[00:00:17] Hello and welcome to A Dente Rigamortis. I'm Review Cultist.

[00:00:22] I'm Mikey, the East Dan's Reval.

[00:00:24] And I'm the Gamer in Yellow.

[00:00:26] And we're here to discuss those internet stories, most creepy and most pasta, and be critically silly doing it.

[00:00:31] And tonight we have... Bigger Fish by Won't Think Straight.

[00:00:37] So, yep, this one's another story from the Won't Think Straight saga.

[00:00:42] It's on Reddit NoSleep. There's a whole archived list of them.

[00:00:47] And yeah, we'll leave a link in the description below where you can find them and such.

[00:00:53] And yeah, before we get too far ahead from here, let's give our initial recommendations.

[00:00:58] I am going to recommend this one.

[00:01:00] I am going to personally recommend this one.

[00:01:04] And here comes Gambit. I'm running the gambit of like all the different options, apparently, because I'm not going to recommend this one.

[00:01:10] Okay. Well, let's find out why we ran the gambit of personal choices and options or opinions, starting with the rundown.

[00:01:20] So, WTS is with Steve from the previous story involving cracks and bones, helping take notes with interviews with a convicted murderer as part of Steve's post-grad psychology thesis.

[00:01:39] It's during these interviews with the imprisoned murderer, Malcolm, that we learn a bit more about Malcolm's shaky and sad spiraling past.

[00:01:49] How he left home young with a girl who turned out to not to be the love of his life and moved on away from him.

[00:02:00] And when he finally came home after gallivanting across the country, taking up odd jobs and such, he found that his home, his old home was dilapidated as his parents were dead after spending a bunch of their money trying to locate him.

[00:02:17] Years went by and after drowning himself in booze, he decided to drown himself for real in the harbor.

[00:02:25] But upon seeing the oceanic horizon and the boats bobbing in the surf, he decided there was more, there was something more to live for.

[00:02:34] So, he sobered up and got himself some money to buy a boat so he could go out fishing at sea.

[00:02:41] A few more years on and he was heading out to his favorite spot to fish when he came across a rich yacht with a family of stuck-up folks on his way to the fishing spot.

[00:02:56] Paying them little mind, he went on to his fishing spot that evening and was prepping in for a long haul, but then that trip was cut short on account of a storm that was coming in.

[00:03:08] On the way back to harbor, he found the yacht still in the place it had been left, and it was starting to list dangerously to the side as there was a gash at the water level on the boat.

[00:03:22] He decided to check in on the family and the people that were on the boat who were not responding to any of his calls or of his haulers out to it.

[00:03:32] And something just didn't seem right, and so he went on board.

[00:03:36] No one was there at first, as far as he could tell, but the door deeper inside had been bashed open as if from within.

[00:03:43] So he decided to explore further inside the actual yacht and soon discovered that the family was still there, or at least their feet were in their shoes.

[00:03:56] It was a whole bloody affair, and as he panicked and fled the scene, the Coast Guard had arrived and placed him in custody, and soon he was in court for the murder of six people.

[00:04:10] Thing is, he confessed to doing these things and pleaded insanity.

[00:04:17] As Steve and WTS ask why at the end of the session, as to why he pleaded insanity and wanted to go to prison, Malcolm stated that he figured he was safer in prison.

[00:04:32] That out there in the world, where this thing that had done this horrible thing to people had killed this family.

[00:04:42] Yeah, like it's always a bigger fish out there.

[00:04:44] So I'm going to stay here where it's all protected and secure in a prison.

[00:04:50] So yeah, that's the end of the story.

[00:04:54] He's got free housing, free food.

[00:04:56] Yeah.

[00:04:58] He's like, he's like, I'm the, I'm not, I may have pleaded crazy, but I'm not the crazy one.

[00:05:07] That's what they all say.

[00:05:09] Exactly.

[00:05:11] Yeah.

[00:05:12] So that is, that is bigger fish.

[00:05:14] I suppose we'll move on to.

[00:05:17] Everyone tolerates the grammar inquisitions at this point and forever.

[00:05:22] Um, and, uh, yeah, I've got a couple here myself because friends don't let friends accidentally get murdered doing homework.

[00:05:33] And then the next paragraph goes into our first meeting with Malcolm was unproductive.

[00:05:38] Our thoughts mostly focused on trying not to get killed.

[00:05:43] Okay.

[00:05:44] So I referenced this quote here because in the story, um, we get like a whole blurb, like at the beginning of like where it starts in media.

[00:05:52] Res.

[00:05:54] Um, or we get like a cold opening at the start.

[00:05:58] And at the end of that, that first sentence I reference, um, it seems like it, it was a good spot where there should be like a dividing line or like a horizontal line.

[00:06:08] Um, before it moves on to the next scene where like hit where they're actually interviewing Malcolm and stuff like that.

[00:06:13] Not like sitting well, the prep work.

[00:06:14] You mean basically where it's like, and Malcolm was by far the most memorable.

[00:06:18] The interview had been set up by blah, blah, blah.

[00:06:22] Yeah.

[00:06:22] Kind of like that.

[00:06:23] Um, yeah.

[00:06:24] Or I'd even use that one as well.

[00:06:26] Yeah.

[00:06:26] That would work as well.

[00:06:27] Um, like that spot.

[00:06:28] But, um, especially since the story does use a horizontal break line for a similar purpose.

[00:06:34] It's like twice.

[00:06:35] Yeah, exactly.

[00:06:36] It uses it a couple of times.

[00:06:38] So yeah, I think, I think the horizontal line should have, should have been placed, uh, in between some, uh, some earlier, uh, some earlier paragraphs or lines.

[00:06:46] Uh, but I'll move on to the next thing I have.

[00:06:49] He decided was, wasn't already.

[00:06:52] No, he decided was, wasn't ready to go yet.

[00:06:54] I think it's supposed to be, he decided he wasn't ready to go yet.

[00:06:59] Yeah.

[00:07:01] And my next one here, no doubt that box will buy him a few favors.

[00:07:09] So welcome to my tense talk.

[00:07:11] Kind of.

[00:07:12] I feel like it should have like, should it remain?

[00:07:15] No doubt that box will buy him a few favors or should it be?

[00:07:20] No doubt that box would buy him a few favors.

[00:07:23] Um, because at this point I think the story, most of the time the story was keeping to a past tense.

[00:07:28] Um, yeah.

[00:07:32] Would I guess?

[00:07:34] Yeah.

[00:07:34] If he was actively saying it in dialogue, those cigarettes will buy you a few favors.

[00:07:41] That makes sense, but he's not.

[00:07:43] Yeah.

[00:07:44] So.

[00:07:46] All right.

[00:07:46] And then my next one here.

[00:07:49] It was a chilly Saturday night.

[00:07:50] I was in happy mood.

[00:07:53] I was in a happy mood or a happy mood.

[00:07:57] Unless this is supposed to emulate the jot form in which WTS is furiously transcribing this, these notes, which, uh, it does describe him like, like furiously writing in the notepad, like the story down in jot form.

[00:08:11] But this isn't a screenshot of that.

[00:08:14] Exactly.

[00:08:14] Yeah.

[00:08:15] So, and, and I mean, I think this was in dialogue too, but like at the same time, I think this is a case of where like it should be.

[00:08:24] I was in a happy mood, not I was in happy mood.

[00:08:27] Yeah.

[00:08:29] Because this is how I always talk.

[00:08:30] Well, also given the draw that this character has, like it was definitely like, I couldn't help but like also give it like a gravelly, like kind of some kind of, not even a southern drawl, just like a, just a drawl of some kind.

[00:08:40] Yeah.

[00:08:42] Um, but I'll, I'll move on to the last one I have not wanting to be caught.

[00:08:49] It's a case in point, not wanting to be caught in a storm so far from Harbor.

[00:08:56] I pulled up me lines.

[00:08:59] I pulled up me lines up, made me way back.

[00:09:05] So I don't mind the inflections and accents and in the wording, but this actually there, there's a, there's a, there's a,

[00:09:11] a seemingly in an actual typo in here.

[00:09:13] So I, I kind of tried to correct it.

[00:09:14] So I pulled up me lines and made me way back.

[00:09:19] So instead of, so instead of the up, um, uh, so like I pulled up me lines and then instead of up made me way back, it should be and made me way back.

[00:09:30] So.

[00:09:31] Oh yeah.

[00:09:31] Cause it, it would either be, I pulled me lines up or pulled up me lines, not I pulled up me lines up.

[00:09:38] Yeah, exactly.

[00:09:39] It's doubling down on herbs.

[00:09:41] Yeah.

[00:09:42] Which I mean, I mean, maybe that's how he's, he was, he said it, but it just seems weird.

[00:09:47] But, um, but yeah, that's the, uh, the end of my grammar inquisition.

[00:09:54] So Mikey, the East ends for evil.

[00:09:57] All right.

[00:09:57] Um, so I have a, um, a general one here.

[00:10:05] Um, that, uh, quotation marks are missing.

[00:10:11] And based on rule three of using quotation marks, which I found online include an opening quotation mark at the beginning of each new quoted paragraph.

[00:10:24] Yeah.

[00:10:25] Yeah.

[00:10:26] Yeah.

[00:10:26] Yeah.

[00:10:26] I w I was going to let this go, but I even noticed that because I've seen it done in, in multiple novels where like when it's a prolonged monologue or something like that, and it's going by like paragraphs.

[00:10:38] They will have like, yeah, the, the, uh, a quote at the beginning of the, of the paragraph and then continue on until the next one.

[00:10:44] So yeah, you're right.

[00:10:47] Mm hmm.

[00:10:48] Yeah.

[00:10:48] Oh yeah.

[00:10:48] Cause it's just started and then keeps going, but it, it does the one paragraph, but it doesn't close it.

[00:10:54] And it continues because it is all through dialogue.

[00:10:59] Yeah.

[00:10:59] And it's always the same, it's all the same guy talking.

[00:11:02] Yeah.

[00:11:03] Does this ever actually close?

[00:11:05] It must hang on.

[00:11:08] It does at the very end.

[00:11:09] Yeah.

[00:11:10] Yeah.

[00:11:14] Yeah.

[00:11:14] I actually, I first discovered that kind of like, like that usage of that way of doing things actually in a Frank Belknap long story.

[00:11:21] Uh, he was one of like Lovecraft's contemporaries.

[00:11:24] Uh, and like most of his stories were done, like just in, in, like a guy talk, like a guy just talking to something to the reader.

[00:11:32] And it was always just like a start quotation.

[00:11:34] And then just next paragraph, start quotation.

[00:11:36] It just kept going for an entire like novella.

[00:11:39] It's a good way to do it because it reminds you that it's not a narrator talking.

[00:11:44] Mm hmm.

[00:11:45] Well, it is, but it's not like an omniscient narrator or it's not like, yeah, it's still dialogue.

[00:11:52] Yeah.

[00:11:52] So I'm trying to get it.

[00:11:53] Yeah.

[00:11:53] Yeah.

[00:11:55] Yeah.

[00:11:55] Uh, and then I have a conjunction junction.

[00:11:58] Okay.

[00:11:59] And next stop, conjunction junction.

[00:12:02] Doot doot.

[00:12:02] And Malcolm's was by far the most memorable.

[00:12:06] So here I was locked in.

[00:12:10] And the, uh,

[00:12:13] Yeah.

[00:12:17] And he said,

[00:12:17] So, he's sobered up, worked steadily, and saved up until he could afford a small fishing boat that doubled as his home.

[00:12:25] But now, at our third and final meeting, we wanted to know just one thing.

[00:12:34] It was a chilly Saturday night.

[00:12:38] It's being alive.

[00:12:41] It was on the way anyway.

[00:12:44] So I changed my hand wave to an extended middle finger and sped off laughing.

[00:12:51] It was around 4.30am now, and she hadn't moved at all.

[00:13:00] It was messy, but no different to what you'd expect after cooking.

[00:13:05] But it had seemed empty like all the others at first.

[00:13:12] But I noticed some small shoes under some drapes, like some kid was hiding behind him.

[00:13:22] So I got in real close, then ripped the drapes away.

[00:13:28] And his severed feet still in them.

[00:13:33] But it was blood, not seawater.

[00:13:37] But then he looked at us, smiled, and the age washed away, along with the weight on his shoulders.

[00:13:47] But why?

[00:13:49] And outside, well, that thing is still out there.

[00:13:57] And still hungry.

[00:14:00] Finn.

[00:14:30] Wow.

[00:14:31] But it was a mess.

[00:14:33] But not unlike something you'd see while cooking.

[00:14:36] I was like, oh.

[00:14:38] I saw the start of that is like WTS and Steve are still going to interview someone.

[00:14:44] Someone is a woman, I guess.

[00:14:46] And then they go to interview, and they ask three statements, technically.

[00:14:52] And then WTS flips her off and runs away.

[00:14:55] But he comes back later, and the place is a mess.

[00:14:59] And that's what you would expect after some cooking.

[00:15:02] A.K.A.

[00:15:03] He pissed off the crazy lady that they were interviewing, and she killed Steve and ate him.

[00:15:09] Oh, God.

[00:15:10] That's the way I saw it.

[00:15:11] Damn.

[00:15:12] Yeah, because it never mentions they're in a prison or anything like that.

[00:15:17] No.

[00:15:18] And then the feet, what really went off the rails was just like the feet in the chute, or like the feet in them.

[00:15:25] And then like the blood instead of seawater.

[00:15:30] It's very disturbing.

[00:15:32] Yes.

[00:15:33] Mikey's little stories can get crazy when he grabs a bunch of sentences throughout the story.

[00:15:37] The story is words that they probably shouldn't, like its ends or buts.

[00:15:40] There's always better words.

[00:15:42] Yeah.

[00:15:44] All right.

[00:15:45] So, Gamer.

[00:15:46] What do we have for Grammar in Yellow?

[00:15:48] Hello.

[00:15:53] Was that one or two?

[00:15:54] That's one.

[00:15:55] Okay.

[00:15:56] Yeah, I got one.

[00:15:58] And I don't – I'm assuming I'm right here, but correct me if I'm wrong, which you will do anyways.

[00:16:04] I yelled out again to see if anyone was all right.

[00:16:08] Still no sound.

[00:16:09] Insider was another table set up with dinner.

[00:16:14] So, I know that Malcolm speaks with a certain accent in his voice.

[00:16:17] But insider isn't the right way I would spell that in my opinion.

[00:16:23] Because he's referring to the boat.

[00:16:25] I-N-S-I-D-E-R is how it's spelled.

[00:16:29] But, like, the way it's written, it makes it sound like the table's name is Insider.

[00:16:35] Because, like, previously to this, he just mentioned the name of the boat.

[00:16:38] And then he gets on the boat and he's like, Insider was another table set up with dinner.

[00:16:41] Like, Insider is a table.

[00:16:44] Is the name of a table.

[00:16:45] So, like, I would change it to either inside, then space, her would work.

[00:16:51] Or inside, space, apostrophe, E-R to get, like, the drawl with it.

