[00:00:19] Oh, hello and welcome to Adente Rigamortis. I'm Review Cultist.

[00:00:23] I'm Mikey, E stands for evil.

[00:00:26] And I'm the Gamer in Yellow.

[00:00:27] And we're here to discuss those internet stories, most creepy and most pasta, and be critically silly doing it.

[00:00:33] Tonight we have, for SCP-Cember, SCP-1471, otherwise known as MalO Version 1.0.0.

[00:00:47] So, you know, we've covered a couple of pretty infamous and famous SCPs in our time here.

[00:00:54] From Shy Guy, who like, if you see him in an image, in any kind of image format, except for I think a drawing,

[00:01:02] he'll know about you and just basically it will raise heaven and earth to find you and kill you and eat you.

[00:01:09] Like we've covered a bunch of like crazy, like infamous SCPs and ones that are like famous on the internet.

[00:01:15] Like 999.

[00:01:16] Yeah, 999.

[00:01:17] Yeah, little yellow goopy guy.

[00:01:19] Mm-hmm.

[00:01:20] Whole song about it, whole Carol made for it.

[00:01:24] See our previous 999 episode.

[00:01:26] Yeah, exactly.

[00:01:28] And it was inevitable that we were eventually going to cover the other really famous SCP that's on the internet,

[00:01:34] which is MalO Version 1.0.0.

[00:01:40] And we'll get into that why if you're new to the internet and SCPs.

[00:01:46] We'll dive into that into our episode, but yeah.

[00:01:49] I'm not new to the internet thing.

[00:01:50] I've been around the internet.

[00:01:51] I didn't know.

[00:01:52] Have you never heard?

[00:01:52] Okay, maybe I'm just a little bit more internet savvy because like I've definitely heard about this SCP

[00:01:57] before I even read the entry.

[00:02:00] Fair enough.

[00:02:02] Through like various like forums and and like other people that are in other circles on the internet and stuff like that.

[00:02:08] I might also just live under a rock on the internet.

[00:02:11] It's fair.

[00:02:12] But yes, so we're covering SCP-1471.

[00:02:15] It was according to the entry history logs.

[00:02:19] It was created by LurkD on SCP-Wiki.wiki.com.

[00:02:26] I think the website.

[00:02:27] Otherwise known as the SCP Foundation website.

[00:02:31] And yeah, before we dive too far into it, let's give our initial recommendations.

[00:02:36] I'm going to recommend it.

[00:02:37] I'm going to partially recommend it.

[00:02:41] I'll recommend it.

[00:02:42] All right.

[00:02:44] Well, let's dive in and find out exactly why we gave those recommendations and see where we go from there.

[00:02:49] So starting with the rundown.

[00:02:51] SCP-1471 is a free to download app for mobile devices that when interacted with and exposed to for enough period of time,

[00:03:00] connects the user anomalously with an entity known as SCP-1471-A.

[00:03:07] Though it does have many personalized names depending on the user or the affected person.

[00:03:14] It may also be a group of entities or just one entity that everybody keeps naming based off the app.

[00:03:22] You see, apart from initial traumatization and the occasional self-harm and death of the user,

[00:03:30] this entity doesn't seek to actively harm the affected individuals.

[00:03:34] They merely stalk around the person's peripheral.

[00:03:38] Apparently, the user is the only one who can see it when they're exposed to it and such.

[00:03:44] Initially, this is through reflections and visual medium.

[00:03:49] But then, eventually, as the exposure gets more and more and becomes more permanent,

[00:03:56] it just starts hopping into their normal vision, getting closer and closer to them.

[00:04:01] The creature itself is a dark-furred humanoid with a wolf-like skull face,

[00:04:08] pale blank eyes in the eye sockets,

[00:04:10] a mane of equally black hair, and sharp claws.

[00:04:15] But despite this, it seems to have no intention of harming.

[00:04:21] Based on the description from the App Store,

[00:04:24] it seems that Mallow, the name of the app,

[00:04:27] is just trying to help people with loneliness.

[00:04:31] Assumingly, like, connecting them to this thing that will never leave them.

[00:04:35] That's always around them.

[00:04:37] Um, the Foundation is working to contain and store affected phones

[00:04:42] and monitor and remove the app from online stores.

[00:04:45] Though, apparently, once a person is exposed for more than about 90 hours,

[00:04:50] they are permanently stuck having SCP-1471-A in their lives and vision.

[00:04:57] Uh, there is a story linked into this entry which covers first contact

[00:05:02] and the experience of living with SCP-1471-A, or Capone,

[00:05:08] by, uh, a person named William,

[00:05:10] and how it affected his and his sister's life

[00:05:13] when they checked out the app for the first time.

[00:05:17] That's about it. That's Finn.

[00:05:21] So, I suppose we shall now move on to

[00:05:25] number one, taller Instagram inquisitions,

[00:05:28] at this point.

[00:05:30] So I've got a couple, um, mostly from the story,

[00:05:33] uh, which is titled Capone.

[00:05:35] Um, so I'll start with this one here.

[00:05:38] She kept asking questions about Capone.

[00:05:41] Things like if I saw him,

[00:05:43] or if I received any photos from him with me in the images.

[00:05:48] I haven't checked anything from today,

[00:05:51] but when I checked, there were two.

[00:05:53] I remembered exactly when and where those messages were taken,

[00:05:58] because during them,

[00:05:59] I made a mental note that I got some texts from Capone.

[00:06:03] They've been sent as soon as they've been taken.

[00:06:08] So, this is kind of a doubleheader.

[00:06:10] Uh, first off, a tense talk.

[00:06:11] There are a few instances,

[00:06:12] and this isn't, this isn't an isolated incident.

[00:06:14] There are other instances in the story that,

[00:06:16] that, uh, that have this situation.

[00:06:18] But again, it's like a situation of, um,

[00:06:22] uh, past and present tenses being mixed together

[00:06:24] in the sentences.

[00:06:27] Um, now...

[00:06:28] Present together.

[00:06:31] Oh.

[00:06:32] But that's bad.

[00:06:32] Yeah, it's bad.

[00:06:33] Yeah.

[00:06:34] However, actually, devil's advocate here.

[00:06:36] Um, it could be argued that this makes this part more,

[00:06:41] the story more immersive.

[00:06:43] Um, because William here is just a patient

[00:06:46] who's been told to write down this event

[00:06:49] and this, like, this occurrence by his therapist.

[00:06:52] And so, he's not necessarily a professional writer,

[00:06:56] and therefore would not know or even care

[00:06:58] about that kind of grammar situation.

[00:07:00] So, he's like, what, 18 or something?

[00:07:02] Uh, yeah, something like that.

[00:07:04] Like, in his, like, early 20s, the latest.

[00:07:06] So.

[00:07:07] Um.

[00:07:08] Um, so yeah, like, that, it's sort of, uh,

[00:07:12] there, it's a few hiccups in, like, this, uh,

[00:07:14] that it's, it's sort of, like, it kind of bugs me,

[00:07:17] but at the same time, it works for the story

[00:07:19] because, like, getting in the headspace of William,

[00:07:22] he's not a writer.

[00:07:24] Like, he's just, he's just been told to write this down,

[00:07:26] like, in a journal sort of thing.

[00:07:28] Um.

[00:07:29] That said, there are some other hiccups in the story

[00:07:31] that I, I noticed and kind of bugged me,

[00:07:34] so I'm gonna cover those as well,

[00:07:35] despite the, like, it's the way the character writes.

[00:07:38] Yeah.

[00:07:39] So, move on to the next thing here.

[00:07:42] Uh, oh, yeah, actually, speaking of, um,

[00:07:44] uh, the other, the other side of this,

[00:07:46] this, uh, quote that I gave.

[00:07:47] Um, so it says, um,

[00:07:50] uh, they've been sent as soon as they've been taken.

[00:07:56] So I really feel like that should have been,

[00:07:57] they, they'd been sent as soon as they were taken

[00:08:02] or they had been taken.

[00:08:03] So, like, the they've should be they'd.

[00:08:06] Yeah.

[00:08:07] Yeah.

[00:08:08] And maybe specify the pictures

[00:08:11] as opposed to saying they and they.

[00:08:15] Yeah.

[00:08:15] It was just talking about the pictures, though, wasn't it?

[00:08:17] Yeah, it was just, yeah,

[00:08:18] I was literally just mentioning, uh,

[00:08:20] but I understand where Mikey's coming from.

[00:08:23] Like, it's sort of, for sure.

[00:08:24] You want to, yeah, you want to, like,

[00:08:25] have that connection.

[00:08:28] But onto the next quote I have, um,

[00:08:31] Sarah froze and stared at me

[00:08:32] as if to say, don't look at it.

[00:08:35] If I didn't,

[00:08:36] I could have had a semi-normal life right now.

[00:08:40] It would have been over the news within the week

[00:08:43] and we would have been,

[00:08:44] and we would have known.

[00:08:46] Dot, dot, dot.

[00:08:47] So this, the ending part of this,

[00:08:48] kind of confused me.

[00:08:50] So I, I tried to fix it away.

[00:08:52] Like, I think this is how you should have,

[00:08:54] how it should have really kind of gone.

[00:08:55] It's like, um,

[00:08:56] it would have been over

[00:08:57] and old news within the week

[00:08:59] and we wouldn't have known.

[00:09:01] Dot, dot, dot.

[00:09:03] Like, unless it's,

[00:09:04] unless it's supposed to be

[00:09:05] foreshadowing Sarah's death,

[00:09:06] which comes later in the story,

[00:09:08] but I don't think so.

[00:09:09] Because, like, oh, within a,

[00:09:10] I don't think she died within a week

[00:09:11] of the, of these incidents.

[00:09:13] I think some other,

[00:09:14] more time passed before that happened.

[00:09:16] Yeah.

[00:09:17] Um, but yeah,

[00:09:19] it was just, look,

[00:09:20] the way it's like,

[00:09:20] like, uh,

[00:09:22] if I didn't,

[00:09:22] like, I could have had normal,

[00:09:24] semi-normal life right now.

[00:09:25] I, it would have been over the news

[00:09:28] within the week.

[00:09:29] What?

[00:09:30] Like, that just seemed really confusing to me.

[00:09:32] Like, is it supposed to,

[00:09:33] it might've popped up on the news

[00:09:34] and like everybody's problem.

[00:09:38] Yeah.

[00:09:38] That sounds like it's like,

[00:09:39] oh, it would have been good

[00:09:40] if that happened,

[00:09:41] but that would have been bad

[00:09:42] if that happened.

[00:09:42] Yeah.

[00:09:43] Yeah.

[00:09:44] And then like,

[00:09:45] and we would have known,

[00:09:46] like, what would you have known?

[00:09:47] Like, is that,

[00:09:48] yeah, I, I,

[00:09:49] I think the way I've,

[00:09:50] um, I put it kind of fixes the problem,

[00:09:52] but yeah.

[00:09:56] And my next one,

[00:09:57] and my,

[00:09:57] actually my last one for,

[00:09:58] for grammar inquisition is this one.

[00:10:01] I was more concerned about

[00:10:02] trying to calm her down

[00:10:03] by telling her that maybe

[00:10:05] they weren't really there.

[00:10:07] Then I was about,

[00:10:09] then I was about seeing Capone

[00:10:11] in the mirror.

[00:10:12] So again,

[00:10:12] this is like another one

[00:10:13] where like the ending's

[00:10:14] kind of like weirdly fumbled.

[00:10:15] So I,

[00:10:16] I fixed it in the way

[00:10:17] I think it should go.

[00:10:19] Um,

[00:10:20] and it,

[00:10:20] so it's like,

[00:10:21] um,

[00:10:21] calmed her down

[00:10:22] by telling her that

[00:10:23] maybe they weren't really there

[00:10:25] comma when I saw Capone

[00:10:28] in the mirror,

[00:10:29] like he was more concerned

[00:10:31] about telling,

[00:10:31] about trying to,

[00:10:32] uh,

[00:10:33] calm her down

[00:10:34] when he saw it,

[00:10:35] when he saw Capone

[00:10:36] in the mirror.

[00:10:37] But that's,

[00:10:38] that's about it.

[00:10:39] That's all I got

[00:10:39] for,

[00:10:40] for grammar inquisition.

[00:10:41] So,

[00:10:42] Mikey,

[00:10:43] these stands for evil.

[00:10:44] Uh,

[00:10:44] I have extension junction

[00:10:46] for the story portion.

[00:10:47] All right.

[00:10:49] And next stop,

[00:10:50] conjunction junction.

[00:10:51] Doot doot.

[00:10:52] It happened just as you told me.

[00:10:54] The messages,

[00:10:55] the pictures,

[00:10:56] seeing him around

[00:10:57] every corner afterwards.

[00:10:59] It wasn't like it was

[00:11:02] going to go away,

[00:11:03] no matter how much

[00:11:05] he begged

[00:11:06] or pleaded

[00:11:07] or attempted to bribe.

[00:11:09] It's not even

[00:11:11] that I'm afraid of him anymore.

[00:11:14] It's the,

[00:11:15] just the bad

[00:11:17] connotations he has,

[00:11:20] William rebutted.

[00:11:23] It wasn't too long

[00:11:26] a drive from the doctor's office

[00:11:28] to home.

[00:11:30] It looked innocent

[00:11:31] in its own alien way,

[00:11:34] waving to William

[00:11:35] as he saw it.

[00:11:37] It seemed to listen

[00:11:39] when he talked

[00:11:40] and after a while

[00:11:41] he could swear

[00:11:42] that it understood.

[00:11:45] It's hard to tell

[00:11:47] with a face like that.

[00:11:49] So,

[00:11:50] all there were

[00:11:52] to go by

[00:11:54] were various

[00:11:56] head tilts

[00:11:57] and waves

[00:11:58] and even then

[00:11:59] he had to teach it

[00:12:01] how to wave.

[00:12:03] It didn't seem

[00:12:05] that weird.

[00:12:07] It was obvious

[00:12:08] that my phone

[00:12:09] didn't have

[00:12:10] any kind of GPS

[00:12:12] but neither of us

[00:12:13] had even thought

[00:12:14] about it

[00:12:15] until much,

[00:12:16] much later.

[00:12:18] It is

[00:12:19] too cute.

[00:12:22] It was just

[00:12:23] the sheer wrongness

[00:12:24] of that statement

[00:12:25] that made me

[00:12:27] listen

[00:12:27] to the next.

[00:12:30] It appeared

[00:12:31] that getting

[00:12:32] a photo

[00:12:33] every now and then

[00:12:35] was the extent

[00:12:36] this was going

[00:12:37] to go to

[00:12:38] and looking at it

[00:12:40] in hindsight,

[00:12:41] I probably would have

[00:12:43] kept it on

[00:12:43] for next

[00:12:45] to nothing

[00:12:46] if she really

[00:12:47] wanted me to.

[00:12:48] So,

[00:12:49] I agreed.

[00:12:51] It was intended

[00:12:53] as a reminder

[00:12:54] that I shouldn't

[00:12:55] be making

[00:12:56] the same mistake.

[00:12:58] It wasn't

[00:12:59] until the

[00:13:01] third or

[00:13:02] fourth day

[00:13:03] when I got

[00:13:04] called in

[00:13:05] from class.

[00:13:07] It would have

[00:13:08] been over

[00:13:09] the news

[00:13:10] within the week

[00:13:11] and we would

[00:13:12] have known.

[00:13:13] But,

[00:13:15] I did it.

[00:13:17] And,

[00:13:18] there we were,

[00:13:20] just sitting there,

[00:13:22] with that

[00:13:23] fear-stricken

[00:13:24] look on our face.

[00:13:26] It was

[00:13:27] almost

[00:13:28] four hours

[00:13:29] since William

[00:13:30] started writing,

[00:13:32] but he almost

[00:13:33] felt relieved.

[00:13:35] But,

[00:13:36] then again,

[00:13:38] how would I

[00:13:39] have known?

[00:13:40] It would make

[00:13:42] so much sense

[00:13:43] if some

[00:13:44] physical thing

[00:13:45] was to blame,

[00:13:46] but there's none

[00:13:48] that I can

[00:13:49] legitimately find.

[00:13:51] None

[00:13:52] of the

[00:13:53] mal-OS

[00:13:54] none

[00:13:55] on me

[00:13:56] just

[00:13:56] on chance.

[00:13:59] Finn.

[00:14:01] Wow.

