:02] I gotta get this out.

[00:18:04] I actually kind of want there to be a story

[00:18:06] like that somewhere.

[00:18:10] Also, though, to counter you,

[00:18:13] if he heard rumors and read about it online,

[00:18:16] other people would have done a walkthrough

[00:18:19] of what happened,

[00:18:20] and he wouldn't have lost as many lives as he did.

[00:18:24] For, like, for example,

[00:18:25] walking into the dark at the first level,

[00:18:27] like, he would have known

[00:18:28] if other people did it.

[00:18:30] I mean, like, again,

[00:18:31] it depends on, like, um, how,

[00:18:33] like, because some of those,

[00:18:34] a lot of those accounts online,

[00:18:35] like, I don't know if you've ever read,

[00:18:36] like, like, well, we,

[00:18:37] we read stories like this all the time

[00:18:39] on, like, message board,

[00:18:40] like, from message boards

[00:18:41] or gaming sites, presumably,

[00:18:42] um, where it's just, like,

[00:18:44] random stories or, like,

[00:18:45] just, like, an encounter.

[00:18:46] It's like, hey, I had this weird thing here,

[00:18:47] like, but, like,

[00:18:49] sometimes the walkthroughs,

[00:18:49] or, like, the supposed walkthrough

[00:18:51] can be incomplete.

[00:18:52] So, like, it doesn't tell you everything,

[00:18:54] but, like, just gives, like,

[00:18:55] some details about, like,

[00:18:56] the levels and stuff like that.

[00:18:59] Or what I'm trying to get at

[00:19:00] this whole time is

[00:19:02] every level is completely

[00:19:04] custom tailored to the person.

[00:19:07] So it doesn't matter.

[00:19:09] Like, yeah, the first level in this

[00:19:10] was during a Halloween walk,

[00:19:13] but, like, if I picked it up,

[00:19:15] it could be

[00:19:17] freaking, freaking anything.

[00:19:18] I mean, it's called Halloween,

[00:19:19] but for all I know,

[00:19:20] I could plug it in

[00:19:21] and it would say

[00:19:22] Christmas 64.

[00:19:23] Yeah.

[00:19:24] Oh, or, like, for you,

[00:19:26] for gamers specifically,

[00:19:27] like, it says my version of the game

[00:19:29] has been titled,

[00:19:30] it's titled itself Halloween 64.

[00:19:32] Yours could have been Warframe 64,

[00:19:33] and so, like, level one,

[00:19:35] it's a mission where you have to run

[00:19:37] through an endless corridor,

[00:19:38] like, ninja,

[00:19:39] like, as a Warframe ninja,

[00:19:40] but you can't, like,

[00:19:42] deviate at all,

[00:19:42] and, like, there's a creeping

[00:19:43] darkness coming at you.

[00:19:45] And then, like, the next one

[00:19:47] is, like, a retrieval mission

[00:19:48] in, like, level two

[00:19:49] where you're trying to, like,

[00:19:50] gather up these, like,

[00:19:51] the different, like,

[00:19:53] items and stuff like that

[00:19:53] are on the map.

[00:19:54] And then number three

[00:19:56] is you have to kill,

[00:19:56] suddenly, like,

[00:19:57] the lotus is there,

[00:19:58] like, on the bed.

[00:20:00] You have to kill her.

[00:20:02] Yeah.

[00:20:04] Fair.

[00:20:04] The lotus is also your mom.

[00:20:06] Or your lotus is also,

[00:20:07] like, a loved one

[00:20:08] kind of thing, yeah.

[00:20:10] The way you said that

[00:20:11] reminded me of that

[00:20:13] Tilling the Soil remix

[00:20:14] from Game Grumps.

[00:20:16] The lotus is your mom.

[00:20:17] Yeah.

[00:20:19] God damn it.

[00:20:20] You said it was, like,

[00:20:21] the same cadence and everything.

[00:20:22] Yeah.

[00:20:23] Well, you've had that, like,

[00:20:24] stuck in your head, so.

[00:20:25] Yeah, yeah.

[00:20:26] Yeah.

[00:20:28] But, yeah.

[00:20:30] Also,

[00:20:32] since this is a recounting

[00:20:33] of past events,

[00:20:34] shouldn't the tents

[00:20:35] also have it

[00:20:36] all be in the past,

[00:20:37] not in the present?

[00:20:38] You know,

[00:20:39] I honestly didn't bug me

[00:20:40] as much in this

[00:20:42] than it should have,

[00:20:43] probably,

[00:20:44] but,

[00:20:45] yeah,

[00:20:45] you're not right.

[00:20:46] You're not wrong.

[00:20:46] It should all be

[00:20:47] kind of past tense,

[00:20:48] like,

[00:20:50] yeah.

[00:20:51] Either way,

[00:20:51] the way that I rewrote

[00:20:53] that entire bracket

[00:20:54] that I read

[00:20:56] to put it in

[00:20:57] a past tense,

[00:20:58] which I felt better,

[00:20:58] and to explain

[00:21:00] that this isn't

[00:21:02] set in stone

[00:21:04] is like this.

[00:21:05] Like former levels,

[00:21:06] I believe that's custom

[00:21:07] tailored to the person

[00:21:07] who's playing.

[00:21:08] Again,

[00:21:09] this level remained

[00:21:10] in first person.

[00:21:11] I entered a bedroom

[00:21:13] and saw a person

[00:21:14] laying on the bed asleep.

[00:21:16] For your playthrough,

[00:21:17] they might resemble

[00:21:18] a loved one,

[00:21:18] a friend,

[00:21:19] yourself,

[00:21:19] or God knows what else.

[00:21:21] Yeah,

[00:21:22] that works.

[00:21:22] You're basically saying,

[00:21:23] like,

[00:21:23] it could be anything.

[00:21:24] I don't know.

[00:21:24] This is what it was for me.

[00:21:26] God,

[00:21:26] that would be so fucked up

[00:21:27] because,

[00:21:27] again,

[00:21:28] like,

[00:21:28] earlier on,

[00:21:28] it says,

[00:21:29] like,

[00:21:29] if you lose your first level,

[00:21:31] any pet that you have

[00:21:32] would die.

[00:21:33] Like,

[00:21:34] first.

[00:21:34] And then,

[00:21:35] like,

[00:21:35] you get into level three,

[00:21:36] and,

[00:21:36] like,

[00:21:36] the thing that you cherish

[00:21:37] most is in the bed.

[00:21:38] It's your dog.

[00:21:39] Yeah.

[00:21:40] But your dog's dead

[00:21:41] in real life

[00:21:42] from,

[00:21:43] from,

[00:21:43] like,

[00:21:44] losing a life.

[00:21:44] So it's like,

[00:21:47] you know,

[00:21:47] game,

[00:21:47] this really doesn't have

[00:21:48] as much gravitas

[00:21:49] after you,

[00:21:50] like,

[00:21:50] you kind of,

[00:21:50] like,

[00:21:52] what's the word?

[00:21:53] You kind of,

[00:21:54] blew your load

[00:21:55] in,

[00:21:56] like,

[00:21:56] the first level.

[00:21:59] You say that,

[00:22:00] but would you even

[00:22:01] be able to do it?

[00:22:03] Oh,

[00:22:03] that's true,

[00:22:03] yeah.

[00:22:04] Obviously,

[00:22:05] even if it's a

[00:22:06] simulacrum,

[00:22:06] like a digital

[00:22:07] simulacrum,

[00:22:07] I could not.

[00:22:09] Yeah.

[00:22:11] But,

[00:22:12] yeah,

[00:22:12] like,

[00:22:12] it's still,

[00:22:12] like,

[00:22:13] I'm just saying,

[00:22:13] like,

[00:22:14] I mean,

[00:22:15] the person's already

[00:22:16] dealt with that trauma

[00:22:16] in real life,

[00:22:17] like,

[00:22:17] moments ago,

[00:22:18] or maybe hours ago,

[00:22:20] depending on how long

[00:22:20] it took them to get

[00:22:21] through the game.

[00:22:21] Oh,

[00:22:22] yeah.

[00:22:23] At the same time,

[00:22:24] also,

[00:22:25] like,

[00:22:25] grieving doesn't end

[00:22:26] after a few hours,

[00:22:28] so,

[00:22:28] like,

[00:22:28] it could almost be,

[00:22:29] like,

[00:22:29] opening the wound fresher,

[00:22:31] like,

[00:22:32] all right,

[00:22:33] your dog's physically dead,

[00:22:34] and now time to kill its soul.

[00:22:36] It's like,

[00:22:36] oh,

[00:22:39] if that was the loved one

[00:22:41] or the cherished person

[00:22:42] that was on the bed.

[00:22:43] Yeah.

[00:22:44] That's basically,

[00:22:45] like,

[00:22:45] the creepy demon thing

[00:22:47] sprinkling salt

[00:22:48] on the open wound.

[00:22:49] Basically,

[00:22:50] yeah.

[00:22:50] Let me just,

[00:22:50] let me just,

[00:22:51] let me just hammer this home.

[00:22:56] This,

[00:22:57] this misery machine

[00:22:58] that it is.

[00:22:59] That's what it is,

[00:23:00] really.

[00:23:00] It's just a fucking misery.

[00:23:02] It's literally,

[00:23:02] like,

[00:23:02] the literal interpretation

[00:23:04] of the,

[00:23:04] of the saying,

[00:23:05] a misery machine.

[00:23:07] Yeah.

[00:23:08] It's like,

[00:23:09] what's it even getting

[00:23:09] out of this?

[00:23:10] But that's a note

[00:23:11] for another day.

[00:23:12] I,

[00:23:12] yeah,

[00:23:12] I think that's an actual

[00:23:13] pardon me.

[00:23:15] Yeah.

[00:23:16] Yes.

[00:23:17] But that's all I got

[00:23:18] for grammar,

[00:23:18] honestly.

[00:23:19] All right.

[00:23:20] Well,

[00:23:20] on to actual thoughts then.

[00:23:23] So I'm going to start

[00:23:24] with the first paragraph

[00:23:25] of the story,

[00:23:26] for the most part.

[00:23:30] I had heard rumors

[00:23:31] of the game's existence

[00:23:32] on various gaming sites

[00:23:33] and message boards,

[00:23:34] but I never guessed

[00:23:36] it to be real.

[00:23:37] I spent a little

[00:23:38] over a year

[00:23:39] trying to track down

[00:23:40] a copy,

[00:23:41] but came up

[00:23:41] empty handed.

[00:23:43] That was until

[00:23:44] a few weeks ago

[00:23:45] when the game

[00:23:46] decided to find me.

[00:23:47] I am here to beg you,

[00:23:49] do not go look at

[00:23:50] looking for it.

[00:23:51] If an unfamiliar game

[00:23:53] shows up at your door,

[00:23:54] leave it be.

[00:23:55] It can disguise itself

[00:23:57] under any platform

[00:23:58] and does not abide

[00:24:00] by the rules

[00:24:01] of our universe.

[00:24:02] If you are unfortunate

[00:24:03] or stupid enough

[00:24:04] to play it,

[00:24:05] I will provide

[00:24:05] instructions below

[00:24:06] to hopefully give you

[00:24:08] a fighting chance.

[00:24:09] This is the most

[00:24:11] creepypasta-y creepypasta

[00:24:13] to ever creepypasta.

[00:24:13] Creepypasta.

[00:24:15] Wow.

[00:24:16] It's got so many tropes

[00:24:18] in the first paragraph

[00:24:19] alone.

[00:24:22] It definitely feels

[00:24:23] like a love letter

[00:24:24] to this type of creepypasta,

[00:24:26] like cursed fidgetpasta

[00:24:27] with a dash of,

[00:24:29] again,

[00:24:29] the ritual pasta,

[00:24:30] but not exactly

[00:24:32] a ritual pasta,

[00:24:32] more of an instructional pasta.

[00:24:34] Um,

[00:24:36] and so,

[00:24:36] like,

[00:24:37] I,

[00:24:37] again,

[00:24:38] like,

[00:24:38] I'm really digging

[00:24:39] the vibe of the story,

[00:24:41] just,

[00:24:41] like,

[00:24:41] already with the,

[00:24:42] in the first paragraph,

[00:24:43] because it's just like,

[00:24:44] this is the most creepypasta

[00:24:45] of creepypastas.

[00:24:46] Like,

[00:24:46] you got,

[00:24:47] like,

[00:24:47] a guy looking

[00:24:48] on a message board,

[00:24:49] um,

[00:24:50] trying to track down

[00:24:51] this creepy game,

[00:24:52] the game finds him,

[00:24:54] like,

[00:24:54] and it's,

[00:24:54] it,

[00:24:55] it,

[00:24:55] it's a video game

[00:24:56] that changes its form

[00:24:56] to,

[00:24:57] like,

[00:24:57] match you,

[00:24:57] and if you die in the game,

[00:24:59] you die for real

[00:24:59] kind of stuff.

[00:25:00] And,

[00:25:00] and again,

[00:25:01] like,

[00:25:01] the tropes go on

[00:25:02] throughout the story.

[00:25:02] So it's like,

[00:25:03] this person,

[00:25:03] whoever,

[00:25:04] like,

[00:25:04] for,

[00:25:05] um,

[00:25:06] uh,

[00:25:06] for the author,

[00:25:07] like,

[00:25:07] writing this,

[00:25:07] like,

[00:25:08] this is clearly,

[00:25:08] like,

[00:25:09] a love letter

[00:25:09] to cursed fidgetpastas.

[00:25:11] Or at least,

[00:25:12] that's how it feels like

[00:25:13] to me.

[00:25:14] Um,

[00:25:15] uh,

[00:25:16] that,

[00:25:19] I understand the,

[00:25:21] the appeal of trying

[00:25:22] to hunt down creepypastas,

[00:25:23] like,

[00:25:23] like,

[00:25:24] actual creepypasta artifacts

[00:25:25] and such.

[00:25:26] But why?

[00:25:27] Like,

[00:25:27] after you've read all the

[00:25:28] instructions,

[00:25:29] the rumors,

[00:25:29] and,

[00:25:29] and,

[00:25:30] like,

[00:25:30] and,

[00:25:30] like,

[00:25:30] heard all the rumors

[00:25:31] and stuff,

[00:25:31] the stories about this

[00:25:32] game's existence,

[00:25:34] a message board and stuff

[00:25:34] of that,

[00:25:35] and you spent a year

[00:25:36] trying to track it down.

[00:25:39] It's just like,

[00:25:40] but why?

[00:25:42] Like,

[00:25:43] if you're aware

[00:25:43] of what it does,

[00:25:45] what is the benefit?

[00:25:48] Well,

[00:25:48] to basically see

[00:25:49] if it's real.

[00:25:51] I guess,

[00:25:51] yeah,

[00:25:51] like,

[00:25:52] that's,

[00:25:52] and again,

[00:25:52] like,

[00:25:52] I,

[00:25:53] I also understand

[00:25:53] that angle,

[00:25:54] because again,

[00:25:54] like,

[00:25:55] I'm me.

[00:25:56] What's the believe?

[00:25:57] Yeah.

[00:25:58] Um,

[00:26:00] but also,

[00:26:01] um,

[00:26:01] uh,

[00:26:01] and also something

[00:26:02] that I'm actually

[00:26:02] going to bring up

[00:26:03] now,

[00:26:03] because it's,

[00:26:04] uh,

[00:26:04] it didn't hit me

[00:26:05] until,

[00:26:05] like,

[00:26:05] we were talking

[00:26:06] about,

[00:26:06] like,

[00:26:06] literally moments

[00:26:07] ago.

[00:26:08] This thing's a

[00:26:08] fucking,

[00:26:09] uh,

[00:26:09] psychic vampire mimic.

[00:26:12] I,

[00:26:12] I think that's how

[00:26:13] I'm going to,

[00:26:13] I would explain this

[00:26:14] thing if I was to

[00:26:15] throw it into,

[00:26:16] like,

[00:26:16] um,

[00:26:17] like,

[00:26:17] throw this kind

[00:26:17] of idea into a,

[00:26:18] like,

[00:26:18] a game scenario.

[00:26:20] Um,

[00:26:20] it's,

[00:26:21] it's a mimic,

[00:26:21] so it can assume

[00:26:22] the form of,

[00:26:23] like,

[00:26:23] any video game

[00:26:24] medium or thing

[00:26:25] to be played.

[00:26:26] And then,

[00:26:27] um,

[00:26:28] it has some kind

[00:26:29] of,

[00:26:29] like,

[00:26:29] real,

[00:26:30] some kind of,

[00:26:30] like,

[00:26:30] minor reality

[00:26:31] altering,

[00:26:32] like,

[00:26:32] effects.

[00:26:33] But also,

[00:26:34] it,

[00:26:35] I,

[00:26:35] I guess the thing

[00:26:36] it gets out of it

[00:26:36] is,

[00:26:37] like,

[00:26:37] the misery

[00:26:37] that the,

[00:26:38] of the player.

