[00:05:00] Because, as it is, David, on top of working a really shitty night job at a grocery store, he's also working the night shift, like, security and stuff like that.

[00:05:12] When things get really bad, like school calls and child services comes knocking, Adam eventually reveals to his dad that he's been saving the lunch money up so his dad could stay home one night.

[00:05:28] Overwhelmed by guilt, David calls in sick and stays home with his son, Adam.

[00:05:35] Though his son wants him to merely watch over him while he sleeps.

[00:05:42] In quotes,

[00:05:50] Despite this very odd and creepy explanation as to why Adam wants David to be with him one of these nights,

[00:05:57] David watches over his son, remembering the early days of fatherhood when he did this.

[00:06:04] Morning comes, and as David is assuring his son that nothing came in the night to take him or anything like that,

[00:06:11] a creepy skeletal figure crawls out from the ceiling and whispers a warning and farewell to them.

[00:06:20] After this, David continued to work his night shift jobs.

[00:06:25] Because it's the only way to be awake if and when the skeleton man returns.