[00:14:02] That's,

[00:14:03] like,

[00:14:05] you basically,

[00:14:06] like,

[00:14:06] it,

[00:14:07] it,

[00:14:07] it almost works

[00:14:08] as a story on its own,

[00:14:09] like that.

[00:14:10] Because,

[00:14:10] like,

[00:14:11] you're always,

[00:14:12] the entire story,

[00:14:13] you're like,

[00:14:13] what is the thing

[00:14:14] that's,

[00:14:15] like,

[00:14:15] they're seeing?

[00:14:15] Because you never,

[00:14:16] like,

[00:14:16] reference Capone or anything

[00:14:17] like that.

[00:14:17] You just,

[00:14:18] it's just,

[00:14:18] like,

[00:14:19] there's something

[00:14:20] that is

[00:14:21] watching

[00:14:22] William and his

[00:14:23] sister.

[00:14:25] That's cute,

[00:14:26] and he,

[00:14:26] like,

[00:14:26] has to put up with it,

[00:14:27] and you put up with it

[00:14:28] regardless.

[00:14:29] Yeah,

[00:14:29] and it,

[00:14:30] and,

[00:14:30] like,

[00:14:31] and it's almost,

[00:14:31] like,

[00:14:31] a nicer ending,

[00:14:32] because,

[00:14:32] like,

[00:14:33] there's no mention

[00:14:33] of the sister dying.

[00:14:35] So,

[00:14:35] like,

[00:14:35] it's just,

[00:14:36] like,

[00:14:36] there's nothing to blame.

[00:14:42] I was really waiting

[00:14:42] for,

[00:14:43] like,

[00:14:43] the,

[00:14:43] for the,

[00:14:43] for,

[00:14:44] for,

[00:14:45] for the ball to drop,

[00:14:46] and they get,

[00:14:47] like,

[00:14:47] it was something,

[00:14:49] like,

[00:14:49] like,

[00:14:49] it was a squirrel moment,

[00:14:50] like,

[00:14:52] but we never got that,

[00:14:53] but it was just,

[00:14:54] like,

[00:14:54] no,

[00:14:54] that's almost,

[00:14:55] like,

[00:14:55] a more succinct version

[00:14:56] of the set of the story.

[00:15:00] Which is what we sometimes get

[00:15:01] when Mikey grabs a bunch of sentences

[00:15:02] throughout the story

[00:15:03] to start with words

[00:15:04] that they probably shouldn't,

[00:15:05] like,

[00:15:05] it's ins or buts,

[00:15:06] because there's always better words to use.

[00:15:10] All right.

[00:15:11] And next up,

[00:15:12] we have the grammar in yellow.

[00:15:15] We do,

[00:15:16] sort of,

[00:15:16] a couple.

[00:15:19] Early on,

[00:15:20] it says,

[00:15:20] 1471-A appears as a large humanoid figure

[00:15:23] with a canid-like skull

[00:15:25] and black hair.

[00:15:27] Yep.

[00:15:27] So,

[00:15:28] for me,

[00:15:29] when I hear a humanoid

[00:15:31] described with,

[00:15:31] quote-unquote,

[00:15:32] hair,

[00:15:32] I think of it being human-like,

[00:15:34] as in the hair is only on the head,

[00:15:36] primarily.

[00:15:37] But,

[00:15:38] like,

[00:15:38] this is all over,

[00:15:39] so it's fur,

[00:15:41] right?

[00:15:42] Um,

[00:15:42] on the,

[00:15:43] if it was all on the body,

[00:15:44] yes,

[00:15:44] it would be fur,

[00:15:45] and then if there's reference of,

[00:15:46] like,

[00:15:46] black hair,

[00:15:47] yeah,

[00:15:47] I see what you mean.

[00:15:48] Like,

[00:15:49] yeah,

[00:15:49] and that's,

[00:15:50] like,

[00:15:50] on the main one.

[00:15:51] That's not in the story.

[00:15:52] That's,

[00:15:52] yeah.

[00:15:54] So,

[00:15:54] that's where it should be

[00:15:55] the most specific

[00:15:57] and technical.

[00:15:58] Yeah,

[00:15:59] like,

[00:15:59] it definitely should be,

[00:15:59] like,

[00:15:59] appears,

[00:16:00] like,

[00:16:00] as a large figure,

[00:16:01] humanoid figure

[00:16:02] with black fur

[00:16:03] with a canid-like skull

[00:16:05] and black hair.

[00:16:06] Uh,

[00:16:07] yeah.

[00:16:08] They don't need fur and hair,

[00:16:09] they do the same thing.

[00:16:10] Well,

[00:16:11] hair is actually different from fur.

[00:16:13] Is it?

[00:16:14] yeah.

[00:16:15] Enlighten me.

[00:16:16] Seriously look up.

[00:16:18] Fur and hair.

[00:16:19] I'm sweating.

[00:16:20] I know,

[00:16:21] I know there is a difference.

[00:16:22] Um,

[00:16:22] I think,

[00:16:23] yeah,

[00:16:23] yeah,

[00:16:23] here,

[00:16:23] yeah,

[00:16:23] it's,

[00:16:24] it's,

[00:16:24] um,

[00:16:25] uh,

[00:16:25] the main difference between

[00:16:26] hair and fur is how they grow,

[00:16:28] uh,

[00:16:29] and,

[00:16:29] uh,

[00:16:29] but they are both,

[00:16:30] they're both,

[00:16:31] they're both made of the same,

[00:16:32] but,

[00:16:32] like,

[00:16:32] they both,

[00:16:33] it depends on the growth,

[00:16:34] basically.

[00:16:35] Like,

[00:16:35] hair grows continuously

[00:16:37] and can keep growing

[00:16:39] until its cutter breaks,

[00:16:41] whereas fur grows to a certain length

[00:16:43] and stops.

[00:16:44] Um,

[00:16:45] that's,

[00:16:45] that's the big one.

[00:16:46] Okay,

[00:16:47] do you really think Mallow

[00:16:49] cuts their hair all over their body?

[00:16:51] Gets it trimmed?

[00:16:52] I'm not,

[00:16:53] I mean,

[00:16:53] like,

[00:16:54] I,

[00:16:54] I'm referencing in that,

[00:16:55] like,

[00:16:55] I think,

[00:16:55] like,

[00:16:56] it has black fur

[00:16:57] because,

[00:16:57] like,

[00:16:57] that's all the descriptions.

[00:16:59] Even in the story,

[00:16:59] we kind of get that.

[00:17:00] But then I also think,

[00:17:01] because in the story,

[00:17:02] I think we get a description of it,

[00:17:03] of it having hair,

[00:17:04] and,

[00:17:04] like,

[00:17:04] even in the photo,

[00:17:05] we do see that it has,

[00:17:06] like,

[00:17:06] it looks like it has longer hair

[00:17:08] on its head.

[00:17:10] Um,

[00:17:11] so,

[00:17:11] like,

[00:17:11] it does have fur,

[00:17:12] but it also has hair.

[00:17:15] I don't know,

[00:17:15] man,

[00:17:15] have you seen,

[00:17:16] like,

[00:17:16] long-haired animals?

[00:17:18] Yeah,

[00:17:19] like,

[00:17:19] again,

[00:17:20] like,

[00:17:20] like a mane on,

[00:17:21] like,

[00:17:21] an animal is actually a hair,

[00:17:22] not fur.

[00:17:23] I,

[00:17:24] I guess.

[00:17:24] Yeah.

[00:17:25] Fine.

[00:17:26] But I,

[00:17:27] I'm kind of agreeing with you,

[00:17:27] like,

[00:17:28] it should,

[00:17:28] it should be,

[00:17:29] like,

[00:17:29] it should be,

[00:17:29] that should also be added to the,

[00:17:31] um,

[00:17:31] the description in the entry,

[00:17:32] if that is the case.

[00:17:33] Because,

[00:17:34] like,

[00:17:34] every depiction I've seen of,

[00:17:36] of 1471A is,

[00:17:39] uh,

[00:17:39] they are completely covered in black fur,

[00:17:40] and they have a long,

[00:17:42] they have long black hair on their head.

[00:17:44] So.

[00:17:45] Okay,

[00:17:45] so it's both.

[00:17:47] Yeah.

[00:17:47] But it doesn't say both.

[00:17:48] Okay,

[00:17:48] fair enough.

[00:17:49] And you even see that in the image that's in the entries,

[00:17:52] like,

[00:17:52] it has,

[00:17:53] it clearly has,

[00:17:53] like,

[00:17:54] a dark,

[00:17:55] like,

[00:17:55] dark body fur,

[00:17:56] and then it has,

[00:17:56] like,

[00:17:57] you can see,

[00:17:57] like,

[00:17:57] the stringy long black hair on,

[00:17:59] uh,

[00:17:59] on the head and stuff,

[00:18:00] so.

[00:18:02] It should,

[00:18:02] like,

[00:18:02] say mane or something.

[00:18:04] Black fur with a mane.

[00:18:05] Because it is,

[00:18:05] like,

[00:18:06] animalistic.

[00:18:07] Yeah.

[00:18:09] But,

[00:18:10] anyway,

[00:18:10] moving on.

[00:18:11] The only other one is,

[00:18:12] uh,

[00:18:12] in the,

[00:18:13] uh,

[00:18:14] Capone side story.

[00:18:17] Uh,

[00:18:18] this was brought up,

[00:18:18] but I don't think you brought up for this reason.

[00:18:21] Okay.

[00:18:22] Um,

[00:18:23] I was more concerned about trying to calm her down by telling her that maybe they weren't really there.

[00:18:28] Then I was about to see Capone in the mirror.

[00:18:31] Yeah,

[00:18:31] yeah.

[00:18:32] You could,

[00:18:33] did you catch that?

[00:18:34] Uh,

[00:18:34] the,

[00:18:34] that,

[00:18:35] like,

[00:18:35] the part where it says,

[00:18:36] like,

[00:18:37] um,

[00:18:38] they weren't really there then?

[00:18:39] Yeah,

[00:18:40] I think I tried to fix that,

[00:18:41] uh,

[00:18:41] in my notes.

[00:18:43] Uh,

[00:18:43] hang on,

[00:18:43] we'll pull up my shit here.

[00:18:46] Um,

[00:18:47] yeah,

[00:18:47] like,

[00:18:48] I think it should have been,

[00:18:48] like,

[00:18:49] um,

[00:18:51] uh,

[00:18:51] I was more concerned about trying to calm her down by telling her that maybe they weren't really there,

[00:18:57] comma,

[00:18:58] when I saw Capone in the mirror myself.

[00:19:00] So you did go over that?

[00:19:01] Yeah,

[00:19:02] I did try to fix that.

[00:19:02] Yeah.

[00:19:03] Okay.

[00:19:03] Honestly,

[00:19:04] I think when you went over that,

[00:19:05] I might've been stuck on the whole news thing.

[00:19:07] Cause like,

[00:19:08] I read over that repeatedly being like,

[00:19:09] what the hell does that actually mean?

[00:19:12] Yeah.

[00:19:14] Okay.

[00:19:15] So just stricken that from the record.

[00:19:17] It's fine.

[00:19:18] I did actually add myself at the end there.

[00:19:20] Cause I,

[00:19:20] I didn't put that in my sentence.

[00:19:22] So fair enough.

[00:19:24] Yeah.

[00:19:24] So I properly clarified that.

[00:19:25] Yeah.

[00:19:25] It's just like these,

[00:19:26] it's like two instances like that news one.

[00:19:28] And then this one is like,

[00:19:29] what is,

[00:19:30] what?

[00:19:31] You double take on it.

[00:19:34] Yeah.

[00:19:35] I still don't really understand the news part.

[00:19:38] Yeah.

[00:19:38] Well,

[00:19:38] again,

[00:19:39] that's why like I added,

[00:19:40] like,

[00:19:40] it's like,

[00:19:40] it would be,

[00:19:40] uh,

[00:19:41] it would,

[00:19:41] it would have been over and old news within a week.

[00:19:44] Like,

[00:19:45] like,

[00:19:45] cause they would have forgotten it.

[00:19:46] Like within a week,

[00:19:47] if they hadn't looked it up kind of thing.

[00:19:49] Sound of it almost seems like if they didn't look at it,

[00:19:53] then it would be all over the news.

[00:19:55] Like them not looking at it would have caused it to have exposure on the

[00:20:00] news,

[00:20:01] which doesn't make sense.

[00:20:02] Yeah.

[00:20:02] Although,

[00:20:03] yeah.

[00:20:03] Your correction is more correct though.

[00:20:05] Yeah.

[00:20:05] Like,

[00:20:05] I think I feel like mine's the better one,

[00:20:07] but like,

[00:20:08] cause yeah,

[00:20:08] like,

[00:20:09] like the way it kind of says in the story,

[00:20:11] we're apparently getting stuck on this.

[00:20:13] Um,

[00:20:13] is that like,

[00:20:14] um,

[00:20:15] if,

[00:20:16] if they didn't look at it,

[00:20:17] then it would become like the globes,

[00:20:19] like the world's problem.

[00:20:20] Because suddenly like this app would be on the news,

[00:20:22] uh,

[00:20:23] within a week and people like,

[00:20:25] oh,

[00:20:25] so many other people would have Capone in their lives.

[00:20:28] And then they'd have a semi normal life because like everyone would have

[00:20:31] Capone in their life.

[00:20:34] But why would that spread to the news?

[00:20:36] If they didn't look at the picture,

[00:20:37] it makes no sense.

[00:20:38] I know exactly.

[00:20:40] That's what I mean.

[00:20:41] It's very strange.

[00:20:42] Yeah.

[00:20:44] Yeah.

[00:20:44] Done with that.

[00:20:45] No more grammar.

[00:20:46] All right.

[00:20:47] On to actual thoughts.

[00:20:49] Uh,

[00:20:50] let's start with the photo.

[00:20:51] Ah,

[00:20:53] the image that awakened something in many a furry and launched,

[00:20:57] a million horny furry art pieces.

[00:21:01] Google image at your own risk is all I've got to say.

[00:21:06] Because of that.

[00:21:07] Yeah.

[00:21:08] Well that,

[00:21:09] and this entry in general,

[00:21:10] but like the image,

[00:21:11] because it gives you like a solid reference point.

[00:21:15] Uh huh.

[00:21:16] Well,

[00:21:16] yeah,

[00:21:16] like that image,

[00:21:17] like that is iconic in furry communities with that,

[00:21:22] that talk about SCPs because it is like,

[00:21:24] there was so much artwork.

[00:21:27] So much fan art of SCP 1471.

[00:21:30] A,

[00:21:33] um,

[00:21:33] I don't know if it is because of the art though.

[00:21:37] Like,

[00:21:39] okay,

[00:21:39] I'll give it,

[00:21:39] I'll briefly get into one of my notes here in regards to like,

[00:21:43] by the,

[00:21:43] the time I got to the end of the main story,

[00:21:46] I was like,

[00:21:47] cultists,

[00:21:47] you said this thing was like a sexy Digimon.

[00:21:49] I don't see any of that shit here.

[00:21:50] Uh,

[00:21:52] well,

[00:21:52] there's a photo.

[00:21:54] Yeah.

[00:21:55] Um,

[00:21:55] no,

[00:21:56] but I just,

[00:21:58] I don't see it.

[00:21:59] I,

[00:21:59] I don't think,

[00:22:01] okay.

[00:22:02] I understand that the image is tied to all this stuff because it's tied to a

[00:22:08] furry,

[00:22:08] like anthropomorphic creature,

[00:22:11] stuff like that.

[00:22:11] That's great.

[00:22:11] But I think the reason that people turned it sexy is not because of the image.

[00:22:18] It's because of the way it acts.

[00:22:21] It's,

[00:22:21] it's a buddy horror.

[00:22:23] I have that in my notes too.

[00:22:24] Yes.

[00:22:25] Yeah,

[00:22:25] of course.

[00:22:26] Absolutely.

[00:22:26] I also think that also helps,

[00:22:27] but I think the image as well,

[00:22:29] because like some people like,

[00:22:30] because again,

[00:22:30] artists are going to gravitate to like a reference point.

[00:22:33] And I'm not,

[00:22:34] I'm not saying like,

[00:22:35] Oh,

[00:22:35] this is a sexy image.

[00:22:36] I'm just saying like,

[00:22:37] because like you don't need an image to be like a reference,

[00:22:40] like an original image to be sexy for somebody to make,

[00:22:42] to,

[00:22:42] to rule 34 or rule 63.

[00:22:44] appropriate.

[00:22:45] So fair enough.