[00:26:39] So,

[00:26:39] like,

[00:26:39] the psychic energy

[00:26:40] of misery

[00:26:40] and,

[00:26:41] like,

[00:26:41] and,

[00:26:41] like,

[00:26:41] pain,

[00:26:42] like,

[00:26:42] emotional pain

[00:26:44] of the player.

[00:26:46] It's definitely

[00:26:47] something that

[00:26:47] would have,

[00:26:48] like,

[00:26:48] been created

[00:26:48] by,

[00:26:49] like,

[00:26:49] something from,

[00:26:50] like,

[00:26:50] the madness

[00:26:51] dimension in

[00:26:52] D&D.

[00:26:55] Um,

[00:26:55] if it was,

[00:26:56] like,

[00:26:56] tossed into,

[00:26:57] like,

[00:26:57] a D&D

[00:26:57] modern game.

[00:26:58] But,

[00:27:00] um,

[00:27:02] and then,

[00:27:02] so,

[00:27:03] yeah,

[00:27:03] like,

[00:27:03] all,

[00:27:04] all this story,

[00:27:05] like,

[00:27:05] seems,

[00:27:06] yeah,

[00:27:06] and like I said,

[00:27:07] like,

[00:27:07] this story seems

[00:27:07] mighty appropriate

[00:27:08] for me,

[00:27:08] uh,

[00:27:09] as I,

[00:27:09] as I live

[00:27:10] and possibly die

[00:27:11] for this sort

[00:27:12] of scenario.

[00:27:12] Or so I thought,

[00:27:13] and then we got

[00:27:14] later in this story,

[00:27:15] we get this,

[00:27:15] uh,

[00:27:16] quote here.

[00:27:17] Certain aspects

[00:27:18] in the game

[00:27:18] will be mirrored

[00:27:19] in reality.

[00:27:20] Any pets

[00:27:21] you own

[00:27:22] will die

[00:27:22] as soon

[00:27:23] as you lose

[00:27:23] a life.

[00:27:24] Never mind,

[00:27:25] I no longer

[00:27:25] want to find

[00:27:25] this game.

[00:27:26] Uh,

[00:27:27] even I have

[00:27:28] limits,

[00:27:28] and,

[00:27:29] uh,

[00:27:29] there's not a line

[00:27:30] I'm willing to cross.

[00:27:31] It's only a problem

[00:27:32] if the pet dies,

[00:27:32] so if you just

[00:27:33] don't suck at

[00:27:34] video games,

[00:27:34] you're fine.

[00:27:35] Yeah,

[00:27:35] it's literally

[00:27:36] the get good

[00:27:37] scrub.

[00:27:38] Yeah.

[00:27:40] Yeah.

[00:27:42] Um,

[00:27:43] but moving on

[00:27:44] to the next

[00:27:44] part of my notes

[00:27:45] here,

[00:27:45] uh,

[00:27:46] we got this

[00:27:47] quote here.

[00:27:48] The main title

[00:27:49] screen showed

[00:27:50] the words

[00:27:50] Halloween 64

[00:27:51] press start

[00:27:52] in text

[00:27:54] made to look

[00:27:54] like running

[00:27:55] green slime.

[00:27:57] How very

[00:27:58] goosebumps of you.

[00:28:00] Like,

[00:28:00] I immediately

[00:28:01] thought of

[00:28:01] like those,

[00:28:02] like that font

[00:28:03] or like that

[00:28:04] logo kind of

[00:28:05] brand like style

[00:28:05] of for like,

[00:28:06] like of the,

[00:28:07] the dripping

[00:28:08] green font.

[00:28:09] Yeah,

[00:28:10] you're right.

[00:28:13] Uh,

[00:28:13] the next thing

[00:28:14] I have here

[00:28:14] is any door

[00:28:17] or window that

[00:28:18] leads to the

[00:28:19] outside world

[00:28:19] will be

[00:28:20] unaccessible.

[00:28:21] Uh,

[00:28:22] my front door

[00:28:23] would not

[00:28:24] open and

[00:28:25] all of my

[00:28:26] windows became

[00:28:27] shatterproof.

[00:28:28] So,

[00:28:29] you know,

[00:28:29] what'd be

[00:28:29] actually cool

[00:28:30] like how they

[00:28:30] explain this

[00:28:31] is if the

[00:28:32] game,

[00:28:32] again,

[00:28:33] like I said

[00:28:33] earlier,

[00:28:33] like if the

[00:28:34] game asserts

[00:28:34] some level

[00:28:35] of like video

[00:28:35] game level

[00:28:36] physics to,

[00:28:37] to the localized

[00:28:38] reality.

[00:28:38] so like doors

[00:28:40] to the outside

[00:28:41] and windows

[00:28:43] are suddenly

[00:28:43] just,

[00:28:44] are suddenly

[00:28:45] just decals

[00:28:45] on your

[00:28:46] wall.

[00:28:47] That's so

[00:28:47] cool.

[00:28:48] That's,

[00:28:48] that's a

[00:28:48] really cool

[00:28:48] idea.

[00:28:49] Actually,

[00:28:49] that would

[00:28:50] be,

[00:28:50] yeah,

[00:28:51] that would

[00:28:51] be like

[00:28:51] so fucking

[00:28:51] good.

[00:28:52] Cause it's

[00:28:52] just like

[00:28:52] suddenly your,

[00:28:53] your house

[00:28:53] becomes like

[00:28:54] slightly low

[00:28:54] poly.

[00:28:56] And it's

[00:28:57] just a,

[00:28:57] it's just a,

[00:28:58] it's just a

[00:28:58] decal.

[00:29:01] Uh,

[00:29:02] I'm glad

[00:29:03] that you got

[00:29:03] that.

[00:29:04] You enjoyed

[00:29:04] that.

[00:29:06] Yeah,

[00:29:06] that's really

[00:29:06] cool.

[00:29:06] Cause right now

[00:29:07] it's like

[00:29:07] everything's

[00:29:08] blocked off

[00:29:10] because everything

[00:29:11] is blocked

[00:29:12] off.

[00:29:13] But like

[00:29:13] that gives

[00:29:14] it like a

[00:29:14] legit reason

[00:29:15] as to why

[00:29:16] and ties it

[00:29:17] into the

[00:29:17] same like

[00:29:17] thematic

[00:29:19] vibe that

[00:29:20] this creature

[00:29:20] or whatever

[00:29:21] it is,

[00:29:21] is doing.

[00:29:23] Yeah.

[00:29:24] Also I,

[00:29:25] Halloween 64

[00:29:25] came out in

[00:29:26] 2017,

[00:29:26] so it did

[00:29:27] it first,

[00:29:27] but this

[00:29:28] kind of also

[00:29:28] brought me

[00:29:29] to mind,

[00:29:29] um,

[00:29:30] the,

[00:29:30] the movie

[00:29:31] Skinnamarink,

[00:29:31] which is a

[00:29:32] very creepypasta

[00:29:33] esque film

[00:29:33] in itself.

[00:29:34] Um,

[00:29:35] we should

[00:29:35] actually cover

[00:29:36] it sometime

[00:29:36] on,

[00:29:36] on

[00:29:37] al dente

[00:29:37] real talk.

[00:29:39] Uh,

[00:29:40] but basically

[00:29:40] what happens

[00:29:41] in that

[00:29:41] movie,

[00:29:41] um,

[00:29:42] uh,

[00:29:42] is,

[00:29:43] uh,

[00:29:43] the kids

[00:29:43] in the

[00:29:44] movie find

[00:29:44] out that

[00:29:45] like all

[00:29:45] the external

[00:29:46] doors and

[00:29:46] windows have

[00:29:47] been removed

[00:29:47] from their

[00:29:48] house.

[00:29:48] So just like

[00:29:48] ceased to

[00:29:49] exist.

[00:29:49] And so

[00:29:50] there's just

[00:29:50] a wall

[00:29:51] where,

[00:29:51] where,

[00:29:51] where a door

[00:29:52] was or

[00:29:52] where a

[00:29:53] window

[00:29:53] was.

[00:29:56] That's

[00:29:56] pretty

[00:29:56] kind of

[00:29:57] brought

[00:29:57] to mind

[00:29:57] that except

[00:29:58] a decal

[00:29:59] of like

[00:29:59] a low

[00:30:00] poly

[00:30:01] door and

[00:30:01] window.

[00:30:02] That would

[00:30:03] be like

[00:30:03] so cool.

[00:30:06] Uh,

[00:30:06] and then

[00:30:06] the next

[00:30:07] thing I

[00:30:07] have here

[00:30:09] as you

[00:30:09] lose more

[00:30:10] lives,

[00:30:10] you will

[00:30:11] get sick.

[00:30:12] Very

[00:30:12] sick.

[00:30:12] I became

[00:30:13] no,

[00:30:14] I became

[00:30:14] nauseous.

[00:30:15] My head

[00:30:15] started to

[00:30:16] pound and

[00:30:17] my nose

[00:30:17] began to

[00:30:18] bleed.

[00:30:19] The more

[00:30:19] lives you

[00:30:20] lose,

[00:30:20] the worse

[00:30:21] you will

[00:30:21] feel,

[00:30:22] but you

[00:30:22] must keep

[00:30:23] playing.

[00:30:24] I can only

[00:30:24] conclude

[00:30:25] that losing

[00:30:26] all lives

[00:30:26] will result

[00:30:27] in your

[00:30:27] actual death.

[00:30:28] Again,

[00:30:29] see the

[00:30:30] stay alive

[00:30:30] quote,

[00:30:31] you die

[00:30:31] in the

[00:30:31] game,

[00:30:32] you die

[00:30:32] for real.

[00:30:34] You're

[00:30:34] saying like

[00:30:34] he can

[00:30:35] only

[00:30:35] conclude

[00:30:35] that.

[00:30:36] Pretty

[00:30:36] sure he

[00:30:37] knows

[00:30:37] that if

[00:30:38] he's been

[00:30:38] like researching

[00:30:39] this beforehand,

[00:30:40] right?

[00:30:41] Yeah.

[00:30:41] Well,

[00:30:41] yeah,

[00:30:42] because he

[00:30:42] clearly was

[00:30:43] looking for

[00:30:44] this game,

[00:30:44] so he

[00:30:44] knows some

[00:30:45] stuff about

[00:30:45] it from

[00:30:46] rumors and

[00:30:47] stories that

[00:30:48] people mention

[00:30:48] online.

[00:30:50] He doesn't

[00:30:51] really reference

[00:30:51] back to it

[00:30:52] much,

[00:30:52] though.

[00:30:53] Like,

[00:30:53] he just

[00:30:53] basically

[00:30:53] says,

[00:30:54] like,

[00:30:54] after the

[00:30:55] first reference

[00:30:55] of it,

[00:30:56] it seems

[00:30:56] like he's

[00:30:57] never experienced

[00:30:58] any of this

[00:30:58] stuff before,

[00:30:59] so he's

[00:30:59] just

[00:31:00] flying by

[00:31:01] the seat

[00:31:01] of his

[00:31:01] pants.

[00:31:02] God,

[00:31:02] I just

[00:31:02] had a

[00:31:03] terrible

[00:31:04] idea for

[00:31:05] like,

[00:31:05] again,

[00:31:05] throwing this

[00:31:06] into a

[00:31:06] scenario or

[00:31:07] something like

[00:31:07] that,

[00:31:07] like,

[00:31:07] maybe a

[00:31:08] Cthulhu

[00:31:08] dark game

[00:31:08] or something.

[00:31:10] The game,

[00:31:11] it's a land

[00:31:11] party,

[00:31:13] and somebody

[00:31:14] brings this

[00:31:15] weird game

[00:31:15] they found

[00:31:16] on their

[00:31:16] doorstep

[00:31:17] to the

[00:31:17] game,

[00:31:18] and it's

[00:31:19] a 16-man

[00:31:19] link-up

[00:31:20] game.

[00:31:22] And so,

[00:31:23] like,

[00:31:23] because,

[00:31:23] again,

[00:31:24] you die,

[00:31:24] it says,

[00:31:25] like,

[00:31:25] the first

[00:31:26] couple

[00:31:26] of things

[00:31:27] is,

[00:31:27] like,

[00:31:27] a dog

[00:31:27] will die,

[00:31:28] like,

[00:31:28] your pet

[00:31:28] will die

[00:31:28] and some

[00:31:29] of that.

[00:31:29] So it's

[00:31:29] like,

[00:31:30] what if

[00:31:30] you're in

[00:31:30] a room

[00:31:31] full of

[00:31:31] people watching

[00:31:32] you play

[00:31:32] the game?

[00:31:33] Do they

[00:31:33] start dropping

[00:31:34] flies every

[00:31:35] time you

[00:31:35] lose a life?

[00:31:36] You're playing

[00:31:37] a PvP game

[00:31:38] and you shoot

[00:31:39] someone in the

[00:31:40] game and they

[00:31:40] drop dead for

[00:31:41] real.

[00:31:41] Yeah,

[00:31:42] exactly.

[00:31:43] Oh,

[00:31:44] yeah,

[00:31:44] this can

[00:31:45] assume different

[00:31:45] forms,

[00:31:46] so it just

[00:31:46] becomes a

[00:31:47] Halo game

[00:31:47] that somebody

[00:31:48] found.

[00:31:50] God,

[00:31:50] I may need

[00:31:51] to take some

[00:31:52] notes for

[00:31:52] that,

[00:31:52] for,

[00:31:53] like,

[00:31:53] a scenario.

[00:31:55] Yeah.

[00:31:55] It seems

[00:31:56] pretty cute.

[00:31:57] Well,

[00:31:58] the only

[00:32:00] problem I

[00:32:01] have with

[00:32:01] the assumption

[00:32:02] that you

[00:32:03] die is

[00:32:05] how does

[00:32:05] he know

[00:32:06] this?

[00:32:07] Because,

[00:32:07] I mean,

[00:32:08] if you

[00:32:09] were to

[00:32:10] die,

[00:32:10] you can't

[00:32:11] post on

[00:32:12] the form

[00:32:13] that it

[00:32:14] kills you.

[00:32:15] Well,

[00:32:16] he is

[00:32:17] basically just

[00:32:17] assuming.

[00:32:18] Like,

[00:32:18] I can only

[00:32:19] conclude that

[00:32:20] losing all

[00:32:21] lives results

[00:32:22] in death.

[00:32:22] Like,

[00:32:22] yeah,

[00:32:22] he's basically

[00:32:23] just assuming

[00:32:24] the worst.

[00:32:25] Possible that

[00:32:26] someone witnessed

[00:32:27] their friend

[00:32:28] go through the

[00:32:29] game and die.

[00:32:30] Yeah,

[00:32:31] like,

[00:32:31] yeah,

[00:32:31] maybe,

[00:32:31] again,

[00:32:32] like,

[00:32:32] if somebody

[00:32:33] watched somebody

[00:32:34] play,

[00:32:34] maybe not

[00:32:35] necessarily

[00:32:35] like they

[00:32:35] will die

[00:32:36] as well

[00:32:36] because they're

[00:32:36] like in

[00:32:37] the room

[00:32:38] with him,

[00:32:38] so like,

[00:32:39] they could

[00:32:39] basically observe

[00:32:40] the effects

[00:32:42] and then

[00:32:43] kind of

[00:32:43] relay that.

[00:32:48] It's definitely

[00:32:49] an assumption

[00:32:49] though,

[00:32:49] I think,

[00:32:50] on the part

[00:32:51] of this

[00:32:51] character.

[00:32:52] And you know

[00:32:52] what that

[00:32:53] means?

[00:32:54] Yeah,

[00:32:54] and we all

[00:32:55] know it

[00:32:56] makes an ass

[00:32:56] of you an

[00:32:57] option.

[00:32:57] So it

[00:32:59] turns out

[00:33:00] like as soon

[00:33:01] as he like,

[00:33:01] like if he

[00:33:02] loses his last

[00:33:02] life,

[00:33:03] it just resets

[00:33:03] and your dog's

[00:33:04] back and like

[00:33:05] everything's fine.

[00:33:05] You're like,

[00:33:06] and the game

[00:33:06] just like back

[00:33:07] at your door

[00:33:07] and it's like,

[00:33:08] I'm just gonna

[00:33:09] close the door

[00:33:09] and just nope.

[00:33:11] It's actually

[00:33:12] money on your

[00:33:13] coffee table.

[00:33:14] Like,

[00:33:14] it's just all

[00:33:15] good.

[00:33:15] Yeah,

[00:33:16] it's just like,

[00:33:17] hey,

[00:33:17] it's like,

[00:33:19] sorry you

[00:33:19] couldn't beat

[00:33:19] my game.

[00:33:20] Bye.

[00:33:21] Nope.

[00:33:22] That would

[00:33:23] actually be the

[00:33:23] big,

[00:33:23] I think actually

[00:33:24] I would like

[00:33:24] that,

[00:33:25] like actually

[00:33:26] if that had

[00:33:26] turned out

[00:33:27] that way

[00:33:28] just as well

[00:33:29] because like

[00:33:30] that would be

[00:33:30] just the biggest

[00:33:31] like fuck

[00:33:31] you.