[00:16:57] Yeah.

[00:16:57] Or even just, like, no space, just, like, inside, apostrophe, E-R.

[00:17:02] Yeah.

[00:17:02] Just, like, if you're going for that, like, it's, like, Insider.

[00:17:05] It's, like...

[00:17:05] Yeah, exactly.

[00:17:07] But not Insider.

[00:17:08] Like...

[00:17:08] Yeah, Insider.

[00:17:10] Like, the actual use of just, like, the word Insider doesn't work, I don't think.

[00:17:14] No.

[00:17:14] I wonder if this is basically autocorrect.

[00:17:18] Like, WTS typed out inside apostrophe, E-R, and then autocorrect's like, that's not a word.

[00:17:23] You obviously want this.

[00:17:25] Yeah, that's true.

[00:17:28] Especially given, like, all the other, like, accents that are used in the story.

[00:17:31] Yeah, yeah.

[00:17:32] Yeah.

[00:17:34] Yeah, that's all I got left for grammar.

[00:17:37] Okay.

[00:17:39] Well, let's move on to actual thoughts.

[00:17:42] So, I'm going to start with this one here.

[00:17:45] Uh, we've done our research, yes.

[00:17:47] We've gone through the court transcripts, but you never gave a motive.

[00:17:52] You never explained why you did it.

[00:17:54] And so this is, like, talking, like, at this point, we know that, like, he's in prison for killing six people and stuff like that.

[00:18:00] And he pleaded and, like, and whatnot.

[00:18:02] And this is the point where I was like, it's going to be revealed at the end that the victims were monsters, isn't it?

[00:18:07] And then my update...

[00:18:08] I figured.

[00:18:09] It was like, not quite, but it was kind of a close reason.

[00:18:13] It's really not at all.

[00:18:15] No, not really.

[00:18:15] A monster was involved.

[00:18:17] Well, yeah.

[00:18:19] Welcome to any story in this entire line of stories.

[00:18:22] Yeah.

[00:18:23] I mean, I was wrong, but, like, there was a monster involved.

[00:18:26] But again, like, that's to be expected.

[00:18:29] So my next one here is, finally, he whispered, okay, I'll tell you.

[00:18:35] I wanted to tell someone, but couldn't.

[00:18:37] If you tell anyone else, though, I'll deny it.

[00:18:40] And then, and tell them you're crazy, okay?

[00:18:43] Okay, so when I first, before I started, let's say, tell anyone else about this.

[00:18:47] I honestly thought he was going to go with something like, like, trying to, like, I'll kill, like, I'll fucking kill you.

[00:18:52] I'll hunt you down and shit with that.

[00:18:54] Yeah.

[00:18:54] If you tell anybody, like, like, he's promising, he's getting them to promise them not to tell anybody.

[00:18:59] To which I chuckle as I'm reading the story.

[00:19:03] Yeah, me too.

[00:19:04] Like, especially since right after he said that, he, uh, fricking, I forget which one, immediately pulled out a notepad and started writing shit down.

[00:19:13] Like, I'm surprised Malcolm didn't go, uh, you're not supposed to tell anyone.

[00:19:18] Why are you writing this down?

[00:19:19] Or just, like, or just, like, Malcolm's, like, really?

[00:19:22] Fuck it.

[00:19:23] Whatever.

[00:19:23] Yeah.

[00:19:24] We gone like that.

[00:19:24] Like, it almost, like, feels like there should have been, like, that little bit of, like, a response to that.

[00:19:28] But.

[00:19:29] Yeah, because, like, seeing them write this down.

[00:19:32] Yeah.

[00:19:32] Like, they are absolutely going to tell people about this.

[00:19:36] Like, why would they write it down otherwise?

[00:19:39] Like, it's one thing to do that.

[00:19:41] But, like, I can see, like, it's like, as I went, I was like, uh, we agreed.

[00:19:44] As I flipped, uh, as I turned on the recorder on my phone in my pocket under the table.

[00:19:48] Yeah, if they're sneakily doing it, that's one way.

[00:19:50] But, yeah.

[00:19:51] Yeah, but he, like, literally says he, like, pulls out a notepad and starts furiously writing notes.

[00:19:57] Yeah.

[00:19:59] Also, I feel like this is where the first line break should be, honestly.

[00:20:02] Because this is when the actual story starts.

[00:20:04] Yeah, that's self-control.

[00:20:06] Yeah, there's a, again, there's a couple of spots where, like, I feel like a line break could go.

[00:20:11] Mm-hmm.

[00:20:12] But.

[00:20:13] Because there's, like, the intro part where it's talking about the situation.

[00:20:16] Mm-hmm.

[00:20:17] And then the start of the day when they get the story.

[00:20:19] And then there's the start of the actual story.

[00:20:22] And then the end of the story where there'd be a line break and then the outro.

[00:20:25] Yeah.

[00:20:28] But.

[00:20:29] But I'll move on to the next thing I have here.

[00:20:33] Um.

[00:20:35] Around 930, me radar picked up another boat.

[00:20:38] Uh.

[00:20:39] Picked up another boat about five miles ahead.

[00:20:42] I'd never saw anyone out there.

[00:20:45] Eat so many chicken wings?

[00:20:46] Oh, sorry.

[00:20:47] I'd never saw.

[00:20:48] I never saw a man eat so many chicken wings.

[00:20:52] Uh.

[00:20:53] Yeah.

[00:20:54] Uh.

[00:20:54] I'd never saw anyone out there in deep waters that time of night before.

[00:20:59] So I went to check it out.

[00:21:01] It was on the way anyway.

[00:21:04] I actually.

[00:21:05] So I captured this because, and like I said before, I actually really don't mind the flaws in the writing here.

[00:21:11] Because.

[00:21:12] Say it with me, guys.

[00:21:13] The way the character.

[00:21:16] Talks.

[00:21:19] Love it.

[00:21:20] All right.

[00:21:21] I'll move on to the next one I have.

[00:21:24] So I got in real close.

[00:21:26] Then ripped the drapes away.

[00:21:27] There was no kid there.

[00:21:29] Just his shoes.

[00:21:30] And his severed feet still in them.

[00:21:32] Like something had ripped him from his body.

[00:21:35] I fell back and gagged.

[00:21:37] I ran into the ensuite to throw up.

[00:21:40] Then I then saw.

[00:21:42] I ran into the ensuite to throw up.

[00:21:45] Then saw the mirror was covered in blood.

[00:21:48] Okay.

[00:21:48] So just a quick grammar inquisition.

[00:21:49] There should be a comma.

[00:21:53] Between throw up and then saw.

[00:21:56] I ran into the ensuite to throw up, comma.

[00:21:59] Then saw the mirror was covered in blood.

[00:22:02] I stepped back and slipped on the wet floor.

[00:22:06] But it was blood.

[00:22:07] Not seawater.

[00:22:08] I had the blood all over me.

[00:22:10] I saw four more shoes lined up in the bath.

[00:22:13] With severed feet still in them.

[00:22:15] Like the first.

[00:22:17] So I was like.

[00:22:19] When I first read this.

[00:22:20] And like this revelation of like what happened to the family.

[00:22:22] Because I didn't know what had happened to the family.

[00:22:24] Like at this point.

[00:22:25] Like no.

[00:22:25] Like much like Malcolm here.

[00:22:28] Like.

[00:22:29] And then we get the revelation that like.

[00:22:31] They're.

[00:22:32] They've been like.

[00:22:34] Defeated.

[00:22:36] Eh?

[00:22:39] Defeated?

[00:22:41] Featenated.

[00:22:41] Anyway.

[00:22:43] Yeah.

[00:22:44] Defeated.

[00:22:45] This actually brought to mind.

[00:22:47] Like.

[00:22:47] Huh.

[00:22:47] I wonder if this story.

[00:22:50] First off.

[00:22:50] I wonder if this story takes place in the north.

[00:22:52] In the north.

[00:22:53] In the Pacific Northwest.

[00:22:54] Northwest.

[00:22:55] Like up near Washington or Vancouver.

[00:22:57] Um.

[00:22:58] Because.

[00:22:59] Well first off.

[00:23:00] He's.

[00:23:00] He's going out fishing in the winter.

[00:23:03] Um.

[00:23:03] And like.

[00:23:04] He's.

[00:23:04] Like.

[00:23:05] So like.

[00:23:05] And he's expecting to be like a nice cozy thing.

[00:23:07] So like.

[00:23:07] I know like the Pacific Northwest.

[00:23:08] Like.

[00:23:09] It can get cold.

[00:23:10] But like.

[00:23:10] It can also be like.

[00:23:12] Not like.

[00:23:13] Blistery.

[00:23:14] And frozen.

[00:23:15] Kind of cold.

[00:23:15] He's not driving an icebreaker.

[00:23:16] Like.

[00:23:17] Exactly.

[00:23:17] Through ice.

[00:23:18] Well like.

[00:23:18] Even in like.

[00:23:19] In like.

[00:23:19] The northwest.

[00:23:20] Or the northeast coast.

[00:23:22] Um.

[00:23:22] Like sometimes.

[00:23:23] Like.

[00:23:23] I like.

[00:23:23] I don't know.

[00:23:24] I actually don't know.

[00:23:26] How fishing.

[00:23:27] Like.

[00:23:27] How leisurely fishing goes.

[00:23:28] In like the winter months.

[00:23:29] Uh.

[00:23:30] On that side of the coast.

[00:23:30] But I know in the.

[00:23:31] In the.

[00:23:31] On the east coast.

[00:23:32] Or uh.

[00:23:32] On the west coast.

[00:23:33] It tends to be a little bit more.

[00:23:35] Uh.

[00:23:35] Mild and climatable.

[00:23:37] And such.

[00:23:38] But.

[00:23:38] The actual reason for like.

[00:23:40] Why I was speculating.

[00:23:40] Why it was in the Pacific Northwest.

[00:23:42] Was because.

[00:23:43] Um.

[00:23:44] Real talk.

[00:23:45] And real life.

[00:23:45] Like true crime shit.

[00:23:46] There is a.

[00:23:48] Incredibly high.

[00:23:49] Rate of shoes.

[00:23:51] With human feet.

[00:23:52] Still in them.

[00:23:53] That wash up on shore.

[00:23:55] Every year.

[00:23:55] Out in those.

[00:23:56] Uh.

[00:23:56] Out on.

[00:23:56] In those parts of the.

[00:23:57] Of the.

[00:23:58] Of the Pacific Northwest.

[00:24:01] Like.

[00:24:01] It's a big problem.

[00:24:02] Down in Vancouver.

[00:24:03] Apparently.

[00:24:04] Where like.

[00:24:04] People's shoes.

[00:24:05] With their feet still in them.

[00:24:06] Keep washing up on shore.

[00:24:07] And there's like.

[00:24:08] It's like.

[00:24:08] They're not sure.

[00:24:09] If it's a serial killer.

[00:24:10] If it's like.

[00:24:10] Human trafficking thing.

[00:24:12] If it's just like.

[00:24:14] Um.

[00:24:14] The.

[00:24:14] The feet were protected by the shoes.

[00:24:16] And the.

[00:24:16] So the fish couldn't eat the body.

[00:24:18] Or couldn't eat that part of the body.

[00:24:19] That's what I assume.

[00:24:20] Yeah.

[00:24:20] It's.

[00:24:21] It's.

[00:24:21] It's.

[00:24:22] There's a whole bunch of theories.

[00:24:23] As to like.

[00:24:23] What's going on.

[00:24:24] With the shoes that are washing up on shore.

[00:24:25] With human feet still in them.

[00:24:27] But yeah.

[00:24:28] It's still happening to this day.

[00:24:30] In.

[00:24:31] In high rates.

[00:24:32] So.

[00:24:34] Um.

[00:24:34] So I had.

[00:24:35] I wondered.

[00:24:36] If the story.

[00:24:37] Perhaps like.

[00:24:37] Drew some inspiration from that.

[00:24:39] Uh.

[00:24:39] From the author.

[00:24:40] But.

[00:24:41] Um.

[00:24:42] We have no way to tell.

[00:24:43] Unless.

[00:24:43] WTS decides to contact us.

[00:24:45] But.

[00:24:46] Maybe they.

[00:24:46] Maybe they'll listen to this one.

[00:24:47] Sometime.

[00:24:48] Who knows.

[00:24:49] Maybe.

[00:24:49] Um.

[00:24:50] We are jumping on their series of stories.

[00:24:52] Right.

[00:24:53] When they're.

[00:24:54] Right.

[00:24:54] Striking right when the.

[00:24:55] Uh.

[00:24:55] Aaron's hot.

[00:24:56] Right.

[00:24:56] I.

[00:24:57] These are what.

[00:24:57] 11 years old.

[00:24:58] Yeah.

[00:24:59] I honestly don't.

[00:24:59] I don't know when these.

[00:25:00] Uh.

[00:25:01] Story coming out.

[00:25:02] Um.

[00:25:03] 12 years ago.

[00:25:04] This one was released.

[00:25:05] Yeah.

[00:25:06] Really striking when the.

[00:25:08] With the metal's hot.

[00:25:09] You know.

[00:25:09] Yeah.

[00:25:10] Like every other creepypasta.

[00:25:11] We've done pretty well.

[00:25:13] Mm-hmm.

[00:25:14] Um.

[00:25:16] Also.

[00:25:16] Um.

[00:25:17] With regards to the creature.

[00:25:19] So.

[00:25:19] My idea is like.

[00:25:21] So I guess this creature.

[00:25:22] Was either one of the family members.

[00:25:24] Since it seems to have bashed through the door.

[00:25:26] From within.

[00:25:27] Or.

[00:25:28] Perhaps it just got inside.

[00:25:29] From like the hole it made.

[00:25:31] In the.

[00:25:31] In the side of the boat.

[00:25:33] Um.

[00:25:33] I mean the story really doesn't give us a lot of details.

[00:25:36] Regarding the monster itself.

[00:25:37] It just kind of gives us.

[00:25:38] Like.

[00:25:39] The aftermath.

[00:25:41] Yeah.

[00:25:42] Honestly.

[00:25:42] I really like it for that.

[00:25:43] Because like.

[00:25:44] I like this kind of like.

[00:25:45] Mystery.

[00:25:46] Like this kind of mystery setup.

[00:25:47] Of.

[00:26:17] Coming of age.

[00:26:17] Ritual gone wrong.

[00:26:19] Mm-hmm.

[00:26:20] Or like.

[00:26:20] These are some cultists.

[00:26:21] That accidentally summon something.

[00:26:23] That.

[00:26:24] Like.

[00:26:24] That.

[00:26:24] Because it hit their boat.

[00:26:25] Or something hit their boat.

[00:26:26] And that's why it was listing.

[00:26:28] Also.

[00:26:29] We had to purposefully summon something too.

[00:26:31] If they're cultists.

[00:26:31] Well yeah.

[00:26:32] Purposefully.

[00:26:33] Or maybe.

[00:26:33] No offense.