[00:22:47] Are you not aware of the internet rules,

[00:22:51] sir?

[00:22:51] I'm aware.

[00:22:52] I'm aware of the first one,

[00:22:53] not the second one.

[00:22:54] So rule 34,

[00:22:55] the internet is for porn.

[00:22:57] I like there.

[00:22:57] If there's a song about that,

[00:22:59] if it exists,

[00:23:00] yeah.

[00:23:00] Rule 34 is if it exists,

[00:23:02] there's porn of it.

[00:23:03] Of course.

[00:23:04] Rule 63 is,

[00:23:05] um,

[00:23:06] is basically,

[00:23:08] um,

[00:23:08] if,

[00:23:09] if there is porn of it,

[00:23:10] there is gender swapped versions of it.

[00:23:14] So like,

[00:23:15] yeah,

[00:23:15] like that's basically rule 63.

[00:23:17] Combo rules.

[00:23:18] Yeah.

[00:23:20] Combo breaker.

[00:23:22] Congrats.

[00:23:22] You've broken the internet.

[00:23:25] Uh,

[00:23:26] but yeah,

[00:23:26] like it just,

[00:23:27] yeah.

[00:23:28] Um,

[00:23:30] and actually I'm not even done with my,

[00:23:31] like my comments on the photo here,

[00:23:33] but,

[00:23:34] uh,

[00:23:34] I just like silliness aside,

[00:23:36] because that was,

[00:23:37] that was also actually supposed to be like critically silly.

[00:23:39] It was just like,

[00:23:39] ah,

[00:23:39] yes,

[00:23:40] the,

[00:23:40] the image,

[00:23:40] the image that awoke a lot of,

[00:23:42] uh,

[00:23:42] something in a lot of furries and also like with that skull face,

[00:23:46] but that's why I jumped on your throat a little bit about it because I don't feel the image did it.

[00:23:51] The story did it.

[00:23:53] I think it's a combination.

[00:23:54] I honestly think it could be a combination of both.

[00:23:56] Cause like there are people out there that love like skulls and shit like that.

[00:23:59] Like,

[00:24:00] Oh,

[00:24:00] fair enough.

[00:24:00] Yeah.

[00:24:00] Yeah.

[00:24:01] That's entirely fair.

[00:24:03] Like that's a kink for sure.

[00:24:05] Yes.

[00:24:06] Um,

[00:24:08] but yeah,

[00:24:08] silliness aside,

[00:24:09] I do love the composition of the photo,

[00:24:10] like both the photo and actually the monster.

[00:24:13] Um,

[00:24:14] it is sort of bordering on this like creepy and cute for me.

[00:24:17] Like it is sort of adorable,

[00:24:20] but also it is really creepy.

[00:24:22] Um,

[00:24:23] like,

[00:24:24] and,

[00:24:24] and again,

[00:24:24] like you step away from having like a tongue hanging out from the mouth.

[00:24:27] Exactly.

[00:24:28] Yeah.

[00:24:29] Yeah.

[00:24:30] Um,

[00:24:30] or even like a sultry tongue.

[00:24:33] Oh my God.

[00:24:35] Again,

[00:24:35] don't Google.

[00:24:36] Shouldn't be surprised at this point.

[00:24:37] Do not Google image.

[00:24:39] If you,

[00:24:40] if you want to stay innocent,

[00:24:41] do not Google images.

[00:24:43] SCP 1471 dash a,

[00:24:46] um,

[00:24:48] but yeah,

[00:24:48] like,

[00:24:49] yeah,

[00:24:50] like,

[00:24:50] but even like between the photo and like,

[00:24:52] in the story we get,

[00:24:53] like the description of what it does.

[00:24:54] And so yeah,

[00:24:54] it just wants to be friends.

[00:24:56] Um,

[00:24:57] but then like,

[00:24:58] oh,

[00:24:58] that is actually a kind of a creepy skull face.

[00:24:59] Like,

[00:25:00] that would be,

[00:25:01] that would be unnerving looking at that.

[00:25:03] Like,

[00:25:03] just like spotting that in your,

[00:25:05] in your,

[00:25:05] uh,

[00:25:05] rear view mirror or like,

[00:25:07] as you're passing a mirror and stuff like that,

[00:25:08] like for,

[00:25:09] for a while it would,

[00:25:10] it would be very unnerving until you got like acclimized to it.

[00:25:14] Acclimatized?

[00:25:15] Uh,

[00:25:16] yeah.

[00:25:16] Acclimatized.

[00:25:17] Acclimated?

[00:25:17] Yeah.

[00:25:18] Acclimated.

[00:25:18] Yeah.

[00:25:19] Sorry to grammar your speech.

[00:25:23] Yeah.

[00:25:23] It's the way the cultist talks.

[00:25:26] That's fair.

[00:25:27] You know,

[00:25:27] poorly.

[00:25:29] The dialect.

[00:25:30] Yeah.

[00:25:32] Um,

[00:25:33] but yeah,

[00:25:33] uh,

[00:25:34] that,

[00:25:34] that's all I got for the photo really.

[00:25:35] So,

[00:25:36] um,

[00:25:37] and then regarding the SCP entry itself,

[00:25:40] uh,

[00:25:40] honestly,

[00:25:41] I was kind of surprised how short and straightforward it was.

[00:25:45] Yeah.

[00:25:46] like it's,

[00:25:46] again,

[00:25:47] this is the,

[00:25:48] I,

[00:25:48] I,

[00:25:48] I have like,

[00:25:49] I had some,

[00:25:50] some bias kind of going into this because like,

[00:25:52] again,

[00:25:52] I've heard of the,

[00:25:52] the infamous 1471,

[00:25:55] the,

[00:25:55] the Mallow,

[00:25:56] um,

[00:25:57] app.

[00:25:57] Um,

[00:25:58] and then,

[00:25:58] so like I was expecting the,

[00:25:59] the,

[00:26:00] uh,

[00:26:00] the entry to be a little bit longer.

[00:26:01] And then like,

[00:26:02] it's just,

[00:26:02] it's very short and straightforward.

[00:26:04] Like it gets to the point and such.

[00:26:06] And thank God there is actually like,

[00:26:08] um,

[00:26:09] a story that is linked in this entry,

[00:26:12] like that you can read because that's,

[00:26:13] I feel like it would be lacking if it didn't have that story.

[00:26:16] Oh,

[00:26:17] I'm surprised because of how infamous it is.

[00:26:19] And because of the nature of it,

[00:26:22] it's a being that can attach to anyone's phone who downloads it.

[00:26:26] So there should be like tons of incident reports,

[00:26:31] right?

[00:26:32] Yeah.

[00:26:32] I w I was actually kind of hoping that I kind of wish there would be also

[00:26:36] like an instant,

[00:26:36] uh,

[00:26:37] even an incident report.

[00:26:37] I mean,

[00:26:38] again,

[00:26:38] like,

[00:26:38] like we look at,

[00:26:39] uh,

[00:26:39] the one thing,

[00:26:40] like last image received by SCP 1471,

[00:26:43] nine four zero five,

[00:26:45] nine four zero five is the number of the,

[00:26:47] phone that it was confiscated.

[00:26:49] That means they have nine,

[00:26:50] they have at least over 9,

[00:26:53] 4,

[00:26:53] hundred phone or,

[00:26:54] uh,

[00:26:54] phones in,

[00:26:55] in,

[00:26:55] in custody or in,

[00:26:57] in,

[00:26:57] uh,

[00:26:58] in lockup.

[00:27:01] Yeah.

[00:27:02] One reference,

[00:27:03] uh,

[00:27:04] incident report thing.

[00:27:06] Yeah.

[00:27:07] Maybe it's because like,

[00:27:08] they're all so similar.

[00:27:10] Cause like,

[00:27:11] it's the same thing all the time.

[00:27:12] It,

[00:27:12] it does the same sort of thing to people.

[00:27:14] Yeah.

[00:27:15] And they're just like,

[00:27:15] now that's why like the SCP,

[00:27:16] like the,

[00:27:17] um,

[00:27:17] both that's why it's both the Euclid class.

[00:27:19] And also like why the,

[00:27:20] the containment procedures is basically just,

[00:27:23] uh,

[00:27:25] like acquire these,

[00:27:26] these devices.

[00:27:27] And like,

[00:27:27] probably I'm kind of surprised.

[00:27:29] There's no like thing about like helping the people that are,

[00:27:31] are affected,

[00:27:31] like,

[00:27:32] um,

[00:27:33] sending that,

[00:27:33] like,

[00:27:34] cause I imagine the,

[00:27:35] cause in the story,

[00:27:35] like the guy's like talking to his therapist,

[00:27:37] like that therapist is definitely an SCP agent,

[00:27:41] but I'm surprised like that information is also in the containment

[00:27:45] procedures.

[00:27:45] And it was like,

[00:27:46] if,

[00:27:46] uh,

[00:27:48] like effective individual,

[00:27:50] any affected individuals would be,

[00:27:53] uh,

[00:27:53] monitored by SCP staff while.

[00:27:56] Yeah.

[00:27:57] Yeah.

[00:27:57] Yeah.

[00:27:58] Under the pretense of therapy or of a therapy.

[00:28:00] Yeah.

[00:28:00] Uh,

[00:28:00] yeah.

[00:28:01] Like I'm surprised that isn't there.

[00:28:02] Cause again,

[00:28:02] like it's not like a dangerous creature as far as we know,

[00:28:04] except for like,

[00:28:05] it does,

[00:28:05] it,

[00:28:05] there is some traumatization because of like,

[00:28:08] you think you're going nuts.

[00:28:09] Um,

[00:28:10] and so like you,

[00:28:11] some people can't handle that and they like do what Sarah did,

[00:28:14] but,

[00:28:14] um,

[00:28:15] then like,

[00:28:16] yeah,

[00:28:16] like I,

[00:28:17] it just felt like there should have been more in the entry.

[00:28:19] Like,

[00:28:20] again,

[00:28:20] like you said,

[00:28:20] like a documentation of like,

[00:28:22] even like,

[00:28:23] doesn't have to be a comprehensive,

[00:28:24] like a full list,

[00:28:25] but like a comprehensive list of instances and some of that,

[00:28:27] or even like where items were found and recovered and some of that,

[00:28:30] which I think would have been also really fun to play with.

[00:28:33] Like,

[00:28:33] uh,

[00:28:34] SCP 1471 dash,

[00:28:36] like 2587,

[00:28:39] found in Pasadena in like a guy's basement.

[00:28:43] Yeah.

[00:28:44] Acquired from,

[00:28:45] uh,

[00:28:46] from a,

[00:28:46] from a car that wrecked,

[00:28:48] uh,

[00:28:48] in,

[00:28:49] in,

[00:28:49] uh,

[00:28:49] Toledo or something like that.

[00:28:51] Like just something like that.

[00:28:56] 5,272 was found in the bottom of a lake,

[00:28:59] like stuff like that.

[00:29:00] Yeah.

[00:29:01] Cause somebody like,

[00:29:01] yeah,

[00:29:01] like some people are trying to get rid of them and stuff like that.

[00:29:04] Exactly.

[00:29:04] Yeah.

[00:29:05] That would have been really fun.

[00:29:06] I think.

[00:29:07] Or one was like burned to a crisp and like all these different things.

[00:29:09] Different types of ways that people have tried to deal with it without even,

[00:29:12] without directly saying,

[00:29:14] and like with through a whole story,

[00:29:16] how they dealt with it.

[00:29:17] Or like one was like,

[00:29:18] uh,

[00:29:18] SCP 1471 dash,

[00:29:20] uh,

[00:29:22] 10 or,

[00:29:23] uh,

[00:29:24] 140 found in a,

[00:29:25] uh,

[00:29:25] pawn shop or a,

[00:29:27] uh,

[00:29:27] a,

[00:29:27] uh,

[00:29:27] it found it up,

[00:29:28] found it a pawn shop in,

[00:29:29] uh,

[00:29:30] in,

[00:29:30] um,

[00:29:31] Windsor,

[00:29:31] Ontario.

[00:29:32] Yeah.

[00:29:33] Like some,

[00:29:34] like,

[00:29:34] yeah.

[00:29:34] Like somebody like just tried to sell their,

[00:29:35] like just pawn off their,

[00:29:37] uh,

[00:29:37] their phone to,

[00:29:38] and try and get rid of it that way.

[00:29:40] That would work or not.

[00:29:42] Um,

[00:29:42] yeah.

[00:29:43] Cause the clerk would then,

[00:29:44] cause like if,

[00:29:44] if the clerk,

[00:29:45] uh,

[00:29:45] the,

[00:29:45] uh,

[00:29:45] the people working at the pawn shop would probably start like seeing the

[00:29:48] things.

[00:29:48] They'd be checking the phone for,

[00:29:50] to make sure it was worth the selling.

[00:29:51] Right.

[00:29:52] Maybe.

[00:29:52] But like,

[00:29:53] if it's attached to the person,

[00:29:54] it might not have to do anything with the phone.

[00:29:58] Like it could just be you're attached.

[00:30:01] Okay.

[00:30:01] Well,

[00:30:01] I would have to send them messages though.

[00:30:04] Do you think that's why the phone is,

[00:30:06] why the phones are always being confiscated is because like they are kind of a

[00:30:09] spreading vector.

[00:30:10] Cause like the phone has the app,

[00:30:12] right?

[00:30:12] So like,

[00:30:12] and so it might even be that the app is like contagious to the person's.

[00:30:16] Yeah.

[00:30:16] What I was trying to actually get at because,

[00:30:18] but I was very poorly saying it was even if you,

[00:30:21] you gave the phone to someone else and they were checking the messages,

[00:30:25] they wouldn't be,

[00:30:26] I don't think they would be messages of the new person holding the phone.

[00:30:29] It would be of the old person.

[00:30:32] Cause it's still attached to the old person.

[00:30:34] Cause they initially downloaded it because it does,

[00:30:37] it doesn't take pictures through your phone camera.

[00:30:39] It does it through anomalous means.

[00:30:42] Yeah.

[00:30:43] Um,

[00:30:44] it just sends it to your phone camera.

[00:30:46] Yeah.

[00:30:46] But like the only way they'd be further,

[00:30:47] the,

[00:30:51] photos.

[00:30:52] Cause that's the thing.

[00:30:52] Like it's like,

[00:30:53] even if like that,

[00:30:54] the,

[00:30:55] I think like if that clerk starts looking at the images,

[00:30:57] then they start getting primed for it as well.

[00:31:02] Maybe it'd be,

[00:31:03] it'd be something worth adding into the story or into the entry to like show

[00:31:06] that that's also a situation.

[00:31:08] And again,

[00:31:08] that's why SCP,

[00:31:10] uh,

[00:31:10] the SCP is like collecting all these phones and like storing them or,

[00:31:14] or,

[00:31:15] um,

[00:31:15] or,

[00:31:16] uh,

[00:31:17] making,

[00:31:17] rendering them inoperative.

[00:31:18] So,

[00:31:20] but,

[00:31:20] uh,

[00:31:22] yeah.

[00:31:23] Um,

[00:31:24] again,

[00:31:24] it was sort of a,

[00:31:25] I must have more,

[00:31:26] like,

[00:31:26] I kind of wish there was more in the entry.

[00:31:28] Um,

[00:31:30] now I will say one thing about the entry.

[00:31:32] Why does it say by in the archival documents from like,

[00:31:37] that's pulled from the,

[00:31:38] uh,

[00:31:38] the like app store when it specifically stated that this app is free.

[00:31:45] Like it says,

[00:31:46] like you go see like the description and it says,

[00:31:48] bye.

[00:31:51] Like,

[00:31:51] shouldn't it say like download?

[00:31:54] Also,

[00:31:55] like,

[00:31:55] why does it even say that on the SCP is official documentation of it?

[00:31:59] Like why they'd be cheeky about it.

[00:32:01] Yeah.

[00:32:01] I mean,

[00:32:01] it obviously like out of,

[00:32:03] out of story,

[00:32:03] like out of Canon or out of,

[00:32:05] out of lore.

[00:32:06] Um,

[00:32:06] it's just a fun,

[00:32:08] cheeky way of,

[00:32:09] of linking to like the Capone story,

[00:32:11] but like it,

[00:32:13] it doesn't make sense because the,

[00:32:15] uh,

[00:32:15] based off the apps,

[00:32:16] like a situation,

[00:32:17] which says it's free.

[00:32:18] So like,

[00:32:18] shouldn't it be like try?