[00:33:33] Yeah.

[00:33:34] And that's

[00:33:34] what you want

[00:33:35] in a horror

[00:33:35] game is or

[00:33:36] a horror story

[00:33:36] is like the

[00:33:38] sort of like

[00:33:39] the,

[00:33:39] like you,

[00:33:39] you're the

[00:33:40] character is

[00:33:41] perceiving the

[00:33:41] worst.

[00:33:42] So they,

[00:33:42] it's sort of

[00:33:43] the thing of

[00:33:43] like you get

[00:33:44] bit by a

[00:33:45] zombie,

[00:33:45] in your

[00:33:46] arm and

[00:33:47] you,

[00:33:47] you assume

[00:33:48] that the

[00:33:48] infection is

[00:33:49] through the

[00:33:50] zombie bite.

[00:33:51] So you lop

[00:33:51] off your own

[00:33:52] arm and

[00:33:53] then you find

[00:33:53] out later

[00:33:54] that the

[00:33:55] zombie bite

[00:33:55] is not the

[00:33:56] infection vector.

[00:33:57] It's something

[00:33:57] else.

[00:33:57] And it's just

[00:33:58] like,

[00:33:58] oh,

[00:34:00] well,

[00:34:00] shit.

[00:34:01] Yeah.

[00:34:05] Yeah.

[00:34:06] That kind of

[00:34:06] thing is just

[00:34:07] like,

[00:34:07] again,

[00:34:08] that's the

[00:34:08] big,

[00:34:08] like the,

[00:34:09] that's the

[00:34:09] classic fuck

[00:34:10] you in a

[00:34:10] horror story.

[00:34:11] Yeah.

[00:34:13] And like,

[00:34:14] we're like

[00:34:14] your,

[00:34:14] your,

[00:34:15] your assumption

[00:34:15] fucks you

[00:34:16] over.

[00:34:18] It's like

[00:34:18] in the,

[00:34:19] again,

[00:34:19] like,

[00:34:19] yeah,

[00:34:19] I could name

[00:34:20] off a bunch

[00:34:20] of different

[00:34:20] like scenarios.

[00:34:21] It's like in

[00:34:21] Return of the

[00:34:22] Living Dead,

[00:34:22] it's like,

[00:34:23] it's like,

[00:34:23] it's like,

[00:34:24] why did you

[00:34:24] think that

[00:34:25] killing it and

[00:34:25] shooting in the

[00:34:26] head or

[00:34:26] damaging the

[00:34:27] head would

[00:34:27] kill it?

[00:34:28] It worked

[00:34:28] in the movie.

[00:34:29] you mean the

[00:34:30] movie lied?

[00:34:35] Yeah.

[00:34:36] So anyway,

[00:34:36] uh,

[00:34:36] moving,

[00:34:37] moving on to

[00:34:37] the next thing

[00:34:38] I have here.

[00:34:39] When the game

[00:34:39] gets bored of

[00:34:40] level one,

[00:34:41] it will end

[00:34:42] without notice.

[00:34:43] The timer on

[00:34:44] the screen shows

[00:34:45] that I ran for

[00:34:46] seven hours and

[00:34:47] 26 minutes before

[00:34:48] it ended.

[00:34:49] So this game's

[00:34:50] just,

[00:34:50] yeah,

[00:34:51] it's like I said,

[00:34:51] it's a misery

[00:34:52] machine.

[00:34:52] This is hell.

[00:34:53] Like,

[00:34:53] I don't think

[00:34:54] I'd be able to

[00:34:55] last,

[00:34:55] uh,

[00:34:56] level one.

[00:34:58] I think I'd go

[00:34:58] through all my,

[00:34:59] I think I would

[00:35:00] probably lose all my

[00:35:01] all 10 lives in

[00:35:02] level one.

[00:35:03] Um,

[00:35:04] depends.

[00:35:04] Cause I have a lot.

[00:35:06] It depends.

[00:35:06] Do you have an

[00:35:07] elastic band nearby?

[00:35:09] I feel like the

[00:35:10] game might like this

[00:35:12] game's already

[00:35:12] supernaturally like,

[00:35:13] like something.

[00:35:14] So it's like,

[00:35:14] I feel like it would

[00:35:15] penalize you for doing

[00:35:16] that.

[00:35:17] Yeah.

[00:35:17] For cheating

[00:35:18] technically.

[00:35:18] Yeah.

[00:35:19] Like the band,

[00:35:20] all the rubber,

[00:35:20] like you try to do

[00:35:23] slap you in the eye,

[00:35:24] like just like the

[00:35:25] ricochets into your

[00:35:25] eye.

[00:35:28] It's like,

[00:35:28] uh,

[00:35:28] uh,

[00:35:29] uh,

[00:35:29] uh,

[00:35:30] uh,

[00:35:31] one,

[00:35:32] you,

[00:35:32] you've just one

[00:35:33] less life.

[00:35:34] Yeah.

[00:35:37] Um,

[00:35:38] but yeah.

[00:35:39] Uh,

[00:35:40] and then this part

[00:35:41] is from level three.

[00:35:42] Um,

[00:35:43] it took me 20 minutes

[00:35:44] to stab them to

[00:35:45] death and I could

[00:35:47] barely hold the

[00:35:48] controller when it

[00:35:48] was done,

[00:35:49] when it was over.

[00:35:49] So apparently this

[00:35:50] game gives the

[00:35:52] person in the bed,

[00:35:53] the same life bar

[00:35:54] as a dark souls

[00:35:55] boss.

[00:35:57] It takes like 20

[00:35:59] minutes to kill

[00:36:00] the stab a person.

[00:36:01] It was like,

[00:36:02] Jesus Christ.

[00:36:03] It seems excessive.

[00:36:04] Yeah.

[00:36:06] Part of that is

[00:36:06] because like,

[00:36:07] as soon as you do

[00:36:08] a stab,

[00:36:08] you're hurting

[00:36:09] yourself.

[00:36:09] So you have to

[00:36:10] like recover from

[00:36:11] you hurting

[00:36:12] yourself.

[00:36:13] Yeah.

[00:36:13] And then go

[00:36:14] again.

[00:36:15] Yeah.

[00:36:15] Fair.

[00:36:16] So like you're

[00:36:17] and like,

[00:36:18] I think the

[00:36:18] issues like

[00:36:19] unfortunately none

[00:36:20] of the weapons

[00:36:21] that you acquire

[00:36:21] are like highly

[00:36:23] lethality weapons

[00:36:24] like it hurts.

[00:36:26] Like it's gonna,

[00:36:26] it's gonna be an

[00:36:28] arduous death.

[00:36:30] I want to serve

[00:36:31] knife.

[00:36:32] Yeah.

[00:36:32] Yeah.

[00:36:33] Well,

[00:36:33] yeah,

[00:36:33] even a knife

[00:36:33] though.

[00:36:34] I mean,

[00:36:34] like,

[00:36:35] it's not like a

[00:36:36] gun.

[00:36:36] Oh God,

[00:36:36] even if it was a

[00:36:37] gun,

[00:36:38] just like you

[00:36:38] shoot him in the

[00:36:39] face.

[00:36:40] And then like,

[00:36:41] that's only like a

[00:36:42] bit of their life,

[00:36:43] but like you're,

[00:36:44] you're,

[00:36:44] you feel the,

[00:36:45] the shot to

[00:36:45] your head.

[00:36:47] That would be

[00:36:48] pretty fucked.

[00:36:48] I will say,

[00:36:49] I will commend it.

[00:36:49] That would be

[00:36:50] pretty fucked up

[00:36:50] scenario.

[00:36:51] Just like if

[00:36:52] you're in that

[00:36:52] situation,

[00:36:55] but yeah,

[00:36:55] it's just like the,

[00:36:56] the,

[00:36:56] the length of how

[00:36:57] long it took to

[00:36:58] like kill this

[00:36:58] person with a,

[00:36:59] with stabs was

[00:37:00] just like,

[00:37:01] like,

[00:37:01] what is this?

[00:37:01] Like a dark

[00:37:02] souls boss or get

[00:37:03] or,

[00:37:03] or demise from

[00:37:04] skyward sword.

[00:37:05] Jesus.

[00:37:06] Yeah.

[00:37:07] The answer is yes.

[00:37:09] Yeah.

[00:37:10] Um,

[00:37:13] the game's,

[00:37:13] it's like,

[00:37:13] it's like eulogy

[00:37:14] games,

[00:37:15] last breath

[00:37:15] studios,

[00:37:17] and soft.

[00:37:19] It's just

[00:37:19] straight up the

[00:37:20] guys who make

[00:37:20] dark souls games.

[00:37:24] Software.

[00:37:25] Uh,

[00:37:25] is it,

[00:37:25] or is it from,

[00:37:26] sorry,

[00:37:26] from so yeah,

[00:37:26] from soft,

[00:37:27] from software.

[00:37:31] Sorry.

[00:37:31] And soft,

[00:37:31] I think is the

[00:37:32] guys who did

[00:37:32] guilt wars.

[00:37:36] I digress.

[00:37:37] I'll move on to

[00:37:37] my last,

[00:37:38] uh,

[00:37:39] actual thought

[00:37:39] here.

[00:37:40] Uh,

[00:37:41] I remember

[00:37:41] reading game

[00:37:42] complete on the

[00:37:43] screen just

[00:37:44] before blacking

[00:37:45] out.

[00:37:46] I am no,

[00:37:47] I'm not sure

[00:37:48] who the game

[00:37:48] will choose

[00:37:49] next.

[00:37:49] Or if it

[00:37:50] already has,

[00:37:51] I just pray

[00:37:52] that they will

[00:37:53] read this

[00:37:54] before it is

[00:37:55] too late.

[00:37:57] Wait,

[00:37:58] where'd the

[00:37:58] game go?

[00:37:59] I kind of,

[00:38:00] I kind of

[00:38:00] mentioned this

[00:38:01] in the,

[00:38:01] in the rundown

[00:38:02] I had.

[00:38:02] Uh,

[00:38:03] I'm assuming

[00:38:04] it vanished

[00:38:05] while,

[00:38:05] when,

[00:38:05] while they

[00:38:06] were blacked

[00:38:06] out,

[00:38:07] like,

[00:38:07] cause it's

[00:38:07] clearly some

[00:38:08] kind of

[00:38:08] supernatural

[00:38:09] thing,

[00:38:10] um,

[00:38:11] parading as

[00:38:11] a video

[00:38:12] game,

[00:38:12] but it

[00:38:13] never actually

[00:38:13] says in

[00:38:14] the story

[00:38:14] or in,

[00:38:15] in his

[00:38:15] account,

[00:38:16] uh,

[00:38:17] that the

[00:38:17] game vanished

[00:38:18] without trace.

[00:38:19] It's just

[00:38:19] like,

[00:38:19] it goes

[00:38:20] from like,

[00:38:21] uh,

[00:38:21] the game

[00:38:22] complete,

[00:38:22] he blacks

[00:38:23] out,

[00:38:23] and then

[00:38:23] immediately to

[00:38:24] the next

[00:38:24] sentence is

[00:38:25] like,

[00:38:25] I'm not

[00:38:25] sure who

[00:38:26] the game

[00:38:26] will choose

[00:38:27] next.

[00:38:27] It's like,

[00:38:27] well,

[00:38:28] wait,

[00:38:28] where'd

[00:38:28] the game

[00:38:28] go?

[00:38:30] It just

[00:38:31] sort of

[00:38:31] disappeared.

[00:38:32] And if that's

[00:38:32] the case,

[00:38:32] fine,

[00:38:33] but I feel

[00:38:33] like you

[00:38:34] should mention

[00:38:34] that.

[00:38:35] Yeah,

[00:38:35] like,

[00:38:35] I was like,

[00:38:36] like when I

[00:38:36] got,

[00:38:36] when I came

[00:38:37] to,

[00:38:37] like,

[00:38:38] um,

[00:38:39] the game

[00:38:39] was nowhere

[00:38:39] to be found.

[00:38:40] I scoured

[00:38:40] my room.

[00:38:41] I even scoured

[00:38:42] out like

[00:38:42] outside my

[00:38:42] house,

[00:38:43] which I could

[00:38:43] now get

[00:38:43] out of,

[00:38:44] uh,

[00:38:45] but no,

[00:38:45] but nothing.

[00:38:46] Um,

[00:38:46] and then like,

[00:38:47] I can only

[00:38:47] presume that the

[00:38:48] game has moved

[00:38:48] on to a new

[00:38:49] victim.

[00:38:50] Would the wording

[00:38:50] be like,

[00:38:51] after completing

[00:38:52] the game,

[00:38:53] the game will be

[00:38:54] gone and you

[00:38:54] will not find

[00:38:55] it anywhere?

[00:38:56] Cause it's

[00:38:56] supposed to be

[00:38:56] an instructional

[00:38:57] video,

[00:38:57] right?

[00:38:58] Not,

[00:38:58] uh,

[00:38:58] a story.

[00:39:00] Yeah.

[00:39:00] Yeah.

[00:39:00] It's an

[00:39:00] instructional

[00:39:01] pasta.

[00:39:02] Yeah.

[00:39:04] But yeah,

[00:39:05] I think that,

[00:39:05] uh,

[00:39:06] that,

[00:39:06] that,

[00:39:06] that's the one

[00:39:07] part,

[00:39:07] the,

[00:39:07] the end

[00:39:07] that kind

[00:39:08] of caught

[00:39:08] me is like,

[00:39:08] well,

[00:39:08] wait,

[00:39:08] hang on,

[00:39:09] where's this,

[00:39:09] where'd the game

[00:39:10] go?

[00:39:11] Uh,

[00:39:12] but yeah,

[00:39:14] but that's the

[00:39:15] end of my actual

[00:39:16] thoughts.

[00:39:17] Uh,

[00:39:17] so Mikey,

[00:39:18] these stands

[00:39:18] for evil.

[00:39:20] Yeah.

[00:39:21] So,

[00:39:22] uh,

[00:39:24] continuing on

[00:39:25] with that whole,

[00:39:26] he passes out

[00:39:27] from exhaustion

[00:39:28] at the end.

[00:39:30] Like,

[00:39:31] that,

[00:39:32] that for me

[00:39:33] sort of ruined

[00:39:34] it because

[00:39:36] what's to say

[00:39:36] that this whole

[00:39:37] thing isn't a

[00:39:38] dream?

[00:39:39] Don't,

[00:39:40] don't do this

[00:39:40] to me,

[00:39:40] man.

[00:39:42] Whoa.

[00:39:45] Eh,

[00:39:46] what's that?

[00:39:47] That's true.

[00:39:48] You're saying

[00:39:48] like,

[00:39:49] he was feeling

[00:39:51] pain.

[00:39:52] Like,

[00:39:53] first,

[00:39:53] yeah.

[00:39:54] So like,

[00:39:55] yeah,

[00:39:55] first off,

[00:39:55] seven hours,

[00:39:57] uh,

[00:39:57] over seven hours

[00:39:58] of just like

[00:39:58] concentrating on

[00:39:59] walking and like

[00:40:00] running through a

[00:40:01] level.

[00:40:02] Um,

[00:40:03] and then like

[00:40:04] incredible pain,

[00:40:05] uh,

[00:40:06] from every time

[00:40:06] he like,

[00:40:07] he lost a life

[00:40:08] and then even

[00:40:10] more incredible

[00:40:11] pain from like

[00:40:12] trying to having

[00:40:12] to stab a loved

[00:40:13] one in a bed

[00:40:14] and feeling all

[00:40:15] the pain that

[00:40:16] that entails,

[00:40:17] uh,

[00:40:18] themselves.

[00:40:18] So it's like,

[00:40:20] I,

[00:40:20] I kind of get

[00:40:21] why they blacked

[00:40:21] out,

[00:40:21] but yeah,

[00:40:22] also like,

[00:40:22] I,

[00:40:23] I can kind of

[00:40:24] see where you're,

[00:40:24] where you're coming

[00:40:25] from.

[00:40:25] I was like,

[00:40:25] what if this is

[00:40:26] just like,

[00:40:26] like they were

[00:40:27] just like on a

[00:40:27] video game,

[00:40:28] like,

[00:40:28] uh,

[00:40:29] they were on a

[00:40:30] marathon of a

[00:40:31] game and then

[00:40:32] they crashed and

[00:40:33] then they had this

[00:40:33] nightmare about

[00:40:34] playing a game and

[00:40:35] they couldn't tell

[00:40:36] which was weird,

[00:40:36] what was reality.

[00:40:38] I,

[00:40:38] I get you.

[00:40:39] The pain is just

[00:40:40] seeing red

[00:40:41] because it's video

[00:40:42] game logic.

[00:40:43] Yeah.

[00:40:44] And like,

[00:40:44] I get it.