[00:26:35] It happens.

[00:26:37] Um.

[00:26:38] They may have purposely summoned it.

[00:26:40] But then.

[00:26:41] They weren't prepared for like.

[00:26:43] What happens when we actually summon something.

[00:26:44] Which.

[00:26:45] Happens all too often.

[00:26:47] But uh.

[00:26:48] Actually.

[00:26:48] This.

[00:26:48] This whole thing of like.

[00:26:49] The boat.

[00:26:49] Like listing to the side.

[00:26:51] And like.

[00:26:51] Starting to sink.

[00:26:51] And some of that.

[00:26:52] Um.

[00:26:53] Did actually bring to mind.

[00:26:54] Another real world thing.

[00:26:55] That happened recently.

[00:26:56] In the.

[00:26:56] In the.

[00:26:57] In Lake Superior.

[00:26:58] Um.

[00:26:59] Where a freighter.

[00:27:00] Um.

[00:27:00] Hit something.

[00:27:02] Uh.

[00:27:03] Supposedly.

[00:27:03] Out in the middle of the lake.

[00:27:04] Where there was nothing they could have hit.

[00:27:05] And they were deep enough.

[00:27:06] That there was nothing.

[00:27:08] Nothing.

[00:27:09] Natural.

[00:27:09] They shouldn't have hit anything natural.

[00:27:11] But uh.

[00:27:12] Whatever they hit.

[00:27:13] Did enough damage.

[00:27:14] That they started taking on water.

[00:27:15] And started listing.

[00:27:16] Uh.

[00:27:17] And fortunately.

[00:27:17] The coast guard was able to arrive.

[00:27:19] As.

[00:27:20] And and the.

[00:27:20] And the freighter itself.

[00:27:22] Did have.

[00:27:24] Uh.

[00:27:24] Fail safes.

[00:27:25] Where they were able to like.

[00:27:26] Pump enough water out.

[00:27:27] So that it wasn't listing dangerously.

[00:27:29] Uh.

[00:27:30] And they were able to evacuate.

[00:27:31] And get the ship.

[00:27:32] I think back to shore.

[00:27:33] But it was like.

[00:27:33] What the fuck did they hit.

[00:27:35] In Lake Superior.

[00:27:36] Um.

[00:27:37] Um.

[00:27:37] But yeah.

[00:27:37] So I guess that's like.

[00:27:38] A connective tissue.

[00:27:39] It's one of two things.

[00:27:40] It's either.

[00:27:41] The superior.

[00:27:42] Um.

[00:27:43] Nesty basically.

[00:27:44] Yeah.

[00:27:44] It's either Soupy.

[00:27:45] The Lake Superior monster.

[00:27:46] Which is actually her name.

[00:27:48] Her name is Soupy.

[00:27:49] Soupy?

[00:27:50] Soupy.

[00:27:50] Yeah.

[00:27:51] Um.

[00:27:52] Okay.

[00:27:52] I was not aware of that.

[00:27:53] Also.

[00:27:53] Did you know that.

[00:27:54] The creepy like motto.

[00:27:55] That Lake Superior has.

[00:27:57] It keeps us dead.

[00:27:58] Or something like that.

[00:27:59] Yeah.

[00:27:59] Yeah.

[00:28:00] Because of the Fitzgerald.

[00:28:01] The uh.

[00:28:02] The boat.

[00:28:02] Like.

[00:28:03] Another.

[00:28:03] Another.

[00:28:04] Like a large.

[00:28:05] I think freighter.

[00:28:06] Or a large.

[00:28:06] Like carrying boat.

[00:28:07] That like sank.

[00:28:08] And basically most.

[00:28:09] And all of its crew.

[00:28:09] Basically went down with it.

[00:28:10] Because it was in the middle.

[00:28:12] Of the frigid.

[00:28:13] Uh.

[00:28:13] It was in.

[00:28:14] It was in the frigid lake.

[00:28:15] Uh.

[00:28:16] Lake water of Lake Superior.

[00:28:17] So.

[00:28:18] And uh.

[00:28:18] All the.

[00:28:19] Apparently down.

[00:28:19] If you go down to the wreck.

[00:28:20] The bodies are.

[00:28:22] Almost perfect.

[00:28:23] Like a lot of the bodies.

[00:28:24] That have sunk down to the middle.

[00:28:25] To the bottom of Lake Superior.

[00:28:26] Are actually pretty well preserved.

[00:28:28] Because.

[00:28:29] It's so cold.

[00:28:30] Down in those depths.

[00:28:31] That there's not enough.

[00:28:33] Like organisms down there.

[00:28:34] To feed on the bodies.

[00:28:36] That's.

[00:28:37] Kind of horrifying.

[00:28:38] That they're just.

[00:28:39] Permanently like that.

[00:28:41] Yeah.

[00:28:42] Uh.

[00:28:42] Again.

[00:28:43] Where it gets the moniker.

[00:28:44] Lake Superior.

[00:28:45] Keeps it's dead.

[00:28:46] Mm-hmm.

[00:28:46] For sure.

[00:28:47] But um.

[00:28:48] So yeah.

[00:28:48] When you said that.

[00:28:48] That ship didn't hit anything natural.

[00:28:50] I'd say it's pretty natural.

[00:28:52] If it hit.

[00:28:52] Uh.

[00:28:53] If it hit Soupy.

[00:28:53] Soupy's a natural creature.

[00:28:55] Right?

[00:28:55] I mean.

[00:28:56] It could be.

[00:28:56] Predator natural.

[00:28:57] Yeah.

[00:28:58] Um.

[00:28:59] But yeah.

[00:28:59] The other option is like.

[00:29:00] Well maybe like.

[00:29:01] They hit like a submarine.

[00:29:01] Or something like that.

[00:29:02] That wasn't supposed to be there.

[00:29:03] Yeah.

[00:29:04] Like something.

[00:29:04] Something conspiratorial.

[00:29:06] But.

[00:29:06] Uh.

[00:29:07] Or who knows.

[00:29:07] Maybe they just like.

[00:29:08] Maybe they did hit something.

[00:29:09] That was supposed.

[00:29:10] That was out there.

[00:29:11] Like a piece of junk or something.

[00:29:13] That did enough damage.

[00:29:14] I don't know.

[00:29:15] Um.

[00:29:15] But yeah.

[00:29:16] I guess that was a bit of connective tissues time.

[00:29:17] Because as I'm reading the story.

[00:29:18] I like.

[00:29:19] I recall these.

[00:29:20] Two or three things.

[00:29:21] That I'm.

[00:29:22] I'm aware of.

[00:29:24] As someone opens the front door.

[00:29:28] I'll be right back.

[00:29:30] That's the government coming in.

[00:29:32] Because he's asking each other.

[00:29:34] Tangent for this.

[00:29:35] It might be.

[00:29:35] Yeah.

[00:29:35] This was a long tangent.

[00:29:37] Technically.

[00:29:38] He tried to stop the tangent.

[00:29:39] And I kept it going.

[00:29:41] So if he's getting punished for that.

[00:29:43] That's.

[00:29:43] But uh.

[00:29:44] Yeah.

[00:29:44] So.

[00:29:45] Um.

[00:29:46] Yeah.

[00:29:46] Just some connective tissues time.

[00:29:48] Um.

[00:29:49] I suppose.

[00:29:49] For this.

[00:29:50] Uh.

[00:29:50] This story for me personally.

[00:29:52] Um.

[00:29:53] But uh.

[00:29:55] Yeah.

[00:29:55] I guess I'll.

[00:29:56] I'll move on to the next thing I have here.

[00:29:59] Um.

[00:30:01] So.

[00:30:02] This is in regards to the coast guard showing up.

[00:30:04] So.

[00:30:05] Um.

[00:30:06] The merry sea had sunk by the mid morning.

[00:30:08] Taking any other evidence with it.

[00:30:11] What choice did I have.

[00:30:12] But plead insanity.

[00:30:15] Wait.

[00:30:16] So what I said earlier.

[00:30:17] We're like the coast guard arrived to that one freighter in the.

[00:30:19] In Lake Superior.

[00:30:20] And like they had some.

[00:30:22] They were able to pump the water.

[00:30:23] Now.

[00:30:24] Mind you.

[00:30:24] A yacht and a freighter are very different.

[00:30:27] And so they probably don't.

[00:30:28] Not necessarily have.

[00:30:29] Very.

[00:30:29] Certain fail safes.

[00:30:30] Yeah.

[00:30:31] But like.

[00:30:32] The damn coast guard didn't manage to keep the yoda.

[00:30:36] Uh.

[00:30:36] The yoda.

[00:30:37] Flot.

[00:30:38] The yoda.

[00:30:39] A flute.

[00:30:43] The.

[00:30:43] The cops and authorities didn't grab evidence in time.

[00:30:46] Like.

[00:30:47] I.

[00:30:48] I guess.

[00:30:48] I guess it is possible that.

[00:30:50] It was just sinking too fast.

[00:30:52] Yeah.

[00:30:53] Um.

[00:30:54] And like for the safety of the authorities.

[00:30:55] And so.

[00:30:56] And like the people involved.

[00:30:57] Like in the.

[00:30:57] In the search.

[00:30:57] Like they were able.

[00:30:58] They.

[00:30:58] They just grabbed what they couldn't.

[00:31:00] And got off before.

[00:31:01] Things got too bad.

[00:31:02] They were probably delayed with Malcolm.

[00:31:03] Because they thought that he was a murderer.

[00:31:05] So they were being like super careful with them.

[00:31:07] And taking their time with them.

[00:31:08] So they don't get killed.

[00:31:09] Wasting precious time.

[00:31:10] As the whole place is going under.

[00:31:13] Yeah.

[00:31:14] So yeah.

[00:31:14] It might have just been too fast to salvage.

[00:31:16] Like.

[00:31:16] The boat and stuff like that.

[00:31:17] Or like for things to happen.

[00:31:19] It just seemed kind of odd.

[00:31:20] Like.

[00:31:20] And it had me.

[00:31:21] Like.

[00:31:21] Maybe just being a little conspiratorial.

[00:31:23] Again.

[00:31:23] It's like.

[00:31:24] Maybe the authorities were in on this.

[00:31:27] But.

[00:31:27] I think it was just.

[00:31:29] It may have also just been a matter of like.

[00:31:30] Things happen.

[00:31:31] Like just escalate.

[00:31:32] So too quickly for the.

[00:31:33] For the Coast Guard to like.

[00:31:34] Be able to take control of the situation.

[00:31:36] How'd they even show up in the first place?

[00:31:39] A.K.A.

[00:31:40] How'd they know that.

[00:31:41] They were in distress.

[00:31:43] Yeah.

[00:31:44] Unless somebody got.

[00:31:45] A word out before.

[00:31:47] Well.

[00:31:47] Malcolm showed up.

[00:31:49] It.

[00:31:49] It says that Malcolm.

[00:31:51] Oh yeah.

[00:31:52] He calls.

[00:31:52] Mayday or whatever.

[00:31:53] Not mayday.

[00:31:54] But yeah.

[00:31:54] Right.

[00:31:55] The boat equipment.

[00:31:57] I forget what he said.

[00:31:57] That's good too.

[00:31:58] Actually like.

[00:31:59] He called before he went on the boat.

[00:32:01] Right.

[00:32:01] Yeah.

[00:32:01] As he was like.

[00:32:02] Yeah.

[00:32:03] So.

[00:32:05] He couldn't have investigated that long.

[00:32:08] In the boat.

[00:32:09] Before the Coast Guard arrived.

[00:32:11] Like.

[00:32:11] He said his.

[00:32:12] His fishing trip was like.

[00:32:13] Was it like three hours away from shore?

[00:32:16] Man.

[00:32:17] Those.

[00:32:17] Those.

[00:32:17] The Coast Guard must have like.

[00:32:19] Been nearby.

[00:32:20] Or like.

[00:32:21] Maybe the.

[00:32:21] Maybe the yacht was like.

[00:32:22] Closer to shore.

[00:32:23] I guess.

[00:32:24] Yeah.

[00:32:25] There's some.

[00:32:26] There's some.

[00:32:26] A little leeway for like.

[00:32:28] Some plot holes to kind of start forming.

[00:32:29] Some cracks in the.

[00:32:30] In the.

[00:32:31] In the plot a bit.

[00:32:32] Because realistically.

[00:32:32] He was on that boat.

[00:32:34] For how long?

[00:32:34] 10 minutes.

[00:32:36] Yeah.

[00:32:37] Or again.

[00:32:38] Kind of going on my thing.

[00:32:39] Seems a little suspicious.

[00:32:40] Of the authorities here.

[00:32:43] No.

[00:32:43] They were just.

[00:32:44] They just happened to arrive.

[00:32:45] Like.

[00:32:46] So fast.

[00:32:49] But.

[00:32:50] Again.

[00:32:50] Maybe.

[00:32:50] Maybe this is like.

[00:32:51] Maybe they do have a really fast response time.

[00:32:53] For like.

[00:32:54] Things even like an hour or so.

[00:32:55] Out of the.

[00:32:55] Off of shore.

[00:32:57] I mean.

[00:32:58] They probably do.

[00:32:59] Just because of like.

[00:33:00] How dangerous it is.

[00:33:01] On the water.

[00:33:02] Like you.

[00:33:02] Yeah.

[00:33:03] And I.

[00:33:03] Go immediately.

[00:33:05] Yeah.

[00:33:05] And I actually.

[00:33:06] I have watched a couple of like.

[00:33:07] Search and.

[00:33:08] Oh not.

[00:33:08] Well yeah.

[00:33:09] Search and rescue.

[00:33:09] And like.

[00:33:10] Coast guard.

[00:33:11] Like shows.

[00:33:13] That have like.

[00:33:14] Shown like.

[00:33:14] How fast they.

[00:33:15] They try to get out there.

[00:33:16] So like.

[00:33:16] Those boats are.

[00:33:17] Those boats.

[00:33:18] And like.

[00:33:18] Even helicopters.

[00:33:19] Are made for like.

[00:33:20] Speedy.

[00:33:20] As recoveries.

[00:33:21] Yeah.

[00:33:21] So.

[00:33:22] And rescues.

[00:33:22] So.

[00:33:23] It might be possible.

[00:33:26] Um.

[00:33:27] But.

[00:33:27] I'll move on to.

[00:33:28] The next one I have here.

[00:33:32] Uh.

[00:33:32] In here.

[00:33:33] It's not so bad.

[00:33:34] I'm watched 24 hours a day.

[00:33:36] Someone's always checking on me.

[00:33:38] Watching.

[00:33:39] Carefully.

[00:33:40] Who comes in and out.

[00:33:41] Making sure I'm safe.

[00:33:43] One thing.

[00:33:45] Fishing.

[00:33:45] Has taught me.

[00:33:46] Is no matter.

[00:33:47] How good you think you are.

[00:33:48] There's a bigger fish out there.

[00:33:50] Ready.

[00:33:51] And waiting.

[00:33:52] To eat your lunch.