[00:32:21] But also like,

[00:32:22] yeah.

[00:32:22] Why is that?

[00:32:22] Why does that?

[00:32:23] I was also like,

[00:32:24] I,

[00:32:24] when I was all by computer,

[00:32:25] uh,

[00:32:25] like playing the,

[00:32:26] I was like,

[00:32:27] do I,

[00:32:28] do I click?

[00:32:28] Is this click?

[00:32:29] If I click this,

[00:32:29] is it going to take me to like a,

[00:32:30] like a flash game,

[00:32:33] which would have been so fucking hell.

[00:32:35] Yeah.

[00:32:35] Like,

[00:32:36] yeah.

[00:32:36] An absolutely.

[00:32:36] Yeah.

[00:32:36] Some kind of app store.

[00:32:37] Like that would have been really hella cool,

[00:32:39] honestly.

[00:32:39] But,

[00:32:40] um,

[00:32:42] cause I'm not going to lie.

[00:32:43] This is something I would,

[00:32:44] I should,

[00:32:44] I would actually not,

[00:32:45] I would not be,

[00:32:46] uh,

[00:32:47] this is not like the worst thing to get like infected with,

[00:32:50] honestly,

[00:32:51] when it comes to SCPs.

[00:32:53] Um,

[00:32:54] I would totally be down to have Mallow or,

[00:32:56] uh,

[00:32:57] have a,

[00:32:57] have a,

[00:32:57] uh,

[00:32:58] have a Capone entity in my life.

[00:33:02] But,

[00:33:02] uh,

[00:33:03] I digress.

[00:33:04] Assuming you could handle the sanity.

[00:33:06] Yeah.

[00:33:07] I think like,

[00:33:08] like,

[00:33:09] I mean,

[00:33:09] like,

[00:33:09] I think like initially it'd be like,

[00:33:12] God damn it.

[00:33:14] But like,

[00:33:15] I think that would be the most of it.

[00:33:16] Cause again,

[00:33:16] if it's not hurting you,

[00:33:17] if it's not like actively trying to attack you,

[00:33:19] I think like after a while,

[00:33:21] like assuming you get past that grace period,

[00:33:23] you just become buddies.

[00:33:26] Uh,

[00:33:27] and this kind of goes into something I have later in the story about the buddy

[00:33:29] horror aspect of it,

[00:33:30] but,

[00:33:31] um,

[00:33:33] yeah,

[00:33:33] I'll actually move on to the,

[00:33:34] the Capone story then.

[00:33:36] Um,

[00:33:38] so I got this one here at the very beginning.

[00:33:40] Uh,

[00:33:40] believe me,

[00:33:41] William,

[00:33:41] I know many people have reacted the same way.

[00:33:43] Fear is a more common reaction to the unknown than you'd think.

[00:33:47] Dr.

[00:33:48] Laura brains consoled him.

[00:33:51] Really?

[00:33:52] The therapist is named Dr.

[00:33:53] Brains,

[00:33:54] like pronounced brains.

[00:33:56] Uh,

[00:33:57] like that's,

[00:33:57] that's exactly how I read it.

[00:33:59] And like,

[00:34:00] it's,

[00:34:00] it's B R E Y N Z.

[00:34:03] And when I looked it up online to make sure I wasn't like,

[00:34:06] I was pronouncing it right.

[00:34:07] That is actually how,

[00:34:08] how,

[00:34:08] how online tends to pronounce it is brains.

[00:34:11] I was like a therapist named,

[00:34:13] named Dr.

[00:34:14] Brains.

[00:34:15] Well done,

[00:34:16] sir.

[00:34:16] Yeah.

[00:34:17] I mean,

[00:34:17] yeah,

[00:34:18] like,

[00:34:19] like I,

[00:34:20] I commend you.

[00:34:23] SCP,

[00:34:24] the foundation is a little on the nose,

[00:34:27] but assuming this therapist is for the,

[00:34:29] working for the foundation,

[00:34:30] which it kind of seems like they are,

[00:34:32] but like it's never mentioned properly.

[00:34:35] Yeah.

[00:34:36] Um,

[00:34:37] and then,

[00:34:38] yeah,

[00:34:38] going into,

[00:34:39] uh,

[00:34:40] uh,

[00:34:41] this creature's relationship with,

[00:34:43] um,

[00:34:43] with William.

[00:34:44] Um,

[00:34:45] we get this quote here.

[00:34:46] Uh,

[00:34:47] he always saw the creature through the rear view mirror when he drove riding in the back of the seat.

[00:34:51] It looked innocent in its own alien way,

[00:34:53] waving to William as he saw it.

[00:34:56] This,

[00:34:57] this right here is a fucking buddy whore.

[00:34:59] As we've stated,

[00:35:01] like monster,

[00:35:02] another childish things fodder.

[00:35:03] What?

[00:35:04] 100%.

[00:35:04] Like this is a,

[00:35:05] this is a monster.

[00:35:06] Like if William was a little bit younger,

[00:35:08] he'd be a monster kid.

[00:35:10] Like he'd be a kid with a monster friend.

[00:35:14] And that friend would be Capone.

[00:35:18] Um,

[00:35:19] but then I'll move on to the next thing here.

[00:35:21] This one,

[00:35:21] I think Mikey might be able to help clarify a little bit,

[00:35:23] but,

[00:35:24] uh,

[00:35:24] we'll,

[00:35:24] I'll get into it.

[00:35:25] Um,

[00:35:27] it was obvious that my phone didn't have any kind of GPS,

[00:35:30] but neither of us had even thought about it until much,

[00:35:34] much later.

[00:35:35] So it brings up this,

[00:35:37] it brings us up with like newer phones and how the app might work,

[00:35:41] where it,

[00:35:42] and like,

[00:35:44] like,

[00:35:45] like,

[00:35:45] like,

[00:35:45] we're not a mundane thing.

[00:35:47] Um,

[00:35:48] where it's like,

[00:35:49] uh,

[00:35:50] she had no idea how it does it,

[00:35:52] but hazarded that,

[00:35:54] I guess that it tracks you through your phone's GPS and sends you pictures of the places you've been with a really cute monster placed in the photo to make it look like it's following you.

[00:36:05] So first off,

[00:36:06] way to steal Mikey's mundane explanation story.

[00:36:09] Like,

[00:36:10] seriously,

[00:36:10] like,

[00:36:10] how dare you?

[00:36:13] Um,

[00:36:14] but,

[00:36:15] but also back on my point here,

[00:36:17] um,

[00:36:18] wait,

[00:36:18] I thought,

[00:36:19] uh,

[00:36:19] I thought flip phones did have some,

[00:36:21] I know they don't have GPS tracking specifically,

[00:36:23] like newer phones do kind of thing,

[00:36:25] but I know you can track phone data,

[00:36:28] like track that kind of data on,

[00:36:29] of old phones,

[00:36:30] like through a SIM card,

[00:36:31] right?

[00:36:32] Mikey.

[00:36:33] Um,

[00:36:35] well,

[00:36:36] your,

[00:36:37] uh,

[00:36:38] SIM cards has to connect to the cell tower.

[00:36:42] So it's sort of figures out where you are a rough,

[00:36:47] uh,

[00:36:48] location,

[00:36:48] but again,

[00:36:49] that's only if you're using it.

[00:36:51] Um,

[00:36:53] yeah.

[00:36:53] Okay.

[00:36:54] Do that.

[00:36:54] Always using their phones.

[00:36:56] Yeah.

[00:36:56] Well,

[00:36:57] but the thing is this,

[00:36:59] uh,

[00:37:00] phone,

[00:37:00] not having GPS,

[00:37:01] my mind went to it being a flip phone,

[00:37:04] which,

[00:37:04] yeah,

[00:37:05] it is.

[00:37:05] It is.

[00:37:06] Yeah.

[00:37:06] Yeah.

[00:37:07] And flip phones,

[00:37:08] um,

[00:37:10] from when I had a flip phone,

[00:37:11] uh,

[00:37:12] you could download very simple apps to them.

[00:37:17] Um,

[00:37:18] but yeah,

[00:37:20] it didn't,

[00:37:21] it was very bare bones otherwise.

[00:37:24] Okay.

[00:37:25] Yeah.

[00:37:26] Yeah.

[00:37:28] Yeah.

[00:37:28] I wonder if do modern flip phones have,

[00:37:30] uh,

[00:37:32] GPS and stuff in them,

[00:37:33] or are they literally just like nineties phones?

[00:37:35] I,

[00:37:36] I imagine they probably have like GPS and stuff like nowadays,

[00:37:40] just because like,

[00:37:41] that's such a well like application,

[00:37:42] but,

[00:37:43] but no,

[00:37:45] no,

[00:37:46] Uh,

[00:37:47] a lot of phones don't have GPS per se.

[00:37:51] Like,

[00:37:52] um,

[00:37:53] my phone,

[00:37:54] uh,

[00:37:55] I can use,

[00:37:57] uh,

[00:37:58] Google maps as a GPS.

[00:38:01] Um,

[00:38:02] but if I didn't use Google maps,

[00:38:07] the GPS functionality isn't there for the regular user.

[00:38:12] Okay.

[00:38:12] Okay.

[00:38:14] This is with a flip phone as well.

[00:38:16] No,

[00:38:17] no,

[00:38:17] it's not a flip phone.

[00:38:19] Um,

[00:38:20] but flip phones,

[00:38:21] I don't think have Google maps.

[00:38:25] I think that's intentional because the writer is wanting to say,

[00:38:29] it doesn't matter if the tech allows you to do it.

[00:38:33] Yeah.

[00:38:33] Cause yeah,

[00:38:34] normally as long as there is an app store on your phone,

[00:38:38] you can download it and get it.

[00:38:40] Yeah.

[00:38:41] Yeah.

[00:38:43] Yeah.

[00:38:43] And again,

[00:38:44] like that's like,

[00:38:44] they're trying to like,

[00:38:46] it,

[00:38:46] it,

[00:38:46] it almost gives you a mundane explanation for this,

[00:38:48] which actually honestly,

[00:38:49] like I kind of wish so.

[00:38:51] I kind of hope somebody out there like is working on a does like creates an app

[00:38:54] of some similar to this.

[00:38:56] Um,

[00:38:56] obviously,

[00:38:57] yeah,

[00:38:57] obviously not like to with the supernatural element,

[00:39:00] but just like a mundane,

[00:39:01] like a silly,

[00:39:01] like mock kind of thing,

[00:39:02] almost like how like they make games based off SCPs and stuff.

[00:39:05] Cause like,

[00:39:06] I think this would actually be a really cool,

[00:39:08] fun app.

[00:39:08] Like to have like this like monster,

[00:39:09] like just pop up it like that just is placed into photos.

[00:39:15] Um,

[00:39:17] but yeah,

[00:39:17] they'd be able to do it pretty well.

[00:39:19] Actually,

[00:39:19] as I was thinking the same thing.

[00:39:21] Yeah.

[00:39:22] Um,

[00:39:23] but yeah,

[00:39:23] it is interesting.

[00:39:24] Cause like I,

[00:39:25] I,

[00:39:25] again,

[00:39:26] it's been,

[00:39:26] it's been a while since I've,

[00:39:27] I've had a flip phone myself again,

[00:39:28] like I think probably like 10,

[00:39:30] 15 years,

[00:39:30] maybe 20.

[00:39:31] Um,

[00:39:33] and I,

[00:39:34] I've had a smartphone for so long.

[00:39:35] I forgot.

[00:39:36] Oh yeah.

[00:39:36] Phones didn't have GPSs or like they,

[00:39:38] they did just like bounce off of a cell towers,

[00:39:41] like their signal and some of that.

[00:39:42] So,

[00:39:44] um,

[00:39:46] but again,

[00:39:46] like,

[00:39:46] yeah,

[00:39:46] like you said,

[00:39:47] like they added this older phone to kind of show that,

[00:39:49] yeah,

[00:39:49] it doesn't matter.

[00:39:50] Your,

[00:39:50] your phone's getting,

[00:39:52] getting anomalized if,

[00:39:53] regardless of if it's an older phone or a new one,

[00:39:56] as long as it has an app store.

[00:39:58] Yeah.

[00:39:58] You're boned regardless.

[00:39:59] Yeah.

[00:40:00] Yeah.

[00:40:02] Um,

[00:40:03] Oh God.

[00:40:03] I just realized,

[00:40:05] uh,

[00:40:07] Mallow is,

[00:40:08] is the true bonehead of vulture gulf.

[00:40:10] Wow.

[00:40:12] It's skull face.

[00:40:14] Yeah,

[00:40:14] I get it.

[00:40:15] Give them one of the phones and then there'll be an actual bone.

[00:40:17] Oh my God.

[00:40:18] Yeah.

[00:40:19] That I'm sorry.

[00:40:20] Joey fuck nuts needs a new friend.

[00:40:23] Oh,

[00:40:25] you make legit friends.

[00:40:27] Bonehead,

[00:40:28] bonehead X bonehead.

[00:40:31] Uh,

[00:40:32] anyway,

[00:40:32] I'll,

[00:40:32] I'll move on to the next thing I have.

[00:40:35] Uh,

[00:40:36] so this is another,

[00:40:37] this is sort of like a,

[00:40:38] I think a plot hole,

[00:40:39] um,

[00:40:39] or like maybe like a miss read or something like that.

[00:40:42] Uh,

[00:40:42] but,

[00:40:43] uh,

[00:40:43] I'll,

[00:40:44] I'll,

[00:40:44] I'll just mention it here.

[00:40:45] So this is the quote.

[00:40:47] Um,

[00:40:48] let me make something clear though,

[00:40:50] because it seems to come up whenever I tell people this,

[00:40:53] I did not blame.

[00:40:54] I did not name my mallow Capone because of the incident with my parents.

[00:41:00] I didn't even know that mom and dad's arrest involved alcohol at the time.

[00:41:05] Didn't they say earlier that their parents died in the car crash?

[00:41:09] And then like,

[00:41:10] cause earlier we get this quote,

[00:41:11] I was too young to process it all when it happened,

[00:41:15] but mom and dad died from a head on collision with a drunk driver.

[00:41:20] So did they die in the car crash or were they arrested?

[00:41:23] Does it matter?

[00:41:25] No,

[00:41:26] but like,

[00:41:26] it's,

[00:41:26] it's,

[00:41:27] it's conflicting narrative.

[00:41:29] Like I,

[00:41:31] that's,

[00:41:31] that's what I mean.

[00:41:31] Like,

[00:41:32] like I didn't even know that mom and dad's arrest involved alcohol.

[00:41:36] Like at the time,

[00:41:37] like,

[00:41:37] should it have been mom and dad's like,

[00:41:40] or like I,

[00:41:42] they died.

[00:41:43] Yeah.

[00:41:44] Yeah.

[00:41:44] Like I said,

[00:41:44] the quote,

[00:41:45] the quote I found from earlier was like,

[00:41:47] um,

[00:41:47] uh,

[00:41:47] like their mom and dad died from a head on collision with a drunk driver.

[00:41:52] But then unless it's trying to say that,

[00:41:54] like,

[00:41:55] I didn't know that mom and dad's arrest involved alcohol at the time.

[00:41:59] Or maybe it's like,

[00:41:59] I didn't know that mom and dad's,

[00:42:01] um,

[00:42:03] what it might mean is killer.

[00:42:05] Mom and dad's arrest as in the arrest of the person that killed mom and dad.

[00:42:09] Yeah.

[00:42:09] I think that's what it might just be poorly worded.

[00:42:11] I think that might be the case.

[00:42:13] Honestly,

[00:42:13] it's like,

[00:42:13] it's,

[00:42:14] it's just not worded very well.

[00:42:18] Cause like,

[00:42:18] yeah,

[00:42:19] in,

[00:42:20] in lore,

[00:42:20] it's written by a high schooler.

[00:42:21] So it's fine.

[00:42:22] Yeah,

[00:42:22] exactly.

[00:42:22] Yeah.

[00:42:23] It's the way the,

[00:42:23] the way the writer writes,

[00:42:27] um,

[00:42:28] but yeah,

[00:42:29] I think that maybe it should be clarified or like,

[00:42:31] just again,

[00:42:32] if you want to leave it,

[00:42:33] I don't know,

[00:42:35] uh,

[00:42:35] for immersion's point of view,

[00:42:37] but it is a little confusing.

[00:42:37] It was a little confusing to me is all.

[00:42:41] Uh,

[00:42:41] and then we get the next thing here.