[00:40:45] Cause like,

[00:40:45] I have definitely

[00:40:46] had those,

[00:40:47] those kind of

[00:40:47] dreams where

[00:40:48] like,

[00:40:48] it's very hard to

[00:40:49] discern what was

[00:40:50] reality or like,

[00:40:51] it kind of fucks me

[00:40:51] up for,

[00:40:52] for a little bit,

[00:40:53] like in my,

[00:40:53] when I wake up,

[00:40:54] because like,

[00:40:55] I,

[00:40:55] I think like what

[00:40:56] I experienced in

[00:40:57] the dream was like

[00:40:57] also real.

[00:40:58] Cause it was like

[00:40:58] that close to a

[00:41:00] mundane thing.

[00:41:01] Um,

[00:41:02] like,

[00:41:03] like the scenario,

[00:41:03] the,

[00:41:04] the,

[00:41:04] the most of the

[00:41:05] stuff in the game

[00:41:05] or in the dream

[00:41:06] was like a mundane

[00:41:07] thing to a degree

[00:41:08] where like what

[00:41:10] was hap,

[00:41:10] what happened in

[00:41:11] the dream that was

[00:41:11] a nightmare felt

[00:41:13] like it could have

[00:41:14] been like the realm

[00:41:14] of possibility or

[00:41:15] could even been a

[00:41:15] memory.

[00:41:17] But I don't know.

[00:41:18] I think we're

[00:41:20] supposed to not take

[00:41:20] it that way.

[00:41:21] I think it's supposed

[00:41:21] to actually be that

[00:41:22] it's,

[00:41:24] it's obviously like

[00:41:24] an actual supernatural

[00:41:25] thing,

[00:41:26] but I hate that

[00:41:27] you brought that up

[00:41:27] now.

[00:41:28] Cause now that's

[00:41:28] in my mind.

[00:41:30] Thanks.

[00:41:31] I hate it.

[00:41:33] It is the thing he

[00:41:34] does.

[00:41:35] Yep.

[00:41:36] He either,

[00:41:37] like he has the

[00:41:37] power to make

[00:41:38] something better or

[00:41:39] ruin it entirely

[00:41:40] with mundane.

[00:41:41] Yes.

[00:41:45] And today,

[00:41:46] Mikey chose

[00:41:47] violence.

[00:41:52] yeah.

[00:41:53] So,

[00:41:54] uh,

[00:41:56] yeah,

[00:41:57] that's pretty

[00:41:59] much it.

[00:42:01] That's all you

[00:42:02] have.

[00:42:04] Criticize him.

[00:42:06] Fair enough,

[00:42:06] fair enough.

[00:42:08] Cause yeah,

[00:42:10] like it's,

[00:42:10] uh,

[00:42:11] a lot of the

[00:42:12] stuff happens in

[00:42:13] game and then

[00:42:15] he's just feeling

[00:42:16] stuff and it's

[00:42:17] like,

[00:42:17] well,

[00:42:18] okay.

[00:42:19] Who knows if

[00:42:23] he's just super

[00:42:24] exhausted because

[00:42:25] he was working

[00:42:26] previously.

[00:42:27] So he's done a

[00:42:28] shift at work.

[00:42:30] He comes home

[00:42:31] playing video games

[00:42:33] for over seven

[00:42:34] hours.

[00:42:35] So the pain is

[00:42:37] just that he

[00:42:38] really needs to

[00:42:39] poop or

[00:42:41] he's having

[00:42:43] nosebleeds and

[00:42:44] like,

[00:42:44] oh shit like

[00:42:45] that.

[00:42:46] Like you think

[00:42:47] he's having a

[00:42:48] seizure.

[00:42:50] He's gotta go to

[00:42:51] the bathroom.

[00:42:52] It's gotta come

[00:42:52] out one way.

[00:42:53] He's just

[00:42:53] on there.

[00:42:54] So it's coming

[00:42:55] out the nose.

[00:42:56] The fuck?

[00:42:58] Ah,

[00:42:58] you guys are

[00:42:59] ruining this.

[00:43:00] God damn

[00:43:00] it.

[00:43:02] Uh,

[00:43:06] no,

[00:43:06] I see.

[00:43:07] I was actually,

[00:43:07] I was actually

[00:43:08] commending this

[00:43:08] story for like

[00:43:09] actually addressing

[00:43:11] why the hell are

[00:43:11] those not in my

[00:43:12] notes?

[00:43:12] I actually had,

[00:43:13] I thought I had

[00:43:13] taken notes about

[00:43:14] like this story

[00:43:15] like,

[00:43:18] did I not,

[00:43:19] I did not even

[00:43:20] read that part.

[00:43:21] Oh shit,

[00:43:21] I actually missed

[00:43:21] a whole section,

[00:43:22] a whole thing

[00:43:22] that I,

[00:43:23] note I had.

[00:43:24] Um,

[00:43:25] where like.

[00:43:25] You missed a

[00:43:26] whole section

[00:43:26] of the story.

[00:43:27] No,

[00:43:28] no,

[00:43:28] in my notes,

[00:43:29] like I had a

[00:43:29] whole thing about

[00:43:30] like I was

[00:43:30] commending the

[00:43:31] story for like,

[00:43:32] um,

[00:43:33] for addressing

[00:43:33] or fixing

[00:43:35] some of the

[00:43:35] gripes that we

[00:43:36] have had in

[00:43:36] the past

[00:43:38] for,

[00:43:38] uh,

[00:43:40] regarding

[00:43:40] certain

[00:43:41] uh,

[00:43:41] vijipasta

[00:43:42] tropes,

[00:43:42] like explaining

[00:43:43] why don't they

[00:43:44] just like stop

[00:43:45] and even

[00:43:46] like go away,

[00:43:48] like,

[00:43:48] like leave the,

[00:43:48] leave the game

[00:43:49] or some of that

[00:43:49] or like having

[00:43:50] the game actually

[00:43:51] affect the player

[00:43:52] directly and not

[00:43:52] just in a game

[00:43:53] or in like a

[00:43:54] melancholy sense.

[00:43:55] Like the game is

[00:43:56] actually physically

[00:43:57] affecting this

[00:43:58] character.

[00:43:59] Uh,

[00:44:00] or this,

[00:44:00] this,

[00:44:00] this person,

[00:44:01] this player.

[00:44:02] Um,

[00:44:03] and it's not just

[00:44:03] like,

[00:44:04] oh,

[00:44:04] I feel sad.

[00:44:05] Like they're,

[00:44:06] they're feeling

[00:44:06] the pain and like

[00:44:07] having nosebleeds

[00:44:08] or losing a dog

[00:44:09] or like,

[00:44:10] or a pet or

[00:44:11] whatever.

[00:44:12] because they lost

[00:44:12] a dog death.

[00:44:13] Yeah.

[00:44:14] Like it was just,

[00:44:16] it's time choked

[00:44:17] on chicken bone.

[00:44:19] Yeah.

[00:44:20] It was so long

[00:44:21] forgot to feed it.

[00:44:22] Yeah.

[00:44:24] Imagine it's,

[00:44:25] it grabbed,

[00:44:25] it grabbed some

[00:44:26] grapes or,

[00:44:27] uh,

[00:44:27] grabbed a whole

[00:44:28] thing of Oreos

[00:44:28] and just like died

[00:44:29] of the chocolate.

[00:44:32] But no,

[00:44:32] I,

[00:44:32] I,

[00:44:33] I think the game

[00:44:33] is,

[00:44:34] I think,

[00:44:34] I think the game

[00:44:35] is real,

[00:44:36] but no,

[00:44:37] I think,

[00:44:38] I don't think,

[00:44:38] I don't,

[00:44:38] I don't subscribe

[00:44:39] to the dream law.

[00:44:40] It was just a dream

[00:44:41] situation.

[00:44:42] I think it's,

[00:44:43] it's supposed to be

[00:44:44] assumed that it's a

[00:44:45] super,

[00:44:45] it's an actual

[00:44:45] supernatural threat.

[00:44:47] Especially because

[00:44:48] they like researched

[00:44:49] it and everything

[00:44:49] before.

[00:44:50] So yeah,

[00:44:50] but that,

[00:44:51] that also like

[00:44:53] gives,

[00:44:54] um,

[00:44:54] credit to Mikey's

[00:44:55] point where like,

[00:44:56] if he's obsessing

[00:44:57] over researching

[00:44:58] this and then he

[00:44:59] goes to sleep

[00:45:01] and then he's

[00:45:02] going to be

[00:45:02] dreaming about it.

[00:45:03] He has a dream

[00:45:03] that he finds it

[00:45:04] on his door

[00:45:05] and God damn

[00:45:06] you.

[00:45:06] It's like,

[00:45:07] it's the,

[00:45:07] it's the,

[00:45:08] it's sort of

[00:45:09] the,

[00:45:09] um,

[00:45:11] mass hallucination

[00:45:12] or like,

[00:45:13] like even like

[00:45:13] some of the other

[00:45:14] people's like,

[00:45:14] uh,

[00:45:14] like stuff on the

[00:45:15] stories and

[00:45:15] stuff of that.

[00:45:16] It's like,

[00:45:16] it's like that.

[00:45:17] Have you seen

[00:45:17] this man?

[00:45:18] Have you played

[00:45:18] this game?

[00:45:20] Like that dream

[00:45:21] that like,

[00:45:21] kind of like that

[00:45:22] because like so

[00:45:23] many people have

[00:45:23] like talked about

[00:45:24] this,

[00:45:24] like character

[00:45:25] or this,

[00:45:25] this thing

[00:45:26] in their dreams.

[00:45:27] Other people

[00:45:27] start dreaming about

[00:45:31] again,

[00:45:32] I hate,

[00:45:33] thanks.

[00:45:33] I hate the,

[00:45:34] uh,

[00:45:34] the dream of

[00:45:35] the dream theory.

[00:45:37] I'll say this

[00:45:38] though.

[00:45:38] If he,

[00:45:39] if the,

[00:45:39] the pain wasn't

[00:45:40] brought up,

[00:45:41] I might have

[00:45:42] like sort of

[00:45:43] subscribed to

[00:45:44] that,

[00:45:44] but I don't

[00:45:45] there's pain.

[00:45:47] Yeah,

[00:45:48] but it was pain.

[00:45:51] The pain has

[00:45:52] set this free.

[00:45:53] God damn it.

[00:45:57] Yeah.

[00:45:58] Yeah.

[00:46:00] So that's

[00:46:00] into my actual

[00:46:01] thoughts.

[00:46:02] All right.

[00:46:03] Gamer,

[00:46:04] your,

[00:46:04] your actual

[00:46:05] thoughts.

[00:46:06] Yes,

[00:46:06] about those.

[00:46:09] So,

[00:46:10] the first

[00:46:11] paragraph,

[00:46:12] um,

[00:46:13] basically saying

[00:46:14] there's rumors

[00:46:14] of the game.

[00:46:16] Um,

[00:46:18] he's like,

[00:46:19] but it's real.

[00:46:20] And then he

[00:46:21] says,

[00:46:22] do not go

[00:46:22] looking for

[00:46:23] it.

[00:46:24] Um,

[00:46:24] it can disguise

[00:46:25] itself under

[00:46:26] any platform

[00:46:27] doesn't do

[00:46:27] it.

[00:46:28] It's rules,

[00:46:28] blah,

[00:46:28] blah,

[00:46:28] blah.

[00:46:28] If you're

[00:46:29] unfortunate enough

[00:46:30] to play it,

[00:46:30] it will provide

[00:46:31] instructions,

[00:46:32] how it would

[00:46:32] give you a

[00:46:33] fighting chance,

[00:46:33] blah,

[00:46:33] blah,

[00:46:33] blah.

[00:46:34] But like after

[00:46:35] reading that

[00:46:35] first paragraph,

[00:46:37] technically that

[00:46:38] is the whole

[00:46:38] story.

[00:46:39] If you think

[00:46:40] about it.

[00:46:41] Yeah.

[00:46:41] Yeah.

[00:46:41] It's quite a

[00:46:42] mini pasta.

[00:46:43] If you do,

[00:46:44] but like you

[00:46:44] could technically

[00:46:45] stop it there.

[00:46:46] And that is the

[00:46:47] whole story.

[00:46:50] I guess.

[00:46:51] Yeah.

[00:46:51] Because that is

[00:46:52] describing in a

[00:46:54] nutshell,

[00:46:55] the,

[00:46:56] the world that

[00:46:56] we're put in

[00:46:57] where there

[00:46:57] is some

[00:46:58] creepy game

[00:46:59] going around

[00:47:00] that is

[00:47:00] fucking with

[00:47:01] people and

[00:47:01] going from

[00:47:01] person to

[00:47:02] person.

[00:47:04] Like that is

[00:47:05] described entirely

[00:47:06] in that everything

[00:47:06] else is just

[00:47:08] stretching that

[00:47:09] first paragraph

[00:47:09] out.

[00:47:10] Yeah.

[00:47:11] It's,

[00:47:11] that's what

[00:47:12] stories do,

[00:47:13] sir.

[00:47:14] Like they,

[00:47:15] they have an

[00:47:15] introductory thing

[00:47:16] and then they

[00:47:16] explain like the

[00:47:17] rest,

[00:47:17] like what

[00:47:18] happened,

[00:47:18] what they were,

[00:47:19] what they

[00:47:20] introduced into

[00:47:21] a full story.

[00:47:22] Oh,

[00:47:23] I know.

[00:47:23] I'm not saying

[00:47:24] that this is a

[00:47:24] negative.

[00:47:25] I'm just saying

[00:47:25] after reading that

[00:47:26] first paragraph,

[00:47:27] it felt like

[00:47:28] that's like the

[00:47:29] whole gist of the

[00:47:30] whole story.

[00:47:31] Okay.

[00:47:32] And just reading

[00:47:33] the rest of it is

[00:47:33] just going to give

[00:47:34] context to

[00:47:35] everything,

[00:47:35] which is fine.

[00:47:36] But like through

[00:47:37] reading the first

[00:47:38] paragraph,

[00:47:38] we basically know

[00:47:40] everything that's

[00:47:41] going to happen in

[00:47:42] a way.

[00:47:43] Yeah.

[00:47:43] He's going to get

[00:47:44] the creepy,

[00:47:44] he's going to get

[00:47:44] the creepy game.

[00:47:45] He's going to

[00:47:45] survive.

[00:47:47] Like,

[00:47:47] obviously,

[00:47:47] I guess that's

[00:47:48] also like why,

[00:47:49] why it's,

[00:47:50] it's kind of a

[00:47:50] ritual pasta.

[00:47:51] Cause it's like,

[00:47:52] it's the,

[00:47:53] the format in the,

[00:47:54] in the format of

[00:47:55] the,

[00:47:56] of the story is a

[00:47:56] ritual pasta.

[00:47:57] And that's a set of

[00:47:58] instructions.

[00:47:58] And like,

[00:47:59] it's almost done up

[00:48:00] like a,

[00:48:00] like a thesis.

[00:48:01] So like,

[00:48:02] here's my introductory

[00:48:03] paragraph.

[00:48:03] And now here's

[00:48:04] everything that's

[00:48:04] explains my

[00:48:05] introductory paragraph

[00:48:08] and fleshes that

[00:48:09] out.

[00:48:09] Yes,

[00:48:12] but I'll move on.

[00:48:13] Okay.

[00:48:14] The game decided to

[00:48:15] present itself to me

[00:48:16] on a Sunday at

[00:48:18] 12 AM.

[00:48:19] It had manifested

[00:48:20] itself into a blank

[00:48:22] Nintendo 64 cartridge

[00:48:23] with no writing or

[00:48:25] sticker logo.

[00:48:26] And it's placed

[00:48:26] outside my front door

[00:48:27] with no note or

[00:48:28] instruction.

[00:48:31] How did it present

[00:48:32] itself to you at

[00:48:33] midnight?

[00:48:35] Like it says it

[00:48:36] did,

[00:48:36] but how,

[00:48:37] like,

[00:48:37] did you just,

[00:48:38] did you just so

[00:48:39] happen to walk out

[00:48:40] the front door in

[00:48:41] the middle of a

[00:48:42] night to see it?

[00:48:43] You probably would

[00:48:43] have stepped on it if

[00:48:44] that's the case.

[00:48:45] Cause it's dark and

[00:48:46] it's a small thing.

[00:48:47] Unless you have

[00:48:48] laid on or something.

[00:48:49] Yeah,

[00:48:49] yeah.

[00:48:49] Or like,

[00:48:50] did it make a noise

[00:48:50] when it appeared?

[00:48:51] Did it call to you

[00:48:53] verbally or just with

[00:48:54] vibes that you feel

[00:48:55] like there's something

[00:48:56] out there?

[00:48:57] It just says it

[00:48:58] presented itself.

[00:48:59] Let me finish.

[00:49:00] I know.

[00:49:01] It just said it

[00:49:02] presented itself to

[00:49:03] him,

[00:49:03] but no explanation of

[00:49:05] why.

[00:49:06] And I bring that up

[00:49:07] because we need to

[00:49:08] know why,

[00:49:09] because this is meant

[00:49:10] to be a warning.