[00:33:53] Or eat you.

[00:33:54] For lunch.

[00:33:55] And outside.

[00:33:56] Well.

[00:33:57] That thing.

[00:33:59] Is still out there.

[00:34:00] And still hungry.

[00:34:01] He said the thing.

[00:34:02] He said bigger fish.

[00:34:05] He said the title drop.

[00:34:08] Um.

[00:34:09] But yeah.

[00:34:09] I honestly love the twist here.

[00:34:11] Where like.

[00:34:12] He's really.

[00:34:13] Just making sure.

[00:34:14] He's safe.

[00:34:15] After.

[00:34:16] What he saw.

[00:34:17] On the boat.

[00:34:18] And its implications.

[00:34:19] And like.

[00:34:20] Honestly.

[00:34:21] Given his like.

[00:34:22] Life story that we get.

[00:34:23] Like.

[00:34:24] Through the story.

[00:34:25] I can't say I blame Malcolm.

[00:34:27] No.

[00:34:27] Not at all.

[00:34:28] I'm just like.

[00:34:28] Like.

[00:34:29] Man.

[00:34:29] I've had a rough life.

[00:34:30] And like.

[00:34:30] I was considering suicide.

[00:34:31] Before like.

[00:34:32] Before.

[00:34:33] Fishing became like.

[00:34:34] Like my passion.

[00:34:35] And then I saw that.

[00:34:36] And I'm just like.

[00:34:37] Fuck it.

[00:34:37] Take me in.

[00:34:39] Like.

[00:34:40] I need a warm cot.

[00:34:41] And some food.

[00:34:42] Or a cot.

[00:34:43] And warm.

[00:34:44] And warm food.

[00:34:45] Warm meals.

[00:34:46] Please.

[00:34:49] Um.

[00:34:50] Yeah.

[00:34:50] No.

[00:34:50] I really can't blame Malcolm.

[00:34:52] For the.

[00:34:54] For wanting to stay in prison.

[00:34:56] It's actually.

[00:34:56] I think of.

[00:34:57] Like.

[00:34:57] It's not a trope.

[00:34:58] Necessarily.

[00:34:58] But I've definitely seen.

[00:34:59] Like.

[00:35:00] This before in stories.

[00:35:01] Where it's just like.

[00:35:02] It's like.

[00:35:03] Why do you think I'm in here?

[00:35:04] Like.

[00:35:04] Like.

[00:35:05] I'm in here.

[00:35:05] To keep myself safe.

[00:35:09] Um.

[00:35:10] It's like.

[00:35:10] I'm not.

[00:35:11] Like.

[00:35:12] Like.

[00:35:12] They're not trying to keep me safe.

[00:35:13] From.

[00:35:13] Uh.

[00:35:14] Or.

[00:35:14] Keep people.

[00:35:16] Safe from me.

[00:35:17] I'm trying to keep myself safe.

[00:35:18] From people up there.

[00:35:19] Yeah.

[00:35:20] Yeah.

[00:35:22] And then.

[00:35:23] Uh.

[00:35:23] The last thing we get in the story.

[00:35:24] Is this.

[00:35:25] Uh.

[00:35:26] That was the last we saw.

[00:35:28] Of Malcolm.

[00:35:29] Not because anything happened to him.

[00:35:31] Uh.

[00:35:31] But just.

[00:35:32] That was the last interview.

[00:35:34] Yeah.

[00:35:34] Basically.

[00:35:34] I'm sure he's fine.

[00:35:35] I'm sure everything's fine with him.

[00:35:36] I'm sure nothing bad has happened.

[00:35:38] I don't know.

[00:35:38] Like.

[00:35:39] The way.

[00:35:40] It said like.

[00:35:40] That was the last we saw of Malcolm.

[00:35:42] For some reason in my head.

[00:35:43] It kind of gave me like.

[00:35:44] A tinge of like.

[00:35:45] Forboding for Malcolm.

[00:35:47] It's like.

[00:35:47] That was the last we saw of Malcolm.

[00:35:49] It is weird that you would say that.

[00:35:51] Yeah.

[00:35:51] I know.

[00:35:51] It makes it seem like.

[00:35:53] He's dead or missing now.

[00:35:55] Exactly.

[00:35:55] Yeah.

[00:35:55] But like.

[00:35:56] No.

[00:35:56] Like.

[00:35:57] He's fine.

[00:35:58] He's.

[00:35:58] That's the last we saw of him.

[00:35:59] Because our interviews were over.

[00:36:01] Yeah.

[00:36:02] Like.

[00:36:03] He's still.

[00:36:03] He's probably still fine in the.

[00:36:05] In the prison.

[00:36:06] Right.

[00:36:07] Right.

[00:36:08] So.

[00:36:09] Yeah.

[00:36:11] But that is.

[00:36:13] The end of my actual thoughts.

[00:36:15] So.

[00:36:16] Mikey.

[00:36:16] These stands for evil.

[00:36:19] Yeah.

[00:36:20] So.

[00:36:21] I understand.

[00:36:23] Malcolm's logic.

[00:36:25] Staying in the insane asylum.

[00:36:27] Because it's keeping him safe.

[00:36:29] Yeah.

[00:36:29] It's actually not an insane asylum.

[00:36:30] It's just a prison.

[00:36:31] Well.

[00:36:32] He pleaded insanity.

[00:36:33] But like.

[00:36:33] He's still.

[00:36:34] He's just.

[00:36:34] A regular prisoner.

[00:36:36] Yeah.

[00:36:37] But.

[00:36:39] My problem.

[00:36:40] With that.

[00:36:40] Is that.

[00:36:41] The entity.

[00:36:42] Lives at.

[00:36:43] At sea.

[00:36:45] So.

[00:36:46] Wouldn't it just be as easy.

[00:36:48] To just stay on land.

[00:36:49] I think his whole.

[00:36:50] Like.

[00:36:51] Outlook on life now.

[00:36:52] Is.

[00:36:53] If that exists.

[00:36:54] In the water.

[00:36:55] There's going to be shit on land too.

[00:36:57] I'd rather just be protected.

[00:36:59] In here.

[00:37:00] 24-7.

[00:37:00] From any potential monsters.

[00:37:03] Yeah.

[00:37:03] I think.

[00:37:03] I think.

[00:37:04] He's just covering all his bases.

[00:37:08] Okay.

[00:37:10] Because he also.

[00:37:10] He never saw the thing.

[00:37:12] He just saw the aftermath.

[00:37:13] So he doesn't know.

[00:37:14] Like.

[00:37:14] Maybe this thing can go on land.

[00:37:16] Like.

[00:37:17] Attack this boat.

[00:37:18] But like.

[00:37:19] He has no.

[00:37:20] Context as to what it is.

[00:37:21] So he's just like.

[00:37:22] I'm just going to cover my bases.

[00:37:23] And I'm just going to.

[00:37:25] Go to prison.

[00:37:26] I'm just going to.

[00:37:27] I'm just going to like.

[00:37:27] Take me in please.

[00:37:29] Yeah.

[00:37:29] Like Godzilla.

[00:37:30] Fucks up shit in the water.

[00:37:31] And also on land.

[00:37:33] Yeah.

[00:37:34] Hell.

[00:37:34] He invades.

[00:37:35] Godzilla.

[00:37:35] Godzilla had a fight with Muto.

[00:37:37] In Las Vegas.

[00:37:38] In one movie.

[00:37:41] That's the desert.

[00:37:42] That's the farthest you could get.

[00:37:43] From the water.

[00:37:44] Yeah.

[00:37:51] All right.

[00:37:51] Um.

[00:37:52] So now.

[00:37:53] My next.

[00:37:54] Thing here is.

[00:37:56] I have a quote.

[00:37:57] That's technically.

[00:37:59] A grammar.

[00:38:00] Inquisition.

[00:38:02] But.

[00:38:03] It made me view the story.

[00:38:06] A different way.

[00:38:07] And I was expecting something.

[00:38:10] Completely different.

[00:38:10] Because of it.

[00:38:11] Okay.

[00:38:14] The quote is.

[00:38:16] What drove Malcolm.

[00:38:18] To brutally kill.

[00:38:20] Todd Weber.

[00:38:21] His wife Tracy.

[00:38:22] Their son.

[00:38:24] Jack.

[00:38:25] And.

[00:38:25] Ryan.

[00:38:27] Their uncle Bill.

[00:38:28] And another victim.

[00:38:29] That could not be identified.

[00:38:31] From the remains.

[00:38:32] I think I know where you're going with it.

[00:38:33] We had to know.

[00:38:34] What made Malcolm snap.

[00:38:38] So.

[00:38:39] When I read that.

[00:38:41] I thought it was.

[00:38:42] Malcolm.

[00:38:43] Killing.

[00:38:44] His wife Tracy.

[00:38:45] Malcolm's wife.

[00:38:46] Yeah.

[00:38:48] Yeah.

[00:38:49] So.

[00:38:50] To me.

[00:38:51] I was thinking that.

[00:38:52] This Todd.

[00:38:53] The Weber guy.

[00:38:55] Was likely.

[00:38:56] The person having an affair.

[00:38:57] With his wife.

[00:39:00] Yeah.

[00:39:01] So.

[00:39:02] We're.

[00:39:02] I'm.

[00:39:03] Like.

[00:39:03] I got the popcorn ready.

[00:39:05] Thinking.

[00:39:05] Oh man.

[00:39:06] It's going to be a lover's quarrel.

[00:39:07] It's going to be.

[00:39:08] What is it?

[00:39:08] It's actually like.

[00:39:09] A crime of passion.

[00:39:10] Yeah.

[00:39:10] That's what they call it.

[00:39:11] Yeah.

[00:39:13] I was like.

[00:39:13] Oh man.

[00:39:15] Drama bomb.

[00:39:19] And then.

[00:39:20] That didn't happen.

[00:39:22] Yeah.

[00:39:22] In hindsight.

[00:39:23] It probably could have gone with like.

[00:39:24] For like.

[00:39:24] A writing from a.

[00:39:25] From a grammar point of view.

[00:39:26] It could have like.

[00:39:26] Just said like.

[00:39:28] What was the guy.

[00:39:29] The wife.

[00:39:30] And the husband's name.

[00:39:32] It was.

[00:39:40] It was.

[00:39:40] Yeah.

[00:39:41] For Todd Weber.

[00:39:43] And his.

[00:39:43] His wife.

[00:39:44] Tracy Weber.

[00:39:46] Spell it out.

[00:39:46] Like.

[00:39:47] Yeah.

[00:39:48] Well that's why I said like.

[00:39:49] Yeah.

[00:39:49] Sometimes you don't want to say like.

[00:39:50] The last name again.

[00:39:51] So like.

[00:39:52] That's why you do like.

[00:39:52] Tom.

[00:39:53] Tom and Tracy Weber.

[00:39:55] Because that way it's like.

[00:39:56] You know that it's a couple.

[00:39:58] Yeah.

[00:39:58] The Webers.

[00:39:59] Yeah.

[00:39:59] No.

[00:40:00] Yeah.

[00:40:03] Yeah.

[00:40:03] Yeah.

[00:40:04] But.

[00:40:05] Yeah.

[00:40:05] So.

[00:40:06] That's early on.

[00:40:08] So when it got.

[00:40:09] Later on.

[00:40:10] I was like.

[00:40:10] Where's the.

[00:40:11] The.

[00:40:12] Whirl.

[00:40:17] Sports people on that boat.

[00:40:19] Maybe this is where that happens.

[00:40:20] Nope.

[00:40:21] He flips them off.

[00:40:24] And.

[00:40:24] Then he comes back around.

[00:40:30] And what.

[00:40:31] It was his wife all along.

[00:40:34] Yeah.

[00:40:38] That's why they.

[00:40:39] Were so.

[00:40:41] What was it.

[00:40:44] Rude.

[00:40:44] I guess.

[00:40:45] Was the word.

[00:40:46] That's why he gave them the finger.

[00:40:47] Also.

[00:40:49] Um.

[00:40:49] I remember.

[00:40:50] Actually.

[00:40:51] The reason they.

[00:40:51] It's just something that.

[00:40:52] Through.

[00:40:53] That just like.

[00:40:53] Brought to mind.

[00:40:55] They also found.

[00:40:56] Like.

[00:40:56] The reason why they.

[00:40:57] They called.

[00:40:58] They suspected him of being the murder.

[00:40:59] Is because they found.

[00:41:01] Two pairs of feet.

[00:41:02] In his boat.

[00:41:03] Two.

[00:41:03] One pair.

[00:41:04] Right.

[00:41:05] Yeah.

[00:41:05] Yeah.

[00:41:06] Sorry.

[00:41:06] One pair.

[00:41:07] I meant like.

[00:41:08] You know what I mean.

[00:41:09] Yeah.

[00:41:09] Yeah.

[00:41:09] One pair.

[00:41:10] Two feet.

[00:41:10] Two feet.

[00:41:11] In shoes.

[00:41:12] So it's like.

[00:41:13] Wait.

[00:41:13] The creature was there.

[00:41:15] Like.

[00:41:15] That.

[00:41:16] Ah.

[00:41:16] I actually just realized that.

[00:41:18] The creature was like.

[00:41:19] There the whole time.

[00:41:20] While he was investigating too.

[00:41:22] Or the authorities are in on it.

[00:41:24] Like.

[00:41:25] Again.

[00:41:25] Going to the conspiracy theory.

[00:41:26] I don't know.

[00:41:27] It doesn't make sense.

[00:41:28] Like.

[00:41:28] There was no one else in his boat.

[00:41:31] To be defeated.

[00:41:32] Yeah.

[00:41:33] No.

[00:41:33] I think.

[00:41:33] I think what happened is like.

[00:41:34] The creature like.

[00:41:36] Took.

[00:41:36] Took a set of feet from the.

[00:41:38] From the yacht.

[00:41:39] And dropped it.

[00:41:40] And planted it there.

[00:41:41] To like.

[00:41:41] To make him the culprit.

[00:41:45] Fucking stupid.

[00:41:45] I don't know.

[00:41:46] I don't know why.

[00:41:48] But that also.

[00:41:49] Like.

[00:41:49] On a plus side.

[00:41:50] It kind of sounds stupid.

[00:41:51] But at the same time.

[00:41:51] It also seems.

[00:41:52] It also gives the creature.

[00:41:53] A little bit more intelligence.

[00:41:55] In that like.

[00:41:55] He's.

[00:41:56] He's giving himself.

[00:41:57] An alibi.

[00:41:58] In a way.

[00:41:59] Or.

[00:41:59] Or.

[00:42:00] Putting the blame.

[00:42:00] On somebody else.

[00:42:03] Or maybe.

[00:42:04] It's just.

[00:42:04] A dumb creature.

[00:42:05] And it's like.

[00:42:06] Oh.

[00:42:06] I got these feet.

[00:42:07] I got to put them on the boat.

[00:42:08] Crap.

[00:42:09] There's two boats now.

[00:42:10] Which one do I put it on?

[00:42:12] They'll choose this one.