[00:42:42] Um,

[00:42:43] my case wasn't as severe as Sarah's.

[00:42:45] She was,

[00:42:46] she saw Cassandra everywhere.

[00:42:47] She looked around every corner,

[00:42:50] just out of sight over her while she slept.

[00:42:53] Sarah took her own life two years ago.

[00:42:55] And so I was honestly wondering when Sarah's tragedy was going to,

[00:43:00] uh,

[00:43:00] was going to be brought up because it seemed like throughout the story,

[00:43:05] um,

[00:43:06] it,

[00:43:06] to me,

[00:43:07] it seemed like it was hinting that like something bad had happened to Sarah

[00:43:09] outside of,

[00:43:10] because it says stuff like Sarah was this,

[00:43:13] Sarah was that.

[00:43:13] Yeah,

[00:43:14] exactly.

[00:43:14] So I was like,

[00:43:15] and it waited to like almost the last minute to basically tell us that like

[00:43:18] Sarah had like killed herself.

[00:43:20] Um,

[00:43:20] and honestly,

[00:43:21] this also like this whole,

[00:43:22] like what happened to her and so that also encapsulates pretty well.

[00:43:25] The horror side of buddy horror,

[00:43:27] like the human factor,

[00:43:29] not taking the buddy aspect very well.

[00:43:31] Um,

[00:43:32] either like fearful of the buddy or driven Matt by the,

[00:43:36] by the buddy's presence.

[00:43:37] Um,

[00:43:38] or even misunderstanding the buddy's intentions and perishing as a result of

[00:43:43] that,

[00:43:43] like either by accident or like,

[00:43:45] again,

[00:43:45] through self harm.

[00:43:46] Or the buddy misinterpreting what they should be doing around a human.

[00:43:52] What's exactly.

[00:43:53] Yeah.

[00:43:54] Yeah.

[00:43:54] There,

[00:43:54] there,

[00:43:55] that's,

[00:43:55] that's the aspect of,

[00:43:56] that's the horror element in buddy horror is the miscommunication between

[00:44:00] the two.

[00:44:03] Um,

[00:44:03] that,

[00:44:03] that's generally like,

[00:44:04] I think I find what I find like is,

[00:44:05] is a good aspect for like buddy horror is like,

[00:44:08] there can be like a buddy horror where like both sides are copacetic,

[00:44:11] but then like it's the outside world that's fears them or is afraid of

[00:44:14] them.

[00:44:14] And then there's the buddy horrors where it's like the monster just wants to

[00:44:17] be your friend,

[00:44:18] but you're terrible,

[00:44:19] but it doesn't know how to be,

[00:44:19] how to act around humans or the human is,

[00:44:22] is not comprehending.

[00:44:24] Yeah.

[00:44:25] the monster's intentions and therefore thinks that it is,

[00:44:27] uh,

[00:44:27] evil and,

[00:44:28] or like it's trying to hurt them and her ends up hurting themselves instead.

[00:44:31] Yeah.

[00:44:32] We're like a Tucker and Dale versus evil scenario where like,

[00:44:37] it's all,

[00:44:37] it's all just a misunderstanding.

[00:44:39] Yeah.

[00:44:41] I need to watch that movie again.

[00:44:43] It's so good.

[00:44:44] Yeah.

[00:44:46] Um,

[00:44:47] but yeah,

[00:44:48] that,

[00:44:48] that,

[00:44:49] that's one of the things that I thought like was brought up really well in the

[00:44:51] story is like that,

[00:44:52] the actual horror element of a buddy horror.

[00:44:55] Um,

[00:44:57] and the next thing I have is,

[00:45:00] he looked up to a,

[00:45:01] he looked up to the creature in the mirror from across the room for a few

[00:45:05] seconds as it gave the old familiar wave.

[00:45:08] William was silent for a minute,

[00:45:10] staring at Capone and then back to his papers.

[00:45:13] He felt the need to make one last point.

[00:45:17] I kind of point one last point.

[00:45:19] Yeah,

[00:45:20] sir.

[00:45:21] Um,

[00:45:22] I kind of think it would be really cool if rather than have this be a third

[00:45:28] person perspective story wrapping around William's rap or wrapping around

[00:45:33] William's,

[00:45:34] uh,

[00:45:34] write up of the,

[00:45:35] of the,

[00:45:36] of the,

[00:45:36] um,

[00:45:37] of his origin event,

[00:45:38] basically.

[00:45:38] Um,

[00:45:39] it's actually revealed that Cassandra,

[00:45:42] um,

[00:45:42] Sarah's Capone,

[00:45:44] uh,

[00:45:44] uh,

[00:45:45] has been telling that part of this story this whole time.

[00:45:47] Like she's been watching over William and Capone.

[00:45:50] Now that Sarah's gone,

[00:45:52] assuming again,

[00:45:52] that's also assuming that Cassandra and Capone are two individual entities and

[00:45:56] not like just the same entity.

[00:45:58] That's just named by different people.

[00:46:00] That's also assuming that they can communicate with us at all.

[00:46:04] That's true.

[00:46:04] Yeah.

[00:46:05] That is also assuming that.

[00:46:07] Um,

[00:46:08] but I just thought that might be interesting,

[00:46:09] like to have that as an idea for this rather than just have like a bland,

[00:46:12] not saying it's bland,

[00:46:13] but there's like,

[00:46:14] again,

[00:46:14] having this sort of third person perspective in the story,

[00:46:17] uh,

[00:46:17] of like basically,

[00:46:18] uh,

[00:46:18] uh,

[00:46:20] uh,

[00:46:20] uh,

[00:46:20] uh,

[00:46:20] um,

[00:46:20] an omnipresent narrator kind of narrating the,

[00:46:23] the wraparound bits of the,

[00:46:25] of the story.

[00:46:27] Like kind of go full on,

[00:46:29] like,

[00:46:29] go like a,

[00:46:29] go an extra layer deep in the immersion that this story is being told by

[00:46:34] another,

[00:46:35] by a character in the lore,

[00:46:37] but it feels like a third person perspective,

[00:46:39] but it's actually like,

[00:46:40] we actually know who the narrator is.

[00:46:42] Yeah.

[00:46:43] But it could be told by,

[00:46:45] uh,

[00:46:46] Dr.

[00:46:47] Brains.

[00:46:47] Oh yeah.

[00:46:48] Like me,

[00:46:48] or,

[00:46:48] or the SCP,

[00:46:49] like it could be like all surveillance,

[00:46:51] but like basically like how they're surveilling,

[00:46:52] uh,

[00:46:53] William at all times kind of thing.

[00:46:55] Yeah.

[00:46:56] That actually,

[00:46:56] I like that.

[00:46:56] That makes more sense for,

[00:46:58] um,

[00:46:58] uh,

[00:46:59] for like a foundation story is that like,

[00:47:01] this is actually all just like,

[00:47:03] again,

[00:47:03] the surveillance team,

[00:47:04] like monitoring William at all times.

[00:47:07] Um,

[00:47:09] and then my last quote here is,

[00:47:13] uh,

[00:47:14] I don't know who made the mallows or why.

[00:47:17] I don't even know if anyone actually made the app.

[00:47:21] Many things,

[00:47:22] or many things like it have been created naturally or have been given some kind of anomaly out of sheer chance.

[00:47:32] So I'm just going to like,

[00:47:33] as I was like reading this again,

[00:47:34] we may have been,

[00:47:35] may or may not have been checking and doing some shadow run stuff.

[00:47:38] Sorry,

[00:47:38] Mikey.

[00:47:39] Um,

[00:47:40] but I'm just looking at some free sprites and the ghost in the machine aspect of shadow run and all the weird anomalous cyber bullshit.

[00:47:47] And,

[00:47:48] uh,

[00:47:48] I'm just gonna take some notes here for some game fodder.

[00:47:51] Amen.

[00:47:52] Maybe they're gonna run into a sexy animal at some point.

[00:47:55] Yeah.

[00:47:55] Yeah.

[00:47:55] This could even be like a free spirit.

[00:47:57] That's like become internet savvy or like matrix savvy.

[00:48:00] Um,

[00:48:01] or like,

[00:48:02] you can use free spirit as in like nudist.

[00:48:05] Oh God.

[00:48:06] Yeah,

[00:48:07] exactly.

[00:48:08] That's a very free spirit.

[00:48:10] Yeah.

[00:48:10] Honestly,

[00:48:10] this whole idea,

[00:48:11] like the whole entry and even like the story that we're provided here is very gameable material.

[00:48:16] Like I feel like you could draw a lot of inspiration from this for like shadow run,

[00:48:20] monster in the childish things,

[00:48:21] little fears,

[00:48:22] eclipse phase,

[00:48:23] the list kind of goes on and on.

[00:48:25] Like there,

[00:48:25] you could have this buddy horror situation or this like kind of,

[00:48:28] uh,

[00:48:29] uh,

[00:48:29] virulent or memetic,

[00:48:30] uh,

[00:48:31] entity be in a bunch of different like scenarios or like using different systems,

[00:48:36] like gaming systems and such.

[00:48:38] Um,

[00:48:40] uh,

[00:48:40] like the horror aspect aside,

[00:48:42] um,

[00:48:42] the premise of an app on your phone that connects you to a monster would be great in

[00:48:47] monster.

[00:48:48] So the childish things as the origin for how you found your monster and how,

[00:48:52] even how the monster hides,

[00:48:54] like it hides in reflections or it hides in your phone.

[00:48:57] Um,

[00:48:57] and you,

[00:48:58] and like all you all,

[00:48:59] like basically the whole group of monster kids,

[00:49:00] like got their monsters by like finding this weird app on the store on like that was

[00:49:04] free on the store.

[00:49:05] Um,

[00:49:06] and now they all have monster kids.

[00:49:07] It's sort of like a,

[00:49:08] like a slightly weirder version of like Digimon,

[00:49:10] except like your phone is now your,

[00:49:12] your digital vice or your digivice as they call them in the show.

[00:49:15] They just call it digivice.

[00:49:17] Yeah.

[00:49:17] They call it a digivice.

[00:49:18] I think.

[00:49:19] Nice.

[00:49:20] Um,

[00:49:20] I know everything,

[00:49:21] everything,

[00:49:21] everything was Digimon.

[00:49:23] Everything was Digi insert,

[00:49:24] like Digi destined,

[00:49:25] Digi,

[00:49:26] uh,

[00:49:26] Digimon,

[00:49:27] Digivice.

[00:49:29] The Digivolve.

[00:49:30] Yeah.

[00:49:30] The Digivolve.

[00:49:31] The only thing that wasn't like,

[00:49:32] that actually we use like the full,

[00:49:33] like digital was the digital world.

[00:49:34] Like I'm surprised the Digi world wasn't what they called it.

[00:49:38] What they use the slang for.

[00:49:39] Only the cool kids said Digi world.

[00:49:41] Yeah,

[00:49:42] exactly.

[00:49:44] Uh,

[00:49:45] man.

[00:49:45] And then there's that Digimon rap that was like,

[00:49:47] they just,

[00:49:47] they,

[00:49:48] did you,

[00:49:48] like they,

[00:49:49] they,

[00:49:49] they've used Digi and like words that just make up words for the,

[00:49:52] for the rap.

[00:49:54] I can't,

[00:49:56] uh,

[00:49:57] or they just,

[00:49:58] actually,

[00:49:59] God damn it.

[00:50:00] Now I'm getting flashbacks to my nostalgia of like Digimon.

[00:50:05] Uh,

[00:50:06] although now I think about,

[00:50:07] yeah,

[00:50:07] no,

[00:50:08] like a Digimon themed monster of the week game or monster of the week game

[00:50:11] or monster of the challenges things game would work perfectly using this

[00:50:14] kind of idea of Malos.

[00:50:16] So,

[00:50:17] yeah,

[00:50:18] but,

[00:50:18] uh,

[00:50:19] yeah,

[00:50:19] that's,

[00:50:20] that's what I've got for this,

[00:50:21] uh,

[00:50:21] this entry in the story.

[00:50:22] So Mikey,

[00:50:23] these sense of reason.

[00:50:25] Um,

[00:50:26] well,

[00:50:27] um,

[00:50:29] I,

[00:50:29] my actual thought here is,

[00:50:32] um,

[00:50:34] this is,

[00:50:35] uh,

[00:50:36] very,

[00:50:37] uh,

[00:50:38] Santa Claus ish.

[00:50:40] Cause,

[00:50:41] uh,

[00:50:41] he sees you when you're sleeping and he knows when you're awake.

[00:50:45] Um,

[00:50:47] yeah,

[00:50:50] he knows when you've been,

[00:50:51] been to Best Buy.

[00:50:52] he knows when,

[00:50:56] um,

[00:50:59] yeah.

[00:51:00] So the,

[00:51:03] that was my main thought.

[00:51:06] And there's like the,

[00:51:08] this does turn into a buddy horror as we explain,

[00:51:12] cause he basically sees the,

[00:51:15] the creature.

[00:51:16] And I mean,

[00:51:20] it's basically,

[00:51:23] um,

[00:51:25] what people would have to deal with if they had to deal with hallucinations.

[00:51:31] But the,

[00:51:32] the difference is,

[00:51:33] is that the hallucinations don't normally move.

[00:51:37] So it waving,

[00:51:39] you know,

[00:51:40] this,

[00:51:40] this kind of reminds me of,

[00:51:42] um,

[00:51:42] I don't know if you guys have watched,

[00:51:43] seen it yet.

[00:51:44] Uh,

[00:51:44] it's,

[00:51:45] there's a sequel out for it already,

[00:51:46] but,

[00:51:46] uh,

[00:51:47] movie,

[00:51:47] I think last year,

[00:51:48] the year before it called smile.

[00:51:50] And the waiting at advertised.

[00:51:53] Yeah.

[00:51:53] Every time I turn my damn TV on,

[00:51:54] but no,

[00:51:55] I've not seen it.

[00:51:55] Okay.

[00:51:56] Honestly,

[00:51:56] the way the monster in that movie,

[00:51:57] like affects the person that like it,

[00:52:00] that's,

[00:52:01] uh,

[00:52:01] that's stuck with it or even like the movie,

[00:52:03] it follows.

[00:52:04] It's very similar to that.

[00:52:05] We're like the only one person is able to see the monster.

[00:52:09] Uh,

[00:52:10] basically the affected person is able to see the monster.

[00:52:12] Everyone else can't.

[00:52:13] And like it,

[00:52:14] in,

[00:52:14] in smile,

[00:52:15] it's a lot more like hazardous because it's trying actively trying to drive the user insane.

[00:52:23] Yeah.

[00:52:24] Whereas in this it's,

[00:52:25] it's,

[00:52:25] he's not,

[00:52:26] or he or she isn't hurting anybody.

[00:52:27] They're just,

[00:52:28] uh,

[00:52:28] they're just standing in the back.

[00:52:29] Uh,

[00:52:30] just like,

[00:52:30] they just want to hang out.

[00:52:31] They just want to be,

[00:52:32] be around the person.

[00:52:35] Like at no point is those claws to threaten or anything like that.

[00:52:38] Or like,

[00:52:39] uh,

[00:52:39] they just,

[00:52:39] they wave like,

[00:52:41] or like,

[00:52:41] yeah,

[00:52:42] it's like having like,

[00:52:43] Oh my God.

[00:52:43] It's like having like a,

[00:52:44] a,

[00:52:45] a memetic dog,

[00:52:47] like a dog that you can only,

[00:52:49] you can see.

[00:52:50] Yeah.

[00:52:51] Yeah.

[00:52:51] Or an imaginary friend.

[00:52:53] Yeah.

[00:52:53] That's,

[00:52:53] that's basically what it is.

[00:52:54] Oh my God.

[00:52:55] That's basically what it is.

[00:52:56] It's,

[00:52:56] it's just,

[00:52:57] it's an imaginary friend in the,

[00:52:59] in the digital age.

[00:53:02] Yeah,

[00:53:03] absolutely.

[00:53:04] Yeah.

[00:53:07] But yeah,

[00:53:08] like,

[00:53:08] yeah,

[00:53:08] it's basically like having,

[00:53:09] like,

[00:53:09] it definitely feels like it's like,

[00:53:11] like a person having hallucinations.

[00:53:12] Cause that's kind of what they're experiencing.

[00:53:16] And that's the very mundane route is that it's just a hallucination.

[00:53:20] Yeah.

[00:53:21] And,

[00:53:22] uh,

[00:53:23] there's no guarantee that everyone sees the same one.