[00:49:11] And the very first

[00:49:13] thing you need to

[00:49:14] know is the,

[00:49:15] the calling,

[00:49:16] the calling card of

[00:49:17] it showing up.

[00:49:19] So how can you avoid

[00:49:20] it if you don't know

[00:49:21] specifically how it

[00:49:22] shows up?

[00:49:23] That's true.

[00:49:24] Yeah.

[00:49:24] Cause right now the

[00:49:25] only preventive

[00:49:27] warning is when you

[00:49:28] see it,

[00:49:29] don't touch it or

[00:49:31] throw it out or

[00:49:32] something,

[00:49:32] or don't use it,

[00:49:33] I guess.

[00:49:34] But yeah,

[00:49:35] I feel like we need

[00:49:36] to hear about how

[00:49:38] it actually shows up.

[00:49:40] Yeah.

[00:49:40] I,

[00:49:41] yeah,

[00:49:41] honestly,

[00:49:41] like looking at that,

[00:49:42] that sentence again,

[00:49:43] like the,

[00:49:44] the part where he

[00:49:44] comes is like,

[00:49:45] do we really need,

[00:49:46] I mean,

[00:49:47] what,

[00:49:47] what's the importance

[00:49:48] of Sunday at 12 AM?

[00:49:49] Like,

[00:49:50] I feel like that's

[00:49:51] unnecessary compared to

[00:49:52] what we actually should

[00:49:53] probably need is like,

[00:49:54] does it knock on the

[00:49:55] door?

[00:49:55] Is there like a phantom

[00:49:56] knock at the door?

[00:49:57] And then like you open

[00:49:58] the door and like nobody's

[00:49:58] there,

[00:49:59] but there's a cartridge

[00:49:59] at your door on your

[00:50:00] doorstep,

[00:50:02] like that kind of thing.

[00:50:03] Like I,

[00:50:03] I get you.

[00:50:04] Like I'm,

[00:50:04] I'm definitely with you

[00:50:05] on this.

[00:50:05] It's like,

[00:50:06] yeah.

[00:50:07] Needs a little bit more

[00:50:08] on like how,

[00:50:09] how did it like,

[00:50:10] how do you stumble upon

[00:50:11] it at,

[00:50:12] cause I,

[00:50:12] like I didn't realize

[00:50:13] that Sunday at 12 AM

[00:50:14] was like,

[00:50:14] wait,

[00:50:14] that is midnight.

[00:50:15] What the hell?

[00:50:16] Yeah.

[00:50:16] That's not new.

[00:50:17] Like,

[00:50:17] yeah.

[00:50:18] Were you leaving for

[00:50:19] like work?

[00:50:19] Like at,

[00:50:20] like,

[00:50:20] or like do you,

[00:50:21] do you work an evening

[00:50:22] shift or something like

[00:50:22] that?

[00:50:23] And then you like came

[00:50:23] upon it?

[00:50:24] Like,

[00:50:25] cause like I've had that

[00:50:26] where like I've opened

[00:50:27] my door,

[00:50:27] my,

[00:50:27] my,

[00:50:28] my front door in the

[00:50:28] morning and stuff like

[00:50:29] that.

[00:50:29] And like there will

[00:50:30] be a surprise like

[00:50:32] package,

[00:50:32] like right at the

[00:50:33] doorstep.

[00:50:33] Like,

[00:50:33] Oh,

[00:50:34] let me just put this

[00:50:35] away.

[00:50:35] And yeah,

[00:50:36] but a package is one

[00:50:37] thing.

[00:50:38] Yeah.

[00:50:39] And 64 carts small.

[00:50:41] I mean,

[00:50:41] again,

[00:50:42] I have very small

[00:50:42] packages about the

[00:50:43] same size as a N64

[00:50:44] cartridge that have

[00:50:45] popped up still.

[00:50:47] Yeah.

[00:50:49] And I theoretically

[00:50:49] have a concrete front

[00:50:51] step and they gray

[00:50:52] N64 cartridges on it.

[00:50:54] You might not see it.

[00:50:55] Then you,

[00:50:55] yeah,

[00:50:55] regardless,

[00:50:56] that's not the big

[00:50:57] point.

[00:50:57] The big point is we

[00:50:59] need to know how it

[00:51:00] shows up.

[00:51:01] Was it a thunderstorm

[00:51:03] outside?

[00:51:03] You,

[00:51:03] he heard a really

[00:51:04] close thunder strike

[00:51:06] that sounded like it

[00:51:07] hit his front porch.

[00:51:08] Oh no,

[00:51:08] what happened?

[00:51:09] Oh,

[00:51:09] what the hell?

[00:51:10] Why is there

[00:51:11] something?

[00:51:11] Yeah.

[00:51:12] It just like,

[00:51:13] Oh my God.

[00:51:14] Now just pictures

[00:51:14] like,

[00:51:15] it's like,

[00:51:15] and then like,

[00:51:16] you like go outside

[00:51:17] and what the fuck?

[00:51:18] And you look outside

[00:51:18] and there's just this

[00:51:19] like black scorch

[00:51:19] mark.

[00:51:20] And in the center,

[00:51:20] epicenter of it,

[00:51:21] there's just a game

[00:51:22] cartridge.

[00:51:23] It's like,

[00:51:23] Oh,

[00:51:23] that slowly close the

[00:51:25] door.

[00:51:25] That's a red flag.

[00:51:27] Have I ever heard

[00:51:27] it?

[00:51:28] Well,

[00:51:28] I think it might be

[00:51:29] more along the lines

[00:51:29] of like,

[00:51:30] you hear that happen.

[00:51:33] Right.

[00:51:33] And you,

[00:51:34] you know,

[00:51:35] you walk past it.

[00:51:36] Sorry.

[00:51:37] You walk off your

[00:51:38] front porch.

[00:51:38] You see the,

[00:51:40] a tree down or something

[00:51:41] like shit off to deal

[00:51:42] with that in the morning.

[00:51:42] You turn around to go

[00:51:43] back inside and there's

[00:51:44] an N64 cart there that

[00:51:46] wasn't there a second

[00:51:46] ago.

[00:51:47] Yeah.

[00:51:48] Or something like that.

[00:51:49] There needs to be

[00:51:49] something described

[00:51:50] or even like it's

[00:51:52] taped to your door.

[00:51:53] Like,

[00:51:53] so you,

[00:51:54] you can't like step

[00:51:55] on it.

[00:51:55] So like you,

[00:51:56] you open the door

[00:51:57] and it's like,

[00:51:57] huh?

[00:51:57] And then you look,

[00:51:58] you notice there's

[00:51:58] something off about

[00:52:00] your,

[00:52:00] your,

[00:52:00] the other side of your

[00:52:01] door.

[00:52:02] It's like,

[00:52:02] Oh,

[00:52:03] hell's this,

[00:52:04] you know,

[00:52:05] it'd be kind of

[00:52:05] cooler.

[00:52:06] It's if just like

[00:52:06] it presented itself to

[00:52:08] him and don't do this

[00:52:09] front door thing.

[00:52:10] Cause the whole front

[00:52:11] door thing goes

[00:52:11] nowhere is the other

[00:52:12] thing.

[00:52:12] Yeah.

[00:52:13] That's true.

[00:52:14] It does nothing.

[00:52:15] Well,

[00:52:15] it's like a delivery

[00:52:16] kind of like it's,

[00:52:17] it's a,

[00:52:17] it's a generalized

[00:52:18] delivery kind of

[00:52:19] like scenario,

[00:52:20] but yeah,

[00:52:20] you want to know a

[00:52:21] spookier delivery.

[00:52:23] You go,

[00:52:24] Oh,

[00:52:24] I want to play some

[00:52:25] Mario cart.

[00:52:26] Hell yeah.

[00:52:27] Where's my games.

[00:52:28] You pull out your

[00:52:28] game drawer sitting on

[00:52:29] the top.

[00:52:29] There's a blank N64

[00:52:30] card all of a sudden.

[00:52:31] Yeah.

[00:52:32] Yes.

[00:52:33] Like it,

[00:52:33] it just,

[00:52:34] it's already in your

[00:52:35] house.

[00:52:36] Yeah.

[00:52:37] Yeah.

[00:52:38] And you've already

[00:52:39] researched this and

[00:52:40] you know what it is.

[00:52:41] It's like,

[00:52:41] Oh,

[00:52:42] how'd this come from?

[00:52:44] Yeah.

[00:52:45] Yeah.

[00:52:46] No,

[00:52:46] I,

[00:52:46] I,

[00:52:46] I think that's actually

[00:52:47] that's even creepier.

[00:52:49] It's just like,

[00:52:49] again,

[00:52:49] it ups the supernatural

[00:52:50] elements.

[00:52:51] Like,

[00:52:51] I don't remember

[00:52:52] buying this or

[00:52:53] getting this.

[00:52:54] What the fuck?

[00:52:55] Why is this in the

[00:52:56] shoe box with all

[00:52:57] my other game,

[00:52:58] my old games?

[00:52:59] Mm.

[00:53:01] So yeah,

[00:53:02] that's the longest

[00:53:03] short of this note

[00:53:03] is delivery service

[00:53:05] has to be better.

[00:53:07] We need more

[00:53:07] clarity on the

[00:53:08] delivery,

[00:53:08] on the,

[00:53:09] on the delivery

[00:53:09] system.

[00:53:10] Yes.

[00:53:11] Yeah.

[00:53:13] But I'll move on.

[00:53:14] In regards to the

[00:53:15] game's like defenses

[00:53:17] after turning it on

[00:53:19] and the defenses

[00:53:20] to turning it off

[00:53:21] basically.

[00:53:21] I'm glad that all

[00:53:22] these are listed

[00:53:23] as this is like one

[00:53:24] of the biggest

[00:53:25] issues I've had

[00:53:26] with most video

[00:53:27] game creepypastas

[00:53:28] is that they don't

[00:53:29] affect the player

[00:53:30] and they can,

[00:53:31] and that normally

[00:53:31] they can be turned

[00:53:32] off.

[00:53:33] This one can't.

[00:53:34] It's a shame it

[00:53:35] doesn't describe what

[00:53:36] happens when you try

[00:53:37] to unplug it,

[00:53:38] but I assume it'll

[00:53:39] shock you or burn

[00:53:40] you the same way

[00:53:40] it does when you

[00:53:41] try to pull the

[00:53:42] card out.

[00:53:42] Or you unplug it

[00:53:44] and it just,

[00:53:45] it's still rolling.

[00:53:46] You're fucked.

[00:53:47] He's like,

[00:53:47] no,

[00:53:48] you.

[00:53:48] That's a better

[00:53:49] way actually.

[00:53:50] You're right.

[00:53:51] Yeah.

[00:53:51] I'd love that.

[00:53:51] And I also love

[00:53:53] it's like,

[00:53:53] yeah,

[00:53:53] like not only can

[00:53:54] you like,

[00:53:55] like,

[00:53:55] can you not turn

[00:53:55] off the,

[00:53:56] like,

[00:53:56] can you not turn

[00:53:57] it off?

[00:53:57] Can you not unplug

[00:53:58] the TV or any of

[00:53:59] that?

[00:53:59] Like that,

[00:54:00] none of that

[00:54:00] matters.

[00:54:01] It's like,

[00:54:01] fine,

[00:54:01] I'll just leave.

[00:54:03] Uh,

[00:54:03] excuse me.

[00:54:03] Where's my

[00:54:04] door's a decal.

[00:54:06] Yeah.

[00:54:06] What the fuck?

[00:54:07] yeah,

[00:54:08] that's even more

[00:54:09] like entrapment.

[00:54:11] Like,

[00:54:11] yeah,

[00:54:12] like you go to

[00:54:13] reach the door

[00:54:14] handle and the

[00:54:15] door handle is

[00:54:15] just like a cube

[00:54:16] that's on the

[00:54:17] texture of a

[00:54:18] door.

[00:54:18] Yes.

[00:54:19] It does nothing.

[00:54:20] It's like,

[00:54:21] what the hell?

[00:54:21] It's like,

[00:54:22] what the fuck?

[00:54:23] Yeah.

[00:54:23] Yeah.

[00:54:25] Um,

[00:54:27] yeah,

[00:54:27] also compared to

[00:54:28] other video game

[00:54:29] creepypastas,

[00:54:30] the whole house

[00:54:31] is warded.

[00:54:32] So like,

[00:54:33] you can't even

[00:54:33] communicate to the

[00:54:34] outside world,

[00:54:35] which is also a good

[00:54:35] touch.

[00:54:36] Yeah.

[00:54:37] It doesn't say that

[00:54:38] like you can't even

[00:54:38] make calls and stuff

[00:54:39] like that.

[00:54:40] Yeah.

[00:54:40] Yeah.

[00:54:42] That's so.

[00:54:42] Yeah.

[00:54:42] That is like,

[00:54:43] you get your phone

[00:54:44] is like no service,

[00:54:44] like fuck try landline

[00:54:46] like no service.

[00:54:48] What the fuck?

[00:54:49] I'll use my internet.

[00:54:51] It'd be funny.

[00:54:51] You pull up your

[00:54:52] phone.

[00:54:52] Um,

[00:54:53] you like unlock it

[00:54:54] and it's the game

[00:54:56] like being played.

[00:54:57] Yeah.

[00:54:58] It's like streaming

[00:54:59] your TV.

[00:55:00] Oh God.

[00:55:00] It's the same with

[00:55:01] your computer.

[00:55:02] Like you're like,

[00:55:02] oh,

[00:55:02] I'll shout out to

[00:55:04] on Facebook or like

[00:55:05] Facebook,

[00:55:06] Mr.

[00:55:06] Like discord.

[00:55:07] And you like pop up,

[00:55:08] you turn on your,

[00:55:09] your,

[00:55:09] your computer and it

[00:55:10] immediately pops on the

[00:55:10] screen of the game.

[00:55:12] Yeah.

[00:55:12] It's like every single

[00:55:13] screen in your entire

[00:55:14] house is just mirroring

[00:55:16] the game screen.

[00:55:17] You pick up a fucking

[00:55:18] calculator.

[00:55:20] Screen is showing green.

[00:55:22] Yeah.

[00:55:23] I think that's a little

[00:55:23] like that one's a little

[00:55:25] like ridiculous.

[00:55:26] You could play doom on

[00:55:27] a calculator.

[00:55:29] People have done it.

[00:55:30] Dude,

[00:55:30] you could play doom on

[00:55:31] anything.

[00:55:31] Serious.

[00:55:32] I don't know if a

[00:55:33] calculator specifically,

[00:55:34] but people have played

[00:55:35] doom on the stupidest of

[00:55:36] things that you would not

[00:55:38] expect.

[00:55:39] Alexa call for help.

[00:55:42] Welcome to Halloween 64.

[00:55:44] It's like,

[00:55:45] no,

[00:55:46] play.

[00:55:46] It's just doing like the,

[00:55:47] the,

[00:55:48] the Skyrim thing.

[00:55:50] Oh yeah,

[00:55:50] that,

[00:55:51] yeah.

[00:55:51] I was doing it as,

[00:55:52] um,

[00:55:53] it's like describing the,

[00:55:54] um,

[00:55:55] I forget the term for it.

[00:55:56] It's an accessibility option

[00:55:57] in video games when you're like,

[00:55:58] you're blind basically.

[00:56:00] And it's telling you what

[00:56:01] you're highlighting.

[00:56:02] You're like,

[00:56:02] yeah,

[00:56:02] Paul's reading.

[00:56:04] I know what you're mean.

[00:56:06] I like to voice technically.

[00:56:08] Yeah.

[00:56:08] Yeah.

[00:56:09] But yeah,

[00:56:12] I'm just doing the,

[00:56:13] uh,

[00:56:14] the,

[00:56:15] uh,

[00:56:15] the Skyrim on anything,

[00:56:16] uh,

[00:56:18] and just like,

[00:56:19] except it's,

[00:56:19] it's a horror game now.

[00:56:21] It's a horror thing.

[00:56:22] Yeah.

[00:56:24] Uh,

[00:56:25] yeah.

[00:56:25] Yeah.

[00:56:26] The other option is,

[00:56:27] um,

[00:56:28] in regards to like,

[00:56:29] can't communicate the outside world.

[00:56:31] You can't leave.

[00:56:32] Even if I say like,

[00:56:34] well,

[00:56:34] fine.

[00:56:34] I just,

[00:56:35] I won't play the game.

[00:56:37] That's all fine and well until you run out of food and starve to death

[00:56:40] because you're locked in there.

[00:56:41] Even if it wasn't punishing you for not paying attention.

[00:56:45] Yeah.

[00:56:46] Or alternatively,

[00:56:47] um,

[00:56:48] if time is frozen,

[00:56:49] um,

[00:56:50] like it's suggested in this story,

[00:56:51] because it's saying how like,

[00:56:53] Oh yeah.

[00:56:53] the time stayed the entire time.