[00:42:13] Maybe.

[00:42:18] Again.

[00:42:18] For me.

[00:42:19] For me.

[00:42:19] There's like.

[00:42:27] And then.

[00:42:29] The other thing.

[00:42:31] Is that.

[00:42:32] Or.

[00:42:33] My last note here.

[00:42:34] Is that.

[00:42:35] The.

[00:42:35] The monster.

[00:42:37] Doesn't seem like.

[00:42:38] It's actually a fish.

[00:42:40] Oh.

[00:42:41] So.

[00:42:42] I was expecting.

[00:42:43] A big fish.

[00:42:45] But.

[00:42:47] A big fish.

[00:42:49] Like.

[00:42:49] The hilariousness.

[00:42:50] Of seeing.

[00:42:51] Like.

[00:42:51] Jaws.

[00:42:52] Jumping onto a yacht.

[00:42:54] Just eating.

[00:42:56] People.

[00:42:56] Down to their feet.

[00:42:57] And then moving on.

[00:42:59] I kind of got the impression.

[00:43:00] For some reason.

[00:43:00] In my head.

[00:43:02] I got the impression.

[00:43:03] That this thing.

[00:43:03] May not be aquatic.

[00:43:04] But like.

[00:43:04] Aerial.

[00:43:05] Like.

[00:43:06] It was able to fly.

[00:43:07] Or something like that.

[00:43:08] But.

[00:43:08] I don't.

[00:43:09] I.

[00:43:09] That was just like.

[00:43:10] Something that kept popping up.

[00:43:11] In my head.

[00:43:11] And I had to keep.

[00:43:12] Like stamping it down.

[00:43:13] I was like.

[00:43:13] No.

[00:43:13] Like.

[00:43:14] There's no evidence to that.

[00:43:15] But for some reason.

[00:43:16] It keeps.

[00:43:16] It kept popping up in my head.

[00:43:21] Yeah.

[00:43:21] I get.

[00:43:21] We had no.

[00:43:22] With this creature.

[00:43:23] Aside from like.

[00:43:23] The damage it did to this yacht.

[00:43:25] And these people.

[00:43:27] Yeah.

[00:43:28] The.

[00:43:28] The problem.

[00:43:30] Is that you probably.

[00:43:31] Had that go into your head.

[00:43:33] Because.

[00:43:35] The.

[00:43:36] Evidence.

[00:43:37] Does not.

[00:43:38] Point to it being a fish.

[00:43:39] Yeah.

[00:43:41] Except.

[00:43:41] Because like.

[00:43:42] There's a gash.

[00:43:43] There's a gash near the waterline.

[00:43:44] That's like causing it to list.

[00:43:46] So like.

[00:43:46] I was like.

[00:43:47] Well maybe that's how the creature got inside.

[00:43:49] Or it's one of the people.

[00:43:50] That were inside the boat already.

[00:43:51] Because the door.

[00:43:53] To the.

[00:43:54] The outside of the boat.

[00:43:55] Was bashed in from within.

[00:43:57] As if something.

[00:43:58] It describes as.

[00:43:59] Something large.

[00:44:00] Bashed open the boat from.

[00:44:01] Open the door from within.

[00:44:03] So.

[00:44:03] That also could have been.

[00:44:05] Monster broken.

[00:44:06] To the.

[00:44:06] Inside of the boat.

[00:44:08] Yeah.

[00:44:09] Because it.

[00:44:10] And somebody tried to.

[00:44:10] It bust the hole.

[00:44:12] Because it went in through the hole.

[00:44:13] And then yes.

[00:44:14] People that were inside the boat.

[00:44:16] Didn't want to.

[00:44:17] Fuck around.

[00:44:18] Trying to unlock the door.

[00:44:19] And they just shoulder check the door.

[00:44:20] To get out of it.

[00:44:21] Yeah.

[00:44:23] It's very peculiar.

[00:44:25] Also.

[00:44:27] There's something.

[00:44:28] There's definitely like.

[00:44:29] Something alluding here.

[00:44:29] That like.

[00:44:30] It is intelligent.

[00:44:30] Because like.

[00:44:31] The kid's shoes.

[00:44:32] And his feet.

[00:44:33] Were behind the drapes.

[00:44:35] That were.

[00:44:36] That were.

[00:44:37] Unnoticeably.

[00:44:37] Like.

[00:44:38] Like.

[00:44:38] Not noticed by.

[00:44:39] By.

[00:44:40] Malcolm.

[00:44:41] To be like.

[00:44:42] Damaged.

[00:44:43] Or like.

[00:44:43] Really.

[00:44:43] Or like.

[00:44:44] Noticeably.

[00:44:44] The damage.

[00:44:45] Or distressed.

[00:44:46] Yeah.

[00:44:46] If the kid was hiding behind that.

[00:44:48] And then the monster killed him.

[00:44:49] It would have bit the drapes.

[00:44:51] Exactly.

[00:44:52] So it's like.

[00:44:52] Did the creature just like.

[00:44:53] Again.

[00:44:53] Is this creature like.

[00:44:54] Intelligent up to like.

[00:44:55] I'm just gonna put this here.

[00:44:57] And put these.

[00:44:58] Put these shoes in.

[00:44:59] In the.

[00:44:59] In the bathtub.

[00:45:00] That's a prankster.

[00:45:01] I know.

[00:45:02] He's like a.

[00:45:02] Like yeah.

[00:45:03] He's like a serial.

[00:45:03] Like.

[00:45:04] That's why I think it's like.

[00:45:04] It's like almost like a serial killer.

[00:45:06] Mixed with like an actual monster.

[00:45:08] Yeah.

[00:45:09] Again.

[00:45:09] This is.

[00:45:10] But like.

[00:45:10] At the same time.

[00:45:11] I really love that idea.

[00:45:12] Because it's like.

[00:45:12] I just love the like.

[00:45:13] What the fuck.

[00:45:15] Happened here.

[00:45:16] Like.

[00:45:16] I love that feeling.

[00:45:17] When I read this story.

[00:45:19] I watched the dark knight recently.

[00:45:21] Like with.

[00:45:22] The joker.

[00:45:22] And like.

[00:45:23] This is something.

[00:45:23] The joker would do.

[00:45:25] Like.

[00:45:25] Honestly.

[00:45:27] Yeah.

[00:45:27] No one.

[00:45:28] Yeah.

[00:45:28] It's definitely something.

[00:45:29] The joker would do.

[00:45:30] Honestly.

[00:45:30] This is also something.

[00:45:31] That I like.

[00:45:32] Maybe this is what.

[00:45:32] Like.

[00:45:33] Again.

[00:45:33] Connected to tissue time.

[00:45:34] I recently.

[00:45:35] What I've been playing.

[00:45:36] I've been getting into.

[00:45:36] Like fallout again.

[00:45:38] And this is legitimately.

[00:45:39] Something that would have popped up.

[00:45:40] And fallout.

[00:45:41] Like one of those.

[00:45:41] Like environmental storytelling.

[00:45:43] Things where you're just like.

[00:45:44] Walking.

[00:45:44] Like you go to like a boat.

[00:45:46] In the harbor.

[00:45:46] And you just find all this stuff.

[00:45:47] And you're just like.

[00:45:48] What the fuck happened here?

[00:45:51] Yeah.

[00:45:51] Sorry.

[00:45:52] I digress.

[00:45:53] Mikey.

[00:45:53] This is your site.

[00:45:54] Yeah.

[00:45:54] So.

[00:45:55] Like.

[00:45:57] The.

[00:46:02] The monster doesn't.

[00:46:04] Seem like it's a fish.

[00:46:06] So.

[00:46:07] The.

[00:46:07] The bigger fish monologue.

[00:46:09] I mean.

[00:46:10] Okay.

[00:46:10] To me.

[00:46:10] Doesn't fit.

[00:46:12] Other than.

[00:46:12] There's always a bigger fish.

[00:46:14] Yeah.

[00:46:14] It's metaphorical.

[00:46:16] Yeah.

[00:46:16] It's metaphorical.

[00:46:17] Exactly.

[00:46:17] It's metaphorical.

[00:46:18] It's to strike fear into the hearts that knows it.

[00:46:22] Eh?

[00:46:25] It's definitely more of a metaphor in this.

[00:46:27] Although there is some symbolism because he's going out fishing and stuff like that.

[00:46:30] So like that's why he's using that metaphor is because he's a fisherman.

[00:46:33] So.

[00:46:35] But yeah.

[00:46:36] Yeah.

[00:46:38] What's more dangerous than me?

[00:46:41] Says the creature.

[00:46:46] Yeah.

[00:46:46] Yeah.

[00:46:48] So.

[00:46:48] Yeah.

[00:46:49] That's the end of my actual thoughts.

[00:46:50] Okay.

[00:46:50] Um.

[00:46:51] Before gamer content goes on.

[00:46:53] Um.

[00:46:54] Um.

[00:46:54] I actually do want to bring up something that piped in.

[00:46:56] Or that popped up as we were talking about this in my head.

[00:46:59] What if.

[00:47:00] Hear me out guys.

[00:47:03] This.

[00:47:04] I was actually kind of similar.

[00:47:06] Uh.

[00:47:06] Kind of close to when I was speculating.

[00:47:07] This was a deep one ritual of like.

[00:47:10] Of adulthood gone wrong.

[00:47:11] So we only see that the.

[00:47:13] That the.

[00:47:13] The people's.

[00:47:14] Like feet in their shoes are missing.

[00:47:16] Right.

[00:47:16] And there's a lot of blood everywhere.

[00:47:20] What if.

[00:47:22] This was in fact.

[00:47:24] A.

[00:47:24] A deep one.

[00:47:25] Or merfolk.

[00:47:27] Uh.

[00:47:27] Rite of passage.

[00:47:28] Or like rite of maturity.

[00:47:30] And like.

[00:47:31] Merfolk can.

[00:47:32] There is some lore where merfolk can.

[00:47:34] Take on human legs.

[00:47:36] And then they like.

[00:47:37] Change back.

[00:47:38] Like they.

[00:47:39] They.

[00:47:39] In.

[00:47:40] Sometimes in bloody fashion.

[00:47:41] Or gory fashion.

[00:47:41] They change back to like fish legs.

[00:47:43] Or to a fish tail.

[00:47:45] Before jumping back into the water.

[00:47:47] What if like the family.

[00:47:48] Like this rich family.

[00:47:49] Were merfolk of some kind.

[00:47:51] And they were celebrating.

[00:47:53] Their.

[00:47:53] Like their kids.

[00:47:54] Rite of passage.

[00:47:55] Rite of maturity.

[00:47:56] Kind of thing.

[00:47:57] And.

[00:47:57] The.

[00:47:58] The feet that are placed.

[00:47:59] All around.

[00:48:00] Are actually just like.

[00:48:02] What happened.

[00:48:03] The.

[00:48:03] The.

[00:48:04] The.

[00:48:04] The.

[00:48:04] The.

[00:48:05] Bit of biomass.

[00:48:05] That is like.

[00:48:06] Discarded.

[00:48:07] When they turn back into merfolk.

[00:48:09] So.

[00:48:09] They're not.

[00:48:10] And they're not actually dead.

[00:48:11] They actually transformed.

[00:48:13] And left their yacht.

[00:48:14] Because it was time to.

[00:48:15] Return back to the sea.

[00:48:16] And the coast guard.

[00:48:19] Are the SNTF.

[00:48:20] Who showed up.

[00:48:22] To cover.

[00:48:22] To.

[00:48:23] As a veil out.

[00:48:24] It's like.

[00:48:24] Well we gotta.

[00:48:24] We gotta like.

[00:48:25] Make this seem like.

[00:48:26] This is kind of suspicious.

[00:48:27] We need to peg this on somebody.

[00:48:28] Oh that fisher guy.

[00:48:29] That.

[00:48:29] That.

[00:48:30] That stumbled upon this.

[00:48:31] All right.

[00:48:31] Jimmy.

[00:48:32] Grab.

[00:48:32] Grab some.

[00:48:33] Some feet.

[00:48:33] And just put it into his boat.

[00:48:35] We'll just frame this on him.

[00:48:37] Wow.

[00:48:37] For the greater good.

[00:48:38] The greater good.

[00:48:39] Mm-hmm.

[00:48:40] For the greater good.

[00:48:41] Of supernatural kind.

[00:48:42] So like.

[00:48:43] In that idea.

[00:48:45] The.

[00:48:45] The child.

[00:48:46] Um.

[00:48:47] More folk.

[00:48:48] Is like.

[00:48:49] He's like.

[00:48:49] Okay.

[00:48:49] It's my time to turn.

[00:48:50] And then he goes behind the curtain.

[00:48:52] He's like.

[00:48:53] And then he like.

[00:48:54] Walks in from the curtain.

[00:48:55] But his feet stayed there.

[00:48:56] And then the curtain.

[00:48:56] Just blew back.

[00:48:57] In position.

[00:48:59] Yeah.

[00:48:59] And so like.

[00:49:00] Them bashing through the door.

[00:49:01] Is actually.

[00:49:01] The whole.

[00:49:02] The whole family of them.

[00:49:03] Just kind of like.

[00:49:04] Crawling on their.

[00:49:05] On their.

[00:49:05] With their arms.

[00:49:06] Because their legs are all like.

[00:49:07] Fishtails now.

[00:49:08] Just toward the door.

[00:49:09] And just like.

[00:49:10] Just like.

[00:49:10] Bat.

[00:49:10] Because they forgot to like.

[00:49:11] Keep the door.

[00:49:12] Like unlocked.

[00:49:13] Locked.

[00:49:14] So they had to like.

[00:49:15] Bash it open.

[00:49:16] And then.

[00:49:17] And so they could jump back.

[00:49:18] Into the sea.

[00:49:19] Okay.

[00:49:19] But what about the damage to the boat?

[00:49:22] Um.

[00:49:23] Perhaps they were planning on like.

[00:49:24] Sinking the boat.

[00:49:25] So that nobody would find it.

[00:49:27] So.

[00:49:28] That was actually an aftermath thing.

[00:49:30] After they.

[00:49:31] After they went into the water.

[00:49:31] It was like.

[00:49:32] Oh shit.

[00:49:32] We should probably get rid of the yacht.

[00:49:34] Hang on.

[00:49:34] We'll just.

[00:49:34] We'll just like.

[00:49:35] Rip this open.

[00:49:37] Yeah.

[00:49:38] They're basically burying their old life.

[00:49:40] Yeah.

[00:49:41] Yeah.

[00:49:41] Basically.

[00:49:42] It's very in line with like.

[00:49:43] Deep ones from Innsmouth.

[00:49:44] Where like.

[00:49:45] And actually.

[00:49:45] Even like.

[00:49:46] Them being rich.

[00:49:46] Is kind of something.

[00:49:47] Deep one-ish.

[00:49:48] Because.

[00:49:49] The whole Marsh family.

[00:49:50] Like.

[00:49:50] Got their fortune from.

[00:49:52] Trading.