[00:53:28] Yeah.

[00:53:28] Like they're like this,

[00:53:29] for some reason,

[00:53:30] this app triggers the,

[00:53:31] this sort of this hallucinate,

[00:53:33] this,

[00:53:33] uh,

[00:53:33] this hallucinatory psychosis.

[00:53:36] Uh,

[00:53:37] yeah.

[00:53:40] Even like opening up an app as well,

[00:53:42] which is even more weird.

[00:53:44] It's not like it,

[00:53:45] you download the app,

[00:53:46] you run it,

[00:53:46] and then it shows some strange thing on your screen and then it goes away and

[00:53:51] then you're infected.

[00:53:51] It's just,

[00:53:52] no,

[00:53:52] you download it.

[00:53:53] Now you're infected.

[00:53:54] Yeah.

[00:53:55] It's that seamless.

[00:53:58] Maybe it flashes something on the screen for like an imperceivable amount of

[00:54:02] time,

[00:54:03] but it's just enough to connect to you.

[00:54:06] Yeah.

[00:54:07] It's just weird.

[00:54:08] Or do you just downloading it is signing a contract with this demon or whatever it

[00:54:12] is?

[00:54:13] Yeah,

[00:54:13] exactly.

[00:54:14] All that.

[00:54:15] Also,

[00:54:15] yeah,

[00:54:15] it's like,

[00:54:16] yeah,

[00:54:16] it's free.

[00:54:17] You just need to,

[00:54:18] you just need to authorize this.

[00:54:20] And by authorizing,

[00:54:21] that's the,

[00:54:21] again,

[00:54:21] it's a digital pact.

[00:54:23] Like it's like a,

[00:54:24] like a demon,

[00:54:24] like a pact with a demon,

[00:54:25] but like for a digital age,

[00:54:27] it's like,

[00:54:27] that's how the demons are tricking people into like signing up packs.

[00:54:30] It's like,

[00:54:31] yeah,

[00:54:31] just,

[00:54:31] just download this app.

[00:54:32] You just,

[00:54:32] you'll have to authorize it.

[00:54:33] Oh,

[00:54:33] your author is cool.

[00:54:34] Uh,

[00:54:34] that's your,

[00:54:35] that's basically your shit.

[00:54:36] We can put anything we want in the terms of service.

[00:54:39] Who reads the terms of service?

[00:54:44] Only psychopaths read the terms of service.

[00:54:46] Right.

[00:54:47] Already on our side.

[00:54:53] But yeah,

[00:54:53] I do like that.

[00:54:55] Okay.

[00:54:56] That's my actual thoughts.

[00:54:58] All right.

[00:54:59] Gamer.

[00:54:59] So when you first told me about this SCP,

[00:55:03] before I even looked at it,

[00:55:04] you described what it looks like basically.

[00:55:08] Um,

[00:55:11] and doubly.

[00:55:12] So when I first saw it on the,

[00:55:14] uh,

[00:55:15] SCP,

[00:55:16] uh,

[00:55:17] website,

[00:55:18] visually,

[00:55:19] I thought it reminded me a lot of,

[00:55:21] um,

[00:55:22] SCP 682,

[00:55:23] at least based on my memory,

[00:55:25] which is the big cranky alligator that kills everyone.

[00:55:28] It can't be killed.

[00:55:28] The big cranky alligator.

[00:55:30] I love that nickname.

[00:55:32] Tell me I'm wrong.

[00:55:34] Oh my God.

[00:55:34] It's like,

[00:55:35] what was the name?

[00:55:36] What was the number?

[00:55:37] Six,

[00:55:37] four,

[00:55:38] three,

[00:55:38] six,

[00:55:39] two.

[00:55:39] Yes.

[00:55:40] Six.

[00:55:40] It's like,

[00:55:40] it's like a Clifford,

[00:55:41] the big red dog.

[00:55:42] Cause six,

[00:55:43] two,

[00:55:43] the big cranky alligator.

[00:55:47] What he is.

[00:55:48] Or like,

[00:55:48] what's that?

[00:55:49] Like the big giant caterpillar or like,

[00:55:51] it's like the big angry crocodile.

[00:55:53] Yeah.

[00:55:54] We need somebody.

[00:55:56] There needs to be children's books made of SCP.

[00:56:01] Yeah.

[00:56:02] Oh,

[00:56:02] there's definitely,

[00:56:03] there's definitely a market for that.

[00:56:06] Mm.

[00:56:07] It's a way to like educate people in the real world about these SCP entities without letting

[00:56:13] them know that they're being educated about it.

[00:56:15] So if there is an outbreak,

[00:56:17] they'll kind of know what to do.

[00:56:19] Yeah.

[00:56:20] Yeah.

[00:56:20] But no,

[00:56:21] back to what I was talking about.

[00:56:23] Um,

[00:56:24] I,

[00:56:24] I thought that these two look similar because as I recalled,

[00:56:29] uh,

[00:56:29] six,

[00:56:29] eight,

[00:56:29] two was also described as like being primarily all like black.

[00:56:34] And all you saw was like an exposed,

[00:56:36] elongated animal skull.

[00:56:38] Although looking back,

[00:56:39] six,

[00:56:40] two is more like a reptile than like a fuzzy guy.

[00:56:43] Yeah.

[00:56:44] He's,

[00:56:44] he's a little bit of a scaly creature.

[00:56:46] Yeah.

[00:56:47] With,

[00:56:47] but though,

[00:56:48] though he's scaly,

[00:56:49] but like,

[00:56:49] um,

[00:56:49] again,

[00:56:50] like some of the descriptions covered in like detritus and like garbage and shit.

[00:56:54] Yeah,

[00:56:54] exactly.

[00:56:54] And like,

[00:56:55] honestly,

[00:56:55] it looks like it might even be like a,

[00:56:57] like a,

[00:56:58] an elephant corpse or something like that,

[00:56:59] or like a tapir's corpse or something like that,

[00:57:01] because like there is in the actual,

[00:57:04] in the original image,

[00:57:05] it does look like there's almost like a trunk thing at the end,

[00:57:06] uh,

[00:57:07] at the end of its nose.

[00:57:07] But,

[00:57:08] um,

[00:57:10] I think also it's,

[00:57:11] it is,

[00:57:11] so it is supposed to be like in the,

[00:57:13] in the lore of SCP,

[00:57:14] I think it's supposed to be like this,

[00:57:15] like decaying,

[00:57:16] uh,

[00:57:17] alligator like monster,

[00:57:17] but then it does have like shaggy,

[00:57:19] hair or like a mane.

[00:57:21] So,

[00:57:21] yeah.

[00:57:23] Yeah.

[00:57:24] And what's sad is like,

[00:57:25] I could not remember the name of that SCP for the life of me.

[00:57:31] And do you know how I found it?

[00:57:33] How'd you find it?

[00:57:34] I went SCP 999 versus,

[00:57:36] and then I scrolled through all the different Google image results until I found him.

[00:57:41] Oh my God.

[00:57:42] That's awesome.

[00:57:43] Cause there's some like cute shit.

[00:57:47] First one you,

[00:57:49] I get on a Google images,

[00:57:50] SCP 999 versus 682.

[00:57:52] And it's like goopy guy,

[00:57:53] just hugging.

[00:57:54] Yeah.

[00:57:55] Yeah.

[00:57:56] Very angry looking,

[00:57:58] uh,

[00:57:58] 682.

[00:57:59] It's so good.

[00:58:01] Uh,

[00:58:02] yellow goopy guy.

[00:58:03] So good.

[00:58:03] So pure.

[00:58:04] Bestest guy.

[00:58:05] And not because he's yellow.

[00:58:06] He could literally be like,

[00:58:07] I'm not even joking.

[00:58:08] He could be any color and he'd still be the best.

[00:58:10] But the fact that he's yellow slash orange is even better.

[00:58:13] Yeah.

[00:58:15] He's my spirit animal.

[00:58:17] There is apparently a reverse 999.

[00:58:20] My God.

[00:58:22] We probably shouldn't get into that.

[00:58:24] Let's not.

[00:58:24] Yeah.

[00:58:25] I'm curious what it is though.

[00:58:26] Give me the number.

[00:58:27] 914.

[00:58:28] Apparently.

[00:58:29] 914.

[00:58:30] It's an SCP 914.

[00:58:32] I think.

[00:58:32] Yeah.

[00:58:33] Now it's showing some machine thing.

[00:58:36] Fuck it.

[00:58:36] Moving on back to the story at hand.

[00:58:38] Oh God.

[00:58:39] The,

[00:58:39] the danger police they're coming.

[00:58:41] Yep.

[00:58:41] They're always on our fricking door stub.

[00:58:44] All right.

[00:58:45] Uh,

[00:58:46] yeah.

[00:58:46] So talk about that.

[00:58:49] Yeah.

[00:58:53] So this line here.

[00:58:54] Now,

[00:58:55] every time I see.

[00:58:56] Okay.

[00:58:57] Now,

[00:58:58] every time I see Capone,

[00:58:59] I'm reminded of what I did in the car that day.

[00:59:02] I knew I shouldn't have picked up that text.

[00:59:04] If I didn't,

[00:59:05] she would still be here is what William says.

[00:59:08] So when I read that,

[00:59:10] I was like,

[00:59:10] how does William seeing that text in the car doom Sarah?

[00:59:16] Like Sarah already knew it was following her.

[00:59:19] She clearly was freaking out because she saw the picture akin to what was actually sent in the car.

[00:59:26] So that wouldn't have been news to her.

[00:59:29] Sarah is three days deeper into this program and way more into it than William was from the get go.

[00:59:36] So I don't understand how him showing her that one picture doomed her.

[00:59:41] I,

[00:59:42] I think it's,

[00:59:43] it was less like doing her.

[00:59:45] Well,

[00:59:45] maybe doing her,

[00:59:46] but like,

[00:59:46] I think it was more like she was already like well into it.

[00:59:50] And so she didn't want her,

[00:59:53] her brother to get like,

[00:59:55] like get trapped even deeper than,

[00:59:56] than like as deep as her.

[00:59:59] But yeah,

[01:00:00] it does.

[01:00:00] I,

[01:00:01] I remember when I read,

[01:00:02] when I first read this,

[01:00:03] like it,

[01:00:03] to me,

[01:00:04] it sounded like,

[01:00:04] Oh,

[01:00:04] maybe like,

[01:00:05] even if she looks at what the photo that he has,

[01:00:09] she's also still getting exposed to it.

[01:00:11] And so it's like,

[01:00:12] but no,

[01:00:13] yeah,

[01:00:13] you're right.

[01:00:13] Yeah.

[01:00:13] I think actually,

[01:00:14] just based on what you just said,

[01:00:17] I think the reason that,

[01:00:20] um,

[01:00:21] she,

[01:00:22] she died was because she infected.

[01:00:27] She,

[01:00:27] she did it out of guilt for infecting William,

[01:00:30] not because of what happened to her,

[01:00:32] because she's seeing it happen to her brother.

[01:00:36] Yeah.

[01:00:36] And she,

[01:00:37] and she's like,

[01:00:37] don't,

[01:00:38] don't want that.

[01:00:38] You do want to,

[01:00:39] do not want to see any of these anymore.

[01:00:41] Yeah.

[01:00:42] And like,

[01:00:43] because he's not one that,

[01:00:44] yeah.

[01:00:45] Yeah.

[01:00:45] Like that stacked onto the fact that like,

[01:00:46] she's got this ever present Cassandra around her.

[01:00:50] Um,

[01:00:50] like it probably just like push,

[01:00:52] uh,

[01:00:52] and that mixed with the guilt,

[01:00:54] just probably pushed her over the edge.

[01:00:55] Yeah.

[01:00:56] Um,

[01:00:57] cause again,

[01:00:57] like it,

[01:00:57] it would be a little unnerving.

[01:00:59] Like again,

[01:00:59] just waking up and it's right there.

[01:01:01] Like,

[01:01:01] hi,

[01:01:03] just in your vision normally.

[01:01:04] Yeah.

[01:01:05] Cause like,

[01:01:06] it's just,

[01:01:06] it's like literally describes it as over her while she sleeps.

[01:01:10] Yep.

[01:01:11] Like,

[01:01:11] Oh God.

[01:01:12] Uh,

[01:01:12] also I just,

[01:01:13] something I noticed and I forgot to mention this in my notes.

[01:01:15] Um,

[01:01:15] so like he calls her,

[01:01:16] he calls the entity Capone.

[01:01:18] She calls it Cassandra.

[01:01:19] Is that a thing where like,

[01:01:21] is that actually like part of the anomalies?

[01:01:23] Like infection rate is like the person who's infected and like,

[01:01:26] ends up like becoming buddies with,

[01:01:28] with the creature.

[01:01:29] Do they end up naming it with a C name?

[01:01:31] Or is that just a coincidence between Capone and Cassandra?

[01:01:35] It was just a coincidence.

[01:01:36] Cause he did it specifically for a reason.

[01:01:39] Yeah.

[01:01:39] But I do like the idea.

[01:01:41] Like,

[01:01:41] yeah,

[01:01:41] no,

[01:01:41] that's actually like,

[01:01:42] for some reason that's part of it.

[01:01:43] Like the creature asks,

[01:01:44] like,

[01:01:45] like the,

[01:01:45] the creature affects the person likes psychology.

[01:01:48] They're like,

[01:01:48] it sounds like like they,

[01:01:50] that,

[01:01:50] that creature looks like some,

[01:01:52] like,

[01:01:52] like something with a name that starts with a C.

[01:01:54] You know,

[01:01:56] I mean,

[01:01:57] you could be absolutely right because it's unexplainable,

[01:02:01] all the things that can already do.

[01:02:02] So who knows what it can do that we're not even aware of.

[01:02:06] Yeah.

[01:02:08] Also,

[01:02:08] God damn it.

[01:02:08] Some of these images are like so wholesome.

[01:02:10] And then some of them are just like,

[01:02:11] wow.

[01:02:14] Yeah.

[01:02:15] So I'm,

[01:02:15] I do have,

[01:02:16] I do have the Google images up.

[01:02:17] 14,

[01:02:18] 71.

[01:02:19] Okay.

[01:02:21] Cassandra does good in a,

[01:02:23] in one of those orange SCP jumpsuits.

[01:02:25] Now,

[01:02:26] I'm sure.

[01:02:28] Sorry.

[01:02:28] Continue.

[01:02:32] Not everything has to be horny.

[01:02:34] Okay.

[01:02:35] Hey,

[01:02:36] you can't spell horror without horny.

[01:02:38] Can you?

[01:02:41] Horror and horny are,

[01:02:43] horror and horny are two sides of the same coin.

[01:02:47] Oh,

[01:02:47] okay.

[01:02:47] We'll go with that analogy.

[01:02:49] Sure.

[01:02:50] Some people,

[01:02:50] some people cope with horror is they just get,

[01:02:53] they suddenly just get attracted to it.

[01:02:55] Yeah.

[01:02:56] It's like a,

[01:02:57] um,

[01:02:58] Stockholm syndrome situation.

[01:03:00] Yeah.

[01:03:00] Or I get it like that.

[01:03:01] Japanese word for the Japanese word for creepy is very,

[01:03:05] is so close to,

[01:03:06] to the word cute that they,

[01:03:07] oh,

[01:03:07] that they're often like mistaken.

[01:03:10] Yes.

[01:03:11] Yes.

[01:03:11] Which is kind of hilarious.

[01:03:13] Yeah.

[01:03:15] Anyway.

[01:03:16] Yes.

[01:03:17] I,

[01:03:17] I digress.

[01:03:18] I apologize.

[01:03:19] You should.

[01:03:20] Anyways.

[01:03:21] So,

[01:03:21] um,

[01:03:22] we get to the ending and I,

[01:03:24] the ending of Williams,

[01:03:26] um,

[01:03:27] recounting of what happened to him.

[01:03:29] I like that.

[01:03:30] The retelling of Capone.

[01:03:32] I like the way that the retelling of this ended.

[01:03:36] We're like,

[01:03:36] we get a short story and then like,

[01:03:39] there's a short bit out of that story.

[01:03:43] That's like him just interacting briefly with Capone.

[01:03:47] And then he goes back to add a bit more.

[01:03:49] Yeah.

[01:03:50] I like that.

[01:03:51] Cause like,

[01:03:51] it shows a bit more like,

[01:03:53] I don't know,

[01:03:53] like humility or like realism to like,

[01:03:56] this is a story that this kid's sitting down writing while he's being

[01:03:59] watched by this creature.