[00:56:57] Um,

[00:56:58] if time is frozen,

[00:56:59] and if you theoretically weren't being punished for not paying attention,

[00:57:03] you wouldn't starve or age or anything.

[00:57:06] And you'd just be stuck there in that moment forever.

[00:57:09] Yeah.

[00:57:09] You're in hell.

[00:57:09] Until you beat the game or die.

[00:57:11] Yeah.

[00:57:11] You're in hell.

[00:57:12] Yeah.

[00:57:13] Uh,

[00:57:14] also I just realized,

[00:57:14] yeah,

[00:57:15] like,

[00:57:15] so he,

[00:57:16] he,

[00:57:16] he presented himself itself on Sunday at 12 a.m.

[00:57:20] And then later on it says,

[00:57:21] to be honest,

[00:57:21] I'm not sure if time even passes while the playing the game as every clock in my

[00:57:26] apartment remained at 12 while playing.

[00:57:28] So that means that like the time,

[00:57:30] the time stopped as soon as he discovered the,

[00:57:34] the cartridge.

[00:57:35] Wow.

[00:57:36] Or the power went out.

[00:57:38] That too.

[00:57:39] Yeah.

[00:57:40] Wait a minute.

[00:57:41] God damn you.

[00:57:41] Mudana.

[00:57:41] Stop my,

[00:57:42] God damn it.

[00:57:44] You're mudana-fying it too much.

[00:57:46] The clocks went out.

[00:57:47] Okay.

[00:57:49] The clocks weren't,

[00:57:50] they were frozen.

[00:57:52] If there's no power,

[00:57:54] then the lights,

[00:57:56] the,

[00:57:56] the clocks couldn't be lit still,

[00:57:58] unless you're assuming that every single clock in this guy's house is

[00:58:01] analog.

[00:58:02] Yeah.

[00:58:04] Yeah.

[00:58:04] Well,

[00:58:05] no,

[00:58:05] I'm saying that it,

[00:58:06] the power flickered.

[00:58:08] Oh,

[00:58:09] I see what you mean.

[00:58:09] Like they're flashing 12 because they need the time to be set on them.

[00:58:16] Oh,

[00:58:16] you'd say they're flashing if that's the case.

[00:58:19] Yeah.

[00:58:19] Like there would be like zero,

[00:58:20] zero,

[00:58:21] zero,

[00:58:21] zero,

[00:58:21] like some blind,

[00:58:22] but again,

[00:58:23] that's also like,

[00:58:23] that's like,

[00:58:26] yeah.

[00:58:26] Cause yeah.

[00:58:27] I mean,

[00:58:28] at least the ones,

[00:58:28] most of the,

[00:58:29] most of the clocks I have,

[00:58:30] like digital clocks I have in my,

[00:58:31] my house,

[00:58:31] like they,

[00:58:33] they don't go to like 12,

[00:58:34] like the flashing 12,

[00:58:36] they're flashing zero,

[00:58:37] zero,

[00:58:37] zeros until you have to like go and re reset them.

[00:58:40] And I know that's probably mean like zero,

[00:58:41] zero,

[00:58:41] zero is also like basically like it's,

[00:58:43] it's the default.

[00:58:44] Like it's at the beginning.

[00:58:45] It's also midnight.

[00:58:47] Yeah.

[00:58:47] Yeah.

[00:58:47] That's what I mean.

[00:58:48] Yeah.

[00:58:49] It's also joking.

[00:58:50] If you,

[00:58:51] if you weren't aware,

[00:58:52] I,

[00:58:53] it went over my head.

[00:58:54] I'm sorry.

[00:58:56] It's fine.

[00:58:58] So my next note is,

[00:59:00] um,

[00:59:00] I was starting a death counter for him.

[00:59:02] Oh no.

[00:59:03] Cause I didn't know whether the game,

[00:59:05] whether the,

[00:59:06] um,

[00:59:06] the story was going to be like actually counting the deaths correctly.

[00:59:11] Yeah.

[00:59:12] Yeah.

[00:59:12] Um,

[00:59:13] and I miscounted technically because the story itself doesn't specifically say,

[00:59:21] every single death that happens to him.

[00:59:23] Cause like there's walks into the darkness on the street,

[00:59:27] he dies.

[00:59:28] Yeah.

[00:59:29] Then he talks about how,

[00:59:30] if you lose concentration while running down the street for seven hours,

[00:59:32] you die.

[00:59:34] That's two.

[00:59:35] And then it goes to level two.

[00:59:37] And it says he,

[00:59:38] if you get up to get a coat or check your thermostat,

[00:59:41] you lose a life.

[00:59:43] That would theoretically be three.

[00:59:45] If you equip a weapon for suicide,

[00:59:46] you die.

[00:59:47] Obviously that'd be four.

[00:59:49] Um,

[00:59:50] but he said that he lost four lives in level two.

[00:59:53] And when he got to level three,

[00:59:55] he had two lives left.

[00:59:57] So I'm assuming he lost concentration like three times when walking down the street or like he got up to get a coat,

[01:00:06] came back,

[01:00:07] a loss of life.

[01:00:08] Shit.

[01:00:08] Well,

[01:00:09] maybe let's see if the thermostat works,

[01:00:10] gets up,

[01:00:11] checks his thermostat,

[01:00:12] comes back.

[01:00:12] Shit.

[01:00:12] That goes another life.

[01:00:13] Yeah.

[01:00:14] And then like he equips a weapon.

[01:00:15] It kills himself.

[01:00:16] He's like,

[01:00:16] shit.

[01:00:17] What about this other weapon?

[01:00:18] Shit.

[01:00:19] Okay,

[01:00:19] fine.

[01:00:21] And then he's down to two at that point.

[01:00:23] Yeah.

[01:00:25] Which is,

[01:00:25] I assume how that works.

[01:00:29] Yeah.

[01:00:29] I'm assuming some of the examples he's giving are things that he came across or he did by accident.

[01:00:34] Yeah.

[01:00:35] And some of them are repeated.

[01:00:37] Like most of these are losing lives through loss of concentration one way or another,

[01:00:42] I assume.

[01:00:42] Yeah.

[01:00:43] And,

[01:00:43] speaking of loss of concentration,

[01:00:45] it says,

[01:00:46] you will hear doors in your house open and close,

[01:00:49] footsteps,

[01:00:50] even familiar voice whispers in your ear.

[01:00:52] Do not lose concentration or you will lose more lives.

[01:00:56] That would be so terrifying.

[01:00:57] I assume this is lost through like,

[01:01:00] if you take your eyes off the screen for too long,

[01:01:03] it just removes the life for you not paying attention.

[01:01:05] Yeah.

[01:01:05] And I like that aspect because it's forcing the character to watch it,

[01:01:08] which is,

[01:01:09] as I said before,

[01:01:10] something that most video game creepypastas don't address,

[01:01:13] it's the fact that you can just look away.

[01:01:17] Yeah.

[01:01:18] And there's no detriment.

[01:01:19] Yeah.

[01:01:20] Yeah,

[01:01:20] absolutely.

[01:01:22] Again,

[01:01:22] that's one thing I love.

[01:01:23] Like,

[01:01:23] that's why I was,

[01:01:24] for some reason,

[01:01:25] I didn't have it in my notes initially,

[01:01:26] or I forgot to read,

[01:01:27] read it through my notes to that part.

[01:01:29] That's what I love about this story is like,

[01:01:31] it's addressing a lot of the gripes that we've had over the years of

[01:01:35] vijipastas and like the scenario that it entails.

[01:01:38] It's like,

[01:01:39] why don't you do this?

[01:01:40] Oh,

[01:01:40] this is why you don't,

[01:01:41] why you can't do that.

[01:01:42] Why don't you do this?

[01:01:43] Oh,

[01:01:43] that's why.

[01:01:44] Like it,

[01:01:45] it's explaining,

[01:01:46] like,

[01:01:46] it's like making it almost like it's like,

[01:01:49] yes,

[01:01:49] it has all these tropes,

[01:01:51] but it also here,

[01:01:52] here's to explain why those tropes are enforced.

[01:01:56] In the game.

[01:01:57] Yeah.

[01:01:58] Because with most video game creepypastas,

[01:02:01] it's akin to just me booting up Resident Evil.

[01:02:05] You know,

[01:02:05] oh,

[01:02:06] those creepy things are happening on the screen.

[01:02:07] I'm going to go make a sandwich.

[01:02:09] I can pause it and come back.

[01:02:11] Doesn't matter.

[01:02:12] Something like I brought up,

[01:02:13] I think earlier this week,

[01:02:15] like off recording was like a lot of video pastas.

[01:02:18] I mean,

[01:02:19] I love video pastas.

[01:02:20] I love video game creepypastas.

[01:02:21] Like they're,

[01:02:22] it's sort of a guilty pleasure,

[01:02:23] but I also acknowledge that a lot of people,

[01:02:25] a lot of them at the end of the day are basically just like twisted,

[01:02:29] dark,

[01:02:30] like creepy fanfics of video games that somebody loves.

[01:02:34] And they decided to make into like a creepy game.

[01:02:36] Like,

[01:02:37] oh,

[01:02:37] like,

[01:02:38] like,

[01:02:39] and like Spyro.exe,

[01:02:41] Sonic.exe.

[01:02:42] How dare you?

[01:02:44] That's lots of bad,

[01:02:45] but yes.

[01:02:45] But like,

[01:02:46] even like other things,

[01:02:47] like even Ben drowned to a degree.

[01:02:49] Like,

[01:02:49] and like,

[01:02:49] it's a good one.

[01:02:50] Like,

[01:02:50] it's not bad,

[01:02:51] but it's like,

[01:02:52] it's at the end of the day,

[01:02:53] it's again,

[01:02:53] like that,

[01:02:54] that's sort of the whole genre of,

[01:02:56] of Jipasta,

[01:02:57] um,

[01:02:58] uh,

[01:02:58] Vigipastas is,

[01:02:59] it's a video game that you liked.

[01:03:01] And now I'm going to twist that nostalgia,

[01:03:03] uh,

[01:03:03] on its head.

[01:03:04] Like I'm going to subvert the,

[01:03:06] the,

[01:03:06] the normal expectations of the video game and make it a horror game.

[01:03:10] Um,

[01:03:11] and this story,

[01:03:12] it's,

[01:03:13] it,

[01:03:13] it uses those tropes,

[01:03:14] but then it also like makes it more,

[01:03:17] uh,

[01:03:17] dynamic by having it like counter the meta stuff that you can do.

[01:03:23] Yes.

[01:03:24] Which I love.

[01:03:25] Yeah.

[01:03:30] And then,

[01:03:31] um,

[01:03:31] the last one is we're saying like white hot pain filled my eyes as I

[01:03:36] instantly discovered the catch of all three,

[01:03:38] whatever pain you inflict on the person you will feel in reality.

[01:03:41] You will not lose any blood.

[01:03:42] You will not lose consciousness.

[01:03:43] You will not die,

[01:03:45] but you will feel every single sensation.

[01:03:47] If you take too long in between blows,

[01:03:50] your player will lose a life.

[01:03:52] So,

[01:03:53] um,

[01:03:55] based on the amount of lives he had left on level three,

[01:03:59] he had three lives.

[01:04:01] So I,

[01:04:02] did he end with like one live left or zero lives left?

[01:04:07] I don't remember.

[01:04:09] Uh,

[01:04:11] I think it's one life remaining.

[01:04:12] Yes.

[01:04:14] So through that entire 20 minute period,

[01:04:16] he managed to only lose one life through like,

[01:04:21] not through.

[01:04:22] Maybe there's like a time.

[01:04:24] Yeah.

[01:04:25] Yeah.

[01:04:25] I wonder how much is needed to lose a life from like,

[01:04:30] like not stabbing again.

[01:04:32] Like how generous that bracket is.

[01:04:34] Cause it's probably pretty generous considering the amount of pain he's

[01:04:37] inflicting.

[01:04:38] Yeah.

[01:04:40] I kind of wish that he lost way more lives in this last one compared to

[01:04:45] just one.

[01:04:47] Yeah.

[01:04:47] Like,

[01:04:47] like I'd actually like by,

[01:04:49] by level three,

[01:04:50] I actually been doing pretty well in the other previous levels.

[01:04:52] And,

[01:04:52] but level three is the one is the,

[01:04:54] was the real drain on my level,

[01:04:56] on my lives.

[01:04:56] Yeah.

[01:04:57] The last one,

[01:04:58] which is theoretically the hardest thing that you could do.

[01:05:01] Yeah.

[01:05:02] Because it is physically hurting you like literal,

[01:05:06] a literal stabbing pain,

[01:05:07] feeling like a knife going in you.

[01:05:10] And,

[01:05:10] and it's emotionally draining.

[01:05:12] Yeah.

[01:05:12] Yeah.

[01:05:12] Meanwhile,

[01:05:13] the other one is just like walk this way for seven hours.

[01:05:15] Oh,

[01:05:15] I lost four lives in that one.

[01:05:17] Whoops.

[01:05:18] Yeah.

[01:05:19] What level two,

[01:05:20] walk around a,

[01:05:21] walk around a house level and,

[01:05:23] and acquire,

[01:05:24] and,

[01:05:24] and just grab,

[01:05:25] grab weapons,

[01:05:26] but don't equip them.

[01:05:27] Like,

[01:05:28] and it's,

[01:05:28] it's,

[01:05:29] it's uncomfortable,

[01:05:29] but like,

[01:05:30] you just got to find all the weapons.

[01:05:32] It's basically a scavenger hunt.

[01:05:33] That's not too bad.

[01:05:34] Um,

[01:05:34] how the hell did you lose lives?

[01:05:35] No,

[01:05:36] you honestly,

[01:05:37] like those ones are incompetence.

[01:05:38] Those are,

[01:05:39] those are,

[01:05:39] especially because he's researched this.

[01:05:42] Yeah.

[01:05:43] He's heard of past,

[01:05:44] um,

[01:05:46] encounters,

[01:05:46] encounters of this,

[01:05:47] or at least rumors of this.

[01:05:49] So if this is anything like the previous ones,

[01:05:52] which I assume in hindsight,

[01:05:54] it's not anything like the previous ones,

[01:05:56] because he made these stupid mistakes,

[01:05:58] like equipping a weapon and stuff.

[01:06:00] I just also realized,

[01:06:01] sorry,

[01:06:01] not to cut you off.

[01:06:02] Um,

[01:06:03] but I just realized that's,

[01:06:05] this is enough.

[01:06:05] That's another trope that this story is,

[01:06:07] is pulling into.

[01:06:08] For like,

[01:06:08] Vigipastas.

[01:06:09] So there is a,

[01:06:10] there is a sort of a,

[01:06:11] another like series of,

[01:06:13] uh,

[01:06:14] uh,

[01:06:14] another sub genre of,

[01:06:15] of Vigipastas where it's like,

[01:06:18] uh,

[01:06:19] it's,

[01:06:19] it's almost borders like a,

[01:06:20] like a creepy game theory is like every copy of this,

[01:06:24] of,

[01:06:24] of blank game is personalized.

[01:06:28] Like,

[01:06:28] it's like every,

[01:06:29] every,

[01:06:30] it's,

[01:06:31] it's a,

[01:06:31] it's a running kind of trend in like certain like video games where it's like every fallout game is personalized.

[01:06:36] Every Super Mario 64 game is personalized.

[01:06:39] Like that's,

[01:06:40] those are like a couple of like,

[01:06:41] uh,

[01:06:42] those are the,

[01:06:42] like the two big ones that I've heard of,

[01:06:44] uh,

[01:06:44] of that trope of just like every,

[01:06:46] every game,

[01:06:47] every copy of this game is personalized to a person.

[01:06:49] Like,

[01:06:49] cause there's like an AI in the game that,

[01:06:51] that alters the game slightly.

[01:06:52] So it's,

[01:06:53] it's personalized to you.

[01:06:55] And obviously that's completely fake and false,

[01:06:57] but like,

[01:06:58] um,

[01:07:00] well,

[01:07:01] or like,

[01:07:01] that's sort of like,

[01:07:02] I,

[01:07:02] that almost feels like what this game is,

[01:07:04] what this is also like trying to invoke is that trope of like this game personalizes itself to the player.

[01:07:09] It doesn't through magical means,

[01:07:12] which is the only way that it would actually happen in real life,

[01:07:15] which is fun because it's,

[01:07:17] we're already dealing with a,

[01:07:18] um,

[01:07:18] some weird,

[01:07:19] like psychic vampire mimic.

[01:07:20] So yes.

[01:07:24] Yeah.

[01:07:24] Sorry.

[01:07:25] Uh,

[01:07:25] it's like it,

[01:07:26] I,

[01:07:26] you bring that up.

[01:07:27] I was like,

[01:07:27] Oh yeah.

[01:07:33] The TLDR on that note is I wish he lost like five lives in the last level.

[01:07:38] And the other ones were just kind of a couple here and there.

[01:07:41] Yeah.