[00:49:53] Trading.

[00:49:54] People.

[00:49:55] And.

[00:49:56] People.

[00:49:57] And.

[00:49:57] Their lives.

[00:49:58] For.

[00:49:59] For.

[00:49:59] For white gold.

[00:50:01] So.

[00:50:02] Also got.

[00:50:03] Their fortune by.

[00:50:04] Selling weed.

[00:50:05] Well yeah.

[00:50:06] That too.

[00:50:07] Because of.

[00:50:08] Integrity farms.

[00:50:09] Yeah.

[00:50:11] But yeah.

[00:50:12] So.

[00:50:12] In a while.

[00:50:13] So I figured it shit.

[00:50:14] That's fair.

[00:50:17] The fans demand it.

[00:50:18] I suppose.

[00:50:18] I don't know if they do.

[00:50:20] No.

[00:50:22] But yeah.

[00:50:23] I just like.

[00:50:24] I just.

[00:50:24] As we were talking about this.

[00:50:25] With like.

[00:50:25] With Mikey's thing.

[00:50:26] I was like.

[00:50:26] They're not being fish.

[00:50:29] Ironically.

[00:50:29] As Mikey was described.

[00:50:30] I was like.

[00:50:30] I don't think.

[00:50:31] This is like.

[00:50:32] Water.

[00:50:33] Fish people at all.

[00:50:33] Or some guy.

[00:50:34] Large fish.

[00:50:35] Counterpoint.

[00:50:36] Fuck you.

[00:50:37] No no.

[00:50:38] Counterpoint.

[00:50:38] The SNTF.

[00:50:41] That does always get me.

[00:50:43] On your side.

[00:50:43] When you bring the.

[00:50:44] Supernatural Task Force.

[00:50:45] Into this.

[00:50:45] Yes.

[00:50:46] Our stupid.

[00:50:47] Head cannon.

[00:50:50] Connective tissue.

[00:50:51] To all.

[00:50:52] Creepypastas.

[00:50:53] Ever made.

[00:50:54] Yeah.

[00:50:54] An organization.

[00:50:55] That's just trying to help.

[00:50:56] Vail out like.

[00:50:57] Most of the supernatural entities.

[00:50:59] Of the creepypasta universes.

[00:51:00] Are actually like.

[00:51:02] Not evil.

[00:51:02] They're just like.

[00:51:04] Misunderstood.

[00:51:04] Good.

[00:51:05] And the supernatural task force.

[00:51:06] Is there to help like.

[00:51:07] Help them.

[00:51:09] Exist.

[00:51:09] Coexist with humanity.

[00:51:11] And not get like.

[00:51:13] Not.

[00:51:14] Not.

[00:51:14] Not bring.

[00:51:15] Bring too much attention.

[00:51:17] To the.

[00:51:17] To the public.

[00:51:20] But yeah.

[00:51:20] So.

[00:51:22] Sorry.

[00:51:23] Gamer.

[00:51:24] You're.

[00:51:24] You're.

[00:51:25] You're.

[00:51:25] Time to shine.

[00:51:26] I totally forgot.

[00:51:27] It was my turn.

[00:51:30] Where the hell am I?

[00:51:32] So.

[00:51:34] Let's start at the start.

[00:51:35] With the intro.

[00:51:36] I like that.

[00:51:37] Something's actually happening.

[00:51:38] To WTS again.

[00:51:40] Yeah.

[00:51:40] Because for the longest time.

[00:51:41] It's just been like.

[00:51:42] I heard this.

[00:51:43] Through my.

[00:51:44] My brother's.

[00:51:45] Cousins.

[00:51:46] Father's.

[00:51:46] Future.

[00:51:47] Former.

[00:51:48] Roommate.

[00:51:49] Basically.

[00:51:49] Yeah.

[00:51:50] It's literally.

[00:51:51] It's like.

[00:51:52] It's a true story.

[00:51:53] It happened to a friend.

[00:51:53] Of a friend of mine.

[00:51:55] Like.

[00:51:55] That kind of thing.

[00:51:57] Yeah.

[00:51:57] But we're actually.

[00:51:59] Not directly.

[00:52:00] Happening to him.

[00:52:01] But it's as close to direct.

[00:52:02] As we could get.

[00:52:03] Yeah.

[00:52:04] He's there.

[00:52:04] Present.

[00:52:05] When the other guy.

[00:52:06] Is getting the information.

[00:52:07] Yes.

[00:52:08] The first time.

[00:52:08] He's getting the information too.

[00:52:10] So yes.

[00:52:10] Yeah.

[00:52:12] It's good to actually.

[00:52:12] See him as a character again.

[00:52:14] And not just.

[00:52:14] As a writer.

[00:52:15] Basically.

[00:52:16] Yeah.

[00:52:16] Not just as a collector.

[00:52:17] Of these weird stories.

[00:52:18] Like.

[00:52:19] Yeah.

[00:52:19] Because that's.

[00:52:20] Like.

[00:52:20] It started with him.

[00:52:21] Like.

[00:52:22] Like.

[00:52:22] Encountering something weird.

[00:52:23] And then just realizing.

[00:52:24] That the world around him.

[00:52:25] Is weird.

[00:52:25] Yes.

[00:52:27] The world be weird.

[00:52:28] Yeah.

[00:52:29] Yeah.

[00:52:29] Yeah.

[00:52:32] And then.

[00:52:33] Uh.

[00:52:33] The actual story being told.

[00:52:35] And Malcolm is out there.

[00:52:37] And.

[00:52:38] He's failing.

[00:52:39] And he sees the big boat up ahead.

[00:52:41] And he reads the name on it.

[00:52:42] And says.

[00:52:43] She was the Mary C.

[00:52:44] I can see her name tattooed.

[00:52:46] All fancy like.

[00:52:47] On that classy ass of hers.

[00:52:49] So as soon as I read that.

[00:52:50] I'm like.

[00:52:50] Well.

[00:52:51] Boats are ruined for me now.

[00:52:52] Whenever I see a boat.

[00:52:54] With the name on the back of it.

[00:52:55] Now.

[00:52:55] It'll forever be a tramp stamp.

[00:52:58] That is hilarious.

[00:53:00] You see.

[00:53:00] It ruins it for you.

[00:53:02] That.

[00:53:02] I find that.

[00:53:03] Absolutely hilarious.

[00:53:05] It's.

[00:53:06] It's not a ruin ruin.

[00:53:07] It's more of a like.

[00:53:09] This is fine.

[00:53:10] Or a thanks I hate it situation.

[00:53:12] Yeah.

[00:53:12] Yeah.

[00:53:12] For sure.

[00:53:14] So.

[00:53:14] So like.

[00:53:15] You're.

[00:53:15] Because I know your dad.

[00:53:16] Has a boat.

[00:53:17] Yeah.

[00:53:18] If he ever puts the name on it.

[00:53:20] On the back.

[00:53:20] You're just like.

[00:53:20] No dad please.

[00:53:22] Yeah.

[00:53:22] Like the old Baja we had.

[00:53:23] It said.

[00:53:24] Chiquita this.

[00:53:25] On the back of it.

[00:53:26] Oh god.

[00:53:27] So yeah.

[00:53:28] I'm just imagining it as a tramp stamp now.

[00:53:30] Yeah.

[00:53:32] But yeah.

[00:53:33] Either way.

[00:53:34] Yeah.

[00:53:34] Thanks.

[00:53:35] I hate it.

[00:53:35] Moving on.

[00:53:38] To my only other note.

[00:53:40] Honestly.

[00:53:40] Because I.

[00:53:40] Chimmed in with all my other ones.

[00:53:42] So.

[00:53:44] For multiple weeks in a row now.

[00:53:45] I'm going to play the.

[00:53:47] This is cartoony card.

[00:53:49] That I seem to keep playing over and over again.

[00:53:51] Because like.

[00:53:52] This is the most cartoony way possible.

[00:53:55] For a monster to eat someone.

[00:53:56] Like.

[00:53:57] Just leaving the shoes there.

[00:53:58] With the feet in them.

[00:54:00] Like.

[00:54:01] Sure.

[00:54:01] If you're there.

[00:54:02] It's horrifying.

[00:54:03] But as an outside observer.

[00:54:04] It's just silly.

[00:54:07] I.

[00:54:08] I agree to disagree.

[00:54:10] But.

[00:54:11] I.

[00:54:11] I understand.

[00:54:12] Like you.

[00:54:12] You have a different mindset than me.

[00:54:13] So yeah.

[00:54:14] Okay.

[00:54:14] It is like.

[00:54:15] The most.

[00:54:16] Cartoon-y way.

[00:54:17] You can.

[00:54:19] Sever someone.

[00:54:20] And like.

[00:54:20] If you eat them whole.

[00:54:22] It's like.

[00:54:22] Okay.

[00:54:22] That's.

[00:54:24] That's a thing.

[00:54:25] If you bite them in half.

[00:54:26] Yeah.

[00:54:26] That's super gory.

[00:54:27] But like.

[00:54:27] Just the feet.

[00:54:28] Leaving there.

[00:54:29] It's like.

[00:54:30] He's.

[00:54:30] And he's purposefully doing it.

[00:54:32] Every single time.

[00:54:33] He knows what he's doing.

[00:54:34] That's.

[00:54:34] He could easily.

[00:54:36] Eat the whole thing.

[00:54:36] Especially since one of them was a kid.

[00:54:38] Which was smaller.

[00:54:39] Would be easier to eat.

[00:54:41] I.

[00:54:41] I understand.

[00:54:42] That you.

[00:54:43] You think it's goofy.

[00:54:43] Because of that.

[00:54:44] I think that's more fucked up.

[00:54:45] Because that insane.

[00:54:46] That.

[00:54:46] That gives off a much more sinister.

[00:54:49] Personality.

[00:54:49] To this creature.

[00:54:51] That it's no longer really a creature.

[00:54:52] It's now just a straight up monster.

[00:54:54] That is.

[00:54:55] Doing this.

[00:54:56] For pleasure.

[00:54:57] Not.

[00:54:58] And not just for food.

[00:54:59] I mean.

[00:54:59] It's possible he doesn't like.

[00:55:02] Like the taste of feet.

[00:55:03] I guess.

[00:55:04] I don't know.

[00:55:05] I mean.

[00:55:05] Have you.

[00:55:05] I mean.

[00:55:05] People's feet smell.

[00:55:07] Like really bad.

[00:55:07] So like.

[00:55:08] I can't understand that.

[00:55:09] Okay.

[00:55:09] Fair enough.

[00:55:12] But I don't know.

[00:55:12] It just.

[00:55:13] It was.

[00:55:13] Yeah.

[00:55:14] It is.

[00:55:14] Every time.

[00:55:15] It is kind of silly.

[00:55:17] But at the same time.

[00:55:18] Like.

[00:55:18] I think.

[00:55:18] It is also like.

[00:55:19] Not even just like.

[00:55:20] In that moment.

[00:55:21] I think some people will read this.

[00:55:22] And like.

[00:55:23] Like myself.

[00:55:23] And just like.

[00:55:24] That's really fucked up.

[00:55:25] Like.

[00:55:26] What the fuck happened here?

[00:55:28] Yeah.

[00:55:29] Like.

[00:55:29] Like.

[00:55:30] I'd be.

[00:55:30] Like.

[00:55:30] I'd be really nervous in that situation.

[00:55:32] Even like.

[00:55:32] Like.

[00:55:33] As.

[00:55:33] Because.

[00:55:34] It's.

[00:55:35] It's so silly.

[00:55:36] It's terrifying.

[00:55:38] Oh.

[00:55:38] That's why I said like.

[00:55:39] If you're there in the moment.

[00:55:41] Sure.

[00:55:41] I'd be.

[00:55:43] Horrified.

[00:55:43] And terrified as well.

[00:55:44] Of course.

[00:55:45] But.

[00:55:45] As an outside observer.

[00:55:47] Safely here.

[00:55:48] Reading this on the internet.

[00:55:50] It just looks silly to me.

[00:55:52] Fair.

[00:55:53] And like.

[00:55:54] I.

[00:55:55] I also don't know.

[00:55:56] If it's a creature or not.

[00:55:57] Because like.

[00:55:59] It could just be some fucked up serial killer doing this.

[00:56:01] Yeah.

[00:56:01] I was about to say that.

[00:56:02] Like killing people.

[00:56:03] And then chopping their feet off.

[00:56:04] And leaving them in comedic locations.

[00:56:06] Because that's his calling card or something.

[00:56:08] Oh my god.

[00:56:09] I just.

[00:56:09] So.

[00:56:11] So.

[00:56:12] So.

[00:56:12] So.

[00:56:13] So.

[00:56:13] Malcolm.

[00:56:14] Malcolm drove past this.

[00:56:15] This yacht.

[00:56:16] A few hours prior to.

[00:56:18] Showing back up and arriving to see that it was there.

[00:56:21] Again.

[00:56:22] In that time.

[00:56:23] Somebody could have like showed up with another.

[00:56:25] With a smaller.

[00:56:26] Like more covert boat.

[00:56:27] Out here.

[00:56:29] Get on.

[00:56:29] Got onto the.

[00:56:30] Get on.

[00:56:31] Got onto the yacht.

[00:56:32] Kill the people in this fashion.

[00:56:34] Maybe even dumped the.

[00:56:35] The.

[00:56:36] The.

[00:56:36] The.

[00:56:37] The.

[00:56:37] The.

[00:56:38] Feetless.

[00:56:38] Bodies.

[00:56:39] Into the ocean.

[00:56:40] Or put them into their own boat.

[00:56:41] Um.

[00:56:42] And then even like.

[00:56:43] And uh.

[00:56:43] Drove it off.

[00:56:44] But then.

[00:56:45] Got.

[00:56:46] Maybe they had scuba gear.

[00:56:48] To go back to the yacht.

[00:56:50] To break it.

[00:56:50] Or to like.

[00:56:51] To uh.

[00:56:51] To uh.

[00:56:52] Damage it.

[00:56:52] So that it would start sinking.

[00:56:54] And then they noticed that um.

[00:56:56] That another boat was showing up.

[00:56:58] I.E.

[00:56:58] Malcolm's boat was showing up.

[00:56:59] So they went under the water.

[00:57:01] In their scuba gear.

[00:57:02] And.

[00:57:03] They still had like some.

[00:57:04] Maybe some feet on them.

[00:57:05] Or they saw like.

[00:57:05] Like some feet were like.

[00:57:07] Falling in the water.

[00:57:07] So they grabbed that.

[00:57:08] And decided this was the perfect way.

[00:57:10] To cover this up.

[00:57:11] Is to blame it on somebody else.

[00:57:12] Again.

[00:57:13] See my.

[00:57:14] SNTFI situation.

[00:57:15] Yeah.

[00:57:16] But they tossed it.

[00:57:17] But it was like.

[00:57:17] The serial killer himself.

[00:57:18] Who like popped up.

[00:57:19] Uh.

[00:57:19] From the water.

[00:57:20] Dropped off the uh.