[01:04:01] And it,

[01:04:02] it's just kind of cool.

[01:04:03] I like that little cutout.

[01:04:04] Yeah.

[01:04:05] It's,

[01:04:05] it's a nice little like,

[01:04:06] uh,

[01:04:06] flavor to it.

[01:04:07] Like,

[01:04:07] uh,

[01:04:08] it helps,

[01:04:08] it amplifies the,

[01:04:09] uh,

[01:04:10] uh,

[01:04:10] the narrative.

[01:04:13] I wonder what Capone would think about like him talking to people about

[01:04:16] what's happening or like if he's even aware that he's like fucking up

[01:04:21] their lives.

[01:04:23] I don't know.

[01:04:24] It maybe,

[01:04:25] maybe it doesn't care or like,

[01:04:27] it might be sad,

[01:04:27] but like what it's,

[01:04:29] what it's sort of meant to do.

[01:04:31] Yeah.

[01:04:33] Like with a dimensional gap between them,

[01:04:35] it's not like they could talk or even like make sounds to each other.

[01:04:39] Right.

[01:04:39] The best they can do is,

[01:04:40] it does seem to understand when he's talking to it.

[01:04:43] It just,

[01:04:43] it can't properly articulate to him.

[01:04:47] It seems to,

[01:04:49] but I wonder if that's just like,

[01:04:51] it's being nice on its side,

[01:04:54] just sitting there and nodding,

[01:04:55] even though like,

[01:04:57] cause like this person clearly wants to speak to me.

[01:04:59] So I'll just be nice.

[01:05:01] I,

[01:05:01] I am friend.

[01:05:02] I'm going to try and gauge and the charade that I see in front of me.

[01:05:07] Yes.

[01:05:10] I'll just keep waving.

[01:05:13] And then,

[01:05:13] uh,

[01:05:14] we get the ending where the ending TLDR is basically.

[01:05:18] Mallows aren't the problem.

[01:05:19] The people sending them out is.

[01:05:21] Cause like the mallows aren't technically hurting anyone directly,

[01:05:26] which is true.

[01:05:28] Um,

[01:05:30] since like the problems that come from this are like the way human minds are

[01:05:34] dealing with the things that they're seeing.

[01:05:35] But I do wonder like who is like sending these out and for what purpose?

[01:05:40] Well,

[01:05:41] that's the thing.

[01:05:41] Like that they even propose is like,

[01:05:43] like they don't know if,

[01:05:44] if Mallow was created,

[01:05:45] it might've just appeared out of like,

[01:05:48] it might've just been like appeared like the anomaly might just like,

[01:05:51] it might've just grown out of,

[01:05:53] out of into existence,

[01:05:54] like,

[01:05:54] like popped out of nowhere.

[01:05:56] Um,

[01:05:56] or like festered in the internet or in cyberspace.

[01:05:59] And then,

[01:05:59] oops,

[01:06:00] there,

[01:06:00] now we suddenly have this weird anomalous like app.

[01:06:03] Um,

[01:06:04] so like it,

[01:06:05] it might be again,

[01:06:06] like he kind of says like a preternatural,

[01:06:08] like creation of this app,

[01:06:09] or it might've been created by some,

[01:06:11] someone or something.

[01:06:13] Um,

[01:06:13] and we just don't know.

[01:06:16] And you only kind of uncover it by chance.

[01:06:19] Like,

[01:06:19] cause you don't know what this app is going to do to you.

[01:06:22] Yeah.

[01:06:22] So I also wonder how much of that,

[01:06:25] um,

[01:06:26] of like Williams,

[01:06:27] like,

[01:06:28] like,

[01:06:28] Oh,

[01:06:28] I don't blame Mallow or like,

[01:06:30] I don't blame,

[01:06:31] like,

[01:06:31] it's not nothing on me and none on,

[01:06:33] uh,

[01:06:34] on,

[01:06:34] on the map.

[01:06:35] It's just happened by chance.

[01:06:36] I wonder how much of that is like,

[01:06:37] is there some kind of like sub,

[01:06:39] like kind of like subconscious,

[01:06:40] like control,

[01:06:41] like influence that it's having,

[01:06:42] or like,

[01:06:43] where it's like after you get past,

[01:06:45] like,

[01:06:46] it's sort of,

[01:06:46] again,

[01:06:46] a Stockholm syndrome kind of situation or like,

[01:06:48] cause like he's,

[01:06:49] he's obviously acclimated to having,

[01:06:53] um,

[01:06:54] Capone around is,

[01:06:55] is Capone's,

[01:06:56] uh,

[01:06:57] presence kind of affecting him with like,

[01:06:58] I'm not,

[01:06:58] I can't,

[01:06:59] I can't stay mad at you.

[01:07:00] You're such a good boy.

[01:07:02] Kind of like,

[01:07:03] kind of like that thing with dogs.

[01:07:05] Like,

[01:07:06] it's so hard.

[01:07:07] Like,

[01:07:07] you stay mad at me.

[01:07:09] looks good.

[01:07:09] And it's like,

[01:07:10] Oh,

[01:07:10] exactly.

[01:07:11] It's like,

[01:07:11] I can't stay mad at you.

[01:07:13] Like that effect that dogs have on people.

[01:07:16] Kill my sister.

[01:07:17] Oh,

[01:07:18] it's okay.

[01:07:19] She's kind of a bitch sometimes.

[01:07:22] That's actually the exact opposite of what she said,

[01:07:24] what he said about his sister,

[01:07:25] but okay.

[01:07:26] Okay.

[01:07:26] But he literally did.

[01:07:28] Hmm.

[01:07:29] The Capone did indirectly get the sister killed.

[01:07:33] Like there's,

[01:07:34] there's no way around it.

[01:07:35] That is what happened.

[01:07:36] Yeah.

[01:07:36] But like for just being there,

[01:07:37] are you just going to,

[01:07:38] you're going to blame him for just being there.

[01:07:40] Guilty by association,

[01:07:42] guilty by proximity.

[01:07:44] Wow.

[01:07:45] Which means technically Williams to blame a little bit too.

[01:07:48] Cause maybe he should have seen these signs and stuff.

[01:07:51] Hey,

[01:07:52] don't put the blame on Mallow.

[01:07:54] I like how I was originally like saying like,

[01:07:55] well,

[01:07:55] is he being controlled?

[01:07:56] Like to like not worry about it.

[01:07:58] And then I'm now absolutely defending Mallow.

[01:07:59] Of course,

[01:08:00] because I am attacking Mallow.

[01:08:02] Yeah,

[01:08:02] exactly.

[01:08:04] I mean,

[01:08:05] I am a dog person,

[01:08:06] so.

[01:08:07] Yeah,

[01:08:07] fair.

[01:08:08] Yeah.

[01:08:09] Indeed.

[01:08:11] But yeah,

[01:08:12] that's about it until final thoughts.

[01:08:17] All right.

[01:08:18] Well,

[01:08:18] let's dive into final thoughts.

[01:08:22] Yeah,

[01:08:22] no,

[01:08:22] I'm still going to recommend it.

[01:08:24] It's a really neat monster.

[01:08:25] And like situation,

[01:08:27] uh,

[01:08:27] like for a horror game or for like a horror thing.

[01:08:29] Um,

[01:08:30] I could definitely use this as inspiration for a game of all material.

[01:08:34] Um,

[01:08:35] and I probably will.

[01:08:36] Sorry,

[01:08:36] gamer.

[01:08:37] Mine has been expected.

[01:08:39] Uh,

[01:08:40] and I'm.

[01:08:41] Every week is just a preview for coming events.

[01:08:44] For coming attractions.

[01:08:45] Yeah,

[01:08:45] exactly.

[01:08:47] Uh,

[01:08:48] maybe not today,

[01:08:49] maybe not tomorrow,

[01:08:50] but someday this will get to you.

[01:08:53] Right.

[01:08:54] When I forget about it.

[01:08:55] Yeah,

[01:08:55] exactly.

[01:08:56] And,

[01:08:57] and again,

[01:08:57] like I'm always a fan of,

[01:08:58] of buddy horror and this is 100% a buddy horror,

[01:09:02] uh,

[01:09:03] entry and,

[01:09:04] and even the story.

[01:09:05] So,

[01:09:05] yeah.

[01:09:06] Uh,

[01:09:07] yeah,

[01:09:07] that's,

[01:09:08] uh,

[01:09:08] that's my,

[01:09:09] my final thoughts.

[01:09:10] I recommend.

[01:09:11] So Mikey,

[01:09:12] these stats are evil.

[01:09:14] Um,

[01:09:14] so I was trying to think of,

[01:09:18] uh,

[01:09:19] connected tissues.

[01:09:21] So,

[01:09:23] uh,

[01:09:24] I've been watching this,

[01:09:25] uh,

[01:09:26] cartoon called,

[01:09:29] uh,

[01:09:29] Owl House.

[01:09:30] Oh yeah.

[01:09:32] Yeah.

[01:09:33] Yeah.

[01:09:33] Yeah.

[01:09:33] Oh,

[01:09:33] I know who you're talking about.

[01:09:35] I don't.

[01:09:37] And,

[01:09:37] yeah.

[01:09:38] The,

[01:09:39] uh,

[01:09:40] one character,

[01:09:42] um,

[01:09:42] tries to make her way back home,

[01:09:46] but she ends up in a sort of in between space where she can,

[01:09:54] um,

[01:09:56] access like reflections.

[01:09:58] Yeah.

[01:09:59] So like she's visible in the,

[01:10:04] uh,

[01:10:05] stained glass.

[01:10:06] She's visible in the glass on someone's phone.

[01:10:09] Like,

[01:10:10] um,

[01:10:11] um,

[01:10:12] that sort of thing.

[01:10:14] So,

[01:10:15] so that sort of similar and ideas,

[01:10:20] cause,

[01:10:20] uh,

[01:10:21] the main character can see them,

[01:10:24] uh,

[01:10:25] in a reflection,

[01:10:27] but when he looks back,

[01:10:29] they're not there.

[01:10:31] Yeah.

[01:10:31] So it's a similar kind of like hallucinatory or like,

[01:10:34] um,

[01:10:35] perception sort of situation.

[01:10:36] Yeah.

[01:10:37] Like through multiple dimensions situation as well from the sounds of it.

[01:10:40] Yeah.

[01:10:42] I,

[01:10:43] I honestly thought you were going to reference the fact that King is a skull faced dog demon.

[01:10:49] Oh,

[01:10:50] it looked an awful lot.

[01:10:51] Like,

[01:10:52] it's like a baby version of them.

[01:10:54] Yeah,

[01:10:54] basically.

[01:10:54] Yeah.

[01:10:56] Well,

[01:10:56] that was baby.

[01:11:02] Also,

[01:11:03] Oh my God,

[01:11:03] it's King.

[01:11:04] If that was,

[01:11:04] if King was just spelled with a C.

[01:11:08] Oh yeah.

[01:11:09] Because C names,

[01:11:10] I see.

[01:11:10] Yeah.

[01:11:13] Yeah.

[01:11:13] But yeah,

[01:11:15] I do need to watch more vowel house.

[01:11:17] I've been meaning to actually check it out.

[01:11:21] So yeah.

[01:11:22] Yeah.

[01:11:24] So on the plus side for this,

[01:11:27] you get a new friend.

[01:11:28] Yeah.

[01:11:29] On the minus side,

[01:11:31] you get a new friend.

[01:11:36] Yeah.

[01:11:37] Yeah.

[01:11:38] Forever.

[01:11:42] They'll never leave your friend that you have that you sometimes wish you didn't have.

[01:11:47] Yeah.

[01:11:48] That's forever now.

[01:11:49] Yeah.

[01:11:50] You've got to cling on with a C.

[01:11:56] Yeah.

[01:12:01] So yeah,

[01:12:02] this is a,

[01:12:03] still a partial recommendation.

[01:12:05] Okay.

[01:12:07] Uh,

[01:12:09] though,

[01:12:10] what,

[01:12:10] what,

[01:12:10] what classifies the partial though?

[01:12:15] Well,

[01:12:16] because didn't you like about it that brought it down to partial?

[01:12:20] Well,

[01:12:24] basically the,

[01:12:26] it's the two sides of the same coin.

[01:12:30] So you get a new friend and this is a buddy horror and this isn't that horrifying.

[01:12:37] Oh,

[01:12:38] I see what you're saying.

[01:12:39] Okay.

[01:12:39] Okay.

[01:12:40] Yeah.

[01:12:40] You like that it was a buddy horror,

[01:12:41] but it really wasn't very horrific.

[01:12:44] Hence why partial.

[01:12:45] Yeah.

[01:12:45] I mean,

[01:12:46] people died,

[01:12:46] but yeah,

[01:12:48] but by their own choice,

[01:12:50] I mean,

[01:12:51] their own,

[01:12:51] like,

[01:12:52] no,

[01:12:52] because like it is yet you're right by their own choice,

[01:12:55] but also they are being traumatized by the experience of encountering this entity.

[01:13:01] Yeah.

[01:13:01] Like it's,

[01:13:02] it is driving the mat again.

[01:13:03] That's the buddy horror.

[01:13:04] Horror is that like the creature isn't trying to harm them.

[01:13:08] It doesn't mean to do it.

[01:13:10] It just,

[01:13:11] its presence is harmful to some,

[01:13:13] to some people's psyche that drives them to insanity and then self-harm.

[01:13:19] Doesn't seem to care either.

[01:13:21] Yeah.

[01:13:22] Well,

[01:13:22] because that's another aspect of it where it's not,

[01:13:24] it's not like it's friend and it's sad that it's doing these things or it's friend and

[01:13:29] it doesn't care or it doesn't know.

[01:13:31] Yeah.

[01:13:31] Like maybe read its face.

[01:13:32] Like he says.

[01:13:33] Yeah.

[01:13:33] Yeah,

[01:13:34] exactly.

[01:13:34] Like maybe it is sad.

[01:13:36] Like,

[01:13:36] uh,

[01:13:37] it just friend.

[01:13:39] Don't make this any difficult.

[01:13:41] Yeah.

[01:13:42] What was that?

[01:13:43] I think it was like M friend.

[01:13:45] Oh,

[01:13:45] and held.

[01:13:46] I was like,

[01:13:47] the guy's like,

[01:13:47] Oh,

[01:13:47] sorry.

[01:13:48] We've got to kick you,

[01:13:49] uh,

[01:13:51] to get our friend in here.

[01:13:52] And then the other random guy is like,

[01:13:54] but I'm friend.

[01:13:55] And then he responds to us.

[01:13:57] Don't make this more difficult.

[01:13:59] It has to be.

[01:14:00] So good.

[01:14:02] Uh,

[01:14:04] yeah.

[01:14:06] But yeah,

[01:14:07] like I,

[01:14:07] that's all I have,

[01:14:08] I see,

[01:14:08] like I,

[01:14:08] I could definitely like,

[01:14:10] I,

[01:14:10] I imagine like,

[01:14:12] um,

[01:14:12] that Cassandra was kind of probably,

[01:14:15] um,

[01:14:16] internally maybe sad that like,

[01:14:18] uh,

[01:14:18] of what happened with Sarah.

[01:14:20] Um,

[01:14:21] or maybe not like,

[01:14:22] again,

[01:14:22] like maybe it is just like an alien life form that doesn't understand like,

[01:14:25] Oh,

[01:14:25] that person stops existing.

[01:14:27] Okay.

[01:14:28] Yeah.

[01:14:29] Cause we don't know anything about them,

[01:14:31] but that's probably cause they also don't know anything about us.

[01:14:35] It's could be completely balanced like that,

[01:14:38] you know?

[01:14:39] Yep.

[01:14:39] Yeah.

[01:14:40] I see.

[01:14:40] I do see Mikey's point of like,

[01:14:42] it is,

[01:14:42] Oh,

[01:14:42] for sure.

[01:14:42] It is a,

[01:14:43] it is a buddy horror,

[01:14:44] but it is also like,

[01:14:45] like,

[01:14:46] so you can take it or leave,

[01:14:46] like,

[01:14:47] like take it horrifically or like,

[01:14:49] it's just kind of silly.

[01:14:51] Yeah.

[01:14:52] It's not something you read and you're going to be directly scared by.

[01:14:56] Yeah.

[01:14:57] Like I'm excited about it,

[01:14:58] but I'm not like,

[01:15:00] this is like a way into this one.