[01:07:41] Or he's like,

[01:07:42] I've ran into this level.

[01:07:43] I know from,

[01:07:45] um,

[01:07:46] that's one thing I wish he did.

[01:07:47] I wish he referenced back to his previous knowledge.

[01:07:50] Cause he only does that at the very start of the,

[01:07:52] um,

[01:07:53] creepy pasta.

[01:07:54] So by the time I got to the point where he's like,

[01:07:57] I picked up a weapon,

[01:07:58] I equipped and I killed myself.

[01:07:59] I feel like that would have been a good time to be like,

[01:08:02] I heard rumors that in this level,

[01:08:05] if you equip any weapons,

[01:08:06] you kill yourself.

[01:08:07] So I did not do it.

[01:08:09] Yeah.

[01:08:10] Like he doesn't call on his previous knowledge at all.

[01:08:13] Like maybe it's like,

[01:08:15] I was like,

[01:08:15] but I didn't do it.

[01:08:16] But the only reason I lost,

[01:08:17] uh,

[01:08:18] lost the one life from it,

[01:08:19] uh,

[01:08:19] the first time was because,

[01:08:20] uh,

[01:08:21] it auto equips.

[01:08:22] And then,

[01:08:23] so I had to like figure out,

[01:08:24] I had to like immediately,

[01:08:24] like immediately shift to like to unequip of the weapon.

[01:08:27] As soon as I got,

[01:08:28] I picked it up or something like that.

[01:08:30] Yeah.

[01:08:30] Or maybe like you have to hold,

[01:08:32] like,

[01:08:32] like maybe in,

[01:08:32] in the game,

[01:08:33] you have to like hold the button down to equip to like,

[01:08:35] to put it in your inventory versus just like a quick tap causes it to

[01:08:40] equip kind of thing.

[01:08:42] Oh yeah.

[01:08:42] Sort of the reverse of what you use you a little bit.

[01:08:44] Yeah.

[01:08:45] Cause I know in like regular games,

[01:08:47] at least like more modern games,

[01:08:48] um,

[01:08:49] if you quick tap,

[01:08:49] it immediately goes to your inventory.

[01:08:51] Whereas like,

[01:08:51] if you hold and click on something,

[01:08:53] it'll actually like,

[01:08:53] um,

[01:08:54] it'll auto equip it for you.

[01:08:56] So,

[01:08:56] but yeah.

[01:08:59] Yeah.

[01:08:59] I think,

[01:09:00] I think you're right.

[01:09:00] I think a lot of,

[01:09:01] um,

[01:09:02] uh,

[01:09:02] there,

[01:09:02] there could be a little bit more of that,

[01:09:04] like of,

[01:09:04] of their characters,

[01:09:05] like background knowledge on the game.

[01:09:08] Since like,

[01:09:08] they,

[01:09:08] they spent like a year searching it out,

[01:09:11] uh,

[01:09:12] and,

[01:09:12] and hearing and reading like accounts of it or,

[01:09:14] or like legends of urban legends of it and stuff like that.

[01:09:17] Um,

[01:09:18] they,

[01:09:18] they otherwise are,

[01:09:19] they're kind of like woefully and ridiculously unprepared for when they

[01:09:24] actually encounter it.

[01:09:25] Yes.

[01:09:26] For some reason,

[01:09:27] even though he should be the most prepared out of everyone,

[01:09:29] cause he's been obsessed over it.

[01:09:30] Yeah.

[01:09:31] Like even,

[01:09:31] even the beginning where like it's,

[01:09:33] um,

[01:09:34] uh,

[01:09:34] when,

[01:09:34] when they find it or when it finds them and they,

[01:09:37] they just put it in the,

[01:09:38] they,

[01:09:38] they just like,

[01:09:40] uh,

[01:09:40] they do the stupid thing and,

[01:09:42] and like put it in the game.

[01:09:43] I feel like there should have been a little bit extra where it's like,

[01:09:45] he kind of like explains that,

[01:09:46] like before he,

[01:09:49] but the reason he put it into the game car into the,

[01:09:52] uh,

[01:09:52] when he found it,

[01:09:53] the reason why he put it into his console in the first place was because up

[01:09:57] to that point,

[01:09:58] he didn't believe any of the rumors or any of the stories.

[01:10:00] Yeah.

[01:10:00] So you wanted to know if it was true.

[01:10:02] Exactly.

[01:10:03] Yeah.

[01:10:03] Like it was a morbid curiosity.

[01:10:04] And then this story is really just the tale of curiosity kills the cat.

[01:10:08] Um,

[01:10:09] unfortunately,

[01:10:10] cause it might literally,

[01:10:11] if he had a cat,

[01:10:13] I was going to say,

[01:10:13] unfortunately,

[01:10:14] and also that should have been something he's like,

[01:10:16] like,

[01:10:16] like,

[01:10:16] like she was like,

[01:10:17] like it's,

[01:10:17] uh,

[01:10:17] when he brings that up,

[01:10:18] it was like,

[01:10:19] um,

[01:10:20] uh,

[01:10:21] any pet you,

[01:10:21] you own will die as soon as you lose a life.

[01:10:23] And then in brackets,

[01:10:25] rip my cat snuffles.

[01:10:27] Uh,

[01:10:28] like that would have been like really fun.

[01:10:29] Cause like,

[01:10:30] that's again,

[01:10:30] like it's a nod to like the,

[01:10:31] sort of the moral of the story is like,

[01:10:33] cause that is sort of the moral of this,

[01:10:35] this,

[01:10:35] this cream pasta is curiosity.

[01:10:37] We'll kill your curiosity kills the cat.

[01:10:40] Like,

[01:10:40] like your,

[01:10:42] your,

[01:10:42] your,

[01:10:43] his curiosity,

[01:10:44] uh,

[01:10:44] is what dooms him and presumably his pet.

[01:10:48] Yes.

[01:10:49] Although he survived,

[01:10:50] but yeah,

[01:10:51] the pet didn't of course,

[01:10:52] but yeah.

[01:10:52] Yeah.

[01:10:53] Again,

[01:10:54] RIP snuffles,

[01:10:55] rip snuffles,

[01:10:58] rip and tear.

[01:11:00] Speaking of doom.

[01:11:02] Yeah.

[01:11:04] But yeah,

[01:11:05] but that's all I got for notes.

[01:11:07] All right.

[01:11:08] Well,

[01:11:09] uh,

[01:11:09] I suppose we move on to final thoughts then.

[01:11:11] Uh,

[01:11:12] yeah,

[01:11:12] I'm still going to recommend it.

[01:11:13] Uh,

[01:11:14] it seems quite self-aware of the Vigipasta tropes and also presents this sort of walkthrough ritual pasta angle.

[01:11:22] Again,

[01:11:23] the,

[01:11:23] we,

[01:11:24] we,

[01:11:24] we've realized it's,

[01:11:25] it's,

[01:11:25] it's,

[01:11:25] it's not a ritual pasta per se.

[01:11:27] It's an instructional pasta.

[01:11:29] Um,

[01:11:31] and yeah,

[01:11:32] so like that's,

[01:11:33] that's kind of,

[01:11:34] it's very interesting,

[01:11:35] like meta commentary.

[01:11:36] It's,

[01:11:37] it sort of feels like a love letter to those,

[01:11:39] to,

[01:11:39] to a couple of different,

[01:11:40] like creepy pasta sub genres.

[01:11:43] Um,

[01:11:44] it's,

[01:11:45] it,

[01:11:46] it works for the most part.

[01:11:47] There could be some,

[01:11:48] there's definitely some room for improvement that we brought up,

[01:11:51] but,

[01:11:52] um,

[01:11:53] I,

[01:11:53] I definitely enjoyed the,

[01:11:55] the read and I could even see using this as inspiration for,

[01:11:58] a gaming scenario.

[01:11:59] Like,

[01:11:59] uh,

[01:11:59] like again,

[01:12:00] like a,

[01:12:00] a Cthulhu dark or,

[01:12:01] uh,

[01:12:03] just like a horror game scenario of some kind.

[01:12:06] Um,

[01:12:07] it also has a level of creepiness in it,

[01:12:12] uh,

[01:12:13] specifically in its descriptions of how things play out and,

[01:12:16] and,

[01:12:17] and horrid things that can happen to you.

[01:12:19] Like it,

[01:12:20] it,

[01:12:21] again,

[01:12:21] it's,

[01:12:21] it tackles the aspect that we kind of,

[01:12:24] have sort of,

[01:12:25] um,

[01:12:26] come to loathe in certain creep,

[01:12:27] in certain video game creep pastas where it's like nothing physically really happens to the player.

[01:12:32] Um,

[01:12:33] they just play this spooky game and then that,

[01:12:34] and it scared them or made them throw up.

[01:12:37] Um,

[01:12:37] this game is like you die in the game,

[01:12:39] you get hurt in the game,

[01:12:40] you hurt for real.

[01:12:42] Um,

[01:12:43] like that kind of thing.

[01:12:43] Like I,

[01:12:44] again,

[01:12:44] like it's definitely,

[01:12:46] it's got more impact than a lot of video game creep pastas tend to have.

[01:12:49] Um,

[01:12:50] say that like there's really visually,

[01:12:54] there's nothing super,

[01:12:56] super creepy happening in the game itself.

[01:13:00] It's like the opposite where most creepy video game,

[01:13:03] creepy pastas,

[01:13:03] nothing happens to the person,

[01:13:05] but there's a bunch of creepy shit happening on screen.

[01:13:07] This,

[01:13:08] there's like unsettling shit happening on screen.

[01:13:10] Like how do they know this sort of deal?

[01:13:12] Yeah.

[01:13:12] But like the creepy aspect of this is what happens to the player.

[01:13:17] Like it's completely focused on that.

[01:13:20] Yeah.

[01:13:20] And there's,

[01:13:21] there's also definitely like an,

[01:13:22] an enigma or like a mystery to the story.

[01:13:24] Cause like,

[01:13:25] where'd this game come from?

[01:13:26] We don't know.

[01:13:27] Like,

[01:13:27] why is it doing this?

[01:13:29] We've kind of come up with our own theories.

[01:13:30] Like it's some kind of like psychic vampire.

[01:13:33] Um,

[01:13:33] but like,

[01:13:34] or like,

[01:13:35] again,

[01:13:35] it's a misery machine,

[01:13:36] but,

[01:13:37] um,

[01:13:38] yeah,

[01:13:38] I definitely like,

[01:13:39] I like,

[01:13:40] like,

[01:13:40] yeah,

[01:13:40] like you said,

[01:13:41] like it,

[01:13:41] uh,

[01:13:41] a lot of,

[01:13:42] a lot of video pasta,

[01:13:43] video pastas focus on like hyper realistic graphics and gore in the actual game or the games,

[01:13:49] the games like visuals are so spooky.

[01:13:51] And some of that,

[01:13:51] how could this be happening to my character in the game?

[01:13:54] Whereas in this story,

[01:13:55] like you said,

[01:13:56] it,

[01:13:56] it's happening to the player.

[01:13:58] Like all the horror,

[01:13:58] a lot of the horror of this,

[01:14:00] this,

[01:14:00] uh,

[01:14:00] scenario is happening to the player more than in the game.

[01:14:06] The game is the player is the one that has the sanity that can be lost.

[01:14:10] Yeah,

[01:14:11] not exactly fictional video game character.

[01:14:13] Yeah.

[01:14:14] Well,

[01:14:14] and even more so like,

[01:14:15] it's also like,

[01:14:16] it is afflicting,

[01:14:17] like not just emotional or psychic damage to this character.

[01:14:20] It's afflicting a physical harm,

[01:14:22] even though like it,

[01:14:23] you're not like,

[01:14:24] he's not bleeding and like not getting physical,

[01:14:25] like,

[01:14:26] uh,

[01:14:27] wounds.

[01:14:27] He's,

[01:14:27] he's hurting and like,

[01:14:29] he's like bleeding from the ears and such.

[01:14:31] So like,

[01:14:31] it's definitely affecting me physically.

[01:14:35] Um,

[01:14:36] but yeah,

[01:14:36] it's,

[01:14:37] it's definitely a,

[01:14:38] uh,

[01:14:40] kind of a step above other video game creep pastas because of that.

[01:14:45] But,

[01:14:45] uh,

[01:14:46] that is my recommendation.

[01:14:48] Mikey,

[01:14:48] the East Dance for Evil.

[01:14:51] Um,

[01:14:53] well,

[01:14:54] yeah.

[01:14:57] So,

[01:14:59] I was just thinking about it.

[01:15:02] And,

[01:15:03] uh,

[01:15:04] well,

[01:15:04] what if this is more just repressed memories?

[01:15:09] So,

[01:15:11] like,

[01:15:11] you're really just going to die on the hill of just like mundanifying.

[01:15:16] Yeah.

[01:15:17] Like level one,

[01:15:18] the neighborhood is when he's dressed up as a six year old for Halloween.

[01:15:23] What if he got lost one Halloween?

[01:15:28] When he was six years old.

[01:15:31] There's a reason that they're referencing it.

[01:15:34] Yeah.

[01:15:34] Yeah.

[01:15:35] Like maybe that's what it's pulling from.

[01:15:38] Yeah.

[01:15:39] Yeah.

[01:15:40] So it's just,

[01:15:42] what,

[01:15:43] what,

[01:15:43] what if this is all just him in a therapy chair talking to his therapist?

[01:15:51] Cause he's been hypnotized into thinking that he's playing a video game.

[01:15:57] I mean,

[01:15:58] that's,

[01:15:58] that's,

[01:15:58] I guess that's a possibility.

[01:16:01] You want to be lame?

[01:16:02] That exact same argument with every single story ever told.

[01:16:06] Yeah.

[01:16:08] Well,

[01:16:09] but,

[01:16:10] like,

[01:16:11] like,

[01:16:12] I,

[01:16:12] I want to sort of,

[01:16:14] Mondayified so that basically,

[01:16:18] uh,

[01:16:19] his dog dying is basically happened when he was a kid.

[01:16:25] So it's a repressed memory.

[01:16:27] Not,

[01:16:28] it just dies as soon as you lose a life.

[01:16:31] Like,

[01:16:31] it just,

[01:16:33] uh,

[01:16:33] because that's,

[01:16:34] because that's what happens when you first lose a life.

[01:16:36] Like that's,

[01:16:36] it's his first,

[01:16:38] like,

[01:16:38] like life ending,

[01:16:39] kind of like life ending event that like traumatized that he,

[01:16:42] like trauma that he,

[01:16:44] yeah.

[01:16:45] I,

[01:16:45] I kind of see where you're going with this.

[01:16:47] Like,

[01:17:16] like,

[01:17:17] have that be like something at the end where it turns out,

[01:17:19] like he's in a therapy chair or something like that.

[01:17:21] Or like,

[01:17:22] like,

[01:17:22] I think our session's done now or like,

[01:17:23] or game,

[01:17:24] game complete.

[01:17:25] Like,

[01:17:26] um,

[01:17:27] yeah.

[01:17:27] But like,

[01:17:28] absolutely ruin this story.

[01:17:31] It would ruin,

[01:17:32] it would ruin this story.

[01:17:33] But like,

[01:17:34] I feel like that could be an interesting take for another story.

[01:17:38] Um,

[01:17:38] I don't want it for this story,

[01:17:40] obviously,

[01:17:40] but like,

[01:17:40] I could see like that being interesting idea.

[01:17:43] Uh,

[01:17:45] as you pointed out,

[01:17:46] you did state that you do want more,

[01:17:48] like what happened to the cartridge?

[01:17:50] No.

[01:17:51] Okay.

[01:17:51] I,

[01:17:51] I,

[01:17:52] for,

[01:17:53] for clarity,

[01:17:54] I,

[01:17:55] I said,

[01:17:56] like,

[01:18:01] it vanished because it's supernatural.

[01:18:02] like he couldn't,

[01:18:03] you know,

[01:18:03] find it again.

[01:18:04] Like,

[01:18:04] that's fine.

[01:18:04] Like,

[01:18:04] that's all I need.

[01:18:06] I don't need it.

[01:18:06] Like,

[01:18:07] it was all,

[01:18:07] it was all dream.

[01:18:08] It was all,

[01:18:08] uh,

[01:18:09] it was all in his head.

[01:18:10] Like nothing's,

[01:18:10] nothing's,

[01:18:10] uh,

[01:18:11] nothing supernatural.

[01:18:12] Fuck you review cultist.

[01:18:13] You can poof away in like a cloud of pink mist for all I care.

[01:18:18] Yeah.

[01:18:19] I just want to know where it went.

[01:18:21] Yeah,

[01:18:21] exactly.

[01:18:21] That's all I need.

[01:18:23] It could poof in,

[01:18:24] in a cloud of butterflies and leave in a pink cloud of mist.

[01:18:27] That's fine.

[01:18:28] I just want to see it come and go.

[01:18:30] So personally,

[01:18:31] my question to you,

[01:18:32] Mikey is who hurt you to make you want to like,

[01:18:36] mundanify these things.