[00:57:22] The uh.

[00:57:24] Uh.

[00:57:24] The feet into Malcolm's boat.

[00:57:25] Then went back into the water.

[00:57:26] And swam back.

[00:57:27] And swam to his boat.

[00:57:28] That's like.

[00:57:28] Because it's nighttime at this point.

[00:57:30] So like.

[00:57:30] You might not be able to see.

[00:57:32] Necessarily like a dark boat.

[00:57:34] Yeah.

[00:57:35] So yeah.

[00:57:35] This whole thing could have like.

[00:57:36] You've literally been like.

[00:57:37] A serial killer.

[00:57:38] Who was just like.

[00:57:39] Hiding in the shadows.

[00:57:40] Literally.

[00:57:41] And like.

[00:57:41] Had like some gear to like.

[00:57:42] To be in the water and such.

[00:57:44] Too.

[00:57:45] Cause yeah.

[00:57:46] That's the other weird part.

[00:57:47] Is like.

[00:57:48] There's a lot of stuff we don't know.

[00:57:50] And not knowing.

[00:57:51] Aids in.

[00:57:52] It being creepy.

[00:57:54] But like.

[00:57:56] I hate not knowing.

[00:57:58] Why the hell.

[00:58:00] Why feet just showed up.

[00:58:01] In his own boat.

[00:58:03] Like.

[00:58:04] I know it's there for the purpose of framing him.

[00:58:06] But like.

[00:58:06] He also didn't need to be there for framing him.

[00:58:09] Because like.

[00:58:09] He had all.

[00:58:10] The blood on him.

[00:58:12] Right.

[00:58:14] Uh.

[00:58:14] Probably just from like.

[00:58:15] Stumbling around.

[00:58:16] He didn't pick anything up.

[00:58:17] Yeah.

[00:58:18] So like.

[00:58:18] I mean like.

[00:58:19] Again.

[00:58:19] Again.

[00:58:20] Like the.

[00:58:20] The justice system.

[00:58:21] I think in the states.

[00:58:21] Is a little bit more.

[00:58:23] Uh.

[00:58:24] Like.

[00:58:24] Guilty until proven otherwise.

[00:58:26] Kind of thing.

[00:58:26] So.

[00:58:27] I think.

[00:58:27] I could be wrong about that.

[00:58:29] But um.

[00:58:30] It wasn't looking good for him.

[00:58:31] Regardless.

[00:58:32] No.

[00:58:32] He.

[00:58:32] He was kind of fucked from.

[00:58:33] From the get go.

[00:58:34] He didn't call it in.

[00:58:35] Trying to be.

[00:58:36] He did call it in.

[00:58:37] That's true.

[00:58:37] Yeah.

[00:58:37] But he could have done that as a cover.

[00:58:39] But.

[00:58:40] Yeah.

[00:58:41] Or again.

[00:58:41] It just shows like.

[00:58:42] There's some kind of corruption.

[00:58:43] Within the authorities.

[00:58:44] Like that.

[00:58:44] Like they covered up.

[00:58:45] Like to make him.

[00:58:47] The fall guy for this.

[00:58:48] But.

[00:58:49] Yeah.

[00:58:50] I get you.

[00:58:51] It's it.

[00:58:51] It makes it creepy.

[00:58:53] But there's some.

[00:58:53] There's a few like.

[00:58:54] Cracks in the plot.

[00:58:56] Yeah.

[00:58:56] Like.

[00:58:56] If he tried.

[00:58:58] To prove himself innocent.

[00:59:00] He probably could have got out.

[00:59:01] Because like.

[00:59:01] He wouldn't have had time to.

[00:59:04] Lop off all these people's feet.

[00:59:05] And like.

[00:59:06] Hide the bodies.

[00:59:07] Or throw the bodies overboard.

[00:59:08] Or whatever.

[00:59:09] Before the.

[00:59:10] Authority showed up.

[00:59:11] Because they were basically.

[00:59:11] On his tail.

[00:59:12] With the looks of it.

[00:59:14] Yeah.

[00:59:15] He didn't want to.

[00:59:16] He wanted to be safe.

[00:59:18] From whatever did this.

[00:59:19] Yeah.

[00:59:20] I'll just go to jail.

[00:59:21] Fuck it.

[00:59:22] Yeah.

[00:59:22] And honestly.

[00:59:23] Like.

[00:59:23] Even from that point of view.

[00:59:24] Like.

[00:59:24] This was actually just a mundane.

[00:59:27] Mundane.

[00:59:27] Non-supernatural.

[00:59:28] Like serial killer kind of thing.

[00:59:30] That he stumbled onto.

[00:59:31] And some of that.

[00:59:31] Like even though there's no.

[00:59:32] Supernatural element here involved.

[00:59:34] Given.

[00:59:35] Again.

[00:59:35] Malcolm's state of mind.

[00:59:36] And his past.

[00:59:38] I could see him.

[00:59:39] Just like seeing.

[00:59:39] That he's going to go to prison.

[00:59:40] It's like.

[00:59:40] Wait.

[00:59:40] I'm going to go to prison.

[00:59:41] I was like.

[00:59:42] Fuck.

[00:59:42] I'm going to prison.

[00:59:43] Wait.

[00:59:45] Prison is.

[00:59:46] I have a shell.

[00:59:47] I have shelter.

[00:59:48] I have three.

[00:59:49] Three meals a day.

[00:59:50] I'm safe.

[00:59:53] Fuck it.

[00:59:55] Yeah.

[00:59:55] Like.

[00:59:56] That could have been his mindset.

[00:59:57] It's just like.

[00:59:57] You know what?

[00:59:57] Fuck it.

[00:59:58] I'll take the fall.

[01:00:01] Yeah.

[01:00:01] Pretty much.

[01:00:03] And yeah.

[01:00:03] To clarify for me.

[01:00:05] On the creepy ass.

[01:00:06] Or the silliness aspect of this.

[01:00:07] The silliness aspect is because.

[01:00:10] The thing is called bigger fish.

[01:00:12] And when this thing.

[01:00:14] Is being described as killing people by.

[01:00:17] Like.

[01:00:17] Eating everything except the feet.

[01:00:19] I imagined it is a huge.

[01:00:21] Fish like thing that just.

[01:00:23] Came up and bit these guys and.

[01:00:25] Ran away.

[01:00:26] But then.

[01:00:27] It's led to.

[01:00:29] It's written in a way that makes us.

[01:00:31] Say that this creature or.

[01:00:33] Whatever.

[01:00:34] Whatever.

[01:00:34] Is.

[01:00:35] Purposely.

[01:00:36] Trying to frame him.

[01:00:37] So I imagine this huge fish.

[01:00:40] Like.

[01:00:40] Sneakily.

[01:00:41] Like going around.

[01:00:42] Like picking up feet and shoes.

[01:00:44] And like placing them places.

[01:00:45] Going.

[01:00:46] Meanwhile he's like this big horrifying fish.

[01:00:48] That's where the silliness is.

[01:00:49] That's.

[01:00:50] That's fair.

[01:00:50] Yeah.

[01:00:50] You're.

[01:00:51] You're taking it a little bit more literal.

[01:00:52] Because of the title.

[01:00:52] Yeah.

[01:00:54] Because like we don't know what happened.

[01:00:55] Like.

[01:00:56] Yeah.

[01:00:56] No.

[01:00:57] We.

[01:00:57] We don't.

[01:00:57] It could have been that.

[01:00:58] And that's.

[01:00:59] That's silly.

[01:01:00] But.

[01:01:00] Because my initial head cannon was a large.

[01:01:04] Creature.

[01:01:04] Not a humanoid.

[01:01:06] A humanoid doing this is.

[01:01:08] More creepy thing.

[01:01:09] But I saw it as more of an animal.

[01:01:11] Yeah.

[01:01:12] That's true.

[01:01:13] And like.

[01:01:13] At first that's what you think it's going to be.

[01:01:15] Because.

[01:01:16] Of the title.

[01:01:17] And the setup.

[01:01:17] And stuff like that.

[01:01:18] But then you start seeing the details of the killings.

[01:01:20] And you're like.

[01:01:21] That doesn't correlate to an animal.

[01:01:23] At all.

[01:01:24] Yeah.

[01:01:25] But I couldn't get it out of my head.

[01:01:26] The silliness locked in there.

[01:01:29] Yeah.

[01:01:30] Yeah.

[01:01:31] That's the end of the news.

[01:01:32] Basically.

[01:01:33] All right.

[01:01:34] Well.

[01:01:35] I suppose.

[01:01:35] On to final thoughts.

[01:01:37] Yeah.

[01:01:38] I.

[01:01:38] I really dug it.

[01:01:39] It's short.

[01:01:40] And I could.

[01:01:42] Use some more.

[01:01:43] I am a Disney princess.

[01:01:44] I must have more.

[01:01:46] But I don't need more.

[01:01:48] I mean.

[01:01:49] Maybe.

[01:01:50] Another story that progresses the plot thread here.

[01:01:53] Or the mystery.

[01:01:53] But like.

[01:01:55] That's it.

[01:01:56] And even that is like.

[01:01:57] I think that might even do it.

[01:01:58] Like.

[01:01:58] That might even like.

[01:01:58] Steal some of the magic.

[01:02:00] That I.

[01:02:00] That I.

[01:02:01] Because like.

[01:02:01] These kind of stories.

[01:02:02] Where like.

[01:02:02] I don't get the context.

[01:02:03] Or I don't get the.

[01:02:05] Explanation as to like.

[01:02:06] What did this.

[01:02:07] I'm actually kind of fine with not knowing.

[01:02:09] Just like.

[01:02:10] Leaving me to speculate.

[01:02:11] What the fuck it is.

[01:02:12] Because that's part of the mystique.

[01:02:13] And the magic.

[01:02:14] Of.

[01:02:14] For me.

[01:02:15] Of these kind of like.

[01:02:16] Horrific mysteries.

[01:02:17] Or these like.

[01:02:18] Killings and stuff like that.

[01:02:19] That out of context horror.

[01:02:21] Mm-hmm.

[01:02:22] Not knowing what happened.

[01:02:23] And just being.

[01:02:24] Given the aftermath.

[01:02:26] Um.

[01:02:28] So.

[01:02:28] Yeah.

[01:02:29] I.

[01:02:29] I.

[01:02:30] Like the concept of the wrong place.

[01:02:32] Wrong time.

[01:02:32] For poor Malcolm.

[01:02:34] Um.

[01:02:35] These stories.

[01:02:36] Seem to be.

[01:02:37] Really good.

[01:02:38] At least to me.

[01:02:39] About making.

[01:02:41] Sympathetic victims.

[01:02:42] To the scenarios.

[01:02:43] In play.

[01:02:44] Like.

[01:02:45] Not.

[01:02:45] Again.

[01:02:45] Not as bad.

[01:02:46] Not.

[01:02:47] I mean.

[01:02:48] Again.

[01:02:48] Not as bad.

[01:02:49] As.

[01:02:49] As poor.

[01:02:51] For.

[01:02:51] Uh.

[01:02:52] Uh.

[01:02:52] Emily.

[01:02:53] Or.

[01:02:53] Or.

[01:02:53] Yeah.

[01:02:53] Poor Emily.

[01:02:54] Or.

[01:02:55] Um.

[01:02:56] Uh.

[01:02:57] Christine.

[01:02:57] Or what not have you.

[01:02:58] But again.

[01:02:58] Like.

[01:02:59] I really felt for Malcolm.

[01:03:00] Like.

[01:03:00] Like.

[01:03:00] His early life and shit.

[01:03:02] Like.

[01:03:02] I felt sad for.

[01:03:03] For Malcolm.

[01:03:04] Like.

[01:03:04] About like.

[01:03:05] How his life had turned out.

[01:03:06] Until like.

[01:03:06] And I was like.

[01:03:07] Wonder as like.

[01:03:08] Is like.

[01:03:08] Is he going to snap?

[01:03:09] Is he actually.

[01:03:09] Is he the killer?

[01:03:10] And then it turns out.

[01:03:11] He wasn't the killer.

[01:03:12] And he just like.

[01:03:13] He just accepted this.

[01:03:14] And I was like.

[01:03:14] Oh.

[01:03:15] This is really sad.

[01:03:15] So like.

[01:03:16] These stories have been really good.

[01:03:17] At making sympathetic victims.

[01:03:20] That make me actually care.

[01:03:21] About the character that's talking.

[01:03:22] Or the character that's involved.

[01:03:24] In this thing.

[01:03:26] Because so.

[01:03:26] Far too often.

[01:03:27] We do have some creepypastas.

[01:03:28] That are just like.

[01:03:29] The character is just there to be.

[01:03:31] Tormented.

[01:03:32] Or terrorized.

[01:03:33] By the thing in the now.

[01:03:34] And we don't get to know.

[01:03:35] That character.

[01:03:36] Yeah.

[01:03:38] So it.

[01:03:39] Yeah.

[01:03:40] So.

[01:03:41] Um.

[01:03:41] Yeah.

[01:03:42] I'm still willing to recommend this.

[01:03:43] Like fully.

[01:03:44] Because I really.

[01:03:45] It's.

[01:03:45] It's short.

[01:03:46] It's like such a.

[01:03:47] For me.

[01:03:48] It's such a nice.

[01:03:50] Out of context.

[01:03:50] Horror.

[01:03:51] Of like.

[01:03:51] What the fuck is this thing.

[01:03:52] That's killed these people.

[01:03:54] And.

[01:03:54] Like.

[01:03:55] What is this bigger fish.

[01:03:56] So to speak.

[01:03:58] But.

[01:03:59] Uh.

[01:03:59] Yeah.

[01:04:00] Mikey.

[01:04:01] These stands for evil.

[01:04:03] Yeah.

[01:04:05] So.

[01:04:06] The.

[01:04:10] Unfortunate.

[01:04:10] Grammar.

[01:04:11] Issue I had.

[01:04:12] Um.

[01:04:14] Which.

[01:04:14] Made me anticipate.

[01:04:15] An entirely different ending.

[01:04:17] Yeah.

[01:04:18] Really.

[01:04:18] Yeah.

[01:04:19] I mean.

[01:04:19] That.

[01:04:20] That was also a good outcome.

[01:04:21] If that had actually been the case.

[01:04:23] Because.

[01:04:24] But.

[01:04:24] Yeah.

[01:04:25] Well.

[01:04:25] And that's entirely on me.

[01:04:27] So.

[01:04:28] I'm holding that against myself.

[01:04:30] Um.

[01:04:31] But.

[01:04:33] You should.

[01:04:35] I'm kidding.

[01:04:48] I'm kidding.

[01:04:49] Not necessarily.

[01:04:50] Probably not.

[01:04:53] And.

[01:04:53] And.

[01:04:56] Like.

[01:04:57] Gambranillo pointed out.

[01:04:58] Like.

[01:04:59] Why.

[01:04:59] Was the.

[01:05:01] Drape still there.

[01:05:03] Because.

[01:05:04] The.