[01:15:01] Yeah.

[01:15:02] But I'm not like super terrified or anything like that by it.

[01:15:04] A little horny,

[01:15:05] but yeah,

[01:15:06] not terrifying.

[01:15:07] I mean,

[01:15:11] those Google images.

[01:15:12] I'm just going to say,

[01:15:13] I'm just going to avoid those.

[01:15:17] Yes.

[01:15:17] My turn.

[01:15:18] Yes.

[01:15:19] Save us.

[01:15:20] So yeah.

[01:15:23] So Mikey did bring up some good points,

[01:15:24] honestly,

[01:15:25] where it's an interesting read,

[01:15:28] but like,

[01:15:29] it's,

[01:15:29] it's like passive with what it's doing.

[01:15:32] It's not.

[01:15:34] Okay.

[01:15:34] It's a you could class.

[01:15:35] We already don't know anything about it,

[01:15:37] but like,

[01:15:38] it also doesn't seem like the foundation is trying to learn anything about it.

[01:15:42] Yeah.

[01:15:43] They're just like,

[01:15:44] yeah,

[01:15:45] they're just containing it.

[01:15:46] So where's the research happening here?

[01:15:48] Well,

[01:15:48] here,

[01:15:49] there,

[01:15:50] usually we're so used to,

[01:15:51] to SCP researching as well.

[01:15:53] Here's the thing though.

[01:15:54] SCP stands for secure,

[01:15:56] contain,

[01:15:57] protect.

[01:15:58] They are doing their job.

[01:16:02] to the,

[01:16:03] to the best of their abilities.

[01:16:04] Like they are containing it and,

[01:16:06] and they are going to,

[01:16:07] they do have,

[01:16:07] they are sending these things to a storage unit in,

[01:16:10] at a research site.

[01:16:11] So it is actually being looked at,

[01:16:14] it is being looked into,

[01:16:15] but like,

[01:16:16] they're also like probably trying to like research it without like getting

[01:16:21] contaminated themselves.

[01:16:23] Why bother?

[01:16:24] Just send some D class to learn about it.

[01:16:26] Well,

[01:16:26] that's probably what they're doing.

[01:16:28] Yeah.

[01:16:29] Yeah.

[01:16:30] Yeah.

[01:16:30] Yeah.

[01:16:32] With the way that this thing is set up as a,

[01:16:36] a,

[01:16:37] basically a virus that anyone can get on their phone and they've detained

[01:16:40] thousands and thousands of phones and we only have one entry of it.

[01:16:44] It's kind of weird as well.

[01:16:45] So like,

[01:16:46] as neat as this is,

[01:16:48] I feel like there could have,

[01:16:49] there could be more to this.

[01:16:50] So I might drop mine to a partial as well,

[01:16:53] because while I enjoyed the read,

[01:16:56] it left me wanting.

[01:16:58] No,

[01:16:59] no,

[01:16:59] not that way.

[01:17:01] I wasn't going to go there.

[01:17:02] You were absolutely.

[01:17:04] I was actually going to go with your,

[01:17:05] your Disney princesses,

[01:17:07] this episode.

[01:17:08] Oh,

[01:17:08] okay.

[01:17:08] Fine.

[01:17:09] That's fine.

[01:17:10] A thirsty,

[01:17:11] thirsty Disney princess.

[01:17:12] I can't.

[01:17:14] I was actually not going to go that way at all.

[01:17:17] Yeah.

[01:17:17] I figured this much.

[01:17:18] It's fine.

[01:17:20] So yeah,

[01:17:21] I always like SCPs that have research on them because it shows that they're

[01:17:25] trying to do something to,

[01:17:27] okay.

[01:17:28] Yes.

[01:17:28] It's secure,

[01:17:29] contain,

[01:17:29] protect,

[01:17:29] but what's the best way to protect people and secure this from people

[01:17:36] and stuff is to completely negate its anomalous effects on the humans.

[01:17:41] Yeah.

[01:17:42] Like if it's as simple as we figured out how it sends its,

[01:17:50] how,

[01:17:51] how it connects to the person and we've developed something that we've like

[01:17:58] quietly put into production of all phones and all updates.

[01:18:04] So just the phones have basically an anti-mallow wear.

[01:18:07] Oh my God.

[01:18:08] I just realized when did this cut?

[01:18:10] When,

[01:18:10] when did this like,

[01:18:11] like reported?

[01:18:12] Hang on.

[01:18:13] Cause I just realized something that would be really funny for this.

[01:18:16] Uh,

[01:18:16] so I think this first came out in 2013.

[01:18:20] Okay.

[01:18:21] So I got,

[01:18:21] I know exactly what the SCP has been doing to like negate this on,

[01:18:24] on the internet.

[01:18:25] And that's why we haven't heard of it.

[01:18:27] Like,

[01:18:28] like any of these apps popping up 5g.

[01:18:31] Yes.

[01:18:33] That's how it is.

[01:18:34] Yeah.

[01:18:34] That's what,

[01:18:35] that's what that,

[01:18:35] that was like when they,

[01:18:36] when they,

[01:18:36] when they brought in 4g and 5g networks,

[01:18:39] how everybody was worried that like,

[01:18:41] Oh,

[01:18:41] it's going to like wipe out,

[01:18:42] it's going to be like enslaved the human race.

[01:18:44] And so like number of the beast kind of stuff.

[01:18:45] It's like,

[01:18:45] no,

[01:18:46] no,

[01:18:46] it's just negating the effects of certain anomalous act apps that keep

[01:18:51] popping up on,

[01:18:52] on,

[01:18:52] on app stores.

[01:18:54] That's cool.

[01:18:55] I'm way into that.

[01:18:57] I can't take responsibility for that.

[01:18:59] Cause like,

[01:18:59] that was something that was suggested in,

[01:19:01] a campaign by the,

[01:19:03] uh,

[01:19:03] all roads taverns guys.

[01:19:05] Uh,

[01:19:05] they,

[01:19:05] they were like,

[01:19:07] uh,

[01:19:07] they,

[01:19:07] they ran a horror campaign,

[01:19:08] uh,

[01:19:09] set in the eighties called,

[01:19:10] uh,

[01:19:10] elder hollow.

[01:19:11] And like at the end of the campaign,

[01:19:13] they,

[01:19:13] they offhandedly mentioned reference that like the men in,

[01:19:16] like the men in black nowadays,

[01:19:18] like,

[01:19:18] um,

[01:19:19] like in the modern day,

[01:19:20] like,

[01:19:21] like after the eighties and stuff,

[01:19:22] um,

[01:19:23] they started at putting in cell towers everywhere to stop the weirdness.

[01:19:29] So that's why nothing's weird anymore.

[01:19:31] Like that's why there's no supernatural shit anymore.

[01:19:33] Like after the eighties or into the nineties is because cell towers also negate supernatural stuff.

[01:19:41] Yeah.

[01:19:42] I'm,

[01:19:43] I'm really down for like explanations like that where they're using something that we know of in real life through news or otherwise and giving it a,

[01:19:53] like a reason alternate reason.

[01:19:55] Yeah.

[01:19:56] It's like,

[01:19:56] it's like the,

[01:19:57] uh,

[01:19:57] the power lines in troll hunter.

[01:19:58] It's like,

[01:19:59] uh,

[01:20:00] in Norway,

[01:20:01] it's like,

[01:20:01] it's like,

[01:20:01] oh,

[01:20:01] well we have power lines in Norway.

[01:20:02] Uh,

[01:20:03] we,

[01:20:03] we have power lines up in the North because Norway has trolls.

[01:20:07] Thank you.

[01:20:08] prime minister of,

[01:20:09] of Norway.

[01:20:10] Yeah.

[01:20:12] It's basically an electric fence for trolls.

[01:20:14] Yeah,

[01:20:14] exactly.

[01:20:15] For the,

[01:20:16] for the big ones,

[01:20:16] the Jotun class.

[01:20:18] Super cool.

[01:20:19] Yeah.

[01:20:20] But yeah,

[01:20:20] I do like that idea.

[01:20:21] Like,

[01:20:22] Oh God,

[01:20:23] that could be,

[01:20:23] I'll say that's good game fodder even too.

[01:20:25] Cause like your,

[01:20:26] your agents that are like just going out,

[01:20:28] like you're basically the maintenance guys and like,

[01:20:31] you have to go like fix the problem,

[01:20:33] but there's a chance that there's a leak,

[01:20:35] like a,

[01:20:35] a breach or a leak or something like that.

[01:20:37] So you have to deal with like the breach on top of like fixing the problem or maintaining a situation.

[01:20:43] That's,

[01:20:44] that's not a terrible idea for a game,

[01:20:45] honestly.

[01:20:46] Yeah.

[01:20:46] There's a lot of cool ways that this can go.

[01:20:48] Yeah.

[01:20:49] And like considering how big this was,

[01:20:52] like the way that you talked about this thing,

[01:20:55] I was going in here being like,

[01:20:57] okay,

[01:20:57] this is the Jeff,

[01:20:58] the killer of,

[01:20:59] uh,

[01:21:00] SCPs.

[01:21:01] Yeah.

[01:21:01] This is the Tumblr bait of SCPs.

[01:21:03] Yeah.

[01:21:04] Because it is,

[01:21:05] there is that,

[01:21:06] like,

[01:21:06] it is all,

[01:21:07] like there is that thing online for it.

[01:21:10] I think it's probably the most like fan,

[01:21:13] like,

[01:21:14] like it is the most Tumblr bait of SCPs that I've seen online.

[01:21:18] But like,

[01:21:19] I expected the same amount of like,

[01:21:22] I don't know.

[01:21:24] No,

[01:21:24] I didn't expect it to be bad.

[01:21:26] I expected more because of how much everyone loves it.

[01:21:29] I figured it would be expanded upon a whole lot.

[01:21:32] And there'd be like,

[01:21:33] at least five different incident reports,

[01:21:35] you know,

[01:21:36] like,

[01:21:36] and research on it.

[01:21:38] What's it doing now?

[01:21:39] What's its current like containment?

[01:21:41] Are we able to deal with it?

[01:21:42] Did we give up on trying to contain it or to negate it?

[01:21:46] And we're just containing like,

[01:21:47] yeah,

[01:21:48] there's very little SCP in this SCP,

[01:21:51] if you know what I mean?

[01:21:52] Yeah.

[01:21:53] And again,

[01:21:53] like there is something to be said about like negative space.

[01:21:55] Like it,

[01:21:56] like if,

[01:21:56] if there is an absence of like details,

[01:21:59] um,

[01:22:00] but,

[01:22:00] but the,

[01:22:01] has a good hook,

[01:22:02] like people would like the art of the fans and whatnot,

[01:22:05] we'll just start making like filling in those gaps with the,

[01:22:08] with the art and stuff with that.

[01:22:09] So yeah,

[01:22:11] absolutely.

[01:22:11] But yeah,

[01:22:12] I do agree.

[01:22:13] I do agree with you guys.

[01:22:14] Like there's,

[01:22:14] I do feel like the entry itself should have more.

[01:22:17] Yeah.

[01:22:19] Yeah.

[01:22:19] But that's where I stand.

[01:22:21] Okay.

[01:22:21] I'm backing up to a partial.

[01:22:22] All right.

[01:22:23] Well,

[01:22:24] I'm,

[01:22:24] I'm honestly like,

[01:22:25] again,

[01:22:25] while I agree with you guys,

[01:22:26] I'm going to remain with a full recommendation because I do just enjoy this.

[01:22:30] Like I enjoyed the read and what,

[01:22:32] but it wasn't enough to like pull me down to a partial.

[01:22:35] So for sure.

[01:22:37] So,

[01:22:37] uh,

[01:22:37] yeah,

[01:22:38] it'll be two partial recommendations and one full recommendation.

[01:22:41] Um,

[01:22:42] there is room for,

[01:22:44] for added,

[01:22:45] for additions on there.

[01:22:45] In fact,

[01:22:46] I'm,

[01:22:46] and since it is an SCP,

[01:22:48] uh,

[01:22:49] entry,

[01:22:49] like people can go in and like add in some extra things as,

[01:22:53] as it goes on.

[01:22:54] Um,

[01:22:55] like,

[01:22:55] um,

[01:22:56] the,

[01:22:56] the writer puts it out and the writer does all the additions.

[01:22:59] No,

[01:23:00] like other art.

[01:23:01] Well,

[01:23:01] I think there is,

[01:23:02] um,

[01:23:02] no,

[01:23:02] there's definitely people that go in and like add things as well,

[01:23:04] or like,

[01:23:05] uh,

[01:23:06] like they do revisions to it.

[01:23:07] And then,

[01:23:07] but like,

[01:23:08] it is sort of a,

[01:23:09] like a writing council or like a writing,

[01:23:11] like,

[01:23:11] like it's a,

[01:23:12] it's a community.

[01:23:12] So like people will go in and say,

[01:23:14] Oh,

[01:23:14] like this could,

[01:23:15] this could be added.

[01:23:16] And then like,

[01:23:16] it's up to like other people to like either revert to a previous iteration or

[01:23:20] like,

[01:23:21] uh,

[01:23:21] say,

[01:23:21] Hey,

[01:23:21] I don't like that.

[01:23:22] Like let's,

[01:23:23] let's,

[01:23:23] let's tone that down kind of thing.

[01:23:24] Yeah.

[01:23:25] Okay.

[01:23:25] That's cool.

[01:23:26] Yeah.

[01:23:27] But yeah,

[01:23:28] again,

[01:23:28] what we have is,

[01:23:29] is pretty good.

[01:23:30] I think so.

[01:23:31] Um,

[01:23:32] it's just,

[01:23:33] there's,

[01:23:33] there's definitely some room for,

[01:23:34] for additions.

[01:23:35] Um,

[01:23:38] but,

[01:23:38] uh,

[01:23:38] yeah,

[01:23:38] that'll do it for this week's episode.

[01:23:40] So if you like what you heard,

[01:23:41] or if you didn't leave the comment section below,

[01:23:43] whether this gets posted,

[01:23:44] we're all on Twitter,

[01:23:45] kind of,

[01:23:47] uh,

[01:23:48] Mikey's at the East End.

[01:23:48] Even you,

[01:23:49] you're only kind of on that.

[01:23:50] Cause you're primarily on Blue Sky,

[01:23:51] aren't you?

[01:23:52] I'm more,

[01:23:52] yeah,

[01:23:52] I'm more on Blue Sky,

[01:23:53] but,

[01:23:53] um,

[01:23:54] Mikey's at the East End Cerebral.

[01:23:56] The Gamer in Yellow,

[01:23:57] when he's on there,

[01:23:58] is at the Gamer in Yellow,

[01:23:58] but without that W at the end,

[01:23:59] cause his name is very long.

[01:24:01] Yeah.

[01:24:01] And I'm at Review Cultist.

[01:24:04] And as said,

[01:24:05] mentioned just a second ago,

[01:24:06] I'm also on Blue Sky at Review Cultist.

[01:24:08] Uh,

[01:24:09] so you can send me messages there.

[01:24:10] You can also send us emails at al dente rigamortis at gmail.com.

[01:24:14] That's A-L-D-E-N-T-E-R-I-G-A-M-O-R-T-I-S-L-G-M-L.com.

[01:24:19] Where you can also leave us suggestions for other creeppastas,

[01:24:22] SCPs,

[01:24:23] spooky things.

[01:24:24] You creep it,

[01:24:25] we'll peep it.

[01:24:25] Yeah!

[01:24:26] And if you'd like to help support our show financially,

[01:24:28] you can go to Patreon,

[01:24:36] thank you immensely.

[01:24:37] You're helping keep those hosting bills at bay.

[01:24:39] And as always,

[01:24:40] we very much appreciate that.

[01:24:42] And to our listeners and the authors of these entries and stories,

[01:24:45] thank you immensely.

[01:24:46] Because without your listenership,

[01:24:47] it'd be like screaming into the void.

[01:24:49] And without your authorship,

[01:24:51] without these stories or these SCP entries that you post online,

[01:24:55] that you write and you post online,

[01:24:57] we really wouldn't have much of a show because we have nothing to talk about.

[01:25:00] So thank you.

[01:25:01] Until next time,

[01:25:02] I have been your host,

[01:25:03] Review Cultist.

[01:25:04] I am Mikey,

[01:25:05] the San Strieval.

[01:25:06] And I'm the Gamer in Yellow.

[01:25:07] And this has been Al Dente Rigamortis.

[01:25:11] Sleep well.