[01:18:38] Have you heard him talk about any creepypasta ever?

[01:18:42] That's true.

[01:18:43] Yeah.

[01:18:45] That's what he do.

[01:18:47] Yeah.

[01:18:48] Yes.

[01:18:50] Um,

[01:18:52] yeah.

[01:18:53] So while the story does focus on,

[01:19:00] um,

[01:19:01] the,

[01:19:01] the character quote unquote taking damage in real life,

[01:19:05] um,

[01:19:08] the,

[01:19:08] the fact that he,

[01:19:11] um,

[01:19:11] basically is exhausted at the end and falls asleep.

[01:19:18] Like that to me,

[01:19:22] like we were on the assumption that you die when you lose 10 lives.

[01:19:30] But what if you just fall asleep from exhaustion when you lose 10 lives?

[01:19:37] I,

[01:19:37] I like,

[01:19:38] I do.

[01:19:39] I do like that.

[01:19:41] Like,

[01:19:41] again,

[01:19:41] it's what we're saying earlier.

[01:19:43] It's like losing all 10 lives.

[01:19:46] Doesn't necessarily mean like he's assuming he dies in real life.

[01:19:49] Yeah.

[01:19:49] It could just be like a reset or something.

[01:19:51] I do like the idea.

[01:19:52] It's like,

[01:19:52] yeah,

[01:19:53] he hit him.

[01:19:54] his last life was when he killed,

[01:19:57] when he finally killed the person on the bed.

[01:19:59] Um,

[01:20:01] and then he just passed out from exhaustion.

[01:20:04] I think that,

[01:20:04] that,

[01:20:05] that would actually be an interesting like take for that.

[01:20:08] It's like,

[01:20:09] well,

[01:20:09] yeah,

[01:20:09] no,

[01:20:09] you don't die.

[01:20:10] You just,

[01:20:10] you just pass out.

[01:20:13] And the other thing,

[01:20:14] what if winning the game is losing all 10 lives?

[01:20:18] Yeah.

[01:20:20] Well,

[01:20:21] it just,

[01:20:21] the,

[01:20:21] the whole game complete and then he blacks out.

[01:20:25] Yeah.

[01:20:25] Like could be exactly what happens when you lose your last life.

[01:20:31] Yeah,

[01:20:32] it could.

[01:20:32] Yeah.

[01:20:32] And then it goes like,

[01:20:34] Oh,

[01:20:34] you lost the game.

[01:20:35] Oh yeah.

[01:20:35] It could be like,

[01:20:36] okay,

[01:20:36] game complete.

[01:20:37] Yeah.

[01:20:37] It says game complete.

[01:20:38] Doesn't mean you won the game.

[01:20:40] Yeah.

[01:20:41] It just means game complete.

[01:20:42] So like,

[01:20:42] and you lost the game.

[01:20:44] Sorry,

[01:20:45] everybody out there who just lost the game.

[01:20:47] Um,

[01:20:50] I'm not sorry for you,

[01:20:52] Mikey.

[01:20:54] Um,

[01:20:55] but,

[01:20:55] uh,

[01:20:56] yeah,

[01:20:56] like,

[01:20:56] like,

[01:20:57] and so that's why the game,

[01:20:58] like,

[01:20:58] like,

[01:20:58] like knocked him out and then it vanished and went off to somebody else

[01:21:02] because he lost it.

[01:21:03] And so now it's moving on to its next,

[01:21:05] uh,

[01:21:05] the next player.

[01:21:06] I hate that.

[01:21:08] Oh,

[01:21:08] I'm sorry.

[01:21:09] Uh,

[01:21:11] so yeah,

[01:21:12] uh,

[01:21:13] I guess part of it is I couldn't fully get into this.

[01:21:17] Um,

[01:21:18] um,

[01:21:19] like for me,

[01:21:20] it just didn't resonate with me,

[01:21:22] even though it did affect the main character in the real world.

[01:21:27] Uh,

[01:21:28] so I'm still not going to recommend this.

[01:21:30] That's fair.

[01:21:32] Gamer,

[01:21:33] your,

[01:21:33] your final recommendation.

[01:21:36] So just wanting to argue with you.

[01:21:39] There is like,

[01:21:40] if this whole thing is like,

[01:21:42] yeah,

[01:21:43] you,

[01:21:43] when you get knocked out,

[01:21:44] you wake up,

[01:21:45] you're fine.

[01:21:45] Here's a popsicle.

[01:21:46] Like it's completely sucking out all of the fear and worry that this entire story has been telling you the whole time.

[01:21:59] Same thing with the,

[01:22:01] um,

[01:22:01] the reveal of it being just like,

[01:22:04] uh,

[01:22:05] you're hypnotized for a therapy session.

[01:22:08] It's,

[01:22:08] it's making the whole thing.

[01:22:10] It was all a dream and it meant nothing.

[01:22:12] Whereas the way it is now,

[01:22:14] it is left to assume that in this universe that this game exists in,

[01:22:19] this is actually a wandering mimic,

[01:22:24] murdering,

[01:22:25] um,

[01:22:26] creature that is assuming different forms of media to kill people.

[01:22:30] And to torture them all the way through until their possible death and giving them 10 lives to potentially survive.

[01:22:37] But it's still siphoning like fear and like wrecking these people by the end of it.

[01:22:43] Yeah,

[01:22:43] it's definitely,

[01:22:44] it's,

[01:22:44] it's definitely feeding off of the emotional pain of a person.

[01:22:48] That's what it seems that this thing is doing.

[01:22:51] So like,

[01:22:52] um,

[01:22:53] yeah,

[01:22:53] like me again,

[01:22:54] like you could say that like,

[01:22:56] maybe like if it does,

[01:22:57] like,

[01:22:58] uh,

[01:22:58] after you've lost 10 lives and it like,

[01:23:00] you just black out and move,

[01:23:01] it moves on.

[01:23:01] Actually,

[01:23:02] no,

[01:23:02] you're right.

[01:23:02] I,

[01:23:03] cause he only,

[01:23:03] cause he only was down to one life.

[01:23:05] He survived because it didn't,

[01:23:07] it,

[01:23:07] it siphoned just enough to,

[01:23:10] to keep itself fed.

[01:23:11] But then the person was like stalwart enough to like,

[01:23:14] not like completely like die from the experience.

[01:23:19] Like 10 lives is like sort of like the,

[01:23:21] the,

[01:23:21] the bar that it has for most people,

[01:23:24] uh,

[01:23:24] to survive his,

[01:23:25] it's,

[01:23:26] it's vampiric siphoning of,

[01:23:27] of their,

[01:23:28] of their,

[01:23:29] like their mental capacities and such.

[01:23:31] Or it's like,

[01:23:32] I mean,

[01:23:32] it's all magic and like a video game.

[01:23:35] And shit,

[01:23:35] it could literally be like,

[01:23:36] how strong is this guy?

[01:23:38] How rough?

[01:23:39] I,

[01:23:39] I can basically see hit this dude's hit points.

[01:23:42] And then each of these shots takes 10% of health.

[01:23:46] Like,

[01:23:46] or it's so personalized.

[01:23:48] Like,

[01:23:49] uh,

[01:23:49] Ray,

[01:23:50] uh,

[01:23:50] Rhaegar here has 10,

[01:23:52] 10,

[01:23:52] uh,

[01:23:52] 10 lives.

[01:23:53] Not everybody gets 10 lives.

[01:23:55] Cause it's based on like,

[01:23:56] it's based on their tolerance level.

[01:23:58] So like,

[01:23:59] Oh man,

[01:23:59] can you imagine?

[01:23:59] It's like,

[01:24:00] it's like,

[01:24:00] what are you talking about?

[01:24:01] This game gave me three lives.

[01:24:02] Oh man,

[01:24:04] man,

[01:24:05] you're really frail,

[01:24:06] like emotionally.

[01:24:07] And,

[01:24:08] and like your,

[01:24:09] your constitution's not very good.

[01:24:11] Yeah.

[01:24:12] Or it's like a chain smoker or something like that.

[01:24:14] Yeah.

[01:24:14] Cause again,

[01:24:15] like I,

[01:24:16] I kind of,

[01:24:16] I mean,

[01:24:16] I kind of perceive it as like,

[01:24:18] uh,

[01:24:19] the real,

[01:24:19] how you die is basically like,

[01:24:21] cause like you've,

[01:24:22] your body,

[01:24:23] your mind and your body have just had enough from like the fear and like the torment that you're,

[01:24:27] you basically just like,

[01:24:27] you die of,

[01:24:28] you die of a broken heart kind of thing,

[01:24:30] except like more in a,

[01:24:31] in a more like,

[01:24:33] in a,

[01:24:34] in a less sappy way.

[01:24:35] Like you're basically,

[01:24:36] you're cause like there are,

[01:24:37] there are instances in real life where like people have just died from like shock or like died from,

[01:24:41] from fright and stuff like that.

[01:24:43] So,

[01:24:43] or died from,

[01:24:44] from like an emotional trauma.

[01:24:46] So.

[01:24:47] Yeah.

[01:24:47] That kind of thing.

[01:24:48] But like specifically the last part,

[01:24:51] you are inflicting actual damage on yourself.

[01:24:54] That isn't,

[01:24:56] you're not,

[01:24:56] well,

[01:24:56] I guess it is still like a,

[01:24:58] uh,

[01:24:59] a mental thing because you're not taking physical damage,

[01:25:01] but you're feeling the physical damage as if you were.

[01:25:04] Yeah.

[01:25:04] Which would be very traumatic to the body,

[01:25:06] even like as a psychosomatic component.

[01:25:09] Cause like,

[01:25:09] you're not,

[01:25:10] you're not physically getting.

[01:25:11] Yeah.

[01:25:12] When like,

[01:25:13] and there are,

[01:25:13] again,

[01:25:14] there are cases where like somebody has like,

[01:25:16] has felt like something like that,

[01:25:17] where they're about to die.

[01:25:18] And they've just died like from like a heart attack or like from like their

[01:25:21] body is just like they,

[01:25:23] their body thinks they're dead.

[01:25:25] So they died.

[01:25:26] Rough.

[01:25:27] Yep.

[01:25:28] I'm more on your side than,

[01:25:29] than Mikey,

[01:25:30] like looking over at Mikey there with his like smug,

[01:25:32] uh,

[01:25:33] mundanity and stuff with that.

[01:25:35] I was trying to like,

[01:25:36] I was also just trying to like help blend the,

[01:25:40] uh,

[01:25:40] the,

[01:25:41] the,

[01:25:41] the ideas together there on his end.

[01:25:44] Yeah.

[01:25:45] Regardless,

[01:25:46] the story itself,

[01:25:46] I liked it because,

[01:25:47] every single trope of video game passes,

[01:25:50] that pisses me off.

[01:25:51] This goes,

[01:25:52] yeah,

[01:25:52] no,

[01:25:53] don't do those.

[01:25:55] So like,

[01:25:55] here's why those work.

[01:25:57] Yeah.

[01:25:58] Those trips are there.

[01:25:59] Yeah.

[01:25:59] We have explanations of literally everything except why he forgot all of his

[01:26:04] past knowledge,

[01:26:05] where it came from,

[01:26:06] where to go,

[01:26:07] where to come from.

[01:26:09] Can I go,

[01:26:09] where did you come from?

[01:26:11] Where did you go?

[01:26:12] Where did you come from?

[01:26:13] Come on.

[01:26:13] Nigel.

[01:26:14] Oh yeah.

[01:26:14] Uh,

[01:26:16] so yeah,

[01:26:16] those are probably the only three things that bug me about this,

[01:26:19] but everything else has done so well that I,

[01:26:22] I recommend it because this is,

[01:26:24] it's a 90% there for like an ideal video game creepypasta for me.

[01:26:30] Yeah.

[01:26:31] And it's not even using any IP.

[01:26:33] It's just using its own thing.

[01:26:36] So there's no,

[01:26:38] you don't have to worry about fanboys being like,

[01:26:40] oh,

[01:26:40] well that's wrong.

[01:26:41] This is wrong.

[01:26:42] No,

[01:26:42] you're doing your own thing.

[01:26:43] It could be whatever the hell you want.

[01:26:45] Yeah.

[01:26:46] It's,

[01:26:46] it's making up its own little game.

[01:26:48] Um,

[01:26:48] that,

[01:26:48] and it can,

[01:26:49] it can alter it to personalize to the player or to the victim.

[01:26:54] Yeah.

[01:26:55] No,

[01:26:55] I get you.

[01:26:55] Yeah.

[01:26:56] So yeah,

[01:26:57] I,

[01:26:58] I fully recommend this one.

[01:26:59] All right.

[01:27:01] Well then I guess that'll be,

[01:27:03] uh,

[01:27:03] two recommendations and one non-recommendation.

[01:27:07] Mikey,

[01:27:08] after all this,

[01:27:08] you're still like fully not recommending this.

[01:27:13] Just clarify.

[01:27:15] Yes.

[01:27:16] Okay.

[01:27:20] Well,

[01:27:20] you aren't human.

[01:27:21] So I,

[01:27:21] I shouldn't,

[01:27:22] I shouldn't expect to be able to understand your complex thoughts.

[01:27:28] That's fine.

[01:27:30] Yeah.

[01:27:32] I,

[01:27:32] I don't know.

[01:27:33] Like,

[01:27:33] like if it,

[01:27:35] instead of game complete said feeding complete,

[01:27:38] that would lend to,

[01:27:40] uh,

[01:27:43] that,

[01:27:44] that would very much lend to cultists idea of a vampire.

[01:27:47] Um,

[01:27:48] yeah.

[01:27:48] And it's just like outwardly saying it.

[01:27:50] And then it's like,

[01:27:51] there's no mystery anymore.

[01:27:54] Yeah.

[01:27:54] Again,

[01:27:54] like that's basically programmed this quote unquote game to look like a game as it's going through.

[01:28:01] So like people could assume it one way or another,

[01:28:05] you know,

[01:28:06] when people,

[01:28:06] um,

[01:28:08] recount the tale of what happened.

[01:28:12] Yeah.

[01:28:12] I,

[01:28:13] it's sort of like,

[01:28:14] yeah,

[01:28:14] it's,

[01:28:14] I,

[01:28:15] again,

[01:28:15] it depends.

[01:28:15] Again,

[01:28:16] it also depends on like,

[01:28:18] again,

[01:28:19] your personal like preference to these kind of things.

[01:28:20] Cause like,

[01:28:21] again,

[01:28:21] not,

[01:28:21] not,

[01:28:22] I love video game creep pastas,

[01:28:24] but like Mikey doesn't really,

[01:28:25] sometimes Mikey doesn't care for them.

[01:28:27] So like,

[01:28:27] I can't stand them either.

[01:28:29] Yeah.

[01:28:30] What?

[01:28:31] Really?

[01:28:31] The guy called the gamer in yellow.

[01:28:32] No,

[01:28:33] I hate video game.

[01:28:33] Yeah.

[01:28:34] Yeah.

[01:28:39] Now,

[01:28:39] if you go,

[01:28:40] you know,

[01:28:40] nevermind,

[01:28:40] I'm going to go,

[01:28:41] uh,

[01:28:41] after this recording,

[01:28:42] I'm going to go read a book.

[01:28:44] Yes,

[01:28:45] indeed.

[01:28:46] Uh,

[01:28:46] but yeah,

[01:28:47] no,

[01:28:47] um,

[01:28:48] but like it,

[01:28:49] it,

[01:28:49] it depends on like,

[01:28:50] like time and time again,

[01:28:51] my,

[01:28:52] uh,

[01:28:52] Mikey and I have like,

[01:28:53] we,

[01:28:53] we butt heads on like,

[01:28:54] on these kinds of like genres of game of,

[01:28:57] of creepypastas and like,

[01:28:58] even like,

[01:28:59] uh,

[01:29:00] the,

[01:29:00] the,

[01:29:00] the different types.

[01:29:01] So like,

[01:29:02] I,

[01:29:02] I,

[01:29:02] I get where he's going.

[01:29:03] It was like,

[01:29:04] he doesn't like really care for some of the tropes and some of that.

[01:29:06] And even though this one kind of tries to fix those tropes,

[01:29:08] like there's still those tropes and some of that.

[01:29:10] So yeah,

[01:29:11] everyone likes their own things.

[01:29:12] Like I know that like,

[01:29:14] there have been a couple of stories where you guys loved it.

[01:29:17] And because I saw something completely wrong right at the start,

[01:29:22] it completely ruined my enjoyment of the entire story yeah like that's happened multiple times

[01:29:27] so i get it i'm just shocked yeah but uh but yeah um like like i said that'll do it for this week's

[01:29:36] episode so if you like what you heard or if you didn't leave a comment in the comment section

[01:30:44] thank you immensely because without your listenership it would be like screaming into the void

[01:30:49] and without your authorship without posting these stories and writing and typing and posting these

[01:30:55] stories online and sharing them with the internet we really wouldn't have much of a show because we'd