[01:05:05] Kid hid behind it.

[01:05:06] And now.

[01:05:07] Only his feet are there.

[01:05:08] Yeah.

[01:05:09] Like.

[01:05:11] Um.

[01:05:12] You know.

[01:05:13] So.

[01:05:14] It also makes me wonder.

[01:05:15] If the feet in the tub.

[01:05:17] Were also like.

[01:05:17] Placed.

[01:05:18] Like.

[01:05:20] Placed there.

[01:05:20] And they weren't just hiding in the tub.

[01:05:22] But they.

[01:05:22] Before.

[01:05:23] When they were eaten.

[01:05:23] There's a 0% chance.

[01:05:24] They were in that.

[01:05:25] At this point.

[01:05:26] Yeah.

[01:05:26] At this point.

[01:05:26] It was basically like.

[01:05:28] We're dealing with some kind of a.

[01:05:30] Nat.

[01:05:30] Either natural.

[01:05:31] Or preternatural serial killer.

[01:05:35] Yeah.

[01:05:36] Um.

[01:05:39] So.

[01:05:40] Yeah.

[01:05:40] The.

[01:05:43] And the other thing.

[01:05:44] Like.

[01:05:45] What is.

[01:05:47] The.

[01:05:48] Monster's motives.

[01:05:49] Like.

[01:05:51] It's very hard to determine.

[01:05:53] Whether.

[01:05:54] Like.

[01:05:54] As.

[01:05:55] Cultist said.

[01:05:55] That.

[01:05:56] The monster's trying to frame the guy.

[01:05:58] By putting feet in his boat.

[01:06:00] Yeah.

[01:06:00] Uh.

[01:06:03] But.

[01:06:04] It just.

[01:06:06] I don't know where.

[01:06:07] What the monster's objective is.

[01:06:09] Other than to eat.

[01:06:10] And not feet.

[01:06:12] To eat.

[01:06:13] But not feet.

[01:06:14] And then like.

[01:06:15] Just to like.

[01:06:16] Maybe hide it.

[01:06:16] Like.

[01:06:16] Cover its tracks.

[01:06:18] Basically.

[01:06:19] Huh.

[01:06:19] Eh.

[01:06:19] Cause tracks.

[01:06:20] Hide its tracks.

[01:06:21] And he.

[01:06:21] He doesn't eat the feet.

[01:06:23] I'll leave.

[01:06:28] Um.

[01:06:29] Um.

[01:06:30] And then.

[01:06:31] The.

[01:06:33] Malcolm.

[01:06:34] Being.

[01:06:35] In.

[01:06:36] The.

[01:06:36] Prison.

[01:06:38] When.

[01:06:39] Probably.

[01:06:40] Could have.

[01:06:40] Pleaded innocent.

[01:06:41] And gotten.

[01:06:42] Set free.

[01:06:44] When.

[01:06:46] It.

[01:06:46] His experience.

[01:06:48] Was on the water.

[01:06:49] So.

[01:06:51] To me.

[01:06:53] He.

[01:06:53] He could stay on land.

[01:06:56] And.

[01:06:57] Be perfectly fine.

[01:06:58] That's all.

[01:06:58] Land based monster.

[01:06:59] Gets him.

[01:07:00] Yeah.

[01:07:01] I think.

[01:07:01] His eyes have been opened.

[01:07:02] To like.

[01:07:03] The secret world.

[01:07:03] Going on.

[01:07:04] All the weird shit.

[01:07:05] Oh my god.

[01:07:06] This is.

[01:07:07] All these stories.

[01:07:08] Of people opening their eyes.

[01:07:10] To the secret world.

[01:07:11] Yeah.

[01:07:12] Um.

[01:07:13] Also like.

[01:07:14] Again.

[01:07:14] The point.

[01:07:14] Like.

[01:07:15] Something.

[01:07:15] Like.

[01:07:16] Yeah.

[01:07:16] Yes.

[01:07:16] He.

[01:07:16] He could be free.

[01:07:17] But like.

[01:07:18] How.

[01:07:18] Like.

[01:07:18] Is he.

[01:07:18] Is his life.

[01:07:19] I think he may have also like.

[01:07:21] Made a.

[01:07:21] Made a.

[01:07:21] Judgment calls.

[01:07:22] Like.

[01:07:22] Would his life be better.

[01:07:24] As a free guy.

[01:07:25] After this.

[01:07:26] Or would he.

[01:07:27] Or would he just like.

[01:07:28] Basically just go off himself.

[01:07:29] Um.

[01:07:30] Like.

[01:07:30] Or was he better off.

[01:07:32] Like.

[01:07:32] Did he.

[01:07:32] Think he.

[01:07:33] He had better chance of like.

[01:07:34] Living and maybe even.

[01:07:36] Thriving.

[01:07:36] In prison.

[01:07:38] Ironically.

[01:07:39] Then.

[01:07:40] Being a.

[01:07:40] Being a free man.

[01:07:41] Where he has the freedom to.

[01:07:42] You know.

[01:07:43] Just end it.

[01:07:44] Because his life's been so shitty.

[01:07:45] And this whole.

[01:07:46] And then this big.

[01:07:47] Traumatic shitty thing.

[01:07:48] Happened too.

[01:07:49] So.

[01:07:50] Yeah.

[01:07:51] And effectively.

[01:07:51] Probably would have stolen.

[01:07:52] Like.

[01:07:53] Whatever joy he had from fishing.

[01:07:55] Um.

[01:07:55] After that.

[01:07:56] So like.

[01:07:57] That was his like.

[01:07:58] One motivation in life.

[01:07:59] After.

[01:07:59] Right before he was about to kill himself.

[01:08:02] Was.

[01:08:03] The sea.

[01:08:03] And now that's been taken from him.

[01:08:05] So he's just like.

[01:08:06] Fuck it.

[01:08:06] Just.

[01:08:07] Just bring me to prison.

[01:08:09] Worst case scenario.

[01:08:10] I die.

[01:08:11] By.

[01:08:12] By.

[01:08:12] By lethal injection or something.

[01:08:13] For the murders.

[01:08:15] Oh no.

[01:08:16] Like that.

[01:08:16] Like.

[01:08:17] I.

[01:08:17] I'm not saying that's a good thing.

[01:08:19] But like.

[01:08:19] I'm saying like.

[01:08:20] That's probably like.

[01:08:21] How frail his mental state was.

[01:08:22] Even like.

[01:08:24] From at that point.

[01:08:25] Yeah.

[01:08:27] That's true.

[01:08:29] But I don't know.

[01:08:30] Yeah.

[01:08:31] Actually.

[01:08:31] Yeah.

[01:08:32] All that.

[01:08:32] Go ahead.

[01:08:35] Yeah.

[01:08:36] Just going to.

[01:08:37] Wrap up my thoughts.

[01:08:40] All right.

[01:08:41] So.

[01:08:41] Yeah.

[01:08:41] All that said.

[01:08:43] I'm still only going to personally recommend this.

[01:08:46] Like.

[01:08:47] It does have some creepiness of.

[01:08:49] You know.

[01:08:50] What happened to the people on the boat.

[01:08:53] But.

[01:08:54] It also.

[01:08:55] As.

[01:08:56] Gamer pointed out.

[01:08:57] Hilariousness of the feet being placed.

[01:09:00] Wherever.

[01:09:02] And not necessarily where the people were killed.

[01:09:06] So.

[01:09:08] Yeah.

[01:09:09] It's still a partial.

[01:09:10] All right.

[01:09:14] And.

[01:09:14] Gamer.

[01:09:16] Yeah.

[01:09:16] So as I said before.

[01:09:17] I saw it kind of silly.

[01:09:19] Because I envisioned the.

[01:09:21] The monster as a.

[01:09:22] Big animal like monster.

[01:09:24] Creeping around.

[01:09:26] Placing feet and stuff.

[01:09:28] To be a little prankster.

[01:09:30] And again.

[01:09:31] It's all done with.

[01:09:32] The creepiest of intentions.

[01:09:34] And visuals of course.

[01:09:35] But it's.

[01:09:36] Still nonetheless.

[01:09:37] Silly in my eye.

[01:09:39] Because we don't know what the creature is.

[01:09:40] As it was said before.

[01:09:42] Or we assume it's a humanoid at some point.

[01:09:44] If he's doing all this shit.

[01:09:45] But I couldn't get the image out of my mind.

[01:09:49] So that's what it kind of stayed as.

[01:09:51] And that's what kind of ruined it for me unfortunately.

[01:09:54] Because I couldn't get the silliness.

[01:09:58] I couldn't get past the silliness.

[01:10:00] Like.

[01:10:01] To get to the end.

[01:10:02] And like.

[01:10:03] The payoff at the end.

[01:10:05] Like.

[01:10:06] I don't know.

[01:10:07] For how much like work.

[01:10:09] Is done in all the intro.

[01:10:11] And all the time you spend with the characters and stuff.

[01:10:14] Having it.

[01:10:15] End.

[01:10:16] Or having the reveal of.

[01:10:18] Him not doing it.

[01:10:21] He just showed up.

[01:10:22] And there was just feet there for reasons.

[01:10:24] And someone.

[01:10:25] Framed him with feet.

[01:10:27] Like.

[01:10:27] That whole payoff.

[01:10:28] To all the intro stuff.

[01:10:30] That was all really well done.

[01:10:31] Well written.

[01:10:31] I liked all the characters.

[01:10:33] I don't know.

[01:10:33] It just didn't.

[01:10:35] It didn't feel up to snuff.

[01:10:36] To the rest of it.

[01:10:37] For some reason for me.

[01:10:39] Probably.

[01:10:39] Probably because.

[01:10:40] Of the.

[01:10:41] Partoonie.

[01:10:42] Glasses I had on.

[01:10:43] During the whole damn thing.

[01:10:45] So it's probably on me.

[01:10:47] Um.

[01:10:48] But yeah.

[01:10:50] I like the whole reasoning.

[01:10:51] Of why we had the story.

[01:10:52] I liked that.

[01:10:53] WTS was actually involved.

[01:10:55] Partially in this again.

[01:10:56] But.

[01:10:57] The creep just fell flat on me.

[01:10:58] Unfortunately.

[01:10:59] And that's why I'm.

[01:11:01] Personally not going to recommend it.

[01:11:03] I guess it's.

[01:11:04] Technically a partial.

[01:11:05] Because I liked everything.

[01:11:07] Up until the main point.

[01:11:08] Of the story.

[01:11:09] Which is kind of.

[01:11:10] Unfortunate to say.

[01:11:12] Yeah.

[01:11:14] The writing's good.

[01:11:15] It's just.

[01:11:15] It didn't hit me right.

[01:11:16] So.

[01:11:16] I personally can't recommend it.

[01:11:18] For.

[01:11:18] If I was.

[01:11:19] If I was trying to recommend it.

[01:11:20] To my clone.

[01:11:21] My clone would probably have the same.

[01:11:23] Uh.

[01:11:24] Result.

[01:11:24] So I would not recommend it.

[01:11:27] Okay.

[01:11:29] Uh.

[01:11:30] Then I guess that'll do it.

[01:11:31] For this week's episode.

[01:11:32] So.

[01:11:33] A recommendation.

[01:11:34] A partial recommendation.

[01:11:35] And a non-recommendation.

[01:11:36] Depending on.

[01:11:38] Your perspective.

[01:11:39] And.

[01:11:40] An opinion.

[01:11:40] And the cartooniness.

[01:11:41] Of the glasses that you.

[01:11:42] Have on at the time.

[01:11:44] Yeah.

[01:11:45] Again.

[01:11:45] Your mindset.

[01:11:47] Yeah.

[01:11:48] If you've recently.

[01:11:49] Played high on life.

[01:11:49] And then you read this.

[01:11:51] Probably going to be cartoon.

[01:11:52] Well.

[01:11:53] Yeah.

[01:11:53] Probably.

[01:11:54] Yeah.

[01:11:54] That.

[01:11:55] That probably didn't help.

[01:11:56] No it didn't.

[01:11:59] Then.

[01:11:59] Meanwhile.

[01:12:00] I'm here.

[01:12:00] Like.

[01:12:01] Like.

[01:12:01] Playing through Fallout games.

[01:12:03] And.

[01:12:03] Where like.

[01:12:04] There are so many.

[01:12:05] Just fucked up.

[01:12:06] Like.

[01:12:06] Post.

[01:12:07] Or like.

[01:12:07] Pre-war.

[01:12:08] Post-war.

[01:12:09] Like.

[01:12:09] Skeletons.

[01:12:10] In like.

[01:12:11] Weird locations.

[01:12:12] Or like.

[01:12:13] Raider.

[01:12:14] Like.

[01:12:14] Sadistic raider pranks.

[01:12:16] That are just left.

[01:12:17] In the wasteland.

[01:12:18] And you're just like.

[01:12:19] The fuck did this?

[01:12:20] Like.

[01:12:20] Why did somebody.

[01:12:21] Like.

[01:12:21] Why did somebody.

[01:12:23] Set up these.

[01:12:24] These skeletons.

[01:12:25] To sit out on a couch.

[01:12:26] And like.

[01:12:27] Uh.

[01:12:27] And like.

[01:12:28] Watching.

[01:12:28] Like.

[01:12:31] What the fuck.

[01:12:33] But yeah.

[01:12:34] So.

[01:12:35] Um.

[01:12:36] Yeah.

[01:12:37] That'll do it for this week's episode.

[01:12:38] Uh.

[01:12:39] If you like what you heard.

[01:12:40] Or if you didn't.

[01:12:40] Leave us a comment.

[01:12:41] In the comment section below.

[01:12:50] But that that W at the end.

[01:12:51] Is very long.

[01:12:52] Yeah.

[01:12:53] Also he's very.

[01:12:54] He's very.

[01:12:55] Like.

[01:12:56] Very seldom on Twitter.

[01:12:57] I'm gonna check it right now.

[01:12:59] My weekly check of Twitter.

[01:13:02] Yeah.

[01:13:03] Uh.

[01:13:03] And I'm at Review Cultist.

[01:13:49] It'd be like screaming into the void.

[01:13:51] And without your authorship.

[01:13:53] Without these stories that you post online.

[01:13:55] To.

[01:13:56] For people to.

[01:13:56] To read.

[01:13:57] Enjoy.

[01:13:58] And get scared at.

[01:13:59] We really wouldn't have much of a show.

[01:14:00] Because we'd have nothing to talk about.

[01:14:02] So thank you.

[01:14:03] Until next time.

[01:14:04] I have been your host.

[01:14:05] Review Cultist.

[01:14:06] I'm Mikey.

[01:14:07] The East Ends Revo.

[01:14:08] And I'm the Gamer in Yellow.

[01:14:09] And this has been.

[01:14:10] Al dente rigor mortis.

[01:14:12] Sleep well.

[01:14:12] See you next world.

[01:14:12] time.

[01:14:12] Bye now. Bye now.

[01:14:13] Bye now.

[01:14:13] Bye now.

[01:14:14] Bye now.
